*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Hadees, - patience

:-> Found In: Imam Malik's Muwatta Chapter No: 58, Sadaqa Hadithno: 7 Narrated: Abu Said Al-Khudri Malik related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Ata ibn Yazid al-Laythi from Abu Said al-Khudri that some people of the Ansar asked the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he gave to them. Then they asked him again, and he gave to them until he used up what he had. Then he said, "What wealth I have, I will not hoard from you. Whoever has forbearance, Allah will help him. Whoever tries to be independent, Allah will enrich him. Whoever tries to be patient, Allah will give himpatience, and no one is given a better or vaster gift thanpatience." Relevance: 7.1445 Found In: Sahih Bukhari Chapter No: 23, Funerals (Al-Janaaiz) Hadithno: 389 Narrated: Anas The Prophet said, "The realpatienceis at the first stroke of a calamity." Relevance: 6.0379 Found In: Sahih Bukhari Chapter No: 23, Funerals (Al-Janaaiz) Hadithno: 372 Narrated: Anas bin Malik The Prophet passed by a woman who was weeping beside a grave. He told her to fear Allah and be patient. She said to him, "Go away, for you have not been afflicted with a calamity like mine." And she did not recognize him. Then she was informed that he was the Prophet . so she went to the house of the Prophet and there she did not find any guard. Then she said to him, "I did not recognize you." He said, "Verily, thepatienceis at the first stroke of a calamity." Relevance: 4.6174 Found In: Sunan Ibn Majah Chapter No: 2, The Chapters of Purification and its Sunnah Hadithno: 280 Narrated: Abu Malik Ashari that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: “Performing ablution properly’* is half of faith, saying Al-Hamdu Lillah fills the Scale (of good deeds), saying Subhan-Allah and Allahu Akbar fills the heavens and the earth, prayer is light, Zakat is proof, patienceis brightness and the Quran is proof for you or against you. Every person goes out in the morning to sell his soul, so he either frees it or destroys it.’” (Sahih) Relevance: 4.3827 Found In: Imam Nawawi's 40 hadith Chapter No: 1, An-Nawawi's 40 Hadith Hadithno: 22 Narrated: Abu Malik Al-Harith bin Asim Al-Ashari said that the messenger of Allah said: "Purity is half of faith. alhamdu-lillah [Praise be to Allah] fills the scales, and subhana-Allah [How far is Allah from every imperfection] and alhamdu-lillah [Praise be to Allah] fill that which is between heaven and earth. Prayer is light; charity is a proof;patienceis illumination; and the Quran is an argument for or against you. Everyone starts his day and is a vendor of his soul, either freeing it or bringing about its ruin." related by Muslim. Relevance: 4.2065 Found In: Imam Malik's Muwatta Chapter No: 21, Jihad Hadithno: 6 Narrated: Yahya related to me from Malik that Zayd ibn Aslam had said that Ubayda ibn al-Jarrah had written to Umar ibn al-Khattab mentioning to him a great array of Byzantine troops and the anxiety they were causing him. Umar ibn al-Khattab wrote in reply to him, "Whatever hardship befalls a believing slave, Allah will make an opening for him after it, and a hardship will not overcome two eases. Allah the Exalted says in His Book, 'O you who trust, be patient, and vie inpatience; be steadfast and fear Allah, perhaps you will profit.' " (Sura 3 ayat 200). Relevance: 4.1004 Found In: Sahih Bukhari Chapter No: 13, Friday Prayer Hadithno: 45 Narrated: Amr bin Taghlib Some property or something was brought to Allah's Apostle and he distributed it. He gave to some men and ignored the others. Later he got the news of his being admonished by those whom he had ignored. So he glorified and praised Allah and said, "Amma ba'du. By Allah, I may give to a man and ignore another, although the one whom I ignore is more beloved to me than the one whom I give. But I give to some people as I feel that they have nopatienceand no contentment in their hearts and I leave those who are patient and self-contented with the goodness and wealth which Allah has put into their hearts and 'Amr bin Taghlib is one of them." Amr added, By Allah! Those words of Allah's Apostle are more beloved to me than the best red camels. Relevance: 4.0174 Found In: Sahih Bukhari Chapter No: 24, Obligatory Charity Tax (Zakat) Hadithno: 548 Narrated: Abu Said Al-Khudri Some Ansari persons asked for (something) from Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) and he gave them. They again asked him for (something) and he again gave them. And then they asked him and he gave them again till all that was with him finished. And then he said "If I had anything. I would not keep it away from you. (Remember) Whoever abstains from asking others, Allah will make him contented, and whoever tries to make himself self-sufficient, Allah will make him self-sufficient. And whoever remains patient, Allah will make him patient. Nobody can be given a blessing better and greater thanpatience." Relevance: 3.9095 Found In: Sahih Bukhari Chapter No: 52, Conditions Hadithno: 903 Narrated: Ubai bin Kab Allah's Apostle (SAW) said, "Musa (Moses) the Apostle (SAW) of Allah," and then he narrated the whole story about him. Khidr said to Musa, "Did not I tell you that you can have nopatiencewith me." (18.72). Musa then violated the agreement for the first time because of forgetfulness, then Moses promised that if he asked Al-Khidr about anything, the latter would have the right to desert him. Moses abided by that condition and on the third occasion he intentionally asked Al-Khidr and caused that condition to be applied. The three occasions referred to above are referred to by the following Verses: '....Call me not to account for what I forgot, and be not hard upon me for my affair (with you).' (18.73) '....Till they met a boy and he (Al-Khidr) killed him....' 'Then they both proceeded ... found therein a wall which was on the verge of falling and he (Al-Khidr) set it up straight....' " (18.77) Relevance: 3.7434 Found In: Sunan Ibn Majah Chapter No: 1, The Book of the Sunnah Hadithno: 113 Narrated: Aisha 'When he was ill, the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'I would like to have some of my Companions with me.' We said: 'O Messenger of Allah! (saw) Shall we call Abu Bakr for you?' But he remained silent. We said: 'Shall we call Umar for you?' But he remained silent. We said: 'Shall we call Uthman for you?' He said: 'Yes.' So Uthman came and he spoke to him in private. The Prophet (saw) started to speak to him and Uthman's expression changed.” Qais said: “Abu Sahlah, the freed slave of Uthman, narrated to me that on the Day of the House, Uthman bin Affan said: 'The Messenger of Allah (saw) told me what would come to pass and now I am coming to that day.'” In his narration of the Hadith, Ali (one of the narrators) said (that he said): “And I am going to bear it withpatience.” Qais said: “They used to think that that was the Day of the House.” (Sahih)
