*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Qur'an & Hadees

"The slave must never rely solely on himself, not even for the blink
of an eye, rather he should not stop seeking help from his Lord and
relying upon Him, asking Him for guidance/ success. Then when he is
granted tawfiq (guidance/ success), he should attribute it to His
Master and not be amazed at himself, due to His saying:"And my success
is not but through Allah. Upon him I have relied, and to Him I
return." [Hud: 88]

Qur'an & Hadees

[14].Surah Ibrahim :
Ayat 33. And He has made the sun and the moon, both constantly pursuing their courses, to be of service to you; and He has made the night and the day, to be of service to you.
Ayat 34. And He gave you of all that you asked for, and if you count the Blessings of Allah, never will you be able to count them. Verily! Man is indeed an extreme wrong-doer, - a disbeliever (an extreme ingrate, denies Allah's Blessings by disbelief, and by worshipping others besides Allah, and by disobeying Allah and His Prophet Muhammad [SAWW](PBUH)

Natural Medicine

- SUGAR CANE JUICE
A friend whose father works for the government health inspection
passed on his info. Their job is to inspect all hawkers, their cooked
food, their store hygiene, etc. They found sugar cane juice has the
highest content of bacteria among all food. In fact, it has exceeded
the set limit.
Hence, these guys had to find out why. They went round all sugar cane
stores and watched the way the hawkers handled their sugar cane, wash
their glasses, their entire procedure.
But they couldn't find the problem.
One day, they stayed till closing time and discovered some shocking
facts! Whenever, the hawkers closed their stores, they would wash the
floor with detergent.
As we know, the remainingsugar canes will be placed at the back of the
store, vertically standing and as sugar canes are very porous, they
tend to absorb whatever liquid around them.
Besides the soapy water, the dirt on hawkers' boots, cats' urine, etc,
will all be absorbed??
Now, whenever I eat at a hawker centre, I would warn all my friends
about this and of course, I stopped drinking my favourite sugar cane
juice.
A friend, who loved sugar cane juice, was pregnant. She was always
drinking sugar cane juice. Anyway, one day she miscarried andthe fetus
was already like 6or 7 months old, I think. When the doctors did an
autopsy to find out why allof a sudden the fetus had died inside her,
they found traces of some chemical substance, which was found in cat
urine... Large traces of it.
While it would not be able to harm adults, it was extremely toxic to
babies, what more a fetus? So theytried to determine how this cat
urine thing could have ended up in the fetus.
This meant that it had to be digested by the mother, right? And the
only logical conclusion they could comeup with was that since these
sugar cane juice stall holders just leave the caneslying around on the
wet and dirty floor, it would not be impossible to think that stray
cats could have peed on those sugar canes or near those sugar canes.
So think carefully the next time you order that favourite sugar cane juice!
Please pass this on to everyone you know. Got this info from Govt. Health Dept.
Let's take action to make this world a better & safer place for ALL of
us & the generations to come/

It was narrated from Sahl ibn Haneef that the Prophet (sallAllahu alyhi wasallam) said:

Goa fruite - use

:-: http://translate.google.com/ :-:

Health benefits of guava fruit
Guavas are low in calories and fats but contain several vital
vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant poly-phenolic and flavonoid
compounds that play pivotal role in prevention of cancers, anti-aging,
immune-booster etc.
The fruit is very rich source of soluble dietary fiber (5.4 g per 100
g of fruit, about 14% of DRA), which makes it a good bulk laxative.
Thefiber content helps protect the colon mucous membrane by decreasing
exposure time to toxins as well as binding to cancer causing chemicals
in the colon.
Fresh guava-fruit is an excellent source of antioxidant vitamin-C;
provides more than three times the DRI (daily-recommen ded intake).
Outer thick rind contains exceptionally higher levels of vitamin C
than central pulp.
Scientific studies shown that regular consumption of fruits rich in
vitamin C helps body develop resistance against infectious agents and
scavenge cancer causing harmful free radicals from the body. Further,
the vitamin is required for collagen synthesis in the body. Collagen
is the main structural protein in the body required for maintaining
the integrity of blood vessels, skin, organs, and bones.
The fruit is very good source of Vitamin-A and flavonoids like
beta-carotene, lycopene, lutein and cryptoxanthin. The compounds are
knownto have antioxidant properties and are essential for optimum
health. Further, vitamin-A is also required for maintaining healthy
mucusmembranes and skin. Consumption of natural fruits rich in
carotene is known to protect from lung and oral cavity cancers.
Studies suggest that lycopene in pink guavas prevents skin damage
fromUV rays and offers protection from prostate cancer.
Fresh fruit is a very rich source of potassium; contains more
potassium than banana per 100 g of fruit weight. Potassium is an
important component of cell and body fluids that helps controlling
heart rateand blood pressure.
It is also a moderate sourceof B-complex vitamins suchas pantothenic
acid, niacin, vitamin-B6 (pyridoxine), vitamin E and K, and minerals
like magnesium, copper, and manganese. Manganese is used by the body
as a co-factor for the antioxidant enzyme, superoxide dismutase.
Copper is required in the production of red blood cells/

Assalamualaikum .
Your Wealth
Alhamdulilah. Indeed, all praise is due to Allaah. We praise Him and
seek His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allaah from our
souls' evil and our wrong doings. He whom Allaah guides, no one can
misguide; and he whom Hemisguides, no one can guide. I bear witness
that there is no (true) God except Allaah – alone without a partner,
and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His 'Abd
(servant) and messenger
Narrated 'Abdullah (may Allaah be pleased with him): The Prophet
(peace be upon him) said, "Who among you considers the wealth of his
heirs dearer to him than his own wealth?"
They replied, "O Allah's Apostle! There is none among us but loves his
own wealth more."
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "So his wealth is whatever he
spends (in Allaah's Cause) during his life (on good deeds) while the
wealth of his heirs is whatever he leaves after his death."[1]
Commentary:
The Prophet (peace be upon him) knows that people are blinded by
theirwealth and how we often make it our goal: Narrated Ibn 'Abbaas
(may Allaah be pleased with him: I heard the Prophet (peace be upon
him) saying, "If the son of Adam (the human being) had two valley of
money, he would wish for a third, for nothing can fill the belly of
Adam's son except dust, and Allah forgives him who repents to Him."[2]
The Prophet (peace be upon him) explained that all the money we make
would never really be ours, until we spend it for the sake of Allaah
(in charity and other good acts). This way, the wealth would benefit
us in this world andthe next.
Allaah, the Most High, says,"O you who believe! Spend of the good
things which you have (legally) earned, and of that which We have
produced from the earth for you, and do not aim at that which is bad
to spend from it, (though) you would not accept it save if you close
your eyes and tolerate therein. And know that Allâh is Rich (Free of
allwants), and Worthy of all praise."[3]
Narrated Aboo Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him): The Prophet
(peace be upon him) said,"Every day two angels come down from Heaven
and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in
YourCause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every
miser.'"[4]
However, if you keep the money and do not spend it(on good), you will
in reality loose your wealth, because once you die, your family will
take it and you will be left with nothing, because wealth of this
Dunya has no value in the hereafter.
Allaah, the Most High, says,"By no means shall you attain Al-Birr
(piety, righteousness, etc., it means here Allâh's Reward,i.e.
Paradise), unless you spend (in Allâh's Cause) of that which you love;
and whatever of good you spend, Allâh knows it well."[5]
Imam Anwar al - Awlakee narrates a story, in his 'The Hereafter'
series, (Part 3):"There is a story of a Tab'ieen[6] asked his student,
"You have been with me for over 30 years, what have you learnt",
The student replied, "I havelearnt 8 things, and amongthat is I
understand that everyone has loved ones and things in this Dunya. Some
of them we will leave it home, some we will leave it in this Dunya,
and some will take it to thegrave, but in the grave youare alone. The
only thing you will have with you is your good deeds; that's why I am
making my gooddeeds the most beloved thing to me."

[I bear witness that none isworthy of Worship but Allah, the One

With the care of Allahu'

"… I pondered over those whom Allah `azza wa jall has chosen for His
governance and those whom He has drawn close to Him. We have indeed
heard of their description and seen those whom we deem to be from
amongst them.
Thus I found that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala does not choose except
someone who is complete in his form without any fault in his way and
no shortcomings therein. So you see him possessing a good countenance,
is of proportionate posture, freefrom defects in his body, complete in
his inner self , generous , charitable , and intelligent . He is not
an imposter nor is he someone who deceives and betrays . He does not
possess hatred or envy and there aren't in him anyof these internal
flaws .
This is someone who (Allah) has raised from his infancy . So you'll
see him in childhood retreating from the other children as if he were
a shaykh (scholar) amongst them. Heis far removed from all ills and
vices, and he fears shortcomings. The tree of his high aspirations
continues to grow until he sees its fruits hanging overthe branches of
other youth. For he is passionate in (seeking) knowledge , preoccupied
with deeds , guarding and looking after his time , hastening to
seekout fadha'il (virtue) and in constant fear of falling short .
And if you only could see how the Guidance of Allah and Divine
Inspiration havesurrounded him, you would see how Allah takes him by
the hand when he trips , and prevents him from error when his soul
calls him to it, and He utilises him in all that's good and conceals
his deeds from him such that he does not even see any good from
himself ."

Aung San Suu Kyi calls victory a "triumph of the people"
2 April 2012 , By DPA
A Myanmar newspaper hawker sells newspapers after landmark
by-elections in Yangon, Myanmar on Monday.
Myanmar democracy campaigner Aung San Suu Kyi on Monday called her
party's landslide victory in weekend by-elections a "triumph of the
people." "We hope this will be the beginning of a new era of
involvement by the people in the politics of this country," Ms. Suu
Kyi told a crowd of well-wishers gathered outside the Yangon
headquarters of her party, the National League for Democracy (NLD).
The NLD said that according to the vote counts so far, it had won 43
of the 45 seats contested in Sunday's by-elections in formerly
military-run Myanmar. Theparty ran candidates in 44 races, and it was
likely it would win all 44 once the final tallies were made.
The crowds greeting Ms. Suu Kyi chanted, "Mother Suu! Mother Suu!" and
"Good health! Good health!" Ms. Suu Kyi, 66, suffered bouts of
exhaustion during the campaign.
She contested in the Kawhmu township, 30 kilometres south of Yangon,
where she won 90 per cent of the votes, according to the NLD/

A News

A Masjid goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and
complained that it made no sense to go to masjid every Friday.
"I've gone for 30 years now," he wrote, "and in that time I have heard
something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can't remember
a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the Imaams
are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all."
This started a real controversy in the 'Letters to the Editor' column,
muchto the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until someone
wrote this clincher:
"I've been married for 37 years now. In that time mywife has cooked
some 32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire
menu for a single one of those meals, But I do know this… They all
nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my
wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today.
Likewise, if I had not gone to masjid for nourishment, I would be
spiritually dead today!'
SubhanAllahu Ta'ala who says in His Glorious Book:
•►"O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when
he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah
intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be
gathered." [Surah AlAnfal, 8:26]

Alcoholism is the term i should use as a health hazard that would
would be more appropriate. whatever people who are addicted to alcohol
should know what Health risk Alcoholism cause to their Body.
Alcohol - The risks (courtesy : BBC.co.uk)
Low risk :
Drinking small amounts of alcohol can be a pleasant social activity
for many people. Indeed drinking small quantities of alcohol can
reduce the risk of heartdisease for older people if it does not
conflict with any medication being taken.
The following information is based on units of alcohol. One unit of
alcohol contains about 10g of alcohol and is roughly equivalent to:
1 bottle (250ml) of ordinary strength beer (4 - 5 % alcohol)
1 glass (100ml) of wine
1 small glass of vodka (25mg of vodka)
But beware: Drinks often contain two or more units in a single glass!
If you drink up to two unitsa day of alcohol free from impurities
there is little chance of any risk to your health.
If you regularly drink more than two units a day there is an
increasing risk to yourhealth.
If you drink more than fourunits in any one day there is an increased
risk of injury and accidents as wellas an increasing risk to your
health.
High risk:
As the amount we drink and the number of times we drink increases,
then so do the risks.
The risks to you:
Raised blood pressure which increases the risk of Stroke; stomach
disorders; depression and emotional disorders; cancers, particularly
of the mouth, throat and gullet; hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver;
malnutrition; accidents, at home, at work and on the roads; suicide.
The risks to your family:
Violence, accidents (perhaps influenced by you); less to spend on
food;poor role model for children; increased risk of divorce. If you
are pregnant you can harm your baby by drinking alcohol....

Observances
Mawlid is celebrated in most Muslim countries, andin other countries
where Muslims have a
presence, such as India, Britain, Russia[16] and Canada.[17][18]
[19][20][21][22 ][23][24][25] Saudi Arabia is the only Muslim country
where Mawlid is not an official public holiday.[26] Participation in
the ritual celebration of popular Islamic holidays is seen as an
expression of the Islamic revival.[27]
Where Mawlid is celebratedin a carnival manner, large street
processions are held and homes or mosques aredecorated. Charity and
foodis distributed, and stories about the life of Muhammad are
narrated with recitation of poetry bychildren.[28][2 9][30] Scholars
and poets celebrate by reciting Qaṣīdaal-Burda Sharif, the famouspoem
by 13th century Arabic Sufi Busiri.
During Pakistan's Mawlid celebration, the national flag is hoisted on
all public buildings, and a 31-gun salute in Islamabad and a 21-gun
salute at the provincial headquarters arefired at dawn. The cinemas
shows religious rather thansecular films on 11th and 12th
Rabi-ul-Awwal.H undreds of thousands of people gather at
Minar-e-Pakista n Lahore betweenthe intervening night of 11th and 12th
Rabi' al-awwal for Mawlid celebrations , this is the worlds biggest
gathering for Mawlid celebrations.[3 1]
Among non-Muslim countries, India is noted forits Mawlid
festivities.[32 ][33][34] The relics of Muhammad are displayed after
the morning prayers in the Indian states of Jammu and Kashmir at the
Hazratbal Shrine, on the outskirts of Srinagar. Shab-khawani
night-long prayers held at the Hazratbal Shrine are attended by
thousands.[35]
Other non-Muslim countries noted for its Mawlid festivities are Kenya
and Tanzania where it is known as "Maulidi". In Kenya, the most famous
place is the coastal island of Lamu[36][37][38 ] and Malindi. In
Tanzania the largest celebrations are on the island of Zanzibar.[39][4
0]
In many parts of Indonesia, the celebration of the Mawlid al-nabi
"seems to surpass in importance, liveliness, and splendour" the two
official Islamic holidays of Eid ul-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.[41] The
Indonesian Javanese week-long Sekaten ceremony commemmorates Mawlid in
the Sultanate of Yogyakarta.

if all the people together affirmed their faith, it would not be of
any avail to one who did not believe previously and derived no good

Islam says?

On the authority of Abu Dharr Al-Ghifari (Radhiallahu anhu) from the
Prophet (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam), is that among the sayings he
relates from his Rubb is that He said:◄
►"O My slaves, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it
forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another.
►O My slaves, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so
seek guidance of Me and I shall guide you.
►O My slaves, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so
seek food of Me and I shall feed you.
►O My slaves, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so
seek clothing of Me and I shall clothe you.
►O My slaves, you commit sin by night and by day, and I forgive all
sins, so seek forgiveness of Me and I shall forgive you.
►O My slaves, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm Me, and you
will not attain benefiting Me so as to benefit Me.
►O my slaves, were the firstof you and the last of you, the human of
you and the jinn of you to become as pious as the most pious heart of
any one man of you, that would not increase My kingdom in anything.
►O My slaves, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of
you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of
any one man of you, that would not decrease My kingdom in anything.
►O My slaves, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of
you and the jinn of you to rise up in oneplace and make a request of
Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not
decrease what I have, any more than a needle decreases the sea if put
into it.
►O My slaves, it is but your deeds that I reckon up for you and then
recompense you for, so let him who finds good praise Allah, andlet him
who finds other than that blame no one but himself."
►►It was related by Muslim.◄◄

A Dua'

"O Allah, help me to say words of truth in the face of the mighty….
And to refrain from speaking ill in order to gainthe applause of the weak…
And do not let me accuse my adversaries of treachery because their
opinions oppose mine…
O Allah, should you give me wealth, do not take away my happiness…
And should you give me might, do not take away my wisdom….
And should you give me success do not take away my humility…
And should you give me modesty do not take away my sense of dignity…
O Allah, teach me to love others as I love myself…
And teach me to judge myself as I judge others…
And teach me that forgiveness is one of the greatest step towards strength…
O Allah, do not curse me with arrogance should I be successful…
And neither with despair and hopelessness should I fail…
O Allah, remind me always that failure is the trial that precedes success….
Should you take away my wealth, do let me keep my hopefulness…
And should I fail, do let me keep the power of determination…
And should you take away the blessing of good healthdo let me keep the
blessingof faith…
O Allah, should I have harmed others give me thecourage to apologise…
And should others harm me, do bless me with the courage to forgive…
And should I forget You Ya Allah? I beg that You should not exclude me
from Your compassion and clemency. For You are the Greatest, the
Vanquisher, and the All Powerful over all things… Aameen."

A singer said

A very famous Arab singer has pronounced his retirement from singing
and wrote on Twitter: "Thisis my advice for the youth: Never dream to
be like singers (celebrities) because their hearts are filled with
hurt and worries, they are faking happiness in front of the world but
they are sad inside.. and that's because they have turned away from
Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala)." (VIA Ultimate Muslim Works)
ALLAHU AKBAR! There have been many professional singers who have
accepted Islam and given up music. One of them wrote in his biography
that after accepting Islam, his love for music has been replaced by
the love for thewords of Allah!
Why do we need music when we have a treasure whose wonders are never
ending for common Muslims like us and scholars alike…nobody is ever
satisfied of it…the more we listen and read a particular chapter of
the Quran the more we like it and stronger we get in our faith.
Allah Ta'ala says,
"Allah has sent down the best statement: a consistent Book wherein is
reiteration. The skins shivertherefrom, of those who fear their Lord;
then their skins and their hearts relax at the remembrance (i.e.,
mention) of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides
whom He wills. And one whom Allah leaves astray; for him thereis no
guide." ♥ (Al Qur'an, 39:23)

Al Quran

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيم
O our Lord, do not hold us responsible if we forget or make a mistake.
O our Lord, do not lay on us a burden such as You laid on those before
us. O our Lord,do not impose upon us that which we have not the
strength (to bear). Pardon us, and forgive us, and have mercy on us.
You are our Lord-master, so help us against the unbelieving people.
(Al BAQARAH: 286)

A hint

Most of us are concerned with our bellies and the souls of others;
when we should be concerned with our own souls, and the bellies of
others. The first thing the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said when he
arrived in Madinah was, "Spread peace, and feed the people."
Instead of judging others, care for them. Feed them, help them, and
spread peace. That is your representation as a Muslim, your da'wah, and
your salvation of the world. In the process, you save your own soul/

Ibn Umar radhiAllah ta'ala 'anhu reported that the Prophet salAllahu
'alayhi wasallam said:
"Whoever buys a garment with ten dirhams in which even only one dirham
is earned unlawfully will not have his prayer accepted by Allah, the
Almighty, as long as the garment lasts upon his body."
