This is a meditation that a Muslim can use to relax and recover from
stress. It is not a substitute for prayer and duaa, or a replacement
for dhikr (remembrance of Allah). Salat in particular is the first
duty and refuge of the Muslim. This is just a simplerelaxation
technique that one might use either alone or share with a spouse, to
relax the body and release some of the worries of the day. It also
functions as an affirmation, reminding the reader of the love and
peace that Allah offers us, and of each person's pure nature.
Settle yourself in a quiet place, in a comfortable position. Imagine
yourself to be in the most relaxing, secure, peaceful place you have
ever known. Breathe deeply in and out, breathing into your stomach.
Recite the following to yourself, with a quiet voice, very slowly, but
imagine it is being spoken to you by a voice outside yourself, by a
voiceof love. If you do this with your spouse, let one read and the
other close his/her eyes and listen:
***
Your breath is warm and soothing. As it spreads through your body it
makes you warm. It brings peace and tranquility to every cell in your
body.
Let every cell in your body know and feel that you are loved. Allah
lovesyou. Many people love you. You are surrounded by love and caring.
The love is all around you likewarm light, comforting you, taking away
all your pain.
The air that you are breathing in is warm and soothing. That warmth is
spreading all through your body. As it spreads throughyour body, it
causes your muscles to relax.
Now the warmth spreads to your head. Relax the topof your head. Relax
your mind. There is nothing to think about right now, nothing to worry
about. Release the burdens that you carry in your mind.
As you breathe deeply, the warmth spreads to your face. Let your face
relax. Relax your eyes. Whatever your eyes have seen that isunhappy or
that causes you pain, let it go. Release it with your breath.
Relax your cheeks and yourmouth. Whatever you havespoken that you
regret, let it go, release it with your breath. It's in the past and
is gone now with your breath.
Relax your ears. There is nothing for you to listen toright now except
the peacefulness of your own breath. Whatever you haveheard that has
hurt you, at any time in your life, let it go now. You don't need it
anymore. Release it with your breath.
Relax your jaw. Any tension that you are holding in your jaw, let it
go, release it. Feel the warmth spread through your mind, your face,
your neck. Relax your neck.
Know that you are safe. You are protected. You are in a place of
shelter. You are in Allah's care. You are in a safe place, a good
place. You have nothing to fear, nothing to regret. The past is gone,
and the future has not arrived. All that existsis this peaceful
moment, this safe place where youare protected and warm.
Continue to breathe deeplyand softly. Your breath warms you. The
warmth spreads now into your shoulders and relaxes your shoulders.
Whatever burden you have been carrying on your shoulders, let it go.
Give to Allah, and He will hold it for you until you are ready to take
it back. For now, let it go with your breath. Relax your shoulders.
Let go of your fear and your worry. You are following Allah's guidance
and that is peaceful. You are at harmony with the entire universe and
that is peaceful.
Breathe deeply and softly. The breath spreads now into your back and
warms your back. Relax your shoulder blades, and the middle of your
back. Relax your lower back. As you breathe out, release the burdens
that you have borne on your back. All the troubles, all the weight on
your back, release them with your breath, and let them disappear. You
don't need them anymore.
Allah is on your side and He will always be with you. You have the
strength of Imaan. Know that whatever challengesyou face in life, you
are strong and capable.
As you breathe, warmth continues to spread through your body, now
moving into your chest andyour stomach. Relax your chest. Whatever
fears you have for the future, let them go. Release them with your
breath. Trust in Allah; He is with you right now, at this moment, and
He will protect you. Relax your stomach. Whatever tightness you have
in your stomach, whatever tensionyou carry there, release it, let it
go with your breath.
Know that Allah created you pure, with the purity of fitrah. That
purity is always inside you, like a light. Allow yourself to feel it,
to be in touch with it; let that purity come out, and with it comes
peace.

Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Islamic Meditation for Relaxation and Spiritual Comfort
Beings our Lord created with strong senses
Why do some animals display extraordinary behaviors before an earthquake?
What are some beings' attitudes in the face of dangers?
What are some of the animal senses stronger than those of human beings?
Beings With Danger Signal
One of the biggest advantages of living as a community is that it
provides more protection against dangers because when any of the
animals that lives in the community senses danger, it warns the other
animals instead of simply silently escaping . Every living species has
a specificform of warning.
Rabbits and some deer lifttheir tails to warn the animals around them
when they sense danger.
Many small birds signal alarm by a particular birdcall when they
sense their enemies. Species like the golden oriole make a
high-pitched sound with anarrow frequency interval when they give an
alarm. The human ear senses thisas only a slight whistle. The most
important quality of this sound is that its source cannot be detected.
This is a very important advantage for the bird warning its pack,
because the bird actually takes the risk of drawing all attention to
itself by sounding off, but since thedirection of the sound is not
certain, the danger is somewhat reduced.
In insects that live as colonies, the insect that first senses the
danger warns the rest of the colony. However, the alarm scent secreted
by the insect that communicates the danger also grabs the enemy's
attention . Therefore, the insect that warns its colony against danger
alsotakes the risk of death.
Prairie dogs live in massive colonies. Their nests, which bear
resemblance to a city, are divided into approximately 30 sectionswhere
the animals live. All of the animals in this region know one another.
There are certain prairie dogs which keep guard at all times standing
on their back feet in a way as to see in all directions at the
entrance and exit of the tunnels. If one of the animals sees an enemy,
it makes a barking sound like a whistle. This warning is repeated by
the guards, and it causes the colony to go into an alarm state.
Scientists who witness thiscooperation in nature are amazed at the
extraordinary behaviors ofthese unconscious behaviors. No doubt, Allah
is the One Who directs these beings with His inspiration at all times,
controls every one of them and commands them how to behave. This clear
truth is revealed in the Qur'an as such:
" Everything in the heavens and every creature on the earth prostrates
to Allah, as dothe angels. They are not puffed up with pride. They
fear their Lord above them and do everything they are ordered to do. "
(Surat an-Nahl, 49-50)
Animals With Different Senses Than Human Beings
Allah created animals' sensory organs as strongerthan those of human
beings. Some animals even have other sensory organs which humans do
not have, for example:
Since elephants are animals that live in vast open areas, it is very
important that there is a strong "communication" between them. This
communication is not onlya result of elephants' strong sense of smell
. Besides this, Allah created an organ, which makes an ultrasound
noise that humans cannot hear, in the elephant's forehead. Thanks to
this organ, elephants can communicate with a secret and encrypted
language that other beings cannot understand. These ultrasound noises
made by elephants can reach to enormous distances. Therefore, this
special sound made by elephants is ideal for long distance
communication.
Some beings' eyes have far more advanced qualities than human beings.
For example, insects and bees can see ultraviolet light that the human
eye cannot . A layer in the eyes of mammals that hunt at nights and
night birds called the "tapetum" allows these beings to seein the
dark. Vultures in Africa can detect whether an animal lying on the
ground is dead or just sleeping from a distance over 4,000 meters
where human beings cannot see that far even with binoculars.
Some animals' sense of smell is 100,000, even 1,000,000 times stronger
than that of human beings. For example, dogs can sense even the
slightest smells called microphakia. Thanks to these characteristics,
dogs are used in the early diagnosis of some metabolic distortions
seenin men and characterized by different body scents, as well as in
police business like narcotics detection and searching for fugitive
criminals and in the search for trapped victims of natural
disasterssuch as landslides and earthquakes.

HADEES - ~ Zakah, definition
Zakah or alms tax can be defined as that portion of a man's
wealthwhich is designated for the poor. The term is derived from the
Arabic verbal root meaning "to increase." "to purify," and "to bless."
It find its origin in Allah's command to: "Take sadaqah (charity) from
their property in order to purify and sanctify them" [at-Taubah 103].
That is why this kind of sadaqah is called zakah, for by paying it,
oneis aspiring to attain blessing, purification, and the cultivation
of good deeds.
Taking into account its very nature, it is no wonder that zakah
constitutes one of the five pillars of Islam. It is associated with
prayer (salah) in eighty-two Qur'anic verses. Allah, the Exalted One,
prescribed it in His Book (The Qur'an), His Messenger corroborated it
by his (sunnah), and the community (ummah) by consensus upheld it. Ibn
'Abbas reported that when the Prophet, upon whom be peace, sent Mu'azh
ibn Jabal to Yemen (as its governor), he said to him: "You are going
to a people who are People of the Scripture. Invite them to accept the
shahadah: that there is no god but Allah andI am His Messenger. If
they accept and affirm this, tell them that Allah, the Glorious One,
has enjoined five prayers upon them during the day and night. If they
accept that, tell them also that He has enjoined sadaqah upon
theirassets which will be taken from the rich of the (Muslim)
community and distributed to the poor. If they accept that, refrain
from laying hands upon the best of their goods and fear the cry of the
oppressed, for there is no barrier between Allah and it."
At-Tabarani relates in al-'Awsat and as-Saghir, on the authority
of'Ali, that the Prophet said: "Allah has enjoined upon rich Muslims
adue to be taken from their properties corresponding to the needs of
the poor among them. The poor will never suffer from starvation or
lack of clothes unless the rich neglect their due. If they do, Allah
will surely hold them accountable and punish them severely." According
to at-Tabarani: "It was reported only by Thabit ibn Muhammad
az-Zahid." Of Thabit's credibility, al-Hafiz in turn says: "Thabit was
an honest and trustworthy person. AlBukhari and others related from
him, and the rest of the narrators in the chain are considered as
accepted authorities."
In the early days of Islam at Makkah, no limit or restriction was
placed on the amount to be donated, for that decision was left to the
individual Muslim's conscience and generosity. In thesecond year of
hijrah, according to the widely known authorities, both the type and
the quantity ofzakah revenues were determined, and detailed
illustrations were provided.
Fiqh 3.2: Exhortation to Give Zakah in the Qur'an
At-Taubah 103 authorizes the Prophet, upon whom be peace, to take
either a stipulated amount of alms from the believers' holdings in the
form ofthe obligatory zakah, or a voluntary, unstipulated amount
(zakah of tatawwul). In this 'ayah, "purify" means to purify them from
stinginess, greed, andmeanness, and a lack of remorse toward the poor
and the wretched. To sanctify them is to raise them in esteem through
good deeds and blessings so that they will be worthy of happiness both
now and in the afterlife.
Fiqh 2.151 b:
In reference to the life hereafter, Allah reveals: "Lo! Those who keep
from evil will dwell amid gardens and watersprings, taking that which
their Lord gives them. For they were before doers of good. They used
to sleep but little of the night, and inthe hours of the early dawn
they prayed for forgiveness.... In their wealth, the beggar and the
outcast had due share" [azh-Zhariyat 15-19]. Allah views beneficence
and righteousness as exclusive qualities of the pious. It is because
of their beneficence that they pray at night and ask Allah's
forgiveness at dawn as a way of worshipping and approaching Him. Their
beneficence is likewisein their giving to the needy their share of
mercy and sympathy.
Allah further confirms: "And the believers, men and women, are
protecting friends of one another; they enjoin the right and forbid
the wrong, they perform prayer and pay the zakah, and they obey Allah
and His Messenger. Upon them, Allah will have mercy" [at-Taubah 71].
Such are the people blessed by Allah and given His mercy-- those who
believe in Him, who take care of each other through support and love,
who exhort fairness and restrain lewd behavior, who have strong ties
with Allah through prayer, and who strengthen their mutual relations
through zakah.
Finally, these people, as reflected in al-Hajj 41, are: "Those who, if
we give them power in the land, perform prayers and pay zakah, and
enjoin kindness and forbid inequity."

Our Prophet's (pbuh)sincere, joyful, smiling and playful behavior is the finestmodel for all Muslims
How did the Companions describe our Prophet's (saas) joyful and smiling nature?
How did our Prophet (saas) joke with those around him?
What did the Companions say about our Prophet's (saas) sincerity and gentleness?
Our Prophet (saas) is a most worthy person of deep faith who burns
withlove and passion for Allah. The depth of our Prophet's(saas) faith
bestowed on him a great acuity, honesty and sincerity. The Prophet
Muhammad (saas)was influenced by none and feared Allah alone. He was
therefore punctilious over what is lawful and unlawful, and was well
acquainted with love, compassion and affection. Since the heart of our
Prophet (saas) rejoiced with love of Allah, this bestowed great joy
and fervor upon him.
Despite all our Prophet's (saas) responsibilities and all the
difficulties he faced,he was always lively and smiling because of the
joy of his faith and his moral values. This behavior of our Prophet
(saas), a role model for all Muslims, has come down to us through
accounts from our Prophet's (saas) Companions and wives.
Our Prophet (saas) Was Very Joyful and Smiling
Our Prophet (saas) alwaysspoke to the heart. With his joyful nature
and behavior, he told those around him of the love of Allah and the
joy of faith. Those who saw him were not only affected by his
knowledge; those who were present to hear him speak felt an easing and
relaxation in their hearts, and an ineffable joy. Our Prophet's (saas)
joyful and smiling nature produced a delight in and desire to worship
in all those who knew and saw him. Our Prophet's (saas) joyful,
smiling face and language and his spiritual depth are described as
follows by the Companions:
Hazrat Ali (r.a): "His smiling face and kind behavior to everyone made
him literally a father to the people. Everyone was equal in his sight
and presence." (Imam Muhammed Bin Muhammed bin Sulayman ar-Rudani, eat
Hadith Collection, Jam'ul-fawaid min Jami'il-usul wa Majma'ith-zawaid,
Vol. 5, Ä°z Press, p. 33)
The Messenger of Allah was always smiling of face and pleasant
natured... (Imam Muhammed Bin Muhammed bin Sulayman ar-Rudani, Great
Hadith Collection, Jam'ul-fawaid min Jami'il-usul wa Majma'iz-zawaid,
Vol. 5, Ä°z Press, p. 34)
The Messenger of Allah... was the most smiling and joyful of people."
( Hujjatj'l Islam Imam Gazali, Ihya'u Ulum'id-din, Vol. 2, Trans: Dr.
Sıtkı Gülle,Huzur Press, Istanbul 1998, p. 801)
Our Prophet (saas) also advised his people to havesmiling faces, and said:
"You cannot make people happy with your possessions, but you canplease
them with a pleasant face and good nature." ( Bezzar, Ebu
Yala,Taberani; Huccetu'l Islam Imam Gazali, Ä°hya'u Ulum'id-din, Vol.
3, Trans. Sıtkı Gülle, Huzur Press, Istanbul 1998, p. 111 )
"Almighty Allah loves him who makes things easy and has a smiling
face." (Huccetü'l Islam Imam Gazali, Ä°hya'u Ulum'id-din, Vol. 2,
Trans: Dr. Sıtkı Gülle, Huzur Press, Istanbul 1998, p. 444)
Our Prophet ( saas ) Was Very Vivacious and Pleasant-Natured
Our Prophet (saas) had a very special and profound sincerity, honesty
and closeness to Allah in his heart. This honesty meant that he
treated everyone he met with warmth and sincerity, and that he
responded to people's questions seriously and with close interest.
Hazrat Ali (r.a), one of the people closest to him, described the
climate in our Prophet's (saas) conversations and his relations with
the Companions as follows:
i. Those who took part in his conversations were hugely affected by
his honesty and sincerity.
" Rasulullah ( saas ) was the most generous of men, and had the
widestheart and most regular accent, he best discharged any task he
undertook and had the gentlest nature and finest conversations. Those
who knew him and were present at his conversations approached him with
love. One who describedhim said, 'I have never seen anyone like him,
neither before nor since.'Whenever he was asked for something, he
wouldalways give it." (Tirmidhi; Huccetü'l Islam Imam Gazali, Ihya'u
Ulum'id-din, Vol. 2, Trans: Dr. Sıtkı Gülle,Huzur Press, Istanbul
1998, p. 814)
"... He would speak of things that made peoplelove one another and
brought them close together. He would not alarm or put them off.
Heattached importance to the leader of every tribe; he would offer
food and drink ..." ( Imam Muhammed Bin Muhammed bin Süleyman
er-Rudani, Great Hadith Collection, Jem'ul-favaid min Jami'il-usul ve
Majma'iz-zevaid, Vol. 5, Ä°z Press, p. 33)
His grandson Hazrat Hassan (r.a) said this aboutour Prophet (saas):
" His facial expressions were highly significant...He spoke
expressively (using few words to impart much meaning) and well.

Allah is everywhere
Some people imagine that they themselves, matter and the world they
see all aroundthem are all absolute beings. But they regard Allah
(surely He is beyond that) as an imagination pervading that absolute
matter. Or else, since they cannot see Him with their own eyes, they
say: "Allah must be somewhere we cannot see, in space or far away from
human eyes." (Surely Allah is beyond that.) But these are all grave
errors.
Because Allah is everywhere, not just in the sky. As the soleabsolute
being, Allah enfoldsthe whole universe, all people and places, the
heavens and everywhere. And Allah is manifested in the whole universe.
According to the hadith, our Prophet (saas) said that someone who said
that Allahwas in the sky was telling the truth. But this account in no
way conflicts with the fact that Allah is everywhere.Because if
someone at your location on Earth raises his hands and prays to Allah
and thinks that Allah is in the sky, while someone at the South Pole
turns to Allah in the same way, while someone else at the North Pole
raises his hands and yet another individual in Japan, or America or
Ecuador raises his hands to the sky in the same way and turns to
Allah, then it is impossible to speak of any fixed direction. In the
same way, if djinn, angels and demons at various pointsin space and
the universe also pray toward the skies, it will again be impossible
to speak of any fixed direction, and the situation will be one that
covers the entire universe.
We must not also forget that Allah is unfettered by time and space.
Allah's self is something different. But the manifestations of Allah
are everywhere. If someone enters a room and says Allah is not there,
he is denying Allah. The manifestations of Allah are in that room and
everywhere. Wherever you may turn, manifestations of Allah are there.
Several verses of the Qur'an state that Allah pervades all places,
that He is closer to us than our own jugular veins, and that we will
see His face wherever we look. For example, in verse 255 of Surat
al-Baqara Allah says "... His Footstool encompasses the heavens and
the earth...."Verse 92 of Surah Hud says,"...But my Lord encompasses
everything that you do" meaning that Allah also pervades what people
do.
The truth revealed in the Qur'an is clear: Allah is not only in the
skies. Allah is He Who enfolds and pervades all places. This knowledge
is provided to us by way of the Qur'an. Describing the reality of the
secret behind matter will enable people to better understand these
verses. People who realize that matter is not an absolute entity will
realize with complete clarity that Allah is everywhere at any moment,
that He sees and hears them at all moments, that He witnesses all
things and is closer to them than their own jugular veins, and that He
hears the prayers of thosewho pray.
Some verses of the Qur'an on the subject
Both East and West belong to Allah, so wherever you turn, the Face of
Allah is there. Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing. (Surat
al-Baqara, 115)
Allah, there is no god but Him, the Living, the Self-Sustaining. He is
not subject to drowsiness or sleep. Everything in the heavens and the
earth belongs to Him. Who can intercede with Him except by His
permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them but
they cannot grasp any ofHis knowledge save what He wills. His
Footstool encompasses the heavens and the earth and their preservation
does not tire Him. He is the Most High, theMagnificent. (Surat
al-Baqara, 255)
When We said to you, 'Surely your Lord encompasses the people with His
knowledge.' We only appointed the vision We showed you and the
Accursed Tree in the Qur'an as a trial and temptation forthe people.
We frighten them, but it only increases them in their excessive
insolence. (Surat al-Isra', 60)
There is no one in the heavens and earth who will not come to the
All-Merciful as a slave. He has counted them and numbered them
precisely. (Surah Maryam, 93-94)
And other booty you do not yet have the power to take –Allah has
already encompassed it.Allah has power over all things. (Suratal-
Fath, 21)
While Allah is encircling them from behind. (Surat al-Buruj, 20)
We created man and We know what his own self whispers to him. We are
nearer to him than his jugular vein. (Surah Qaf, 16)
If something good happens to you, it galls them. If something bad
strikes you, they rejoice at it. But if you are steadfast and have
fear of Allah, their scheming will not harm you in any way. Allah
encompasses what they do. (Surah Al 'Imran, 120)
They try to conceal themselves from people, butthey cannot conceal
themselves from Allah. He is with them when they spendthe night saying
things which are not pleasing to Him. Allah encompasses everything
they do. (Surat an-Nisa', 108)

HEALTH - ~ Nutrition — in a nutshell
preventive medicine
healthy lifestyle
It's described as Nature's energiser, thirst-quencher and even life
enhancer! If that's not enough tender coconut water has many health
benefits
H uffington Post reports that tender coconut water — packed, of course
— is America's latest health craze. The marketing strategy, it says,
has been to dub the drink as "nature's sports drink" and "life
enhancer". And it has hit its mark with celebrities who have "replaced
their acai berry drinks and Kabbalah water" with cartons of coconut
water. Vita Coco and Zico are the major sellers, says the report,
adding, "as fads go… the U.S. coconut water industry went from zero
to$35 million." It then asks: But with a price tag of $2-3 for a
typical 11 fl. ounce pack (about 10 sips), is it really worth paying
top dollar for, well, top water?"
Ilaneer has climbed to similar price levels after the Thane havoc in
coastal Tamil Nadu. But sellers aren't complainingabout stocks going
waste. That is because we have always known of ilaneer's
thirst-quenching, energy-restoring abilities.
"Coconut water is full of electrolytes," says Nirmala Jesudasan,
consultant dietician, Cherian Heart Foundation. "It's helps replenish
body salts after sweating, and is good supportmaterial for nutrition.
There are records of people surviving only on coconut water for days."
Dieters must love it. "It has little sugar, little cholesterol and no
fat," she says.
Packed with potassium
What makes the drink a star isits K factor. You eat fruits and veggies
to get your potassium, while a glass of coconut water has 569 mg of
this mineral — which is almost twice the amount in a banana. Potassium
tends to regulate blood pressure by counteracting the
stimulatingeffects of sodium, of which it contains only 160mg. This in
turn helps to prevent problems like stroke, heart attack and
hangovers. Compare this to 14 fl. oz. of a standard sports drink,
which contains 52.5 mg of potassium and 192.5 mg of sodium. So we have
no quarrel with the ad blitz calling coconut water Mother Nature's
answer to dehydration.
Health on a budget.comclaims coconut water is anti-viral, anti-fungal
and anti-bacterial. "A 2008 research study showed that coconut water
contains peptides (small proteins) that can kill bacteria. It helps
relieve stomach upsets, protects against ulcer-causingbacteria H.
pylori." Its answersfor "why coconut water?" include ilaneer's ability
to dissolve kidney stones, bring stress relief (small amounts ofB
vitamins such as thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenicacid, B-6
and folate play a crucial role in lowering anxiety, depression and
stress), hangover relief, weight loss (naturally isotonic, increases
metabolism) and detoxification.
Chinemere Onuekwusi of Yahoo! Contributor Network believes coconut
water stops all kinds of adverse drug reactions. Its
sodium+potassium+magnesium composition makes it a good substitute for
saline-glucose, he writes. Coconut water is germ-free (pyrogen free: a
substance that causes fever). It has been found very useful for
natural oral re-hydration therapy (ORT). "It is on record that coconut
water if taken during feverishconditions reduces fever," he says. "It
is also known to calm nervous and emotional imbalances. Taking coconut
water regularly aids in flushing the liver, since it contains lauric
acid that has anti-microbial properties."
"Over-hyped", say some. You can get some of these benefits from other
fruits and vegetables, they argue. Liz Applegate, Director, Sports
Nutrition at UC-Davis isn't soldon coconut water as a post-exercise
drink. Its high-potassium-low-sodium combo isn't ideal, she said.
"When you sweat, you lose a lot more sodium than potassium." Plain
water does the job just as well, notes Samir Zakhari, Ph.D., Director,
Division of Metabolism and Health Effects, National Institute on
Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. The kidneys preserve electrolytes when
we drink, so there's no need to replace the electrolytes with coconut
water. Also, there's no scientific evidence that coconut water has
anti-aging and kidney health properties. Nor will it cure cancer and
hypertension. "If you have a kidney problem, consult a doctor about
ilaneerintake," said Dr. Nirmala. "Andthere is no truth in the belief
that it improves skin texture."
But you really can't equate coconut water to plain water. Coconut
water contains several antioxidants and essential minerals. When you
drink it fresh from the tender coconut, you avoid the added sugar in
sports drinks or soda. It beats that fake-coloured, fake-sugar drinks
any day. Water is fine, but letting some cool coconut water dripdown
your shirt-front on a hotday is heavenly, isn't it?

Bees that have technological knowledge
How do wasps collect solar energy?
· How does the solar energy system of wasps work?
· What is the secret of wasps' computer system that works faster than
the direction finding computerspeople use?
· What is the special system which wasps have to reach the nectar in
flowers speedily?
Bees, which are a large family composed of twenty thousand species,
are among the beings that have the most striking knowledge of
engineering and architecture, posess social lives which are quite
different from many other animals and that leave the scientists who
examine themin astonishment at their communication skills. Bees have
great technological knowledge as well as their honey-making ability,
which is one of their most well-known and miraculous abilities. Bees
behave according to Allah's inspiration, just like all other beings on
earth. Allah Who created everything reveals His sovereignty over
living things in Surah Hud as such:
"... There is no creature He does not hold by the forelock. My Lord is
on a Straight Path." (Surah Hud, 56)
Wasps That Collect and Use Solar Energy
The "Eastern Wasp" (Vespa orientalis), which is a bee species living
in the region between the Near East and India, is most active in the
hottest hours of the day in comparison to other insect species that
are more active in the morning. This is because this bee species
setsup their nests under the ground and collects the rays from the Sun
thanks to a special structure in its stomach, and they use this as an
energy stock through a pigment created by AlmightyAllah. The answers
to the questions that scientists havebeen pondering for a long time as
to the function of theyellow bands on their abdomens, and why their
active hours are so very different from their relatives, are hidden in
this structure.
Almighty Allah Created the Body Structure of Wasps in Compliance with
Collecting Solar Energy
Allah, the Lord of the worlds, created the brown section of the hard
caticula layer of the outer skeleton that surrenders the body of this
bee species out of hard riffles with a height of 160 nanometers. The
structure of the section, where the yellow band is, is more different.
Here an oval shaped ledge at a height of 50 nanometers is
interlockedwith another one. This structure prevents the reflection of
sun light and obtains energy by capturing light in this region.
Another characteristic Almighty Allah created for these beings to
collect solar energy is their pigment cells. The melanin pigment
inside the cuticula is brown, while the xanthopterin pigment is
yellow. This yellow pigment turns the light into electrical energy and
functions as a worker that harvests light.
When one contemplates these facts in the light of thisinformation, a
very importantconclusion is arrived at. This bee species did not gain
the ability to collect solar energyusing its own will or by
coincidence. Knowing that the hottest hours of the day are at noon is
not something bees could ascertain. All of the knowledge bees have is
inspired by Almighty Allah. Inone verse, this truth is revealed as
such:
" He is Allah – the Creator, the Maker, the Giver of Form. To
Him belong the Most Beautiful Names.Everything in the heavens and
earth glorifies Him.He is the Almighty, the All-Wise. " (Surat
al-Hashr, 24)
Bees That Solve Problems Faster Than Computers
Computers are used in many areas of daily life, mainly in
communication, gathering data, engineering and research. Today
computers are used in the solving of many problems. The help of
computers are resorted to in order to find the shortest way in terms
of time and distance. Computers comparethe length of possible routes
and choose the shortest one for solving this complicated mathematical
problem. However, they can never do it in a rapid fashion. But
bees, which have a brain as tiny as a grass seed, can find the shortest
route without the help of any devices . This is because bees looking
for food solve the problem of finding the shortest way in the shortest
time, which computers find difficult to solve, every day routinely.
Every day, bees travel aroundthe flowers found in many different
regions; they must use lots of energy to fly and for this reason they
find a route that will keep their flight to a minimum. For this they
first discover the location of flowers. Then, they immediately learn
to flyon the best route in order to save energy and time. So, how do
bees' tiny brains solve this problem of finding this perfect short
way, in comparison to people's technological assistants depending on
traffic flow, internet knowledge and roadcomputers? The answer of this
question is again the same. Our Almighty Lord created all beings with
His infinite might and knowledge and bestowed the most appropriate
features for their environments.

energy stock through a pigment created by AlmightyAllah. The answers
to the questions that scientists havebeen pondering for a long time as
to the function of theyellow bands on their abdomens, and why their
active hours are so very different from their relatives, are hidden in
this structure.

The importance of intending to good works every day
A person of faith orders his whole life according to the Qur'an, and
strives to apply carefully from day to day what he has read and
learned in its verses. In everything he does from themoment he gets up
in the morning until the time he falls asleep at night, he is intent
on thinking, speakingand acting according to the teachings of the
Qur'an. Allah shows us in the Qur'an that this dedication dominates
the whole life of a believer.
Say: "My prayer and my rites, my living and my dying, are for Allah
alone, the Lord of all the worlds."
(Surat al-An'am: 162)
From the moment a Muslim has faith, he has already made the decision
to spend every moment of his life to earn Allah's good pleasure. From
that moment on, he displays a great spiritual zeal and effort in the
material andspiritual sense. However, as an inherent inclination, a
Muslim never feels his faith to be at a sufficient level, for until
his last breath he has the opportunity to deepen his faith at every
moment of his life. For this reason every day, every hour, every
moment, he must once againmake the intention in his heart to deepen
his faith, refresh it and be committed to spending every moment of
his life in engaging in good deeds deserving Allah'sconsent.
The Believer Must Renew HisIntention Every Day
At this very moment, as we are reading this article, we can
accordingly renew our intention. From this very moment, we can intend
to spend our time, use our opportunities, and put our spiritual and
physical power into use in a much more conscious, attentive and
sincere manner. We can assess every opportunity of fulfilling any act
of worship with great zeal. We can observe every opportunity by which
we can earn Allah'sgood pleasure and race towards the good deeds.
Without thinking, "I have already made auspicious deeds, this is
sufficient for today," or "Compared to others around me I make much
greater effort, and in any event, I am better than them", we can make
progress in order to gain Allah's good pleasure.
What is mentioned here is a very different and distinctivestate of
mind. No doubt a Muslim spends his every moment in compliance with the
morality of the Qur'an. However the demeanor of a person who makes a
conscious and decisive decision on this subject is very much
different, for the conscience of a person with such an intent is very
sensitive. He is keenly interested in what is happening around him.
He is more vigilant towards arduous works than anyone else. He is the
one that speaks the best words. He is more kind, conciliatory and
positive than everyone else. He is full of love and compassion. He
notices the needs of people before anyone else and meets them.He
always employs an appeasing and peaceful style. He has a very
different, positive mood that everyone notices right away.
Believers Intend to Live by the Moral Values Revealed by Allah in the
Qur'an in the Finest Manner, 24 Hours a Day
No matter what the conditions, believers will notcompromise in showing
superior behavior. Their values do not change; they always conform to
Allah's commands and recommendations. They takeAllah's Messenger
Prophet Muhammad , may Allah bless him and grant him peace, (saas) as
their example whom Allah praises in the Qur'an in these words:
Indeed you are truly vast in character (Surat al-Qalam: 4)
There is only one way to escape being lost in the endless punishment
of the Fire: living according to the Qur'an and the Sunnah, for
bymeans of these Allah grants to human beings "their glory". It saves
people from the ignorance in which they are sunk, their primitive way
of thinking, stressful environments, negative character traits,
baseless fears, perverse beliefs, and the torments of the Fire for
which all these things are the causes. In place of these they gain
understanding and wisdom, higher values, a sane environment filled
withpeace of mind and, most importantly, life in the Garden filled
with endless blessings.
There is only one way to remove all the anxiety, battles, wars,
hostility, poverty, destitution and anger that fills the world: living
according to the teachings of the Qur'an and the Sunnah of Muhammad,
may Allah bless him and grant him peace (saas). Thereis no other way
for a person to obtain the happiness, well-being, justice, love and
peace that he desires.
Living according to the Qur'an and the Sunnah as a defense against
injustice, conflict, inequality, envy, war, unfairness, waste, fear,
bigotry, cruelty, violence, immorality and other such things is the
most basic solution for human beings in order for them to live at
ease, in peace, in happiness and justice.
Despite this, and because they have turned their backs on the morality
of true religion for the sake of small gains, worldly profit and human
weakness,

Thinking about satan, earthly desires and hell bestows depth on a person
As revealed in verse 30 of Surat al-Baqara, " When your Lord said to
the angels, 'I am putting a successive authority on the earth,'
theysaid, 'Why put on it one whowill cause corruption on it and shed
blood when we glorify You with praise and proclaim Your purity?' He
said, 'I know what you do not know'," Allah created conscious
entities, human beings, even though angels were already in existence
This is because Allah loves human beings according to their piety, who
harbor a fervent love and fear of Him, who know and praise His might,
who love and appreciate His creations, whoknow and are content with
all the beauties He creates and who delight in all these things, more
than He does the angels. The reason why Allah loves human beings more
than the angels is that angels simply obey Allah's commands, while
human beings strive against satan and earthly desires and believe in
the mysteries without seeing Him. It is because of these traits that
separate man from the angels that our Lord addresses our Prophet
(saas) as "beloved," thus indicating the love He feels for the
Messengers and devout believers. Rasulullah (saas) notes this love
that Allah feels for His servants in a hadith, " ALLAH said: "I have
created you from My own light, and other things from your light." (
Îmân Ahmed, Musnad IV-127; Hâkim, Mustadrak II-600/4175; Ibni Hibban,
Al- Ihsân XIV-312/6404; Ajlûnî, Keshfu' al-Hâfâ I-265/827 ).
" Who could have a better faith than someone who submits himself
completely to Allah and is a good-doer, and follows the religion of
Abraham, a man of pure natural belief? Allah took Abraham as an
intimate friend." (Surat an-Nisa, 125)
In verse 125 of Surat an-Nisa',our Lord expresses His love of those
who have faith by speaking of the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) as an
"intimate friend."
Our Lord Created Satan, Earthly Desires and Hell for Human Beings to Compare
Allah loves all fine things, including virtuous people, pleasant views
and delightful scenes and places. And He wants human beings to delight
in them, too. For example, He has sent down the verses of the Qur'an
with a delightful, melodious and magnificent harmony. Had He wished,
He could have sent them down without thatharmony. Had He wished, He
could have created man in Paradise, without creating the Earth and
Hell at all. But ifhuman beings had been created directly in Paradise,
they could never have known the deficiencies of this world and the
torments of Hell, and could never havecompared them and attainedthe
fervor, depth and submission desired by Allah. As revealed in verses
of the Qur'an, Allah created the Prophet Adam (pbuh) and hiswife in
Paradise. Despite being a prophet, Adam (pbuh) fell into error
becausehe knew nowhere else otherthan Paradise. Indeed, versesreveal
that the sorrow the prophet Adam (pbuh) felt when he descended to
earth stemmed from his comparingthis world with that of Paradise. This
regret is described as follows in verses:
" But satan made them slip up by means of it, expelling them from
where they were. We said, 'Go down from here as enemies to each other!
You will have residence on the earth and enjoyment for a time.'
Then Adam received some words from his Lord and He turned towards
him. He is the Ever-Returning, the MostMerciful." (Surat al-Baqara,
36- 37)
The beauty of anything can only be appreciated in comparison with what
is unpleasant and ugly, and virtue can only be appreciated when
compared with vice. One can compare the glorious variety and beauty of
life by putting good and bad, attractive and ugly side by side and
thus come to appreciate all the blessings one possesses. Otherwise,
one cannot give thanks for or appreciate the value of one's blessings,
and one would not wish to strive against one's earthly desires in
order to attain the infinite delights of Paradise. One can only
appreciate delights in this world and enjoy Paradise in the Hereafter
by making comparisons. But in that event, by Allah's will, Paradise
and all of its delights become a true blessing.
Striving against Satan and His Supporters Bestows a Feeling of Fervor and Depth
In the verse " Mankind! Eat what is good and lawful on the earth. And
do not follow in the footsteps of satan. He truly is an outright enemy
toyou" ( Surat al-Baqara , 168) Allah reveals that satan is theenemy
of man and commands man to strive against him. Had our Lord notcreated
satan, there would be no struggle between him and his supporters and
Muslims, and no preaching of the word. Having a profound faith, waging
an intellectual struggle to bring about the glorious reign of Islam,
intending to be a follower of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), being a strong and
honorable believer and intellectually annihilating superstition and
the way of the dajjal all bringgreat joy and fervor to devoun
believers.

HEALTH - ~ 10 Surprising Home Remedies
Don't like running out to the doctor for every little thing that ails
you? Who can blame you? A trip to the doctor can be costly, not to
mention timeconsuming.
If you are in a hurry, want to save a little money, or just want to
try something different, here are ten home remedies that you might not
have known about.
...
1.Have an ear ache? Try castoroil! Dip a cotton ball in castor oil,
then pour a few drops from the cotton ball into the infected ear. The
castor oil is supposed to help draw out the infection and in turn
relieve the pain.
2.Bothered by a blister? Try dabbing mouthwash on it three times
daily. Mouthwash is an antiseptic and will help dry out a blister.
3.Hopping mad about hiccups? Chase them away with a spoonful of sugar!
A teaspoon of dry granulated sugar helps to stimulate the vagus nerve,
resetting the diaphragm and stopping hiccups.
4.Bad breath bugging you? The live bacteria found in yogurt can help
to dissolve bad breath issues. Simply add a daily serving of yogurt to
your diet.
5.Aches and pains got you down? Try taking an Epsom Salt bath.
Dissolve two cups ofEpsom Salt in your bath water and soak for twelve
minutes. If the pain is localized in a hand or foot, you can add one
cup to a gallon of warm waterin a basin and just soak the affected
area.
6.Can't beat cold feet? Try sprinkling a little cayenne pepper in your
socks! It is believed that cayenne has a natural warming effect, and
can help to get your blood flowing.
7.Hollering about hemorrhoids? Witch hazel is anatural astringent
which can help to contract the skin and blood vessels back to normal
size. Alone, it can dry out the skin, so apply it with Vaseline or a&d
ointment.
8.Steaming over a sore throat? Licorice may be your answer! The sweet
root contains a natural coating agent which can help ease the pain of
throat inflammation.
9.Nervous about a nose bleed? If pinching your nose isn't stopping it,
try nasal spray. Most emergency room visits for nosebleeds are treated
successfully with oxymetazoline, which just so happens to be the
decongestant found in common OTC nasal sprays. Simply tilt your head
forward and blow your nose clear, then use the nasal spray normally,
and pinch the soft part of your nose closed for ten minutes.
10.Duct tape fixes everything, and warts are no exception! Apply a
small piece of duct tape to a wart every three days, removing the duct
tape ad filing the wart with pumice stone in between. One study has
shown that it is 25% more effective than freezing!

The glorious world of electrons
Atoms, too small to be seen with the naked eye, are made up of a
nucleus and ELECTRONS revolving around that nucleus.
Since the proton constituting the nucleus is positively charged and
the neutron is uncharged, the nucleus itself is always POSITIVELY
CHARGED. The electrons that revolve around the nucleus one million
times per second ARE ALWAYS NEGATIVELY CHARGED.
One of the most important characteristics that makes atoms so
magnificent is the endless revolution of the electrons.
The electrons in the atom, that never cease to exist since the moment
of their creation, CONTINUE TO REVOLVE UNINTERRUPTEDLY AT THE SAME
SPEED , no matter how much time passes or what substance they are a
part of.
Every atom has a different number of electrons. For example, there is
just one electron in a hydrogen atom, two in a helium atom and 92 in a
uranium atom.
These electrons revolve in seven separate orbits. In heavy atoms, some
100 electrons are distributed among these seven orbits. Scores of
electrons revolve atan extraordinary speed in the same orbit, or even
cross between orbits. YET THEY NEVER COLLIDE.
This is one of the most amazing aspects of electrons. Not one of the
hundred or so electrons in seven different orbits, revolving a million
times a second, ever collides with another, goes off courseor slows
down. Each maintains its glorious movement on its own path, in a
stunning harmony, and has done so since the creation of the universe.
There is another amazing point here. In order for electrons to have
different orbits they should have different masses, just like
theplanets. But all electrons HAVE THE SAME MASS AND SIZE . It is as
yet unknown why the energy levels of these identical particles are
different and why they travelin different orbits.
Electrons assume their placesin their orbits with a special command
and change places when necessary in the same way. They are specially
protected, and thus never collide because they are under the sole
control of Almighty Allah, Who created and watches over them at every
moment.
Every atom created over the last 15 billion years maintains that same
wondrous order.
For 15 billion years, not a single electron has followed the wrong
orbit, changed speed or collided with another electron because every
electron is within the knowledge of our Lord and acts by His command.
That is why, in terms of knowledge and creation, everything from giant
galaxies to the invisible world inside the atom are all one and the
same. They all came into being by our Lord Allah commanding them to
"Be!"
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed satan:
Our Word to a thing when We desire it is just to say to it "Be!" and
it is. (Surat an-Nahl, 40)

cross between orbits.

The way to escape selfishness and egotism is through the moral values of Islam
· What damage does selfishness and egotism do to society?
· How can selfish and egotistical societies escape this spiritual sickness?
Omniscient Allah has created the human soul with a predisposition to
selfishness as a test. Unless he lives by the moral values of the
Qur'an and tames his earthly desires, this feeling will come to
dominate his whole moral framework. Such a person generally thinks of
himself alone, rather than everyone else. He always wants the best,
finest and most perfect of everything for himself. He wants to have
possessions and children and for his own family merely to be
comfortable. Whenever he encounters any difficulties he will expect
the people around him to undergo all kinds of risks and troubles
forhim and to support him, evenat the cost of their own interests. He
seeks to protect his own whims and interests and to ensure his own
ease and comfort. When the situation is different he can forgo many
things he values, for the sake of protecting his own interests and
preventing any harm coming to him. Allah has revealed this passionate
selfish feeling in human earthly desires as follows in the Qur'an:
" Truly man was created headstrong –
desperate when bad things happen,
begrudging when good things come –." (Surat al-Ma'arij, 19–21)
Selfishness and Egotism Are a Major Threat to Modern Societies
The materialist, Darwinist thinking that is widespread in modern
societies that do not live by religious moral values reinforces the
selfish and egotistical spirit in human nature and disseminates a
"me-first" philosophy. Indeed, the idea of " So long as I'm all right,
who cares what happens to anyone else?" or "Looking out for number
one" generally dominates such societies. But selfishness and egotism
are a major threat to society because ideas like truth, justice and
law vanish in such a society .Feelings such as beauty, love, affection,
compassion and respect become regarded as unnecessary. Thus, people
who are oppressed and slaughtered, innocent babies, people who lack
the money for proper hospital treatment, or who have to wait for hours
or even days in hospital queues, despite being old or weak, people who
are forced out of their homes or lands because of their faiths and
tiny, defenseless children thrown out onto the streets to survive as
best they can are of no interest to such people. This structure
generally leadsto a troubled and unhappy air in society.
This structure among people and societies who are selfish, loveless,
aggressive, who protect their own interests and violate everyone
else's, who wear a harsh mask and who have no love or fear of Allah,
can only be eliminatedthrough people living by the moral values of the
Qur'an, asIslam and cultivating love of Allah is the only way to
acquire such instances of good conscience as compassion and
helpfulness, features at the root of Qur'anic moral values, and to
escape selfishness and egotism. Our Lord reveals how the Qur'an leads
people from the darkness to the light as follows:
"… A Light has come to you from Allah and a Clear Book.
By it, Allah guides those whofollow what pleases Him to the ways of
Peace. He will bring them from the darkness to the light by His
permission, and guide them to a straight path." (Surat al-Ma'ida,
15-16)
People Can Only Protect and Watch over One Another with Love and Fear of Allah
Fear and love of Allah enables people to submit themselves to Him, to
see the best in everything and to have compassion. In the verses Allah
reveals how the only interest of concern to believers is His approval:
" They fulfill their vows and fear a Day whose evil will spread far and wide.
They give food, despite theirlove for it,to the poor and orphans and captives:
'We feed you only out of desire for the Face of Allah. We do not want
any repayment from you or any thanks.
Truly We fear from our Lord a glowering, calamitous Day.'
So Allah has safeguarded them from the evil of that Day and has made
them meet with radiance and pure joy." (Surat al-Insan, 7-11)
Our Prophet's (saas) words that " He who goes to bed full when his
neighbor is hungry is not one of us" is animportant warning that
believers desire to earn Allah's approval. Therefore, anyone aiming to
earn Allah's approval will not just settle for a solution to his own
problems; he will also assume responsibility for resolving the
problems of others around him in need. This may of course require
people to give up things theylove or to sacrifice their own comfort.
The way that Muslims look to protect and watch over the poor by giving
alms, help people in need by canceling their debts and spend their
possessions on Allah's path, rather than accumulating andhoarding
them, are moral virtues bestowed by the ethical values of the Qur'an.

ISLAMIC ARTICLE - ~ Plants with interesting qualities
Compared to animals, plantsmay be seen as silent and motionless
beings. However, this silence shouldnot be thought of as a deficiency
of biological functions. Plants are capableof very surprising
behaviors, take special precautions to maintain their lives and have a
variety of methods to continue their lineage by the special abilities
bestowed on them by Allah.
Interesting Plants Created With Special Precautions to Adapt to Their
Environment
The Most Resistant Plant in the World: Welwitschia Mirabilis
This plant that dwells in desert environments in Namibia is created
with qualities very adaptive to conditions of drought. The stem of
this plant, which consists of two leaves, a strong stem and a root,
both gets longer and wider and reaches a height of two meters and a
width of eight meters. This plant, which draws even the slightest
moisture inside it through this stem, can live for five years with no
rain.
A Reviving Plant : Elaginella lepidophylla
The Selaginella lepidophylla also known as "Erica's rose" is also a
desert plant. The interesting thing about this plant is that it can
live with almost no water. This plant completely dries during times of
drought and turns into a ball by tucking in its branches and leaves.
However, when rains begin, it revives again by opening its branches
and leaves and starts all of its vital functions again.
Plant That Looks Like a Baseball: Euphorbia obese
Even though the orb shape ofthis cactus species known as"euphorbia
obese" makes it look like a baseball it is known for having the
least amount of surface area, and it stores the greatest amount of
water. The plant decreaseswater loss to a minimum and adapts to desert
conditions with its thick trunk and orb-like shape. The poisonous
juice of the plant is an effective substance thatprotects it from
other beings.
This plant, which is shaped with a tiny deep greened hunch and
decorated with eight tubes, is green like many other species of
cactus, but it also has a very decorative appearance with its red and
purple sections and the small flowers at the top. This plant is one of
the best examples of Allah's name, Al-Muzayyin (The Adorner).
As with all beings on earth, there is no doubt that Allah isthe One
Who places the necessary information inside the plants discussed here
to adapt to their environments, creates all things and knows about all
sorts of creation. Allah reveals this truth in oneverse:
"Do you not see that Allah sends down water from the sky and then in
the morning the earth is covered in green? Allah is All-Subtle,
All-Aware." (Surat al-Hajj, 63)
Plants That Develop Interesting Methods to Continue Their Lineage
The Biggest Flower of the World: Rafflesia Arnoldii
The flower of this plant, which is created for the climate conditions
of rain forests, has a diameter of 90 centimeters and a weight of
between seven to eleven kilograms. This biggest flower of the world
draws insects to itself with the scent it secretes for the threeto
seven days that it stays alive. This plant, which blossoms only once
in nine months, draws almost every insect to itself, spreads its
pollens and continues its lineage in this way.
A Plant That Smells Like Ammonia: Amorphophallus Titanum
Amorphophallus titanum, which is taller than a man, is named as "titan
arum" (carrion flower). Even thoughthis plant, which has the tallest
flower in the world, appears very elegant, it begins to spread a sharp
smelling ammonia gas (NH3).The last structure of the plantis as
interesting as the smell it spreads. The section, where the pollens
are, is at the bottom of the leafy structure and it cannot be seen
from outside. Therefore, spreading smells is not enough to attract
insects' attention. When pollens are ready to be fertilized, the
flower warms the outer part of the flower with its smell. So the
warming and smell, which takes place only during the morning times and
within a day, is very attractive for insects. Scientists, who try to
find an answer to the question of how this heat and smell appears,
found that as a result of the acceleration in the plant's metabolism,
a special acid came into being. This substance called "glutanamicacid"
is broken down chemically and spreads heat and odors. Thanks to
this, insects come to the flower. However, this is not enough for
insects. Because the pollen dust of amoorphophallus titanium is inside
specialized sacs closedat the bottom, the flower is prepared for this.
Due to its greased outer surface, insects fall into the flower and
cannot climb up from theslippery walls. There is a sweet fluid
produced by the flower's female organs in this section.

Paradise and hell are in existence now in another dimension in the Sight of Allah
What incorrect ideas dosome people hold about paradise and hell being
experienced in this world?
· Where are Paradise andhell?
· What happens when a person dies?
Allah reveals the existence of angels, satan, Paradise andHell in the
Qur'an. Whether out of ignorance or weakness of faith, some people
misinterpret these facts and the manifest existence of Allah (surely
Allah is beyond that). In these people's superstitious eyes, Paradise
and Hell exist in this world alone. There is even a widespread belief
among such people that everything takes place in thisworld, and that
one can be restored to life in this world, even though this has no
place in the Qur'an. The fact is, however, that our Lord
hasdefinitively pronounced that the life of this world ends once a
person dies and that they will be recreated in the Hereafter. In this
verse Allah refers to that recreation:
" We have created them a (new) creation."(Surat al-Waqi'a, 35)
Allah Has Created Many Dimensions, and the Life of This World Is Only
One of Them
As revealed in the Qur'an in the verse, " All praise belongsto Allah,
the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, Lord of all the
worlds " (Surat al-Jathiyah, 36), Allahhas created many worlds in many
different dimensions. The world we are now living in is but one of
these worlds and dimensions. The people living on Earth are in the
third dimension. Angels, spiritual beings and the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)
are in the fourth dimension. But these dimensions are all
interconnected. For that reason, by the will of Allah, angels and the
Prophet Jesus (pbuh) can come down to a lower dimension, in other
words, this world. This may be compared to a person reading a book or
watching television because the paper or television are just like a
lower dimension for a personlooking from the outside. A person looks
at these things from a higher dimension. Angels and other spiritual
entities watch us from a higher dimension. But since all dimensions
are interconnected, angels and spiritual beings can momentarily become
visible by descending from the fourth dimension to a lower one.
Angels come to this world when Allah so wishes to do things that He
wishes, and this shows that it is possible, by our Lord's leave, to
cross from one dimension to another. It is revealed in the Qur'an that
angels come down to Earth, by Allah's leave, to transmit His
revelation to people, to assistand support believers and doother
things of which Allah approves:
" In it the angels and the spirit descend by their Lord's authority
with every ordinance ." (Surat al-Qadr, 4)
The fact that by Allah's leave angels descend to Earth at various
times and return backinto the presence of Allah does not, of course,
mean that they cease to exist according to our conceptions. They merely
cross from one dimension to another, and continue living outside our
understanding. In the same way, when people who die pass beyond our
understanding, or cross to the dimension of the hereafter, in other
words, they also continue their lives either in Paradise or Hell.
Allah Has Also Created Various Dimensions for Human Beings
- Our Dreams: The finest evidence of Allah's creation of various
dimensions for human beings is dreams. When a person goes to sleep he
enters a different dimension and environment. That new environment is
not the world he knows and is familiar with. But it is as real as the
phenomena and objects in the world he inhabits. The fact that this
world is in fact a dream, and that people wake up in the Hereafter, is
revealed in another verse:
" They will say, 'Alas for us! Who has raised us from our
resting-place? This is what the All-Merciful promised us.The
Messengers were tellingthe truth'." (Surah Ya Sin, 52)
As in the verse Allah notes, the passage from this world to the
Hereafter takes place as quickly as that from dreaming to waking, and
people are unaware of that transition.
- Trance states: Waking out of a dream is not the only way that people
change dimensions. One can pass from the third dimension to another
dimension in a state of trance. A trance, bestowedby Allah on rare
occasions on people such as messengers, religious scholars and
guides, resembles neither sleep nor wakefulness. Our Prophet (saas)
spoke to Gabriel (puuh) while in a state of trance. One can meet with
Hazrat Khidhir (pbuh) in that state. A trance is an extraordinary
dimension thatBediüzzaman Said Nursi often entered.
- The Rank of Martyrdom: Another verse indicating the existence of
other states of being outside the one people are familiar with
concerns the ranks and position of martyrs. One such verse reads:
" Do not say that those who are killed in the Way of Allahare dead. On
the contrary, they are alive but you are not aware of it." (Surat
al-Baqara 154]

experienced in this world?
As in the verse Allah notes, the passage from this world to the

will appear and bring a Golden Age to the world.
The Stella (stone structure) depicting that the date December 21st,
2012 is the time when an age will end and a new one will begin.
A stella was found nearby Nohoch Mul, the second highest pyramid among
the Coba Pyramids of the AncientMayan civilization. This stella
depicts the age that starts on August 11, 3114 BC and ends in December
21st 2012.
It is estimated that this stella is at least 2000 years old, because
settlements in the area where the pyramids of Coba exist have been
dated somewhere between 600 and 900 CE.
Mayan glifs signifying December 22th, 2012

bring the end of the age of oppression and violence, and this will

structures of the state. These will not happen in a short while; they
will occur in a long period of time. Again according to the Mayan
people, following all these happenings, "great blessed people", whom

ISLAMIC ARTICLE - ~ Miracles Of The Qur'an -
The Noble Qur'an is the only Divine scripture to have come down
unchanged, as a revelation from Allah, to the present day. One of the
proofs confirming that the Qur'an is the word of Allah is the
scientific and mathematical miracles it contains. Scientific facts
that could not have been known at the time when the Qur'an was sent
down, reports concerning earlier times, events referring to the
futureand the mathematical arrangements within it are just a few of
the miraculous aspects of the Qur'an.
As the word of Allah, the Almighty and Omniscient, the Noble Qur'an
also contains a great many facts that people are unable to understand
or lack the information with which to comprehend them. By meansof
advances in science and technology, this information is emerging into
the light of day – at a time and in a manner of our Lord's choosing –
and is further revealing the miraculous nature of the Qur'an.
There is certainly no need to see these miraculous features or
examples that confirm that the Qur'an is in complete agreement with
science in order to believe that the Qur'an is the revelation of
Allah. The Qur'an is a book that distinguished between truth and
falsehood and reflected Allah's infinite wisdom and knowledge even
long beforethese scientific discoveries were made. However, the
examples in this book will beinstrumental in many people not living by
the religious morality coming to have faith and in increasing Muslims'
fervor and depth of faith. As our Lord reveals in one verse in the
Qur'an:
We will show them Our signs on the horizon and within themselves until
it is clear to them that it is the truth. … (Surah Fussilat, 53)

HADEES - ~
The Prophet, peace be upon him, kept drawing his Companion's attention
to the necessity of respecting all animal species. He once told them
the following story: "A man was walking along a road, in very hot
weather. He saw a well and went down to quench his thirst. When he
climbed up again, he saw a dog panting with thirst and said to
himself: 'This dog is as thirsty as I was.' He then wentdown the well
again, filled his shoe with water and climbed up, holding it between
his teeth. He gave the dog to drink and God rewarded him and forgave
hissins." The Prophet was then asked: "O Prophet, are we rewarded for
treating animalswell?" And the Prophet answered: "Any good towardsa
living creature gets its reward." [Bukhari, Muslim]
