Quran n hadees

"O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion; indeed some suspicions are
sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would any of you like
to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it(so hate
backbiting). And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is the One Who forgives and
accepts repentance, Most Merciful." (Qur'an, 49:12)/

Narrated 'Aisha: Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said, "No
calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins
because of it, even though it were the prick hereceives from a thorn."
