A report that recently appeared on various web sites such as the BBC,
Science, Scientific American, Discover and CBS claimed that "inanimate
prions evolved." This utterly illogical claim was portrayed as a
major scientific discovery in the reports in question, and statements
liberally adorned with scientific terminology were laid out one after
the other just as they were established fact. As always, the aim was
to deceive the majority of people with no knowledge of what prions
actually are, usingconfusing language and accounts.
The subject of the origin of life is a declaration of the most
comprehensive and fundamental Darwinist collapse. At thesame time,
since the subject represents the greatest evidence of the Darwinist
defeat, it is one that Darwinists are quite helpless in the faceof.
They have long been looking for a way of overcoming this hopeless
situation, at least in their own eyes. Those Darwinists who have for
years claimed that viruses evolved, something that has repeatedly been
disproved, are now trying to use "prions," inanimate structures far
smaller than viruses, as evidence for their false theories. The
invalidity of this claim can be summarized as follows:
Prions, in brief, are very small structures containing protein.
Theyare entirely inanimate solong as they are not present in the human
cell. When prions enter acell, they may either be harmless or else
cause various diseases. Mad Cow Disease is one of those that develops
in this way. Although prions are generally compared to viruses, they
are actually quite different. Unlike viruses, prions possess no DNA,
which determines the structure of proteins andenzymes and this
regulates form and development. They are at least 100 times
smallerthan even the smallest virus.
In the same way that viruses do not evolve, neither do prions.
Darwinists have for years heralded the changes they have brought about
in the structures of viruses as evidence for evolution and have sought
to use them as proof of the origin of life. The fact is, however, that
as all Darwinist scientists know perfectly well, viruses are not
negatively affected by mutations since they do not have a living
structure. In the same way, mutations in viruses do not improve them,
either. No virus has ever turned into another structure as the result
of mutations, and has never come into possession of organelles.Viruses
damage and kill the cells they enter, but they never bestow on those
cells any new or improving genetic information. Viruses have been
viruses for millions of years, and have never changed over those
millions of years, despite all the countless mutations theyhave been
subjected to.
Having suffered a huge defeat when it came to viruses, Darwinists are
now trying to use prions, which contain nogenetic data, as evidence
for their false claims. But this claim contains even greater
impossibilities. Prion proteins are synthesized according to the
genetic data present in the chromosomes in the cellsthey enter. It is
thereforeimpossible for prions to survive in the absence ofa cell. It
is obviously totally illogical to make any claims about evolution
regarding a totally inanimate entity with no DNA. Prions are
synthesized and folded up inside a cell in the same way that proteins
are. They have now power to survive or change on their own.
The Spread Of Disease Is Not Evolution
Sometimes, when sickly prion proteins encounter healthy ones, a number
of reactions take place. As a result, the disease infects the healthy
prions, and newly manufactured prions become carriers of the disease.
This is thespread of the disease. If diseased prion proteins in the
brain are taken and transferred into another tissue, they will affect
the healthy prion proteins in that tissue and make them diseased, as
well. Because of their despair,Darwinists try to depict this spread of
disease as evidence for their claims. But there is no question of any
mutation or evolution here; all there is, is the spread of prion
disease.
The claim that prion proteins resemble viruses in this regard is
similarly a deception. Viruses replicate by directly interfering with
the genetic data in the cell nucleus. Disease-bearing prion proteins,
on the other hand, do not replicate by directly acting on genetic
data. They merely damage thestructures of healthy prion proteins and
makethem diseased, as well. This is not evolution; all it is, is a
healthy prion protein becoming a diseased one. (As we have already
made clear, such activities on the part of viruses are not evolution.)
The way a prion protein will be synthesized is encoded in the genes in
the 20 th chromosome in the human cell. In other words, Almighty Allah
has created the cell together with the information by which the
protein in it will be synthesized. Darwinists are unable to account
for even the smallest part of this information encoded in the cell.
Darwinists are unable to explain how a single protein within the cell
emerged. Darwinists make the most shameless claims about prion
proteins, BUT HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO EXPLAIN HOW THE PRION PROTEIN CAME
INTO BEING.
Therefore, the Darwinist idea that "we have proved evolution without
DNA" is nonsense and an expression of total despair, a huge deception.
In order to beable to make such a claim, Darwinists first have to be
able to show how protein and DNA came into being. SINCE THEY CAN NEVER
DO THAT, AND SINCE A SINGLE PROTEIN LEAVES THEM UTTERLY ROUTED , they
rely on deception instead. This is another example of the two-faced
technique Darwinists have been employing for the last 150 years.
The elimination of Darwinism by science has left the adherents of
Darwinism in a wretchedstate. Darwinist publications' despairing
wriggling documents the end of this superstitious religion.
Darwinists' attempts to prove anything through prions, proteins and
DNAmerely makes them a laughing stock. The glorious and artistic
existence of life will always defeat the followers of this heretical
religion. OUR LORD ALLAH IS MIGHTY AND MAGNIFICENT ENOUGH SO THAT A
SINGLEDETAIL IN HIS SUBLIME CREATION DEMOLISHES EVERYTHING MAINTAINED
BY SUPERSTITION.
We did not create heaven and Earth and everything between them to no
purpose. That is the opinion of those who do not believe. (Surah Sad,
27)/-

Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Those who seek to depict Muslims as shedders of blood are mistaken; Islam is a religion of affection, compassion and love
In recent times in particular, some Christians have been making a
number of unrealistic claims regarding Muslims. These people depict
Muslims as bloodthirsty and oppressive individuals, using specific
incidents as evidence, in their own eyes at least, even though this is
all a very far cry from the true facts. They interpret, in their own
eyes, the oppressive system that manifests itself in a number of areas
of the world and that various forces unjustly seek to ascribe to
Islam, in disfavor of the Islam faith. They try to give a totally
different impression of the Islam revealed in the Qur'an, citing
various wars that took place out of necessity in the past, in which
Muslims were obliged to defend themselves. This is a grave and
groundless calumny. The people in question are unacquainted with
Islam, are unaware of the true face of those who perpetrate cruelty in
the name of Islam andare unable to evaluate the state of affairs in
question in a healthy and rational manner.
The people who make this claim imagine that itis genuine Muslims who
abide by the Qur'an that spread terror in the name of Islam. The fact
is, however, that they have nothing to do with the Qur'an or Islam.
The great majority of the well-known terrorist leaders today are
intelligence agents who have been trained for purposes of
provocation. These are members of well-known intelligence agencies in
America and Europe and receive theirinstructions directly from those
intelligence organizations. All these people have received a Darwinist
and materialist education. They are people who areunable to properly
appreciate Allah, who fail to live by the true Islamic moral values
commanded by Him, who live far removed from the fine, warm and loving
moral values of our Prophet (saas) and have fallen under Darwinist
indoctrination . They are people who have agreed on the errors of
Darwinism, thatconflict is the only road to progress and that violence
and oppression are essential components of life. The fact they may
appear to be Muslims, belong to any Muslim country or that their
identity documents state they are Muslims does not alter that fact.
These people live on an entirely Darwinist world view. This is how
they evaluate the people around them: according to the errors they
have accepted "human beingsare slightly more developed animals; they
have no souls personal identities or responsibilities. In any animal
community, the weak must be weeded out and eliminated."
The terrorist leaders in question are actually people raised to be
"spoiled and faddish" in a manner far removed from Islamic moral
values in America and various European countries, who are always in
the night clubs, have an atheist mindset and have embraced the
negative and degenerate aspects of Western culture. It needs to be
stated here that one may have led allkinds of different lifestyles
before beginning to live by the moral values of the religion, and that
is not something to be criticized. One may hope for Allah's
forgiveness for these errors if one genuinely repents and turns to
belief in Him. But it is different with the people in question. When
the time comes forthese people to go to work, they grow beards and
start work looking like Ahl al-Sunnah (thoseMuslims who believe
andlive according to the Qur'an). They receive their orders from the
aforesaid intelligence agencies under atheist masonic control and
unhesitatingly carry out the requisite actions. They have nothing to
do with Islam. Their religionis not Islam, but Darwinism, materialism.
It is impossible for sincere Ahl al-Sunnah (Muslims who fully abideby
the Qur'an) to support and be a part of such a repressive system that
exists in opposition to the Qur'an. The peoplewho carry out this
oppression in the world are the followers of Ibni Miskeveyh, the
Darwinists, materialists, socialist sympathizers and admirers of
Stalin, Che, Lenin, Mussolini, Hitler and Mao of this world. They are
people who foolishly attempt toapply the aberrant ideas of bloody
materialists, communists and fascists in the name of Islam, and who
think in a way diametrically opposed tothe moral values of the
religion.
That is how this tyrannic system that certain circles unjustly try to
impute to Islam works. Some Muslims may claim that this tyrannic
system carried out in the name of Islam was never actually a reality
and seek to deny it completely. But the correct thing is not to deny
these actions, but rather for them to be described as the actions of
mason-supported atheist intelligence agents in order, in their own
eyes, to neutralize Islam across the world (surely Islam is beyond
that), and to make it clear that such actions are very definitely
forbidden in Islam .
In making these allegations against Muslims, the Christians inquestion
ignore one very important point. As is known in history the USA
caused the deaths oftens of thousands of people by dropping atom bombs
on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There were also Muslims,Christians and Jews
among those people. And children, and old people, and innocent men and
women. But the Islamic world never sought to lay the blame for this
action perpetrated by the U.S. government on Christianity. In the same
way, thousands of Muslims were barbarically slaughtered during the
attacks whichwere openly called the Crusades, and even Christians
belonging to other sects were tortured to death. And mosques were
pillaged as well as the churches. The blood that has recently been
shed in Iraq, Afghanistan and other Muslim countries was Muslim blood.
But Muslims have never usedthis as grounds for saying that people who
live by the Gospel are killers. Any sane person can see that
irreligion always reigns anywhere in which oppression is taking place.
Indeed, rational Muslims who abide by the Qur'an and believe in Allah
never hold Christians responsible for the massacres in question. That
is not something that anyone who genuinely believes in Allah could do.
It is now time for those Christians who make the unpleasant
allegations concerning Muslims in question to abandon these erroneous
ideas and habits. Ignorance generally plays a large role in these
claims. Thatis why our Christian brothers must read the Qur'an with an
unbiasedeye, study the life of our Prophet (saas) and consider the
works, lives, ideas and activitiesof pure believers who live by the
moral values of Islam. It is clear that there is no room for violence
in Islam. According to the Qur'an, war is only possible for defensive
purposes, when property, lives or virtue are in danger. Buteven then,
Muslims never go to excess, and have a responsibility to treat the
captives they take kindly, even give their prisoners food while they
themselves go hungry, to establish peace without delay andto protect
civilians and the innocent. It is clear from the life our
Prophet(saas) the kind of behavior in this regard that Islam demands.
Throughout the 13 yearsthey lived in Mecca our Prophet (saas) and the
Companions were subjected to terrible duress, attacks and slanders;
they were forced to leave their homes and threatened with death. But
they never resorted to violence despite all this aggression and
oppression. When the oppression in Mecca increased, they migratedto
Medina, and during the Medina period they only engaged in wars that
were unavoidable and for defensive purposes. For example, the Battle
of Bedir began when the Meccan pagans gathered their armies and
attacked the Muslims, intending to martyr them. At Hendek the Muslim
erected obstacles around the cityin order to protect themselves, and
the fighting was purely defensive. In short, the wars in the past were
all unavoidable and defensive, the result of direct and ferocious
attacks by pagans. None was an offensive war.
Someone who sees and grasps the depth of the Qur'an can also easily
see that there is nothing but forgiveness in it. TheQur'an says that
Muslims must not go to extremes in war, and that they must stop
fighting whenthe community they are at war with does so:
Fight in the Way of Allah against those who fight you, but do not go
beyond the limits. Allah does not love those who go beyond the limits.
(Surat al-Baqara, 190)
But if they cease, Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surat
al-Baqara, 192)
The Qur'an also recommends that prisoners of war be forgiven and
freed. Allahtells us in the Qur'an thatis it better to forgive people,
even if murder has been committed. Muslims' responsibility, according
to the Qur'an, is always to do what is best for Allah's approval.
Since Allah regards forgiveness as best, evenin the case of murder,
that is what Muslims need to do. Islam is a religion of affection,
compassion, peace and love. Those who seek to give a different
impression of Islam should abandon that behavior forthwith.
(From Mr. Adnan Oktar's live interview on Kanal 9TV and Kral Karadeniz
TV,January 9 th , 2009)
Presenter: A few days ago 6 Coptic Christians were killed in Egypt in
a drive-by shooting while leaving the church. All the media in the
West started to cover this story in a negative way since the incident
took place in a Muslim country. The Egyptian government does not make
a declaration about the issue. What doyou think about this subject?
Adnan Oktar: Recently some of our Christian friends, brothers are keen
to show Muslims in the history and also today as blood shedders, cruel
people who cause trouble, who flout the laws, rights and democracy.
They are giving examples from the wars in history. If wewere to give
examples from the wars in the past—especially our American Protestant
brothers, Evangelicals speak so—they murdered tens of thousands of
people in Hiroshima in an instant. They killed tens of thousands of
people in Nagasaki in an instant. There were also Muslims,Christians
there. People from all religions. So in accordance which law was this
carried out? Right? They shed blood in numerous countries. They shed
blood in Afghanistan and Iraq. With which law were those done? Right?
No Muslim interpreted these incidents as; "This is how those abiding
by the Gospel are, they are blood shedders." We said, " This is the
spirit of[atheist] freemasonry, a requisite of being a [atheist]
mason. Those disbelievers who are neither Muslims nor Christians
committed it." In no way did we attribute it to Christianity. Let me
correct the word "attribute it", may Allah forgive me, let me say, "We
did not hold Christianity responsible for it." Consequently, it would
be erroneous for our Christian friends to hold Islam responsible when
an incident happens; they have to abandon that habit.
Alright, there is war in the Qur'an, but it is as a self defense, when
you, your possessions, security and honor is under attack. That is to
say, someone has entered one's house, there is a raid with weapons,
rifles. They had knocked the glasses-frames down and fired bullets.
What can a man do in such case? Shall he bring them into court? What
should he do? If heattempted to escape, he would fail. Right? What
should be the action? To save one's life, defending one's self. There
are things to do while defending one's self; for instance, people
first open fire to the air, they threaten, open fire to the air, if
these measures prove to be ineffective, they try to stop the
perpetrator by injuring him but in a way not to cause suffering or
killing him. This is self-defense. Is there any other way of doing it?
Is there any other way in the case of a sudden attack? Since he can
not escape. So what is to blame or to see as a fault here?
In those periods, Muslimswere under enormous pressure, under great
cruelty. They were beingput in pits and burnt with petrol. What
shouldbe done? What should he do? There is a mid-night raid. They come
with swords, maces and spears. Were they to say ; "Welcome, let us
serve you some tea? " What should they tell? Of course they defend
themselves. Meanwhile, there may be loss of lives during this defense.
This is not something abnormal because the other party has already
come to takeyour life. It is very difficult to defend oneself without
harmingthe other side at that moment, during a mass attack. You can
not say, "Let me just make him faint and deactivate him." In the
conditions of the time, there wasn'ta mean to knock someone out
anyway. What can they do? Consequently, it is very erroneous to blame
and criticize Muslims. They should criticize themselves. There is not
the slightest error in what is done in the time of our Prophet (pbuh).
None of them are wars of attack.
Oktar Babuna: As you know better insha'Allah, there is also a
disproportion in the numbers [of the armies].
Adnan Oktar: And everything is aimed at forgiving. For instance
All-Mighty Allah says, "but do not go beyond the limits", "if they
stop, you also stop", "release the captives, behave well to the
captives." What a perfect explanation. What a humanistic
interpretation. In case ofa murder, for instance, notice that this is
a murder, Allah says that there is the right for retaliation. Normally
the penalty for murder is execution. However Allah says, "It is more
auspicious for you if youforgive". Since a Muslim would always choose
to forgive, which is more auspicious, so what? Don't we see here the
highest form of compassion, love and mercy? What is the meaning of
forgiving an enormous cruelty such as murder? Allah relates, "It is
more auspicious foryou if you forgive." Consequently Islam is a
religion of love, mercy and compassion. But thisalso holds true for
Gospel and Torah. Even in its distorted form, it has preserved these
beautiful features.
Consequently they will abandon trying to provoke Muslims, murdering,
acting despotically and attributing an incident perpetrated by a few
psychopaths to Muslims. This is very erroneous.
Besides when we look atthe murderers, we see that they were
educatedeither in Britain or America and undergone Darwinist and
materialist education. Someone with a sufistic manner, someone
sensible, or let us think about a follower of Risale-i Nur , has
anyone seen a follower of Risale-i Nur whose name has been involved in
a murder in any corner of the world?
Oktar Babuna : No one has seen, insha'Allah.
Adnan Oktar: Let alone murder, has anyone seen such a person injuring
someone? Thereare millions of followers of Risale-i Nur , and they, in
no way, commit it. Forinstance a Sufi, a member of a religious order;
there are, for instance, Shazinis and Nakhshibendis abroad. Do we ever
see them committing such an act? Or a Fiqh scholar, a scholar who has
undergone an Ahl al-Sunnah education. Have we ever seen such a scholar
committing such an act? In no way. Who are the people that we see
committing such acts? Those followers of Ibn Miskhawayh, those
Darwinists, materialists, advocates of evolution who have sympathy for
socialism, admirers of Che, Ho Shi Minh, those trying to reconcile the
views of Lenin with Islam, those people suffering from inferiority
complex. Consequently they need to discriminate between them. We mean
the genuine Muslims. A genuine Muslim is always full of compassion,
mercy and love.

Adnan Oktar: Let alone murder, has anyone seen such a person injuring
someone? Thereare millions of followers of Risale-i Nur , and they, in
no way, commit it. Forinstance a Sufi, a member of a religious order;
there are, for instance, Shazinis and Nakhshibendis abroad. Do we ever
see them committing such an act? Or a Fiqh scholar, a scholar who has
undergone an Ahl al-Sunnah education. Have we ever seen such a scholar
committing such an act? In no way. Who are the people that we see
committing such acts? Those followers of Ibn Miskhawayh, those
Darwinists, materialists, advocates of evolution who have sympathy for
socialism, admirers of Che, Ho Shi Minh, those trying to reconcile the
views of Lenin with Islam, those people suffering from inferiority
complex. Consequently they need to discriminate between them. We mean
the genuine Muslims. A genuine Muslim is always full of compassion,
mercy and love.

Living the Quran
Allaah The Exalted Says (what means): {It was the month of Ramadhaan
in which the Quran was [first] sent down as guidancefor all people,
having [in it] clear proofs of [Divine] guidance and the criterion.}
[Quran 2:185]
Since that first Ramadhaan revelation, believers the world over and
across history have drawn nearer to Allaah Almighty, rejuvenated their
faith, found their purpose in life, saved their souls from hellfire,
and found thekey to eternal happiness in Paradise with their Beloved
Lord through the Quran.
Almost exactly 1,433 years ago, the Beloved Messenger of Allaah
commenced his journey form Makkah to Madeenah and laid thefoundations
of the greatest community of believers ever to have lived. Among the
foundations of that Community of men and women was a radiantand
vibrant faith in Allaah Almighty, unflinching love for His Prophet and
brotherhood andsacrifice for each other. These virtues were implanted
in their souls by the Prophet through the guidance of the Quran. The
foundation of that Community was the Quran. The Word of God was what
that blessed Community stood for.
Allaah's speeches, delivered and explained to them by His impeccable
Messenger had created and nurtured that community in Makkah for the
previous 13 years. In the second year of Hijrah or shortly afterward,
the verses about fasting were revealed that eventually made the
fasting of the month of Ramadhaan an obligation. Just like all other
foundational markers and rituals of that blessed Community, the month
of fasting was connected to the Quran.
The pillar of Islam prior to fasting, that of Prayer, was also built
around the Quran. The Prophet and his followers prayed from the very
beginning of his blessed call, and read Quran in it. The five regular
prayers had been revealed toward the end of Makkan life (in the year
10 or 12 of prophethood)at the occasion of the Prophet's Ascension
(Mi`raaj) to Heaven. TheQuran had already alluded to the number of
obligatory prayers, their times, and content, and the Prophet had
given them their final form by way of instruction from the Archangel
Gabriel.
The month of fasting was designed, in the wisdom of Allaah, to
celebrate the Quran in adifferent way, but one which complemented the
prayer. While the regular prayers set the tone and the rhythm of the
daily life ofthe believers, Ramadhaan would challenge them and all
their spiritual descendants to soar even higher in their worship and
remembrance of their Creator, and specifically to rejuvenate thatdaily
routine of prayer.
Allaah, Most High, is, of course, allaware of His servants, whose
habitual practices inevitably become monotonous. Thus the heart rusts.
Feelings mellow. Intellectual acuity in the form of spiritual
understanding clouds over. Hence, perspectives blur. The journey of
faith begins to seem long and uneventful from day to day. Impulsive
and short-sighted— "Man has been created from haste" [Quran 21:37]—the
human being is nonetheless capable of rising to great heights, provided
he is prompted with proper reminders that hold his attention to his
task and path. For no matter how great the reward, how high the
stakes, when the human heart loses sight of its purpose and road, it
gives up the struggle. It needs peaks from where to see the end
clearly, oases wherefrom to fill up on hope in order to gain the
stamina required to cross the many difficult vales along the way.
The Month of Ramadhaan provides that climax, that summit, that
viewpoint. It comeswith intense physical training. But its soul is the
Quran. It is onlyas good as the closeness to the Quran—both spiritual
and intellectual—that one attains in it.
Without exemplifying the meanings of the Quran, without pondering its
signs, and rethinking the whole life in a coherent way through it,
Ramadhaan becomes empty. That is why the Prophet has tied fasting and
the Quran together as the two intercessors on the Day of Judgment: The
Prophet said: "Fasting and theQuran will intercede on behalf of the
servant on the Day of Resurrection. Fasting will say: `O Lord! I
prevented him from food and satisfying his desires during the day.
Therefore, do Thou makemean intercessor for him.' The Quran will say:
`I prohibited him from sleeping at night, therefore,do Thou make me an
intercessor for him.' Thus shall they intercede'" [Ahmad]
An intervening plea, then: Let us both strive, then, you and I, to
make this Ramadhaan truly the month of the Quran, a month in which we
transcend the monotony of life and reach a newlevel of faith and
bliss. For we know not how many Ramadhaan peaks we have left before
our way ends./-

Praising Allaah – II
When wearing a new garment:
Whenever the Prophet used wear a new garment, he would say:
"Allaahumma lakal-hamdu Anta kasawtaneeh, as'aluka min khayrihi wa
khayri maa suni'a lah, wa a'oothu bika min sharrihi wa sharri maa
suni'alah (O Allaah, for You is all praise, You have clothed me with
it (i.e. the garment), I ask You for the good of it and the good for
which it was made, and I seek refuge with You from the evil of it and
the evil for which it was made.)" This is said because each garment
could be worn for something good or something evil. For example, one
could wearit to show off, and a woman could wear a garment to expose
her beauty, both of which cases are evil. On the other hand, one could
wear it to adorn himself before going to the mosque as a Muslim is
commanded to do, in such case one's garment is a source of goodness
for him.
After eating or drinking:
The Prophet used different wordings and phrases to praise Allaah after
eating or drinking, asin the following narrations: Mu`aath ibn Anas
reported that the Messenger of Allaah said: "He who has taken food
andsays at the end: `Alhamdu lillaahi al-lathi at`amani haathaa, wa
razaqaneehi min ghayri hawlin minni wa laa quwwah (All praise is due
to Allaah Who has given me food to eat and provided it without any
endeavor on my partor any power), all his past sins will be forgiven."
[At-Tirmithi]. Abu Umaamah reported:"Whenever the Prophet finished a
meal, he would say: "Al-hamdulillaah hamdan katheeran taiyyiban
mubaarakan feehi, ghayra makffiyyin wa laa muwadda`in, wa laa
mustaghnan`anhu, rabbuna. (All praise is due to Allaah, praise which
is abundant, pure, and full of blessings, which is indispensable and
to which one cannot be indifferent)." [Al-Bukhaari]
Upon going to bed:
Whenever the Prophet would go to bed, he used to remember the bounties
of Allaah upon him (which is something that most people are heedless
of nowadays)and then praise Allaah. Anas reported: "Whenever the
Prophet went to his bed, he would say: "Al-hamdulillaah al-lathi
at`amanaa wa saqaanaa, wa kafaanaa wa aawaanaa, fakam mimman laa
kaafiya lahu wa laa mu'wiya (Praise is due to Allaah Who has fed us,
provided us drink, satisfied us and gave us protection. Many are those
who have no one to provide for them, or give them shelter)." [Muslim].
Upon returning from Hajj or 'Umrah:
During his journeys he never forgot to praise Allaah. Ibn `Umar
reported: "During the return journey of the Prophet from Hajj or
`Umrah whenever he ascended a height or hill, he would recite thrice:
"Allaahu Akbar (Allaah is The Greatest)" Then he would say: "Laa
ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku, wa
lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa `alaa kulli shay'in Qadeer. Aayiboona taa'iboona
`aabidoona li rabbinaahaamidoon. Sadaq-Allaahu wa`dahu, wa nasara
`abdahu, wa hazamal-ahzaaba wahdahu (Nonehas the right to be
worshipped except Allaah, Who has no partner, to Whom the sovereignty
belongs, to Whom allpraise is due, and Who is Able to do all things.
We are those who return (in safety), feel penitence, worship Allaah,
prostrate before our Lord and praise Him. Allaah has fulfilled His
Promise, helped His slave (i.e., Muhammad ) and He Alone vanquished
the Clans)." [Al-Bukhaari & Muslim].
During the Talbiyah for Hajj:
It is the Sunnah that one utters Talbiyah whilst in the state of
Ihraam for Hajj, saying: "Labbaykallaahumma labbayk, labbayka laa
shareeka laka labbayk, innal-hamda wanni'mata laka wal-mulk, laa
shareeka lak. (Here I am O Allaah, (in response to Your call), here I
am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise,
grace and sovereignty belong to You. You have no partner.)"
During the imploration for rain:
One of the great prayers to perform is when imploring for rain.
'Aai'shah reported: "Thepeople complained to the Messenger of Allaah
of the lack of rain, so he gave an order for a pulpit. It was then
setup for him in the place of prayer. He fixed a day for the people on
which they should come out. When the rim of the sun appeared, the
Messenger of Allaah sat down on the pulpit, and having pronounced the
greatness of Allaah and expressed His praise, he said: "You have
complained of drought in your homes, and of the delay in receiving
rain at the beginning of its season. Allaah has ordered you to
supplicate Him and promised that He will answer your prayer." Then he
said: "Praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the Universe, the
Compassionate, the Merciful, the Master of the Day of Judgment. There
is none worthy of worship but Allaah Who does what He wishes. O
Allaah! You are Allaah, there is no deity but You, the Rich, while we
are the poor. Senddown the rain upon us and make what You send down a
strength and satisfaction for a time." He , then raised his hands, and
kept raising them till the whiteness under his armpits was visible. He
then turned his back to the people and inverted or turned round his
cloak while keeping his hands aloft. He then faced the people,
descended and prayed two Rak'ahs. Allaah then produced a cloud, and
the storm of thunder and lightning came on. Then the rain fell by
Allaah's permission, and before he reached his mosque, streams were
flowing. When he saw the speed with which the people were seeking
shelter, he laughed till his back teeth were visible. Then he said: "I
testify that Allaah is Omnipotent and that I am Allaah's servant and
apostle." [Abu Daawood].
Encouraging the Praise of Allaah and thanking Him during all times:
Do not be heedless of the praise of Allaah and mention Him frequently,
and remember that one should praise Allaah and thank Him during all
situations. Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger of Allaah said:
"A man (from amongst the people before you) said: `Indeed! I will give
in charity.' So he took his charity out and placed it in a thief's
hand. In the morning the people were talking (about this incident) and
saying: `Charity wasgiven to a thief last night.' The man said: `O
Allaah! Praise be to You. I have given charity to a thief. Indeed, I
will give in charity!` So he took his charity out and he placed it in
a prostitute's hand. In the morningthe people were talking (about this
incident) and saying: `Charity was given to a prostitute last night.'
On hearing this, the man said: `Praise be to You, O Allaah! I gave
charity to a prostitute. Indeed, I will give in charity!` So he took
his charity out and placed it in a rich man's hand. In the morning the
people were talking (about this incident) and saying: `Charity was
given to a rich man last night.' The man said: `O Allaah! Praise be to
You (for helping me) give charity to a thief, a prostitute and a rich
man.` Then he had a dream in which he was told that his charity to the
thief might result in his refraining from his theft, his charity to
the prostitute might help her abstain from her immorality, and his
charity to therich man might help him pay heed and spend from what
Allaahhad bestowed upon him." [Al-Bukhaari]
When this man from the children of Israel accepted the decree of
Allaah and was content with it and praised Allaah in all situations
and thanked Him, Allaah rewarded him abundantly for these three
charities he spent out. This is because we should deal with people
according to what appears from their conditions and leave their
intentions to Allaah for judgment.
Furthermore, Allaah rewards the one who is content with great rewards.
Abu Moosaa Al-Ash`ari reported that the Messenger of Allaah said:
"When a man's child dies, Allaah, the Exalted, asks His angels: `Have
you taken out the life of the child of My slave?` and they reply in
the affirmative. He (Exalted be He) then asks: `Have you taken the
fruit of his heart?` and they reply in the affirmative. Thereupon He
asks: `What did my slave say?` They say: `He praised You and said:
Innaa Lillaahi Wa Innaa Ilayhi Raaji'oon (We belong to Allaah and to
Him we shall return).` Allaah says: `Build a house for my slave in
Paradise and name it Baytul-Hamd (the House of Praise).`"

texts in the Quran and the Sunnah indicate the virtue of praising
Allaah and that it is whatthe dwellers of Paradise will say upon
entering Paradise .
The Prophet used to praise Allaah during all times. Furthermore,
supplications - which included the praise of Allaah - before and after
many actions have been reported on his behalf . He used to praise
Allaah after eating, drinking, wearing a new garmentand returning from
a journey. He also would praise Allaah during pilgrimage and upon
receiving good news or sad news. Thus weMuslims must praise Allaah
during all situations in order to attain the great reward of praising
Him.
The virtue of praising Allaah as mentioned in the Quran:
There are many acts of worship which people fail to perform despite
the great reward they yield and despite them being veryeasy to
perform. Allaah rewards for some simple acts abundantly, because He is
The Most Generous and The Beneficent, and regardless how much Allaah
gives, what He possesses will never decrease.
We must perform as many deeds as possible in order to be rescuedon the
Day of Judgment and reach our destination safely. One of the greatest
deeds to perform is mentioning Allaah, and it has many types, the best
of which is that done with the tongue and is connected to the heart.
This is when a person mentions Allaah and ponders upon what he is
saying, and praising Allaah is one such form of mention. Allaah is to
be praised in all situations as He is the only One worthy of praise.
Allaah praised Himself in many places in the Quran and He commanded us
to praise Him. The dwellers of Paradise will praise Allaah as Allaah
informs ussaying (what means): "…And the last of their call will be,
`Praise to Allaah, Lord of the worlds!`" [Quran 10: 10]
And also (what means): "… Praise to Allaah, Who has fulfilled for us
His promise." [Quran 39: 74]
And also (what means): "…Praise to Allaah, Who has removed fromus
[all] sorrow." [Quran 35: 34]
Praising Allaah is a great act of worship that reflects the slave's
contentment and submission to the Decrees of Allaah.
Praising Allaah is a phrase which will fill the slave's scale on the
Day of Judgment. The Prophet said: "The best type of supplication is
(saying): `Al-Hamdulillaah` (All Perfect praise be to Allaah)".
'Aa'ishah said: "The Messenger of Allaah recited frequently in bowing
and prostration: "Subhaanaka Rabbanaa wa bihamdika, Allaahumaghfir lee
. (Far removedYou are from every imperfection, our Lord, and all
praise is for You,forgive me, O Allaah)" . He elucidated that it has
been commanded in the Noble Quran to recite (what means): "So glorify
the Praises of your Lord, and ask for His forgiveness. Verily,He is
the One Who accepts the repentance and Who forgives." [Quran 110: 3]
And he (i.e. the Messenger of Allaah ) acted upon it." [Al-Bukhaari &
Muslim] Allaah commanded us not to forget this mention, namely
praising Him.
The greatest chapter in the entireQuran is Al-Faatihah, and it starts
with the praise of Allaah. The Messenger of Allaah said to Abu Sa`eed
Ibn Al-Mu`allaa : "Shall I teach you the greatest Chapter in the Quran
before you leave the mosque? … It is `Alhamdulillaahi Rabbil-`Aalameen
(i.e., Chapter Al-Faatihah)." [Al-Bukhaari]
The virtue of praising Allaah as mentioned in the Sunnah:
Many texts mentioned this issue to highlight its importance. The
Messenger of Allaah said: "Protect yourselves from Hellfire; say:
`Subhaanallaah, Al-Hamdulillaah, Laa Ilaaha Ilallaah, Allaahu Akbar
(Allaah is free from imperfection; praise be to Allaah; None is worthy
of being worshipped except Allaah; and Allaah is The Greatest).` These
(words) will come on the Day of Judgment preceding the person (who
uttered them in life)and will be behind him, and to his sides."
Meaning they will surround him from all directions as a way of
honoring the person who used to utter them in the worldly life.
Ibn Mas`ood reported that the Messenger of Allaah said: "I met
Ibraaheem on the Night of Ascension (Al-Israa'), andhe said to me: `O
Muhammad, convey my greetings to your nation, and tell them that
Paradise has a vast plain of pure soil and sweet water. It is a plain
leveled land. The plants grow there by uttering: Subhaanallaah,
Al-Hamdulillaah, Laa Ilaaha Illallaah and Allaahu Akbar (Allaahis free
from imperfection; praise be to Allaah; there is no true god except
Allaah; and Allaah is The Greatest)." [At-Tirmithi]
The Messenger of Allaah once said to the companions : "Allaah chose
four phrases for you to utter: `Subhaanallaah, Al-Hamdulillaah, Laa
Ilaaha Ilallaah, Allaahu Akbar (Allaah is free from imperfection;
praise be to Allaah; none is worthy of beingworshipped except Allaah;
and Allaah is The Greatest)` Whoever says 'Subhaanallaah (Allaah is
freefrom imperfection)' will receive twenty rewards and twenty sins
will be expiated from his record. Whoever says 'Allaahu Akbar (Allaah
is The Greatest)' will receive twenty rewards and twenty sins will be
expiated fromhis record. Whoever says 'Laa ilaaha illallaah (None is
worthy of being worshipped except Allaah)'will receive twenty rewards
and twenty sins will be expiated fromhis record. Whoever says
'Al-Hamdulillaah (praise be to Allaah)' will receive thirty rewards
and thirty sins will be expiated from his record." [Ahmad]
We must utilize our time in the mention of Allaah as much as we can,
because it is the easiest thing to do while its outcome is great, it
is the plants of Paradise . It is a very easy profit and an effortless
gain ... but where are those who strive to get it?
Whenever a new bounty is bestowed upon the slave from Allaah, he
should utter the praise of Allaah. The Messenger of Allaah said:
"Allaah never bestows a bounty upon a slave and he praises Allaah, but
the utterance of praise was better for the slave than the bounty
itself . "
Allaah Says (what means): "And if you should count the favor [i.e.
blessings] of Allaah, you could not enumerate them." [Quran 14: 34]
Praising Allaah leads to His pleasures, as in the narration of Anas
who reported that the Messenger of Allaah said: "Allaah will be
pleased with His slave who praises Him (i.e., says Al-Hamdulillaah)
when he eats and praises Him when he drinks." [Muslim]
A true believer praises Allaah in all situations even as his soul is
departing, as the Messenger of Allaah said to Umm Ayman . Why would a
believer praiseAllaah upon his death? This is because he is being
freed from the prison of this worldly life and heading towards the
hoped eternal joyful life in Paradise . One's death is a decree of
Allaah, so a true believer praises Allaah for any Decree that befalls
him. Additionally, a true believer praises Allaah for having enabled
him to utilize this life in His pleasure.
There are many times during which the praise of Allaah is recommended,
and the followingare some examples:
Upon waking up, whilst rising from bowing, during prayer and upon sneezing:
One is amazed when he ponders on the cases were the praise is
recommended. The Prophet taught us that when a person wakes up, he is
encouraged to utter: "Al-Hamdulillaahi Al-Lathee 'Aafaanee Fee Jasadee
Waradda 'Aalayya Roohee (All praise is for Allaah who restored to me
my health and returned my soul)." The Prophet also taught us that when
an Imaam rises from the position of bowing, he should say: "Sami`a
Allaahu limanhamidah (Allaah listened to the one who praised Him)" and
that people should say: "Rabbanaa Walakal-hamdu (Our Lord, for Youis
all praise)" When the Prophet heard a man saying upon rising from
bowing in prayer: "Rabbanaa Walakal-hamdu Hamdan Katheeran Tayyiban
Mubarakan Feeh (Our Lord, for You is all praise, an abundant beautiful
blessed praise)" he said: "The angels were amazed upon hearing this
phrase". Furthermore, when one sneezes, he should praise Allaah
saying: "Al-Hamdulillaah (All praise is for Allaah)."
In the opening of lectures and sermons and after concluding prayers:
Whenever the Prophet used address the people with any issue, he would
open his speech with the praise of Allaah and His glorification.
Likewise, after concluding his prayers, he would praise Allaah thirty
three times.

Dought & clear, - Ruling on wearing shirts with writing on them when praying.
- ●◄ ►● - Published by, M NajimudeeN Bsc - INDIA|®|- - - - *
- Translator:: http://translate.google.com/m/ - ●◄ ►● - > Is
it permissable for us towear shirts which have text on back of it
while praying with the imam.
Praise be to Allaah.
The ruling on wearing clothing on which there are kinds of images,
writing and patterns is subject to further discussion.
Firstly:
If these images are of haraam things, such as pictures of women,
crosses, symbols of nations that are hostile towards Muslims, or
theyare drawings of animatebeings, or images of haraam things such as
alcohol and cigarettes and the like, then it is haraam to wear them in
the first place, and the prohibition on praying in them is even more
emphatic. Because these images are haraam in and of themselves, it is
not permissible to wear garments with them, according to the more
correct of the scholarly opinions.
See the answers to questions no. 10439 and 143709
Secondly:
If these garments do not have any images, but they have some words and
phrases that call to sin, such as the words "Kiss me" or "Follow me",
and so on, or similar words that are used by those who promote
immorality, or words that promote corrupt beliefs, then it is also
haraam to wear them outside of prayer, so wearing it when praying is
even more forbidden. The reason for the prohibition is obvious,
because it involves indecent words and is a visible evil; it is also a
call to evildoing orkufr, and Allah says (interpretation of the
meaning):
"O you who believe! Follow not the footsteps of Shaitân (Satan). And
whosoever follows the footsteps of Shaitân (Satan), then, verily he
commands Al-Fahshâ' [i.e. to commit indecency(illegal sexual
intercourse)], and Al-Munkar [disbelief and polytheism (i.e. to do
evil and wicked deeds; and to speak or to do what is forbidden in
Islâm)]"
[al-Noor 24:21].
Thirdly:
If the garments in which one is praying are free of images or haraam
words, but they have decorations or shapes orother words, the ruling
on them depends:
1.
If they are things that catch the eye and one thinks it most likely
that they will distract the worshippers who see them and make them
think too much about them, then it is makroohto pray in these
garments, because it is proven that the Prophet (blessings and peace
of Allah be upon him) forbade anything that will distract one when
praying, as it says in the hadeeth of 'Aa'ishah (may Allah be pleased
with her):
The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prayed in a
garment that had markings, and he glanced at its markings. When he
finished praying, he said: "Take this garment of mine to Abu Jahm, and
bring me the plain garment of AbuJahm, because it distracted me just
now when I was praying."
The hadeeth was narrated by al-Bukhaari in his Saheeh (373), where he
included it under a chapter heading: If a person prays in a garment
that has markings and looks at its markings. And it was narrated by
Muslim in his Saheeh (556), where Imam al-Nawawi gave it the title:
Chapter: It is makrooh to pray in a garment with markings.
Al-'Allaamah Ibn Daqeeq al-'Eed (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
From this report the fuqaha' deduced that anything that may distract
one from praying of colours, decorations and artifactsis makrooh. The
ruling isgeneral in application because the reason for itis general,
and the reason is distraction during prayer.
End quote from Ihkaam al-Ahkaam, p. 219
Al-Qurtubi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
In this hadeeth we see that there are some reservations about
everything that could distract one in prayer by looking at it.
End quote from al-Mufhim lima Ashkala min Talkhees Muslim, 2/163
Ibn Qudaamah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Everything that may distract the worshipper from his prayer is
makrooh… If the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) –
despite the infallibility and focus in worship that Allah bestowed
upon him – was distracted by that, then it is more likely in the case
of other people.
End quote from al-Mughni, 2/72
Al-Bahooti al-Hanbali (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
It is makrooh to face that which will distract him because it will
keep him from praying properly.
End quote from Kashshaaf al-Qinaa', 1/307
See also the answer to question no. 90097
2.
But if those decorations and words – so long as they are not haraam –
are insignificant and theworshippers will not payattention to them, or
if there are things that people usually have on their clothes in such
a way that they will not distract the one who looks at them, then it
is not makrooh to pray in them because the reasonfor it being makrooh
is not present in this case.
Harb said:
I asked Ishaaq about praying on a cloth – What do you think
aboutpraying on a cloth with green markings and stripes?
He said: It is permissible.
End quote from Fath al-Baari by Ibn Rajab, 2/206
Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
If we assume that the imam will not be distracted by that because he
is blind or because this is something that he has seen many times, to
the extent that he does not care about it or pay any attention to it,
then we think that there is nothing wrong with himpraying on it.
End quote from Majmoo'Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen, 12/362
To sum up: if the shirt asked about includes writing that is not
haraam but it attracts attention and distracts the worshippers who
look at it, then it is makrooh to pray in it in that case, otherwise
it is not makrooh.
But if the writing carries haraam meanings, it is not permissible to
wear it at all, whether outside the prayer or when praying.
And Allah knows best.

Dought & clear, - Praying with tayammum is better than praying with a previous wudoo’ done using water when one isdesperate to relieve oneself.
- ●◄ ►● - Published by, M NajimudeeN Bsc - INDIA|®|- - - - *
- Translator:: http://translate.google.com/m/ - ●◄ ►● - > I
entered the mosque one day and there was water in my house to do
wudoo' for prayer, but I still had my wudoo'. However the need to
relieve myself was pressing and I could not find any water, and I was
afraid that I would miss the prayer in congregation, so I joined the
prayer.
Praise be to Allaah.
Firstly:
It is makrooh for the worshipper to start praying when he is
suppressing the need to defecate or urinate, because the Prophet
(blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade doing that, because
of what it results in of failing to attain complete focus and
contemplation in prayer.
See the answer to question no. 8603
Secondly:
If the worshipper is suppressing the need to urinate or defecate and
he cannot find any water with which to do wudoo', it is better for him
to relieve himself then do tayammum and pray.
His praying with tayammum whilst having proper presence of mind and
focus is better than praying afterdoing wudoo' with water but without
proper focus, because the heart and essence of the prayer is proper
focus (khushoo'), so it is essential to maintain it.
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked:
Which is better: praying with wudoo' whilst suppressing the need to
relieve oneself or to relieve oneself then do tayammum due to lack of
water?
He replied:
Praying with tayammumwithout suppressing the need to relieve oneself
isbetter than praying withwudoo' whilst suppressing the need to
relieve oneself, because praying when suppressing the need to relieve
oneself is makrooh and is not allowed, and there are two opinions
concerning its validity. But praying with tayammum is valid and there
is nothing makrooh in it, accordingto scholarly consensus.
End quote from Majmoo'al-Fataawa, 21/473
Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said: If
someonewere to ask: A man has wudoo' but is suppressing the need to
urinate or pass wind, but if he does so he doesnot have any water
withwhich to do wudoo'. Should we tell him to relieve himself and do
tayammum for prayer, or should we tell him to pray whilst suppressing
the need to urinate or pass wind?
The answer was:
You should tell him to relieve himself and do tayammum; he should not
pray whilst suppressing the need to urinate or pass wind. That is
because praying with tayammum is not makrooh, according to scholarly
consensus, but praying whilst suppressing the need to urinate or pass
wind is not allowed and is makrooh. And some of the scholars regarded
it as haraam and said: Prayer whilst suppressing the need to urinate
or pass wind is not valid, because the Messenger (blessings and peace
of Allah be upon him) said: "There isno prayer in the presence of food
or when suppressing the need to urinate or defecate." End quote from
ash-Sharh al-Mumti', 3/236
So the prayer that you offered is valid, in sha Allah, and you do not
have to repeat it.
And Allah knows best./-

Dought & clear, - Working as a dance teacher for women.
- ●◄ ►● - Published by, M NajimudeeN Bsc - INDIA|®|- - - - *
- Translator:: http://translate.google.com/m/ - ●◄ ►● - > What
is your opinion of a place in which only women work, teaching dance to
women, e.g., ballet and other types of dance, as a hobby and not as a
profession? What is the ruling on money earned from this profession
(dance teacher)? Please note that the training will be done to music.
If this income is haraam, what should one do?
Praise be to Allah.
It is not permissible for aMuslim who lives in a Muslim land to doubt
theprohibition of working in places where women dance, 'awrahs are
uncovered and evil acts are committed. The prohibition on such things
is well known in Islam. If such actions are not haraam, then what is
haraam??
Undoubtedly the one who exposes himself to such actions is only
exposing himself to the anger, wrath and punishment of Allah. How can
he dare to commit sins such as these openly in front of people, and
even help topropagate them, teach them and train others in them, when
he knows deep down that this deed is inspired by the Shaytaan and he
is aware of the abhorrent nature of some Western practices which
involve nakedness and promiscuity. Allah, may He be glorified and
exalted, may give respiteto the evildoers but never lets them off, and
He has prepared a severe punishment for those who propagate immorality
and corruption in the land.
Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):
"Did you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not see (thought) how your
Lord dealt with Ad (people)?
Who were very tall like lofty pillars,
The like of which were not created in the land?
And (with) Thamood (people), who cut (hewed) out rocks in thevalley
(to make dwellings)?
And (with) Firaun (Pharaoh), who had pegs (who used to torture men by
binding them to pegs)?
Who did transgress beyond bounds in the lands (in the disobedience of Allah).
And made therein much mischief.
So your Lord poured on them different kinds of severe torment.
Verily, your Lord is Ever Watchful (over them)."
[al-Fajr 89:6-14].
These matters are very well known in Islam and there is no need to
establish proof concerning them. The one who approves of them or
regards them as permissible is in grave danger; we ask Allah to keep
us and you safe and sound.
As that is the case, the income earned from teaching women how todance
half-naked and from participating in thepromotion of corruptionand sin
in the land is haraam earnings. It is not permissible for him to
consume it or take it or use it; rather he must hasten to repent from
that.
It says in al-Mawsoo'ah al-Fiqhiyyah (23/10-11):
If the dancing is accompanied by something haraam, such as drinking
alcohol, uncovering the 'awrah, and so on, then it is haraam according
to scholarly consensus. There is no difference of opinion among the
fuqaha' that it is not permissible to rent out property for haraam
purposes. As dancing is haraam, it is not permissible to rent out
property for that purposes.
End quote.
Repenting from acquiring wealth that is haraam because of the manner
in which it was acquired is done by giving it up and donating it to
charitable causes. So he should give in charity all of his wealth that
he acquired by haraam means. But there is nothing wrong with him
keeping what was produced from that haraam wealth by means of
permissible trade, or keeping enough to meet his needs until he finds
permissible work from which he can earn a halaal income.

Islamic Stories, - The reward of patienceis praiseworthy
- ●◄ ►● - Published by, M NajimudeeN Bsc - INDIA|®|- - - - *

Hazrat Abu Hasan Siraaj R.A. says: I was performing tawaaf once while
on Haj; when I sawa very pretty woman, shining in her beauty. I looked
at her and said:"By Allah, this beauty and fine complexion must surely
be because she never experienced any grief or sorrow."
When I said this she overheard me and said:"Sir, it is that what you
think? By Allah, I am bent down under all the sorrows and grief that
have come my way. My heart and mind is filled with so much grief and
all along there has been no one can who share these with me."
I asked: "And how is that, lady?"
She replied: "My husband once slaughtered a goat as a Qurbaani
offering, whileI was breast feeding my infant child. My two young sons
were playingaround me. When I wentto cook the meat, the one son said
to the other: 'Come, let me show you how father slaughtered the goat.'
The other said: 'Well show me.' The first one then made the second
once lie down and cut his throat, as his father had slaughtered the
goat. When he realized what had happened, he ran away into the
mountains; where he was attacked by a wolf and eaten up.
The father went in search for him; searching from place to place until
he died of extreme thirst. In the mean time I was at home frantic with
worrywaiting for news of him.I put down my infant child and went to
the door to inquire about anyone who might have news of my husband.
The child crawled to the fireplace where a pot was boiling. The child
touched it and the boiling pot fell upon the baby, burning it to death
in such a ghastly manner that the childs meat became separated from
the bones.
When my married daughter heard all this, in the house of her husband,
she fell down of shock. Thus I was left alone to bear all that."
I asked her: "And how, lady; did you manage all these misfortunes with
patience?"
She replied: "Whoever ponders on the difference between patience and
impatience, finds a world of difference between the two. The reward of
patience is praiseworthy; whereas for impatience there is nothing."
Then she recited some lines of poetry before walking away:
Patience did I exercise,
For that was my strongest pillar;
And should impatience have helped me,
Then I would have tried her.
Such patience did I on have that;
Had my trails descended on mountain high,
In broken rocks they would have ended.
Indeed did I control my eyes,
Those tears not fall;
And now within my heart alone,
My tears do roll.

May Allah (SWT) grant us the ability to be patient! Ameen!

Islamic Stories, - The lady who spoke nothing besides the Quran
- ●◄ ►● - Published by, M NajimudeeN Bsc - INDIA|®|- - - - *
- Translator:: http://translate.google.com/m/ - ●◄ ►● - >
An elderly Arab lady was sitting at the trunk of a tree, on the way to
Haj. Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA) happened to pass that way. He
was also heading for Baitullah, for Hajj, and tothe Sacred tomb of the
Holy Prophet (Sallallaahulayhi Wasallam). Seeingthis lady very
disturbed and in a state of despair,(distressed) he spoke to her. The
discussion is recorded as follows:
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah
The lady: "The word from a merciful Lord is Peace" (Surah 36 Aayat
58). She meant that the reply of salaam is from Allah, Most High,
Himself.
She said further: "Those whom Allah sendeth astray, there is no guide
for them." (Surah 7 Aayat 186). She meant that she has lost her way.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): Where areyou coming from?
The lady: "Glorified be He who carried His servant by night from the
Musjid-e-Aqsa (invioble place of worship) to the Musjid-e-Haraam" (Far
distant place of worship) (Surah17 Aayat1). She meant that she had
come from Musjid-e-Aqsa.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): How long are you in this place?
The lady: "For three nights" (Surah 19 Aayat10).
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): What arrangements are made for your food?
The lady: "And who (Allah) feedeth me and watereth me" (Surah 26 Aayat
79). She meant that somehow or the other, her food is provided to her
by Allah.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): Is there any water for Wudhu?
The lady: "And ye find not water, then go to high clean soil and (make
tayammum) rub your faces and hands." (therewith) (Surah 4 Aayat 43).
She meant that she makes tayammum, due to not finding water.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): Here is some food. Partake of it.
The lady: "Strictly observe the fast till nightfall" (Surah 2 Aayat
187). She indicated that she is fasting.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): This is not the month of Ramadaan.
The lady: "And he who does good of his own accord (for him) lo!
Allahis responsive, aware". (Surah 2 Aayat158) meaning that I have
observed an optional (nafl) fast.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): It is permitted to break the fast
when in a journey.
The lady: "And that ye fast is better for you, if you did but know."
(Surah 2 Aayat 184)
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): Speak likehow I speak.
The lady: "He (man) uttereth no word but there is with him an observer
ready" (Surah 50 Aayat 18). She meant that since every word of a
person is observed andrecorded, she is taking precaution by speaking
only in the words of the Holy Quran.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): Which clan do you belong to?
The lady: "Follow not that whereof thou hast no knowledge, lo! The
hearing and the sight and heart of each of these it will be asked"
(Surah 17 Aayat36). She meant those things that you have no knowledge
of, nor do they concern you, you are wasting your strength (senses)
byenquiring about them.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): Forgive me. I have certainly made a mistake.
The lady: "Have no fear this day. May Allah forgive you" (Surah 12 Aayat 92)
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): Would you like to travel on my
camel and meet your caravan?
The lady: "And whatsoever good ye do Allah knoweth it" (Surah 2 Aayat
197). Meaning that if you will do this good deeds towards me,Allah
will recompense you for it.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): Well, then you may mount it.
Saying this he made the camel to sit down.
The lady: "Tell the believing men (when confronted by women) to lower
their gaze". (Surah 24 Aayat 30).
Hadhrat Abdullah understood and (turned)looked away. While she was
mounting, the camel jerked and her clothes got estrangled inthe saddle
(dorsers) and she proclaimed:"whatever of misfortunestriketh you, it
is what your hands have earned." (Surah 42 Aayat30).
In other words she was drawing Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak's (RA)
attention towards this mishap. Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA)
understood and he tied the legs of the camel and he straightened the
straps of the saddle (or dorser).
She applauded him for his proficiency and capability by saying"And we
made Sulaiman to understand" (Surah 21 Aayat 79). When the journey was
about to begin, the lady recited the Aayats which are read when
undertaking a journey "Glorified be he who hath subdued these unto us,
and we were not capable (of subduing them). And lo, unto our Lord we
are returning." (Surah 43 Aayat 13).
Hadhrat Abdullh bin Mubarak (RA) held the bridle (or nose string) of
the camel. He began to hum the (Huddi) famous Arabic song for
travelling, and he started walking very fast.
The lady: "Be modest in thy bearing and subdue thy voice" (Surah 31
Aayat 19). Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA) understood. He began
walking slower and he lowered his voice.
The lady: "Recite of the Quran that which is easy for you." She meant
that instead of humming the Huddi, he should rather recite the Holy
Quran.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA) began reciting the Holy Quran.
The lady became very pleased and said "but none remember (accept
advice) except men of understanding" (Surah 2Aayat 269).
After reciting the Holy Quran for a while, Hadhrat Abdullah bin
Mubarak (RA) asked (the lady if she had a husband) (if he was alive)
"O Aunt, have haveyou a husband? (meaning is he living)
The lady: "O you who believe, ask not of thingswhich if they were
madeknown unto you, would trouble you" (Surah 5 Aayat 101). She meant
that no questions shouldbe asked regarding this matter which indicated
that her husband has most probably passed away. Finally they (caught
up) met the caravan.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): Do you have any son or relative
(friend) in this caravan who has connection (contact) with you?
The lady: "Wealth and children are an ornament of life of the world"
(Surah 18 Aayat 46). She meant that her sons were with this caravan
and he has provisions with him.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): What work are your sons doing for
the caravan? (Hadhrat Abdullah's object for asking was to make it easy
for him to recognise her son).
The lady: "And landmarks, and by the star they find a way" (Surah 16
Aayat 16). She meant that he is a guide for the caravan.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA): Can you tell me their name?
The lady: "Allah chose Ibrahim as (for) a friend"(Surah 4 Aayat 125).
And Allah spoke directly untoMoosa" (Surah 19 Aayat 12). By reciting
these Aayats the lady informedhim that her sons names were Yahya,
Ibrahim andMoosa.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA) called out these names in the
caravan and immediately three young people came forward.
The lady: (addressing her children) "Now send one of you with this
your silver coin unto the city. And let him see what food is purest
there and bring you a supply thereof" (Sura 18 Aayat 19) In other
wordsshe instructed them to feed Hadhrat Abdullah (RA).
When the food was brought, she told Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA):
"Eat and drink at ease for that which ye sent on before you in the
past days." (Surah 69 Aayat 24), and with this Aayat she recited
another Aayat, the object of which was to convey (show) her
gratefulness to him for his good conduct and courtesy. The Aayat
was:"Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness?" (Surah 55 Aayat
60).
Their conversation terminated on this Aayat. The lady's son informed
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA) that his mother has been speaking in
this manner, i.e. using only the Aayats of the Holy Quran in her
speech, for the last forty years.
