Jinn Can Cause NightmaresThe Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Dreams are of three kinds: glad tidings from the Most Merciful; those which come from one’s own self; and frightening (dreams) from the Shaytaan.” [Ibn Majah]According to another hadith: “Dreams are of three types. Some of them are frightening dreams from the Shaytaan, to cause grief to the children of Adam.” [Ibn Majah]The Shaytaan has the ability to make a person see dreams which disturb him and cause him distress, with the aim of causing him grief and pain. Nightmares come in this category. We should seek Allah’s protection from the Shaytaan if we have a frightening dream and then not mention it to anyone/

But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-
