Quran n Hadees

O you who have believed, do not take your fathers or your brothers as
allies if they have preferred disbelief over belief. And whoever does
so among you - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.
[Qur'an Surah At-Tawbah 9:23]

Abu Huraira (Radiy Allahu Anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah
(sallAllahu alyhi wasallam) said: "When the human being dies, his
deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial
knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him."
(Sahih Muslim, Book 013, Number 4005)
