*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Engagment, - Dought & clear, - * Is it obligatory for the fiancé or fiancée to tell the other that he or she has diabetes?

If either the fiancé or fiancée has diabetes, does he or she have to tell the other party about that?.
-
Praise be to Allaah.
Firstly:
There is a difference between one of the parties hearing from people that So and so has diabetes, which will have al ighter impact, and one of the parties telling the other about that directly, or the woman’s guardian telling the fiancé about that. This has a greater impact and is more off-putting, and may lead to an end of the marriage proposal.
Secondly:
The degree of severity of this disease may vary; if it is the regular type that many people suffer, there is no need to tell the fiancé(e) about it. But if it is chronic and serious, then the other party must be told about it.
And Allaah knows best.

General Dought & clear, - * It is not permissible to prostrate to anyone other than Allah, even if it is only by way of veneration and showing respect

Is there a hadith in which it says that a man prostrated before the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) told him not to do that?
-
Praise be to Allah
The Companions of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to honour him and venerate him, and venerate his Sunnah. In the early days of Islam, when some of them saw that the People of the Book prostrated to their bishops and patriarchs, they thought that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was more deserving of that, out of respect for him and veneration of him. But the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade them to prostrate to him.
Ibn Maajah (1853) and al-Bayhaqi (14711) narrated that ‘Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa said: When Mu‘aadh ibn Jabal came from Syria, he prostrated to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), who said, “What is this, O Mu‘aadh?” He said, I went to Syria and saw them prostrating to their archbishops and patriarchs, and I wanted to do that for you. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, “Do not do that. If I were to command anyone to prostrate to anyone other than Allah, I would have commanded women to prostrate to their husbands. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, no woman can fulfil her duty towards Allah until she fulfils her duty towards her husband. If he asks her (for intimacy) even if she is on her camel saddle, she should not refuse.”
This version was narrated by Ibn Maajah, and was classed as saheeh by al-Albaani inSaheeh Ibn Maajah.
Abu Dawood (2140) and al-Haakim (2763) narrated that Qays ibn Sa‘d (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I went to al-Heerah and saw them prostrating to a noble of theirs (i.e., a courageous knight who was prominent among them). I thought: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is more deserving that people should prostrate to him. So I came to the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: I went to al-Heerah and saw them prostrating to a noble of theirs, but you are the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and are more deserving that people should prostrate to you. He said: “Do not do that. If I were to instruct anyone to prostrate to anyone, I would have instructed women to prostrate to their husbands, because of the rights that Allah has given them over them.”
Classed as saheeh by al-Haakim, and adh-Dhahabi agreed with him. Also classed as saheeh by al-Albaani inSaheeh Abi Dawood.
Ibn Hibbaan (4162) narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) entered one of the gardens of the Ansaar, where he saw two restless camels. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) draw close to them and they knelt down and lay their necks on the ground. Those who were with him said: They have prostrated to him. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “It is not appropriate for anyone to prostrate to anyone else. If it were appropriate for anyone to prostrate to anyone else, I would have instructed the wife to prostrate to her husband, because of the great rights that Allah has given him over her.”
Classed as hasan by al-Albaani inIrwa’ al-Ghaleel(7/54)
Thus the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) explained to them that prostration should only be to Allah, and that venerating people and honouring them should not be done by prostrating to them.
Shaykh Ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Prostration is for Allah alone, and the law of Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is the most perfect and most complete of laws, according to which it is not permissible to prostrate to anyone or anything other than Allah, either by way of greeting or by way of worship. As for worship, it cannot be devoted to any except Allah alone, according to all laws and teachings, but in the past prostration was used as a greeting and by way of honouring people, as the parents and brothers of Yoosuf did, and as the angels did to Adam. This was by way of greeting and showing respect, not by way of worship. But according to the law of Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, has forbidden that and has made prostration for Allah alone, may He be glorified and exalted; it is not permissible to prostrate to anyone else, either the Prophets or others, to the extent that Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade anyone to prostrate to him and stated that prostration is for Allah alone, may He be glorified and exalted.
from Fataawa Noor ‘ala ad-Darb(4/112-113)
And Allah knows best.

Da'eef (weak) hadeeths, Dought & clear, - * False Hadeeth With the Title “Would that it had been new... would that it had been far... would that it had been complete”

One of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was on his deathbed, and he spoke three phrases: “Would that it had been new”. He slept briefly then woke up and said “Would that it had been far.” He slept briefly and woke up and said: “Would that it had been complete.” After that his soul departed. The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to ask him about these words. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “One day this man was walking and he had an old garment with him. He came across a poor person who was complaining about the bitter cold, so he gave him the garment. As he was dying, he saw a palace in Paradise, and the Angels of death said to him: ‘This is your palace.’ He said: ‘For which deed of mine is it?’ They said to him: ‘Because one night you gave the garment in charity to a poor person.’ The man said, ‘It was old and worn out. What would it have mattered to us if it had been new? Would that it had been new.’ One day he was going to the mosque, and he saw a paralyzed man who wanted to go to the mosque, so he carried him to the mosque. When he was dying, he saw a palace in Paradise, and the Angels of death said to him: ‘This is your palace.’ He said: ‘For which deed of mine is it?’ They said to him: ‘Because you carried a paralyzed man to pray in the mosque.’ The man said: ‘The mosque was nearby. What would it have mattered to us if it had been far away? Would that it had been far away.’ One day he was walking and he had with him part of a round of bread. He came across a poor person who was hungry, so he gave him a piece of it. When he was dying, he saw a palace in Paradise. The Angels of death said to him: This is your palace. He said: ‘For which of my deeds is it?’ They said to him: ‘Because you gave in charity part of a round of bread to a poor person.’ The man said: ‘It was part of a round. What would it have mattered to us if it had been complete? Would that it had been complete.’
I want to know whether this is a hadeeth (prophetic narration) and whether it is saheeh (authentic), because I cannot reply to these words until I am certain whether it is sound or not. May Allah reward you with the highest Firdaws (Paradise).
-
Praise be to Allaah
The words mentioned in the question are not a hadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and they are not the words of any of the Sahabah (Companions) or Tabi’een (Successors). In fact, in our research we did not find it in any of the books of the scholars, classical or modern, saheeh or da’eef (weak). It is most likely to be one of the fabrications that are in circulation among people. Perhaps some of the later writers fabricated it and attributed it to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and how many such reports there are nowadays, and Allah is the one whose help we seek. Many people have had the audacity to commit this grave and major sin, the sin of fabricating hadeeths and falsely attributing them to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
What every Muslim must do is be aware of these fabricated reports, and strive to warn people against them, and not help to spread them. Rather they must help to erase them from gatherings and chat rooms, and replace them with the many sound hadeeths which encourage giving charity and being kind to the poor and needy.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “It is sufficient lying for a man to speak of everything that he hears.” Narrated by Muslim in the Introduction to his Saheeh.
And Allah knows best.
