The Prophet Muhammad (salallahu alaihi wa sallam) said,
"Whoever relieves a believer of a hardship from the hardships of this
world, then Allah willrelieve him of a hardship from the hardships of
theDay of Resurrection… Allah is helping the servant as long as the
servant is helping his brother, " [Hadith Tirmidhi /Muslim].
Do you need help? Help others, and Allah will help you.
Helping others doesn't have to consist of anythinggrand. Even a smile
is sadaqah. Removing a harmful thing from the road is sadaqah.
Speaking gentle words to someone in distress, or feeding a meal to
someone who is hungry, or making a donation to help an orphan… or
donating blood, or working a few hours a month for a charity, or
visiting someone who is sick… all those things are valuable. They are
not nothing. They are important and worthwhile acts.
Changing the world starts with every person doing one small thing. And
in the process, you help your ownsoul, and you bring happiness to your
own heart, and you get the blessings and barakah of Allah. What a
deal!

*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -*
-
Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Help Others and Help Yourself
When times are hard, and you’ve fallen down…
When times are hard, when your spirit is low, when you've been
knockedto your knees, or maybe just one knee… use that moment of
humility to praise Allah, the Most Glorious. Then find something in
your life to be grateful for.
Maybe you are grateful for your children, or your goodhealth, or the
plentiful foodon your table, or having good clean drinking water that
doesn't give you diseases, or a friend who makes you laugh, or the
fact that Allah has blessed you with Islam when so many are wandering
in darkness and despair. Or even just sitting on the grass feeling the
breeze, or a cat that sits in your lap and purrs… Find the many
blessings in your life, the hidden sources of happiness, and stand up,
and thank Allah.
Move forward with your head up, keeping your focus on Allah's gifts to
you, and your gratitude. Step, step, step with a grateful heart, and
that's how it's done.

Speak of Allah’s Kindness
"Do not become proudof your position. Do not become harsh toward those
weaker than yourself. And always speak of Allah'skindness to you."

Springtime: a poem
Springtime…
ocean air blows in fresh.
So much ahead:
green fields and blue skies…
Allah is kind
and He is still guiding you.
So be at peace, sister,
don't you cry.
Innocent eyes watch you
and small hands seek yours;
they love you so much,
not knowing how you try;
but Allah knows all.
He sees your struggle,
and your sapphire soul
shines in His eyes.
One bright spring morning
you're going to wake up singing
your heart so light
you could take off and fly.
You'll walk up the hill
and come home to your true love;
you'll dance and pray
and on life you'll be high.
Until that morning
Know that you are precious:
a strong Muslim queen
with dignity and pride.
So hold up your head
and don't fear tomorrow.
Be at peace, sister,
don't you cry.
