*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -*
-
Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

I changed from worrying to praying
the relationship between the husband and wife should be based on mutuallove and kindness.
"According to the Qur'an the relationship between the husband and wife
should be based on mutuallove and kindness. Allah says: "And among His
Signsis this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves,
that ye may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and
mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are Signs for those who
reflect." (Ar-Rum: 21)
The Qur'an urges husbands to treat their wives with kindness. [In the
event of a family dispute, the Qur'an exhorts the husband to treat his
wife kindly and not to overlook her positive aspects]. Allah Almighty
says: "Live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take
a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and Allah brings
about through it a great deal of good." (An-Nisa': 19)

"I am not fasting for my parents, I am fasting for Allah"
There was a little girl (six years old) who was fasting in Ramadhan,
even though it is not obligatory on people below the age of puberty.
She was in school, and at lunch time, when all the other children went
out to eat and have lunch, she sat in the classroom, because she was
fasting.
Her (non-muslim) teacher thought that she was too young to fast, and
so said that it was not necessary, and she could eat a little.
The girl still didn't eat. Then the teacher said:"Your parents are not
here,it doesn't matter if you eat a little".
The girl replied: "I am not fasting for my parents, I am fasting for Allah".
This simple statement had such a profound effect on the teacher, that
later she accepted Islam...!!
