Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

For children, - Islam and Greed
A store that sells husbands has just opened in Nairobi, where a woman
may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is
a description of how the store operates. You may visit the store ONLY
ONCE!
There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the
shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch . You may
choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a
floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a
woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband...
On the first floor the sign on the door reads: Floor 1 - These men
have jobs and love the Lord.
The second floor sign reads: Floor 2 - These men have jobs, love the
Lord, and love kids.
The third floor sign reads: Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love the
Lord, love kids, and are extremely good looking.
"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.
She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads: Floor 4 - These men have
jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop-dead good looking and help
with the housework.
"Oh mercy me" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!" Still, she goes
to the fifth floor and sign reads: Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love
the Lord, love kids, are drop-dead gorgeous, help with the housework,
and have a strong romantic streak.
She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the
sign reads: Floor 6 - You are visitor 4,363,012 to this floor. There
are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women
are impossible to please.
Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store. Watch your step as you
exit the building, and have a nice day!

Islam is Allaah's final Message to mankind in its most perfect form. This is proclaimed in the following verse )what means(:
"Today I have perfected your religion for you and I have completed thus My favors upon you and I have chosen for you Islam as your religion."]Quran 5: 3[
Furthermore, Islam is the only religion accepted by Allaah. The Holy Quran says )what means(:"And whoever chooses a way of life other than Islam, this will not be accepted from him. And in the Hereafter he will be among the losers."]Quran 3:85[
Thus Islam, stands as the only hope for the salvation of all nations -- nations that are in conflict with themselves and with each other; people who have lost faith and confidence in themselves and in others; States which are building their welfare at the expense of others’ lives; communities that have reached the immeasurable depth of moral degradation.
Humanity stands today on the brink of destruction. And it is our moral duty to extend to them Islam's brotherly love and compassion, so that they experience the community of faith and righteousness brought up by the best of educators, Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, )may Allaah exalt his mention( who said:"I have been sent to perfect the beauties of moral conduct."
And:"I have been sent to the 'red' and the 'black' alike".
Allaah, Most High declares )what means(:"And verily We have sent you as a mercy to the entire mankind."]Quran 21: 107[
"O Prophet, Truly We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner. And as one who invites to Allaah by His leave and as a lamp spreading light. Then give the glad tidings to the believers, that they shall have from Allaah a very great bounty."]Quran 33: 45-47[
The challenge is clear. It is now our turn to take up the responsibility of spreading Allaah's Message after the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam.
The Noblest Example Provided by the Messenger of Allaah:
Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, received the Divine Message willingly and took upon himself the greatest responsibilities ever conceivable. Undoubtedly, the prophethood posed the heaviest and most troublesome burden on the shoulders of Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam.
For, prophethood entails courage, boldness, steadfastness, wisdom, intelligence, judgment and caution coupled with compassion, mercy, love, magnanimity, selflessness, generosity, humility, justice, loyalty and countless other qualities of excellence and perfection. The Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, faced hardships, persecution, torture; put up with stubborn ignorance, relentless enmities, treacherous tribes and endured insolence, ill-treatment and oppression. Yet, in spite of all this, the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, carried out Allaah's orders.
The Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, was commanded by his Lord to call people to piety, modesty and submission to the Sustainer of the universe; to warn those who rejected the message and give glad tidings to those who believed; and to fight those who obstructed the path to the truth of Allaah's guidance.
The Prophet of Allaah, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, was solemnly reminded on a number of occasions through the Quran to preach and spread Allaah's Message. Allaah, Most High Says )what means(:"O Messenger! Verily We have sent you as a witness, one giving glad tidings and a warner and as one who invites )people( to Allaah by His permission, and an illuminating light."]Quran 33: 45-46[
The very word Messenger implies that the person to whom this name is attributed carries a message, which invariably concerns everybody according to his frame of mind, inquisitiveness and thirst for truth.
Allaah's address to His Messenger, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, recurs time and again to remind him that it is his duty to invite people to Allaah, to be steadfast in conveying Allaah's message to mankind and not to lose sight of this sublime goal, even for a moment. Allaah, the Most Glorious and the Most High, addresses His Messenger Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, thus )what means(:"…And do invite )them( to your Lord, for you are assuredly on theRight Way."]Quran 22:67[
Here are some more injunctions to the same effect )what mean(:"And let nothing keep you back from the signs of Allaah after they have been revealed to you. And invite )men( to your Lord, and be not of the company of polytheists."]Quran 23: 87[
And also )what means(:"... Say: ‘I am commanded to worship Allaah, and not to join partners with Him. Unto Him, do I call, and unto Him is my return.’"]Quran 13: 36[
It is a fact that Allaah, out of His Mercy sent many Prophets, may Allaah exalt their mention, at different times and places. Their mission was the same – all of them, without exception, invited people to believe in Allaah and worship Him alone.
Allaah, the Most Exalted, Says )what means(:"And verily We have sent to every nation a Prophet so that they worship Allaah and shun the idols."]Quran 16: 36[
And again, He Says )what means(:"O Messenger, proclaim )to them( what has been sent down to you from your Lord."]Quran 5: 6[

What Is Life?
Man's existence in this world and the creation of this entire universe are not mere accidents or products of a fortuitous nature. This universe, every single atom of it, manifests and leads us to the realization of a Loving, Merciful and All-powerful Creator. Without a Creator, nothing can exist. Every single human being is aware that their existence is dependent upon a Creator. He knows for sure that he cannot create himself. Therefore, it is his duty to know his Master, the Creator.
Humankind
Man is a unique creature. Allaah, the Most Exalted, established man as His representative or deputy, to govern over all other creatures in this world. He is endowed with the faculty of reason, which sets him apart from all other animals. Together with this faculty to discriminate and discern, man has been given the freedom to choose for himself a way of life worthy of his position as Allaah's representative, or to fall lower than the lowest of all animals or creations. Almighty Allaah Says in the Noble Quran )what means(:
"And ]by[ the soul and He who proportioned it. And inspired it ]with discernment of[ its wickedness and its righteousness. He has succeeded who purifies it. And he has failed who instills it ]with corruption[."]Quran 91: 7-10[
Man is born pure and sinless and has been given the choice to do righteous deeds or indulge in sins. Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, )may Allaah exalt his mention( said in an authentic Hadeeth )narration(:"No babe is born but upon Fitrah )innate nature, which is Islam(. It is his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian or a Magian."]Muslim[
Divine Guidance
The Creator, out of His abundant Love and Mercy for mankind has not left us in darkness to discover the right path by trial and error alone. Coupled with our intellectual capability to reason, our Creator bestowed upon us Divine Guidance that outlines the Criterion for Truth, knowledge, as well as the reality of our existence in this world and the Hereafter.
Revelations
From the beginning of mankind, our Creator sent Prophets, may Allaah exalt their mention, to convey His Revelation and to invite human beings to the Path of true peace and obedience to the one true God. This is Islam. This message has been conveyed to man in successive generations through the different prophets, may Allaah exalt their mention, who invited mankind to the same Path. However, all the earlier messages or revelations from Allaah Almighty were distorted by people of later generations.
As a result, the pure Revelation from our Creator was corrupted with myths, superstitions, idol worship and irrational philosophical ideologies. The religion of Allaah, the Exalted, in a sense was lost in a plethora of religions. Human history is a testament of man's drift between light and darkness, but Allaah, out of His Abundant Love for mankind, has not forsaken us.
Final Revelation
When mankind was in the depths of the Dark Ages, our Creator sent His final Messenger, Prophet Mohammed, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, to redeem humanity with the final Revelation, which represents the ultimate and permanent source of guidance for the whole world.
Criteria for Truth
The following criteria can best serve as a gauge to find out the authenticity of the last Revelation )the Quran(, the Word of Allaah:
1.Rationalteachings
Since our Creator bestowed reason and intellect upon us, it is our duty to use it to distinguish the truth from falsehood. True, undistorted Revelation from Almighty Allaah must be rational and can be reasoned out by all unbiased minds.
2. Perfection
Since our Creator is All-Perfect, His Revelation must also be perfect and accurate, free from mistakes, omissions, interpolations and multiplicity of versions. It should be free from contradictions in its narration.
3. No myths or superstitions
True Revelation is free from myths or superstitions that degrade the dignity of our Creator or man himself.
4. Scientific
Since our Creator is the Creator of all knowledge, True Revelation is scientific and can withstand the challenge of Science at all times.
5. Factual prophecy
Our Creator is the Knower of the past, present and future. Thus, His prophecies in His Revelation will be fulfilled as prophesied.
6. Inimitable by man
True Revelation is infallible and cannot be imitated by man. Allaah's true Revelation is a Living Miracle, an open book challenging all mankind to see and prove for themselves its authenticity or veracity. Almighty Allaah Says in the Noble Quran )what means(:
"Then do they not reflect upon the Quran? If it had been from ]any[ other than Allaah, they would have found within it much contradiction."]Quran 4:82[
