Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Dought & clear, - Is there a du’aa’ which a menstruating woman can recite that brings a reward equivalent to Hajj or ‘Umrah?

I believe you're supposed to read it 70 times at the time of each salah and the rewards include something like hajj and umra for every vein of the body. If you could please please provide me with that dua'a as well as the translation, benefits, and hadith or whatever authenticity, i would really really appreciate it. I've been looking and I know I have it but somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.
Praise be to Allaah.
Firstly:
We do not know of any du’aa’ in the saheeh Sunnah that is like the one mentioned by our sister.
It is not permissible for anyone to attribute to the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) things that he did not say. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever tells lies about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1291; Muslim, 933.
Not every hadeeth that a person hears or reads in a book is saheeh, rather he must verify whether the hadeeth was indeed narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and it should be taken from trustworthy scholars who have sound knowledge of the hadeeth of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
It was narrated by Muslim in the introduction to hisSaheeh(5), and by Abu Dawood (4992) that the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “It is sufficient lying for a man to speak of everything that he hears.” Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani inSaheeh Abi Dawood.
Al-Nawawi said:
Because usually he hears both true and false things, and if he were to speak of everything that he hears, he would be lying because he would be telling of something that did not happen. End quote.
Secondly:
It is permissible for a menstruating woman to remember Allaah by reciting whatever du’aa’s and dhikrs she wants; there is no reason why she should not do that. And it is permissible for her to recite Qur’aan, as is the view of Abu Haneefah and the view favoured by Shaykh al-Islam (may Allaah have mercy on them both).
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said inMajmoo’ al-Fataawa, 26/190:
There is no basis for saying that she (a menstruating woman) is not allowed to recite Qur’aan. The quotation, “The menstruating woman and the one who is junub should not recite Qur’aan” is a weak hadeeth, according to the consensus of the scholars who have knowledge of hadeeth.
Women used to menstruate at the time of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and if reciting was haraam, as prayer is, this would have been something to which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) drew the attention of his ummah, and the Mother of the Believers would have known it, and that would have been something that was transmitted to the people. Since no one narrated any such prohibition from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), it is not permissible to make it haraam when it is known that he did not forbid it. Since he did not forbid it even though there were plenty of menstruating women around at his time, then it is known that it is not haraam. End quote.
But she should recite Qur’aan without touching the Mus-haf, either by reciting what she knows by heart, or reading from the Mus-haf whilst wearing gloves or something similar that will prevent her from touching the Mus-haf directly.
And Allaah knows best.

Dought & clear, - There is nospecific du’aa’ to be recited before readingQur’aan

Do we have to have wudu to touch the Quran? And must we cover our aurah (i.e the whole body inc. head cover for women) before we can read the Quran? Or can she just dress accordingly in her normal house clothes without the head cover?
Praise be to Allaah.
There is no specific du’aa’ mentioned in the Qur’aan or Sunnah, or in the reliable books of du’aa’s and dhikr, or in the opinions of the reputable scholars, that is to be recited before reading or memorizing Qur’aan. Rather what is prescribed is to seek refuge with Allaah from the accursed Shaytaan before reading, because Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“So when you want to recite the Qur’aan, seek refuge with Allaah from Shaytaan (Satan), the outcast (the cursed one)”
[al-Nahl 16:98]
If a person makes du’aa’ at any time, asking Allaah to make it easy for him to memorize Qur’aan or to enable him to understand what he has learned by heart, or any appropriate du’aa’ that he wants to say, without adhering to a particular time for reciting this du’aa’, then there is nothing wrong with that.
With regard to the obligation of having wudoo’ before touching the Qur’aan, you will find the answer to this question under question no. 10672.
It is not necessary to cover the parts of the body that you cover in prayer in order to read Qur’aan, so it is o.k. to read Qur’aan wearing regular clothes, without covering the head.
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen said in his discussion on sujood al-tilaawah (prostration required when reading certain aayahs of the Qur’aan): “Sujood al-tilaawah should be done as soon as one reads it in the Qur’aan, so it is o.k. to do sujood in any condition, even bareheaded etc., because this prostration does not come under the same rulings as prayer.” (1/249)
From his words it may be understood that there is nothing wrong with a woman reading Qur’aan with her head uncovered, because she will only read an aayah where a prostration is required when she is reading Qur’aan, so she will be reading it with her head uncovered. The Shaykh did not explain to us whether her head may be uncovered when reading Qur’aan.
We advise you to strive to venerate and respect the Qur’aan, and read it with care, focusing on the meanings, at any time and in any circumstances, whatever is easy for you. The fuqaha’ stated that it is o.k. to read Qur’aan in all circumstances, standing or sitting, sitting cross-legged or otherwise, lying down, riding or walking, because of the hadeeth of ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) who said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to lie down with his head in my lap when I was menstruating, and he would recite Qur’aan.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 297; Muslim, 301.

Dought & clear, - Ruling on attending an invitation knowing that it is for the occasion of someone’s birthday
Share
https://m.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-c.ak/hphotos-ak-xpf1/t1.0-0/10300086_691502037581651_8893294977567061565_n.jpgWhat is the ruling on attending an invitation for dinner at a friend’s house without it being clearly stated that this occasion is for the birthday of one of the family and without any congratulations or mention of the birthday, but the only problem is that the day of the invitation is the birthday and there will be a cake after the dinner?.
Praise be to Allaah.
It is not acceptable to celebrate the birthday of anyone, because if that is done as an act of worship in order to draw closer to Allaah, it is an innovation (bid’ah) because it is not mentioned in sharee’ah. If it is done repeatedly, as a habit, then it becomes an innovated festival or eid, and an imitation of the non-Muslims from whom these celebrations have been taken. See the answer to question no. 1027.
If a person is invited to a meal and he knows or thinks it most likely that it is a celebration of the birthday of one of the people, then it is not prescribed for him to attend, because his attending is approval of the evil deed and helping in it. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Help you one another in Al‑Birr and At‑Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allaah. Verily, Allaah is Severe in punishment”
[al-Maa’idah 5:2]
And Allaah knows best.
