*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

The divine decree related to the believer is always...

"♥ "The divine decree related to the believer is always a bounty, even
if it is in the form of withholding (something that is desired); and
it is a blessing, even if it appears to be a trial and an affliction

to be a disease!" ♥ :')

Asia - India - South Andhra Pradesh - Hyderabad :-> 'CHARMINAR'

--
The Charminar is as much the signature of Hyderabad as the Taj Mahal
is of Agra or the Eiffel Tower is of Paris.
It is a magnificent square edifice of granite, built upon four grand
arches facing North, South, East and West. These arches support two
floors of rooms and gallery of archways. At each corner of the square
structure is aminaret rising to a height of 24 meters, making the
building nearly 54 meters tall. It is these four (char) minarets
(minar) that give the building, its name Charminar. Each minar stands
on a lotus-leaf base, a special recurrent motif in Qutub Shahi
buildings.
The first floor was used as a madarasa (college) during the Qutub
Shahi period. The second floor has a mosque on the western side, the
dome of which is visible from the road, if one stands some distance
away. A spectacular view of the city may be had from the roof of the
Charminar, although, due to severe overcrowding of the minarets, only
visitors with special permission from the Archaeological Survey of
India, HyderabadCircle are allowed to go to the top of the minarets.
The clocks above each of the four archways were added in 1889./ - - -

“Pray to Allaah for forgiveness.”

A man complained to al-Hasan Al Basri about a drought, and he said to
him: "Pray to Allaah for forgiveness." Another man complained to him
of poverty and he said to him: "Pray to Allaah to forgive you."
Another man said to him: "Pray to Allaah to bless me with a child." He
said: "Pray to Allaah for forgiveness." Another complained to him that
his garden was dry. He said to him: "Pray to Allaah for forgiveness."
We asked him about that and he said: "This is not my personal opinion,
for Allaah says in Soorat Nooh (interpretation of the meaning): 'Ask
forgiveness from your Lord, verily, He is Oft-Forgiving; He will send
rain to you in abundance. And give you increase in wealth and
children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers."

ASK ALLAH AND HE WILL ANSWER YOU! INSHA' ALLAH.

Abi Hurayrata reported that the Prophet (pbuh) said: The bondservant
shall continue to have his supplications answered so long as he does
not supplicatefor sin, or the severance of kinship; so long as he does
not rush it. They said: O Messenger ofAllah what is "rushing it?" He
said[that] he say I have supplicated, and supplicated, and I have not
seen an answer; thereupon, getting tired and abandoning supplication/

Purification of the Soul

Purification of the soul. This is a very important aspect of the
Muslim's life. Unfortunately, many have neglected this vital right
oftheir souls... "Indeed he succeeds who purifies his ownself (i.e.
obeys and performs all that Allâh ordered, by following the true Faith
of Islâmic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds). " (Surah
Ash-Shams [91]:9)

In a season of consumerist madness, let’s be grateful, and give:

At this time of year the stores are pushing their sales at us. Advertising is everywhere. There if a frenzy to buy, buy, buy. Let’s realize that this is not a spiritual way of life. It’s not an appropriate lifestylefor someone who is dedicated to God. The consumerist madness is a deception. There’s no joy orpeace attached to it. It’s a shallow illusion.
Look at what society has done to itself in the name of consumerism. A day of thanks (Thanksgiving) has become the prelude to “Black Friday”, the biggest shopping day of the year. Itused to be that Black Friday did not begin until Friday morning, out of respect for Thanksgiving. Then the starting gun was moved to midnight, and now it has crept into Thursday evening. Nothing is sacred.
The Prophet ‘Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus the son of Mary), peace be upon him, has been turned into a marketing strategy. His purported birthday has become a month of shopping insanity, presidedover by a mythical sub-deity named Santa. People go into debt, they fight over sale goods… no mention is made of faith.
We Muslims fall prey to thesame consumerist lifestyle. Sometimes the holy monthof Ramadan becomes a month of shopping, sleeping and binge eating, astaghfirullah.
Let us – Christians, Muslims,Jews and all people of God – not follow this path. Let’shew to a way of sacrifice, zakat (purification), sadaqah (charity), zuhd (giving up material luxury). We don’t have to be monks, but we must focus on the things that matter: faith and family.
There are movements that advocate a simple living, back-to-nature, low-impactlifestyle. In Islam this is called zuhd , which could be translated as detachment or asceticism. Zuhd is a choice that a person makes to give up the hunger for material possessions and transgressive carnal experiences, and live a simple lifestyle dedicated to God.
That’s what we need.
The faith in our hearts is more important than the brand name of the clothes we wear. Where our feet carry us – to someplace good or bad – is more important than the cost of our shoes. The sincerity in our hearts is more important than any gift. May Allah help us to see what is important in life.
The Enjoyment of Delusion
There’s a powerful verse from the Bible, Proverbs 30:8-9:
Give me neither poverty nor riches,
grant me only my share of bread to eat,
for fear that surrounded byplenty, I should fall away
and say, “Yahweh – who is Yahweh?”
or else in destitution, take to stealing
and profane the name of my God.
(Yahweh is an ancient Hebrew name for God).
If you visit the shopping malls at Christmastime, andread the news stories of people lining up from the night before and huddling in sleeping bags in order tobuy the latest gadgets, then trampling each other in the rush; if you turn on the TV to the usual Christmas comedies and “Frosty the Snowman” cartoons, you see that God has been forgotten, and has even become taboo. It’s not politically correct tospeak of God. Just watch what we broadcast, be hypnotized by our Christmas elevator music, buy and forget…
Allah says about this:
“Know that the life of thisworld is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children – like the example of a rainwhose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion.” – Quran, Surat Al-Hadeed, 57:20
This theme is struck repeatedly in the Quran. The amusement and adornment of the dunya is an illusion that dries up and crumbles like a corn stalk, and becomes dust. It is empty, the enjoyment of delusion . Wow. That phrase, “enjoyment of delusion”, makes me think of a madman alone in a room, tied in a straight jacket, engaged in a pleasant delusion playing only in his mind.
I know people who have a bedroom devoted to all thejunk that they have boughtbut do not use. They never enter that room and the door is kept locked. Isn’t that a kind of mental illness?
Gratitude
How do we resist the onslaught of the season? How do we remember Allah?/

“Falsehood is written as falsehood, and asmall falsehood is written as a small falsehood.” [Muslim]

Falsehood is Falsehood Small or Big
Asma bint Yazeed (radi Allahu anha) narrated that she once asked the
Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam): "Ifone of us women
stated that she had no desire to have a certain thing even though she
had that desire, then would it be considered a lie?" He (sal Allahu
alaihi wa sallam) replied: "Falsehood is written as falsehood, and
asmall falsehood is written as a small falsehood." [Muslim]
There are many lies we tell in the course of a day that unfortunately
we don't payany attention to. They havebecome standard forms of speech
for us even though they are lies. Allah's beloved Messenger (sal
Allahu alaihi wa sallam) warned that no matter how small the lie may
appear to us, it will be noted in our record of deeds as a lie,
perhaps not a big lie, but a lie nevertheless.
When we try to remove even the smallest trace of falsehood from our
speech will we be abstaining from big lies that we considered
insignificant/

Be wise like a 70 years old, energetic like a 20:

When people ask you about your age, what do you reply? Your real age
is not the number of years since the day of your birth, but your real
age is what you decide yourself to be! Be wise like a 70 years old,
energetic like a 20, innocent like 7, but most importantly, count only
theyears you have been with Allah, because at the end, they are the
only years that would count in your scale!

He was a lovely child, he was more precious then anything you've seen

Our Children: This is the story of a Muslim named My Advise:
It's a symbolic story that many of us may know.
He was born in a Muslim family but they were weak in the Deen.
He was a lovely child, he was more precious then anything you've seen.
He grew up so quick; it wasjust a flash before his parent's eyes.
They didn't get to teach him about Islam. You knowhow the time just flies.
Before they knew it, they were sending him off to school.
They were so happy; he shined like a precious little jewel.
He was taught that he was a Muslim, but that's about all he knew.
He wanted to know more but his dad had way too many things to do.
He had cute little cheeks; they turned rosy as he got tired.
He was a handsome little guy, he was always admired.
But with his parents so busy, he never got to learn about Allah.
The days passed by and hisparents never taught him how to do Salaah.
Some more years passed by, and by now his voice began to change.
He felt new emotions, and he liked them, even thoughthey felt strange.
His dad finally took him one day to some Islamic Sunday school.
But he had already learned from his friends that religion just wasn't cool.
Time past by and the little man grew older.
With the passage of time his temper became bolder.
His mother was getting worried, he was found to be ditching school.
But she didn't say anything, or else his temper would flare up like fuel.
He would go to parties andcome home all drunk.
And in some of his classes he was now beginning to flunk.
Her cute little rosy cheekedchild had become a wild young man.
She cried every night because teaching him Islam was never in her plan.
He met a pretty girl namedRose; he thought he loved her for sure.
She noticed how he felt, so she asked him to go out with her.
He thought it was love at first sight; she kissed him on the first date.
But she just wanted to sleep with him, yet to that he had no debate.
He would go out all night with her, sometimes without even saying goodbye.
"Why didn't I show him theDeen?" His father could only cry.
He kept on partying while his family kept on weeping.
And he met other girls, andwith them too he was also sleeping.
He started to look sick, and he wasn't really feeling so good.
His mother just had to cry, he didn't look like the way he should.
He went to the doctor for what he thought was a cold.
"Young man, you've got AIDS," is what he was told.
When his mom found out she just couldn't take the pain.
For not teaching him his Deen, she knew she was to blame.
Mo got sicker and you could see him getting weaker day by day.
And he didn't know Allah, so to Him he never prayed.
What could she do now forher once precious little guy?
She knew he needed the Deen, but now she could only cry.
His time came one day so the Angel came for his spirit.
His dad told him to say la ilaha illalah, but Mo didn't hear it.
"What's that dad? I can't seem to hear you, everything's going dull."
But before Mo ever heard it, the Angel was off with his soul.
His father fell to his knees and cried like he never did before.
He knew he should have taught him the Deen, so hefelt guilty to the core.
This is the story of little Mo.Lets not let it be the story of our
kid's situation.
So please, my dear brothers and sisters, take this Deen to the next generation!/

Nabi'(sal Allahu alaihi wasallam) said: “He who stirs enmity among people, by quoting their words to each other, will not enter Paradise.”

Backbiting
Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wasallam) said: "He who stirs enmity
among people, by quoting their words to each other, will not enter
Paradise." [Bukhari]
Unfortunately, this is a common social evil these days. Rather than
mend relations among people, Shaytaan has us excited about carrying
tales to each other. "You won't believe what he did!...Can you imagine
what she said?..."
Refuse to listen to what other people have said or done. It is
backbiting, just to hear it. If what you are being told about is not
true, it is an even bigger sin, both for the person telling it and the
person listening to it. If you tell yourself not to believe everything
you hear, your heart will nevertheless be tainted by it. That is why
the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) told his companions not to
say things about each other to him, since he didn't want to meet them
with disquietin his heart. If Rasul Allah's feelings for people had
the possibility of getting soured by hearing tales about them, despite
his being rehmat-ul-lil-a lameen, then we are certainly not above
being corrupted by listening to tales.
The people who carry tales from one person to another, do it in the
guise of well wishers. First they sympathize with one party. Then they
take what they have gleaned to other people and sow discord, ruining
relations between people, by repeating things. A person who behaves in
such a manner is being two faced. Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi
wasallam) said: "You find that among the worst people is someone who
is two-faced, showing one face to some and another face to others."
[Bukhari]/

What do Muslims think about Jesus?

What do Muslims think about
Jesus?
Muslims respect and revere
Jesus, and await his Second
Coming. They consider him
one of the greatest of God's
messengers to mankind. A
Muslim never refers to him
simply as 'Jesus', but always
adds the phrase 'upon him
be peace'. The Quran
confirms his virgin birth (a
chapter of the Quran is
entitled 'Mary'), and Mary is
considered the purest
woman in all creation. The
Quran describes the
Annunciation as follows:
'Behold!' the Angel said,
'God has chosen you, and
purified you, and chosen
you above the women of all
nations. O Mary, God gives
you good news of a word
from Him, whose name shall
be the Messiah, Jesus son of
Mary, honored in this world
and the Hereafter, and one
of those brought near to
God. He shall speak to the
people from his cradle and
in maturity, and shall be of
the righteous.'
She said: 'O my Lord! How
shall I have a son when no
man has touched me?' He
said: 'Even so; God creates
what He will. When He
decrees a thing, He says to
it, "Be!" and it is.' (Quran,
3:42-7)
Jesus was born miraculously
through the same power
which had brought Adam
into being without a father:
Truly, the likeness of Jesus
with God is as the likeness
of Adam. He created him of
dust, and then said to him,
'Be!' and he was. (Quran,
3:59)
During his prophetic mission
Jesus performed many
miracles. The Quran tells us
that he said:
I have come to you with a
sign from your Lord: I make
for you out of clay, as it
were, the figure of a bird,
and breathe into it and it
becomes a bird by God's
leave. And I heal the blind,
and the lepers and I raise
the dead by God's leave.
(Quran, 3:49)
Neither Muhammad nor
Jesus came to change the
basic doctrine of the belief
in One God, brought by
earlier prophets, but to
confirm and renew it. In the
Quran Jesus is reported as
saying that he came:
To attest the law which was
before me. And to make
lawful to you part of what
was forbidden you; I have
come to you with a sign
from your Lord, so fear God
and obey Me. (Quran, 3:5O)
The Prophet Muhammad
said:
Whoever believes there is
no god but God, alone
without partner, that
Muhammad is His
messenger, that Jesus is the
servant and messenger of
God, His word breathed into
Mary and a spirit emanating
from Him, and that Paradise
and Hell are true, shall be
received by God into
Heaven. (Hadith from
Bukhari)/
