*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Fathwa, - Coitus interruptus

Question
What is the rule of coitus interruptus?
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. 'Azl means coitus interruption, i.e. pulling out man's sexual organ to ejaculate out of uterus. Muslim scholars differed on this issue. Some of them prohibited it: They based this view on a Hadith narrated from Juzamah Bint Wahab al-Asadiyah, who said: "They asked Prophet Muhammad )Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him( about coitus interruption. He replied:" That is a kind of hidden burying alive )a new born one(". Some of them permitted it without any restrictions. This is known in Madhab of Shafie. The majority of Muslim scholars permitted it as long as the consent of the wife is gained. This is the most correct opinion since Jabir )( said: "We used to practice coitus interruption during the lifetime of Allah's Apostle while the Qur'an was being revealed". ]Bukhari & Muslim[. Imam Muslim also narrated: "The Prophet Muhammad )Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him( had known that )i.e.'Azl( but he did not prohibit it". Allah knows best.

Fathwa, - Practicing coitus interruptus without wife's permission

Question
Assalam alaykum, You say in some fatwas on your website that azl
)ciotus interruptus( could be practiced only with the permission of
the wife. I heard from a sheikh that it is not true, since there is no
evidence in the sunnah for it and that is only ijtihad. The hadith
simply states that the sahaba used to practice azl during the time of
the Prophet sas, and he did not object. So that sheikh claims that a
husband only should decide when to have children from a wife, not the
wife, and that husband can practice azl without wife`s permission. Can
you, please, bring me proofs against his claim? Jazakallahu kheiran,
wa alaykum asalam
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify
that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that
Muhammadis His slave and Messenger.
There is a narration about the dislikeability of practising coitus
interruptus with one's wife except with her permission; this is
narrated by'Umarand reported by ImaamAhmad.
This is also supported by logic and sound reasoning, because a woman
is harmed by coitus interruptus, as she is prevented from fully
enjoying her husband and prevented from having children whereas she
has the right in having children; and the Prophetsaid:"There should be
no harm and no reciprocal harm."]Ahmad and Ibn Maajah[ this is why it
is correct to say that her permission should be sought in this regard.
In addition to this, coitus interruptus without her permission
contradicts the Commandment of Allaah in treating wives kindly. Allaah
Says )what means(: }And live with them in kindness.{]Quran 4:19[Allaah
Knows best.

Question
Salam Alaykom. IS it right for my husband not to let me get pregnant just because I am very skinny?? I weigh like 105 pounds and he says I can't get pregnant unless I gain like 20 pounds. It is a little hard for me to gain that much and I am saddened by him telling me I have to gain a certain weight. I also want to mention that sometimes my husband says that since we have 3 children, that we can't have kids until later on?? Is this fair also??? I view pregnancy as a wonderful experience and I like to enjoy every minute of it. May Allah reward you.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammadis His slave and Messenger.
In principle having children is a right for both spouses; therefore, it is not permissible for any of them to prevent the other from this right without a sound religious reason.
Hence, if your husband has a good reason supported by the statement of specialised doctors that becoming pregnant in your condition ]being of little weight[ may affect your health, then he is right. However, if he prevents you just because he is not willing to have many children because of the issue of providing for them, then he is not permitted to prevent you.
Finally, we advise you to discuss the matter with your husband in a nice manner in light of the above.
Allaah Knows best.

Question
Assalamu Alaykum My name is Khalid , I live in USA. I have a question which am finding hard to get straight forward answer. I am getting married )Insha Allah( this year, my fiancĂ©e and I are both college students. We agreed to that she uses pills to avoid getting pregnant, since it will be hard for both of us especially her to rise a child & go to school. Even though we both love to have kids if Allah gives us, so she went to her doctor & they told her the saves way is to take 1 pill a day & 1 injection every month. But we don’t want to do anything haram or against the will of Allah, so please help us is what we are doing right. I have asked these question different sheikhs & am getting different answers. Please give as an answer with reference to Quran or Hadith. May Allah bless all of you, I have learnt so much from this web. SWC.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammadis His slave and Messenger.
It is permissible to delay having children for a temporary period for a specific benefit as in the case that you mentioned in the question, which is delaying having children until finishing studies. The Sharee’ah permitted this for a necessity, and the evidence for this is thatJaabirnarrated that a man from the Ansaar came to the Prophetand said: "I have a female slave, and she is our servant and she carries water for us, and I have sexual intercourse with her, but I do not want her to be pregnant.”Thereupon the Prophetsaid: ''You may practice ‘Azl )coitus interruptus( if you so like, and it is only what Allaah decreed for her that will come to her.” ]Muslim[
Moreover,Jaabirsaid: “We used to practice ‘Azl during the lifetime of the Prophet. This )the news of this practice( reached him and he did not forbid us from doing so.” ]Muslim[
