*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Power of Prayer

Prayer, which is an important connection withAlmighty Allah, is
demanding in the sense that we demonstrate our weakness in front of
Almighty Allah. Our Lord reveals that prayer is an important act of
worship with the verse, " Say: 'What has My Lord to do with you if you
do not call on Him? ..." (Surat al-Furqan, 77)
Actually the need to form a connection with Allah exists in every
man's character, entailed in creation. However, while praying is an
inseparable part of their lives for believers, for some people it is
an act of worship to be remembered only when they face with
difficulties or life-threatening situations. However, this is a big
mistake because what is truly good is to ask for Almighty Allah's help
both in difficulty and ease and to take refuge in His mercy.
Being Determined in Prayer
Allah has made it possible for His servants to reach anything that He
sees as good and beautiful. However, being determined in the prayer
being made is just as important as the prayer itself. Praying with
patience is an indication ofthe need for the desires prayed for, of
the inconvenience about this matter and most importantly an indication
that one's closeness to Allah has increased. Being determined in
prayer makes the believer more mature and bestows on him a strong
will and character. A believer who shows determination in prayer gets
much in returnby earning a deep faith, which is more valuable than
most of the things heasked for. It is revealed in the Qur'an that one
needs to be determined in prayer as such:
" Seek help in steadfastness and prayer. But that is a very hard
thing, except for the humble:" (Surat al-Baqara, 45)
Our valuable Prophet (saas) has stated how much he needs Allah
sometimes by praying for years on and our Lord, theAll-Merciful, has
given what he asked for at the best time. The fact that Allah accepts
every prayer, both open and hidden, is due to His Mightiness and Grace.
Allah never leaves any thought which crossesone's mind without a
return. However, "accepting a prayer" does not mean something
happening as it was askedfor because sometimes a person may be
demandingsomething harmful to himself. Almighty Allah reveals as such
about this matter:
" Man prays for evil just as he prays for good. Man is prone to be
impetuous." (Surat al-Isra', 11)
Allah knows best what is good and what is bad for a person because He
is theOne Who appreciates everything. As with His every work, there
are many wonders hidden in the way He accepts prayers. For example,
the Prophet Jacob (pbuh) rejoining his son the Prophet Joseph (pbuh)
after many long years, the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) gaining power and
rulership after staying in prison for a long time, the Prophet Ayoob
(pbuh) being saved from the pain caused by satan; all of these
occurred after showing great patience and continuous prayers. Almighty
Allah has accepted the prayers of these sincere servants of His at the
best time for them and has made them mature, educated them, increased
their loyalty andsincerity and turned them into servants worthy of
high degrees in Paradise.
How Does Allah Accept Prayer?
· When a believer prays, he knows that Allahhears him and will
always accept his prayer in any way. This is because he realizes that
events do nottake place in a coincidental way, but according to the
destiny determined by Allah and in the way He wills. Therefore, he has
no doubt that he will not have any return for his prayer. Praying with
this sincere spirit causes great goodness by Allah's leave. In one
verse, it is revealed that our Lord will always accept a prayer as a
manifestation of His name "Al-Mujib" (One Who accepts the demands of
those who beg to Him).
" If My slaves ask you about Me, I am near. I answer the call of the
caller when he calls on Me. They should therefore respond to Me and
believe in Me so thathopefully they will be rightly guided. " (Surat
al-Baqara, 186)
· The reason that something asked for in a prayer is given
with delay,or accepted in a completely different way, could also be
that our Lordtests His servants. Allah may grant His blessings after
certain periods of time in order to test the patience of His servants
and to make them matureaccording to a certain reason.
Due to this and similar reasons, it cannot be expected that every
prayer is realized as it is asked for and as soon as possible. As it
is stated by the great Islamic scholar Bediuzzaman, Allah may give
less of something asked for in prayer or sometimes more of it as a
reward or because of the reasons we mentioned above He may not grant
them at all. However, in every condition, Allah accepts the prayer of
the one who prays to Him.

The First Female Convert to Islam: Ourmother Hazrat Khadija

Our mother Hazrat Khadija(ra), the first wife of our beloved Prophet
(saas), was at the same time the first female Muslim.
Our worthy mother made great efforts to assist the spread of Islam
through her intellect, foresight and wisdom.
With her submission, courage and devotion, ourmother Hazrat Khadija
(ra),one of our Prophet's (saas)greatest supporters, was arole model
for all Muslims.
Our Prophet (saas) first told Hazrat Khadija (ra) of the revelation
that came to him; and she, with her intelligence and foresight, her
unquestioning obedience to and trust in our Prophet (saas), realized
that he had been especially chosen by Allah and believed him straight
away . When the prophethood was bestowed upon him, Hazrat Khadija (ra)
said "I bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah" and
converted to Islam.
Hazrat Khadija (ra) was from the Quraysh, one of the leading Arab
tribes, and her family shared the same line of descent as our Prophet
(saas). And although she was subjected to many tests reflecting the
moral valuesof the ignorant Arab society in which she lived, she
always exhibited a most powerful and determined character in the face
of all adversities.
· According to accounts, Hazrat Khadija (ra) died three years
before the hegira (19 April, 620 A.D.) and lived at a time when Islam
had not yet become strong and achieved dominion. Despite the difficult
conditions of the time, and all the persecution by the pagansof Mecca,
she maintained her unquestioning submission to Allah and our Prophet
(saas).
· At a time when there were quite literally only three Muslims
in the world, Hazrat Khadija (ra) would sometimes worshiparound the
Kaaba with theMessenger of Allah (saas) and Hazrat Ali (ra), and
sometimes at home.
· When the pagans of Mecca besieged the Muslims at Shi'bu Abi
Talib,Hazrat Khadija (ra) withstood the siege alongside our Prophet
(saas) with tremendous courage, fortitude and heroism.
· The immaculate line of our Prophet (saas), that will continue
until the Dayof Reckoning, is descendedfrom our mother Hazrat Khadija
(ra). With the exception of Hazrat Maria (ra), whose son Abraham died
subsequently, our Prophet (saas) had no children with any of his other
precious wives.
· Our Prophet (saas) had six children with our mother Hazrat
Khadija (ra). The first of these was Hazrat Fatima, who wouldcontinue
the line, from whom Hazrat Hassan and Hazrat Husseinm whose lines will
also continue until the Day of Reckoning, were born.
· Our mother Hazrat Khadija (ra) was a wealthyperson engaged in
business; but after becoming a Muslim, instead of seeking
worldlyadvantages, she happily used everything she had acquired in
order to earn the approval of Allah and was a role model in terms of
spending her fortune for the sake of Islam.
· Hazrat Khadija's (ra) purity and chastity were renowned even
before herconversion to Islam, for which reason she was known as
"Tâhire" (the spotless and immaculate woman).

The shortening of time is a portent of Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) appearance

The Day of Judgment will not come unless the following incidents come
true…Time will shorten while distances will get shorter by means of
vehicles. (Buhari, Fitan.25; Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Musnad, 2/313)
In our century, voyages which lasted for months in previous ages can
be made in only a few hours in incomparably safer, easier and more
comfortable forms.
This is how the sign of the hadith becomes manifest.
In another hadith of our Prophet (saas) we find the following
information regarding the shortening of time:
Hazrat Anas (ra) relates:"Resûlullah aleyhissalâtu wesselâm told:
The Day of Judgment doesnot come unless times shortens. This
shortening occurs in such a way that ayear lasts as shortly as a
month, a month runs as shortly as a week, a week as a single day, a
day as anhour and an hour as lighting a kindle. (Tirmidhi,Zuhd: 24,
2333)
Time shortens and night and day come close together… (Death, the Day
of Judgment-the Portents of the End Times, p. 374, no. 681)
The hadith also reveals that time-saving will be peculiar to the End Times:
Indeed, communication that took weeks among continents in previous
ages can be accomplished in only a matter of seconds by means of the
Internet and other communication technologies.
In our time, it is quite possible to purchase the goods that used to
arrive at the end of months-longcaravan voyages in a matter of a
couple of weeks, or a month at most.
Today millions of books can be published during the space of time that
wasrequired to publish a single book a few centuries ago.
All these aside, mundane daily tasks such as cleaning, cooking, child
care, maintenance, and shopping no longer take too much time by means
of the state of the art electronic devices.
Thus has this portent of the End Times is also taking place just as
how it was heralded by our Prophet (saas).
It is scientifically proven that time shortens
In the space existing between the surface of theEarth and the
conductive ionosphere, there exists a natural vibration. This
fundamental frequency, which is also known as the"heartbeat of the
world", is called the Schumann Resonance. It was predicted
mathematically by the German physicist Winfried R. Schuman in 1952.
The Schumann Resonance is very important because it encloses the Earth
and thus keeps nature and all living forms under its effect. It is
constantly measured by the world's prominent physics research centers.
During measurements made in the 1950s, the Schumann Resonance was
measured at 7.8 Hertz. This value was thought to remain constant.
Indeed the global military communication system was established over
this frequency. However, in the1980s, a sudden change inthis state
caused great shock for the scientific community, because in 1980, it
was seen that the Schumann Resonance was measuring above 11 Hertz.
Recent reports have revealed that this rate increases even further.
Thechange in the Schumann Resonance frequency indicates the speeding
up of time. Accordingly, 24-hours of time is experienced in 16 hours
orless. That is, the time perceived is shortened. Science is unable to
tell why this rate has increased, or the factor that caused this
increase. With the shortening of time, a portent of the End Times that
our Prophet (saas) foretold 1,400 yearsago, is thus scientifically
proven in our day.
The Earth is getting prepared for the Day of Judgment and by Allah's
leave, its portents are taking place one after another.
SUBTITLES:
ADNAN OKTAR: "In the EndTimes, at the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as), days,
weeks will shorten" says our Prophet (saas). Let everyone ask one
another.Compared to the past, have days, weeks, months shortened or
not? Anyone,if any, who says 'No' can write to me. Everyone
unanimously says, "In the past, days were longer; weused to do many
works during the day. Time has shortened." This is clear. This is a
portent of the EndTimes. This is a portent of Hazrat Mahdi (as). It is
a miracle our Prophet (saas) told. (Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's
Live Interview dated August 18, 2010 Samsun AKS TV and Kayseri TV)
ADNAN OKTAR: Everyone says this. The weekend comes in no time. Did the
weekend come so quickly in the past? The days werenot passing. [Now]
the dayends in a moment. One sleeps for a while, for some seven or
eight hours, then he wakes up, has his breakfast and the evening comes
and the day ends. One goes to work and in no time comes back home and
goes to sleep. He has no time to breathe. One is amazed at [how the
time passes so quickly]. That the Day of Judgment is close strengthens
our bonds of brotherhood even more. The closeness of the Day of
Judgment is a factor that encourages love.
