Kindness surely pays back

One day, a poor boy whowas selling goods from door to door to pay his
way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was
hungry.
He decided he would askfor a meal at the next house. However, he lost
his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal
he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought
him alarge glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and thenasked, "How much
do I owe you?"
"You don't owe me anything," she replied."Mother has taught us never
to accept pay for akindness." He said....."Then I thank you from my
heart."
Year's later that young woman became criticallyill. The local doctors
were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called
in a specialist to study her rare disease. After a long struggle,
thebattle was won. Finally business office pass the final bill to
specialist for approval. He looked at it,then wrote something on the
edge and the bill was sent back.
When she got the bill, she feared to open it, forshe was sure it would
take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and
something caught her attention on the side of the bill.
She read these words....."Paid in full with one glass of milk"

51 hadith found in ' Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat): Detailed Rules of Law about the Prayer during Journey ' of Sunan Abu-Dawud.

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: The prayer was prescribed as
consisting of two rak'ahs both when one was resident and when
travelling. The prayer while travelling was left according to the
original prescription and the prayer of one who was resident was
enhanced.
1199
Narrated Uqbah ibn Amir:I heard the Apostle of Allah
(peace_be_upon_him) say: Allah is pleased with a shepherd of goats who
calls to prayer at the peak of a mountain, and offers prayer, Allah,
the Exalted, says: Look at this servant of Mine; he calls to prayer
and offers it and he fears Me. So I forgive him and admit him to
paradise.

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: When the Apostle of Allah(peace_be_upon_him)
halted at a certain place (while on a journey), he would not leave
that place till he offered the noon prayer. A man said to him: Even if
in the middle of the day? He replied: Even if in the middle of the
day.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: Ibn Umar was informed about the death of
Safiyyah (the wife of the Prophet) when he was at Mecca. He proceeded
till the sun set and the stars shined. He said: When the Prophet
(peace_be_upon_him) was in a hurry about something while on a journey,
he would combine both these prayers. He proceed till twilight had
disappeared. He then combined both of them (the prayers).

Narrated Mu'adh ibn Jabal: On the expedition to Tabuk if the sun had
passed the meridian before the apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him)
moved off, he combined the noon and the afternoon prayers; but if he
moved off before the sun had passed the meridian, he delayed the noon
prayer till he haltedfor the afternoon prayer.He acted similarly for
the sunset prayer; if the sun set before he moved off, he combined the
sunset and the night prayers, but if he moved off before sunset, he
delayed the sunset prayer till he halted for the night prayer and then
combined them.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: Abdullah ibn Waqid said: The mu'adhdhin of
Ibn Umar said: prayer (i.e. the time of prayer has come). He said: Go
ahead. He then alighted before the disappearance. He then offered the
night prayer. He then said: When the Apostle of Allah
(peace_be_upon_him) was in a hurry about something, he would do as I
did. Then he travelledand covered a distance of three days' journey
onthe day.

Not staying overnight inMina during the days of Tashreeq

I hope that you can explain the ruling on notstaying overnight in Mina
during the Days of Tashreeq. If the answer is that (the one who does
not stay in Mina) is obliged to offer a sacrifice, then should he
offer a sheep for each night or is one sufficient?
Praise be to Allaah.
Staying overnight in Mina during the Days of Tashreeq is obligatory
according to the majority of fuqahaa'; theone who fails to do that
with no excuse is obliged to offer a sacrifice. According to the
majority of scholars one should stay there formost of the night.
(al-Mawsoo'ah al-Fiqhiyyah, part 17, p. 58).
Not staying overnight in Mina during the Days of Tashreeq may be one
of the following cases:
The first case: when a person does not stay overnight in Mina because
he has an excuse.
Shaykh Ibn Baaz was asked about the ruling on a person who does not
stay overnight in Mina during the Days of Tashreeq. He said: "He is
not obliged to offer any sacrifice because Allaah says (interpretation
of the meaning): 'So keep your duty to Allaah and fear Him as much as
you can' [al-Taghaabun 64:16] – whether he did not stay overnight at
Mina because of sicknessor because there was no room, of for some
similar legitimate excusesuch as those who bring water to the pilgrims
and those who tend sheep, and whatever else comes under the same
rulings.
The second case: when aperson does not stay overnight (in Mina) during
the days of Tahsreeq with no excuse.
The Shaykh (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
Whoever does not stay overnight in Mina during the Days of Tashreeq
with no excusehas failed to do something which was prescribed by the
Messenger of Allaah SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
in both word and deed, and by the fact that he made a concession for
some of those who have excuses such as shepherds and those who bring
water to the pilgrims. Concessions can only be made when there is
something which has to be done. Hence staying overnight in Mina during
the Days of Tashreeq is considered to be one of the obligatory duties
of Hajj,according to the more correct of the two scholarly views, and
whoever does not do that and has no legitimate excuse has to offer a
sacrifice, becauseit was reported that Ibn 'Abbaas (may Allaah be
pleased with them both)said: "Whoever fails to do one of the rituals
[of Hajj] or forgets it, let himoffer a sacrifice." It is sufficient
to offer one sacrifice for not staying overnight in Mina during the
days of Tashreeq."
(Majmoo' Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn Baaz – may Allaah have mercy on him –
vol. 5, p. 182)
He should offer the sacrifice and share out its meat among the poorin
the Haram, and he should not eat any of it. And Allaah knows best.

Udhiyah for the deceased

Is it permissible to offer a sacrifice for the dead?.
Praise be to Allaah.
The Muslims are agreed that it is prescribed to offer a sacrifice
(udhiyah), and it is permissible to offer a sacrifice on behalf of one
who has died, because of the general meaning of the hadeeth of the
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), "When the son of
Adam dies, all his good deeds come to an end except three: ongoing
charity, beneficial knowledge, ora righteous son who willpray for
him." Narrated by Muslim. Abu Dawood, al-Tirmidhi and al-Nasaa'i, and
by al-Bukhaari in al-Adab al-Mufrad from Abu Hurayrah. Slaughtering
asacrifice on his behalf is a kind of ongoing charity, because it
benefits the person offering the sacrifice, the deceased person, and
others.
And Allaah is the Source of strength.
