*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

1,5 million year old footprints is a brand new, shocking, severe blow to the imaginary evolution

The 21st century is the century when the collapse of Darwinism is
declared. Following the unveiling of 100 million fossils declaring the
collapse of Darwinism, the greatest blow to the theory is a newly
found human foot print fossil. Contrary to all the Darwinist claims,
this fossil indicates that CONTEMPORARY MAN WAS LIVING 1,5 MILLION
YEARS AGO
Darwinist scientists who uncovered the fossil agree that the fossil
theydiscovered in Kenya is THE SAME WITH THE CONTEMPORARY MAN. Among
the foot prints discovered, there is also one belonging to a child. The
measurements madeaccording to the size of the foot print, gaps between
fingers and thedepth of the earth revealthat the particular feet
print, which was discussed in Science magazine and then in news
channels such as Reuters and BBC News , belongs to a human being of
1.79-1.80 (5 feet 9 inches). The very same measurements alsomake it
possible to understand the weight, stride length and the gait. ALL
THESE MEASUREMENTS MADE ON THE FOOTPRINT REVEALED THOSE OF THE
CONTEMPORARY MAN. 1
As is also understood from the footprint, the thumb of this person, AS
IS THE CASE WITH CONTEMPORARY MAN, is parallel to other fingers. These
prints had an arch in the foot THE WAY CONTEMPORARY MAN HAS and short
fingers DEFINITELY CERTIFY UPRIGHT POSITION. 2
David Braun, a researcher of the South Africa Cape Town University,
states the following about the fossil:
"It was kind of creepy excavating these things to see all of a sudden
something that looks so dramatically like something that you yourself
could have made 20 minutes earlier in some kind of wet sediment just
next to thesite,"
Braun added:
"These could quite easilyhave been made on the beach today."
This fact, which is openlyconfessed by Darwinist scientists and
Darwinists publications, is not likelyto be rejected. Claiming until
presence that contemporary man appeared on Earth 200,000 years ago,
Darwinists made up an imaginary scenario of evolution and made
speculations upon it. However this foot print dating back to 1.5
million years, has the potency to remove all Darwinist speculations.
There are millions of fossils refuting Darwinism. However, as is
seen openly, even a single one of them has the potency to totally
eliminate this obsolete theory.
It is High Time DarwinistsShould Put an End to Homo Erectu s Hoax
Despite this definite, clear and perfect fact, some of the Darwinist
publications have not neglected to continue evolutionist propaganda,
which theyhave made a tradition of, and claimed that these footprints
belong to Homo Erectus . HOWEVER, THIS IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE.
Homo Erectus story is thefalse ring required by the fraudulent
sequence made up by Darwinists for the imaginary evolution of man.
Darwinists deceived people for years by placing Austrolapitecus ,
which is in its real sense an ape lineage, in this imaginary sequence,
and Homo Erectus , which is no different from contemporary man, between
man and ape.
The most important references of evolutionists in calling Homo Erectus
"primitive"are its skull's volume (900-1100 cc.), which is smaller
than contemporary man's average skull volume, and its thick eyebrow
protrusion. However, there are also many people living in our day
having the same average skull volume with Homo Erectus (for instance,
pigmy) and there are also eyebrow protrusions in various races. (for
instance Australian Aborigines). Itis a known fact that intelligence
changes not according to the brain's volume but according to the
organization within the brain. Consequently, it is not possible to
label Homo Erectus as "primitive."
In this particular example it is clear that readers are face to face
with Darwinist propaganda. The fossil in question is a footprint. We
can understand the basic features of the living being mentioned above
from the footprint and itprovides important information. However, itis
not possible to determine the skull volume of a human or the thickness
of eyebrow protrusion from this footprint. As mentioned before, even
if the living being possesses the features inquestion, this will not
show that it is different from contemporary man.It will only show that
it isthe same with one of theraces in our day, that is all.
Homo Erectus story is an outdated claim that is not even advocated by
Darwinists themselves. Making up such a great lie even in the case of
such an important footprint fossil related tothe fraudulent nature of
the story of the evolution of man, simplymeans to disdain readers and
scientists, and is a grave accusation directed toward them. The
scientific evidence refuting Darwinism will no longer be removed with
the same fake methods.
Conclusion:
The process that began with the emergence of 100 million fossils
proving Creation, which Darwinists strive to hide with care, is going
on today with acceleration. The scenario of human evolution Darwinists
try to inculcate in people's minds for years by displaying fake skull
s hasended in an amazing defeat. By the hands of Darwinist scientists,
Allahunearthed an extraordinary evidence from the soil. In an
undeniable way, Allah showed them that no living being, including
human beings, has ever changed. Darwinist scientists have
confessedthis in Darwinist publications in their own words. Allah,
with His name al-Jabbar (The Powerful, the Irresistible) made them
confess Darwinism's collapse. THIS IS AN INEVITABLE END OF DARWINISM.
THIS IS THE PROMISE OF OUR LORD. The Glorious Allah will eliminate
this deviant hoax and definitely solidify the truth.
... By His Words Allah wipes out the false and confirms the truth. He
knows what the heart contains. (Surat ash-Shura, 24)

The Vatican has surrendered to Darwinists

The Vatican, the symbol of Christianity, HAS OFFICIALLY SURRENDERED TO
THE DARWINIST DICTATORSHIP.
Instead of praising Almighty Allah (God), introducing the
beautiescreated by Him and joyfully reaching out to people and
remembering our Lord as the One and Only by showing Allah's sublime
creative power, THE VATICAN IS MAKING PROPAGANDA FOR DARWINISM, which
is currently leading the world toward atheism and a system of
repression.
The Vatican HAS SUBMITTED TO THE THREATS OF THE DARWINIST
DICTATORSHIP,which has taken over the whole world with threats and
despotism.
The way the Vatican plays host to Darwinist propaganda is truly
disgraceful. Not only has the Vatican hosted the best-known
representatives of Darwinist propaganda and supported their ideas, it
has also led the way IN SILENCING proponents of Creation during an
activity it arranged under the name of a scientific conference. At
this conference, held at the Vatican and the scene of evident and
blatant atheist propaganda, PROPONENTS OF THE FACT OF CREATION WERE
PREVENTED FROM TAKING PART, THE MICROPHONE WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM
PROPONENTS OF CREATIONwho wished to ask questions during the
proceedings, and those people WERE EVEN ESCORTED OUT OF THE HALL. The
only reason forthis utterly unscientific and despotic behavior is that
Darwinists cannot tolerate the question "Do you have a single piece of
transitional fossil evidence?" that they have no answer to give to it
AND HAVE BEEN DEFINITELY VANQUISHED IN THE FACE OF IT. Under the
effect of their total rout, Darwinists sought asolution in completely
uncivilized behavior andimagined that they could secure victory, not
with scientific evidence, but by taking microphones away and trying to
have their intellectual adversaries thrown out of the conference hall.
According to the Reuters report, however, "charges of censorship,
undemocratic and unacademic behaviour began flying," and the Vatican
blatantly sided with Darwinism instead of with faith in Allah.
The Vatican is making a terrible mistake by playing host to such major
Darwinist propaganda. Terrified by the threats of Freemasons, atheists
andcircles intent on inflicting irreligiousness and oppression on the
world, it defended a deviant religion instead of the truth. It made
the mistake of thinking that these forces that act out of falsehood
are actuallyvery powerful. Yet they failed to consider that they have
no power at all in the face of the Omnipotence of Almighty Allah, and
that they are supporting a cause that has been defeated right from the
very start. And the Vatican IS FALLING INTO AGRAVE ERROR with that
attitude. It has rocked true believers' trust in it. The whole world
now knows, through the evidence provided in the Atlas of Creation ,
that evolution is a lie. By claiming that evolution is not
incompatible with Christianity and, moreover, being a mere spectator
to the silencing of proponents of Creation by the Darwinist
dictatorship inits own home, the Vatican has attracted thecriticism of
the whole Christian world.
Almighty Allah will definitely protect sincerebelievers who strive on
His path and definitely grant them victory. The Vatican, which has
forgotten this under pressure from a superstitious ideology, must put
matters right. Itmust not forget that no power other than Allah can
bestow any good or harm, and it must espouse belief in Allah by
opposing Darwinism.
Darwinists imagine they can succeed with these sinister plains aimed
against the Christian world. Yet all their activities of this kind
have always ended in people turning to Allah and embracing Him more
closely. Indeed, that seems to be what is happening now from the
global reactions to the Vatican. Darwinists and those across the world
who have undertaken to espouse Darwinism and atheism HAVE BEEN ROUTED.
By Allah's leave, they will see the signs of that defeat in an even
more powerful manner in the days ahead. - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

How can Dawkins explain the perfect eye in our brains?

The main reason why Darwin said, "the thought of the eye mademe cold
all over" is the fact he had no explanation to offer in the face of
the eye's extraordinary complexity. But the fact is that Darwin knew
verylittle about the eye. Genetics had not been discovered in his day,
there were no electron microscopes and nobodyeven dreamed what
microbiology was to reveal. Subsequent scientific advances revealed
the extraordinary structure of the eye in all its glory. Since even
the level of knowledge of the 19th century was sufficient toalarm
Darwin, who knows what he would have done had he known what we know
today.
Modern-day Darwinists are silent in the face of this extraordinarily
complex structure. Underthe burden of this defeat, the atheist Richard
Dawkins is trying to supposedly offer an explanation for the
complexity of the eye. He maintains that an organ such as the eye,
which possesses irreducible complexity and can only function when 40
components are all present and fully formed, can actually function if
not fully formed, despite this being scientifically impossible.
The fact is that the eye ceases to function entirely even in the
absence of ocular fluid alone. It is deprived of all function if there
are no eyelashes, no oil producing glands inside the eye or if the
optical focusing function ceases. If the eye is to function as an eye
it is essential that it have its perfect structure together with all
its component parts.
However, the really essential matter, and that which inflicts the
greatest defeat on Darwinists when it comes to the eye, is that IT IS
NOT IN FACT THE EYE THAT SEES AT ALL. Dawkins and other Darwinists
appear quite certain that it is the eye that sees and seek to bring a
materialist explanation to bear. But they are mistaken.
It is the photon that strikes the eye, and an electric signal that
travels from the eye to the brain. Departing from the eye, the
electricsignal reaches an area the size of a lentil known as the
visual cortex. And an image forms in this lentil-sized area. THERE IS
AN EYE thatsees the image that forms here. AND THAT "EYE" IS THE
ACTUAL PERFECT EYE. That eye sees the electricity reaching it. And it
perceives it with a perfect sense of depth, vividly, in motion and in
three dimensions, in bright colors and flawlessly. Yet that area is
totally dark. The place the signal is transmitted to, the visual
cortex and the interior of the brain are all in pitch darkness. But
the eye there sees a vivid image, clearer and more perfect than any
produced by even the most advanced technology. And it interprets these
images, feels sadness, joy, love and liking, performs analyses,
remembers things and draws conclusions. How is Dawkins supposed to
account for this eye?
It is impossible for Dawkins to account for itat all.
That is because the eye that perceives this moving, colored and
three-dimensional worldin our brains is OUR SOUL . The soul is
completely metaphysical and cannotbe explained in terms of any
material concept. That is why materialists, atheists and Darwinists,
who seek to account for the existence of the soul and everything in
material terms are in a state of panic. The soul bestowed on human
beings by Allah (God) totally demolishes Darwinism and all
intellectual systems espoused by Darwinists. That is why all atheists,
such as Dawkins, avoid all face-to-face discussion of the subject. It
is understandable for them to seek a solution by avoiding the issue
because they will alwaysbe defeated in the face of the perfection of
the seeing eye in our brains and the soul created by Allah.

Fathwa - She took Khul' from her husband after spending all her earnings on him

Question
I have separted from my husband throgh khoula 3years before. after 24
years we lived together.we have 2 daughters. within 6 months he got
his secondmarriage and now his second wife delivered a boy. my both
daughters married. I am a working lady and i have spent all earning
with him and bought 2 houses which isunder his name. because of khula
i could not claimany maint. fees from him.now he is inviting me to
re-union and promising he will look after me. but he refused to give
any property on my name. because of his short temperd and making
problems always at homeand beating when he was angry i got separated
him. i feel alone and even now also i am always remembering him. is
there any sin for me afterdivorce and he got second marriage still i
amremembering him? now he got a son so my daughters will not get any
share from his property if he is not willing to give anything for them
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify
that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad
, is His Slave and Messenger.
We have previously pointed out that Khul' is one irrevocable divorce;
so please refer to Fatwa 88502 . The irrevocably divorced woman
(unless she is pregnant) is not entitled to maintenance and her
husband cannot take her back except with a new marriage contract
because he has become a stranger to her. If the wife remembering her
husband after minor irrevocable divorce means her desire to return to
him and the like, then there is nothing wrong with that. However, if
what is meant is imagining sexual intercourse with him, then this is
not permissible. As for returning to him, you should not hasten to do
that as long as he used totreat you in that bad manner. If you want
that, then consult some wise people in that regard and offer prayer of
Istikhaarah (seeking guidance) to your Lord The Almighty and He will
choose for you what implies all good, Allaah Willing. For more
benefit, kindly refer to Fatwa 81434 about how to offerprayer of
Istikhaarah.
We would like to draw attention to some matters:
Firstly, if the wife helped her husband in building the house
voluntarily, then it is not permissible for her to ask him to
reimburse her for what she had spent. But if she spent on building the
house as a real partner, then she owns from the house a share in
accordance with what she had spent.
Secondly, if what the wife spent on her husband or on herself and her
children was a kind of donation and gift, then she has no right to ask
him to reimburse her for what she had spent. But if that was a loan,
then she can ask him to pay it back to her. It is her word that counts
in this regard and she has to take oath.
However, the cases of dispute can be settled through the Islamic
courts or the authorities that are specialized in looking into matters
of Muslims in the non-Muslim countries such as the Islamic Centers
because the matter needs investigation, more information and the like.
Thirdly, the husband should not prefer one of his children to the
others with a gift except with a sound reason. All childrenhave right
in the property he leaves after his death. It is not permissible to
deprive anyone of them from his share; be them males or females.
Allaah The Almighty says (what means): { Allaah instructs you
concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of
two females. } [Quran 4:11]

Fathwa - How humans are a burden on the earth

Question
salaam, sir we are from dust and return to dust then the verse of
surah rahman"sanafraghulakum ayyuhassaqalan " mean. The thing twist me
is we are the particles of earth then what are we burdenfor the earth
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify
that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad
, is His Slave and Messenger.
Ath-Thaqalaan refers to mankind and Jinn. They are called so because
they are carried on the earth. They are like the burden carried on the
animal as the scholars of Tafseer (interpretation ofthe Quran) have
stated. Being created from dust, this does not go against the idea
that humans are a burden on the earth. Although created from dust
which is a delicate substance, the reality of man became different
after he was created, in addition to the fact that dust itself is
heavy.
Ar-Raazi said in his Tafseer: " They are called so because they are
burdens on the surface ofthe earth. Although dust is a delicate
substance so that Aadam would be created from it, it is still aburden…

Fathwa - What Iblees looked like in Paradise is insignificant

Question
Assalmu Alaykum, Was Iblees good looking when he used to live in
paradise with the angels? Are some of the jinns good looking? Jazakum
Allah khayran
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify
that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad
isHis slave and Messenger.
We apologize for not answering this question as there is no benefit in
researching this matter. It is more appropriate fora Muslim to be
preoccupied with what benefits him in his worldly life and his
Hereafter, and to ask about matters that necessitate action and about
what benefits him in his religion and worldly matters.
Allaah Knows best.

3 Herbal Treatments to remove skin tags that actuallywork

I could go over the typical remove a skin with duct tape or fingernail
polish and they do work but can be painful. Instead, in this article I
am going to focus on herbal remedies to treat skin tags. The upside to
herbal remedies is that they are less invasive than other "fast"
remedies. The downside is that they take a little more time and
consistency in order for them to work....
Tea Trea Oil- Tea tree oil works very well for removing skin tags as
well as moles. In fact, tea tree oil is used on various skin
disorders. To use this all you need is a little tea tree oil and a
cotton ball. Soakthe cotton ball in the oil and apply it directly to
the affected area. Do this once or twice daily for up to 4 weeks or
until the skin tag vanishes.
Castor Oil- Most of you are too young to remember castor oil but this
oil was used on a wide variety of common ailments and can be taken
both internally and externally. The good news is that you will be
using castor oil as an external ointment (I still shudder whenever I
thinkof drinking that stuff). Here is what you will do. Take a little
baking soda and mix it with the castor oil to create a paste. I
suggest you add somecitrus oil as it will stink to high heaven. Apply
it to the affected area and cover with a band-aid. The typical time it
will take is 2-4 weeks before the skin tag vanishes.
Apple Cider Vinegar-Apple cider vinegar works very well for removing
skin tags and the good news is that you canbuy it in a grocery store
for fairly cheap. Just like tea tree oil, you simply dab some of it on
a q-tip or cotton ball and apply it directly to the skin tag. Unlike
the tea tree oil, Apple Cider vinegar may cause a stinging sensation
for a couple minutes after being applied. Typical time until theskin
tag vanishes?....2- 4 weeks.
Those are just 3 herbal treatments that you can use to remove skin
tags. If you don't mind waiting a couple weeks and can discipline
yourself to treating the skin tag at least once a day, then these will
naturally treat your skin tags from your home.

Theft

Allaah The Almighty wants Muslim societies tolive in peace and
securityso that every member would feel secure about his life, honor
and wealth. Thus, Islam prohibits aggression against people's lives,
honor and property. Moreover, Islam has also made them part of the
five necessary things thatmust be preserved, namely: religion, mind,
life, offspring and wealth.
Theft is a plague that endangers the security ofindividuals and
societies. Therefore, the Sharee ' ah warns Muslims against it and
deters those temptedto steal the properties of others. For instance
the Prophet, , would take an oath from a person who wanted to embrace
Islam that he would not commit serious offences, such as stealing
people's money. The Prophet, , said in this regard to somebody: "Give
me the oath [of allegiance] that you will not associate anything with
Allaah, steal or commit adultery…" [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]
Also the Prophet, , stated that a true believer whose faith is firm
would not dare to steal; He said: "An adulterer is not a believer at
the time he commits adultery, a drinker of alcohol is not abeliever at
the time of drinking, and a thief is not a believer at the timeof
stealing …" [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim] One such deterrent is the Hadeeth
which was narrated on the authorityof Abu Hurayrah in which the
Prophet, , said: "Allaah curses the thief who steals an egg, for which
his hand is cut off, or steals a rope, for which his hand is cut off."
[Al-Bukhaari and Muslim] That is to say, he steals an egg first, then
gets accustomed to theft until he steals a thing that is equal to or
more than a quarter of Dinar , which is the lower threshold where he
would deserve his hand to be cut off and the prescribed punishment of
Islam is implemented.
Consider how Islam terrifies Muslims against theft, to the extent that
the Prophet, , cursed the thief! There are also other proofs that show
how evil theft is. One of these proofs is the Hadeeth in which the
Prophet, , told us about some groups that he saw in Hell experiencing
their punishment. He said: "Hellwas displayed to me and you saw me
moving backfor fear that its heat might affect me. I saw a man who was
a criminal dragging his intestines inthe fire; he [was someone who]
would steal [the belongings] of pilgrims with his crook. Ifhe was
noticed he would say, 'It became [accidentally] entangled in my
crook'; but if he was not noticed he would take the [stolen object]."
[Muslim]
Amputation is the Ultimate Deterrent
If these deterrents do notwork and those with weak selves dare to
steal people's property, and their theft is brought before a judge who
proves their guilt according to the criteria that the Sharee'ah has
provided, the guilty handmust be cut off to deter the thief and
preserve people's wealth and security. Allaah The Almighty Says (what
means): } [As for] the thief, the male and the female, amputate their
hands in recompense for what they committed as a deterrent
[punishment]from Allaah. And Allaah Is Exalted in Might and Wise. {
[Quran 5:38]
When such a prescribed punishment was implemented in Muslim lands,
people were secure about their property. Traders and owners of shops
would leave the doors of their shops open and go to perform prayer
without fear of any aggression. However, when Muslim states adopted
man-made laws that theyimported from Europe, crimes that were spread
in non-Muslim countries transferred to them. The security of the
environment became weak when the prescribed punishments of Islam were
abandoned, and it was precisely for this reason that once an act of
stealing was reported to the Prophet, , he would apply the prescribed
punishment without favoritism towards any person, whatever his status
or lineage was. The Prophet, , declared it openly: "If Faatimah, the
daughter of Muhammad, were to steal, I would cuther hand off."
[Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]
The Prescribed Punishments are an Expiation
Implementing the prescribed punishment on the deserving offender
breeds security and deters people who are weak and easily tempted. It
also expiates the guilt of such persons and becomes a means of
repentance for him. 'Abdullaah ibn 'Amr ibn Al-'Aas said, "A woman
stole during the life of the Prophet and those from whom she stole
brought her to him. They said, 'O Messenger of Allaah! This woman
stole from us.' Her people said,'We will ransom her for five hundred
dinars.' The Prophet said: 'Cut her hand off.' Her right hand was cut
off. She asked, 'Isthere repentance for me?' The Prophet said, 'Yes,
today you are as free of the sin as you were on the day when your
mother gave birth to you.' Then Allaah The Almighty revealed the verse
(which means): } But whoever repents after his wrongdoing and reforms,
indeed, Allaah will turn to him in forgiveness. Indeed, Allaah is
Forgiving and Merciful. { [Quran 5:39] "
Some of those who hate Islam try to encourage doubt by criticizing the
corporal punishment thatAllaah The Almighty has prescribed. They do so
under the pretext that theft does not deserve such a severe
punishment. Their example in this regard is Abu Al-'Alaa' Al-Ma'arri,
who objected to this punishment, saying,
"How is it that a hand whose value is five hundred dinars of gold, be
cut off when it steals aquarter of a dinar?"
Al-Qaadhi 'Abdul-Wahhaab, a Maaliki scholar, replied, "When it was
honest, it deserved ahigh compensation, but when it proved
treacherous, it became valueless." Imaam As-Sakhaawi also said in
reply to this: "The honor of honesty made that hand precious, whilethe
humiliation of betrayal made it worthless. Thus, ponder on the wisdom
of The Proportioner."
We implore Allaah The Almighty to protect people and lands from every
harm and evil, and to spread safety, security and prosperity among all
Muslim countries. - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

Kindness to Neighbors

"Choose your neighbor before choosing your residence," is a widespread
Arabic proverb that means that it is according to the value and merit
of the neighbor that the price of the residence should be estimated. A
good neighbor is a source of happiness.
The Virtue of Being Kind to one's Neighbor in Islam
Islam considers the rightsof the neighbor to be extremely important.
Theangel Jibreel (Gabriel) continued to urge the Prophet, , to treat
neighbors with kindness until he thought that the Sharee'ah would
assign him a share of his neighbor's inheritance. The Prophet, , said:
"Jibreel kept on recommending me to treat neighbors kindly and
politely so that I thought that Allaah would order [me] to make them
[my] heirs." The Quran recommends treating neighbors kindly. Allaah
The Almighty Says (what means): } Worship Allaah and associate nothing
with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy,
the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your
side… { [Quran 4:36] Look how the Prophet, , exhorted Muslims to be
good to their neighbors and to honor them when he said: "… and whoever
believes in Allaah and theLast Day, should serve his neighbor
generously." The narration of Muslim states: "Should be good to his
neighbor."
The matter reached the degree that loving goodness for one's neighbor
is considered a part of faith under the Sharee'ah . The Prophet, ,
said: "By the One in whose Hands [1] my soul is, no slave of Allaah
has true faith unless he likes for his neighbor what he likes for
himself." A person who is good to his neighbor is the best of people
in the sight of Allaah The Almighty, as the Prophet said: "The best
companion in the sight of Allaah is the one who is best to his
companion, and the best neighbor in the sight of Allaah is the one who
is the best to his neighbor."
Who is the Neighbor?
The neighbor is the person who lives near one, regardless of whether
he is a Muslim ora non-Muslim. Scholars have different opinions
regarding the boundaries to which one is considered a neighbor. The
closest opinion to thetruth is that they are determined according to
what people are accustomed to regarding such a limit, and Allaah Knows
best. The degrees of neighbors vary: there is the Muslim neighbor who
is a relative, the Muslim neighbor who is not, the disbeliever who is
a relative, and a disbelieving neighbor who is not. All these typesof
neighbors share many rights while some of them are distinguished with
additional rights according to their state and degree.
Some Forms of Neighborliness
Some people think that the neighbor is only the one who lives near
your residence. Undoubtedly, this is one of the commonest forms;
however, there are otherforms that are included in the concept of
neighborliness. There is the neighbor at work, in the market, on the
farm, in the classroom, and many others.
Some Rights of the Neighbor
There is no doubt that the neighbor has many rights of which we will
mention some, the most important of which, are:
1- Returning his greetings and accepting his invitations: although
this is a general right for all Muslims, it is even more important
with regards to neighbors, as it has a good effect in spreading
amiability and affection.
2- Refraining from harming him: in fact, this is one of the greatest
rights of neighbors. Harming anyone, in general, is unlawful; however,
this ruling is intensified if the harm befalls the neighbor. The
Prophet, , strictly warned, in various ways, about harming the
neighbor. The Prophet, , said: "By Allaah, he is not a believer! By
Allaah, he is not a believer! By Allaah, he is not a believer." It was
asked, "Who, O Messenger of Allaah?" He said: "One whose neighbor does
notfeel safe from his evil." When it was said to him: "O Messenger of
Allaah, awoman performs voluntary prayers at night and fasts during
the day, but she offends her neighbors with her tongue." He said:
"There is no good in her; she is in Hell." The Prophet, , also said:
"He does not enter Paradise whose neighboris not secure from his
evil."
A man came to the Prophet, , complainingabout the harm of his
neighbor. The Prophet, , said to him : "Put your belongings in the
road." The man did so, and whenever people passed by him and asked him
why he had done so, and came to know about how his neighbor was
harming him, they cursedthis neighbor. Then, the bad neighbor came to
the Messenger of Allaah, , complaining about the people cursing him.
The Messenger of Allaah, , said: "Allaah has cursed you before the
people did."
3- Bearing the harm of the neighbor, which is a trait of noble,
chivalrous people and those of high aspiration. This is because many
people canrefrain from harming others, but bearing their harm with
patience while seeking the rewardof Allaah is of a higher degree, as
Allaah The Almighty Says (what means):
· } Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. { [Quran 23:96]
· } And whoever is patient and forgives - indeed, that is of the
matters [requiring] determination. { [Quran 42:43]
Al-Hasan said: "Being a good neighbor is not by refraining from
harming; rather, being a good neighbor is to bear harm."
4- Pursuing and accomplishing his needs: the Messenger, , said: "He
who spends the night satiated while knowing that his next door
neighbor is hungry does not truly believe in me." The righteous
predecessors would check upon their neighbors and make efforts to
fulfill their needs. Sometimes a Companion of the Prophet, , would
receive a gift and then send it to his neighbor, who would send it to
another neighbor, who would send it to another neighbor, and it would
circulate around more than ten houses until it finally reached the
first one again. When 'Abdullaah ibn 'Umar slaughtered a sheep, he
said to his servant, "Whenyou skin it, begin [distributing it] by
going to our Jewish neighbor." 'Aa'ishah asked the messenger of
Allaah, , "I have two neighbors, to which of them should Ioffer a
gift?'' He replied: "To the one whose door is nearer to you."
5- Concealing his secrets and guarding his honor: this is one of the
most sacred of rights. Due to living in the same neighborhood, the
neighbor may know some secret matters of his neighbor; he should
accustom himself to concealing these secrets with the intention that
if he does so Allaah The Almighty would conceal his secrets in the
worldly life and the Hereafter. However, if he reveals such matters,
then, he is subjecting himself to be repaid with the same kind of
treatment. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): } And your Lord
isnot ever unjust to [His] servants .} [Quran 41:46] In the
pre-Islamic era, theArabs would boast about guarding their neighbors'
honor. 'Antarah said: "I lower mygaze if my [female] neighbor comes
out untilshe returns into her dwelling." There was a Muslim poet who
said, "My [female]neighbor is not harmed if I am her neighbor and her
house has no curtains, as I behave as if I am blind when she comes out
untilthe shelter conceals her."
Finally, we should be aware that happiness, unity and the spread of
love among the membersof a society cannot be accomplished without
observing these rights and others which are brought by the Sharee'ah .
The reality of many people proves that these rights are being
neglected, to the extent that they may not know the name of their next
door neighbor. Some people usurp the rights of their neighbors and may
even betray their neighbors and trifle with their honor and the honor
of their women. This is surely the gravest of the grave major sins.
The Prophet, , was asked: "What is the greatest sin?" In his answer he
mentioned: "To commit adultery withyour neighbor's wife."
We supplicate to Allaah The Almighty to help us and all Muslims to
observe the rights of our neighbors.
[1] We believe in and affirm the attributes of Allaah that occur in
the Quran and authentic Hadeeths of the Prophet, , without distorting
their wordings or meanings, nor denying them, nor asking how they are,
nor drawing resemblance between Allaah and any of His creation. - -

Thinking Well of Others Relieves the Heart

Nothing relieves the heart and makes one happy more than thinking well
of others. Itprotects one from the harm of worrisome thoughts that
disturb his peace of mind and exhaust the body. Thinking well of
others leads to a sound heart, strengthens the ties of cordiality and
love among the individuals of a community, and frees the hearts from
hatred and rancor. The Prophet, , said: "Beware of assumptions, for
assumption is the falsest of speech, and do not be inquisitive, and do
not spy upon one another, and do not vie with one another, and do not
envyone another, and do not hate one another, and donot shun one
another; befellow-brothers and slaves of Allaah." If only the members
of the Muslim community wouldadhere to this sublime behavior, their
enemies would never dare to attack them and their famous policy of
"divide and rule" will never succeed because the hearts are united and
thesouls are pure.
Ways to Think Well of Others
There are certainly many ways that a Muslim can think well of others;
some of which are:
1- Supplication
Supplicating to Allaah The Almighty is the gate to every goodness. The
Prophet, , would ask his Lord to grant him a sound heart.
2- Putting Oneself in the Place of Others
If each one of us puts himself in the place of hisbrother when the
latter does or says something, this will help him think well of
others. Allaah The Almighty directs His slaves to this meaning in the
verse where He Says (what means): } Why, when you heard it [the
falsehood against 'Aa'ishah ], did not thebelieving men and believing
women think good of one another? { [Quran 24:12] In another verse,
Allaah The Almighty makes the believers feel as if they are one single
entity, to the extent that when oneof them meets his brother and
greets him, it is as if he is greeting himself. Allaah The Almighty
Says (what means): } But when you enter houses, give greetings of
peace upon yourselves - a greeting from Allaah. { [Quran 24:61]
3- Interpreting the Wordsof Others in the Best Possible Way
This was the habit of the righteous predecessors. 'Umar said, "Do not
think ill of a word that your believing brother utters as long as it
can beinterpreted in a good way."
Imaam Ash-Shaafi'i was ill once, and some of his brothers came to
visit him; one of them said, "May Allaah strengthen your weakness [He
intended to supplicate to Allaah in order to eliminate his weakness]."
Ash-Shaafi'i said, "If Allaah strengthens my weakness, it would kill
me!" The man said, "By Allaah, I intended nothing but goodness."
Ash-Shaafi'i replied, "Even if you insulted me, I know that you sought
goodness." Thinking well of others is true brotherhood, even in things
that cannot be interpreted in a good way.
4- Making Excuses for Others
When anyone says or does something that annoys or grieves one,
heshould try to find excusesfor him and recall the status of the
righteous who used to think well oftheir fellows and make excuses for
them. They would say, "You should make seventy excuses foryour
brother." Ibn Seereen said, "If you come to know that a brother has
harmed you with either a word or a deed, you should make an excuse for
him; if you did not find one, you should say, 'There may bean excuse
that I do not know of.'" When you exert your utmost to make excuses
for the words and deeds of others, you will save yourself the trouble
of assuming and you will avoid blaming your fellows excessively.
5- Abstaining from Judging the Intentions ofOthers
This is one of the greatestcauses that help one think well of others.
One leaves the intentions to the only One who knows them: Allaah The
Almighty, for He did not command us to check each others' hearts and
intentions, and thus we have to avoid harboring ill-thoughts about
others.
6- Recalling the Harmful Consequences of Evil Assumptions
The one who thinks ill of others lives in endless trouble and grief,
to say nothing of the fact that he loses all those who socialize with
him, even the closest people to him.It is natural that people make
mistakes, even unintentionally. Accusing others along with thinking
well of oneself is one of the evil consequences of thinkingill of
others. This is one way a person may be guilty of ascribing purity to
oneself that Allaah TheExalted forbade in His Book. Allaah The
Almighty Says (what means): } So do not claim yourselves to be pure;
He is most knowing of who fears Him. { [Quran 53:32] In another verse,
Allaah The Exalted criticizes the Jews when they ascribed purity to
themselves. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): } Have you not seen
those who claimthemselves to be pure? Rather, Allaah purifies whom He
wills, and injustice is not done to them, [even] as much as athread
[inside a date seed]. { [Quran 4:49]
Thinking well of others requires extensive training and striving
against one's self, particularly because the devil is inseparable from
man like the blood that runs through his body. He never stops his
attempts to sow dissension within the Muslims and stir up disputes
among them. Thinking well of others isone of the greatest means to
block this way before the devil. We ask Allaah The Almighty to Grant
us sound hearts and Help us to think well of our brothers and sisters.

Dought & clear, - How we should react towebsites that vilify Islam, and what are the ways in which we can supportIslam?.

There are many websitesthat attack Islam and revile Allah, His
Messenger, and his companions and wives in the worst terms. Thereare
some ignorant and immature Muslims who try to stand up to these sites,
but they come up with refutations that areconfusing and unclear, so
their refutation appears flimsy at the time when the specious
arguments of the others appear strong, thus they often end up doing
more harm than good for Islam. These (hostile) websites have no
credibility, so if one of those whom Allah has blessed with knowledge
– of whom there are fewwho frequent these websites – were to offer a
powerful refutation of the specious arguments, the owners of these
websites will completely delete the counter-argument or remove parts
of it so that it will appear weak and flawed. But if the refutation
comes from one who is ignorant, they will leave it. Why don't you
offer some words of advice to thoseMuslims who are lacking in
knowledge but who try to stand up to these websites, and warn them of
the seriousness of what they are doing. Why don't you tell those of us
who do not have much knowledge about ways in which we can support
Islam and call people to it?
Praise be to Allah.
Firstly:
The websites that speak ill of the religion of Allahand of His
Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) are no different
from the gatherings where people say similar thingsthat constitute
kufr. In both cases it is haraam to stay in such gatherings and it is
haraam to visit such websites, except for one who will object to what
they do and is able to put a stop to these offences. If he is not
ableto do that, and those people carry on with what they are doing,
then it is not permissibleto remain in that gathering and it is not
permissible to visit thosewebsites.
Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):
"And when you (Muhammad SAW) see those who engage in a false
conversation aboutOur Verses (of the Qur'an) by mocking at them, stay
away from them till they turn to another topic. And if Shaytaan
(Satan) causes you to forget, then after the remembrance sit notyou in
the company of those people who are the Zalimoon (polytheists and
wrongdoers, etc.)"
[al-An'aam 6:68]
"And it has already been revealed to you in the Book (this Quran) that
when you hear the Verses of Allah being denied and mocked at, then sit
not with them, until they engage in a talk other than that; (butif you
stayed with them) certainly in that case youwould be like them"
[an-Nisa' 4:140].
The scholars of Islam – inthe past and at present –have warned
ordinary Muslims against reading the books of those who promote
innovation andmisguidance, and against debating with heretics and
atheists, except for those Muslims who have knowledge of Islam and of
the beliefs and ideology of the person he is arguing against, lest the
speciousarguments of those who oppose Islam confuse the weak or
ignorant person.
We have discussed this clearly in the answers to questions no. 126041
, 92781 and 96231 .
Secondly:
Based on the above, it is not permissible for one who is lacking in
knowledge and insight to go to these websites and look at them; it is
also not permissible for him to debate with those disbelievers and try
to refute them, because he does not have strong insight, by which we
mean correct and sound knowledge that will protect his belief and with
which hecan stand up to the enemies.
Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
With regard to his words– i.e., the words of 'Ali ibn Abi Taalib (may
Allah be pleased with him) in his will – (in which he says of one who
is weak in faith): "Doubt will take root in his heart when he
encounters the slightest specious argument", that is because of his
lack of knowledge and insight. This is unlike the one who has deep
knowledge; even if specious arguments come to him like the waves of
the sea, they cannot affect his certain faith or instil any doubt in
his mind, because he is well versed in knowledge, so specious
arguments do not faze him. Rather, if they cometo him, he wards them
off by means of his knowledge, and the specious arguments will be
utterly defeated and crushed. Doubts can enter a person's mind and
prevent him from seeing the truth, but once he acquires deep
knowledge, those doubts will not have anyimpact on him; rather his
knowledge and certain faith will increase by refuting it and finding
out how false it is. But if he does not have deep knowledge, he will
develop doubts the first time he encounters any specious argument. So
he should deal with these doubts, otherwise they will accumulate in
his heart until they become very strong and control his thoughts.
End quote from Miftaah Dar as-Sa'aadah, 1/140
Even the seeker of knowledge is not permitted to enter these chat
rooms if he is not going to be allowed to speak the truth. If he knows
that his argumentagainst the disbelieving opponent will be erased, then
he should not stay with them at all or take part in their gatherings
or chat rooms, because his presence in places of misguidance will
cause certain damage without achieving any good suchas changing evil
or speaking out against it and enjoining what is good.
Thirdly:
As it is not permissible for the ordinary Muslim, or even for the
seeker ofknowledge or scholar, toenter these websites if they will not
be allowed to answer back, then what is the solution? Theanswer is
that the solution is propagating sound beliefs in chat rooms and
websites thatallow the people of Islam to speak the word of truth they
have, without erasing their words. The solution is to set up websites
that collect specious arguments and refute them on the basis of
knowledge, and to tell the Muslims to refer to these sites to learn
about their religion and find out what the enemies of Islam have
ofignorance and lies.
Fourthly:
Supporting Islam is obligatory for every Muslim according to what he
is able to do, whether he is an ordinary Muslim or a scholar, male or
female; he can do something to support Islam and support the Messenger
(blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). That includes the
following:
1.
Increasing his knowledge of Islam, seeking knowledge and learning, so
that he will be able to protect himself against the specious arguments
of the enemies of Islam, and so that he can increase in certainty
thathe is following the clear truth.
2.
The Muslim should be obedient to his Lord, may He be exalted, and he
should keep away from what He has forbidden. This is one of the
greatest things that the Muslim can do to support his religion.
Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):
"O you who believe! If you help (in the cause of) Allah, He will help
you, and make your foothold firm"
[Muhammad 47:7].
Shaykh Muhammad al-Ameen ash-Shanqeeti (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Those who have Muslim names but commit all kinds of sin then say
"Allah will support us" are deceived, because they are not among the
party of Allah who are promised His support, as is quite obvious.
What is meant by the believers' support of Allah is their support of
His religion and His Book, and their efforts and striving to make His
word supreme and to establish His limits on earth, obeying His
commands and avoidingwhat He has forbidden, and judging between His
slaves in accordance with what He revealed to His Messenger (blessings
and peace of Allah be upon him).
End quote from Adwa' al-Bayaan, 7/252
3.
He should play a part in spreading educational and da'wah websites
among Muslims and others, by making email lists that can be used for
correspondence or by corresponding with friends he knows so thateach
one may play his role in spreading this goodness and knowledge among
people.
4.
He can also support active Islamic websites and chat rooms on Paltalk.
The Muslim should also support Islamic activists who are playing their
role in supporting Islam.
5.
Enabling daa'iyahs and seekers of knowledge todevote their time to
calling people to the religion of Allah and teaching the Muslims
therulings of Islam. There is an urgent need to enable some of these
people to devote their time to undertaking the mission of da'wah and
education.
And Allah is the source ofstrength. - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

Dought & clear, - Can the foetus be aborted if the mother reads Soorat az-Zalzalah?.

One of the women is saying that if a pregnantwoman reads Soorat
az-Zalzalah, the foetus will be miscarried because of reading this
soorah. She also says that if she goes for ruqyah as prescribed in
Islam, she had to tell the raaqi that she is pregnant so that he can
avoid reciting Soorat az-Zalzalah over her, so that the foetus will
not be miscarried. Is this true? May Allah reward you with the best of
rewards and benefit the ummah by means of you.
Praise be to Allah.
The Muslim should not believe that any harm may be caused by reciting
some soorahs ofthe Qur'an; this notion is contrary to the words of
Allah, may He be glorified and exalted (interpretation of the
meaning): "Say: It is for those who believe, a guide and a healing"
[Fussilat 41:44].
There is nothing in the books of the fuqaha' or scholars, or in the
reports from the righteous early generations that anyoneused to warn
pregnant women against reading Soorat az-Zalzalah; rather those who
had memorised the Holy Qur'an, both men and women, have always been
eager to complete the recitation of the Qur'an within the periodin
which they usually do that, without any exception. The one who dares
to warn against reading a specific soorah -- even in a specific
situation -- has dared to do something serious.
Yes, it cannot be denied that this soorah or others may be
beneficialin making it easier for the pregnant woman to deliver the
baby if that isproven by experience, but that does not imply the
opposite, that it could lead to miscarriage at the beginning of the
pregnancy, because there can be no evil or harm in the words of Allah,
may He be glorified and exalted, under any circumstances.
Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Chapter on difficult birth: al-Khallaal said: 'Abdullah ibn Ahmad told
me: I saw my father writing for women who had difficulty in giving
birth, on a white cup or something clean; he would write the hadeethof
Ibn 'Abbaas (may Allahbe pleased with him): "There is no god but
Allah, the Most Forbearing, the Most Generous; Glory be to Allah, the
Lord of the Mighty Throne; praise beto Allah the Lord of the Worlds.
'On the Day when they will see that (torment) with which they are
promised (i.e. threatened, it will be) as if they had not stayed more
than an hour in a single day. (O mankind! This Quran is sufficient as)
a clear Message (or proclamation to save yourself from destruction)'
[al-Ahqaaf 46:35]; 'as if they had not tarried (in this world) except
an afternoon or a morning' [Naazi'aat 79:46]."
Al-Khallaal said: Abu Bakral-Marwazi told us that aman came to Abu
'Abdullah and said: O Abu 'Abdullah, will you write something for a
woman who has been having difficulties in labour for two days?
He said: Tell him to bringa large cup and some saffron. And I saw him
writing for more than one person and narrating from 'Ikrimah that Ibn
'Abbaas said: 'Eesa (blessings and peace of Allah be upon our Prophet
and upon him) passed by a cow that was having difficulty giving birth
and she said: O Word of Allah, pray to Allah to relieve me of the
difficulty I am in.
He said: O Creator of a soul from another soul, the One who delivers
one soul from another, deliver her. Then she delivered her calf and
stood up and began to smell him. He said: So if awoman is having
difficulty in childbirth, write this for her. And the ruqyah mentioned
above, if you write it for her it will be beneficial. End quote.
Zaad al-Ma'aad, 4/326
Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked the
following question:
Are there any verses thatcould be recited in orderto make childbirth
easierfor the woman?
He replied:
I do not know anything of that nature from the Sunnah, but if one
recites over the woman whose labour has begunverses that speak of
ease, such as "Allaah intends for you ease, and He does not want to
make things difficult for you"[al-Baqarah 2:185]; or that speak of
pregnancy and childbirth, such as: "nor does a female conceive (within
her womb), nor brings forth (young), except by His Knowledge"
[Fussilat 41:47]; or "When the earth is shaken with its (final)
earthquake, And when the earth throws out its burdens" [az-Zalzalah
99:1-2], – that will be beneficial, by Allah's leave. All of theQur'an
is healing; if the reciter and the one over whom it is recited both
believe in its effects, then it will inevitably have an effect,
because Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):
"And We send down from the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy
to those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism and act on it), and it
increases the Zalimoon (polytheists and wrong-doers) nothing but loss"
[al-Isra' 17:82].
This verse is general in meaning: healing and mercy includes healing
of hearts from the diseases of doubts and whims and desires, as well
as healing of bodiesfrom chronic diseases.
End quote from Fataawa Noor 'ala ad-Darb, Fataawa
al-'Aqeedah/al-'Ibaadah,tape no. 257, side A.
Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) also said:
As for experience, if you go through an experience and you reach a
conclusion that has a basis in Islamic texts, then this is a
confirmation of what is in the texts. But if the conclusion refers to
something that is not mentioned in the texts, then there are two
scenarios: if this conclusion is based on empirical science, then
undoubtedly it is valid and is to be taken into account; if, however,
it has to do with shar 'i matters, then it is not to be taken into
account (because there is no reference to it in the Islamic texts).
There is a basis for seeking healing by means of the Holy Qur'an,
because Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the
meaning):
"And We send down from the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy
to those who believe"
[al-Isra' 17:82].
There is a basis for this, so if some particular verses of the Qur'an
are tried for some disease and prove to be beneficial, this experience
is confirmation of what it says in the Qur'an about it being a healing
for people.
With regard to matters other than worship, it is undoubtedly subject
to experience and empirical science. If a person, for example, has
knowledge and experience of what the earth produces of herbs and the
like, and he goes out to the countryside and gathers what he thinks is
beneficial and tries it, then whatever conclusions he reaches may be
valid.
End quote from al-Liqa' ash-Shahri, no. 37, question no. 26
To sum up: none of the soorahs of the Qur'an can harm a pregnant or
breastfeeding woman oranyone else; rather they are good and
beneficial, and bring barakah (blessing) to the one who recites them
and the one who listens to them, by Allah's leave.
And Allah knows best.

Clear Answers - Isn't it true that Islam was spread by the sword?

No. This is not true. However, this is a common misconception in the
minds of many people. The Qur'an declares:
There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth
distinct from error (Qur'an 2:256).
This Qur'anic verse shows that God has made truth and falsehood
distinct from each other and people are therefore free to choose one
or the other. No one can be forced to believe in a religion since
belief is somethingvery personal. One who follows the Qur'an will not
try to force another person to believe.
Even the prophet Muhammad, on whom be peace, could not force another
person to become a Muslim. God revealed to him the following words:
And if your Lord willed, all who are in the earth would have believed
together. Would you then compel people untilthey become believers? It
is not for any soul to believe except by the permission of Allah
(Qur'an 10:99-100).
This instruction from God makes it clear that anyone is mistaken who
thinks that he or she cancompel others to believe. If God wanted, He
could make everyone believers, but rather has given them free choice.
Even so, no one can believe upon being forced. It is the grace of God
on a person that will result in belief. Is there a teaching more
beautiful than this? How could any true follower of the Qur'an turn
around and force his faith on others? On the contrary, the Qur'an
instructs its followers on how to call people to true faith as
follows:
Call unto the way of yourLord with wisdom and fair exhortation, and
reason with them in the better way (Qur'an 16:125).
Where does the Qur'an tell anyone to call peopleat the point of a
sword? It does not. God instructed his messenger, on whom be peace, as
follows:
Say: This is my Way: I invite unto Allah with sure knowledge, I and
whosoever follows me (Qur'an 12:108).
Here again, the call is to be made with sure knowledge, with clear
evidence. Putting these instructions together, a Muslim understands
that he or she must present Islam with clear evidence (i.e. sure
knowledge) and use wisdom and fair exhortation to reason with people
to accept the evidence for faith. Where is there any mention of sword
in all of this?
The Junior Encyclopedia of Canada says:
Islam is the fastest-growing religion worldwide (The Junior
Encyclopedia of Canada, Hurtig Publishers, Canada, 1990, Vol.2.
p.396).
What explains this phenomenon? Who is forcing anyone today to become
Muslims? Muslims are not even engaged in active preaching in any
noticeable degree. People are voluntarily coming into Islam because
they find that Islam makes sense.
Huston Smith discusses in his book entitled The World's Religions, on
page 256, how the prophet Muhammad, on whom be peace, grantedfreedom
of religion to the Jews and Christians under Muslim rule. The prophet
had a documentdrawn up in which he stipulated that Jews and Christians
shall be"protected from all insults and vexations; they shall have an
equal right with our own people to our assistance and good offices,"
and furthermore, that they shall "practice their religion as freely as
the Muslims" (Quoted in The World's Religions by Huston Smith, Harper
Collins, 1991, p.256). Smith points out that Muslims regard that
document as "the first charter of freedom of conscience in human
history and the authoritative model for those of every subsequent
Muslim state" (p.256).
So, was Islam spread by the sword? The following short answer comes
from Ira Zepp Jr., a non-Muslim, in his book entitled A Muslim Primer:
It is unfortunate that Islam has been stereotyped as the 'religion of
the sword' orthat Islam was 'spread by the sword.' The historical
reality is that the expansion of Islam was usually by persuasion and
not by military power. In any case, Islam cannot be forced on anyone;
if profession of the shahadah [i.e. the declaration of Islam] is
forced on someone, it is not true Islam (A Muslim Primer by Ira Zepp,
Jr., 1992, Wakefield Editions,US, p.134). - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

Clear Answers - What does Jihad mean?

The word Jihad represents a concept which is much misunderstood in the
West. The concept is explained nicely by the Christian scholar Ira 6.
Zepp, Jr. in his book entitled A Muslim Primer on pages 133-135. We
adapt from his answer the following:
The essential meaning ofJihad is the spiritual, psychological, and
physical effort we exert to be close to God and thus achieve a just
and harmonious society. Jihad literally means"striving" or "struggle"
and is shorthand for Jihad fi Sabeel Allah (struggle for God's cause).
In a sense, every Muslim is a Mujahid, one who strives for God and
justice.
Al-Ghazali captured the essence of Jihad when he said: "The real Jihad
is the warfare against (one's own) passions. Dr.Ibrahim Abu-Rabi calls
Jihad "the execution of effort against evil in the self and every
manifestation of evil in society." In a way, Jihad is the Muslim's
purest sacrifice: a struggle to live a perfect life and completely
submit to God.
Another form of Jihad is the striving to translate the Word of God
into action. If one has experienced God and received guidance from the
Qur'an, one strugglesto apply that guidance in daily life. So the
larger, more prevalent meaning of Jihad is the spiritual struggle of
the soul. In this case, Jihad isalways present for the believer
whether there is an external enemy or not. We should never reduce
Jihad to violence.
A third level of Jihad is popularly known as"holy war." The classic
passage is found in the Qur'an:
Fight in the way of Allah those who fight against you, but transgress
not the limits. Truly Allah likes not the transgressors (Qur'an
2:190).
It is crucial to note here that what is condoned isdefensive warfare;
Islam cannot justify aggressivewar. Muhammad and theTradition are also
against killing non-combatants, torturing of prisoners, the
destruction of crops, animals and homes. Adapted from Ira 6. Zepp,
Jr., A Muslim Primer (1992, Wakefield Editions, US) pp.133-135.
Robert Ellwood of the University of Southern California has the
following to say about the Muslim concept of Jihad:
Out of the community ideal of Islam comes the concept of jihad, or
holy war, which is designed to defend Islam and allow its social
practice, though not to force individual conversions, which is
forbidden. Since Islam in principle isa community as well as
areligion, presumably only an absolute pacifist would be able to
reject the theory of jihad out of hand, since other communities also
fight to defend or expand their ways of life. (Many Peoples, Many
Faiths by Robert S. Ellwood, 4th edition, Simon & Schuster, US, 1982,
p.346).

Wonders of Allah - Signs of Allah in Ants

Ants live in colonies and a perfect division of labor exists amongst
them. When we take a closer look at their systems, we shall also see
that they have a pretty interesting social structure. It will also
come to our attention that they are capable of sacrifice at a much
higher level than humans are. One of the most interesting points is
that - compared to humans - they do not know the concepts such as the
rich-poor discrimination and the fight for power that are observed in
our societies.
Many scientists, who for years have been doing extensive research on
ants, have not been able to clarify the subject of their advanced
social behavior. Caryle P. Haskins, Ph.D., the president of the
Carnegie Institute at Washington has this to say:
After 60 years of observation and study, I still marvel at how
sophisticated the ants' social behavior is. ...The ants thus make a
beautiful model for our use in studying the rootsof animal behavior.
(National Geographic, vol.165, no.6, p. 775)
Some colonies of ants are so extensive with respect to population and
living area, that it is impossible to explain how they can form a
perfect order over such a vast area. Therefore, it is not easy not to
concur with Dr. Haskins.
As an example of these large colonies we can give the species of ant,
called Formica Yessensis that lives on the Ishikari coast of Hokkaido.
This ant colony lives in 45,000interconnected nests over an area of
2.7 square kilometers. The colony, which is composed of approximately
1,080,000queens and 306,000,000 workers, has been named the "Super
colony" by the researchers. (Bert Holldobler-Edward O.Wilson, The
Ants, Harvard University Press, 1990, p. 1.) It has been discovered
that all production tools and food are exchanged in an orderly fashion
within the colony.
It is very hard to explain how the ants have maintained this order
without any problems, considering the vast area they are living in. We
must not forget that various security forces are needed for enforcing
law and maintaining social order, even in a civilized country with a
low population density. And there is an administrative staff leading
and managing these units. Sometimes, it does not become possible to
maintain the required order without problems despite all these intense
efforts.
Yet in ant colonies there is no need felt for police, gendarmerie or
guards. If we consider that actually the duty of the queens, whom we
think of as the leaders of the colonies, is just to maintain the
species, they do not have a leader or a governor. There is thus no
hierarchy based on a chain of command amongst them. Then who is it
that lays down this order and maintainsits continuity?
The fact that ants can establish such a great and perfect order is
proof that they are acting on the inspirationof a certain
"supervisor".The verse below fully confirms that God is the master and
supervisor ofeverything and that every living creature actson His
inspiration:
I have put my trust in God, my Lord and your Lord. There is no living
being He does not hold by the forelock and inspect! My Lord is on a
straight path. (Surah Hud: 56)
Article 2
Examining the movement of the ant is thought provoking. It moves its
infinitesimal legs in a sequential and extremely organised manner
knowing perfectly which leg should take the first stepand which the
next. It moves very rapidly without faltering.
The Ant lifts crumbs much bigger than its body. It carries them to its
nest with heart and soul. It travels distances that are very long in
comparison to its tiny body. On featureless land, with no guide at
itsservice, it can easily find its nest. Despite the entrance of the
nest being too small even for us to find, it is not confused and finds
it no matter where it is.
When one sees in the garden some ants, lined up one after the other,
ardently toiling to carry food to their nest, one cannot stop
wondering what kind of purpose these tiny living beings might have in
working so hard. Then one realises that not only does the ant carry
food for itself, but also for other members of its colony, for the
queen ant and baby ants. How such a tiny ant, which does not even have
a developed brain, knows diligence, discipline and self-sacrifice is a
point on which one needs to reflect. After pondering these facts, one
reaches the following conclusion: ants, like all other living beings,
act by the inspiration of Allah and obey His commands alone. - -

Wonders of Allah - Signs of Allah in Dreams

Islam tells us that a person in the grave is either enjoying a
peaceful stay or going through punishments depending on his/her deeds.
However, many people doubt this fact. This is due to the reason that
when a grave is dug, we do not see any fire burning people or gigantic
snakes biting dead bodies. All we see are bones mixed with soil. Well,
then where is the punishment or peace? Whether we can see it or not,
the promiseof Allah is true. Allah gave us many things to understand
things better. He tells us that there are signs in His creations for
those who think. To understand thisparticular issue (grave) better, we
can examine our dreams. Say, a person is sleeping right beside you. He
is seeing a dream where some people are trying to kill him. They catch
him and starts beating him. Finally, they take out a gun and shoots
him. Youare sitting beside this sleeping individual, but you do not
see any of these things. However, he is experiencing all these things,
it's just youcannot see. The same way, that individual in the grave is
going through all the things that are promised by Allah, it's just we
cannot see.
There are important purposes in dreams for someone who reflects. Such
a person thinks about how "realistic" the dreams are that he sees
while asleep, which in that way are no different in their realismfrom
the moment he awakes. For instance, despite one person's body lying on
the bed, indream he went on business trips, met new people, and had
lunch while listening to music. He enjoyed the taste of his meal,
danced to the music, became excited because of the incidents that
happened, became happy and unhappy, was afraid and felt tired. He could
even have driven a vehicle that he had not previously driven until
that day anddid not even know how to drive.
So, you can experience, see, touch, hear and taste things that are not
only real but also things that are unreal.
