Question:
Some women are overcome by the urge tocommunicate what is said in the
house and their marital life to their relatives and friends. Some of
what is said is secret, and the husband does not want anyone else to
know it. What is the ruling on women who divulge these secrets and
communicate them to those outside the house, or to some members of the
household?
Answer:
The practice, as some women do, of communicating what is said in the
house, and communicating details about their marital life to relatives
and friends, is a forbidden thing. It is not permissible for a woman
to divulge the secrets of her house or her affairs with her husband to
any person. Allaah, The Most High says:
"Therefore the righteouswomen are devoutly obedient (to Allaah and to
their husbands), and guard in the husband's absence what Allaah orders
them to guard (e.g. their chastity and their husband's property)"
An-Nisa' 4:34
- and the prophet Sallalaahu alaihi wa sallam informed us that the
worst of people in rank before Allaah on the Day of Resurrection will
be a man who has sexual intercourse with his wife and she with him,
then he communicates her secrets.

Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

The healing of honey
More than 1,400 years ago, Allaah All-Mighty told us through His
Messenger that honey can heal a variety of medical problems.
Honey is a remarkable viscous liquid, prepared by bees from nectars of
various plants. It has occupied a prominent place in traditional
medicines throughout history. The ancient Egyptians, Assyrians,
Chinese, Greeks and Romans employed honey for different diseases.
The Noble Quran and many Prophetic narrations refer to honeyas a great
healer of disease.
Allaah, Almighty, Says (what means): "And your Lord inspired the bee,
saying: 'Take you habitations in the mountains and in the trees and in
what they erect. Then, eat of all fruits, and follow the ways of your
Lord made easy (for you).' There comes forth from their bellies, a
drink of varyingcolor wherein is healing for men. Verily, in this is
indeed a sign for people who think." [Quran; 16: 68-69]
Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri related that a man came to the Prophet and said:
"My brother has some abdominal trouble." The Prophet said to him "Let
him drinkhoney." The man returned to the Prophet and said: "O
Messengerof Allaah! I let him drink honey, but it caused him more
pain." The Prophet said to him: "Go and let him drink honey!" Theman
went and let his brother drink honey, then returned back and said: "O
Messenger of Allaah, it did not cause him except more pains." The
Prophet then said: "Allaah has said the truth, but your brother's
abdomen has told a lie. Let him drink honey." So he made him drink
honey and he was cured. [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]
The Prophet also said:"Make use of the two remedies: honey and the
Quran." [At-Tirmithi, Ibn Maajah and Al-Bayhaqi] Modern medicine is
only just learning of this fact.
Benefits of honey:
1. Alleviates inflammation of cornea ifused locally on the eye.
2. An antibiotic if used locally in situations of wounds and
burns, and itis used for healing of wounds:
· In case of wounds, honey absorbs moisture from the air, facilitates
healing process and prevents scarring. This is because honey
stimulatesthe growth of epithelial cells that form the new skin cover.
In this way, honey may eliminate the need for tissue transplantation.
· Honey stimulates the re-growth of tissue involved in the healing
process. It stimulates the formation of new blood capillaries and the
growth of fibroblasts that replace the connective tissue of the deeper
layer of the skin and produce the collagenfibers that give strength to
the repair.
· Honey has an anti-inflammatory action, which reduces the swelling
around a wound. This improves circulation and thus hastens the healing
process.
· Honey does not stick to the underlying wound tissues, so there is no
tearing away of newly formed tissue, and no pain, when dressings are
changed.
· Thanks to its antimicrobial property, honey provides a protective
barrier to prevent wounds becoming infected. It also rapidly clears
any existing infection from wounds. It is fully effective, even with
antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria.
· Some studies showed that honey is a good treatment against the
hospital infection bacteria "superbugs" (MRSA.)
3. As honey does not accommodate bacteria, this bactericide
(bacteria-killing) property of honey is named "the inhibition effect."
There are various reasons of this anti-microbial property of the
honey. Some examples are: the high sugar content that limits the
amount of water microorganisms need for growth, its high acidity (low
pH) and composition which deprive bacteria from nitrogen necessary for
reproduction. The existence of hydrogen peroxide as well as
antioxidants in the honeyprevent bacteria growth.
4. Antioxidant: Those are the components in cells that get rid of
harmful byproducts of normal metabolic functions. These
elementsinhibit destructive chemical reactions that cause spoilage of
food and many chronic illnesses. Researchers believe food products
rich in antioxidants may prevent heart problems and cancer. Strong
antioxidants are present in honey: Pinocembrin, pinobaxin, chrisin and
galagin. Pinocembrin is an antioxidant that merely exists in the
honey.
5. A treatment for gastric and duodenal ulcers, as honey
decreases the secretion of hydrochloric acid to a normal rate, thus
helpingto heal such ulcers and alleviate the related pains and reduce
resultant cases of vomiting and colic. For the treatment to be
effective, honey should be taken dissolved in warm water one or two
hours before meals.
6. A treatment for involuntary urination at beds. So, if the
child is given one small spoon of honey before sleeping, this will
have a positive effect, as honey is sedative for the nervous system,
thus helping the cyst to relax and expand during sleep.
7. It supports blood formation: Honey provides an important part
of the energy needed by the body for blood formation. It helps in
cleansing the blood. It has some positive effects in regulating and
facilitating blood circulation. It also functions as a protection
against capillary problems and arteriosclerosis.
8. A treatment for colds, flu and pharyngitis.
9. A treatment for cases of chronic hepatitis,as honey increases
the liver stock of the glycogen material through the increase of blood
glucose, thus helping the liver to function properly and relieve it
from more burdens.
10. A treatment for insomnia and a sedative for nerves, as it contains
some sedative and tonic substances as sodium andpotassium at a
reasonable rate such.
11. A treatment for alcoholic poisoning. Fructose and vitamin B group
in the honey help oxidize the alcohol remaining in the body.
12. A treatment for cough.
13. In cosmetics, a mixture of honey with lemon and glycerin is
considered of the best old medical prescription for the treatment of
skin cracking and roughness, the inflammation and wounds of lips, sun
stroke, and dermal pigments.
14. A treatment for muscular spasm of sportive exercises or facial
spasms and eyelids muscles, which disappearafter having one big spoon
of honey for three days after each meal.
15. Has a low calorie level. When it is compared with the same amount
of sugar, it gives 40% less calories to the body. Although it gives
great energy to the body,it does not add weight. Furthermore, the use
of honey is safe and has no allergic or side effects.
The Prophet was right in his prescription for theailing man. When the
fourth treatment of honey was given to the man, he got better. Such is
part of the knowledge that the Almighty has revealed to His Prophet .

How Do You Face Good and Bad Times?
The more one ponders over the apparent and hidden favours from Allaah
The Almighty uponhim, the more he will realise that his Lord has
granted him abundant blessings and protected him from a number of
evils; this will certainly remove grief and anxietyand bring happiness
and contentment. Thus, take heed of the advice of the Prophet when he
said: "Look to those who are lower than you (i.e., those who possess
less than you) and do not look to those higher thanyou; this will make
you appreciate the bounties of Allaah upon you." [Al-Bukhaari and
Muslim]
Such people get the support and assistance ofAllaah The Almighty which
makes fear vanish,as Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {"Be
patient. Surely, Allaah is with those who are the patient."} [Quran,
8: 46]
The virtuous and the sinful, and the believer and the disbeliever are
the same when it comes to conditioning oneself to becoming brave,
which is the natural ability to calm oneself during moments of terror.
Due to the believer's strong faith, perseverance and reliance on
Allaah The Almighty, he emerges stronger than others in difficult
situations and this reduces his fear and anxiety and ultimately makes
matters easy for him. As Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {"And
don't be weak in the pursuit of the enemy; if you are suffering
(hardships) then surely, they (too) are suffering (hardships) as you
are suffering, but you have a hope from Allaah (for the reward, i.e.
Paradise) that for which they hope not}." [Quran, 4: 104]
However, the one who is devoid of strong faith will be the opposite;
he becomes anxious, nervous, confused and full of fear; indeed his
anxiety and paranoia team up against him. If this type of person does
not possess the worldly means to tackle his fear and affliction, then
he will collapse because he does not possess the faithwhich would
enable him to persevere during tough times.
Another example of this is when certain frightening or
disturbingevents occur, such as emergencies or accidents. One finds
that a person with sound faith is calm, steadfast, and able to cope
with thesituation and handle the hardship he is going through; such a
person has conditioned himself to receiving such afflictions and this
makeshis heart stronger and more steadfast, which gives him
tranquillity.
These examples show thegreat difference betweena person who has strong
belief and acts accordingly, and another who is not at this level of
faith. Due to the strong belief of the true believerand his
contentment with whatever Allaah TheAlmighty has decreed, if he is
afflicted with sickness, poverty or any other affliction, he is
tranquil and content and has no desire for anything which has not been
decreed for him. Instead, he looks at thoseless fortunate than him
rather than those who are more fortunate and by doing so he becomes
happier, even more than one who is discontent despite possessing all
theriches of this world.
Many people receive affliction with fear, discontent, sorrow and
despair; their life becomes miserable, they panic and become short
tempered. Such a person fails to think about the reward that he should
behoping for, nor does he exercise patience that would bring about
contentment and thus make life easier for him.
There can be several reasons for this state of mind: the fear of
losing the things one desires and cherishes or the greed to acquire
more of the same, because man will never reach a point where he is
fully satisfiedin life.
Different people can have completely differentreactions when something
good or bad befalls them, and their reactions depend on the strength
of their belief and the extent of their righteous actions. One person
may receive goodness with gratitude and evil with perseverance, which
brings him peace of mindand happiness, causing his grief, anxiety and
misery to disappear. Thus, this becomes a cause of positivity in his
life. The second person receives goodness with arrogance and
transgression; his manners degenerate andbecome evil; he receives this
goodness and utilisesit in an unthinking manner; it does not give him
any peace of mind and his mind is always restless and agitated.
The Prophet said: "How wonderful is the affair of the believer! All of
his affairs are good and this is the case for nobody except a
believer. If he is blessed with prosperity he thanks (Allaah) and that
is good for him; and if heis afflicted with adversity he perseveres
and that is also good for him." [Muslim] - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

Parents: Precious Blessings in our Life
Allaah The Almighty has made our parents the means of giving us life
and made them the source of providing us with unparalleled love and a
sound upbringing. However, when we growup, we tend to forget theperiod
of our infancy andchildhood and disregard their efforts. What
ingratitude can be worsethan this?
The very least we can do for our parents is to show goodness and kind
treatment towards them while they are alive, and supplicate for them,
offercharity and other righteous deeds on their behalf after their
death.
Allaah The Almighty mentions the virtues of being good to one's
parents in conjunction with worshipping Him alone when He Says (what
means): {"And yourLord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And
that you are dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them
attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor
shout at them but address them in terms of honour. And lower unto them
the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: `My Lord!
Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young.'"}
[Quran, 17: 23-24].
The Prophet classified being undutiful to parents as one of the great
major sins and mentioned it along with associating partners withAllaah
The Almighty in Hisworship. He said: "Shall I not inform you about the
most grievous of the grave sins?" His Companions replied, "Indeed, O
Messenger of Allaah!" He said: "Associating anything with Allaah (in
worship), and being undutiful to parents, (he was reclining at that
time, then he sat up and said): (beware of) false testimony or false
utterance." He repeated itso many times that his Companions wished
that he would become silent. [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim].
A man came to the Prophet and asked, "Which of the people is most
deserving of my good companionship?" He replied: "It is your mother."
The man asked, "Who is next?" He replied: "It is your mother." The man
then asked, "Who is next?" He replied: "It is your mother." Then the
man asked, "Who is next?" TheProphet replied: "It is your father."
[Al-Bukhaari].
Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet said: "Let him be humiliated!
Let him behumiliated! Let him be humiliated!" It was asked, "Who, O
Messenger of Allaah?" He replied: "Hewhose parents reach old age,
either one or both of them, and who does not enter Paradise (due to
not being dutiful to them)." [Muslim]
Dutifulness to parents is one of the reasons behind the forgiveness
ofsins. Ibn 'Umar both, said that a man came to the Prophet and said,
"I have committed a great sin, can I repent from it?" The Prophet
asked: "Is your mother alive?" and in another narration he asked: "Are
you parents alive?" The man replied, "No" so the Prophet asked: "Do
you have a maternal aunt?" The man replied, "Yes" Thereupon, the
Prophet said: "Then bedutiful to her." [At-Tirmithi].
'Ali ibn Abi Taalib said, "If there was anything less than this
expression (i.e., saying 'Uff' to one's parents) as a form of being
undutiful, Allaah would have forbidden that expression." Allaah The
Almighty also mentions gratefulness to Him along with being grateful
to one's parents when He says (what means): "Give thanks to Me and to
your parents. Unto Me is the final destination." [Quran, 31: 14]
These narrations inspire you to be dutiful to your parents and respect
and glorify them. Do not be negligent of the saying of the Prophet :
"The pleasure of the Lord is in pleasing your parents, and the wrath
of the Lord (upon the child) is if he makes them angry."
[At-Tabaraani].
