Sometimes they say, "Salaat al-'Eid athaabakum Allaah (Eid prayer, may
Allaah reward you)" before the prayer. What should onedo if they
persist in doing these things? Should he pray at home?May Allaah
reward you.
Praise be to Allaah.
Firstly:
The fuqaha' are unanimously agreed that it is not prescribed to give
the adhaan or iqaamah before Eid prayer.
In Saheeh Muslim (886) itsays that Ibn Jurayj said: 'Ata' told me that
that Ibn 'Abbaas and Jaabir ibn 'Abd-Allaah al-Ansaari said: There was
no adhaan on the day of al-Fitr or al-Adha.
Ibn Jurayj said: I asked him [i.e., 'Ata'] about that later on and he
said:Jaabir ibn 'Abd-Allaah al-Ansaari told me that there was no call
to prayer on the day of al-Fitr, either before the imam came out or
afterwards, and there was no adhaan or call oranything; no call to
prayer and no iqaamah.
They differed concerning calling people to prayer with other words,
such as saying "Al-Salaatu jaami'ah (prayer is about to begin)" or
"Salaat al-'Eid athaabakum Allaah (Eid prayer may Allaah have mercy on
you)" and so on. There are two opinions:
1 –
That it is not allowed. They said: They should not give any call, and
they should not say "Al-Salaatu jaami'ah" or anything else. This is
oneof the two views in the Maaliki and Hanbali madhhab.
Ibn Qudaamah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
It was narrated that 'Ata'said: Jaabir told me that there is no adhaan
on the day of al-Fitr until the imam comes out, and (no adhaan) after
the imam has come out, and no iqaamah, and no call, and nothing. There
was no call on that day and no iqaamah. Narrated by Muslim.
Some of our companionssaid: It may be called outfor it "Al-Salaatu
jaami'ah". This is the view of al-Shaafa'i. But the Sunnah of the
Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is
more deserving of beingfollowed. End quote.
Al-Mughni (2/117).
Al-Hattaab al-Maaliki (may Allaah have mercy on him)said:
And it should not be called out "Al-Salaatu jaami'ah". Ibn Naaji said
in his commentary on the essay that we received from our Shaykh:
Phrases such as this are an innovation (bid'ah) because they are not
narrated (from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon
him)). End quote.
Shaykh Yoosuf ibn 'Umarsaid: There is nothing wrong with saying
"Al-Salaatu jaami'ah" even if it is an innovation.
In al-Tawdeeh, al-Shaamil and al-Jazooliit says that it may be called
out "Al-Salaatu jaami'ah". End quote.
Mawaahib al-Jaleel Sharh Mukhtasar Khaleel(2/191).
Ibn 'Aleesh al-Maaliki (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
The call should not be made by saying things like "Al-Salaatu
jaami'ah" because it is makrooh, or it is contrary to what is
moreappropriate, because no report was narrated concerning that. It is
clearly stated that it is makrooh in al-Tawdeeh, al-Shaamil and
al-Jazooli.
Ibn Naaji, Ibn 'Umar and others clearly stated thatit is an innovation (bid'ah).
What al-Kharashi said about it being permissible is not correct, and
what he quoted of ahaadeeth concerning that is to be rejected, because
it was not narrated concerningEid; rather it was narrated concerning
the eclipse prayer, as it says in al-Tawdeeh, al-Mawaaq and other
books, quoting from al-Ikmaal.
Drawing an analogy between the Eid prayer and the eclipse prayer is
invalid because Eid is repeated and well known, whereas the eclipse
prayer is done rarely.
Yes, at the beginning of the chapter on the adhaan in al-Mawaaq it is
narrated that 'Ayaad liked the idea that for every prayer for which
there is no adhaan it may be said "Al-Salaatu jaami'ah", but the
author did not comment on that. End quote.
Minah al-Jaleel Sharh Mukhtasar Khaleel (1/460)
In Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa'imah it says:
When the imam stands up to offer the Eid prayer, he should start with
takbeerat al-ihraam, and he shouldnot say to the people beforehand "al
Al-Salaatu jaami'ah" or "salaat al-'eid" or any other phrase, because
there is no report which indicates that. Rather the words "Al-Salaatu
jaami'ah" are to be called out in the case of the eclipse prayer,
whether for a solar or lunar eclipse. End quote.
(8/314).
Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
Some of the scholars said: This is our view, that it may be called out
for istisqa' (prayers for rain) and for Eid prayer, "Al-Salaatu
jaami'ah". But this view is not correct, and it is not valid to make
an analogy with the eclipse prayer for two reasons:
(i) That eclipses happen suddenly, especially in
earlier times when people would be unaware of them until they
happened.
(ii) The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon
him) did not give a call for prayers for rain or Eid prayers. In every
case where there could have been a reason for doing something at the
time ofthe Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and he
did not do it, doing it is an innovation, because there was nothing to
prevent the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) from
giving call. If a call may be given for this prayer, he would have
ordered the caller to give the call for it.
So the correct view is that there is no call for the Eid prayers and
prayers for rain. End quote.
Al-Sharh al-Mumti' (5/199).
This is the view favouredby Shaykh al-Sa'di (may Allaah have mercy on
him) as it says in al-Mukhtaaraat al-Jaliyyah (p. 53).
This view was previouslychosen, and was supported by comments from the
scholars in the answer to question no. 48972 .
2 –
That it is prescribed to call for them by saying "Al-Salaatu jaami'ah"
or "Al-salaah, yarhamukum Allaah (The prayer, may Allaah have mercy on
you)" and other words which signal that the prayer is about to begin.
This is the view of the Hanafis as it says in al-'Inaayah Sharh
al-Hidaayah (1/242), andit is the view of the Shaafa'is, and the
correct view according to the Hanbalis and the Zaahiri madhhab, as it
says in al-Muhalla (2/178).
Al-Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
Al-Shaafa'i and his companions said: It is mustahabb to say
"Al-Salaatu jaami'ah" because of what we have mentioned about the
analogy with the eclipse prayer. Al-Shaafa'i said in al-Umm: I prefer
for the imam to tell the muezzinto say on Eids and other occasions
when people gather to pray: "Al-Salaatu jaami'ah" or "al-salaah", If
he says "halumm ila al-salaah (come to prayer)" we do not regard that
as makrooh, and if he says "hayya 'ala al-salaah (come to prayer – the
phrase used in the adhaan)" there is nothing wrong with it, although I
would prefer to avoid that because these are the words of the adhaan,
and I prefer to avoid all the words of the adhaan. End quote.
Al-Majmoo' (5/20).
Al-Bahooti al-Hanbali (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
It should be called out for Eid or the eclipse prayer or prayer for
rain: "Al-Salaatu jaami'ah" or "al-salaah".
It says in al-Furoo': It should be called out for the eclipse prayer
because that is in al-Saheehayn, and for prayers for rain, and for Eid
prayer, "al-salaatu jaami'ah" or "al-salaah." And it was said that it
should not be called out.And it was said that it should not be called
out for Eid prayer, as is also the case of the funeral prayer and
Taraweeh according to the more sound opinion concerning them. Ibn
'Abbaas and Jaabir said: "No adhaan was given on the day of al-Fitr
when the imam came out, or after he came out, and no iqaamah, and no
call, and nothing." Agreed upon. End quote.
Kashshaaf al-Qinaa' (1/233). See also al-Insaaf (1/428). It says in
(2/459): This is our view and that of most of our companions.
The more correct view, as stated above, is the first one, which is
that no call should be given for the Eid prayer at all. But if that
happens, there is no sin on the one who is present, because this is an
opinion that carries weight among some fuqaha'. Such matters should
not be a cause of division or splitting among the worshippers,
especially nowadays. Rather if it is possible to advise the people in
charge in a gentle and goodly manner to do that which is proven in the
Sunnah, all well and good, otherwise he may attend the prayer with
them and there is no blame on him in sha Allaah. But we should point
out that the one who wants to teach others the Sunnah concerning that
or to tellthem what is correct, should do so before the people gather
for prayer. But once the people have gathered, itis difficult at that
point to offer advice calmly and in a useful manner, and there is no
guarantee that it will not lead to provoking enmity and division, or
things that are even worse than that.
We ask Allaah to help us and you to do and say that which He loves and
with which He is pleased, and to help us and you to avoid fitan
(trouble, tribulation), both outward and inward.
And Allaah knows best.

-
Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Dought - clear - Is it prescribed not to do the prostration of forgetfulness in Jumu‘ahand Eid prayer?.
Dear brother i came to know from my father that prostration of
forgetfulness should not b done during friday salah and eid, how far
is it true i was going on searching it on ur website but i couldnt
find it please provide meif any evidence.
Praise be to Allah.
Firstly:
We have previously discussed the ruling on Eid prayer in the answers
to questions no. 48983 and 49014 .
In the answer to question no. 45456 we stated that it is prescribed to
do the prostration of forgetfulness (sujood as-sahw) in naafil prayers
just as it is prescribed in obligatory prayers; it is exactly the
same. This is the view of the majority of scholars.
That is because the basicprinciple is that it is prescribed to do the
prostration of forgetfulness in prayer when there is the reasonfor
doing it, and the Lawgiver made no differentiation between obligatory
and naafil prayers in that regard.
Shaykh Ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
The prostration of forgetfulness is prescribed in all prayers, both
naafil and obligatory, because of the general meaning of the hadeeths.
End quote from Majmoo'Fataawa Ibn Baaz, 30;13.
There is no disagreement that Jumu'ah prayer is obligatory, so the
requirement to compensate for mistakesby doing the prostrationof
forgetfulness in this prayer is more certain.
With regard to Eid prayer, whether we say it is obligatory or naafil,
it is like all other prayers; if a person makes a mistake he should
compensate for itby doing the prostrationof forgetfulness.
We have not found any one among the scholars, either the imams of the
four madhhabs or other leading fuqaha', who differentiate between the
prayers and Jumu'ahand Eid prayer, with regard to the prostration of
forgetfulness.
However, the well-known view amongst the later Hanafis is that it is
betternot to do the prostrationof forgetfulness in Jumu'ah and Eid
prayer if a large number of people are present, lest that confuse the
worshippers, although in principle they also do not differentiate in
the ruling on prostration of forgetfulness between obligatory and
naafil prayers; rather they thought it was better not to do it with a
large congregation for the reasons mentioned.
Burhaani ad-Deen al-Bukhaari al-Hanafi said in al-Muheet, 2/229:
It says in al-Asl: Making mistakes (or forgetting) in the Eid prayer,
Jumu'ah, obligatory and voluntary prayers is the same, because Jumu'ah
and Eid prayers are the same as other prayers with regard to what
mayspoil them, and they are the same with regard to what is required
as compensation, except that our shaykhs said: They should not do the
prostration of forgetfulness in Jumu'ahand Eid prayers, lest that
cause people to fall into confusion. End quote.
Abu Bakr al-Haddaadi said in al-Jawharah an-Nayyirah, 1/95:
Prostration of forgetfulness in Jumu'ah, Eid and obligatory prayers is
all the same; what is meant is that one should do theprostration of
forgetfulness in all prayers (if required). Butsome of the shaykhs
saidthat the imam should not do the prostration offorgetfulness in
Jumu'ahor Eid prayer lest he cause confusion to thosewho are far away
from the imam. End quote.
Ibn 'Aabideen said in al-Haashiyah, 2/157:
The favoured view among the later scholarsis that he should not do the
prostration of forgetfulness in Jumu'ahand Eid prayer, lest the
ignorant think that something has been added. This is what it says in
as-Siraaj and elsewhere. But that doesnot mean that it is not
permissible; rather it is better not to do it so that the people will
not become confused. End quote.
It is clear from the wordsof Ibn 'Aabideen and others that this
opinion is only well-known among the later Hanafis. As for the imams
of the madhhabs and the earlier scholars, this is not known from them;
rather what is well known from them is the opposite, as is clear
fromthe above. Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ash-Shaybaani, the companion of
Imam Abu Haneefah, the propagator of his madhhab and the faqeeh of
Iraq, said that the prostration of forgetfulness should be done (if
required) in the Eid prayer, Jumu ah and all other prayers.
Abu Sulaymaan al-Jawzjaani said: I said –i.e., to Muhammad ibn
al-Hasan – Do you think that the prostration of forgetfulness is the
samein the Eid prayer, Jumu'ah, and in the obligatory and
voluntaryprayers? He said: Yes.
Al-Mabsoot, 1/383
This is the correct view, which is in accordance with the opinion of
the majority of scholars. What was quoted above from the later Hanafis
is an opinion and juristic preference, but it is an opinion that is
superseded.
The correct view is what is stated above, that the prostration of
forgetfulness is prescribed in all prayers, whether obligatory or
naafil, if the reason for doing it is present. Thereis no
differentiation between Eid prayer, Jumu'ah prayer, or any other
prayer, whether obligatory or naafil.
And Allah knows best.

Dought - clear - A mistake in the direction of the qiblah .
One of my neighbours told me that the qiblah towards which I was
praying was wrong and was not in accordance with the qiblah of the
neighbouring mosque. Based on this, I changed the direction for a few
months, including last Ramadaan. Then I found out that the first
qiblah had been correct. What is the ruling on prayers that I did
facing the incorrect qiblah? I hope you can answer me because I am
confused. Thank you very much.
Praise be to Allaah.
Facing the qiblah is one of the conditions of prayer being valid.
Everyworshipper has to make sure he faces the qiblah in his prayer,
and strive to make sure he is facingin the right direction, whether by
means of natural signs or using a compass, if he is able to do that,
or by asking trustworthy people in that place who know in which
direction the qiblah is.
It seems most likely in the case that you describe that the deviation
from the qiblah was very slight. This slight deviation is something
that can happen when a person who lives in that area is a little
confused and people do not pay attention to this slight difference in
direction. Ifthat is the case, i.e., if the deviation from the qiblah
was slight, then itdoes not matter and it does not invalidate the
prayer, because those who are far away from the Ka'bah have to face in
its general direction; they do not have to face precisely in that
direction, because al-Tirmidhi (342) and IbnMaajah (1011) narrated
that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The
Messengerof Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
"Whatever is between the east and the west is the qiblah." Classed as
saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Irwa'.
Al-San'aani (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Subul al-Salaam
(1/260). This hadeeth indicates that what is required is to face in
that direction, and not towards the precise location of the Ka'bah
when one cannot see it.
Further evidence to this effect is to be seen in thereport narrated by
al-Bukhaari (144) and Muslim (264) from Abu Ayyoob (may Allaah be
pleased with him) who said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of
Allaah be upon him) said: "If you need to relieve yourself, then do
not face the qiblah or turn your back towards it, whether you are
urinating or defecating, rather face to the east orto the west."
Shaykh al-Islam (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Sharh
al-'Umdah: This is statingthat facing any directionother than the east
or the west means that oneis either facing the qiblah or turning one's
back towards it. This wasaddressed to the people of Madeenah and
everyone who was in the same direction (in relation to Makkah),
because this was the consensus of the Sahaabah (may Allaah bepleased
with them). 'Umar said: Whatever is between the east and the west is
the qiblah except at the House. Andit was narrated that 'Uthmaan (may
Allaah bepleased with him) said: How can a man make a mistake in his
prayer when whatever is between the east and the west is the qiblah,
solong he does not turn towards the east deliberately.
Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: Thus we
know that the matter is broad in scope. So if we see a person praying
in a direction that is slightly off from the qiblah, that does not
matter, because he is facing in its general direction, and this is
what he is obliged to do.
Al-Sharh al-Mumti', 2/273
But if the deviation fromthe direction of the qiblah was very great,
sothat you were not praying in the direction of the qiblah at all,
such as if you were praying towards the east when the qiblah is
towards thewest or the north, for example, so long as you based your
action on thewords of someone who you know attaches greatimportance to
the prayer and you thought that they knew better about the direction
of the qiblah, then you do not have to do anything, and the prayers
which you offered are still valid, even if you faced the wrong
direction when you prayed, because if a person tries his best to get
it right, he has done what is required of him, as Allaah says
(interpretation of the meaning):
"So keep your duty to Allaah and fear Him as much as you can"
[al-Taghaabun 64:16]
It says in Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa'imah (6/314): If a worshipper does
his best to figure out the direction of the qiblah and prays, then he
finds out that he was mistaken, his prayer is still valid.
In Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn Baaz (may Allaah have mercy on him) (10/421)
it says: If a believer does his best to figure out the direction of
the qiblah, when he isin the desert or is in a city in which he is not
sure where the qiblah is,and he prays on that basis, then he finds out
that he prayed in a direction other than the qiblah, then he should
continue to pray according to his latest estimate, if he believes that
it is more correct than his first estimate. His first prayer is still
valid because he did his best to work out the qiblah.

Quran: Clear Truth - THE PROPORTION OF RAIN
One of the items of information given in the Quran about rain is that
it is sent down to Earth in due measure. This is mentioned in Surah
Zukhruf as follows;
"It is He who sends down water in due measure from the sky by which We
bring a dead land back to life. That is how you too will be raised
(from the dead)." (The Quran, 43:11)
This measured quantity in rain has again been discovered by modern
research. It is estimated that in one second, approximately 16 million
tons of water evaporates from the Earth. This figure amounts to 513
trillion tons of water in one year. This number is equal to the amount
of rain that falls on the Earth in a year. This means that water
continuously circulates in abalanced cycle, in a "measure". Life on
Earth depends on this water cycle. Even if people used all the
available technology in theworld, they would not be able to reproduce
this cycle artificially.
Even a minor deviation in this equilibrium would very soon give rise
to a major ecological imbalance that would bring about the end of life
on Earth. Yet, this never happens, and rain keeps falling every year
in exactly the same quantity just as revealed in the Quran.
Every year, the amount of water that evaporates and that falls back to
the Earth in the form of rain is "constant": 513 trillion tons. This
constant amount is declared in the Quran by the expression "sending
down water in due measure from the sky". The constancy of this
quantity is very important for the continuity of the ecological
balance, and therefore, life.

Quran: Clear Truth - QURAN ON SEA WAVES
With regard to the many statements in the Quran concerning the sea,
some of these facts were not discovered until very recently, and many
of them are still unknown. For example, these facts were discovered
after hundreds of marine stations had been set up, and after images
had been taken by satellites. The one who said this was Professor
Schroeder, oneof the greatest oceanographers in West Germany. He used
to say that if science advanced, religion would have to retreat. But
when he heard the translation of the verses of the Quran, he was
stunned and said, "These could not be the words of a human being." And
Professor Dorjaro, a professor of oceanography, told us of the latest
developments on science, when he heard the verse:
"Or (the state of a disbeliever) is like the darkness in a vast deep
sea, overwhelmed with waves topped by waves, topped by dark clouds,
(layers of) darkness upon darkness: if a man stretches out his hand,
he can hardly see it! And he for whom Allah has not appointed light,
for him there is no light"(The Quran, 24:40 interpretation of the
meaning)
He said, "In the past, man could not dive to a depth of more than
twenty meters because he had no special equipment. But now we can dive
to the bottom of the ocean, using modern equipment, and we find
intense darkness at adepth of two hundred meters." The verse says a
vast deep sea. The discoveries in the depths of the sea give us an
understanding of the verse, (layers of) darkness upon darkness. It is
known that there are seven colours in the spectrum, including red,
yellow, blue, green, orange, etc. When we dive down into the depths of
the ocean, these colours disappear one after another, and the
disappearance of each colour results in more darkness. Red disappears
first, then orange, then yellow the last colour to disappear is blue,
at a depth of two hundred meters. Each colourthat disappears adds to
the darkness until it reaches total darkness. With regard to the
phrase waves topped by waves, ithas been proven scientifically that
there is a separation between the upper and lower parts of the ocean,
and that this separation is filled with waves, asif there are waves on
the edge of the dark, lower portion of the sea, which we do not see,
and there are waves on the shores of the sea, which we do see. So it
is as if there are waves above waves. This is a confirmed scientific
fact, hence Professor Dorjaro said concerning these Quranic verses,
that this cannot be human knowledge.

Darwinism is the main source of racism
A huge wave of propaganda has recentlybeen initiated in variousTurkish
and international Darwinist publications. Some of the headlines that
have appeared in these publications are: "Hatredof slavery drove
Darwin ideas, book says" and"Darwin: shaped by slavery", "Darwin's
Anti-Slavery Views May Have Guided His Theory of Evolution."
These suggestions, which might at first sight appear capable of
misleading someone unaware of the true faceof Darwinism, its sinister
logic and the scourges and oppression it has inflicted on the world,
are in fact a brand new initiative from Darwinists, who have foryears
been misleading humanity with the worstmass deception in history.
Seeing that Darwinism religion has been brought to the ground,
Darwinists have sought a solution in portraying Darwinism asan
innocent ideology opposed to racism.
BUT THIS IS A HUGE FRAUD AND A TERRIBLE LIE.
The truth of the matter isthis:
Exactly contrary to this propaganda, Darwin's false claim of common
origins FORMED THE MAIN BASIS FOR RACISM , and became THE SOURCE OF
INSPIRATION FOR FASCISTS, who used racism as a supposed justification
for massacres. Darwinism maintained that human beings were evolved
from primitive life forms, and even claimed that some races had
progressed further than others in the course of that fictitious
evolution, thus providing a scientific mask for racism. To put it
another way, Darwin wanted society to regard human beings as a species
of animal and to believe in the existence of supposed "superior races"
and "inferior races" within that species on the basis of false science
and a false philosophy. What the Nazis and all other fascists did was
simply toput Darwin's theory into practice.
THEREFORE DARWIN ;
IS THE WORST FASCIST THERE HAS EVER BEEN,
AND THE WORST RACIST HISTORY HAS EVER WITNESSED.
HE SPREAD SOCIAL FASCISM AND COMMUNISM ACROSS THE WHOLE WORLD.
HE LED THE WAY FOR THE NAZIS THROUGH RACIST FASCISM . HE EDUCATED THEM
THEORETICALLY AND BECAME THEIR LEADER.
This is not an accusation or insult, it is a PHILOSOPHYCAL, TECHNICAL FACT.
And in particular, Darwin ,
WAS AN ENEMY OF THE TURKS AND REGARDED THEM AS AN INFERIOR RACE. (OUR
ILLUSTRIOUS TURKISH NATION IS SURELY BEYONDTHIS.) HE IS THE WORST
RACIST WHO IMPLANTED ENMITY TOWARD THE TURKS ACROSS THE WORLD.
Darwin never hesitated in openly stating how he regardedthe Turks as
an inferior race. In a letter dated 3 July, 1881, addressed to the
scientist W. Graham, he said the following about the Turks:
I could show fight on natural selection having done and doing more for
the progress of civilization than you seem inclined to admit. Remember
what risk the nations of Europe ran, not so many centuries ago of
being overwhelmed by the TURKS, and how RIDICILOUS such an idea now
is! The more civilised so-called Caucasian races have beaten the
TURKISH hollow in the struggle for existence. Looking tothe world at
no very distant date, what an endless number of the lower races will
have been eliminated by the higher civilised races throughout the
world. [i]
There is no other way of interpreting Darwin's words. Since the racist
Darwin openly regarded the Turkish nation as an INFERIOR NATION, he
believed that the TURKISH RACE would shortly be eliminated , WIPED OUT
IN OTHER WORDS , by supposed " SUPERIOR RACES ," meaning the peoples
of Europe.
This opinion of Darwin's about the Turkswas openly put into practice
regarding othersocieties. DARWINISM IS THE SOLE CAUSE of the racist
massacres, oppression and slaughters that took place in the Second
World War and after. Because according to the ideology of Darwinism,
human beings were just a species of animal, for which reason there was
an inevitable struggle for survival among the races. Leading fascists
holding that belief by drawing strength only from Darwinism
perpetrated their ruthless killings and murders, destroyed whole
peoples, made no allowances for women and children, and causedthe
deaths of hundreds of millions.
Peter Chrisp, author of the book The Rise of Fascism , makes this
quite clear in the words"The Nazis distorted Darwin's theories… using
them to justify warfare and racism." [ii] The historian R. Hickmanalso
describes how Hitlerwas influenced by Darwinism:
[Hitler] was a firm believer and preacher ofevolution. Whatever the
deeper, profound, complexities of his psychosis, it is certain that
his book, Mein Kampf , clearly set forth anumber of evolutionary
ideas, particularly those emphasizing struggle, survival of the
fittest andthe extermination of theweak to produce a better society.
[iii]
The conclusion from these facts about fascist racism is clear;
Darwinism is what is"truly" responsible for both all fascist regimes
and the two world wars.Fascists draw their basic beliefs from
Darwinism. Principles such as chaos, ruthlessness, oppression and
strong being right are all inherent in this perverted system that
regards chance as a creative force. The principle of continual
struggle in Darwinism lays the philosophical groundwork for endless
savagery, oppression and slaughter. Therefore IT IS DARWIN WHO
INFLICTED THE PHILOSOPHY OF FASCISM ON THE WORLD.
It is Darwin who is principally responsible for a century of mass
slaughter by spreading the idea that human beings are descended from
primitive animals and that undeveloped animals need to be destroyed.
It is also Darwin who inflicted racism and fascism on the world and
savagery, devastation and oppression on the people in it. And it is
Darwin who regarded the Turkish nation as an inferior race, who had no
compunctions about openly stating that, and who, since he believed the
Turks were an"inferior race," was determined they should be
eliminated, thus making him the worst fascist in history.
That is the view that publications suggesting that Darwin was"opposed
to racism" should be taking into account of the worst racist and
fascist of all time, a man who claimed the Turkish nation was an
inferior race and wished to see iteliminated. Darwinism isthe sole and
fundamental reason whythe world suffered years of tyranny under the
bloody rule of racism and fascism. The mass deceptions Darwinists have
perpetrated over the last 150 years or so have now come to an end in
absolute defeat. By trying to deceive people into thinking that the
worst fascist in history was actually"opposed to racism," Darwinists
merely make themselves look ridiculous. People no longer believe in
the liesof Darwinism and Darwinists.

Radio receivers on mountains
We gave Dawud great favor from Us: " O mountains and birds! Echo with
him in his praise! " And We made iron malleable for him: (Surah Saba',
10)
A radio telescope on Peach Mountain,
in Dexter, Michigan
The description of mountains "echoing" in the above verse may be a
reference to the way that radios work. (Allah knows the truth.) The
basic principles on which radios operate may be summarized as follows:
There are also radio telescopes which use radio waves to form images.
Since radio waves are very long, a radio telescope has to bemuch
larger in order to collect them as images sufficiently clear to be
compared. In order to obtain sharper and better images, astronomers
use a connected series of smaller telescopes or receptors. These
telescopes act collectively as one very large one. And in physical
appearance, these series resemble mountain systems.
In addition, "repeaters" are employed to permit radio communications
over every great distances. These devices repeat and strengthen weak
signals and enablethem to be transmitted over considerable distances.
Such devices are generally sited on tall buildings or on the tops of
mountains for preference, in order to have the greatest effect. The
use of the word "awwibi," translated as "echo" in the above verse, is
exceedingly wise. The statement of, "O mountains and birds! Echo with
him in his praise!'" in verse 10 of Surah Saba' may thus be a
description of that technology. Allah knows the truth.
Each of the antennae in the picture
weighs 212 tons, is as high as a
10-storey building and measures
25 meters across. i
The radio system consistsof a transmitter and a receiver. The
transmittertakes the message to be sent, encodes it in what is known
as a "sinus wave" and transmits it inthe form of waves. The receiver
takes in the radio waves and deciphers the message sent on the sinus
wave. In this way, the message is received in exactly the same form as
it was sent. The word "awwibi," translated as "echo" in the above verse
and meaning "sound being repeated or returned", may very well be a
reference to the transmission of these radio waves. (Allah knows the
truth.) Sounds emitted in the form of sound waves by way of an antenna
in order that the receiver can take in the data sentare also met by an
antenna linked to the receiver. The purpose behind using antennae is
the transmission into space of the waves emitted by the radio
transmitter. The receiving antenna is intended to collect as many
radio waves and messages as possible. That is why NASA uses giant
antennae bowls 70meters across for its satellites millions of
kilometers away in space.

The guardian: Darwinism in Britain has collapsed!
The British daily The Guardian recently described the global impact of
the works of Harun Yahya. A survey named "Rescuing Darwin" project,
prepared in order to rescue Darwinism, whichis in an increasing state
of collapse, on the 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth, has revealed
the full impact on Europe of the works of Harun Yahya. And in Britain,
regarded as the bastion of Darwinism, IT HAS EMERGED THAT ONLY 25% OF
PEOPLE BELIEVE IN DARWINISM .
In fact, the true numbersof people who do not believe in evolution, as
revealed in the poll in question, are very much higher. But even this
figure reflected in the press makes it quite clear the scale of the
defeat suffered by Darwinism in Europe.
It appears from this survey that THE BRITISH PUBLIC NO LONGER BELIEVE
IN NONSENSE! It also appears that THE WORKS OF HARUN YAHYA HAVE
ACHIEVED A SPIRITUAL CONQUEST OF EUROPE!
This extraordinary and globalimpact of the works of Harun Yahya was
described as follows in the Christian Science Monitor , which had
previously taken the Atlas of Creation as its cover story:
"Islamic Creationist group launches glitzy, global blitz."
The Atlas of Creation, described as a global blitz, has produced
lightning fast results in Europe. This highly significant work of
Harun Yahya's has been instrumental in very auspicious outcomes. The
days of darkness in Europe are now a thing of the past. Thanks to
Harun Yahya, Europe is now headed toward a bright future.
This important awakening is not limitedto Europe alone. Inspired by
the works of Harun Yahya, a huge reaction against the theory of
evolution has begun manifesting itself all over the world, including
Europe. THE CURRENT LEVEL OF PEOPLE REJECTING THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION
IN TURKEY STANDS AT 95%. According to one survey by Science magazine,
THEUNITED STATES OF AMERICA HAS THE LOWEST LEVEL OF BELIEF IN
EVOLUTION after Turkey. Polls conducted in various Darwinist countries
have again produced results that Darwinists are reluctant to accept:
92% of people in a poll on the French scientific web site Science
Actualités, 86% of people in a survey on the German daily Die Welt web
site, 88% of people in a poll in the Danish daily Ekstra Bladet web
site, 87% of people in a survey on the German daily Süddeutsche
Zeitung web site and 85% of people in a poll on the Swiss paper Blick
web site REJECT DARWINISM.
The works of Harun Yahya have awoken the world THROUGH A BLITZ AND
DESTROYED AND DEMOLISHED DARWIN'S THEORY OF EVOLUTION. Earlier
anti-evolution activity in America nevermatched the impact that the
works of Harun Yahya are having today. These organizations have been
active since the 1970s. But they have never managed to deal apowerful
blow to Darwinism in either Europe or globally. So much so that people
were entirely unaware of these organizations and their activities.
Because these organizations are less-effective ones, with weak
expressions to offer in many regards, and that claim the Earth is only
6,000 years old. THE ONLY POWERFUL ANTI-DARWINIAN MOVEMENT IN THE
WORLD IS THAT INITITATED BY HARUN YAHYA. Because Harun Yahya has won
hearts all over the world with his rational accounts that are grounded
in the Qur'an and based on clear and unequivocal scientific evidence.
This global success of Harun Yahya's IS BASED ON FINDINGS THAT ADDRESS
THE HUMANMIND AND SOUL AND THATARE CONFIRMED BY SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE
THAT CANNOT POSSIBLY BE PROVED OTHERWISE.
The impact of these valuable works is instrumental in raising people's
levels of awareness, as well as resulting in the global elimination of
Darwinism. According to a report published on the timesonline.co.uk
web site, MUSLIM POPULATION IN BRITAIN HAS RISEN TEN TIMES FASTER. The
number of Muslims living in Britain has grown by more than500,000 in
the last 4 years, while the number of Christians has declined. This
more than500,000 increase HAS COME ABOUT BY VIRTUE OFHARUN YAHYA, THE
SOLE INFLUENCE IN THAT DIRECTION. In the wake of the works of Harun
Yahya, people in Britain, the bastion of Darwinism, have abandoned the
evolution deceit and the level of Muslims in the country has grown
ten-fold.
The works of Harun Yahya have been instrumental in this great turning
toward belief in Allah (God) and this raising of people's huge
awareness against Darwinism. As our Lord has promised in the Qur'an ,
"Allah confirms the Truth by His words..."(Surah Yunus, 10) Those who
attempt to strive against Allah on the basis of a deception will
definitely be condemnedto failure in their lies and superstitious
religion. In the 21st century, Almighty Allah has made the works of
Harun Yahya His instrument in inflicting aterrible defeat on
Darwinists. This truth, which confronts Darwinists as they prepare to
celebrate the 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth, has madeit clear
that it is impossible to save Darwin anymore. DARWIN HAS BEEN
IRREVOCABLY AND VISIBLY DEFEATED IN HIS OWN HOMELAND.

the works of Harun Yahya.

Fathwa - Studying in a textbook that contains a false religious statement
Question
i have a book in which it is written that"life eternal through
knowledge" ..is it permissible to study fromsuch a book ..i even have
a medical entrance test which is based on this book.can i write that
exam?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify
that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad
, is His Slave and Messenger.
You did not mention to us the context in which that sentence was
stated so that we may know whether it has a specific interpretation.
Anyway, the apparent indication of that sentence is false and it is
not permissible to believe in it. Worldly life surely has an end
andafter it, there will be the Last Day in which Allaah The Almighty
will reckon His slaves.
However, its presence in that book does not prevent from benefiting
from the beneficial knowledge it has and from taking that test. That
is because it is well known that such books can rarely be free from
some false concepts.
You have really done wellby investigating and asking about what is
unclear to you of your religion. Indeed, the Muslim individual should
be like so, acting upon the saying of Allaah The Almighty (which
means): { So ask the people of the message if you do not know. }[Quran
21:7]
May Allaah reward you well.
Allaah Knows best.

Fathwa - Husband is not obliged tosupport wife's child from previous marriage
Question
assalamualaikom,I am newly embraced in islam and marreid for the 2nd
time to a divorced muslim man.He have 2kids from his 1st wife now
living with us.We dont hve kids of our ownsince 5yrs of merriage.Back
in my christian life b4,i marreidfor the 1st time and hve ason but our
marreige didnt last.Raising my son till he reach the of 6yrs old i
leave him to the costudy of my aunt and decided to work abroad where i
met this divorcedmuslim man.Withouth a doubt i accept his proposal,i
converted and we get marreid.B4 we get marreid,me husband know that i
hve a son.My problem now i about my son.My husband not give me any
help or support for my son and telling methat its forbidden in islam
to support any christian.Me as a mother is too hard to hear that
fact.Rather he keep on telling me to bring my son here with us to live
together which i wanted too but,him as a father,a husband and a man,i
cannot trust my son to him, only reason why i refused to bring my here
with us.He is a hot tempered man and used to beat us,me and his own
kids for just simple mistakes. Not only simple beat but severely
beatingthat i cannot imagine how a man,a father who have fear to ALLAH
can dothat. Please advice me what to do about my son.I insist to my
husband if i can work, so i can send support to my son but he wont let
me..I know wives in islam is not allowed to work. Only at home.,but
what about my case? my son?Me as a mother, it hurts, because its like
im abandoning my own son.....pls advicE me,i want my son to be a
muslim soon inshALLAH...JAZZAKALLAH KHAYRAN
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify
that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad
isHis slave and Messenger.
First of all, we congratulate you upon the blessing of embracing Islam
as this isa great bounty that requires from a person tobe grateful to
Allaah for it. Among being grateful to Allaah for it, is to do allthat
makes you remain firm and steadfast [on this religion], like seeking
beneficial knowledge, performing good deeds and befriending righteous
and pious women.
You should know that thestatement of your husband that it is forbidden
in Islam to support any Christian is a statement that contradicts the
Sharee'ah, as the Sharee'ah permitted us to be kind to the non-Muslims
who are notbelligerent to Muslims; Allaah says (what means):{ Allaah
does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of
religion and do not expelyou from your homes — from being righteous
toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allaah loves those
who act justly. } [Quran 60:8]
Also, you should know that a young child is ruled to be a Muslim as
long as one of his parentsis a Muslim. For more benefit, please refer
to Fatwa 81957 .
As regards spending on your son, then it is his father who is
obligated to spend on him, and your husband does not have to spend on
him unless he does so as an act of kindness, in which case he will be
rewarded for doing so. For more benefit, please refer to Fatwa 86141 .
In case his father is dead or insolvent and is unable to spend on him,
then it is his mother who is obligated to spend on him, as stated by
the jurists . Ibn Qudaamah said: " It is an obligation upon the mother
to spend on her child if he has no father; this is the same view of
Abu Haneefah and Ash-Shaafi'i. If the father is insolvent, then the
mother is obligated to spend on him, and she is entitled to ask his
father to reimburse her when he becomes solvent. "
Therefore, if you have nomoney to spend on him, then it is not an
obligation to endeavor to find work in order to spend on him and it is
not an obligation upon your husband to give youpermission to work.
However, since your husband does not object to your son living with
you, it might be more appropriate for you to accept it and be patient
with your husband so that you will be able to nurture your son and
guide him and educate him in a good manner; this is better than your
son being with his maternal aunt especially if she is a non-Muslim.
On the other hand, a husband is obligated to have good marital
relations with his wife and treat her in kindness;we have already
clarifiedthis in Fataawa 88304 and 86618 .
Indeed, it is a great evil for a husband to harm his wife and his
children and abuse them, as this ismisconduct and bad temperament. So,
you should advise him in a gentle manner and supplicate Allaah to
rectify him. In case you are harmed by staying with him, then you have
the right to ask for divorce, so you should resort to it if you think
that there is more benefitfor you in doing so, otherwise you should be
patient.
Allaah Knows best.

Fathwa - Ismaa'eel was ransomed with a ram, not with camels
Question
A/A when Ibraahim (AS) saw a dream, in which Allah had ordered him to
scarifies his son. Had Ibraahim (AS) slaughtered 100 camels in spite
of that on the first day, then again 100 camels on the second day. is
slaughtering of camel by him is true, if yes please give me its
reference
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify
that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad
, is His Slave and Messenger.
The correct opinion that most scholars adopt is what Ibn Katheer
stated that Ismaa'eel ) Ishmael ( was ransomed with a ram. It was
reported from Ibn 'Abbaas that he was ransomed with a mountain sheep.
At-Tabari reported that Mujaahid said: " He was ransomed with a ewe. "
We did not find anyone stating that he was ransomed with camels.
Rather, Al-Qurtubi confirmed that redemption was not done with camels
or cows, as he said: " That was a ram not a camel nor a cow. "
The story of the redemption of 'Abdul-Muttalib , where he ransomed his
son 'Abdullaah , the father of the Messenger of Allaah , indicates
that he fulfilled his vow with camels; as he had made avow to
sacrifice one of his adult sons and thus he ransomed him with 100
camels as reported inthe books of biography and history.

Using Food for Cosmetic Purposes
Allaah The Almighty has created man in the best shape and form; He
says (what means):
· } He Created the heavens and earth in truth and Formed you and
perfected your forms; and to Him is the [final] destination. { [Quran
64:3]
· } Who Created you, Proportionedyou, and Balanced you? { [Quran 82:7]
Allaah The Exalted created everything in the universe to suit the
nature of man as well as to be in harmony with the way Allaah
assembled him. Allaah The Almighty made everything on earth able to
meet the needs of man that vary and differ according to time and
place.
Hence, man lives in an environment and climate suitablefor him. Allaah
The Almighty Says (what means): } Do you not see that Allaah Has Made
subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth
and amply Bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and
unapparent? { [Quran 31:20]
One of the most important aspects of this life is food, which helps
man survive and obtain various benefits. It is the source of energy
and growth for the body and it resists diseases that weaken it. It was
proven throughmedicine and experimentation conducted throughout the
course of time that some kinds offood increase beauty and adornment
and help to remove defects that may afflict the body and affect its
beauty, or hide it.
There are two aspects of types of food that are involved in beauty:
The basic purpose for using themis treatment, and then other
beneficial uses evolved from this.
Examples of this are the following:
· Using honey to remove freckles that appear on the face.
· Using black seed to treat Alopecia and leprosy.
· Using lemon juice to remove thespots that surround the eyes, or any
spots on the face.
There is no doubt that this kind of treatment is lawful as long as it
is within the limits of Sharee'ah as these types of food are used as a
kind of treatment. The Prophet, , said: "Allaah has sent down both
disease and cure and appointed a cure for every disease. So treat
yourselves medically, but use nothing that isprohibited." [Abu
Daawood]
The second aspect is to use thesetypes of food for the sake of
beautification. Examples of these uses are the following:
· Using cucumbers to remove rough skin and wrinkles.
· Using parsley to help in purifyingthe skin and the face.
· Activating the skin by using strawberry.
This category is included in the general benefits that Allaah The
Almighty made lawful. This is according to the Fatwa that was issued
by the Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Issuing of Fatwas,
as proven by the following:
First: Allaah The Almighty created everything on earth and made them
subject to us in all forms, whether for a necessary or a complementary
benefit, or a benefit that man uses to relax and renew his activity
and power for the best of this worldly life and the Hereafter.
There is no doubt that using these permissible types of food inseeking
beauty and adornment isone of the benefits that Allaah The Almighty
has created for us; He Says (what means):
· } It is He who Created for you all of that which is on the earth.
Then He Directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all
creation], and Made them seven heavens, and He Is Knowing of
allthings. { [Quran 2:29]
· } Do you not see that Allaah has Subjected to you whatever is on the
earth and the ships which run through the sea by His command? And He
Restrains the sky from falling upon the earth, unless by His
permission. Indeed Allaah, to the people, is Kind and Merciful. {
[Quran 22:65]
Whoever contemplates upon these verses will find that this creation
and subjugation are not restricted to a certain aspect or one creature
alone, but they are general as they include everything that is of
benefit, as is indicated in the phrase which means } to you { .
Second: Beautification and adornment are among man's basic instincts
and are innate in the sons of Aadam. Thus, it is oneof the needs that
man seeks to fulfill. The Prophet, said: "The one who has in his heart
the weight of a mustard seed of pride will not enter Paradise." A man
said, "O Messenger of Allaah, everyone of us likes that his dressshould
be fine, and that his shoesshould be fine." The Prophet, , responded:
"Indeed, Allaah is Beautiful and He loves beauty." [Muslim]
The Prophet, , liked wearing perfume and had a bottle of perfume that
he would use. He would say: "Three things are rendered beloved to me
in the present life: women and perfume- and the coolness of my eyes
lies in performing prayer." [Ahmad]
The Prophet, , also had a Kohl (antimony) container for his eyes. He
used to oil his head and beard and comb them. He also used to have
certain clothes for meeting prominent persons and the chiefs of the
tribes. This is also required under Sharee'ah within the limits that
Allaah has set. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): } And it is He
who Subjected the sea for you to eat from it tender meat and to
extract from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships
plowing through it, and [He Subjected it] that you may seek ofHis
bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful. { [Quran 16:14]
Moreover, Allaah The Almighty has disapproved of prohibiting anything
of this without evidence; He says (what means): } Say, 'Who has
forbidden the adornment of Allaah which He has Produced for His
servants andthe good [lawful] things of provision?' Say, 'They are for
those who believe during the worldly life [but] exclusively for them
on the Day of Resurrection.'Thus do We Detail the verses for apeople
who know. { [Quran 7:32]
At the same time, however, the following should be borne in mind:
· Using these things should be according to the need that achieves
what is needed. A person should not be extravagant while using them as
Allaah The Almighty has forbidden this.
· It is better to use other means that are, by default, used for
cosmetic purposes, as these types of food were not originally created
for cosmetic purposes. This is so as to not indulge in wastefulness.
Beautification and Adornment
The Sharee'ah has approved of this as indicated by the following:
· Advising man to look after his body and cleanliness, which is
considered one of the aspects of adornment. The Prophet, , said: "Five
acts are from Fitrah[natural disposition]: circumcision, shaving the
pubic hair, clipping the nails, plucking the hair under the armpits
and cutting the moustache short." [Muslim]
· The Prophet, , forbade the traveler who returns at night from
surprising his wife, so as not to see her in a bad condition. The
Prophet, , said in this regard: "[Do not return] until the woman
removes the pubic hair and combs her hair." [Muslim]
· The Prophet, , urged us to purify ourselves and made this
purification a reason for being forgiven by Allaah The Almighty in
some cases. For instance, the Prophet, , said: "Whoever takes a bath
on Friday, purifies himself as much as he can, then uses his [hair]
oil or perfumes himself, then proceeds [for the Friday prayer] and
does not separate two persons who are sitting together [in the
mosque], then prays as much as he can according to what was
predetermined by Allaah and remains silent while the Imam is
delivering the Khutbah, his sins between the present and the past
Friday would be forgiven." [Al-Bukhaari]
Third: The basic rule for adornment and beautification is
permissibility unless something that is prohibited under Sharee'ah is
used like impurities and alcohol that is part of the perfume industry
with a high percentage. Also, gold and silk for men and the use of
perfume for women at a time that she willpass by non- Mahram men.

says (what means):
And He
Restrains the sky from falling upon the earth, unless by His
permission. Indeed Allaah, to the people, is Kind and Merciful. {

Al-Khansaa': Poetess and Mother of Martyrs
According to the connoisseurs of Arabic poetry, there has never been a
woman whose poetry wasas replete with knowledge, or who was more
knowledgeable than Al-Khansaa' . The Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa
salam , used to ask her to recite her poetry, which he admired, in
front of him. She composed a great deal of poetry, and the most
eloquent of her poetry were odes in lamentation of her two brothers,
Sakhr and Mu'aawiyah, who were killed during the pre-Islamic era.
She spent the greatest part of herlifetime during the pre-Islamic
days, and when Islam appeared, she embraced it and went to the
Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa salam , as a member ofthe
delegate of her tribe, Banu Sulaym.
She was recognized for her deep faith in Allaah The Almighty and His
Messenger, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa salam , and her zeal for Jihaad
(struggle) in the cause of supporting the truth. She attended the
Battle of Qaadisiyyah in 16 AH, in the company of her four sons.
Duringthe first part of the night, she said to them,
"O my sons! You have embraced Islam willingly and emigrated freely. By
Allaah, other than Whom there is none worthy of worship, you are the
sons of one man and one woman. I have never betrayed your father nor
have I disgraced your maternal uncle, nor have I dishonored yournoble
lineage, nor have I tampered with your parentage. You indeed know the
abundant reward prepared by Allaah The Almighty for the Muslims. It
should be known to you that the everlasting abode is better than the
perishable abode. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): } O you who
have believed, persevereand endure and remain stationedand fear Allaah
that you may be successful. { [Quran 3:200]
Should tomorrow morning come upon you while you are safe, Allaah
willing, go early to fight your enemy with courage, and seek the
support of Allaah The Almighty against His enemies. When the battle
becomes fierce, betake yourselves amidst it and be eager to fight
bravely when the army is engaged in combat, perchance you receive gain
and honor in the abode of eternity."
Her sons set out in response to her advice, and continued fighting
while reciting poetry in Rajaz (a meter employed in Arabicpoetry), and
did their best in combat until they were all martyred. When the news
of their martyrdom reached her, shesaid, "Praise be to Allaah The
Almighty who honored me with their being killed in His cause, and I
hope that He will join me with them in the resting place of His
mercy." 'Umar ibn Al-Khattaab continued to give her the stipend of her
four sons, two hundred dirhams each, until he died.
Al-Khansaa' was a strong, believing woman, whose life was changed by
Islam and who was turned by faith into an exemplaryrole model for
Muslim women. When her brother, Sakhr, was killed in the pre-Islamic
period, she composed many poems lamenting him. Yet, after she embraced
Islam, she sacrificed her sons, the dearest of people toher, in the
cause of Allaah The Almighty. This is not strange. Thisis what Islam
does to those who embrace and love it. It turns theirlives into
avenues for doing good deeds, plants in them patience and faith, and
helps them to transcend afflictions and trials.
One day, Al-Khansaa' visited 'Aa'ishah, the Mother of the Believers
and she was wearing a vest that was made ofhair. 'Aa'ishah said to
her, "O Khansaa'! The Messenger of Allaah says that it is forbidden to
wear such clothes." She said,
"I did not know, but there is a story behind it. My father gave me in
marriage to a spendthrift man, who wasted his wealth. I went to [my
brother] Sakhr who divided his wealth into two halves, and gave me the
better part. When my husband did the same once again and I went to
Sakhr, my brother, who divided his wealth into two halves and once
again gave me the better part. His wife said to him, "Are you not
pleased to give her a half, why must you give her the betterportion?"
He said, "By Allaah, I shall never give her the worse, because I have
never been put to shame because of her; and should I die, she would
cut off her outer garment (in grief for me), and wear a vest of hair
instead."
Her real name was Tumaadhir bint 'Amr ibn Ash-Shareed ibn Al-Haarith
As-Sulamiyyah. She wasnicknamed Al-Khansaa' because of her bent nose
bone and narrow nostrils. Al-Khansaa' was a model of eloquence, and
faithful patience in aspiring for the reward of Allaah The Almighty,
and was a virtuous woman who continues to inspire generations.

Neglecting the Glorious Quran
It is recommended for every believing man and woman to recite the Book
of Allaah, the Noble Quran, often, with due contemplation and
understanding. This may be doneby using a copy of the Quran or from
one's memory. Allaah - the Most High – Says (what means): " [This is]
a blessed Book (the Quran) which We have revealed to you [O Muhammad],
that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of
understanding would be reminded ." [Quran 38:29] And:
" Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allaah (the Quran) and
establish prayer and spend [in Hiscause] out of what We have provided
them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a transaction [i.e. profit]
that will never perish. That He may give them in full their rewards
and increase for them of His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving and
Appreciative. " [Quran 35:29-30]
The aforementioned recitation of the Quran includes both reciting and
acting upon it (abiding by what Almighty Allaah enjoins in itand
refraining from what He forbids in it). The recitation is to be done
with contemplation and understanding of it. Sincerity to Allaah is a
means of complying with and acting upon the Quran, and its recitation
contains a greatreward - as the Prophet said: "Recite the Quran, for
on the Day of Resurrection, it shall come as an intercessor for its
companion (one who recites and complies byits teachings)." [Muslim]
The Prophet also said: "The best of you is he who learns the Quran and
teaches it." [Al-Bukhaari]
Another narration states: "Whoever reads one letter of the Quran shall
receive a good deed and ten good deeds similar to it. I do not say
that Alif Laam Meem is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Laam is a
letter and Meem is a letter." [At-Tirmithi]
The Prophet said to AbdullaahIbn 'Amr Ibn Al-`Aas : "Complete the
recitation of the Quran once a month." He ('Abdullaah) said: "I am
able to do more than that, O Messenger of Allaah." So he said: "Then
complete its recitation once in seven days." [Al-Bukhaari]
The Companions used to complete the entire Quran once every seven days.
So, it is recommended that the readers of the Quran increase their
reading of it, with contemplation and understanding it, along with
sincerity to Allaah - with the purpose of learning and benefiting from
it. They should read the entire Quran once a month. If, however, they
are able to do more than this without anydifficulty, then they should
complete it in less than this time.
However, it is best not to complete it in less than three days, since
this is the least amount of time that the Prophet mentioned to
'Abdullaah Ibn `Amr Ibn Al-`Aas . This is because if it is read in
less than three days, the person becomes hasty and lacks thought and
concentration while reading it.
Allaah, the Most High, Says in the Glorious Quran (what means): " And
the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this
Quran as [a thing] abandoned ." [Quran: 25: 30]
So, Allaah Almighty informs us about His Messenger Muhammad that he
said: "My Lord my people have abandoned - acting or listening - to the
Quran." and that is because the idol-worshippers did not pay attention
nor listen to the Quran, as Allaah Says (what means): "And those who
disbelieve say, "Do not listen to this Quran and speak noisily during
[the recitation of] it that perhaps you will overcome." [Quran 41:26]
Thus, when the Quran was being read to them, they would deliberately
make noise and futilespeech so that they would not hear the Quran.
However, this is from the ways of abandoning theQuran. Likewise, not
having faith and trust in it is also from the ways of abandoning the
Quran. Not pondering over it, nor trying to understand it, not acting
by it, not obeying its orders and refraining from what it forbids,
turning to something other than it - whether poetry, music, amusement,
or other forms of vain speech and taking a path that is derived from
other than the Quran are all from the ways of abandoning the Quran, of
which we were strictly warned byAllaah, the Most Exalted, and His
Messenger .

Dought - clear - A fabricated hadeeth about praying two rak‘ahs every Thursday during Sha‘baan.
I received a message likethis in my e-mail: Praying two rak'ahs every
Thursday during Sha'baan: The Messenger(blessings and peace of Allah
be upon him and his family) said: "Whoever prays two rak'ahs at that
time, reciting in each rak'ah the Opening of the Book (al-Faatihah)
and "Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad" (Soorat al-Ikhlaas) one hundred times, and
when he says the salaam, he sends blessings upon the Prophet
(blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) one hundred times,Allah
will fulfil all his needs in his religious and worldly affairs." I
would like to find out how sound these words are and how to do these
two rak'ahs, seeing that it mentions reciting Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad one
hundred times; is that recitation to be completed during the two
rak'ahs or afterwards?.
Praise be to Allaah.
This hadeeth has no basis in the books of Sunnah. It would appearto be
one of the fabricated hadeeths thatspeak of the virtues of praying in
Sha'baan. A number of hadeeths were fabricated and falsely attributed
to the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) about the
virtues of Sha'baan and pray during this month, and the night of the
fifteenth of the month. Al-'Allaamah Ibn Hajar al-Haytami (may Allah
have mercy on him) said:All the hadeeths which speak of the virtues of
this night – meaning the night of the first Friday of Rajab and the
night ofthe fifteenth of Sha'baan– are false and has no basis, even
though they appear in some books bymajor scholars such as
al-Ghazaali's Ihya' 'Uloom ad-Deen and so on. End quote.
Al-Fataawa al-Fiqhiyyah al-Kubra, 1/184
Similarly, hadeeths werefabricated about the virtue of praying on
certain days of the week.
Ash-Shawkaani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: With regard towhat
is said about praying on Sunday, Monday or other days of the week,
there is no dispute among the scholars of hadeeth that these are
fabricated hadeeths and that this prayer is not regarded as mustahabb
by any of the leading scholars. Endquote.
Al-Fawaa'id al-Mawdoo'iyyah, 1/74
So it is not permissible toact upon this false and fabricated hadeeth.
In the saheeh hadeeths there is sufficient for theone who wants to
truly follow the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
And Allah knows best.

What is the ruling on raising the hands when saying takbeer in the
funeral prayer?
Praise be to Allah.
There is no difference of opinion among the scholars (may Allah have
mercy on them) concerning the fact that the Sunnah is to raise the
hands when saying the first takbeer of the funeral prayer.
An-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:Ibn al-Mundhir said in
his book al-Ishraaf wa'l-Ijmaa': They are unanimously agreed that (the
worshipper) should raise his hands when saying the first takbeer, but
they differed concerning the rest of it.
End quote from Sharh al-Muhadhdhab, 5/190
With regard to the othertakbeers, the scholars (may Allah have mercy
on them) differed as to whether the hands should be raised or not?
In al-Mawsoo'ah al-Fiqhiyyah (16/29) it says: He should only raise his
hands in the first takbeer, according to the Hanafis. This was the
view of Maalik and itis the more correct view according to their
madhhab. … The Shaafa'is and Hanbalis said that it is Sunnah to raise
the hands with every takbeer. End quote.
Ibn al-Mundhir favoured the view that the hands should be raised with
every takbeer. See al-Majmoo', 5/190
Shaykh Ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The Sunnah is to
raise the hands with all four takbeers, because it is proven that Ibn
'Umar and Ibn 'Abbaas used to raise their hands with all the takbeers.
Ad-Daaraqutni narrated it in a marfoo' report from Ibn 'Umar with a
jayyid isnaad.
End quote from Majmoo'al-Fataawa, 13/148
Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: Which
is better, to raise the hands or not raise them in the funeral prayer?
He replied: The correct view is that raising the hands with the
takbeer in the funeral prayer is Sunnah with each of the takbeers, as
was clearly narrated from Ibn 'Umar.Such tawqeefi matters (i.e.,
matters that must be based on sound reports and cannot be subject to
ijtihaad) can only be determined on the basis of a text. In factit is
narrated that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)
used to raise his hands with every takbeer.
End quote from Duroos wa Fataawa al-Haram al-Madani.
He also said: The correct view is that (the worshipper) should
raisehis hands with every takbeer, because that is narrated in a
saheeh report from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with
him). With regard to the view of some, that it should be done only in
the opening takbeer, this is the view of some of the scholars, but the
correct view is that it should be done with every takbeer. End quote
from Majmoo' al-Fataawa, 17/134
And Allah knows best.

Quran the Clear Truth - A NUMERIC MIRACLE OF THE QURAN
The word (Sea or Water) is mentioned 32 times, and the word (Landmass)
is mentioned 13 times in the Holy Quran. If we add them together we
will get 45.
Now let us do some calculations.
By finding the percentage of the number of the word (Sea) to the total
number of the words (Sea and Landmass) we will have:
(32/45)x100% = 71.11111111111%
By finding the percentage of the number of the word (Landmass) to the
total number of the words(Sea and Landmass) we will have:
(13/45)x100% = 28.88888888889%
Scientists have only recently discovered that these are the actual
ratios of the water and landmass of this world. However,Allah has
revealed this information already in the Quran over fourteen hundred
years ago!
So what do you think? Could it bea Chance?

Quran the Clear Truth - PRESERVATION OF PHARAOH’S BODY
Dr. Maurice Bucaille is an eminentFrench surgeon, scientist,
scholarand author of "The Bible, The Quran and Science" which contains
the result of his research into the Judeo-Christian Revelation and the
Quran. It is a unique contribution in the field of religion and
science.
Being an outstanding Scientist, he was selected to treat the mummy of
Merneptah (Pharaoh), which he did. During his visit to Saudi Arabia he
was shown the verses of the Holy Quran in which Allah says that the
dead body of the Pharaoh will be preserved as a "Sign" for posterity.
"So this day We shall deliver your (dead) body (out from the sea) that
you may be a sign to those who come after you! And verily, many among
mankind are heedless of Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons,
signs , revelations, etc.)." (The Quran, 10:92)
An impartial scientist like Dr. Bucaille, who (being also a Christian)
was conversant with the Biblical version of Pharaoh's story as being
drowned in pursuit of Prophet Moses. He was pleasantly surprised to
learn that unknown to the world till only of late 20th century, the
Holy Quran made definite prediction about the preservation of the body
of that same Pharaoh of Moses' time. This led Dr. Bucaille to studythe
Holy Quran thoroughly after learning the Arabic language and accepted
Islam as the truth.
The body of Pharaoh is now lying in a Cairo museum as an open miracle
of the Holy Quran, for those who pay heed to the signs of Allah.

The intention is the foundation of every action
The Messenger of Allaah said: "Verily actions are by intentions, and
for every person is what he intended. So the one whose 'hijrah'
(migration) was to Allaah and His Messenger, then his 'hijrah' was to
Allaah and His Messenger. And the one whose 'hijrah' was for the world
to gain from it, or a woman to marry her, then his 'hijrah' was for
what he made 'hijrah' for." [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]
Many scholars began books with this Hadeeth. Imaam Al-Bukhaari
commences his book of Hadeeth (Saheeh Al-Bukhaari) with this Hadeeth
and explains that every action that is done without seeking Allaah's
pleasureis invalid and devoid of reward.
It can be said that the entire religion revolves around this Hadeeth.
Imaam Ash-Shaafi'i said, "this Hadeeth constitutes a third of all
knowledge."
Muslim scholars differ in opinion as to the limits of the Prophet's
saying: ' actions are by intentions' . Many of the later scholars are
of the opinion that the limit is that the action is made correct or
acceptable with the intention. What is meant by this is that a
legislated action needs an intention. As for habitual actions such as
eating, drinking, dressing, etc., they are not in need of an
intention.
Some say 'actions' here is to be understood in its generality;
therefore, nothing is exempt from it. Others relate this as the saying
of the majority, meaning the majority of the early scholars. This
occurs in the words of Ibn Jareer At-Tabari, Abu Taalib Al-Makki, and
others from the early scholars . Imaam Ahmad said: "I like that for
every action, from prayer, fasting or charity or any action of
righteousness that there be an intention preceding the action. The
Prophet said: 'actions are by intentions' , and this is taken for
every matter."
Fadl Ibn Ziyaad said: "I asked Abu Abdullaah (i.e. Imaam Ahmad ) about
the intention in action, how should it be? He said: 'One should
concentrate on himself when he intends to do an action, not doing it
for the sake of people (i.e. showing off).'"
It is possible that the limits of the saying, 'actions are by
intention' , are that the action is good, corrupt, acceptable,
rejected, rewarded, or not rewarded according to the intention.
Therefore, this statement informs us of the Islamic ruling concerning
this: the correctness or incorrectness of the action is in accordance
with the correctness or incorrectness of the intention.
The saying of the Prophet after this: 'and for everyone is what he
intended' informs that one can not gain anything from his action
except what he intended. So if he intended good, he gets good. If he
intended evil then he gets evil. This second statement (of the
Hadeeth) is notmerely reiterating the first, because the first
statement points to the fact that the goodness or corruptness of the
action is according to the intention necessary for that action to
exist. The second statement points to the fact that the reward of a
person for his action is according to his good intention, and that the
punishment for his action is according to his evil intention.
Scholarly definition of the word 'Intention':
1. To distinguish different types of worship, one from the other. Like
distinguishing Noon (Thuhr) Prayer from Afternoon ('Asr) Prayer, or
distinguishing the fast of Ramadhaan from other fasts, or
distinguishing actions of worship from actions of habit: like
distinguishing bathing from impurity from bathing for the purpose of
cleanliness.
2. To distinguish for who or whatthe action is done: is it for Allaah
only, for other than Allaah, or for Allaah and others than Him?
The meaning of 'intention' in the speech of the Prophet and the Salaf
(righteous predecessors) was used generallyto carry the meaning of
'desire'. In the Quran, the word 'desire' is often used to describe an
intention, as in Allaah's saying (which means): "… Among you are some
who desire this world, and among you are some who desire the Hereafter
…" [Quran 3: 152]
Also (what means): " Whoever desires the life of this world and its
adornments …" [Quran 11: 15] And (what means): " And keep yourself
patient [by being] with those who call upon their Lord in the morning
and the evening, seeking His countenance. And let not your eyes pass
beyond them, desiring adornments of the worldly life... " [Quran 18:
28]
Sometimes intention is describedwith the word 'seeking' as in Allaah's
saying (which means): " But only seeking the countenanceof his Lord,
Most High ." [Quran 92: 20] And (which means): "…andyou do not spend
except seeking the countenance of Allaah…" [Quran 2: 272]
Regarding the second meaning ofintention, there are numerous examples
from the 'Sunnah' and the statements of the 'Salaf'. To mention a few:
The Messenger said: "People will be gathered upon their intentions."
[Ibn Maajah] He also said: " Mankind will be resurrected upon their
intentions." [Muslim] Another Hadeeth says: " Verily those slain on
the battlefield will be resurrected upon their intentions." [Ibn Abi
Ad-Dunyaa]
The Prophet also said: "For the ones whose concern is this world,
Allaah will scatter his affair, and place poverty betweenhis two eyes.
He will not get fromthe world except what is written for him. For the
one whose intention is the Hereafter, Allaah will gather for him his
affair and place contentment in his heart, and the world will come to
him willingly." [Ibn Maajah]
Zayd Ash-Shaami said: "VerilyI like to make an intention for
everything I do even if it is eating and drinking."
Sufyaan Ath-Thawri said: "I have not treated anything more difficult
than my intention, because it keeps changing."
Ibn Al-Mubaarak said: "Maybea small action is made great by its
intention, and maybe a great action is made small by its intention."
The three above-mentioned sayings were reported by Ibn Abi Ad-Dunyaa
in his book 'The Sincerity and the Intention'.
Imaam Ahmad said that the foundation of the religion is uponthree Hadeeths:
1. "Verily actions are by intention." [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]
2. "Whosoever introduces into this affair of ours that which is not
part of it then it is rejected." [Muslim]
3. " The Halaal (lawful) is clear andthe Haraam (prohibited) is
clear." [Al-Bukhaari & Muslim]
Islam teaches us to perform good actions, stay away from theforbidden
actions and stop at thedoubtful matters. All of this is perfected upon
two matters:
Actions must be done correctly, according to the teachings of Islam,
and seeking the Pleasure of Allaah, Almighty.
Fudayl Ibn `Iyaadh said about the saying of Allaah (whichmeans): " He
who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in
deed ." [Quran 67:2]
Who is sincere and correct in it? If the action is sincere and
incorrect, then it is not accepted. Likewise if it is correct and not
sincere then it is not accepted. It is only accepted when it is both
sincere and correct. It is sincere when it is for the sake of Allaah,
and correct when it is done according to the teachings of Islam.

Allaah The Almighty LovesDeliberation - II
We should be deliberate and not hasty in our speech. What makes us act
hastily in any matter, without giving it careful consideration? As
long as we are in the process of thinking and have not uttered any
words or done an action, we still have the privilege of choice .
However, once we have uttered the words or done the action, then we
have no choice but to wait for the results.
Do you not see how many people are in prison and if you asked them,
they would all say in one voice: " We were hasty."
Try to have strong determination in controlling your own self and
restraining it from taking any step without careful consideration, as
taking a step after careful thinking and knowledge is praiseworthy,
especially when it comes to matters related to the Hereafter. Hence,
do not be hesitant or reluctant regarding doing good deeds, but try to
hasten to do them. Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqaas said, " The Prophet said :
'Deliberation should be in every matter except matters that pertain to
the Hereafter.'" [Abu Daawood] [Al-Albaani: Saheeh [
Imaam An-Nawawi differentiated between deliberation and solemnity and
said, "Deliberation in movements and the avoidance of frivolity is the
praised deliberation, but lowering the gaze and the voice is
solemnity."
Practically, it is proved that the one who is hasty and realizes
thiscan train himself to be deliberate and when he reaps the fruits of
deliberation, he continues to remain as such.
Haste is one of the qualities of the youth and may result in dangerous
consequences for their deeds. Thus, it is a good idea to bring up the
youth so that they are used to meditation and careful thinking, and to
avoidhastening towards darkness before having the light of knowledge
as the negative effects of their deeds will not only affect them, but
also their families and societies.
Dear brothers and sisters, the devil deceives humans by means of their
temper to prevent them from even thinking about altering or improving
their tempers. Some of us believe that we have been created with the
innate quality of being hasty, to the extent that we cannot conceive
of abandoning it and excuse ourselves regarding many of our mistakes
or hasty actions.
We should remember that being deliberate is achieved through training,
so train yourself to thinkcarefully before making any decision and
before speaking. Do not cause yourself to apologize frequently because
of your haste and remember that sometimes the consequences could be
very bad.
Do you know that the Prophet, , was very strict with those who were
hasty, especially when the negative effects of their behavior could be
fatal?
Usaamah ibn Zayd said, "The Messenger of Allaah sent us towards
Al-Huraqah, and in the morning we attacked them and defeated them. I,
and a man of the Ansaar followed a man from among them and when we
took him over, he said, 'La ilaaha illallaah.' On hearing that, the
Ansari man stopped, but I killed him by stabbing him with my spear.
When we returned, the Prophet came to know about that and he said: 'O
Usaamah! Did you kill him after he had said, "La ilaaha illallaah?"' I
said, 'But he said so only to save himself.' The Prophet kept on
repeating that so often that I wished I had not embraced Islam before
that day."
The Prophet, , reproached thehasty people in the Hadeeth (narration)
by Jaabir who said, "We were travelling and a man among us was injured
by a stone and his head was woundedthen he had a wet dream and asked
his companions if he could have permission to perform Tayammum (dry
ablution). They told him that he could not be excused as he had water.
Thus, the man performed Ghusl and he died. When we returned to the
Prophet and told him he said: 'They killed him. May Allaah kill them!
Why did they not ask whenthey did not know, as the remedyof ignorance
is asking. It was sufficient for him to perform Tayammum and wrap a
piece of cloth over the wound then wipe over it and wash the rest of
his body.' " [Abu Daawood]
Taste the sweetness of deliberation in all your matters asyou will not
aspire to something except that which Allaah The Almighty has decreed
and nothing will afflict you except that which Allaah The Almighty has
decreed, so why are you hasty?

hastily in any matter, without giving it careful consideration? As
long as we are in the process of thinking and have not uttered any
words or done an action, we still have the privilege of choice .
