*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Dought - clear - A fabricated hadeeth about praying two rak‘ahs every Thursday during Sha‘baan.

I received a message likethis in my e-mail: Praying two rak'ahs every
Thursday during Sha'baan: The Messenger(blessings and peace of Allah
be upon him and his family) said: "Whoever prays two rak'ahs at that
time, reciting in each rak'ah the Opening of the Book (al-Faatihah)
and "Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad" (Soorat al-Ikhlaas) one hundred times, and
when he says the salaam, he sends blessings upon the Prophet
(blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) one hundred times,Allah
will fulfil all his needs in his religious and worldly affairs." I
would like to find out how sound these words are and how to do these
two rak'ahs, seeing that it mentions reciting Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad one
hundred times; is that recitation to be completed during the two
rak'ahs or afterwards?.
Praise be to Allaah.
This hadeeth has no basis in the books of Sunnah. It would appearto be
one of the fabricated hadeeths thatspeak of the virtues of praying in
Sha'baan. A number of hadeeths were fabricated and falsely attributed
to the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) about the
virtues of Sha'baan and pray during this month, and the night of the
fifteenth of the month. Al-'Allaamah Ibn Hajar al-Haytami (may Allah
have mercy on him) said:All the hadeeths which speak of the virtues of
this night – meaning the night of the first Friday of Rajab and the
night ofthe fifteenth of Sha'baan– are false and has no basis, even
though they appear in some books bymajor scholars such as
al-Ghazaali's Ihya' 'Uloom ad-Deen and so on. End quote.
Al-Fataawa al-Fiqhiyyah al-Kubra, 1/184
Similarly, hadeeths werefabricated about the virtue of praying on
certain days of the week.
Ash-Shawkaani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: With regard towhat
is said about praying on Sunday, Monday or other days of the week,
there is no dispute among the scholars of hadeeth that these are
fabricated hadeeths and that this prayer is not regarded as mustahabb
by any of the leading scholars. Endquote.
Al-Fawaa'id al-Mawdoo'iyyah, 1/74
So it is not permissible toact upon this false and fabricated hadeeth.
In the saheeh hadeeths there is sufficient for theone who wants to
truly follow the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
And Allah knows best.

Dought - clear - The Sunnah of raising the hands when saying takbeer in the janaazah (funeral) prayer.

What is the ruling on raising the hands when saying takbeer in the
funeral prayer?
Praise be to Allah.
There is no difference of opinion among the scholars (may Allah have
mercy on them) concerning the fact that the Sunnah is to raise the
hands when saying the first takbeer of the funeral prayer.
An-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:Ibn al-Mundhir said in
his book al-Ishraaf wa'l-Ijmaa': They are unanimously agreed that (the
worshipper) should raise his hands when saying the first takbeer, but
they differed concerning the rest of it.
End quote from Sharh al-Muhadhdhab, 5/190
With regard to the othertakbeers, the scholars (may Allah have mercy
on them) differed as to whether the hands should be raised or not?
In al-Mawsoo'ah al-Fiqhiyyah (16/29) it says: He should only raise his
hands in the first takbeer, according to the Hanafis. This was the
view of Maalik and itis the more correct view according to their
madhhab. … The Shaafa'is and Hanbalis said that it is Sunnah to raise
the hands with every takbeer. End quote.
Ibn al-Mundhir favoured the view that the hands should be raised with
every takbeer. See al-Majmoo', 5/190
Shaykh Ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The Sunnah is to
raise the hands with all four takbeers, because it is proven that Ibn
'Umar and Ibn 'Abbaas used to raise their hands with all the takbeers.
Ad-Daaraqutni narrated it in a marfoo' report from Ibn 'Umar with a
jayyid isnaad.
End quote from Majmoo'al-Fataawa, 13/148
Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: Which
is better, to raise the hands or not raise them in the funeral prayer?
He replied: The correct view is that raising the hands with the
takbeer in the funeral prayer is Sunnah with each of the takbeers, as
was clearly narrated from Ibn 'Umar.Such tawqeefi matters (i.e.,
matters that must be based on sound reports and cannot be subject to
ijtihaad) can only be determined on the basis of a text. In factit is
narrated that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)
used to raise his hands with every takbeer.
End quote from Duroos wa Fataawa al-Haram al-Madani.
He also said: The correct view is that (the worshipper) should
raisehis hands with every takbeer, because that is narrated in a
saheeh report from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with
him). With regard to the view of some, that it should be done only in
the opening takbeer, this is the view of some of the scholars, but the
correct view is that it should be done with every takbeer. End quote
from Majmoo' al-Fataawa, 17/134
And Allah knows best.

Quran the Clear Truth - A NUMERIC MIRACLE OF THE QURAN

The word (Sea or Water) is mentioned 32 times, and the word (Landmass)
is mentioned 13 times in the Holy Quran. If we add them together we
will get 45.
Now let us do some calculations.
By finding the percentage of the number of the word (Sea) to the total
number of the words (Sea and Landmass) we will have:
(32/45)x100% = 71.11111111111%
By finding the percentage of the number of the word (Landmass) to the
total number of the words(Sea and Landmass) we will have:
(13/45)x100% = 28.88888888889%
Scientists have only recently discovered that these are the actual
ratios of the water and landmass of this world. However,Allah has
revealed this information already in the Quran over fourteen hundred
years ago!
So what do you think? Could it bea Chance?

Quran the Clear Truth - PRESERVATION OF PHARAOH’S BODY

Dr. Maurice Bucaille is an eminentFrench surgeon, scientist,
scholarand author of "The Bible, The Quran and Science" which contains
the result of his research into the Judeo-Christian Revelation and the
Quran. It is a unique contribution in the field of religion and
science.
Being an outstanding Scientist, he was selected to treat the mummy of
Merneptah (Pharaoh), which he did. During his visit to Saudi Arabia he
was shown the verses of the Holy Quran in which Allah says that the
dead body of the Pharaoh will be preserved as a "Sign" for posterity.
"So this day We shall deliver your (dead) body (out from the sea) that
you may be a sign to those who come after you! And verily, many among
mankind are heedless of Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons,
signs , revelations, etc.)." (The Quran, 10:92)
An impartial scientist like Dr. Bucaille, who (being also a Christian)
was conversant with the Biblical version of Pharaoh's story as being
drowned in pursuit of Prophet Moses. He was pleasantly surprised to
learn that unknown to the world till only of late 20th century, the
Holy Quran made definite prediction about the preservation of the body
of that same Pharaoh of Moses' time. This led Dr. Bucaille to studythe
Holy Quran thoroughly after learning the Arabic language and accepted
Islam as the truth.
The body of Pharaoh is now lying in a Cairo museum as an open miracle
of the Holy Quran, for those who pay heed to the signs of Allah.
