*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

^.^ A simple Good Night becomes a special greeting when it is heartily given, by someone so dear. You have given me Good Night!

Narrated Thabit bin Lahhak (ra) : In the time of the Prophet (sal) a man took a vow to slaughter a camel at Buwanah. So he came to the Prophet (sal) and said: I have taken a vow to sacrifice a camel atBuwanah. The Prophet (sal) asked: Did the place contain any idol worshipped in pre-Islamic times? They (the people) said: No. He asked: Was any pre-Islamic festival observed there? They replied: No. The Prophet (sal) said:Fulfil your vow, for a vow to do anact of disobedience to Allah must not be fulfilled, neither must one do something over which a human being has no control. "Our Lord! Impose not on us that which we have not the strength to bear, grant us forgiveness and have mercy on us. You are our Protector. Help us against those who deny the truth" —-Ameen! (Quran 2:286)

*Store fresh garlic in a cool, dark place away from exposure to heat& sunlight. Garlic also needs to breathe and allowing the correct air circulationwill extend its shelf life. This will help maintain its maximum freshness & help prevent sprouting, which reduces its flavor. It will keep best in either anuncovered or a loosely covered container. Depending upon the age of the garlic & the variety, whole garlic bulbs will keep fresh for roughly just under a month. However, once you break the head of garlic, it greatly reduces its shelf life to just a few days. Garlic heads and cloves should notbe stored in your kitchen fridge. Ifgarlic is refrigerated then it is likely to go soft and moldy. The same problem is likely to occur if garlic is stored in a sealed plastic container. If garlic begins to sprout or go soft then it is past itsprime. Throw it out/

*Cornmeal contains tons of VitaminC which helps build and restore connective tissue in skin which will help heal wounds and minimize scarring. It also containsVitamin A which helps your skin retain moisture and elasticity which reduces wrinkles and fine lines. The acids in cornmeal also help fight off free-radicals such aspollutants in the air that can irritate the skin. The cornmeal itself also acts like a sponge, absorbing excess oil, leaving skin with a soft, matte appearance. Exfoliating with cornmeal is really easy– simply wet your face with some warm water and then pour about a teaspoon of cornmeal into your hands. Gently massage the cornmeal all over your face forabout a minute, making sure to avoid your eye area and giving special attention to any dark spots. When done, simply rinse offwith warm water and pat dry before applying a moisturizer. Also great for foot fungus, Nai fungus. Just soak feet 10 or 15 min with cornmeal and water, scrub the feet with the cornmeal. Do a full body scrub with cornmeal including face leave on afew minutes or as long as you like. If you do this regularly it will lighten freckles, even skin tone, get rid of rashes and skin patches. Its just a great all over face body cleansing scrub. For scalp problems including dandruff put a good amount of cornmeal in your hand with a good shampoo (about a teaspoonof shampoo) wet hair and work the mixture into scalp add a little water while massaging so it can get into the scalp. Let sit a moment then rinse well. Your hairwill be soft and shiny clean and your scalp will feel refreshed. Do daily or every other day until all symptoms are gone/

The Duties of Angels Angels have various duties, with each having a well defined role. The Qur’an says: “And there is not any among us, except that has a known position. And we are indeed the ones who glorify Allah.” (Qur’an 37:164-166) Angels teach us the benefits of specialization. So, in the Islamic society, some members must specialize in the Qur’an and its sciences, others in medicine, still others in agriculture and so on and so forth, so that the Muslim community becomes efficient and well balanced. Similarly, in the home, the responsibilities are divided. While the man is responsible primarily for supporting the family financially, the woman has an important role in the upbringing of the children, although she is by no means confined to only this task. Only Allah knows all the details and roles of all the angels: “…And none know the hosts of your Lord except He…” (Qur’an 74:31) Nevertheless, He has told us aboutsome of these angels through the Qur’an and the Sunnah. The Names and Roles of Some Angels Only a few angels are mentioned in the Qur’an and the Sunnah, Others are mentioned either by specific names or by role or their general nature of serving and worshipping Allah. Among those mentioned are Jibreel – This is the most distinguished of the angels, and isentrusted with carrying revelationto the Prophets. This includes bringing the Qur’an to Prophet Muhammed (saws), which is referred to in the following: “And it is surely the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. The trusted Spirit has brought it downto your heart, in order that you might be one of the warners, in clear Arabic speech.” (Qur’an: 26:192-195) Angel Jibreel (as) is also called ‘theHoly Spirit’, as mentioned in the Qur’an: “And we gave Isa, son of Maryam, clear proofs, and supported him with Ruh-al-Qudus (holy spirit ie. Jibreel).” (Qur’an 2:253) Mika’el – The one entrusted with the sustenance of creatures, and is also one of the most prominent angels./

Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama'ah Mowlid History The basic earliest accounts for theobservance of Mawlid can be found in 8th century Mecca, whenthe house in which Prophet Muhammad was born was transformed into a place of prayerby Al-Khayzuran (mother of Harun al-Rashid, the fifth and most famous Abbasid caliph).[4]Thou ghpublic celebrations of the birth of Muhammad did not occur until four centuries after his death. The early celebrations included elements of Sufic influence, with animal sacrifices and torchlight processions along with public sermons and a feast.[5][6] The celebrations occurred during the day, in contrast to modern day observances, with the ruler playing a key role in the ceremonies.[7] Emphasis was given to the Ahl al-Bayt with presentation of sermons and recitations of the Qur'an. The event also featured the award of gifts to officials in order to bolstersupport for the ruling caliph.
