*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Even in situations one would think in his own mind that there is no way out, there is always a way out for real believers

One of the mistakes people generally fall in is their descending into
desperation whenever they face even the slightest difficulty. Most
people, under such circumstances, instead of thinking "There is
definitely a way out that would correct this situation", they are
prone to believe that all the solution ways are exhausted by acting
with logics such as: "that's it", "there is nothing more to be
done," "this is as far as it goes", "we came to a deadlock", "this
matter is in a deadlock now".
Yet, no matter how difficult the circumstances are; no matter how
limited the means he has are; and no matter if he has done
everything that could have been done; he should believe that there
can always be a new way out, and never lose hope.
Allah has revealed in the Qur'an that a person who believes in Allah
would never lose hope in any matter as follows:
"My sons! Seek news of Yusuf and his brother. Do not despair of
solace from Allah. No one despairs of solace from Allah except for
people who are unbelievers. '" (Surah Yusuf: 87)
They said, 'We bring you good news of the truth, so do not be among
those who despair .' (Surat Al-Hijr: 55)
Consequently, no matter what the situation a Muslim faces is, he
should never give way to hopelessness, despair or negative thoughts
even indirectly. This is a command of Allah on Muslims.
Lower self, when facing such a situation, -almost like a reflex-
would lead one to instantly think about the most negative
possibilities that might happen. Almost everyone, ever since their
childhood –until they learn the morality of the Qur'an- approach
every incident with such a point of view. Since they do not think
about the falsity and the harm of this, they do not feel the need
to resist and change this reflex. This is the reason why the first
words that come out of their mouths are words like "alas!" and
"unfortunately".
And the pain that desperation, thinking with negative possibilities
and believing that there is no way out, would make people feel is
really severe. The state of mind of people, who feel this way, is
the reward Allah had created for them in this world as a result of
their living by a morality Allah does not approve.
Yet, living by the morality which is opposite to this one is really
easy. A person's knowing Allah Who has infinite wisdom, Who has
infinite justice, Who has infinite compassion and infinite grace,
Who is forgiving and Who possesses infinite creation power is
really a great blessing for him. Allah is mighty of creating
whatever He wills, whenever He wants. And in the Qur'an Allah says:
"If My servants ask you about Me, I am near. I answer the call of the
caller when he calls on Me. They should therefore respond to Me and
believe in Me so that hopefully they will be rightly guided" (Surat
al-Baqara: 186) In the Qur'an Allah had informed us that people can
ask whatever they want from Allah. Since a person could ask for
anything from Allah Who has the power to create whatever He wants,
whenever He wills, it is totally unreal for him to be living among
the possibilities such as: having exhausted all the ways out or
having no way out. That is because –by the will and help of Allah-
a person's way is always open in every matter. His knowing Allah's
might and compassion would always enable him to be hopeful about
every matter.
This morality is the one Allah commanded in the Qur'an. And carrying
out this command of Allah turns into a great blessing for people.
It is much more beautiful, reassuring and comfortable for people
to live by a hopeful morality, instead of pessimism. While, in the
contrary, a person would be continuously living restless, in a state
of fear with his mind occupied in negative suggestions; someone
abiding by the morality Allah demands, would live in peace,
tranquility and joy of expecting the help, mercy and the closeness
of Allah even under most difficult conditions.
And another point that should be thought about here is; while living
among blessings, plenty and safety, a person trusts in Allah and
lives in the awareness of the truth that all those come about
because of the infinite might of Allah; but when there is something
missing about those, he forgets how limitless and endless the might
of Allah is. Allah has informed us about the morality that people
in this situation would show in the Qur'an, as follows:
When We give people a taste of mercy, they rejoice in it, but when
something bad happens to them because of what they themselves have
done, they immediately lose all hope. (Surat Ar-Rum : 36)
Man never tires of praying for the good and if evil touches him, he
despairs and loses hope. (Surat Fussilat : 49)
Such a person cannot appreciate the fact that Allah Who had given
him blessings before, also have the Power to give –again and again
whenever He wants as much as He wills. He fails to think that all
the beauties he has in his life exist not because he himself had
found a way to attain them but because Allah had willed them to be so
and granted him that means through His Grace. Everything that he
possesses has been created from nothing. When difficulty and
troubles arise the situation is no different than that: Allah, Who
created everything from nothing, even if there is a situation in
which there seems to be a no way out, would again create the way
from nothing and would show him the way out.
Allah says in the Quran: "… But your Lord is a sufficient guide and
helper." ( Surat Al-Furqan: 31). The guidance of Allah for a man
is – by the leave of Allah- a great blessing with which he can solve
every matter. And moreover man does not have the power to find a
way out on his own anyway. Humans are weak creatures who have no
power for anything unless Allah wills the contrary. Man is in need
of Allah showing him the ways out, the solutions and rights.
Consequently what one should do is to trust in Allah very much, by
being very sincere towards Allah; to ask full of hope for His help
and to show all the effort that he is capable of showing by using
his mind and conscience in the best possible manner. However the
secret here is in wanting everything from Allah in hope and believing
that they can definitely come true. It is Allah Who creates the
result. And Allah is the One Who always creates the best for
Muslims both in this world and in the Hereafter.
Their sides eschew their beds as they call on their Lord in fear and
ardent hope . And they give of what We have provided for them.
(Surat Al-Sajda:16)
And when the two hosts came into sight of one another Musa's
companions said, 'We will surely be overtaken!'
He said, 'Never! My Lord is with me and He will guide me. '
So We revealed to Musa, 'Strike the sea with your staff.' And it
split in two, each part like a towering cliff.
And We brought the others right up to it.
We rescued Musa and all those who were with him. (Surat Ash-Shu'ara': 62-65)

The Prophet 'Isa (as) will follow the Mahdi and the Mahdi will serve as imam in the prayer (salat) to the Prophet' Isa (as)

Naim Abu Said narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saas) said:
Isa 'Ibn Maryam, will descend, and recite the daily prayer behind
Mahdi. (Al-Burhan fi `Alamat al-Mahdi, p. 78)
In Musannaf of Ibn Abi Shayba, Ibn Shirin narrated. He said:
The Mahdi is one of this community and will serve as imam to the
Prophet 'Isa (as). (Jalaladdin as-Suyuti, Al-Burhan fi Alamat
al-Mahdi Akhir al-Zaman, Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, p. 79)
Naim ibn Hammad narrated from Abdullah ibn Amr. He said:
The Mahdi is the one whom 'Isa ibn Maryam (as) will perform the
daily prayer behind. (Jalaladdin as-Suyuti, Al-Burhan fi Alamat
al-Mahdi Akhir al-Zaman, Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, p. 79)
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of
Allah (saas) observed: "What will be your state when the son of
Maryam descends amongst you and there is an Imam amongst you?"
(Sahih Muslim, Book 001, Number 0290)
Jabir ibn 'Abdullah reported: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (saas)
say: 'One section of my people will not cease fighting for the Truth
and will prevail till the Day of Resurrection. 'Isa son of Maryam
will then descend, and their (the Muslims') commander will invite
him to come and lead them in prayer, but he will say: No, some
amongst you are commanders over others (amongst you). This is an
honor from Allah for this Ummah.'" (Sahih Muslim, Book 001, Number
0293)
While their Imam is going forward to lead the people in the Salat
al-Subh (the morning prayer), 'Isa son of Maryam will descend. The
Imam will step back, to let 'Isa lead the people in prayer, but 'Isa
will place his hand between the man's shoulders and say, "Go
forward and lead the prayer, for the Iqamah was made for you." So
the Imam will lead the people in prayer… (Ibn Majah, Kitab al-Fitan,
Tradition No. 4077, 2: 1363)

Repentance is a blessing that gives relief to the heart

One of the most important characteristics that distinguishes
unbelievers from believers is that believers repent often as an act
of worship. As unbelievers consider themselves faultless and
sinless, they do not feel the need to repent. Believers, on the
other hand, do not want to commit any sins against Allah. However,
by their nature, people can sin temporarily by following their inner
selves. They can be lax in carrying out Allah's commands. But in
the end they regret and turn to Allah and ask for our Lord's
forgiveness.
Allah created people as very weak beings. People indulge in
negligence due to ignorance or unawareness; they can be mistaken
forgetting even the subjects they know best, they can think in a
wrong or mistaken way, take the wrong decisions, or act in an
unsound manner knowingly or unknowingly. This is because people
have a vicious enemy like satan who is trying to drag them into
rebellion and divert them from the true path by giving them
suggestions. The inner self also commands evil all the time. People
can earn the good pleasure of Allah to the extent that they can
protect themselves from these two negative Powers. His Highness
Master Bediuzzaman says, "In these times of distortion and misery
where this world has many captivating attributes, our basic action
point must be to dismiss evil and abandon sins". However no matter
what happens, Allah always guides people to make up for their
mistakes; this guidance is repentance.
It Is a Great Blessing That Our Lord is All-Merciful,
All-Compassionate and Kind and Protective to His Servants
Allah always gives people the opportunity to ask for forgiveness
and repent for their mistakes and sins. A person who sincerely
abandons his mistakes and repents to Allah can hope that Allah will
forgive him. Allah reveals in many verses of the Qur'an that He is
"Forgiving", "Merciful", the "Protector" and "Compassionate".
Allah's names of "At-Tawwab" meaning "The One Who Accepts
Repentance" and "Al-Gaffar" meaning "All-Forgiving" and "Ar-Rahman"
meaning "All-Merciful" manifest on all those who regret and repent.
In one verse Allah heralds His servants by saying, " Tell My
servants that I am the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Merciful." (Surat
al-Hijr, 49).
It is impossible to claim that a person has not made any mistakes
and been faultless and perfect throughout his entire life, because
people are created as beings capable of making mistakes. Our
Almighty Lord is the One Who is All-Forgiving and All-Merciful.
Therefore, believers have to take notice of their mistakes, which
they made knowingly or unknowingly by falling into negligence or
listening to their inner selves. They have to regret their mistakes
and direct themselves to the right path and turn to our Lord as soon
as possible and strive not to make that mistake again. Of course a
person has to be careful not to make mistakes and commit sins and
protect the boundaries of our Lord; but when he makes a mistake in
spite of this, it is a great characteristic of a believer to ask
forgiveness from Allah. Our Lord's names "The One Who Accepts
Repentance" (At-Tawwab), "All-Forgiving" (Al-Gaffar),
"All-Merciful" (Ar-Rahman) manifest on believers who regret their
mistakes, repent and turn to Allah.
Repenting Very Often Is an Important Believer Characteristic
Repenting frequently is a sign of the believer's humility and
awareness of his weakness in the face of Allah. It is a behavior
that pleases Allah. In return for this act of worship, Allah gives
relief to, lifts the burdens on and opens the minds of those who
repent often.
With Repentance Allah Wants People to Learn Lessons and Notice Their Mistakes
One of the wisdoms of repentance is that the believer experiences
real regret and turns to Allah without wasting any time and strives
not to repeat that mistake. Therefore, he repents in a true and
sincere manner. He repents and keeps his word that he will remain
on the right path until the end of his life. In the Qur'an, the
point of view of someone who sincerely repents is described in the
verse, " Allah only accepts the repentance of those who do evil in
ignorance and then quickly make repentance after doing it. Allah
turns towards such people. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise..." (Surat
an-Nisa', 17) In another verse, Allah reveals how a believer should
behave, " Those who, when they act indecently or wrong themselves,
remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their bad actions (and who
can forgive bad actions except Allah?) and do not knowingly persist
in what they were doing." (Surah Al ' Imran Suresi, 135) .
Submitting to Allah right after making mistakes and not delaying
repentance is an important point. This is because as Master
Bediuzzaman describes, "(If mistakes) are not erased with repentance,
they turn into a poisonous snake that bites the heart. Once the
heart is stained it becomes open to further stains. So man falls into
a (corrupt) circle. Every sin brings a new one; not only this but
also it destroys the feelings of repentance and regret (jealousy).
In the end the secret behind the verse "Their hearts have rusted"
(Surat al-Mutaffifin, 14) becomes visible."
Of course, even if a person who experiences true regret carefully
strives not to repeat that mistake or sin, he can still fall into the
same mistake. This situation should not lead to this person losing
his self-confidence. For every person there is an opportunity to
repent and sincerely submit to Allah until death.
However a person should not be mistaken for the time he has been
given. He should not behave in a ways to abuse Allah's mercy,
forgivingness, grace. He should use the time Allah grants him and
find guidance by repentance and asking for forgiveness while there
is still time. This is because faith and repentance at the moment
of death may not be accepted in the sight of Allah. Therefore he
needs to behave like he will die any moment and strive to edify.
It should not be forgotten that a person can make small or big
mistakes throughout his life, but as long as he repents and submits
to Allah Who forgives and accepts repentance and turns evil into
good with a sincere heart, he can hope that his mistakes will be
forgiven. Allah always answers for repentance. Allah forgives his
mistakes and turns them into good and rewards his good deeds with
the best.

Our Prophet (pbuh) Announced the Good News of Jesus' Return

The Good News of the Golden Age
In many of his sayings, our Prophet (may God bless him and grant him
peace) draws attention to a period when Islam's morality will prevail,
when Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and the Mahdi will be on Earth, and the
Qur'an's moral values willprevail: The Golden Age. This period will be
very similar to the time of our Prophet (may God bless him and grant
him peace) and, since he usedthe characteristics of Paradise to depict
this period, it is called the Golden Age.
In the previous sections, we dealt with the suffering and hardship
that people will experience during the first phase of the End Times.
Just after these events, which are also the signs of Prophet Jesus'
(pbuh) coming, theGolden Age will come. This is great news for
everyone, for this period will be characterized by the abundance of
every type of goods and crops; the establishment of security, justice,
peace, and happiness; and the use of advanced technology for
humanity's comfort, ease, joy, and peace. No one will be in need, for
all goods and services will be available to meet their needs. Many
hadiths say that"weapons will be silenced," and thus herald a world
filled withpeace. In the Golden Age,enemy nations will become brothers
and sisters and re-establish peace, friendship, and love among their
leaders and peoples.
Technology will reach its peak, and people will receive its fullest
benefits. Medicine, agriculture, communication, transportation, and
industry will undergo remarkable development, and peoplewill
continuously witnessnew discoveries leading to further advances.
Overall, the pace of discovery will accelerate.
The arts will flourish, andthe broad horizons and deep thinking
granted by faith in God will advance all branches of art. Such a
spirit will enable people to produce glamorous works of music,
theater, and painting. According to one hadith, people will be so
content that they will spend their dayswith no idea as to how time
passes and how oneday turns into the next. They will pray to God to
prolong their lives in order to receive more benefits from these
graces. Another Prophetic hadith states:
… the younger ones wish they were grown-ups, while the adults wish
they were younger… The good become even more good, and the wicked ones
are treated well. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi `Alamat al-Mahdi
Akhir az-Zaman,p. 17)
Our Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) also gives the
following good news:
Unprecedented Abundance in the GoldenAge
There will be at the end of my people a khalifa who will apportion out
wealth, and he will not count it. (Olum-Kiyamet-Ahiret ve Ahirzaman
Alametleri [Death-Doomsday-Hereafter and the Signs of the End Times],
p. 433)
In the End Times there will be a khalifa [successor] who will
distribute wealth without even counting it.(Sahih Muslim)
The land will reveal the treasures within. (Ibn Hajar al-Haythami,
Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntazar, p. 45)
The land will turn like thesilver tray growing vegetation... (Sunan Ibn Majah)
The son of Mary [Jesus (pbuh)] will return and make the Antichrist
ineffective. Then you willlive for 40 years in prosperity. (Al-Muttaqi
al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi `Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 90)
Everywhere food will cook in pots, unseen prosperity will dominate, and
material wealth will be disregarded. (Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Al-Qawl
al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntazar, p. 66)
The reason for Jesus [pbuh] to abandon charity is: There are no needy
poor people in want of charity left. (Sunan Ibn Majah, vol. 10,p. 339)
Even without the plough, the produce of wheat would multiply seven
hundred times, one mudd [a measure of wheat] becoming 700 mudd. (Jalal
ad-Din as-Suyuti)
Then the land will be toldto bring forth its fruit and restore its
blessing and, as a result thereof, there will grow [such a big]
pomegranate that a group of people [between 10 and 40 people] will be
able to eat it and seek shelter under its skin. Milk cows will give so
much milk that a whole party will be able to drink. And the milk given
by camels will be such [a large quantity]milk that the whole tribe
will be able to drink of it.And the sheep will give so much milk that
the whole family will be able to drink of that… (Sahih Muslim)
The High Cost of Living and Poverty Will End
... And wealth will be so abundant that no one will accept it. (Sahih Bukhari)
The Hour will not be established until wealth will be in abudance - so
abundant that a wealthy person will worry lest nobody accept his
Zakat, and whenever he will present it to someone, that person will
say, "I am not in need of it." (Sahih Bukhari)
Then will my Ummah be blessed, the number of animals will increase,
and the land will bear its fruits. (Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Al-Qawl
al-Mukhtasar, p. 26)
Definitely possessions will be in abundance then, flowing like water.
Yet no one will [condescend] to take any(Mukhtasar Tazkirah
al-Qurtubi, p. 464.)
