· Why are their form of seeing and sensing the world different from human beings?
The features of creation in cats’ eyes are one of the evidences of the perfection in Almighty Allah’s creation. Our Lord created cats’ eyes with the control and coordination features compatible with the needs of these beings. In one verse, the perfection in Allah’s creation is told as such:
“He is Allah – the Creator, the Maker, the Giver of Form. To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names.Everything in the heavens and earth glorifies Him.He is the Almighty, the All-Wise.” (Surat al-Hashr, 24)
Cats’ Night Vision Is Very Strong
Cats can easily distinguish colors like green, blue and red. However, the actual superiority of their eyes is that they are created for night vision. Cats’ eyelids open up at nights; so in environments of low light, the colored layer of the eye called the iris makes the pupil larger (covering more than almost 90% of the eye) and allows more light to come in. In environments with high levels of light, this system works in the opposite way to protect the retina, the pupil narrows and turns into a thin line.
There is a layer that does not exist in humans. This layer just behind the retiana reflects the light. Since the light that falls on this layer is reflected back, light passes two times through the retina. Therefore, cats can easily see in low light, and even in dark environments the human eye cannot see in. The reason that cats’ eyes shine under light in the dark is this layer. This layer is made up of tapetum lucidum crystals that reflect light. Thanks to these crystals, the light that falls on the back of the eye is reflected back to the retina. Some of the reflected light turns back from the lens, and causes the eyes to shine at night. Thanks to this structure, the amount of light the eye can see in the dark is increased, and more precisely, available light is better used. Therefore, cats have better vision in the dark. This is not a form of bio-luminescence, because the light is not produced by the animal, but is a result of light being reflected back.
Another reason that cats can see well in the dark is that there are more rod cells than cone cells in their retinas. As it is known, rod cells are sensitive to light only. They form a black or white image depending on the light that comes from objects, but they are sensitive enough to work even with little light.
Thanks to these special rod cells, all cats can easily hunt at night. As it is seen, Allah created the most appropriate eye structure for their living conditions and nutritional needs. Cats’ eyes have markedly different structures and characteristics in line with their own needs. This is one of the unique examples of Allah’s art of creation. Our Lord’s unique science of creation is revealed in one verse as such:
“ The Originator of the heavens and earth. When He decides on something, He just says to it, ‘Be!’ and it is. (Surat al-Baqara, 117)
Cats’ Visual Field Is Very Wide
In addition to cats’ perfect vision at night, their visual field is also much wider than that of humans. Whereas mans' visual field is limited to 160 degrees, cats can easily see up to 187 degrees. With these characteristics, they can easily detect threats. This characteristic of the eye is another example of Allah’s art and manifestation on beings in different ways. As it is told in the Qur'an, these creation characteristics are a form of example (lesson) for believers:
“There is instruction for you in cattle... ” (Surat an-Nahl, 66)
Cats’ Eye Structure Is Different Than Men
In cats’ eyes, there is a third eyelid called the “ nictitating membrane.” This membrane is transparent, and moves from one side of the eye to the other. As such, cats can blink their eyes without completely closing them. This third eyelid prevents the cat’s eye from being harmed while hunting. Moreover, it ensures materials such as dust and such keep away from the surface of the eye and that the eye stays moist; this is because cats do not constantly blink their eyes like humans. If cats blinked their eyes all the time to keep their eyes moist like humans, this would cause a great hardship for them while hunting. Not blinking their eyes is a perfect advantage Allah created for these beings.
Cats’ Eyes Are Sensitive To Movements
Cats cannot see close- range as clearly as people do and cannot focus on objects close to them. But our Lord granted sensory hairs with a very strong sensory mechanism to these beings. Cats can easily detect close-range thanks to their sense of smell and sensory hairs. Even though these beautiful beings cannot see close-range, they can very clearly sense distances between two and six meters. This distance is enough for them to be highly efficient hunters.
Another characteristic of cats’ eyes is that they are created sensitive to movement, are panoramic, and in accordance with long-distance visual acuity . Cat’s eyes and brains separate every movement, and everything moving frame by frame. Its brain can also sense more images than ours. For example, they can easily see electronic signs that we cannot detect on a television screen. This is a special talent Almighty Allah granted to all felines. This is because the essence of cats catching their prey is based on the principle of easily distinguishing moving objects.
The Detail and Variety Almighty Allah Created In Cats’ Eyes Is Flawless
Cats’ eyes are created with superior characteristics just like the eyes of all other beings. When the structure and characteristics of the eye are examined individually, it is seen that these eyes with different functions are one of the best examples of Allah’s art of variety. This variety cannot be explained by claims like mutation or natural selection. Almighty Allah granted the most suitable eye type according to the living conditions and nutritional needs of these living beings.
Acquiring knowledge about the amazing system created in the eyes of these beings is an opportunity for a person to see the power and knowledge of Allah Who created him and to appreciate His omniscience. What falls on a person after seeing this truth is to thank Almighty Allah, Who created the entire universe and to behave in the way that will please Him. Our Lord defines those who refuse His verses as “cruel” in one verse:
“Who could do greater wrong than someone who is reminded of the Signs of his Lord and then turns away from them, forgetting all that he has done before?…” (Surat al-Kahf, 57)
Cats are created in the most ideal way for their environments. They need to breathe, eat, hunt and defend themselves to stay alive. Therefore, they must see the world around them and distinguish their prey and their foes. Thus, they need very specialized eyesight to see their environment clearly. However, Almighty Allah, Who is the Lord of all worlds, granted flawless characteristics like special eye structures, shapes and visual sharpness to these beings. Our Lord’s creation of special eyes for cats is a source of lesson for believers as revealed in the Qur'an:
“And there is certainly a lesson for you in your livestock....” (Surat al-Muminun, 21)
The characteristics of cats’ eyes function with the laws defined by our Lord. Allah created these eyes and every detail they possess without any prior example. It is revealed in the verses that our Lord is the Creator of all things:
“Allah created every animal from water. Some of them go on their bellies, some of them on two legs, and some on four. Allah creates whatever He wills. Allah has power over all things.” (Surat an-Nur, 45)

Only a few number of young people will gather around him:
…THOSE WHO ARE CALLED in the verse 'CHILDREN' ('YOUNG'), will gather to him. THEY ARE FEW IN THE WORLD, and in the merit of school children, the strength of Mesiah will grow greatly.And this is the secret of the young in the verse. (15. Shemot: 15. The coming of Messiah, verse 130)
Rise of a star from the east side:
After 40 days, the pillar will stand from the earth to the heaven before the eyes of the whole world, andMessiah will be revealed.THERE WILL ARISE FROM THE EAST SIDE A STARthat will glow with variety of colors, and seven other stars will surround that star and will war with it on all sides, three times a day up to seventy days. And all the people of the world will see. (15. Shemot: 15. The coming of Messiah, verse 101)
Then the seventh window will be opened to the whole world, andits star is the star of Jacob. This is what Bila'am said,"There shall come a star out of Jacob"(Bemidbar 24:17),and this star will illuminate for forty days.When King Messiah will be revealedand all the nations of the world will gather before him,this passage will be fulfilled." (Yeshayah 11:10). (21. Trumah: 86. The stars, verse 860)
The disappearance of King Messiah [Hz. Mahdi (pbuh)]:
After seventy days, that star will be hidden andMessiah will be concealed for up to twelve months. Then the pillar of fire will return as originally, and in it Messiah will be concealed, and that pillar is invisible. (15. Shemot: 15. The coming of Messiah, verse 102)
Many signs will be seen with the coming ofKing Messiah [Hz. Mahdi (pbuh)]:
When Messiah awakens, so many other signs and miracles will be aroused in the world. (15. Shemot: 15. The coming of Messiah, verse 106)
In the time of King Messiah [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] the holy treasures will be revealed:
All the celestial treasures and all the hidden mysteries will not be revealed until the days of King Messiah.(19. Yitro: 19. "and all the people saw the voices", verse 299)
There will be pressure on real pious people and good people:
Before the coming of the Messiah, the Mishnah [Torah interpretation] scholars, sages of supernal wisdom, scholars of Kabbalah, scholars of the secrets in the Torah,will have a time of hardship, as they have nothing to support them. (32. Acharei Mot: 36. The seventy sounds of a woman in labor, verse 211)
Atthat time, She is opened to give birth to Messiah. This is owing to the pain and distress of the pious, men of good qualities, sages of secrets of the Torah, people of humility and shame, of fear and love, of kindness, men of valor, fearing Elohim [God], truthful men, who despise bribes, for whom it is a time of poverty. In the times in which the son of David [King Messiah] will come, a valiant men will go circulating from city to city but will not be shown favor. Those that fear sin will be despised.(32. Acharei Mot: 36. The seventy sounds of a woman in labor, verse 213)
Before the emergence ofKing Messiah [Hz. Mahdi (pbuh)], there will be pains in the world and in Israel:
At the time of the revealing of Messiah, the inhabitants of the world will find themselves in one distress after another and those who hate Yisrael will get stronger. (43. Balak: 47. In the time of Messiah, verse 505)
King Messiah [Hz. Mahdi (pbuh)]will accept all the pains for Allah's pleasure:
… There is one temple called the temple of the sick. The Messiah enters that temple, andcalls upon all the diseases, the pains and agonies of Yisrael to descend upon him. And they all descend upon him… This is the meaning of "he has borne our sicknesses..."(Isaiah 53:4). (25. Vayakhel: 24. The firmaments over the Garden of Eden, verse 336)
The name Lion:
…UNTIL THE APPEARANCE OF MESSIAH,THE SON OF DAVID, WHO IS CALLED 'A LION'...(20. Mishpatim: 17. A spirit ascends and descends every night, verse 475)
The verse, "May he have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth" (Tehilim 72:8), will be fulfilled in Messiah…The flag of Messiah, the son of David, will come, being of Judah,with a lion marked upon it... (20. Mishpatim: 18. verse 483)
King Messiah [Hz. Mahdi (pbuh)]will be the means for the faith of the entire world:
Oh, holy pious one, glad is the one who will hear from the mouth of Messiah. The sweet voice of his discourse is in the concealed matters of the Torah that he will explain…all congregate around King Messiah. And he will explain to them the Torah matters. Through the sweetness of his words and through desire, they get elevated to the Heavenly Yeshivah... (40. Shlach Lecha: 16. Reading of the Torah, verse 142)
Not everyone will be able to appreciateKing Messiah [Hz. Mahdi (pbuh)], he will be recognized only with the light of faith:
The Congregation of Yisrael is adorned with the crown that the Holy One, blessed be He, is going to crown King Messiah. That crown is decorated and engraved with the Holy Names.Everyone who merits it in this world, merits to see Messiah with the perfection of that crown.(21. Trumah: 10. "The watchman said, 'The morning comes'", verse 98)
In the time ofKing Messiah [Hz. Mahdi (pbuh)], idolatry will come to an end and true religion will reign:
… just asthe idolatrous nations of the world will hide when Messiah is revealed, as it is written: "And they shall go into the holes of the rocks" (Yeshayah 2:19); "and in the holes of the rocks" (Yeshayah 7:19).(44. Pinchas: 85. Additional Nefesh, additional Ruach, additional Neshamah, Verse 573)
Close to the days of Messiah, the window with this star shall rule the world.Therefore, wild animals will rule the world and new evil species will be formed one after the other, and thechildren of Yisrael will be in distress.When they will be pressed in the darkness of exile, the Holy One, blessed be He, will light up for them the light of day, which is redemption, and the supernal holy ones will accept the kingdom.Rulership will be annulled from the idol-worshipping nations... Then will be fulfilled: "Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun..." (Yeshayah 30:26). (21. Trumah: 86. The stars, Verse 859)

Frogs are perfect beings that can easily travel long distances by jumping
• How do frogs jump even though they have exercised for this?
• Why do they not get tired during these jumping movements?
Today athletes exercise and condition themselves for many years in order to jump long distances and work out to prepare their muscles to jump because jumping is a movement that puts a good of stress on all muscles. Since it requires all the muscles of the body working together, it causes a very serious amount of energy to be expended and it is also very tiring. But this movement, which is very tiring for man, is very ordinary and easy for a small frog. After a person jumps for a number of times, he is out of breath, but the frog is not even tired.
The Source of Frogs’ Jumping Characteristic Is Hidden In Their Creation
Some frogs can jump amazingly great distances. This jumping characteristic of frogs has caught the attention of researchers from the Brown University and they have examined the workings of frogs’ muscles with the help of X-ray technology by filming the jumping of frogs.
Henry Astley of Brown University, who examines the bio-mechanics of the jumping of frogs , points out the miraculous situation of a frog’s jump by saying “Muscles cannot produce such good jumps on their own.”
As a result of detailed examinations , it was found that the mechanical working of frog tendons function like water under pressure. What is behind the jump is the characteristic of a “stretched tendon.” When getting ready to jump, tendons stretch and kick back during the jump. Before the jump, leg muscles shorten, and load energy on every tendon directs this energy loaded on it with pressure and makes the frog jump. This pressure is so strong that it can cause the frog to jump far away.
In order to form this pressure, one quarter of the frog’s body weight accumulates on its legs. In other words, when this stretching and kicking back under pressure do not happen, frogs that dwell on tree tops and leaves in water cannot maintain their lives.
Scientists who examined the frog’s jump with three dimensional X-ray technology realized that the jump is more complex than this.
When the frog prepares to jump, its calf muscles shorten. After exactly 100 milliseconds, this muscle stops moving and energy is loaded onto the stretched tendons. During the jump, the tendon wrapped around the ankle-bone releases the energy with the speed of an arrow being released from a bow. This resonance causes the ankle joint to enlarge very fast and throws the frog forward with pressure.
Frogs’ Jumping Techniques Are A Work of Allah’s Infinite Knowledge
The jumping characteristic and muscle structure of frogs is important to understand that Darwinist opinions about reptiles learning to jump and turning into frogs are wrong. This great fallacy is because the jumping movement is seen by Darwinists as a very simple and learned movement.
However, while a being can learn to jump as much as it wants, it cannot alter the structure of its muscles or the workings of its tendons. In order to make an anatomical change in the body, all the genes and the DNA of that being would have to be re-written. The cells can build that tendon only if there is information on what the tendon will look like and how it will work in its genes.
No being has the means or knowledge to alter its own genetic structures and re-write its whole gene map.
Our Almighty Lord, Who is the Creator and Controller of all things in the sky, on the ground and in between, controls all genes and cells. Allah, Who creates every single gene and inspires to every cell the tendon it will build, provides the perfect qualities in living beings as an evidence for His Name, “He Who Creates Flawlessly.”

Frogs have not acquired the ability to jump through their own efforts or by coincidences, but were created with this ability right from the beginning. No doubt, Almighty Allah, the Owner of all things, is the One Who creates the frog. Allah controls the metabolism of frogs and all other beings on earth at every moment. In one verse of the Quran it is revealed as such:
"I have put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord. There is no creature He does not hold by the forelock. My Lord is on a Straight Path." (Surah Hud, 56)
Research done has shown that frogs’ muscle structures have an utterly perfect order. Like all beings on earth, frogs’ muscle structures are also created by Almighty Allah with the finest details.
"And in your creation and all the creatures He has spread about there are Signs for people with certainty."(Surat al-Jathiyya, 4)
Frogs Are One of the Creatures With Almighty Allah’s Superior Art of Creation
Frogs are created with qualities to live in many different environments. Therefore, they are found in all continents except Antarctica.
There are frog species that can live in forests, meadows and in the Himalayas and mountains over 5,000 meters high. They are densely populous in tropical regions. There are often 40 different species of frogs in a two square kilometer area of rain forest.
In some species of frogs, there are only male populations and in some only female populations, and in some both sexes guard their offspring.
Examples of Frogs’ Self-Sacrifice To Their Offspring
The male “ Small Arrow Poison Frog” of Costa Rica guards their eggs until they hatch for 10 to 12 days. The newly born tadpoles show an extraordinary effort and climb the female’s back and hold onto the mother’s back as if they are welded onto it. While all the offspring hold on, the female frog climbs over one of the trees of the Bromelia species in the forest. There are glass-shaped flowers on the spaces of this tree close to the sky. The flowers are filled with water. When the mother frog reaches these flowers, it leaves the offspring inside the flower. The offspring will grow safely here.
However, there is not any food to help the offspring’s nourishment in this puddle. Therefore, the mother frog returns and deposits unfertilized eggs for a period of six weeks in order for the offspring to become adults. The tadpoles feed by eating the protein-rich, carbon hydrate-rich egg.
Gladiator frogs are another frog species that protect the field where their eggs are located. The males of this species are created with extensions that are at the base of their thumbs and that look like needles. If another male frog attempts to get close to the eggs, they scare it away with these extensions.
Another species known as the Small African Black Frog (Nectophyrine afra) build nests made of mud near the lakes and rivers that slowly flow by. These puddles are filled with water. The frog makes a thin layer of film on this puddle and ensures the eggs are hung here. Thanks to this, they stay over water and take in oxygen. A tiny disturbance, for example a frog jumping or a dragonfly nose-diving, would tear the surface film and cause the eggs to sink to the bottom. In this case, eggs would die due to lack of oxygen. Therefore, male frogs patiently keep guard at the head of the egg cluster. During this guard, they flap their feet in the water and help more oxygen reach the eggs.
Another frog species named as “glass frogs” due to the transparent membrane on its abdomen does not guard its offspring. Allah inspired another method to them: They stick the groups of eggs on the rocks and plants on top of tropical lakes and rivers. When the eggs hatch, the tadpoles fall into the water. All of these conscious and sacrificing behaviors shown by different species of frogs to protect their offspring refute the basic claims of Darwinism. Darwinism, which claims that all living beings think only of themselves, and that there is a selfish struggle of life in nature, is at a dead end in the face of a single frog’s effort to protect its offspring. Moreover, the smart behaviors shown by these beings cannot be explained by coincidences as claimed by Darwinism, and shows these beings are created by Allah. However, Allah revealed in one verse of the Qur'an that there are clear evidences in such beings for men:
"It is He Who created everything on the earth for you and then directed His attention up to heaven and arranged it into seven regular heavens. He has knowledge of all things." (Surat al-Baqara, 29)
