*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Qur'an Ayath - Explanation :- -A Close Friend of a Master of Imitation Swimming in the Seas ofIndonesia: The Jawfish

Many living things can conceal themselves by taking the color of its
surroundings by means of its camouflage abilities. However, to
impersonate a different species by changing color and shape and to
perfectly imitate them is a new type of behavior, discovered by
scientists only recently. As it is known, the octopus has tens of
thousands of sacs called "chromatophores" on its body. The ctopus can
shrink and loosen these sacs to look like any background color or
image. However, the mimic octopus also changes its appearance to
imitate other animals. It can color itself with the colors of a
lionfish, then it bravely swims away after enlarging its eight arms
around its body to resemble the poisonous thorns of the lion fish. Or
itcan place its head and seven arms like triangle shape of a
tortonese's stingray and moves along the sea surface by dragging its
eighth arm like its tail. Or it jumps intoa sand hill to look like a
poisonous sea anemone and holds its arms in a zigzag mode. Not having
ahard interior and outer skeleton gives this being abody structure
ideal for imitation. This behavior displayed by the octopus is of
course very interesting and a result of our Lord's control over living
beings. However, what is more interesting isthe existence of a fish,
which takes advantage of an octopus that runs awayfrom its hunters by
imitating the fish. This fish, called the jawfish, swims around the
octopus and tries to take advantage of its strategy of protection.
It is of course very interesting that an octopus with no wisdom and
consciousness imitates a fish to defend itself, but what is more
interesting is the existenceof a fish, which knows andtakes advantage
of this characteristic of the octopus. Our Lord reminds us once more
the perfect creation of His Self with these examples, which require
wisdom. In one verse it is revealed as such:
" Allah is the Creator of everything and He is Guardian over
everything. ." (Surat az-Zumar, 62)/

ISLAMIC ARTICLE -:- Lead the Way

Do you want to see something different in the world? Show it. Do you
want to see things moving in a better direction? Then get stepping and
walk it, and I guarantee that otherswill follow, because they have
seen the problems as well, and they are waiting for someone to lead
the way.
Do you want to be a betterMuslim, father, mother, son, daughter,
sibling, or friend? Then be it. Now is the moment. The past is
prologue leading to this moment.
Are you waiting for someone else to show loveand kindness first? Are
you waiting for someone else to be vulnerable or brave, to put himself
out there, totake the first step, to show the way? There is no someone
else. You are the someone else. You… are… someone.
Le'ts open ourselves to faith, love and kindness. Let's change the way
we move in the world, the way we behave with Allah, the way we treat
people, the way we interact with every person. Let us become
testaments to the power of these transformative behaviors, not through
our words but through our actions. Let's express a new sincerity from
our hearts and walk through the world like believers. Let's become
people of Allah, people of Jannah (Paradise), people of imaan (faith),
love and mercy.

Health:- Tips To Help You Control Your blood pressure

1. Make sure your blood pressure is under 140/90 mm Hg. If your
systolic pressure (the top number) is over 140, ask your doctor what
you can do to lower it.
...
2. Take your high blood pressure medicine, if prescribed, every day.
If you have questions, talk to your doctor.
3. Aim for a healthy weight. If you are overweight or obese, carrying
this extra weight increases your risk of high blood pressure. One way
todetermine if you need to lose weight is to find out your body mass
index or BMI. If your BMI is above the healthy range (i.e., 25 or
greater), or if your waist measurement is greater than 35 inches
(women) or 40 inches (men) you probably have excess abdominal weight
and youmay benefit from weight loss especially if you have other risk
factors. Talk to your doctor to see if you are at increased risk for
high blood pressure and need to
lose weight.
4. Increase your physical activity. Do at least 30 minutes of moderate
activity, such as walking, most days of the week. You can do 30
minutes in three 10-minute segments.
5. Choose foods low in salt and sodium. Most Americans should
consumeno more than 2.4 grams (2,400 milligrams) of sodium a day. That
equals 6 grams, about
one teaspoon of table salt a day. For someone with high blood
pressure, the doctor may advise less.
6. Read nutrition labels. Almost all packaged foods contain sodium.
Every time you prepare or eat a packaged food, know how much sodium is
in oneserving.
7. Keep a sodium diary. Youmay be surprised at how much sodium you
consumeeach day and the diary will help you decide which foods to
decrease or eliminate.
8. Use spices and herbs instead of salt to season the food you prepare at home.
9. Eat more fruits, vegetables, grains, and low-fat dairy foods.
10. If you consume alcohol at all, consume moderate amounts. For men,
this is less than two 12 oz servings of beer, or two 5 oz glasses of
wine, or two 1 1/2 oz
servings of"hard"alcohol a day. Women or lighter weight people should
havenot more than a single serving of any one of thesebeverages in a
given day/

Health:- Third of malaria drugs 'are fake

India launches new malaria drug
A third of malaria drugs used around the world tostem the spread of
the disease are counterfeit, data suggests.
Researchers who looked at 1,500 samples of seven malaria drugs from
seven countries in South East Asiasay poor-quality and fake tablets
are causing drug resistance and treatment failure.
Data from 21 countries in sub-Saharan Africa including over 2,500 drug
samples showed similar results.
Experts say The Lancet Infectious Diseases research is a "wake-up call".
The US researchers from the Fogarty International Center at the
National Institutes of Health who carried out the work believe the
problem may even be much greater thandata suggests.
"Most cases are probably unreported, reported to the wrong agencies,
or kept confidential by pharmaceutical companies," say the
researchers.
No large studies of drug quality have been carried out in China or
India - countries that house a third of the world's population and are
a"probable" source of many counterfeit drugs as well asgenuine
antimalarial medicines, they say.
Lead researcher Gaurvika Nayyar stressed that 3.3 billion people were
at risk of malaria, which is classified as endemic in 106 countries.
"Between 655,000 and 1.2 million people die every year from Plasmodium
falciparum infection," he said.
"Much of this morbidity and mortality could be avoided if drugs
available to patients were efficacious, high quality, and used
correctly."
In parts of the world wheremalaria is prevalent, antimalarial drugs
are widely distributed and self-prescribed, both correctly and
incorrectly, say the researchers.
The study found there are insufficient facilities to monitor the
quality of antimalarial drugs and poor consumer and health-worker
knowledge about the therapies.
And there is a lack of regulatory oversight of manufacturing and
little punitive action for counterfeiters.
Despite this, malaria mortality rates have fallen by more than 25%
globallysince 2000, and by 33% in the WHO African Region.
But the World Health Organization says maintaining current rates of
progress will not be enough to meet global targets for malaria
control.
It is calling for renewed investment in diagnostic testing, treatment,
and surveillance for malaria/
