ABU DHABI - This is no calligraphy - or any other type of man-made
artwork. It is a nature-made artefact that manifests the magnificence
of Allah in a finely-finished Arabic calligraphy style.
This naturally formed rock, which bears the name of Allah, The Almighty
and Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him), was discovered by a Sri
Lankanbusinessman who broughtthe stone to the region so that it can be
kept in a museum or any other safe place.
M. S. Hameed, who is in Abu Dhabi visiting relatives, contacted
Khaleej Times to share, what he describes, as blessed signs of Allah,
withthe largest possible number of people.
"This a miracle of Allah. It is a magnificent artefact. It's beautiful
formation which is nature-made excels the finest decorative arts of
calligraphy," said Mr Hameed, who himself is anartefacts collector.
He claimed that the lettersappearing on the rock are formed in the
same order as in the seal of the Prophet.
"The most significant is the way the letters are written in the same
order as in the seal of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) which is illustrated
in the encyclopedia of Islam, Letters of the Prophet.
According to a calligraphy expert who studied the piece of rock, the
inscription of the words (Allah), (Mohammed) and (Rasool or Prophet)
were found to be naturally created.
"This is no artificial work of art as no man could make such a genuine
and marvellous work of art," said Masliya Farook, a specialised expert
in art and calligraphy.
"I think this piece of semi-precious stone is of immense historical
and cultural value to the Muslim community throughout the world,"
added Mrs Farook.
The precious stone has also been certified by the Sri Lankan Gem
Testing Laboratory as a natural genuine quartz rough specimen that has
not been tampered in anyway.

*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -*
-
Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

How to Pray 10 Jumah on one Friday
How many Jumah salat can we pray on a single Friday? Answer, no more
than one. However, here isa way that will get you reward of praying
more than one Jumah on any given Friday.
Prophet Muhammed (s.a.w) said:
Whoever invites towards (the path of) guidance shall receive a reward
equal to the rewards of those who follow him without this decreasing
anything from their rewards. (Sahih Muslim)
Using this formula, if you invite 9 of your friends to offer Jumah
with you and they respond to your call then you will get the reward
for your own Jumah plus nine additionalJumah prayers. You can increase
the number by as many as you want!
How great is Almighty Allah who has made earning for the hereafter very easy.
"And whoever guides others towards good is equal to the doer of good."
(Tirmidhi)

Darkness vs. Light
Once I had to go to a city for a few days. My plane landed there
during the late night hours. A brothergave me a ride to the place
where I was going to stay. This was the first time I visited this town
and was curious to see what it looked like. However, it was dark at
night and I wasn't able to see many things.
The next day, I went out with the brother and he happened to take the
same road as the previous night. But since it was day time, I was able
to see the river, hills, and many otherlandscapes that was not
properly visible the previous night.
It came to my mind that this is similar to what we go through in our
lives. Allah Ta'ala as told us through the Quran and Prophet Muhammad
(saw)about the many unseen things that are awaiting us in the
hereafter. While we are in this world, it's just like we are in
darkness. We are not able to see all these things. But as soon as we
die and close our eyes, everything will open up to us like the day
time and we will see whatever was hidden.
