*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Sahih Muslim

He was born in the town ofNishapur, in present day northeastern Iran,
into the Arab tribe of Qushair. His book is considered among Sunni
Muslims the most authentic collections of hadith, second only to Sahih
Bukhari.
Estimates on how many hadiths are in his books vary from 3,033 to
12,000, depending on whether duplicates are included, or whether the
text only or the isnad is also counted. The book is said to share
about 1900 hadiths with Bukhari's Sahih/

Major Sins

The major sins are those acts which have been forbidden by Allah in
the Quran and by His Messenger (SAW) in the Sunnah (practise of the
Prophet), and which have been made clear by the actions of of the
first righteous generation of Muslims, the Companions of the Prophet
(SAW).
There is some difference of opinion among scholars in this regard.
Some say thesemajor sins are seven, and in support of their position
they quote the tradition: 'Avoid the seven noxious things'- and after
having said this, the propeht (SAW) mentioned them: 'associating
anything with Allah; magic; killing one whom Allah has declared
inviolate without a just case, consuming the property of an orphan,
devouring usury, turning back when the army advances, and slandering
chaste women who are believers but indiscreet.' (Bukhari and Muslim)
'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas said: 'Seventy is closer to their number than
seven,' and inthis book Imam Dhabi goesthrough the 70 Major Sins
Supported by the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad
