*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -*
-
Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Islamic Article :-Allah protecting you
STORIES:-" A True Story of Real Love and Devotion
"After performing Salat Al Maghrib, she put on her make-up, wore her
beautiful white dress preparing herself for her wedding party, Then
sheheard the Adhan of 'Ishaa and she realized that she broke her
Wudu…she told her mother:
"Mother, I have to go to make wudu and pray 'Ishaa"
Her mother was shocked: "Are you crazy?!! Guests are waiting for you,
to see u! what about your make –up? It will be all washed away by
water!!"
then she added:
" I am your mother and I order you not to perform salah now! Wallahi
if you make wudu now, I will be angry at you"
Her daughter replied : "Wallahi Iwon't go out from here till I perform
my salah! Mother you must know that, 'There is no obedience to any
creature in disobedience to the Creator!'
Her mother said: "What would our guests say about you when you'll
show up in ur wedding party without make-up?! You won't be beautiful
in their eyes! and They will make fun of you!"
The daughter asked with a smile: "Are you worried because I won't be
beautiful in the eyes of created beings? What about my Creator?! I am
worried because, if I miss my salah, I won't be beautiful in His
eyes!"
She started to make wudu, and all her make-up was washed away, but she
didn't care…Then she began her salah and at the moment she bowed down
to make sujud, she had no idea that it would be her last one!
Yes! She died while in sujood!
What a great ending for a Muslimah who insisted on obeying her Lord!!
She put Him and His obedience first in her priorities, so He granted
her thebest ending that any Muslim would have! She wanted to be closer
to Him, so He took her soul in the place where a Muslim is the closest
to Him!
SubhanaAllah!
O Muslim sister, imagine if you are in her place! What will you do?
What will you choose: pleasing creations or your Creator?
O dear sister! Do you guarantee that you will live for the next
minutes? Hours? Months?!!
No one knows when their hour will come? Or when will they meet angels
of death? So are you ready for that moment?
O non hijabi sister! What do youchoose : Pleasing yourself by non
wearing Hijab or your Lord?
Are you ready to meet Him without Hijab?
And what about you, sister whoare "in relationship" or "open
relationship", are you ready to meet your Lord today? Tomorrow?! What
do you choose pleasures of this Dunya or pleasures of akhirah?!
May Allah guide us all to do what pleases Him and grant everyone who
is reading these lines, a good ending, Ameen!

Islamic Article :-MY FAVORITE AYAHS
I was just reading Surah ale Imran when I came across these beautiful
andamazing verses…Even though I have read this surah many times before
but it felt as if I was reading these words for the first time…The
description of the things we love and then the way Allah [subhanahu
ta'ala] tells us about what's better…! An awesome dua and some hints
on how to acheive that high position!
So touching and so utterly mesmerizing! Jotting them down…Please do
read, recite, understand, and contemplate! :)
Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire – of women
and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, finebranded horses, and
cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life , but
Allah has with Him the best return.
Say, "Shall I inform you of [something] better than that? For those
who fear Allah will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath
which rivers flow, wherein they
abide eternally, and purified spouses and approval from Allah. And
Allah is Seeing of [His] servants -
Those who say, "Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our
sins and protect us from the punishment of theFire,"
The patient, the true, the obedient, those who spend [in the way of
Allah], and those who seek forgiveness before dawn.
"
(Surah Ale Imran, 3: 14-17)
Fascinating right? Subhan Allah!
And there is another beautiful verse in Surah as Sajdah which seems
related to these verses:
"And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes
as reward forwhat they used to do." (Surah as Sajdah, 32:17)
Rasoolullah [sallallahu alyhi wasallam] said, regarding this verse:
"Allah says: 'Í have prepared for my righteous servants what no eye
has seen, no ear has heard, and it has never crossed the mind of man.'
"
[Muslim, Trimidhi]
SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi, Amazing right?
Let us strive and work hard to gain that which 'Allah calls better'!
That which is supposed to be the BEST for us!
May Allah accept our efforts andreward us abundantly in this world and
the Hereafter! Ameen!

5. Cool and Tough Music--Cool and tough people only listen to two
bands: Widespread Panic and/or Phish. It is cool and tough to talk
about how much you like the Grateful Dead, but you don't have to
actually listen to them. It is extremely important to have as many of
the most obscure Widespread Panic and/or Phish bootlegs as you can
possibly find. As you play the bootlegs, narrate to your listeners how
many narcotics/psychedelics youwere able to force into your body
throughout the course of the particular concert you are listening to.
Also, you are never to refer to the concerts as"concerts." The cool
and tough terminology is"Show," i.e., "That was a bad-ass Panic Show,
man. Gee, I'm really cool. And tough."
6. Doing Drugs Like You're Cool and Tough--Cool and tough people take
lots of drugs. It is important that you can handle your drugs. It is
important that you can handle your drugsif you want to become cool and
tough. Cool and tough drugs include (but are not limited to): Ecstasy,
LSD, Blow, any andall pills, nitrous oxide (or any common substitute),
and the most important cool and tough drug, marijuana (see rule 7).
Cool and tough people arealways doing some or all of these drugs at
Shows, parties, football games, or just when hanging aroundthe
fraternity house on a Tuesday afternoon. No matter what people tell
you, drugs will most certainly make you cool and tough.
7. The Cool and Tough Way to Smoke Pot--We've already established that
it is definitely cool and tough to smoke marijuana. However, thereis a
method of doing this that will make you all the more cool and tough.
Cool and tough people always say they smoke really good pot, whether
it's all that good or not. This"good pot" is most commonly referred to
as Nugs, Dank, KB, Dodja, or Nadge. Also, cool and tough people spend
a great deal of money on different forms of paraphernalia such as
glass pipes, one-hitters, and bongs. Refer to these materials lovingly
as your"piece." Only smoke pot with other cool and tough people. Have
arguments and debates over who smokes the most pot. Also, always offer
it to girls, no matter how straight they look. They may want to smoke,
you never know. Secretly, they want to be cool and tough, too. They
just don't like to admit it, sometimes.
8. Cool and Tough on Campus--The cool and tough man never walks alone.
In fact, he should strive to surround himself with other specimens of
coolness and toughness. The cool and tough man should do everything in
his power to observe and mimic actions, speech patterns, and the
general demeanor of everyone around them. The cool andtough man would
never try to be a special or unique butterfly. He knows the ancient
secrets of coolness and toughnesslike unoriginality and social
paranoia. The cool and tough man should always have a slight grin,
conveying an image of total control and enlightenment. And he should
be ready at any moment to belittle anyone he doesn't think is cool or
tough.
9. Cool and Tough Out on the Town--The first thing to remember here is
the party for a cool and tough person begins way before the party for
everyone else. Start drinking and ingesting narcotics sometime around
one in the afternoon and keep a steady pace until it's time to go to
the bar. Once you have reached the bar, make sure everyone there knows
just how fucked up you are. This way, they'll know that you are in
fact cool and tough. Some people will tell you to "be a gentleman" and
buy drinks for all girls you talk to. This is wrong. The cool and
tough person only buys drinks for girls he knows he can probably sleep
with later. Generally ignore all other girls. They are of no use to
the cool and tough man. After the bar closes, the cool and tough
person must alwaysdrive home. A cool and tough person would NEVER
allow someone elseto take them home from the bar, because doing so
would mean admitting that you were too fucked up to drive yourself
home. And that isn't very cool or tough.

weekend...

It was the spring of 2001 in Austin, Texas. The smell of spring break
was in the air, but none of my fraternity brothers had thecash or the
motivation to put together a trip. So we pooled what was left of our
brain cells and planned a road trip to Nuevo Laredo.
You will not believe what they do with donkeys in Mexico
There were 15 of us--14 guys and a girlfriend (you know the type of
girl who won't let the guy go anywhere without her). We called up a
Motel 6 in Laredo, about three hours south of Austin, and made
reservations for a Saturday, the weekend before UT's spring break.
That fateful Saturday around noon we gathered in the courtyard of our
house, coolers and knapsacks in hand, and headed towards the border.
On our journey at first, there were mostly pastures and then came the
desert. Finally, we got to Laredo and settled in before crossing the
Rio Grande.
Our first stop was the gringo-laden Senor Frogs. We had a couple of
drinks there, but it was early, around 9 pm, and no one was out yet.
And we needed a little more excitement than a bar all the American
high-schoolers go to.
So we made a decision that would change us all forever--we were headed
to "Boystown.""Boystown," 6 or 7 miles deep into Mexico, is just a
string of whorehouses andseedy bars. But we didn't care at the time,
we wanted to see the mythical donkey show. Myidiot friend got to
talking with one of the locals outside of Senor Frogs who promised us
that a ride, in three separate horse carriages, would be cheaper than
a cab--just not necessarily safer.
So we hopped into these carriages, and proceeded south. Not more than
a minute into the ride, the carriages split up. When my carriage
reached the slums, we were alone in the dark. The streets were dark,
because they had no electricity, and we had theone female, a busty
blonde, riding with us. We were scared beyond belief.I thought for
sure we were goners. The girl was crying, stray dogs were chasing us
and the locals (who we couldn't see due to the darkness) were yelling
and whooping it up from the sidewalks. Butour driver assured us we
would reunite with our friends in Boystown soon.
After what seemed like an eternity, but was probablyonly like 20
minutes, we turned down a narrow street, lit on both sides, that was
unmistakably ourdestination. We paid our driver, and marched into the
first doorway to find our missing compadres. We found 1/3 of our group
sitting around a table; the other group hadn't arrived yet. Let me
tell you, that I was never happier in my life to see my dumb ass
friends. We all hugged in celebration of our survival when the rest of
our group arrived intact.
Now we were ready to start partying. We had been so happy to see
eachother that we didn't even realize we were drinking beer in a
whorehouse. Mexican ladies, ranging from somewhat cute to old and fat,
were walking around struttin' their stuff. We drank beer there for a
while, and I'm glad to say none of my friends accepted the offers
to"fucky."
After a few more drinks, we ventured out in search of the donkey show.
Outside of the whorehouse, to our left, was a donkey , next to a large
yellow wall that read "Donkey Show" with an arrow pointing to the door
of the bar next door.
I shit you not.
So we went inside. It was basically the same as the first place, but
it was moreof a strip club than a whorehouse. We were all sitting
around drinking beer, trading horse carriage stories, and getting
restless for entertainment. Soon, a stripper got up on stage (which
was about a foot off the floor in the middle of the room) and started
doing her thing. Then a second stripper, then a third…
I kinda felt sorry for the third stripper, because none of my friends
were throwing any bills down, and there weren't very many other people
there. So I whipped out a dollar and waved it in the air. She saw it
and sauntered over to me, buck naked, and turned around. I didn't know
what to do, so I put it in the only placethat was presented to me--her
butt crack. Now my friends will tell you I wrapped the bill around my
finger and crammed it up her poop shoot.

Story - -It is more blessed to give than to receive Charity,
Charity in Islam
A young man, a student in one of the university, was one day taking a
walk witha professor, who was commonly called the students' friend,
for his kindness towards the students.
As they went along, they saw lying in the path a pairof old shoes,
which they supposed to belong to a poor man who was employed in a
field close by, and who had nearly finished his day's work.
The student turned to the professor, saying: "Let us play the man a
trick: we will hide his shoes, and conceal ourselves behind those
bushes, and wait to see his perplexity when he cannot find them."
"My young friend," answered the professor,"we should never amuse
ourselves at the expense ofthe poor. But you are rich, and may give
yourself a much greater pleasure by means of the poor man. Put a coin
into each shoe, and then we will hide ourselves and watch how the
discovery affects him."
The student did so, and they both placed themselves behind the bushes close by.
The poor man soon finished his work, and came across the field to
thepath where he had left his coat and shoes. While putting on his
coat he slipped his foot into one of his shoes; but feeling something
hard, he stooped down to feel whatit was, and found the coin.
Astonishment and wonder were seen upon his countenance. He gazed upon
the coin, turned it round, and looked at it again and again. He then
looked around him on all sides, but no person was tobe seen. He now
put the money into his pocket, andproceeded to put on the other shoe;
but his surprisewas doubled on finding theother coin.
His feelings overcame him; he fell upon his knees, looked up to heaven
and uttered aloud a fervent thanksgiving, in which he spoke of his
wife, sick and helpless, and his children without bread, whom the
timely bounty, from some unknown hand, would save from perishing.
The student stood there deeply affected, and his eyes filled with
tears."Now," said the professor,"are you not much better pleased than
if you had played your intended trick?"
The young man replied,"You have taught me a lesson which I will never
forget. I feel now the truth of those words, which I never understood
before: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.

ISLAMIC ARTICLE -:- The Bible on marriage of young girls with much older men
The Bible on marriage of young girls with much older men
As it is Christian evangelistsand other believers in the Bible who
have been bitterly reviling the Holy Prophet Muhammad on account of
his marriage with Aisha, we put to themthe practices of the great
patriarchs and prophets that are recorded in the Bible itself in this
connection. The main accusations regarding the marriage of Aisha are
that she was too young in age while the Holy Prophet was a much older
man, being fifty years of age, and that consent to marriage was either
not obtained from her or she was not capable of giving it.
Abraham
In the book of Genesis in the Bible it is recorded about Abraham:
"Now Sarai, Abram's wife, had borne him no children. But she had an
Egyptian maidservant named Hagar;so she said to Abram, 'The Lord has
kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my maidservant; perhaps I
can build a familythrough her.' Abram agreed to what Sarai said. So
after Abram had been living in Canaan ten years, Sarai his wife took
her Egyptian maidservant Hagar and gave her to her husband to be his
wife. He slept with Hagar, and she conceived. … So Hagar boreAbram a
son, and Abram gave the name Ishmael to the son she had borne. Abram
was eighty-six yearsold when Hagar bore him Ishmael." (Genesis,
chapter 16, verses 1–4, and 15–16, New International Version. Bolding
is mine.)
Firstly, it is evident that as Abraham (who then had the name Abram)
was 86 years old, Hagar must havebeen some fifty years younger than
him, and probably even younger, to bear a child. Secondly, the Bible
speaks of Sarai givingher maidservant Hagar to Abraham. So Hagar's
consent was not obtained but rather she was commanded by Sarai to go
and become Abraham's wife.
David
The first book of Kings in the Bible begins as follows:
"When King David was old and well advanced in years,he could not keep
warm even when they put coversover him. So his servants said to him,
'Let us look for a young virgin to attend the king and take care of
him. She can lie beside him so that our lord the king may keep warm.'
Then they searched throughout Israel for a beautiful girl and found
Abishag, a Shunammite, and brought her to the king. The girl was very
beautiful; she took care of the king and waited on him, but the king
had no intimate relations with her." (1 Kings, chapter 1, verses 1–4,
New International Version. Bolding is mine.)
So there seems nothing wrong, according to the Bible, in procuring a
young virgin, again apparently without her consent, whose duties
include lying with the elderly king in bed. The intention was
certainly for sexual enjoyment, otherwise there was no necessity of
looking for a young, beautiful virgin. A much older woman, perhaps a
widow, could have performed all these duties, including lying with the
king to keep him warm.
Mary and Joseph
The most famous marriage in Christianity is no doubt that of Mary,
Jesus' mother, with Joseph. While the following details are not in the
canonical Gospels in the Bible, it appears from other early Christian
writings (known as apocryphal writings) that Mary was twelve years old
when the temple elders decided to find a husband for her. They
selected the husband by drawing lots, and Joseph whom they chose was
an elderly man, being according to some accounts ninety years old. The
husband was selected and Mary was handed over to him, and she played
no part in his selection.
These accounts are summed up in the Catholic Encyclopedia, 1913
edition, which is available online, as follows:
"It will not be without interest to recall here, unreliable though
they are,the lengthy stories concerning St. Joseph's marriage
contained in the apocryphal writings. When forty years of age, Joseph
married a woman called Melcha or Escha by some, Salome by others; they
lived forty-nine years together and had six children …

Islamic Article ~A Cry for Help - Turn to Repentance
I am a young man, nineteen years of age, and have involved myself in a
great deal of sin. Even to the extent that I do not pray most of my
Prayers in the mosque, and I have never completely fasted the month of
Ramadaan in my entire life. Besides these, I have committed other sins
as well. I have vowed to repent many times before, however, after
doing so I lapse back into these same sins. The youths of my area are
just as bad, as are the friends that I associate with. And Allaah
knows that I have transgressed against myself and that whenever I
repent, I return backto the same sins. I hope that youmay direct me to
a path that willbring me closer to my Lord and distance me from these
evil actions of mine. Allaah - the Might and Majestic - says:
"Say O My Slaves who have transgressed against their own souls! Do not
despair of Allaah's mercy. Indeed Allaah forgives allsins, Truly He is
Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."[Soorah az-Zumar 39:53].
There is a consensus from the Scholars that this noble aayah (verse)
was revealed for the taa'ibeen (those who repent). So whoever
sincerely repents from his sins, then Allaah will forgive him all his
sins, as occurs in the saving of Allaah - the Most Perfect- :
"O you who Believe! Turn to Allaah in sincere repentance. Perhaps your
Lord may remove from you your sins and admit you into Paradise beneath
whichrivers flow." [Soorah at-Tahreem 66:8].
So in this aayah (verse), Allaah has made the removal of sins andentry
into Paradise dependant upon sincere repentance. And sincere
repentance is conditional upon: [i] abandoning the sin and keeping
away from it, [ii] having regret and remorse for committing the sin,
[iii] truly intending not to commit the sin again, [iv] remembering
the greatness of Allaah and hoping for His reward, whilst fearing His
punishment. Another condition for sincere repentance is that if due to
transgression, the wealth or property of someone has beenstolen or
usurped, then it must bereturned or forgiveness must be sought from
the one whose wealth, blood or honour has beentaken. However, if the
honour of a person has been violated and the situation is such that it
is not possible to seek that persons forgiveness, then plenty of du'aa
(supplication) should be made forhis welfare and he should be spoken
good of in those places where he had previously been backbitten, since
good deeds wipe away bad ones. Allaah - the Most Perfect - said
"Turn you all in repentance to Allaah, O Believers, in order that you
may be successful." [Soorah an-Noor 24:31].
So in this aayah (verse) Allaah the Mighty and Majestic - linked
success with tawbah (repentance)and points to the fact that the
repentant person will reach success and happiness, and if such a
person were to follow up this repentance with eemaan (faith) and doing
righteous actions, then Allaah would efface his evil actions and
change them to good actions, as Allaah the Most Perfect - said after
mentioning the sins of Shirk (directing worship that is due only for
Allaah to other than Allaah), taking a life without just cause and
fornication and adultery-:
"And whoever does this, will receive the punishment, The punishment
will be doubled for him on the Day of Judgement and he will live
therein in disgrace. Except for those who repent, have eemaan (faith)
and do righteous actions. For them Allaah will change their evil deeds
into good ones, and Allaahis Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." [Soorah
al-Furqaan 25:68-70]
And from the causes of tawbah (repentance) are humility and
submissiveness to Allaah - the Most Perfect - and asking Allaah for
guidance and ability, and that acceptance of one's repentance
isconsidered as a Favour from Allaah, as Allaah - the Most Perfect -
said:
''Call upon Me and I will respond to your supplication." [Soorah Ghaafir 40:60]
And He - the Mighty and Majestic -said
"And when My servant asks you concerning Me, say to them that I am
indeed near, And I respond to the supplication of the one who
supplicates to Me." [Soorah al-Baqarah 2:186].
Also, from the causes of tawbah is choosing good companionship and
friendship and following them in righteous conduct, whilst staying
clear of bad companionship. It is authentically related from Allaah's
Messenger sallaallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam that he said:
"A person is upon the way of life of his friend, so let one of you
look to whom he keeps as a friend."2 And the Prophet sallaallaahu
'alayhi wa sallam also said:"The example of a good companion and a bad
companion is like that of a seller of musk, andthe one who blows the
blacksmith's bellows. As for the seller of musk, then either he will
grant you some, or at the very least you enjoy a pleasant smell from
him. As for the one who blows the blacksmith's bellows, then either he
will burn your clothes or you will get an offensive smell from him."

Health:-Beware of Obesity
Advice of 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (radhiallahu `anhu):

"O people! Beware of obesity caused by food because that will surely
make one lazy from performing prayers and itis harmful to one's body,
and truly, Allah dislikes the obese man. Rather, you should observe
modesty (and intent) with regards to your provisions and food, as that
is closer to piety, far from excessiveness and strengthens one in
worshipping Allah `azza wa jall. And a slave will not fall into
destruction until his desires become dearer to him than his religion."
Some points:
*. This is with regards to obesity caused by food and overeating , not
involuntary weight-gain due to a medical problem .
*. Obesity (sumnah) weakens one's body and also weakens the soul's
spirituality ; this isone of the reasons why fasting is prescribed –
don't you feel closer to Allah when you're fasting? Don't you feel
humble and spiritually elevated? Preventing your soul from overeating
means tamingit and bringing it under control, so you can steer it in
the right direction.
*. Preferring your desires to the Laws of Allah willdestroy you, in
this life and the Next . The moment you obey your soul and disregard
the Signs of Allah, is the moment you've taken your soul as your deity
and guide. And don't expect guidance from a soul that opposes its
Maker.
*. Learn to be modest , and that means being modest in your food
intake (of course, don't starve yourself!). It's dangerous to accustom
yourself to (unlimited) luxury because then you spoil your soul and
without realizing it, you make it a master when Allah has made it a
slave. So be principled and avoid excessiveness (israf).
*. Be purposeful, even in food . If you're not hungry and you don't
need to eat, then don't. Do something else that's beneficial.
*. If you want to lose weight, all you need to do really is tame your
soul . In fact, if you have strong will/determination and have good
control over your soul, you'll lose pounds fast/

And Abu Sa`eed al-Khudri said, that the Messenger of Allah (S) said:
"Moses (AS) said: 'O Lord! Teach me something that I can remember You

Laa ilaha il-Allah is the stuffof legends. It is the calling card of
the Eternal Prime Mover. It has rights over us.It's a contract, an
oath, a promise to love Allah before the people, fear Allah more than
the people, and to ask ourselves in every situation, "What does
Allahwant me to do here?" It's avow to trust Allah before the people,
call upon Allah in times of hardship, thank Allah in times of plenty,
and know in our bones that our return is to Him.

Dua in Sujood
Is it essential that the du'aa's recited in prayer beproven in the Sunnah?
When praying, if the worshipper bows and prostrates for a long time,
does he have to recite all the adhkaar that are narrated from the
Prophet(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) or canhe say
whatever du'aa' he likes?.
Praise be to Allaah.
There is nothing wrong with a worshipper saying whatever du'aa' he
wants in his prayer, those that are narrated in the Sunnah– which are
the best and most comprehensive of du'aa's – or any kind of
permissible du'aa' that he wishes.
The one who recites du'aas that are narrated insharee'ah will be
rewarded for following what is narrated in sharee'ah, and he will be
rewarded for his du'aa'.
Among the texts which show that du'aa' in general is permissible is
the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him):
"Then let him choose whatever supplications he wishes." According to
another report: "Then let him choose whatever du'aa' he likes and say
it." Narrated by al-Bukhaari (835) and Muslim (402). This was narrated
concerning du'aa'before the salaam at the end of the prayer.
Shaykh 'Abd al-'Azeez ibn Baaz (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
It is prescribed for the believer to say du'aa' during his prayer in
the places when du'aa' is allowed, whether the prayer is obligatory or
supererogatory (naafil). The places where du'aa' is allowed are
prostration, between the two prostrations and at the end of the prayer
after thetashahhud and blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings
of Allaah be upon him) and before the tasleem, as it is proven that
the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to pray
forforgiveness between the two prostrations and it is proven that he
used to saybetween the two prostrations: "Allaahumma ighfir li
wa'rhamni wa'hdini wa'jburni wa'rzuqni wa 'aafini."
(O Allaah, forgive me, havemercy on me, guide me, enrich me, grant me
provision and keep me safe and sound).
And he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "As for
bowing, glorify the Lord therein, and as for prostrating, strive hard
in du'aa' therein because it is more likely that you will receive a
response." Narrated by Muslim in his Saheeh. Muslim also narrated from
Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace
and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
"The closest that a person is to his Lord is when he is prostrating,
so say a lot of du'aa' then."
In al-Saheehayn it is narrated from 'Abd-Allaah ibn Mas'ood (may
Allaah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings
of Allaah be upon him) taught him the tashahhud he said: "Then let him
choose whateversupplications he wishes." According to another report:
"Then let him choose whatever du'aa' he likes and say it."
There are many ahaadeeththat speak of this, and they indicate that it
is prescribed to say du'aa' in these places in the prayer, whether it
has to do with the Hereafter or with worldly matters, so long as the
du'aa' does not involve any sin or severingof family ties. And it is
better to say a lot of du'aa's that were narratedfrom the Prophet
(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). End quote.
Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn Baaz (11/171, 172).
He (may Allaah have mercy on him) also said:
There is nothing wrong with saying du'aa' during prayer, whether that
is for oneself or for one's parents or anyone else. Rather that is
prescribed, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon
him) said: "The closest that a person is to his Lord is when he is
prostrating, so say a lot of du'aa' then." … Then he quoted the
ahaadeeth that we have mentioned above, then he said:
So if he says du'aa' when he is prostrating or at the end of the
prayer, for himself or for his parents or for the Muslims, there
isnothing wrong with that, because of the general meaning of these
ahaadeeth and others. Endquote.
Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn Baaz (11/173, 174).
And Allaah knows best.

The moments spent in praying tahajjud are some of the most blissful
moments that you will ever experience..and this will be only when you
understand the surahs you recite and recite them as if you are having
a conversation with Allah - Most High! :) Make sure that you have in
your minda biiiig list of du'aas, requests, confessions, and yeah even
complaints that you can make/present to Allah in your sujood. :) A
person is closest to Allah in the position of sujood so make full use
of this in your night prayer! And experience the delight, peace &
satisfaction! In short...as my teachers say:"experience the sweetness
of eeman!" ♥ Insha Allah!

ISLAMIC ARTICLE -:- Cleanliness Prerequisite for Prayer
Cleanliness Prerequisite for Prayer
Allah's Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "The Salaat
(prayer) ofa person who does Hadath (passes urine, stool or wind) is
not accepted till heperforms (repeats) the Wudhu (ablution)."
[Bukhari]
"O you who believe! When you intend to offer prayer, wash your faces
and your hands up to the elbows, lightly rub (by passing wet hands
over) your heads, and (wash) your feet up to the ankles. If you are in
a state of Janaba, purify yourselves (bathe your whole body)." [Surah
al-Maidah: Ayat 6]
The method that Islam has adopted to keep the body clean and tidy all
the time is in accordance with man'smaterial temperament andnature. If
man were merelya bundle of spirit or soul, there would have been no
necessity of bathing, washing and cleaning the body. But since he
lives in the material cover made ofearth's elements, breathes on this
earth, makes use of its vegetables and minerals, and leaves the
excreta of his stomach on it, Islam has made Wudhu (ablution) and
Ghusl (bathing) compulsory for man so that he may keep clean of filth.

Story - - life n style - Wild wild South
Stunning views and sauntering rhinos. Wonderful waterfalls and roaring
lions. Here are the scenes from South Africa aswe drive from
Johannesburg to Kruger
In hallowed antiquity when the Big Bang was recent history and the
Earth was still a molten gaseous mass and finding its shape and
solidity, it is in Mpumalanga that the first stones of the earth's
crust cooled. Today Mpumalanga wears its age beautifully and driving
through this province of South Africa is, well, a collection of
breathtaking moments strung together.
I know this because, instead of flying from Johannesburg to Kruger
like most tourists do, I travelled by road through this province. It
was a good decision because though Mpumalanga is South Africa's
smallest province, its size isn't a yardstick for the excitement it
holds within its boundaries.
The first 200 km of the drive from Johannesburg were pretty
uneventful; it is after Dullstroom on R540that the drive started
making me gape around frequently. And this continued for the next 10
days that I spent from Dullstroom to Kruger. I spent my first
afternoon fly-fishing at a beautiful resort set in woodland with many
secluded lakes where guests can fish in peace. I caught three trout in
15 minutes. It was the perfect wind-down after a nine-hour flight
followed by a four-hour drive.
Beautiful landscapes
I spent the next two days driving across beautiful landscapes and
stopping by at wonderful waterfalls and hidden swimming holes.
Eventually, I got to Hazyview, close to the Kruger National Park.
Since I had the next day to relax at my hotel and enjoy the spa, I
promptly forsook that and was at Kruger Park's Phabeni Gate with my
little car at 6 a.m.
Kruger has such wide tarmac roads that I forgot Iwas driving in a
wildlife park — till a gentle reminder came my way in the form of a
2.5-ton double-horned rhinoceros that stepped onto the roadfrom the
foliage. I braked, and the rhino turned and sized up my car. It seemed
as if he were using the tip of his horn as an aiming device. But then
he perhaps decided the car was too inconsequential for his time and
effort, and ambled on. Thank heavens — he would have gone through my
car like a knitting needle through a grocery bag.
Kruger also has unsealed roads smooth enough for cars. On one of these
(RoadS10), I stopped at a kopje to take in the view, and a full-grown
angry lion stepped on to it and gave me a deep throated roar that
rattled the windows of my car and sent a chill down my spine.
Apparently, he was telling me to move on because a lioness also coyly
peeped out from behind the scrub on the kopje.
My two days before the last were in the Kruger area, and I spent these
at the very comfortable and luxurious lodge in the Sabi Sands Game
Reserve. This reserve has no fenced boundary with Kruger, so the game
move as they please between the two. On the game drives here with
naturalist Jonas and tracker Issac, I saw an entire bouquet of African
wildlife — lions, leopards, a brotherhood of buffaloes, plenty of
rhinos and huge elephants — at close quarters.
My final day in South Africawas an easy one in Hazyview. The lodge
here is a drop-dead romantic hideaway that features comfortable,
air-conditioned tents discretely strung out along a gently flowing
river. Its spa is a canopied affair on the river bank, and so instead
of artificial lounge music I had the gleeful sound of the river as it
tumbled over rocks and gurgled along to match theskilful ministrations
of Melissa, my masseur.
It was the perfect end to my Mpumalanga driving trip — like the lovely
soundtrack that accompanies the closing credits of a feel-good movie
in grand cinemascope — packed with drama, adventure andexcitement.

Health:- Light-powered bioniceye invented to help restore sight
A retinal implant - or bionic eye - which is powered by light has been
invented by scientists at Stanford University in California.
Implants currently used in patients need to be powered by a battery.
The new device, described in the journal Nature Photonics , uses a
special pair of glasses to beam near infrared light into the eye.
This powers the implant and sends the information which could help a
patient see.
Diseases such as age-related macular degeneration and retinal
pigmentosa result in the death of cells which can detect light in the
eye.
Eventually this leads to blindness.
Wiring eliminated
Retinal implants stimulate the nerves in the back of the eye, which
has helped some patients to see.
Early results of a trial in theUK mean two men have gone from being
totally blind to being able to perceive light and even some shapes.
However, as well as a fitting a chip behind the retina, a battery
needs to be fitted behind the ear and a cable needs to join the two
together.
Prof Robert MacLaren from Oxford Eye Hospital explains how a bionic
eye implant works
The Stanford researchers say their method could be a step forward
by"eliminating the need for complex electronics and wiring".
A retinal implant, which works in a similar way to a solar panel, is
fitted in the back of the eye.
A pair of glasses fitted witha video camera records what is happening
before apatient's eyes and fires beams of near infrared light on to
the retinal chip.
This creates an electrical signal which is passed on to nerves.
Natural light is 1,000 timestoo weak to power the implant.
The researchers said:"Because the photovoltaic implant is thin and
wireless, the surgical procedure is much simpler than in other retinal
prosthetic approaches.
"Such a fully integrated wireless implant promises the restoration of
useful vision to patients blinded by degenerative retinal diseases."
The implant has not been tested in people, but has been shown to work in rats.
Dr Keith Mathieson, now at the Institute of Photonics at the
University of Strathclyde, was one of thelead researchers on the
project. He said: "Age-related macular degeneration is a huge medical
challenge and, with an aging population, is continuing to grow.
"This means that innovative, practical solutions are essential if
sight is to be restored to people around the world with the condition.
"The implant is thin and wireless and so is easier to implant. Since
it receives information on the visual scene through an infra-red beam
projected through the eye, the device can take advantage of natural
eye movements that play acrucial role in visual processing."

needs to be fitted behind the ear and a cable needs to join the two

ISLAMIC ARTICLE -:- The Good New Days
People often wish for a return to the good old days. First of all,
when we look at them objectively, they weren't really so good. Sure, I
have funny and pleasant memories from my youth, but I also remember
the confusion and loneliness.
I personally would not trade my life at this moment for my life at any
time in the past. Among other things, I now have a beautiful daughter
who I love more than life itself; my writing, which has evolved to
allow me to express my deepest convictions; and many small blessings
that add upto a pot of gold.
Secondly, the old days are called "old" for a reason. That's the past.
We can't goback.
What we can do is focus onthe journey forward.
"Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden
whose width is that (of the whole)of the heavens and of the earth,
prepared for the righteous; – Those who spend (freely), whether in
prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon people;-
for Allah loves those who do good; – And those who, having done
something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly
bring Allah to mind, and ask for forgiveness for theirsins,- and who
can forgive sins except Allah…." – Quran, Surat Aal Imran, 3:133-135
This is how we make a better future for ourselves and our families,
Insha'Allah. Letting go of anger, forgiving, asking forgiveness,
giving to the poor and needy, and racingto Allah. The Almighty has
given us the formula. This is how, instead of yearning for the good
old days, we create good new days! Our future can be as good as the
past ever was; it can bebetter, brighter and happier.
Let's build the good new days.

ISLAMIC ARTICLE -:- Living Better Than Kings
We live better than the kings and queens of the past. We have
amenities that would have seemed like magic to them. Food from all
over the world on demand, indoor plumbing, electricity, air
conditioning, radio, TV, computers, internet, medical care, education…
These modern conveniences meet our physical needs, but they don't fill
our spirits. Be grateful to Allah for what you have, live simply, and
don't overload your soul with distractions. Focus on your relationship
with Allah. Be at peace with yourself.
If your life is still lacking in some way, then make a change. Create
a goal, and take a step. You have all the tools you need. Your most
important tools are not tablet computers and smart phones. They are
courage, faith, and the ability to say, "Yes! I am someone, I matter,
and I will follow my dream."

HADEES:->- Virtue of reciting Bismillahupon Tripping or Falling
"A person who was riding behind the Prophet said, 'We were on a trip
when the Prophet's animal tripped, so I said, `Cursed isShaytan.' The
Prophet (sallAllahu Alyhi wasallam) heard this & said, "Do not say,
'Cursed is Shaytan,' for if you say these words, Shaytan becomes
arrogant& stronger and says, 'With my strength I made him fall.'
Instead say, 'Bismillah,'for if you say that Satan will become as
small & weak as a fly." " (Recorded by Imam Ahmad in his Musnad)
