*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Mayan people believe that the year 2012 is the beginning of a new age when some blessed people will appear:

Mayan people belive that thedate December 21st, 2012, which is the end
of the Mayan calendar system madeup of periods of thousands ofyears,
refers to the end of a long age.
According to the Mayan calendar the world enters a new age every 1
million 872 thousand days. The history ofthe world consists of periods
of nearly 5125 years and the end of each one of these periods mark
radical changesand great renovations.
According to the Mayan people, the period in which we live is the
fifth and the last period and it will come to an end on the date
13.0.0.0.0. According to the Gregorian calendar, this date is 21
December 2012.
According to the Calendar of the Maya, the date of December 22nd 2012
would be represented by what are named: 13 Baktun, 0 Katun, 0Tun, 0
Uinal, and 0 Kin. On their calendar a total of 1,872,000 days will
have elapsed since the beginning of the Maya Era, and this date will
mark the new beginningof the New Era.
For this reason, Mayan peoplethink that December 21st, 2012 is not
only the end of a particular period. They believe that this date is
the beginning of a new period during which some wise, blessed people
will appear and bring a Golden Age to the world.
The Stella (stone structure) depicting that the date December 21st,
2012 is the time when an age will end and a new one will begin.
A stella was found nearby Nohoch Mul, the second highest pyramid among
the Coba Pyramids of the AncientMayan civilization. This stella
depicts the age that starts on August 11, 3114 BC and ends in December
21st 2012.
It is estimated that this stella is at least 2000 years old, because
settlements in the area where the pyramids of Coba exist have been
dated somewhere between 600 and 900 CE.
Mayan glifs signifying December 22th, 2012
According to the Mayan people the end of the long Mayan Cycle will
bring the end of the age of oppression and violence, and this will
bethe beginning of the "GoldenAge". However this beginning will not be
a peaceful transformation; there will be upheavals in every corner of
the world, many disasters will come upon that will wear-out the
structures of the state. These will not happen in a short while; they
will occur in a long period of time. Again according to the Mayan
people, following all these happenings, "great blessed people", whom
they believe will be the spiritual leaders of all humanity, will come.
Before their coming, there will be spiritual workers whowill prepare
their way. Mayan people believe that the date December 21st, 2012
signifies the time whenthese spiritual workers will gradually increase
their influence.

ISLAMIC ARTICLE - ~ Miracles Of The Qur'an -

The Noble Qur'an is the only Divine scripture to have come down
unchanged, as a revelation from Allah, to the present day. One of the
proofs confirming that the Qur'an is the word of Allah is the
scientific and mathematical miracles it contains. Scientific facts
that could not have been known at the time when the Qur'an was sent
down, reports concerning earlier times, events referring to the
futureand the mathematical arrangements within it are just a few of
the miraculous aspects of the Qur'an.
As the word of Allah, the Almighty and Omniscient, the Noble Qur'an
also contains a great many facts that people are unable to understand
or lack the information with which to comprehend them. By meansof
advances in science and technology, this information is emerging into
the light of day – at a time and in a manner of our Lord's choosing –
and is further revealing the miraculous nature of the Qur'an.
There is certainly no need to see these miraculous features or
examples that confirm that the Qur'an is in complete agreement with
science in order to believe that the Qur'an is the revelation of
Allah. The Qur'an is a book that distinguished between truth and
falsehood and reflected Allah's infinite wisdom and knowledge even
long beforethese scientific discoveries were made. However, the
examples in this book will beinstrumental in many people not living by
the religious morality coming to have faith and in increasing Muslims'
fervor and depth of faith. As our Lord reveals in one verse in the
Qur'an:
We will show them Our signs on the horizon and within themselves until
it is clear to them that it is the truth. … (Surah Fussilat, 53)

HADEES - ~

The Prophet, peace be upon him, kept drawing his Companion's attention
to the necessity of respecting all animal species. He once told them
the following story: "A man was walking along a road, in very hot
weather. He saw a well and went down to quench his thirst. When he
climbed up again, he saw a dog panting with thirst and said to
himself: 'This dog is as thirsty as I was.' He then wentdown the well
again, filled his shoe with water and climbed up, holding it between
his teeth. He gave the dog to drink and God rewarded him and forgave
hissins." The Prophet was then asked: "O Prophet, are we rewarded for
treating animalswell?" And the Prophet answered: "Any good towardsa
living creature gets its reward." [Bukhari, Muslim]

HISTORY - ~ The Marriage of Khadija

Muhammad was twenty-five years old. He was known all over Makkah.
People knew that he was fair, decent and honest with a clear
conscience, so they nicknamed him Al-ameen, the honest. Khadija was a
noble rich woman of Quraysh. Each year Khadija hired some men to trade
for her. She loaned money to merchants and made them her partners in
trade and profits. That way she guaranteed that they would be honest
in their business. On the day Khadija was making arrangements with the
merchants, Abu Talib met his nephew Muhammad. Abu Talib said to him,
"I ama penniless man. Business is getting very bad for we have had a
couple of bad years. Now we have to trade. The caravan is preparing to
leave and Khadija, the daughter of Khuwaylid, is hiring men totrade
for her. Those men make lots of money. Why don't you go and ask her
tohire you. She will give you preference over the others for she has
heard a lot about your decency." Muhammad said, "Maybe she is going to
suggest that herself." His uncle said that he was afraid she might
hire someone else if they did not ask. Muhammad refused to ask her. He
did not want to askpeople to do things for him.
Abu Talib went to Khadija and asked, "Would you hireMuhammad?" Khadija
answered, " If you asked me to hire a stranger, I would have done it
for you. How can I refuse such a decent honest man as Muhammad." Then
she sent for Muhammad. Whenhe came she said to him, "I have decided to
hire you because I have heard aboutyour truthfulness, your honesty and
your decent manners. I am offering youtwice what I would offer another
man." Muhammad accepted the offer to trade for her. Later he met his
uncle Abu Talib and told him about Khadija's offer. Abu Talib said,
"That is something Allah sent to you." Muhammad preparedto leave with
Khadija's caravan. Her servant Maysara was going with him. Muhammad's
uncles came to say goodbye to him. They asked the other merchants to
take care of him and help him. This wasthe first time Muhammad had
gone trading without his uncles. The caravan traveled for days and
nights. Muhammad and Maysara chatted together. Maysara enjoyed hearing
Muhammad. He liked his good manners and the longer they stayed
together, the more Maysara admired Muhammad.
The caravan arrived at the market at Busraa. Muhammad and Maysara
started to sell Khadija's goods. In one sale a dispute arose between
Muhammad and a customer. The customer said to Muhammad, "Swearby the
Latt and the Uzzaa." Latt and Uzzaa were two idols which some of the
people worshipped at the time. Muhammad said, "I never swear by the
Latt and Uzzaa." The customer was astounded. All the Arabs swore by
these two idols. So he said, "Whateveryou say." The customer accepted
Muhammad's word because he realized that Muhammad was not like other
merchants. They swore by the idols and still told lies and cheated.
The men sold all the goods they had. They made good profits. So
Maysara said to Muhammad happily, "Muhammad, we have traded for years
for Khadijabut we never made as much profit as we made with you."
Khadija stood looking through a high window, waiting. It was time for
hercaravan to return. Finally she saw the camels, donkeys and mules
causingthe dust to rise in the distance. The returning caravan was
indeed Khadija's. Muhammad and Maysara were in front when Maysara said
to Muhammad, "Why don't you hurry to Khadija to tell her about the
profits Allah has given to us." So Muhammad went ahead. Khadija was
watching at the window when she saw Muhammad on his camel. She
recognized him and prepared herself to meet him. Muhammad walked in,
handsome and beautiful. He told her aboutwhat he did not the trip and
about the profits they had made. She was listening to him delighted.
Her heart opened to him. After he told her everything, she asked,
Where is Maysara now?" Muhammad answered, "Still in the desert."
Khadijasaid, "Go back to him and ask him to hurry."
Maysara came and told her about profits made in the trip. It was twice
what she usually made, but she was not interested in how the business
went. She wantedto know about Muhammadand what he did on the trip.
Maysara told her everything.
Khadija was forty years old.The people nicknamed her the pure woman
and the "Lady of the Quraysh". She was beautiful. She had a fair
complexion, and was slightly plump. Her hair was raven black and
smooth while her eyes were wide. Many of the noble people of Quraysh
wanted to marry her, but she refused them all. However, when she saw
Muhammad, she loved him and thought of marrying him. But how could she
propose to him?
Since Muhammad and Maysara had become friends on the caravan, Khadija
decided to send Maysara to Muhammad to talk to him.
