*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Prophet Ibrahim (1)

Prophet Ibrahim as a role model
We often see the term"role model" in newspapers and magazines. It
refers to someone who leads the sort of life that you would like to
live. Many of us choose our favorite sports star or film star as our
role model because we are impressed by the glitter and flair of these
wealthy people. However, if we stopped to think about what kind of
lives the starsreally lead, perhaps we would have second thoughts
about our choice of role model. How many of these stars have never
known or have forgotten Allah in their quest for fame and riches! How
often are they consumedby hate, envy, violence, drugs and other
evils! Whoreally wants that kind of life? Certainly not we Muslims.
The Qur'an tells us that theprophets should be our role models, and
Prophet Ibrahim (alayhissalam) in particular is frequently mentioned.
He was obedient to Allah, upright, and he did not worship any godbut
Allah. He turned away from those who worshipped idols, even from his
own father. He was grateful to Allah for the blessings which were
bestowed on him. Hewasrewarded with good in this world and he is
among the righteous in the hereafter.
Prophet Ibrahim's call
Prophet Ibrahim 's (alayhis salam) father, Azer, was a stone carver.
He carved theimages of the idols which his people worshipped. Prophet
Ibrahim (alayhis salam) grew up in an atmosphere of paganism, in which
Allah was just one of many gods worshipped by his people. But Allah
chose Ibrahim (alayhis salam) to be His prophet.Prophet Ibrahim
(alayhis salam) saw a star when it rose and called upon it as his
lord, but when it set he realized that it was powerless. He called
upon the moon when it rose in the sky, but it toodisappeared as
itset. Then he decided toworship the sun when it rose, but even the
sun with all its brilliance had to set each evening. It wasat this
point that Prophet Ibrahim (alayhis salam) was ready to acknowledgethe
supremacy of the Creatorof all the heavenly bodies, the Lord of all
creation, and a being without equal and withoutpartners. He tried
unsuccessfully to persuadehis father and his people to discard the
useless idolsand to submit themselves wholly to Allah. He promised his
father that he would pray for forgiveness for him, and since he had
promised, he did pray. But we are told in the Qur'an that we should
shun pagans and we should not pray for them(Qur'an 9:113-114).
Prophet Ibrahim (alayhissalam) asked his people why they worshipped
those idols which they themselves had made, instead of the true God
who had created everything and everybody. The people answered that they
worshipped the idols because their fathers had done so. One day, when
noone was about, Prophet Ibrahim (alayhissalam) took his right hand
and smashed the idols topieces, all except the biggest. The people
came running, asking who had destroyed theirgods. Prophet Ibrahim
(alayhis salam) pointed to the big god and said,"He did it. Why don't
you ask them?" But of course those fragments of stone were not able to
speak and the people knew in their hearts thatthe big stone could not
have destroyed them. SoProphet Ibrahim (alayhissalam) asked, "Why do
you worship these powerless rocks instead of Allah who is all
powerful?" Then the people were very angry and they seized Prophet
Ibrahim (alayhis salam) and threw him into a blazing fire. But Allah
was with Prophet Ibrahim (alayhis salam) and made the blaze feel cool
to him. Prophet Ibrahim (alayhis salam) emerged from the fire
unharmed.
In Arabia at the time of the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him),
threereligious groups claimed ancestry to the prophet Ibrahim (alayhis
salam). They were the Christians, the Jews, and the pagan
idol-worshippers. But the religion of Ibrahim (alayhissalam) was none
of these three. His religion was truly that ofIslam , a total
submission to the will of Allah. It is he who shouldserve as our role
model, a man of unswerving faith introubled times.
You can read about Prophet Ibrahim (alayhissalam) as a role model
andabout his disputes over the idols in the following suras of the
Qur'an: 2:130, 135, 258; 3:67; 6:74-83; 16:120-123; 19:41-50;
21:51-71; 26:70-82; 37:83-98; 60:4-6.

How will the awaited ottoman model come?

The only solution in these years when mankind stands most in need of
peace, calm and brotherhood is to raise people with proper moral
values, who are just, devout and patriotic. The way to do that is by
elevating national and spiritual values by using modern means and
methods of communication. The current young generation of Turks must
be made aware of their Turkish and Muslimidentity and of their Ottoman
legacy by means of modern meansof mass communications. In order for the
importance of this Muslim Turkish identity to be properly appreciated,
they must be told how people possessing that identity ordered the
world for hundreds of years.
Over the course of history the Turkish Nation founded 16 powerful
states, and with the superior ability it demonstrated in the
administration of those states it constitutes a historic model for all
the nations of the world. The strength of the Muslim Turkish Nation,
and particularly the Seljuk and the Ottoman empires, cannot be
explained in terms of military strength alone. It was a moral
conception based on thevalues of the Qur'an that underlay the force
that governed the world's most complex and sensitive region over
thecenturies.
The main features of thismoral conception revealed by our Lord in the
Qur'an are behaving honestly and generously by avoiding oppression and
injustice, maintaining justice no matter what the circumstances, and
always favoring tolerance and reconciliation. It is because of these
characteristics that the peoples subject to them were always content
with the rule of the Muslim Turks, and even generally entered under
their rule of their own free will. It was thanks to this just rule
under the Ottoman Empire that members of the three Abrahamic faiths
and many sects and millions of people with completely different
languages, cultures and ethnic origins lived together in peace for
hundreds of years in an area including the whole of the Balkans, the
Caucasus and the Middle East.
In our day, however, thesuffering, tears, oppression and war in those
same lands refuse to come to an end. The "Ottoman Territories" made up
of the Balkans, the Middle East and the Caucasus, with Turkey in their
center, are still veryactive and complex in structure. The vacuum that
arose in the region in the wake of the Ottoman Empire has yet to be
filled and no real security has been established. This has attracted
the notice of the Muslim Turkish Nation that applied an exemplary
"co-existence model" in these same lands for hundreds of years under
Ottoman leadership. And this model reveals the fact that it can only
be made a reality today and in the future by the Muslim Turkish
Nation. Indeed, many statesmen, political scientists and
researcher/authors havebeen examining this justsystem of
administrationimplemented with such success by the Turkic states,
especially the Ottoman Empire. The aimbehind this investigationis to
establish a new administrative model based on that applied bythe
Turks.
History shows that permanent peace can bebrought to both the Middle
East and to the Balkans and the Caucasus under Turkish leadership,
that of the heir to the Ottoman legacy. A union established under
Turkey's leadership will both put an end to the conflicts and bring
permanent peace to the region and also raise thestandards of living of
all the peoples there as they become part of a powerful economic
union.
The Turkish Nation possesses a very sound and deep-rooted legacy. The
important thing is toproperly understand that legacy and to turn our
faces to the future while fully adopting our past.
The most powerful model, in military, political and economic terms,
available to the states in the region is one resulting from their
joining forces rather than clashing with one another. A common
foreign policy will make these states a power in world politics. For
that reason, Turkey's mission regarding the future in this new age,
the 21st century, must be one compatible with the greatness and glory
of the Muslim Turkish states. Moreover, as in the past this mission
must be one that will elevate Turkey to the highest peaks and place it
among the world's leading states, the position it deserves. The
solution sought by the Muslim Turkish Nation, which founded the most
powerful civilizations in world history and reigned over the whole of
the Mediterranean and the Middle East, lies in its own history.
The responsibility of the individual members, the children, of a
nation thatfounded glorious states over the centuries and ruled over
three continents, and that has the potential to establisha new world
state in the 21st century is to correctly understand and act on the
material and spiritual values that made the Ottomans what they were.
The Ottoman example shows that the Turkish Nation has the requisite
experience, ability and strength to easily manage a wide expanse of
territory. The important thing is to properly evaluate these values
that were so elevated in the Ottoman Empire and re-interpret them and
apply them to our own age.
As in the past, so today, with its patience, faith and excellent moral
values, the Muslim-Turkish Nation will support the wronged against the
oppressor, and will unite people from different cultures and origins
under the umbrella of justice and tolerance, and will thus establish
the climate of peace and security for which the whole world is
longing.
By the will of Allah, the 21st century will be an age of enlightenment
for all Muslim and Turkish people...
The disorder and confusion in the Middle East in recent years has led
world historians to intensively investigate the Ottoman Empire.
Seven hundred fifty foreign scholars applied to attend the 15th
Turkish History Congress held by the Turkish History Institution (THI)
on 1-15 September, 2006.
THI President Yusuf Halacoglu stated that therecord demand for
attendance stemmed from increasing interest in Turkey and the Ottoman
Empire on the part of historians.
Halacoglu described this interest by saying, "The lands where the
events in the Middle East taking place in Ottoman territories has
encouraged much greater research in theselands on the part of
historians." Prof. Ilber Ortayli, a member of the Preparatory
Committee, stated that previously only Europeans had been interested
in the Ottoman Empire, though now the whole world was interested in
it.
The reason for their success in the Gallipoli Campaign was the
devotion Turkish troops demonstrated to Islamic moral values.
There is no doubt that one of the most important events in Turkish
history is the War of Independence. The religious behavior of the
Turkish Nation played a major role in the winning of that war.Turks,
young and old, displayed enormous self-sacrifice and made amajor
contribution to the preservation of the country. Ataturk saw that it
was its spiritual strength that kept the heroic Turkish Army going
during the Gallipoli Campaign and described the determination of the
troops in these words:
They see the dying, know they will die in three minutes, but display
not the slightest defeatism; there is no wavering! Those who can read
hold the Holy Qur'an and prepare to enter paradise. Those who cannot,
march reciting the Confession of Faith. This is an astonishing and
laudable model that shows the spiritual power in Turkish troops. You
must be sure that it is this loft soul that won the Gallipoli
Campaign. (Selected Passages from Ataturk, Collected by: Cihat Imer,
Remzi Press, 1989, p. 13)
It was by means of this faith, despite losing tens of thousands of
martyrs, that the Turkish Army was able to fight so heroically at
Gallipoli without the slightest uncertainty or wavering.
The whole world is interested in the Ottoman model
A documentary on the Ottomans produced by the world-famous History
Channel was broadcast in the USA in early 2007. The documentary
provided alengthy description of the reigns of sultans Mehmet the
Conqueror, Selim the Stern and Suleyman the Magnificent.
It emphasized how the Ottoman Empire, described as the protector of
truth and justice, was open to all faiths and beliefs.
It also touched on the Ottoman policy of conquest and described how
this was not based on religious or ethnic principles. It also
praisedthe legal system drawn up in the reign of Suleyman the
Magnificent. - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

Darwinists' latest desperate efforts to keep the Dino-bird deception alive

Darwinists have once again begun raising claims that have already been
answered in order to deny the enormous rout suffered by their
dino-bird claims. They have been in a terrible panic, especially in
recent days when evolution is going through its death throes, and have
set about looking for a series of new methods of deception for the
sake of propping Darwinism up. The latest instance ofthese concern a
dinosaur fossil discovered in China and that has recently been
reported in certain sections of the press. Darwinists are repeatingthe
same hollow myths and reiterating the errorthat the fossil in question
supposedly represents evidence for evolution.
Statements regarding the invalidity of the claim in question are as follows:
The fossil, known as Limusaurus inextricabilis , has short arms and
three-toed claws. Darwinist paleontologists, who maintain that the
fossil also has a small finger protrusion, are trying to herald this
as a fourth finger and, as always, to use this characteristic as a
tool of Darwinist propaganda. They claim that although "for some
reason" this life form HAD NO FEATHERS (which could not possibly have
existed anyway), because of this 1 cm bone in question it constitutes
a potential transition from 5-toed dinosaurs to 3-toed birds.
But this is a classic Darwinist deception.
As we have already made clear in many other instances, Darwinists are
experts when it comes to inventing speculation about different
structures in a fossil. They use an anatomical imperfection, a broken
bone or even a perfect organ in a fossilized life form as propaganda
tools for Darwinist accounts. It will be useful to recall the
Darwinist speculation about the Coelacanth as perhaps the most
striking example of this. All the conjecture about the fossil was
totally demolished as a result ofthe capture of a great many living
Coelacanths .Darwinists chose to retreat into a profound silence in
the face of thishumiliation, as with all Darwinist deceptions that are
proved to be frauds. (You can access detailed information about the
Coelacanth here .)
Darwinists are now provocatively attempting to use a single bone
protrusion in a dinosaur fossil of which we can never examine living
specimens as a vehicle for Darwinist propaganda. The fact is, however,
that Limusaurus inextricabilis is a flawless terrestrial life form
with a perfect anatomy. It exhibits no transitional form
characteristics. All its limbs and structures are flawless. As we have
many times made clear, if Darwinists want to produce intermediate
fossil evidence, then the life forms they produce must be similar to
these:
As living things turned, according to Darwinism, into ever more
imaginary forms, anatomical abnormalities must havearisen. There must
have been billions of such monstrous life forms, and we should keep
digging up their fossil remains everywhere. Butsince these do not
exist, Darwinists despairingly take a bone in a fossil, reshape it and
call it transitional fossil. Yet the fossils they propose all belong
to perfect, immaculate and flawless life forms.
As we have also clarified before, there is no question of a transition
between terrestrial life forms and birds. The anatomic structures of
terrestrial life forms and birds are completely different and any
change in this perfect anatomical harmony canonly prove fatal. The
claim regarding the origin of birds that Darwinists have been making
for so many years has had new frauds added onto it in the example of
Limusaurus inextricabilis . Darwinists have fantastically attempted to
equate the fossil with a bird, decided that the dinosaur should have
feathers and then resorted to new tactics when no such thing was
encountered in the fossilin question. When no feathers were found,
they had no compunction about using such expressions as "the
dinosaur's body MAY HAVE BEEN covered in feathers." The aim here is to
launch a dinosaur that lived millions of years in the past as a
transitional fossil using speculation and sophistry. (It also needs to
be made clear at this point that the idea of the " feathered dinosaur
" that Darwinists have broughtup so many times beforeis totally
fantastical. It has been shown that thestructures described as
feathers are completely different and that the fossils so heralded are
false .)
The recent discovery of other findings that totally demolish all
claims regarding the passage from dinosaurs to birds, the realization
that dinosaurs had a totally different pelvic bone structure to that
ofbirds, the bone being totally unsuited to flight, and that their
totally different femur bones in particular made any such transition
completely impossible utterly repudiate the Darwinist claim on the
subject. In addition, this has been openly admitted by Darwinist
scientists. This perfectly preserved fossil has been deliberately
brought up in an attempt to neutralize this huge Darwinist collapse
admitted even by Darwinists themselvesand with the aim of making
people to forget this defeat. The fact is, however, that Darwinist
frauds just make Darwinists more ridiculous with every passing day.
But Darwinists have a problem with admitting this fact.
The Limusaurus inextricabilis fraud has taken its place as yet another
embarrassment in the history of Darwinism. Similar Darwinist
falsehoods arestill published in various popular publications by the
Darwinist dictatorship that is unwilling to accept defeat. But through
the works of Harun Yahya the global rout of Darwinism has been made
plain for all to see.Allah created the universe and all the living
things in it within a perfect harmony and brings each one into being
separately. Allah shows, with His glorious works and evidence, that
chance can play no role in the creation of life. Our advice to
Darwinists is that they accept the fact of Creation, which is well
known to everyone else, and stop making claims that have already been
rebutted. - - ▓███▓ Translator:-> http://translate.google.com/m/

Why is anti-Darwinist activity soimportant?

Darwinism espouses the lie that the perfect equilibrium in the
universe and life came into being by chance and also constitutes the
backbone of materialism. This perverted belief teaches people that
they are a rather more advanced species of animal, instead of an
entity witha soul. Darwinist ideology foresees relations between
people being ruthless, selfish and based on conflict, rather than
being founded on love and compassion. Conflicttherefore inevitably
prevails in those places where the ideological structure of Darwinism
predominates. Because this dangerous ideology regards feelings such as
compassion, love, affection and respect as obstacles that slow down
the so-called process of evolution andthat need to be eliminated.
Why Is Darwinism a Danger?
Darwinism is the common basis for all movements that are incompatible
with the Qur'an. War, slaughter, anarchy and terror afflicted the
whole world with the spread ofDarwinism in the 20th century in
particularly. Societies taught with Darwinist rituals were encouraged
in the direction of irreligion, immorality, anarchy and violence, and
individualslacking sufficient education were literally turned into
crime machines . People who, on the basis of that indoctrination,
regardedother peoples as inferiorto them in the supposed process of
evolution used the savage laws of nature and ruthlessness to crush
others.
The Error of Regarding the Struggle against Darwinism as Unimportant
It is unacceptable to regard this historic fraud, which has been
propped up for ideological reasons despite having been scientifically
refuted, as harmless or to disregard the danger it poses. This
illogical ideology, whosebeginnings go back to the Sumerians, consists
of a failed theory that attempts to account for the appearance of life
inmaterialist terms. This heretical pagan religion, whose true aim is
to deny the existence of a Creator, is a trigger that caused the blood
of innocent people to be spilled, especially in the 20th century, by
trying to turn societies away from belief in Allah and indoctrinating
them with the idea they have no purpose. This bloody consequence of
Darwinist ideology can still be felt today, as the acts of terror and
violence perpetrated across the world are nourished by this heretical
theory.
Darwinism Is Officially Supported by Many States
The struggle against Darwinism is therefore of vital importance for
the establishment of social peace and for the moral values of the
Qur'an to rule the world. Most of the states of the world have adopted
Darwinism as an official ideology and espouse this heretical thesis by
various means. Darwinisteducation is supported by official state
institutions and a false education that rebels against belief in Allah
is provided. Besides this ideology encouraging irreligion, it is also
forbidden to talk about belief in Allah at schools. Professors who do
not espouse Darwinism are removed from their posts forthwith and find
themselves unable to take up posts in just about any institutions. The
whole world lies under the yoke of the Darwinist dictatorship. Itis
almost impossible for someone who does not support the theory of
evolution to assume the name of scientist. Professors select
Darwinists and materialists just like themselves as their assistants,
but never appoint non-Darwinists, and even attempt to remove them from
universities entirely.
But some people fail to appreciate the importance of anti-Darwinist
activities and do not take the work carried out in this field
sufficiently seriously. These circles fall into the error of thinking
of Darwinist as a harmless scientific theory as a result of being
misinformed on the subject. In doing so, these people have ignored the
perils of allowing Darwinist ideologies to spread by considering it
impossiblefor a communist, materialist and irreligious system to
emerge in lands where belief in Allah and Islam are widespread. But
this is a huge mistake. The destruction suffered by those peoples who
fell into that error in the past once again emphasized the importance
of anti-Darwinist and anti-materialist activities.
Countries Suffered Their Darkest and Bloodiest Times under the
Influence of Darwinist Ideology
For example, the Ba'ath Party that organized itself in countries such
asJordan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Yemen when this historic fraud began
being adopted as an ideology among their people led to the formation
of a communist system in those countries . Higher academic, political,
military and civil service echelons were trained by dyed in the wool
Stalinist party members. The smallest organs of the Ba'ath Party to
the very largest all had a Leninist structure. Saddam Hussein was a
leading Ba'ath Party militant. As a party member he received a
military education basedon Darwinism and materialism. He seized power
in Iraq following an internal party coup. The slaughter that followed
continued right down to the present day, even after the occupation of
Iraq. When we look at the beginning of this bloodyperiod, we see that
its principal cause was Darwinist-materialist-communist propaganda,
that these heretical ideologies were regarded as unobjectionable and
that no effective anti-Darwinist propaganda was conducted. This
perilous ideology put down cunning roots in society and gradually
caused enormous bloodshed in Iraq by gradually transforming the
education system.
Another of the communist leaders of the Ba'ath Party was Hafiz Assad,
who spilled the blood of many Muslims in Syria. Assad had also
received a Darwinist-materialist education in the Soviet Union, and
internal conflicts began manifesting themselves immediately after he
came to power in the country. Using a number of doubtful
assassinationattempts as a pretext, the Syrian Secret Service
initiated operations against Muslims in the country in 1982. It has
been estimated that 150,000-200,000 civilianswere slaughtered in these
operations, carriedout at Assad's command. Abdullah Ocalan and the PKK
also received logistical support from the country during Assad's rule.
However, a huge change took place in Syria following Hafiz Assad's
death when power was assumed by his son, Bashar Assad. Syria
established a more moderate, democratic and modern environment,
constructed closer and better links with Turkey, and began following a
policy of support for the Turkish-Islamic Union and aiming at friendly
relations with all the countries in the region.
Rules under the influence of Darwinist ideologies have always brought
their countries exactly the same things: anarchy, disorder and
slaughter. One example of this is Egypt. In 1952, Jamal Abdul Nasser
staged a coup, overthrowing King Farouk and ruling the country for the
next 20 years. A Darwinist-Stalinist nationalism known as Nasserism
developed in the country. Intense pressure was inflicted onthe Muslim
public in his time, and thousands of Muslim scholars were tortured and
executed.
Colonialist Activities Initiated Under the Influence of Darwinism
The effort to equate Darwinist-materialist ideology with civilization
is a complete deception. With the colonialist activities theycommenced
in the light of this deception, western nations inflicteddisasters on
the peoples of many countries by treating them like animals.
Colonialists regard themselves as superior to those whom they
colonize. They do not regard the colonizedas having any right to exist
at all. Tens of states colonized through that perspective were
oppressed for many years and weakened by civil conflicts. The effects
of this perverted perspective still persist in the countries concerned
today, and civil conflicts are still encouraged by the supporters of
Darwinism.
As can be seen from these examples, it is of crucial importance for
the dangerous aspect of Darwinist-materialist ideology to be made
clear and for the public to be made aware of it. It is the most
perilous corruption for the fraud of evolution to be made part of
education as if it were a scientific theory. Under the influence of
Darwinist ideology, societies with no belief in Allah that imagine
themselves to be aimless and with no responsibilities, have grown up
over the last 150 years. As the greatest pagan religion of the last
150 years, Darwinism has been a hindrance to the spread of belief in
Allah. No sincere believer can therefore turn a blind eye to the
activities of this pagan religion. What needs to be done is to
describe the heretical nature of Darwinist rituals and eliminate the
heretical faith that is Darwinism.
The Prophets Destroyed the Idols Raised in Opposition to Belief in Allah
When we look at world history, we see that none of the prophets ever
turned a blind eye to the idols of their communities. For instance,
the Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) smashed his people's idols.
Allah describes this as follows in the Qur'an:
He broke them in pieces, except for the biggest one, so that they would
have it to consult! They said, 'Who has done this to our deities? …
They said, 'Did you do this to our deities, Abraham?' He said, 'No,
this one, thebiggest of them, did it. Ask them if they are ableto
speak!' They consulted among themselves and said, 'It is you
yourselves who are wrongdoers.' But then they relapsed back into their
unbelief: 'You know full well these idols cannot talk.' He said, 'Do
you then worship, instead of Allah, what cannot help or harm you in
any way?Shame on you and what you worship besides Allah! Will you not
use your intellect?' (Surat al-Anbiya', 58-67)
As can be seen from the above verses, the Prophet Abraham (pbuh)did
not just smash the idols. He also selected a rationalistic means of
doing so by which people would realize their idols had no power. By
stirring their consciences, he forced the people to think in a
direction they had perhaps never considered before.
In the same way, the Prophet Moses (pbuh) destroyed the idols of his
people who had returned to their old heretical beliefs during his
absence. The ProphetMoses (pbuh) burned theidol, a statue of a calf,
his people had made, shattered it and then cast it into the sea, The
Prophet Moses (pbuh) took these sound precautions in order that his
people should not return to worshipingidols. Allah reveals this
asfollows in the Qur'an:
He said, 'What do you think you were doing, Samaritan?' He said, 'I
saw what they did not see. So I gathered up a handful from the
Messenger's footprints and threw it in. That is what my inner self
urged me to do.' He said,… Look at your god to which you devoted so
much time. We will burn it up and then scatter it as dust into the
sea. Yourgod is Allah alone, there is no god but Him. He encompasses
all things in His knowledge.' (Surah Ta Ha, 95-98)
Our Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) also warned his
people against idols and told them they had no power at all. Almighty
Allah describes this in these verses of the Qur'an:
Have you really considered al-Lat and al-'Uzza and Manat, the third,
the other one? … They are nothing but names which you yourselves have
given, you and your forefathers. Allah has sent down no authority for
them. They are following nothing but conjecture and what their own
selves desire. And that when guidancehas reached them from their Lord!
(Surat al-Najm, 19-23)
The above verses show that what a believer must do is to fully and
irrevocably eliminate those things that society adopts as idols. The
idol that represents the basis of the danger that is irreligion today
is Darwinist-materialist ideology. Remaining silent in the face of and
disregarding this bloodyideology has always had evil consequences. It
must not be forgotten that shutting one's eyes in the dark does not do
away with the darkness. Darkness does not disappear just by one
thinking it does not exist. One has to turn thelight on to eliminate
the darkness. The light that needs to be turned on today is the
intellectual struggle against Darwinism and materialism.
The theory of evolution has now been scientifically and intellectually
eliminated by means of Adnan Oktar's anti-materialist and
anti-Darwinist activities of the last 20 years. People in a great many
countries, especially Turkey, have now realized they are dealing with
a great deception. The level of believers has risen all over the
world, and through this Islam has enjoyed a rapid rise across the
world. The moment that the scourge inflicted by Darwinism over the
last 150 years is lifted, when the beauties bestowed by belief in
Allah rule theworld, a new age will begin. This is the Golden Age,
when Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will appear and when people see the coming of
the Prophet Jesus (pbuh). It is therefore unacceptable for Muslims to
remain silent in the face of this dangerous ideology. What every
Muslim must do is to call on people to abide by the moral values of
the Qur'an by telling them of the dark face of Darwinism.

Fathwa, - Making up prayer and fasting because of bleeding that accompanies abortion

Question
I experienced miscarriage in the first month of pregnancy during
Ramadhaan but I did not realize the reasonbehind the bleeding so I
considered it menstruation. Therefore, I abstained from fasting and
offering the prayer for twelve days. Afterwards the doctor informed me
that it was a miscarriage, not menstruation, so how can I make up the
prayer? Can I make up one obligatory prayer with the same one on a
daily basis?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify
that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad
, is His Slave and Messenger.
If the miscarriage occurred before the creation of the fetus, it is
considered as merely blood whose emergence implies no refrainment from
fasting or offering prayer. Therefore, a woman who refrained from
fasting and offeringprayer because of bleeding that accompanied a
miscarriage during the first month of pregnancy is obliged to make up
fasting and prayers. Moreover, anyone who isobliged to make up prayer
must make it up once he remembers or after the absence of
obstructions. She has to make up all the missed prayers at once if
possible. Otherwise she may make them according to her ability, either
with other obligatory prayers or singled out.

Fathwa, - A praying person doing prostration of Quran recitation unlike his Imaam

Question
During the prayer, the Imaam recited a verse of prostration and then
bowed while a group of people prostrated beforehim. Some of them
corrected his mistake so he joined the Imaam. However, some of them
continued to prostrate until the Imaam finished bowing and then they
completed offering the prayer. What is the rulingconcerning these two
groups?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify
that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad
, is His Slave and Messenger.
The prayer of those who corrected their mistake and joined the Imaam
is valid as their mistake wasbecause of an acceptable excuse. As for
those who continued to prostrate until the Imaam finished bowing and
then they completed offering the prayer with him, they areof two
types: the first oneis of those who correctedtheir mistake and bowed
after their prostration and then they followed the Imaam and their
prayer is valid. The second type is those who did not bow after the
prostration of the recitation. They have to make up the Rak'ah as long
as they are still offering the prayer or if they have finished it.
However, in case of a long separation, they must re-offer the entire
prayer even if the due time ended because bowing is one of the pillars
of the prayer which neither forgetfulness nor ignorance justifies
abandoning nor does theImaam act on behalf of him regarding it.

Fathwa, - What counts is the prayertime of the town to which one travelled

Question
On January 13th at 10 pm, I traveled from an American town (in which
the prayer times are: Fajr 6:10 am, Shurooq 8:00 am and Ishaa' 6:40
pm, I reached my destination in Germany on the 14th at 12 pm and the
prayer times there were: Fajr 6:40 am Shurooq 8:10 amand Thuhr 12:30
pm. After finishing procedures, it was 1pm, so the plane departed
after Ishaa' and then arrived after Thuhr. Please note that the
journey took eight hours. How could I offer the Fajrprayer of the
January 14th? Taking into account that the time difference between the
two cities is six hours so that if it is 12 pm in the American town,
it will be 6 pm in the German one. May Allaah Reward you.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify
that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad
, is His Slave and Messenger.
The time for Fajr prayer for those travelling by plane starts with the
emergence of the real Fajr. The Fajr time of the destination city or
the one from which they departed does not count. So, if the Fajr time
startedwhile they are in the plane, then they are obliged to offer the
prayer. However, if they could reach their destination before the time
of Fajr ends (i.e. the sun rising), they should wait. But if they fear
that the time will end before they are dropped off, then they must
offer the prayer in the plane as according to what is possible.
Therefore, you did well ifyou offered the prayer inthe plane.
Otherwise, it isconsidered an aspect of negligence that implies
repentance and seeking forgiveness and then youmust make it up at
once.

How to teach our kids Tawheed

When we want to teach our kids Tawheed (i.e. Islamic monotheism)
should we have to read classical texts and books in this regard?
No, this is not needed in the earlystages of their lives because this
requires long hours of attentiveness and hard work, which is difficult
for children.
Later in life, one can do so when their level of comprehension allows
them to grasp what is being read and said to them. Initially, one can
convey what he wants in the form of relating stories of the companions
of the Prophet who gave precedence to their faith and to worshipping
Allaah over living in their homelands and amongst their families and
tribes, and highlight that this was because the companions realized
that the reason why Allaah created us was for the sole purpose of
worshipping Him.
One may resort to other means ofteaching them, such as:
Utilizing Quranic study circles:
In such a case the parent may stop at certain verses which address a
specific aspect of Tawheed and explain it. An example for this is the
verses addressing the story of Prophet 'Eesaa and that he was not
crucified as the Christians claim, but the parent must choose simple
phrases that are within the level of the child's understanding and
comprehension.
Relating stories of the Prophet and his companions and other heroes in Islam:
Children like hearing stories, and thus the parents should take
advantage of this interest in them. One should not simply relate the
story without highlighting certain matters and emphasizing on the
lessons one can extract from these stories.
Commenting on some events:
One can remind the children withthe massacre that took place to the
Muslims in Bosnia and the atrocities that are currently taking place
to the Muslims in Palestine, Iraq and other places and make it clear
for them that their suffering is because of their faith and because
they are Muslims. This will make the child sympathize with his fellow
Muslims.
Exploiting certain situations:
When the child is ill, the parent can instill in him the principle
that Allaah Alone is the One Who can cure and that medicine is buta
means and that it is Allaah Whomade it a cause to cure. Clarify that
Allaah is The Only One who can benefit or cause harm, and He is the
only One to seek refuge in to lift any harm. Parents should exploit
all other situationsto instill different principles of Tawheed.
Setting a good example:
A parent could be a means to instill certain values and basics
ofTawheed through his or her conduct and actions. For example, a
parent may praise a person in front of his children only because he is
a righteous one or a one who fights Jihaad. Likewise, a parent may
dispraise another person because he is a disbeliever.
This clarifies to the children one of the principles of faith, and
thatis love and hatred are both done for the sake of Allaah and not
because so and so person deprived us form a job or money that we
wanted. Parents should be careful in front of their children lest the
children adopt a bad habit, because it is the parents who have the
most effective influence on the children.
Correcting wrong concepts or words:
During the child's daily activities, they may utter or do something
Islamically wrong or contradicting to Tawheed and it is the role of
the parents to correct them. The child may swear by other than Allaah,
and itbecomes mandatory upon the parents to clarify that this is a
form of disbelief and associating with Allaah, and so forth.
A child may hear at school that Santa is a nice man who brings gifts
and nice things, then the parents must explain that this Santa is a
symbol for non-Muslims (namely the Christians) and that he is nothing
but a myth made up by them, and that the only One Who Has the power to
benefit or cause harm is Allaah Alone.
Likewise, if the child sees on TV that a certain character controls
the wind or the rain, the parents must make it clear that this is
association with Allaah and that these are qualities that are
exclusive to Allaah.
These were some suggestions of simple and important means andmethods
through which parents can clarify aspects and principles of Tawheed to
their children. - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

A Gleam on the Way

How effective was the first generation of the Ummah (nation) of Islam?
What is the importance of positivity in the life of a Muslim?
How has the Quran recorded this effectiveness?
These are important and serious questions about the value of
positivity and effectiveness and what they represented inthe life of
the youth who established the civilization of this Ummah, and how they
could be revived once again in the life of the youth of this
generation, given that a great deal ofgood lies in them. Let us start
with the Prophetic point of view on the pathof effectiveness and
warding off failure and negativity .
A Prophetic perspective on the path of effectiveness
" O Allaah! I seek refuge with You from (being given to) failure,
indolence, cowardice, (and from being sent back to) old geriatric
ageand niggardliness, and I seek refuge with You from the punishment
of the grave, and from the affliction of both life and death."
[Muslim]
These are luminous Prophetic words, filled with positivity and
carrying within their folds seeking refuge from negativity. This was
the Prophetic perspective. In fact, the life of Muhammad wasbut a
living example of that. The life of the Prophet Muhammad was the best
ideal of a human being, in whom all the attributes of positivity were
manifested and from whom all traces of negativity had been removed.
The Companions gathered around the pure spring of the noble attributes
of Al-Mustafa and at the beginning of the Da'wah (call to Islam. The
majority of whom were young men, imbibing positivity, power and
effectiveness, translating them into words and deeds in the world, and
spreading them among those surrounding them, until they were able to
establish an edifice of civilization of strong foundations and great
power .
Armed with positivity, the youth of the Ummah set out in the different
parts of the land of their Lord, building and constructing. They gave
life to the land with strong arms of endeavor, and promulgated
effectiveness in the hearts, which had long been possessed by
negativity, thus, illuminating the universe with pleasure and delight
.
Thus, the Islamic Ummah (nation), at the hands of its youth, presented
to humanity the most beautiful gifts in all fields. The scientists of
Islam presented to humankind the principlesof the experimental
scientific method based on practical experiment and scientific proof
in order to reach a scientificfact, unlike the Greek philosophical
method that is based on philosophy and theoretical postulates. Thus,
it is the Muslims who presented to the entire world the basis of the
modern renaissance, on which the European renaissance depended later
on. [Hayaat An-Noor: Fareed Mannaa' p28]
This took place due to the fact that the youth of this Ummah were
brought up on positivity, according to which each of them sought areas
of work where he was mosteffective without waitingfor it to come to
him; making events happen, and not waiting for events to take place on
their own. None of them would let a day pass untilhe had done an act
pertaining to the religionor the world, which he liked to see on the
Day ofJudgment. This is reported by one of the positive youths of this
Ummah, 'Abdullaah ibn Mas'ood who said, "I hate to see a man without
work; neither working for this world nor for the Hereafter." [Hilyat
Al-Awliyaa': Abu Nu'aym]
However, when we moved away, step by step, from that concept of
positivity, the youths of our Ummah deviated, owing to a violent wind
of negativity, which lulled most of them into asense of complacence
and subsequently, ruinedthem. It caused the disease of failure and
indolence to spread among them, and consequently, we started hearing
oft-repeated words that imply the aforesaid mental state such as: "I
cannot", "I am a failure", "It is impossible [to achieve], this is the
reality", and so on .
A concrete reality
In order to come closer tothe issue of positivity, wehave to consider
the reality. A man might be intelligent and possess high
qualifications in the field of science, but, at the same time, he
might not be effective. This is because he has been brought up in a
culture which hinders him from any great achievement unless he gets
rid of any traces of negativity .
There are communities characterized by individualism, selfishness and
envy, and there are diseases which decay the soul, like haughtiness
and arrogance. There arealso communities whose people have ideas which
encourage idleness, like those who read the Hadeeths (narrations) of
the Messenger of Allaah about the future afflictions and battles and
misunderstand them, and thus sit at home, anddo nothing to support
Islam, under the pretext that things are deteriorating, and it is
useless to work, and so on .
No doubt, such examples and others, are found in reality. However, we
should not continue to curse the darkness and loathe reality – in
particular the reality of today's Muslim youth thatis typically
characterized by negativity -- and then satisfy ourselves with phrases
of sorrow and regret. On the contrary, we should talk about
positivity, its concept andimportance, perchance we may light up the
candles of effectiveness in the hearts of the youth .
The concept of positivity
First of all, we could define positivity as a Muslim's personal
movement, resulting from the sentient believing heart to change and
reform the reality in conformity withthe ordinances of Allaah The
Almighty .
We may get more acquainted with effectiveness if we say that it is the
best form of productivity that is basedon perseverance and regularity
of actions, as confirmed by the description given by Umm Salamah of
the deeds of the Messenger of Allaah : "The dearestof deeds to the
Messenger of Allaah is that which a servant doesregularly, no matter
how little it might be." [Al-Albaani: Saheeh [
The same description is given by 'Aa'ishah of the deeds of the
Messenger of Allaah when she said, "He used to do any deed regularly
."
Positivity in the Quran
In order to clearly perceive the concept of positivity in the Quran,
it is sufficient to recite the following short Soorah (in which Allaah
The Almighty Says what means): {By time, indeed, mankind is in loss,
Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and
advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.}
[Quran 103:1-3 [
It shows that man is doomed to loss unless he has four
characteristics, which in fact are the characteristics of the positive
Muslim personality. According to As-Sa'di
" Allaah The Almighty enjoined loss upon everyone unless he has four
characteristics:
1 . To have faith in all things which Allaah The Almighty commanded to
believe in. Faith is not complete without knowledge, which is an
integral branch of faith .
2 . The righteous deed includes all good works, hidden or apparent,
pertinent to the right of Allaah The Almighty or the right of His
servants, obligatory or recommended .
3 . To advise each other toadhere to the truth -- which is faith and
righteous deeds. In otherwords, they should advise and encourage each
other to do good .
4 . To advise each other topatience in the obedience of Allaah The
Almighty, and abstention from the sins forbidden by Allaah The
Almighty, and accept the decrees ofAllaah The Almighty even if one
finds them painful .
With the first two, man perfects himself, and with the other two, he
perfects others. By having these four characteristics, man becomes
safe from loss, and obtains great profit."[Tayseer Al-Kareem:
'Abd-Ar-Rahmaan ibn Naasir As-Sa'di: 1:934]
At this point, after talkingabout the importance of positivity, we
have to pause so that each of us asks himself: Am I really positive?
Do I have a positive attitude in my life? Do I feel that I am really
effective in life, or do I live among negative people? Also ask
yourself:Positivity is to seek areas of work and not to sit waiting
for them: Am I really like this?
Positive people exert an influence on events, unlike the negative ones
who wait to see what events occur. Am I then from those who make
events happen or those who wait for them to happen?
This is a pause, not only for blame, but also for assessment and
introspection, after which each of us should wake up to seek his roles
in life, and see how he can efficiently interact with them, and how he
can best utilize this life. No doubt, we, as Muslim youth, have
several missions to carry out in this world. Doing this would be
impossible unless each of us becomes truly positive and effective in
our sphere of activity . - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

India: Malnutrition becomes 'national shame'

Geeta, a 27-year-old mother of three, living on the outskirts of the
national capital region looks vacant at the queries of malnourishment.
For her, gathering cereals for the two square meals of her family is a
luxury. Her four-year-old daughter, the youngest of her children,
looks too tiny for her age - about whichGeeta seems blissfully
unaware. Fighting hunger is their struggle; malnourishment is alien.
The cause and effect of millions of Geetas was highlighted by a recent
report on India's malnourished populations.
This was a well-known fact. Until about two decades ago, India ranked
among the poorest countries of the world. The disparity is glaring now
because India boasts of the fastestnumber of growing"dollar
millionaires".
A study that has just beenreleased by the prime minister of India,
Manmohan Singh, revealsthat 42 per cent of Indianchildren are
suffering from malnutrition, whichmanifests directly from abject
poverty. This is probably the biggest problem that the largest
democracy, and the second fastest growing economy in the world, faces
today.
One of the important parameters of the burgeoning Indian economy is
that it hosts the world's largest youth population under 25. That
growth story is facing the challenge of becoming stunted if the
country does not address this issue on time. The Indian cabinet has
taken the first step, by approving the Food Security Bill. But they
have miles to go and millions of dollars to spend before they can
ensure healthy future generations.
Report on malnourishment
The report, based on a survey conducted by the Naandi Foundation, has
been made at the insistence of the Citizens' Alliance against
Malnutrition which comprises young parliamentarians, artists,
directors, social activists and policymakers. The HUNGaMA (in Hindi,
hungama is a "stir" or"ruckus") Report registers shaming figures.
Forty-two per cent of children under five are underweight and 59 per
cent have stunted growth.
The surveyors reached more than 73,000 households in 112 districts
across nine states, wherein 74,020 mothers shared their stories and
109,093 children stepped onto weighing machines for the survey.
Children from householdsidentifying as Muslim or belonging to
"Backward Castes or Tribes" generally have worse nutrition.
In the districts in focus, fewer than 7.6 per cent of mothers had
heard theword for "malnutrition" in their regional language.
When asked why they did not give their children more non-cerealfoods,
93.7 per cent mothers said they did notdo so because non-cerealfoods
were expensive.
The report highlights the linkages between education and health,
sanitation and hygiene, drinking water and nutrition.
Food security bill
The prime minister of India was the first to react to the
report."There are nearly 160 million children in the country below the
age ofsix years," he said. "The problem of malnutrition is a matter of
national shame. Despite impressive growth in ourGDP, the level of
under-nutrition in the country isunacceptably high."
In the words of Nobel laureate and welfare economist Dr Amartya Sen:
"Famines are very easy to publicize, people dying of hunger is one
thing. But people being underweight, stunted, their lifestyle, their
probability of survival being diminished, all thatis not so visible.
My worryis the sentiment of country gets upset when it (GDP growth
rate) goesfrom eight per cent to seven per cent. The sentiment of
India doesn't get affected by the higher number of under-nourished
children than anywhere else. I think the food security bill, despite
its faulty design, is a good move in this direction - that we care
about the lives of Indians."
Jay Panda is a member ofparliament with Biju Janata Dal, the ruling
party in the eastern state of Orissa. He is also a member of the
alliance that assembled the report, and told Al Jazeera: "The fact is
that, while India has been progressing quite a lot inthe last 20
years, the fight against malnutrition has made little progress. So we
need to prioritize it."
Fifty per cent of Indian women are anemic and 836m people live under
less than Rs20 (38 US cents) a day. The manifesto of the ruling
Congress party promised the enactment of a "rightto food" act, if
their alliance, the United Progressive Alliance (UPA), was voted back
to power. In light of these figures, the food security bill, cleared
by the IndianCabinet, is a pro-poor legislation that would target the
hungry and malnourished of India. The bill would guarantee cut-price
grain to 63.5 per cent of India's 1.2bn people.
Biraj Patnaik, the principal adviser on the right to food to the
Supreme Court Commissioners, said: "It's a moral imperative."
Subsidy burden
However, this piece of legislature also faces strident resistance - as
critics say the food security bill would add asmuch as $7.5bn to
India's subsidy burden.
Article 25 of the UniversalDeclaration of Human Rights, adopted by all
United Nations member states in 1948, lists the right to food among a
state's obligations. Article21 of the Indian constitution, which
provides a fundamental right to life and personal liberty, has been
repeatedly interpreted by the Indian Supreme Court as enshrining
within it the right to food. Article 47 of the Indian constitution
obliges the Indian state to raise the standard of nutrition of its
people.
The most recent round ofthe National Family Health Survey in 2006
confirmed that the child malnutrition rate in Indiais almost double
that of sub-Saharan Africa.
As Dr Sen points out, malnutrition may not be a screaming crisis, but
if left unattended, it has the ability to cause damage of unlimited
magnitude. A new law, subsidy, focus and collective consciousness may
be required to deal with it.
Geeta may not have heard of the bill, but if the will of the
legislature finally asserts it, millions might be saved the pangsof
hunger.

Dought & Clear, - Praised Manners, - The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and the establishment of the Islamic society .

How and with degree of success was muhammed(s.a.w)able to establish a
stable community in medinah 632ce.
Praise be to Allaah.
Undoubtedly the society that was established by the Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him) in Madeenah was an example of a
stable and secure society. That was manifestly apparent from the
moment the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) first
set foot in Madeenah and stated to form the Islamic state. The security
and stabilityof this society were due to a number of reasons and
factors, including the following:
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) built the
mosque in Madeenah as soon as he arrived there, which helped to
establish a focal point to which people could turn when calamities
struck, and a place where the Muslims could gather to meet one another
and find out about one another, so they could find out who was sick
and go to visit them, attend the funerals of those who died, help
their poor and arrange marriages for those whowere single.
These are some of the ahaadeeth concerning that:
It was narrated from Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him)
that when the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be
upon him) came to Madeenah, he ordered that the mosqueshould be built,
and he said, "O Banu Najjaar, name me a price for this garden of
yours." They said, "No by Allaah, we will not seek its price except
from Allaah."
(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2622; Muslim, 524)
It was narrated that al-Bara' ibn 'Aazib said: "[The verse] 'and do
not aim at that which is bad to spend from it' [al-Baqarah 2:267 –
interpretation of the meaning] was revealed concerning us Ansaar. We
used to own date palm trees. A man wouldbring (the harvest) from his
date palms, whether it was a little or a lot. A man would bring one or
two bunches of dates and hang them in the mosque. Ahl al-Suffah – or
according to a report narrated by Ibn Maajah, the poor among the
Muhaajireen – had no food, so if one of them got hungry he would come
and strike the bunch with his stick, andripe and unripe dates would
fall, and he wouldeat them. But there weresome uncharitable people who
would bringa bunch of dates that contained rotten or dried-up dates,
or a bunch that was damaged, and hang it up. Then Allaah revealed the
words (interpretation of the meaning):
"O you who believe! Spend of the good things which you have (legally)
earned, and of that which We have produced from the earthfor you, and
do not aim at that which is bad to spend from it, (though) you would
not accept it save if you close your eyes and tolerate therein"
[al-Baqarah 2:267]
He said: if any one of you were to be given something like they gave,
he would not accept it unless he did sowith his eyes closed or out of
shyness. He said, after that one of us would bring the best dates that
he had.
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2987; Ibn Maajah, 1822. Classed as saheeh by
al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi, 2389.
Secondly:
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) established
brotherhood between the Muhaajireen (the Emigrants who had come from
Makkah) and the Ansaar (helpers, the Muslims in Madeenah). This action
strengthenedthe bonds between the members of the Madeenan society in a
manner previously unheard of. The Prophet (peace and blessings of
Allaah be upon him) established bonds of brotherhood between non-Arabs
and Arabs, between free men and former slaves, between people of
Quraysh and members of other tribes. So the society became one entity,
after which itwas not surprising that an Ansaari would ask a Muhaajir
to take half of his wealth, or an Ansaariwould offer to divorce one of
his wives so that a Muhaajir could marry her, or a Muhaajir
wouldinherit from an Ansaari, because of the strength of the bonds
between them. Then inheritance between them was abrogated by the verse
on inheritance, but the Ansaar were encouragedto bequeath something to
them. This was an exemplary society.
There follow some of theahaadeeth concerning that:
1 – It was narrated that 'Abd al-Rahmaan ibn 'Awf (may Allaah be
pleased with him) said: When we came to Madeenah, the Messenger of
Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) established bonds
of brotherhood between me and Sa'd ibn al-Rabee'. Sa'd ibn al-Rabee'
said: "I am the wealthiest of the Ansaar,so I will give you half
mywealth, and see which ofmy wives you would prefer, I will divorce
her for you, and when she becomes permissible youcan marry her." 'Abd
al-Rahmaan said to him, "I do not need that. Is there a marketplace
where people trade?" Hesaid, "The marketplace of Qaynuqaa'." So the
next day 'Abd al-Rahmaan went there and took some cottage cheese and
ghee, and hedid that the next day. It was not long before 'And
al-Rahmaan came with traces of yellow (perfume) on him. The Messenger
of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, "Have you
gotten married?" He said, "Yes?"He said, "To whom?" He said, "A woman
from among the Ansaar." He said, "How much was themahr?" He said, "A
gold piece equal in weight to a date stone (or a date stone of gold)."
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to him,
"Give a wedding feast (waleemah), even if withone sheep."
Narrated by al-Bukhaari,1943.
2 – It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him)
that when the Muhaajireen came to Madeenah, a Muhaajir would inherit
from an Ansaari to the exclusion of the Ansaari's own relatives,
because of the bonds of brotherhood that the Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him) had established between them. When
the verse "And to everyone, We have appointed heirs" [al-Nisa' 4:33 –
interpretation of the meaning] was revealed, that was abrogated.
Andthe phrase "To those also with whom you have made a pledge
(brotherhood)" [al-Nisa' 4:33 – interpretation of the meaning] has to
do with the covenant of helping, supporting and advising one another.
Sothe rights of inheritance no longer apply, but they may bequeath to
one another.
Narrated by al-Bukhaari,2170.
Thirdly:
Zakaah was prescribed in the second year of theHijrah, which made the
rich and poor more equal and increased the coherence of the Madeenan
society, and the bonds of brotherhood for the sake of Allaah became
stronger than before. Indeed, the matter went further than zakaah to
include voluntary charity.
It was narrated that Anasibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him)
said: Abu Talhah was thewealthiest of the Ansaar of Madeenah in terms
of palm trees, and the dearest of his wealth to him was (the garden
of) Bayraha', which was opposite the mosque. The Messenger of Allaah
(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to enter it and drink
from good water that was to be found there. Anas said: When the verse
"By no means shall you attain Al-Birr (piety, righteousness — here it
means Allaah's reward, i.e. Paradise), unless you spend (in Allaah's
Cause) of that which you love" [Aal- Imraan 3:92 – interpretation of
the meaning] was revealed, Abu Talhah got up and went to the Messenger
of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said, "O
Messenger of Allaah, Allaah says 'By no means shall you attain Al-Birr
(piety, righteousness — here it means Allaah's reward, i.e. Paradise),
unless you spend (in Allaah's Cause) of that which you love' and the
dearest of my wealth to me is Bayraha'. (I give it in) charity for the
sake of Allaah, hoping to earnits reward with Allaah, so dispose of
it, O Messenger of Allaah, as Allaah shows you." The Messenger of
Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, "Well done,
that is a profitable deal, that is a profitable deal. I have heard
what you said andI think that you should distribute it among your
relatives." Abu Talhah said, "I shall do that, O Messenger of Allaah,"
and he distributed it among his relatives and the sons of his paternal
uncles.
Narrated by al-Bukhaari,1392; Muslim, 998
So the signs of harmony appeared among the Muslims in Madeenah, and
the Muhaajireen recognized the rights that their Ansaar brothers had
over them. There are a number of ahaadeeth concerning that, including
the following:
It was narrated that Anas said: When the Prophet (peace and blessings
of Allaah be upon him) came to Madeenah, the Muhaajireen came to him
and said, "O Messenger of Allaah, we have never seen any people more
generous when they have the means and more helpful when they have
little than the people among whom we have settled. They have looked
after us and they have let us join them and share in all their happy
occasions, to such an extent that we are afraidthat they will take all
thereward. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
said, "Not so long as you pray for them and praisethem."
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2487; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in
Saheeh al-Tirmidhi, 2020.
Allaah created loved between the hearts of the people of Madeenah, and
love for the sake of Allaah was one of the symbols of the people that
Allaah enjoined upon them and made it one of the signs of perfect
faith.
It was narrated from Anas (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "None ofyou
truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for
himself."
Narrated by al-Bukhaari,13; Muslim, 45.
It was narrated that al-Nu'maan ibn Basheer said: The Messenger of
Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The
believers, in their mutualmercy, love and compassion, are like a
(single) body; if one partof it feels pain, the rest of the body will
join it instaying awake and suffering fever."
Narrated by al-Bukhaari,5665; Muslim, 2586. - - ▓███▓

Dought & Clear, - Praised Manners, - His sister gave up her share of the inheritance then she regretted it.

My sister gave up her share of a store to me after our parents died,
but now she regrets it and she wants to changeher mind. Does she have
the right to do that?.
Praise be to Allaah.
The way in which we address this problem willbe based on an attitude
of kindness, generosity and chivalry, and on the basis of what we
would like to think of you, that you are generous, decent and of noble
character, because our great religion teaches usto be kind, uphold
ties of kinship and respond to good treatment in kind, because she is
yoursister who grew up with you and you share ties of kinship with
her, and she has great rights overyou with regard to looking after
her, managing her affairs and striving to make herhappy. So it is
better for you to be kind to her and give back what she gave up for
you, and to respond to her first act of kindness with one that is even
greater, and to let her off so that Allaah will let you off on the Day
of Resurrection.
It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace
and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Whoever agrees with a
Muslim to cancel atransaction, Allaah will forgive his sins on the Day
of Resurrection." Narrated by Abu Dawood (3460) and classed as saheeh
by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.
According to a version narrated in al-Sunan al-Kubra by al-Bayhaqi:
"Whoever agrees with one who regrets it to cancel the transaction,
Allaah will forgive his sins on the Day of Resurrection."
Ibn 'Abd al-Salaam said: Agreeing to cancel a transaction for someone
who regrets it is an act of kindness that is enjoined in the Qur'aan.
End quote, quoting fromal-Mannaawi in Fayd al-Qadeer (6/79).
Rather, we say to you: It would have been better for you to return to
yoursister what she had given to you as soon as you realized that she
regretted it, and you should not have forced her to say that to you in
words, so that she wouldnot feel embarrassed or awkward.
Ma'mar – who was one of the best of the Taabi'een – said:
One of the worst acts of kindness is when you force a person to ask
(for what he needs) when he feels shy beforeyou, so your act of
kindness will not make up for the pain of the shyness that he went
through. It would have been more appropriate for you to find out
aboutwhat your brother needed and send him what he needs, and not
force him to ask. End quote.
This is how it should be among siblings, for theirjoy is one and their
griefis one.
Always remember the great reward that you will have with Allaah if you
do what your sister wants and give back that which she regrets giving,
and relieve her distress, and continue to be kind to her and uphold
ties of kinship with her, especially sinceshe regrets giving it up
because she is in difficulty and is facing poverty. In that case you
should offer her help and give her that which will relieve her
hardship, and reward her for her initial giving up of her share to you.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): "Is there any reward for
good other than good?" [al-Rahmaan 55:60].
The reports quoted above were quoted from'Uluw al-Hammah by al-Sayyid
al-'Afaani (2/612-651, 5/288-302).
But if she initially gave itup because of shyness due to the fear of
blame in a society that mistreats women with regard to inheritance,
orfor fear that her brothers might sever tieswith her if they thought
that she was insisting onher rights, then in that case it is haraam
for you to consume that wealth, and it must be given back to her. The
fuqaha' have stated that whatever is taken due toshyness is haraam
wealth.
It says in al-Mawsoo'ah al-Fiqhiyyah (18/263):
The Shaafa'is and Hanbalis state that if wealth is taken due to
shyness, such as if he asks someone else for wealth in front of people
and he gives it tohim due only to shyness, or he gives it to him out
of shyness, and the recipient knows that thegiver only gave it to him
out of shyness, it does not become his propertyand it is not
permissible for him to dispose of it, even if the recipient did not
ask for it. What matters here is the knowledge that the one who gave
his wealth gave it out of shyness, not out of generosity and not for
something inreturn.
Hence if he joins people whilst they are eating, and they ask him to
eat with them, but he knowsthat it was only because they felt shy, it
is not permissible for him to eat their food. End quote.
To sum up: You should return to your sister thatwhich she gave up to
you, so as to preserve love between you and uphold the ties of
kinship.
We ask Allaah to compensate you with something better.
And Allaah knows best. - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

Praised Manners, - Helping an old woman inher home .

If a old woman has converted to islam, is it permisseble for a young
muslim man to go to her home, because he wantsto help her in cleaning
her home and washing her clothes, cooking andso on? Is it allowed to
goto her to teach her Islam at her own home?.
Praise be to Allaah.
Firstly:
We must note that Islam forbids entering upon non-mahram women. The
evidence for that is as follows:
It was narrated from 'Uqbah ibn 'Aamir (may Allaah be pleased with
him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be
upon him) said: "Bewareof entering upon women." A man from among the
Ansaar said, "O Messenger of Allaah, what do you think of thein-law?'
He said, "The in-law is death."
(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 4934; Muslim, 2172)
The in-law refers to relatives of the husband who are not mahrams for the wife.
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him)
heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: "No
man should be alone with a (non-mahram) woman and (a woman) should not
travel except with a mahram."
(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2844; Muslim, 1341).
Secondly:
The Shaytaan may make a woman, even if she is old, appear attractive
in the eyes of a young man or old man, or vice versa, and may make him
gradually fall into immoral actions. There are many stories that
illustrate this.
Thirdly:
It is better for one of these young men to delegate his wife or sister
or daughter, or some of the Muslim sisters, to do this good deed. This
is better than a man serving her (the old lady). It is better and more
effective for women to deal with women than for men to do so,
especially when it comes to matters having to do with rulings that
affect women. But if there are women (who can do this), then it is
permissible (for a man) to serve her, on condition that he not be
alone with her. So one or more other brothers should go with you, and
that should also be subject to other shar'i conditions such as hijaab
etc., and you should only stay with her for as long as is necessary.
Fourthly:
May Allaah reward you greatly for this good deed. We ask Allaah to
make us and you and all the Muslims steadfast.
And Allaah knows best.

The Most Virtuous Day

Rasulullah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said: "Of all the days,
Friday is the most virtuous. It is on this day that the trumpet will
be blown. Send abundant durood upon me on Fridays because they are
presented to me on that day. " The Sahabah radiallahu anhum asked: "O
Rasulullah! How will they be presented to you when even your bones
will not be present after your death?" Rasulullah (Allah bless him &
give him peace) replied: "Allah Ta'ala has made the earth haraam upon
the prophets forever . " (Abu Dawud) - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

Bare Minimum

If we ponder upon our lives we will find that we do not suffice with
only the bare necessities required to make ends meet. We toil and
sweat to attain the luxuries as well.
From our house to our car, everything has to be up to date and well
ornamented. Despite our worldly existence being transitory we strive
to attain everything of the best quality.
Yet when it comes to deen, we suffice with theminimum required and do
only those actions which are necessary and compulsory.
We completely discard and abandon those desirable actions which help
beautify and fortify a person's Iman and spirituality.
