*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

2] Why do defenders of creation who say the earth is 4.5 billion years old disturb Darwinists so much?

2]
Christian defenders of Creation have for years been claiming that the
Earth is 6000 years old. Darwinists, who imaginedthat this played
right into their hands, have recently been dealt a new body blow.
Adnan Oktar's (Harun Yahya) stating in his works that the data show
that the Earth is 4.5 billion years old and his showing, with
supporting evidence, that the life on it is the work of Almighty
Allah, was one of the heaviest blows dealt to Darwinism.
Conferences on evolution held recently by world famous Darwinist
professors have all been built on this huge defeat. For years,
Darwinists regarded the "6000-year-old Earth" claim as one they could
easily digest with the fossils dating back millions of years in their
possession. They claimed that the defendants of Creation were defeated
right from that point. This claim was heralded as one of the greatest
proofs confirming the truth of Darwinist fraud. Christian Creationists
who maintainthat the Earth is 6000 years old are defeated themoment
they make such a statement, no matter how powerful the evidence they
possess against Darwinism. Indeed, these claims have led to the
scientific facts they brought up against evolution not being evaluated
properly. Because the idea of "6000years" conflicts with the
scientific facts. It is because of this huge inconsistency that
certain Christian Creationists in Europe and America have always been
unsuccessful and passive.
Christian Creationists accept this statement as itis in the Gospel
while making no interpretation of it. But the fact is that, analyzed
on the basis of the proofs of Creation on Earth, the reference to an
Earth of 6000 years is used in a very different sense. Creation in six
days also appears in the Qur'an:
Your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens andthe earth in six days
andthen settled Himself firmly on the Throne... (Surat Al-A'raf, 54)
He directs the whole affair from heaven to earth. Then it will again
ascend to Him on a Day whose length is a thousand years by the way you
measure. (Surat as-Sajda, 5)
Taking the reference to six days in the one verse together with the
idea that one day is a thousand year from the other verse, the result
is a reference to the Earth having a life of 6000 years. But what
needs to be considered here is not the literal meanings of these
expressions, but their deeper and figurative ones. Because the
reference that our Lord makes to Creation in six days actually stands
for "periods." Bearing in mind the relativity of timeand the speed at
which time has passed since the Big Bang to make a calculation, the
reference to 6 days in the verse in fact points to a period of
billions of years. Calculating every day of Creation in terms of Earth
time, the following picture emerges:
Looked at in terms of since time began, the 1st day (1st age) of
Creation lasted 24 hours. But this equals 8 billion years in terms of
how we perceivetime on Earth.
• The 2nd day of Creation(2nd age) lasted 24 hours.But this lasted
half as longas the previous day, according to our perception of time.
In other words, 4 billion years.
• The 3rd day (3 rd age) lasted half as long as the second. In other
words, 2 billion years.
• The 4th day (4 th age) lasted 1 billion years.
• The 5th day (5 th age) lasted 500 million years.
• And the 6th day (6th age) lasted 250 million years.
• Conclusion: The six days,or six ages, of Creation, added up together
in terms of Earth time, produce a total of 15.75 billion years. This
figure is in agreement with modern estimations which show that the age
of the universe is approximately 15 billion years .
(You can find a more detailed statement on thesubject here .)
Darwinists Are Unable toOppose Adnan Oktar
As we summarize here in brief, the Creation in six days that Allah
reveals in the Holy Books gives the age of the universe that we
already know scientifically. In the light of this, the intellectual
struggle against Darwinism waged with fossils dating back millions of
years has stunned Darwinists. Not a single Darwinist is at present
able to stand up and oppose Adnan Oktar, who has shown the whole world
scientific proof that Creation is an absolute reality. They are unable
to issue any statements against it, andare quite unable to defend the
illogical accounts they used to supply.
Adnan Oktar's invitations to face-to-face debates with world renowned
Darwinists have so far gone unanswered. Because all Darwinists are
very well aware that Adnan Oktar will beat them. Adnan Oktar has also
frequently reiterated his offer of giving a large reward to anyone
producing a single transitional fossil,

Mullah Nasruddin

One day Nasruddin went to a banquet. As he was dressed rather
shabbily, no one let him in. So he ran home, put on his best robe and
fur coat and returned. Immediately, the host came over, greeted him
and ushered him to the head of an elaborate banquet table. When the
food was served, Nasruddin took some soup with spoon and pushed it to
the his fur coat and said, - Eat my fur coat, eat! It's obvious that
you're the real guest of honor today, not me!
One hot day, Nasruddin was taking it easy in the shade of a walnut
tree. After a time, he started eying speculatively, the huge pumpkins
growingon vines and the small walnuts growing on a majestic tree.
- Sometimes I just can't understand the ways of God! he mused. Just
fancy letting tinny walnuts grow on so majestic a tree and
hugepumpkins on the delicate vines!
Just then a walnut snapped off and fell smack on Mullah Nasruddin's
bald head. He got up at once and lifting up his hands and face to
heavens in supplication, said:
- Oh, my God! Forgive myquestioning your ways! You are all-wise. Where
would I have been now, if pumpkins grew on trees!
At a gathering where Mullah Nasruddin was present, people were
discussing the merits of youth and old age. They had all agreed that,
a man's strength decreases as years go by.Mullah Nasruddin dissented.
- I don't agree with you gentlemen, he said. In my old age I have the
same strength as I had inthe prime of my youth.
- How do you mean, Mullah Nasruddin? askedsomebody. Explain yourself.
- In my courtyard, explained Mullah Nasruddin, there is a massive
stone. In my youth I used to try and lift it. I never succeeded.
Neither can I lift it now.

1a] Are We Truly Believers?

1a]
Every sin we commit delays the arrival of Allah'sVictory . Every Salah
we delay extends the incarceration of a captive at Guantanamo Bay .
Everydrug we take allows another Quran to be flushed down the toilet.
Every hour we waste watching TV allows another Muslim to be kidnapped
and extradited into the hands of savage beasts. Every time we gazeat
something forbidden, we place an obstacle in the path of Allah's
Victory. A sin is not a 'private matter between me and Allah' but one
sin can make the difference between victory and defeat. Every sin we
commit is one more reason why Allah should not grant us relief,
safetyand victory.
Allah has made us a Promise in the aforementioned verse: "So do not
weaken and do notgrieve, for you will indeed be superior if you are
trulybelievers." He promises us relief, assistance, superiority and
victory on the condition that we are true believers. If we suffer
defeats today then it does not mean that Allah's Promise is false.
Instead, the question we must ask ourselves is: are we truly
believers?

1] Are We Truly Believers?

1]
"So do not weaken and do not grieve, for you will indeed be superior
if you are truly believers." [Al-Quran 3:139]
This verse was revealed to the Messenger (salallahu'alayhe was salam)
by Allah The Almighty from above the Seven Heavens, soon after the
Muslims suffered a defeat in the Battle of Uhud and returned to
Al-Madinah dejected and downtrodden. It was revealed as an
encouragement to the believers after a victory that was in their
grasp, was snatched away from them and turned into a defeat. And why
should the Companions not have felt devastated at this defeat?
Seventy of the best human beings on Earth at the time were killed and
countless otherswere injured. Even the Messenger himself was
seriously wounded until blood flowed from his faceand he said in great
anguish whilst wiping the blood from his noble cheeks: "Allah's Wrath
is Great upon the people who besmeared His Messenger's face with
blood."
However, this defeat was only a temporary setback so that the
believers could reflect upon the reasons for the defeat, described
insuccessive verses of Surah Ali-Imran. The mistakes and sins of a few
believers had deprived the whole army of victory.
When Umar bin Al-Khattab (radiallahu 'anh) despatched the army of Saad
bin Abi Waqqas (radiallahu 'anh) to the Battle of Al-Qadisiyyah, he
advised him:
"Fear your sins more than you fear the enemy as your sins are more
dangerous to you than your enemy. We Muslims are only victorious over
our enemy because their sins outnumber ours, not for any other reason.
If oursins were equal to those ofour enemy, then they would defeat us
due to their superior numbers and resources."
And so Saad proceeded to fight the Persians and, sticking to the
advice of his leader, he imprisoned the alcoholic Abu Mahjan
Ath-Thaqafi lest his presence in the army delays the victory. Until,
Abu Mahjan lamented in his shackles and composedverses of poetry that
touched the wife of Saad to temporarily release himso that he could
participate in the battle with his brothers. Abu Mahjan thus went out
riding the horse of Saad (as Saad was bedridden with fever) and
performedunmatched feats of valour before returning to his cellin the
evening and wearing his shackles back by himself. This continued for
three days until, when Saad found out about the heroics of Abu
Mahjan, he untied his shackles with the words: "By Allah! I will never
imprison you again for drinking alcohol!" Uponthis, Abu Mahjan
replied, "By Allah! I will never again touch alcohol after this day!"
The army was victorious and Saad appointed the ascetic Companion
Salman Al-Farsi (radiallahu 'anh) asthe new ruler of Persia , who
lived on a meagre salary of one dirham per day.
Victory and defeat, gains and losses, and successes and setbacks are
not decided by money, resources, numbers or skills. Rather, they are
decided by the balance of obedience and disobedience of Allah The
Exalted. The more we obey Allah, both individually and collectively,
the more wehasten His Victory. The more we disobey Allah, the more we
delay the arrival of His Victory. One Muslim's sins can delay the
victory for everyone.
It is very easy to blame Bush and Blair, the 'West', the 'kuffar' or
simply 'them' for all our woes andworries. But it is not so easy to
look in the mirror and point the finger at ourselves.
Look at us and our pathetic state. We have abandoned Salah or we delay
it or rush through it. We are too stingy to give Zakah, let alone
optional charity. We prefer to go onholiday than to go for the
obligatory Hajj. We drink alcohol, we use and supplydrugs (Muslims are
amongst the biggest suppliers of drugs in the world today), we cohabit
outside wedlock, we steal, we cheat. We eat haram, earn haram and sell
haram. We beat our wives and force our daughters into marriages then
use Islam to justify it. We are quick to spend on fashion and luxuries
but slow to spend on orphans and the needy. We fail to utter a single
word, let alone raisea finger, when we see our fellow Muslims
imprisoned, tortured, house-arrested, extradited or slain for fear of
being 'linked' to them. We waste our lives watching television and
playing computer games then complain that we don't have enough time
tobecome better Muslims. We are too addicted to music to find time to
listento or memorise the Quran. We are too busy in fun and games to
fulfil our responsibilities as vicegerents on Allah's Earth. And after
all this (and more), we have the audacity to wonder why Allah's
Victory has not yet arrived. With our paltry state, we should more
likely expect Allah's Wrath and Punishment rather than His Victory.
