*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Forty Ahadith on the Intercession of the Beloved Prophet
Dear Readers! You already have received my email titled, "The Radiant Quranic Rays on the Intercession of the Best of Creation". In the previous email, I presented the verses of Quran al-Kareem in support to our beliefthat the beloved Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi wa Sallam is the Intercessor of the Sinners by the grace of Allah Almighty. AlHamduLILLAH! I have received a very warm and enthusiastic response from my brothers and sisters but unfortunately, the opponents are still not satisfied. Rather, their sheer ignorance leads them to demand for Ahadith which reflect the true meaning of the Quranic verses and their commentaries presented earlier.
Well, I am very much amazed!! Are the Ahadith regarding Intercession such that they could be hidden from anyone? Scores of Sahaba, hundreds of Tabi'een and thousands of Muhaddithin have narrated them - all books of Hadith - the Sahihs, the Musnads, the Ma’ajims, the Jawami'es and the Musannafs – are all full of them. I present here a collection of 40 Ahadith, so that the faith of Muslims may be strengthened by them, and the deniers may burn in jealousy – especially those Ahadith which shall refute the unscrupulous, deviant & wicked wrong doers who have in their writings attempted to change the very meaning of intercession and tried to hide their rejection of intercession by changing its definition.
These Ahadith will make clear that our Master is the chosen and appointed one for intercession – he only is the refuge of the sinners, from him only is the succor for the friendless – contrary to what one deviant alleges that “whomever Allah wills, He will decree as an intercessor”.
These Ahadith will give the glad tidings that the intercession of our Beloved Prophet is not just for those who have accidentally sinned and are ashamed and continuously fearful of their deeds – as one wicked wrongdoer has claimed thus “The theft has been proved upon the thief, but he is not a habitual thief and he has not adopted theft as his profession – but rather the theft was committed accidentally due to his own sheer bad luck – so he is repentant and cries day and night(so for such is the intercession)”. No, surely not! I swear by Allah the Supreme Who has appointed the Holy Prophet as the Intercessor of the sinners, that his intercession is for the utterly sinful, wicked and oppressive Muslims like us who are so steeped in sins that even sins are ashamed of them.
Ahadith # 1 & 2
The Holy Prophet the Intercessor of the Sinners (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) said,
خيرت بين الشفاعة وبين أن يدخل نصف أمتى الجنة فاخترت الشفاعة لأنها أعم وأكفى أترونها للمتقين لا ولكنها للمذنبين الخطائين المتلوثين
“Allah gave me the option of choosing between the power of intercession or having half of my Ummah admitted to Paradise without any reckoning. I chose the power of intercession because that is more important and will be more useful. Do you assume that my intercession is for the pious Muslims? No, on the contrary, it is for those sinners who are steeped in sins and have committed grave crimes."[Imam Ahmad in his Musnad from Hadrat Abdullah ibn Umar. Ibn Maja from Hadrat Abu Musa Asha'ari]

Sunan Ibn Maajah, Baab Zikr ash-Shafa'ah. Vol. 1, Page 329

O Allah - Peace and abundant blessings be upon the Holy Prophet! And all praise is to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
Hadith # 3
The Holy Prophet the Intercessor of the Sinners (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) said,
شفاعتي للهالكين من أمتي
“My intercession is for those among my Ummah who have been destroyed by sins!”[Ibn Adi in Majma Zawaid, from Hadrat Ummul-Momineen Umme Salma]

Ahadith # 4 to 8
The Holy Prophet the Intercessor of the Sinners (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) said,
شفاعتي يوم القيامة لأهل الكبائر من أمتي

Hadith # 9
The Holy Prophet the Intercessor of the Sinners (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) said,
شفاعتي لأهل الذنوب من أمتي
“My intercession is for the sinful among my Ummah.”
On this Abu Darda submitted,
وإن زنى وان سرق
“Even if he is an adulterer or a thief?”
He replied,
نعم وان زنا وان سرق على رغم أنف أبي الدرداء
“Yes – even if he is an adulterer, even if he is a thief – contrary to the wishes of Abu Darda!!”

“I shall go towards Hell and knock at its door, so it will be opened for me. I will enter it - and praise Allah with such praise that has never been done by anyone before me, nor shall it ever be done by anyone after me – and shall remove from it every such person who has with a sincere heart said ‘None is worthy of worship except Allah’.”

Hadith # 15
The Holy Prophet the Intercessor of the Sinners (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) said,
“Pulpits of gold will be arranged for the Prophets and they will sit on them, and my pulpit will remain empty as I will not sit on it – but I shall stand humbly before my Lord fearing that I may be sent into Paradise while my Ummah remains behind me. I shall then pray, “O my Lord! My Ummah! My Ummah!” Allah the Supreme will proclaim, “O Mohammed! What is your wish regarding what I should do with your Ummah?” I shall submit, “O my Lord! Settle their accounts quickly!” So I will continue to intercede until I get letters to get released those who had already been sent to hell – to the extent that Maalik, the custodian of hell, will exclaim, “O Mohammed! You have not left even a bit of the Lord’s wrath among your Ummah!”[Hakim with sound chains and Tibrani & Baihaqi from Hadrat Abdullah ibn Abbas]

Ahadith # 22 & 23
The Holy Prophet the Intercessor of the Sinners (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) said,
“Although thousands of prayers of the Prophets are accepted, they are also bestowed with one special prayer from Allah – that they may ask whatever they desire and it will certainly be granted. All the Prophets up to Prophet Eisa have utilised their privileged prayers in this world whereas I have saved it for the hereafter – and that is my Intercession for my Ummah on the day of judgement. My intercession is for all persons of my Ummah who have left this world with faith.”[In the narrations of Hadrat Abdullah ibn Abbas, Hadrat Abu Saeed Khudri and Hadrat Moosa Ash’ari, the same subject as mentioned as in the narrations of Ahmed, Bukhari & Muslim from Hadrat Anas. O Allah – grant us the intercession, by the honour of the Prophet with you! Aameen.
Allahu Akbar!! O the sinners of this Ummah! Do you not see the extreme compassion and mercy of our Master the Holy Prophet upon you? For he was bestowed three such prayers from Allah the Supreme – to seek whatever he wished – and he did not seek anything for himself, but assigned them just for you. He sought two things in this world – these two were also for you – and has reserved one for the hereafter – for your dire need on that day, when except for our compassionate & merciful Master there will be none providing help, none removing your calamities.
Allah the Almighty, has rightly said,
عزيز عليه ما عنتم حريص عليكم بالمومنين رءوف رحيم
“Your falling into hardship aggrieves him, most concerned for your well being, for the Muslims most compassionate, most merciful.”[Surah Tauba 9:128]
By Allah! By oath of the One who has made our Master so merciful upon us, no mother can have so much love and affection for her only son as much as he has for every single person of his Ummah! O Allah – You indeed know our limitations and weaknesses, and You indeed know the lofty rights of his greatness upon us – so O Allah, the Omnipotent, the Supreme Being, the Great! Shower your choicest, abundant, auspicious blessings upon him and his progeny that befit his rights and that suffice his mercy!
Praise be to Allah! And what has the Ummah done in lieu of his mercy? Some raise doubts about his high status, some are sceptical of his power of intercession, some equal his rank to themselves, some get upset when he is glorified – while some allege acts of love to be inventions and some declare acts of respect and honour to be polytheism! May Allah save & protect us!! Aameen.
Hadith # 24
The Holy Prophet the Intercessor of the Sinners (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) said,
“Allah the Supreme granted me three prayers, so I have twice prayed that
اللهم اغفر لامّتي اللهم اغفر لامتي
‘O Allah, forgive my Ummah! O Allah forgive my Ummah!’
واخّرت الثالثة ليوم يرغب الیّ فيه الخلق حتى ابراهيم
And I have reserved the last one for the day when the entire creation will approach me with their needs, even Prophet Ibrahim!”[Sahih Muslim from Hadrat Ubai ibn Ka’ab]
Ref:
Sahih Muslim, Vol 1, Page 273
Musnad Ahmad, Vol 5, Page 127
Hadith # 25
The Holy Prophet the Intercessor of the Sinners (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) submitted to his Lord, “You have granted such and such favours to the other Prophets!” So Allah the Supreme proclaimed,
أعطيتك خير من ذلك (الٰى قوله) و خبأت لك شفاعتك ، و لم أخبأها لنبي غيرك
“What I have granted you, is better than all of that – I have preserved Intercession for you and not given this to anyone else but you.”
Ref:
Al-Shifa bi Tareefi Huqooqil Mustafa, Vol. 1, Page 134
Hadith # 26
The Holy Prophet the Intercessor of the Sinners (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) said,
إذا كان يوم القيامة كنت إمام النبيين وخطيبهم وصاحب شفاعتهم غير فخر
“On the day of judgement, I shall be the Leader of the Prophets, and their orator and the owner of their intercession – and I do not say this with any pride.”[Ibn Abi Shaibah, Tirmizi, Ibn Majah and Hakim – from Hadrat Ubai Ibn Ka’ab]
Ref:
Sunan Tirmidhi, Vol. 2, Page 201
Sunan Ibn Maajah, Page 330
Al Mustadrak lil Hakim, Vol. 1, Page 71
Ahadith # 27 to 40
The Holy Prophet , the Intercessor of the Sinners (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) said,
شفاعتي يوم القيامة حق فمن لم يؤمن بها لم يكن من أهلها
“My intercession on the day of judgement is a reality – so whoever does not believe in it will not deserve it.”[Ibn Manie’ from 14 Sahaba namely Hadrat Anas, Hadrat Jabir, Hadrat Ibn Abbas, Hadrat Ibne Umar, Hadrat Ka'ab, Hadrat Abi Darda, Hadrat Ibn Umar, Hadrat Abu Musa and etc.]
Ref:
Kanz al-Ummal, Hadith 39059, Vol. 14, Page 399
The unfortunate soul who belies intercession must therefore ponder upon the above mass narrated Hadith - and have pity upon himself by believing in the Intercession of our Master the Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him).
O Allah! Make us worthy of his intercession in this world and in the hereafter. O Allah, the Supreme! Shower your choicest abundant auspicious blessings upon our Master and his progeny and upon all his followers until the day of judgement!
Peace & blessings be upon all the Prophets, and May Allah be well pleased with the Companions. Aameen.

Women site, - Artificial Insemination

Allaah The Almighty Says )what means(:}And Allaah has made for you from yourselves mates and has made for you from your mates sons and grandchildren and has provided for you from the good things. Then in falsehood do they believe and in the favor of Allaah they disbelieve? {]Quran 16:72[. Allaah The Exalted also Says )what means(:}He gives to whom He wills female ]children[, and He gives to whom He wills males. Or He makes them ]both[ males and females, and He renders whom He wills barren. Indeed, He is Knowing and Competent. {]Quran 42: 49-50[.
In addition, the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said:"Marry women who are loving and very prolific, so I will outnumber all other nations through you."]Abu Daawood and An Nasaa'i[
Continuous reproduction is of a great importance in the life of man in order for him to preserve his existence and perform his mission of constructing the earth. Nevertheless, one of the spouses – or both - may suffer infertility which deprives them from having righteous offspring.
Science discovered artificial insemination as a means to treat infertility in the husband or wife and in the case of a delay in pregnancy in a number of cases, including:
- The blockage of the fallopian tubes extended to the two sides of the uterus or the absence thereof.
- The presence of antibodies in the secretions of the cervix and vagina.
- Low sperm count in men.
Forms of Artificial insemination:
There are various forms of artificial insemination. However, they are divided into: permissible according to the restrictions set forth by Islam or impermissible for contradicting the principles of the Islamic Sharee'ah. These forms can be presented as follows:
The Permissible Forms Include:
- Taking the sperm specimen from the husband and injecting it into the uterus of his wife by way of internal fertilization.
- Taking two samples; one from the semen of the husband and the other from the ovum of the wife. They are fertilized externally in a test tube. Then, the embryo is implemented in the uterus of the wife, the owner of the ovum.
Impermissible forms Include:
- Inserting the semen of a certain male, who is known to the doctor but unknown to the married couple, into the uterus of a woman. This is after having taken her consent and the consent of her husband provided that the donor shall not know to whom his semen will be given.
- Collecting the semen of many men and donating them to the sperm bank. Then, it is used to fertilize the woman who requests fertilization.
- External fertilization in a test tube between the sperm of a man and an ovum of a woman who is not his wife and this man and woman are referred to as donors. Then the embryo is implemented in the womb of another married woman who desires to give birth. This applies in cases of barren wives as a result of problems in the ovaries but a healthy uterus as well as in case of barren husbands.
Regulations of Artificial Insemination:
Jurists have set forth a number of regulations that protect the individuals, the family and society, such as:
- Taking extremely intense precautions in assuring that the ovum is not confused with other fertilized ova.
- The husband or someone he trusts shall attend the process of insemination from the point of taking the sperm and the egg until inserting them into the woman's uterus.
- Recording the data of the process in full in order to avoid any circumstances that may lead to intermixing of lineages.
- Affirmation of the professional and ethical integrity of the physicians and medical staff who perform the process of insemination.
The issue, from the very beginning, should be enveloped by faith in fate and divine decree as Allaah The Exalted Says )what means(:}He gives to whom He wills female ]children[, and He gives to whom He wills males. Or He makes them ]both[ males and females, and He renders whom He wills barren. Indeed, He is Knowing and Competent.{]Quran 42: 49-50[.

Some wives complain, in their messages, that their husbands do not bother to do any chores related to the family, whether inside or outside the house, even if it is a routine or simple matter, and this, of course, makes them feel sad, hurt and frustrated.
Dear Muslim husband and wife,
To help with the housework is one of the emotional requirements of the wife. It creates a feeling of peace and happiness within the house. This help includes, for instance, cooking meals, washing dishes, washing and ironing clothes, cleaning the house and taking care of the children.
In the beginning of the marriage, the husband automatically co-operates with his wife in the housework; a help which she welcomes.
But with the passage of time, and with the husband’s increasing engagement in his work outside the house, neither the husband nor the wife regard it as an important emotional requirement, and at that point, the countdown of the time bomb starts.
When the children come, the needs automatically increase: there is a need to increase the income and to bear more household responsibilities.
While the mother focuses on the needs of the infant, the father’s natural reaction to help takes the form of providing more money, which makes him mainly concerned with his work: he searches for overtime at work in the hope of increasing his salary.
Here, many disputes take place between the spouses, especially when the wife is a working woman, and is exposed to the same pressure that the husband is exposed to.
This can be avoided if both spouses tackle the issue with love and intelligence. Failing this, the reserves of the bank of love will suffer.
Most husbands do not help with the housework, whether or not their wives work. The working wives return home exhausted and unable to do the housework in the best manner, which means that a lot of work in the house remains undone.
Such women hardly rest, even on holidays: they spend all their time taking care of their children, cleaning the house and doing the laundry. They then need help with the housework, which forces them to resort to external help from maids, in order to be able to cover that emotional need. Running the household and fulfilling the husband’s demands contribute in increasing her share in his bank of love; and vice versa, i.e. helping the wife contribute in increasing his share in her bank of love.
Shared responsibilities
Both the man and woman have a role to play and responsibility to bear in the house. Good companionship between them requires that they should co-operate in these responsibilities. Among the most important responsibilities due upon the woman is to dispose of the household affairs, and nurture the children.
These responsibilities, though borne by the woman for the most part, should be shared between the spouses according to the principle of co-operation.
The emotional needs of both the woman and the man
Confidence and care are among the emotional needs of both the man and woman.
When the wife has confidence in her husband’s capability, he becomes more eager to care for and serve her. Similarly, when the husband cares for his wife, she becomes more confident of him and of his capabilities.
The joy of sharing
Successful spouses are those who share in doing many simple things, like planning for the future, arranging the library, cooking a quick meal, making arrangements for something related to the children, and other such simple tasks which contribute to the kind treatment and affection between them. Thus, each of the spouses feels happy and contented on seeing his/her partner beside him, sharing his/her joy and grief, and not leaving him/her. A successful life is based on the principle of give and take, love and reassurance that there is someone who supports the person and will always be by his side no matter what happens.
Emotional contentment
The family’s beauty is reflected in the co-operation between the spouses in carrying the burdens of life. At times, the husband sacrifices and serves his wife, and the wife does the same at other times and serves her husband.
Service is not the exclusive characteristic of one of the spouses without the other: both spouses are partners in it. The best way to treat a woman is if her husband sympathizes with her regarding the housework, and assists her in this regard. If a woman, who is a housewife devotes her effort and energy to the service of her husband and children, and, at the same time, receives neither encouragement nor appreciation, she will fall a victim to frustration and intense emotional deprivation. This is why the Messenger of Allah, sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, took this into consideration. He never obligated his wives with the burden of his service. He used to serve himself, and hasten to help his wives, to the extent that he would put his leg forward for one of them to mount a camel.
A man’s awareness of this fact, good treatment and service of their wives has an impressive effect on their spiritual tranquility and emotional stability. This causes the woman to receive her husband in a state of utmost happiness and contentment, no matter how destitute and poor they might be.

It is narrated on the authority of As-Siddeeqah )‘Aa’ishah(, daughter of As-Siddeeq )Abu Bakr(, may Allah be pleased with them, the wife of the best of creation, sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, that she said, describing his conduct in his house, “He used to keep himself busy serving his family.” ]Al-Bukhaari[ “He, sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, used to sew his garments, stitch his sandals, and do all things that men do in their homes.” ]Al-Albaani: Saheeh[
It is narrated on the authority of Al-Aswad, may Allah have mercy upon him, that he said: I asked ‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, about what the Messenger of Allah, sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, used to do at home, thereupon she said, “He used to keep himself busy serving his family, and once the prayer was due, he would come out for the prayer.” ]Al-Bukhaari[
It is narrated on the authority of ‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, that she was asked about what the Messenger of Allah, sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, used to do at home, thereupon she said, “He was a human being like other human beings. he used to take out lice from his garment, milk his sheep and serve himself.” ]Al-Albaani: Saheeh[
The Hadeeth )narration( indicates, if not exhorts men to serve their families. The noblest of creation used to sew his garment and stitch his sandals! So, why do you, my brother, not follow his example, sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, and join your wife in the service of the house, like washing the dishes and other chores, even if not on a regular basis? Whilst doing so, you should remember the statement of ‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, “The Prophet, sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, used to keep himself busy serving his family.” That, to be sure, has the most impressive effect in increasing the ties of affection and mercy between the spouses.
Although he was the Prophet of Allah, sallAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam, and the head of the Muslim state, he found the time to serve his household. What a great tutor he is!
If you are not doing so already, dear brother, I invite you to start sharing household duties with your wife, and please her, even with a little work in the house. Although she may not let you do so, she will surely appreciate your endeavor and this will increase her respect for you. Rather, she would hasten to do the work instead of you but with great happiness, and the feeling that all her tiredness is gone, after she learns that you appreciate her service in the house. With mere appreciation )of her service( and a little work, your happiness at home will become enduring and your leadership will be secure.
The husband’s role
The husband should co-operate with his wife at home through:
1- Personally helping his wife in the responsibilities of the house.
He should contribute towards the household chores with his wife as much as lies within his capacity. The Messenger of Allah, sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, used to keep himself busy serving his family, and so did the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them. Since the Messenger of Allah, sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, practiced this, then, it becomes incumbent upon any other husband to act in accordance with his Sunnah )tradition(, sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
2- Reducing his demands and not blaming the wife for deficiency.
It is not considered good treatment if the husband makes too many demands on his wife in serving him and his household, neither should he take her to task harshly in case she falls short.
3- Determining the household responsibilities:
Have you told your husband that his helping you with the housework makes you love him more? Help with the housework can become a means to fulfill other emotional needs which the other party needs to be reminded of.
Before housework turns into a cause of dispute between the spouses, we suggest imposing the policy of shared agreement, and sitting together to solve the basic problems. What is required now is:
1- A quiet night and psychological readiness
2- Paper and a pen
3- Smiles and patience
In this atmosphere, each of the spouses should determine the tasks to be done by him/her. The housework may be divided into:
1- Tasks you like to do and do not need any help to do them.
2- Tasks you are satisfied with but need the help of the other party
3- Tasks you regard as the responsibility of the other party alone
4- Tasks of the other party in which you are willing to help.
Then, each party is required to show his/her agreement or disagreement on those items. In this way, the responsibilities are determined, and each party is held responsible for the tasks he/she has agreed to do.
In this way, both spouses can care for the feelings of each other, and bring happiness to one another. When a married couple holds a discussion, they should observe the following tips:
1- To be nice and pleasant during the discussion
2- To be calm, first of all, and stay away from belligerent behavior
3- A dead end does not mean that the discussion is over, but that it should be postponed to avoid a clash
4- To make sure to put yourself in the place of the other party.
You may also make a special list for the children of the chores they can do, so that they would learn how to bear their share of the responsibility for doing the housework.
In conclusion
Try to help your wife in some of the housework in order to make her feel that you care about her, and that you appreciate her efforts. Ask her to rest and not do any housework if she is tired, and do that work yourself instead of her. Of a surety, this increases the affection and mercy between you, keeps the river of love flowing, and raises your share in her bank of love.
Your little bit of work at home is like salt in the food. So, share in the housework even if it is just a little, out of appreciation and acknowledgement of the great service your wife does for you, perchance you would spur her to work willingly and relentlessly, and her body and soul will be at your disposal without complaint.
