Allah has described in great detail the moral values, behavior and
logical deficiencies of the hypocrites who come alongside Muslims and
pretend to be one of them but who do all in their power to work
against believers and Islam as soon as they take their leave from
Muslims. One of the maincharacteristics of hypocrites revealed in the
Qur'an is the way they greatly admire theirown twisted logic and low
intelligence. In the same way that, despite all his stupidity and
immorality, satan soughtto tell Allah what to do (surely Allah is
beyond that), so hypocrites adopt the stupid and degraded behavior of
trying to put ideas into the minds of Allah's messengers and
believers. So much so that they imagine they know the religion
betterthan any prophet, think of things the prophet could not and that
the prophet had a distorted perception of the religion.
Claiming, at least in theirown eyes, to have a better understanding of
the religion and to live by it better, their true aim is in fact to
turn people away from the moral values of the religion. That is why
they make Islam, of which Allah says in the Qur'an "... He has ... not
placed any constraint upon you in the religion – the religion of your
forefather Abraham" (Surat al-Hajj, 78), and which is actually the
religion best suited to human nature, rational and honest one that is
soeasy to abide by, literallyimpossible to live by through making it
difficult by adding superstitions and ideas of what is lawful and
unlawful that they make up themselves. The hypocrite first gives shape
to Islam in his own mind and seeks a religion that is oppressive and
angry, full of prohibitions and blood shedding. The religion that
hypocrites desire is one that is inimical to human beings,
cleanliness, art, culture, love, affection, joy, reason, sincerity
andprofundity. They see no religion compatible withtheir own hypocrisy
and fanaticism when they look at the Qur'an and the hadiths, which is
why they start spreadingdistortions, as Allah reveals. They portray
many things not part of the religion as if they were a component of
it, while depicting virtues at the heart of the religion, such as
sincerity, reason, conscience, cleanliness, beauty and nobility as
incompatible with it. Prohibitions on what is unlawful really annoy
hypocrites. Since they imagine that the more prohibitions there are,
the more complex and impossible to live by it will be, they prohibit
everything in their own minds. So much so, that people become
incapable of doing anything at all. They thusimagine, in their own
eyes, that people will be unwilling to live by such a religion, in
which they are literally chained down, and will thus abandon the
faith.
The position of those who elect to change the religion of Allah by
making it difficult to liveby, in their own eyes, is described as
follows in verses:
Say: 'What do you think about the things Allah has sent down to you as
provision which you have then designated as lawful and unlawful?' Say:
'Has Allah given you authority to do this or are you inventing lies
against Allah?' (Surah Yunus, 59)
Do not say about what your lying tongues describe: 'This is lawful and
this is unlawful,' inventing lies against Allah. Those who invent lies
against Allah are not successful – (Surat an-Nahl, 116)
You who believe! do not make unlawful the goodthings Allah has made
lawful for you, and do not overstep the limits. Allah does not love
people who overstep thelimits. (Surat al-Ma'ida, 87)
However, we must not forget that while the hypocrite lies and makesthe
religion impossible to live by through making lawful things unlawful,
he never abides by these self-imposed rules himself. Because the
hypocrite's conception of religion is based solely on show. He prays
and fasts under conditions in which he thinks people will see him and
gives alms very reluctantly, but when he thinks he cannot be seenhe
performs none of these religious observances. When people are looking
he appears to comply with the religion he has invented, but when he
thinks he is out of sight he obeys none of these rules. Allah cites a
conversation in the Qur'an between the Prophet Moses (pbuh) and the
hypocrites from among his people, showing how pedantic, immoral they
are, and the ugliness and stupidity of their words:
And when Moses said to his people, 'Allah commands you to sacrifice a
cow,' they said, 'What! Are you making a mockery of us?' He said, 'I
seek refuge with Allah from being one of the ignorant!' (Surat
al-Baqara, 67)
The words, "Are you making a mockery of us?" used by the hypocrites is
an important example that shows how insolent theycan be in the face of
Allah, the religion and His immaculate messenger. Hypocrites are
always disobedient, rude and act in a way not compatible with respect
toward Allah's messengers and prophets, and their speech is always
rude and priggish.
They said, 'Ask your Lord to make it clear to us what it should be
like.' He said, 'He says it should be a cow, not old or virgin, but
somewhere between thetwo. So do as you have been told.' (Surat
al-Baqara, 68)
The base and impudent language of the hypocrites can again be seen in
this verse. In speaking the name of Allah, they do not use a language
that sincerely believes in and loves Himbut refer in a way that isnot
compatible with respect to "your Lord." There is no doubt that this
stems from them being unintelligent and lacking the power of
understanding.
They said, 'Ask your Lord to make it clear to us what colour it should
be.' He said, 'He says it should be a red cow, thecolour of sorrel, a
pleasure to all who look.'
They said, 'Ask your Lord to make it clear to us what it should be
like. Cows are all much the same to us. Then, if Allah wills, we will
be guided.'(Surat al-Baqara, 69-70)
Note how hypocrites always demand ever more detail and deny that
Allah's command is easy to act on. By saying, "if Allah wills, we will
be guided" as they do this they claim to want further detail in order
tofind the true path, for god reasons. The fact is, however, that
Allah reveals their true intention in the very next verse:
He said, 'He says it should be a cow not trained to plough or irrigate
the fields – completely sound, without a blemish on it.' They said,
'Now you have brought the truth.' So they sacrificed it – butthey
almost did not do it.(Surat al-Baqara, 71)
After demanding the greatest possible detail, they still refused to
act on Allah's command. But by saying "they almost did not do it,"
Allah reveals these people's true faces and immorality. These verses
once again show how hypocrites exhibit a devilish stubbornness, are
disobedient and proud, have the impudence, in their small minds, to
dislike Allah's commands and prophet (surely they are all beyond
this), but try to give the impressions they have good intentions by
copying the way Muslims speak when it suits them.

Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Why is NTV so willing to embarrass itself with such nonsense as “We evolved while cooking meat”?
As we all know, the world has been held captive by atheist masons and
atheist Zionists' wide-ranging and organized plans andDarwinist
propaganda for the last century and ahalf. Through this comprehensive
propaganda, institutionsof state had to defend the heretical theory of
evolution, schools had toteach it and teachers had to instruct their
students in it, despite not believing it themselves. So shamelessly
has this propaganda been disseminated that despite the theory of
evolution being an astonishingly false and irrational lie, some people
have been put in the willing or unwilling position of vigorously
espousing this primitive thesis.
Darwinists never anticipated certain developments in the 21stcentury.
They never imagined this unintelligent theory, devoid of any
scientific or logical basis, would be so easily defeated. In deciding
to raise new generations with this theory, they never even dreamed
THAT THE NEW GENERATION WOULD MAKEFUN OF THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION. They
never even ADMITTED THE POSSIBILITY that when the whole world had
submitted to this unbelievable theory SOMEONE WITH THE COURAGE TO
ANNIHILATE THE THEORY WOULD EMERGE. But everything they never imagined
hascome true.
That is the origin of Darwinists' current bafflement.
Darwinists cannot deceive a population 99% of whom do not believe in evolution
NTV's broadcasts are a small accompaniment to the crowd in question
who have so wasted their time and been so seriously defeated.
NTV'sposition is a bit differentto that of the others, however,
because the media group in questionIS TRYING TO DECEIVE A SOCIETY 99%
OF WHOSE POPULATION DO NOT BELIEVE IN EVOLUTION. However,
We have news for NTV:
Turkish society HAS BEEN READING THE MORE THAN 300 BOOKS, WATCHING
DOCUMENTARIES AND PERUSING ARTICLES BY HARUN YAHYA, which demolish
evolution with concrete evidence, ever since the 1980s.
EVERY MEMBER of this society IS WELL AWARE, even if he knows very
little about the subject and has never received any education in
biology, THAT NOT EVEN ASINGLE PROTEIN CAN COMEINTO BEING BY CHANCE
AND THAT 60 PROTEINS ARE NEEDED FOR ONE TO COME INTO BEING.
This society has learnedthat more than 300 million fossils prove the
fact of Creation AND THATNOT A SINGLE TRANSITIONAL FOSSIL EXISTS.
Just about all Turkish people have studied the Atlas of Creation, page
bypage, through which they can access free of charge over the internet
and which uses fossil evidence to refute all theunscientific claims of
evolution.
People in this society have seen with their own eyes at fossil
exhibitions the evidencethat refutes evolution AND HAVE TOUCHED THESE
FOSSILS THAT PROVE CREATION WITH THEIR OWN HANDS.
The younger generation has attendedsome 2000 SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCES IN
JUST ABOUT ALL OF TURKEY'S 81PROVINCES that refute the theory of
evolution in their own schools, universities and conference halls.
Students ARE REACTING AGAINST teachers who try to deceive their pupils
by telling them about evolution and questions about evolution imposed
on exam papers ARE BEING HURRIEDLY REMOVED.
If we ask any citizen on any street in any Turkish province, THEY WILL
SAY THAT THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION IS A HUGE FRAUD AND A TERRIBLE
DECEPTION.
It is terribly illogical to defend the fraud of evolution and to
imagine that people will still believe in it in such aclimate.
Everyone in Turkey, from 7 to 70, knows perfectly well THAT NO MONKEY
EVER TURNED INTO A HUMAN BEING BY COOKING MEAT. To imagine that the
Turkish nation, whose superior virtues act as a model for all
countries, will believe in this nonsense, to so underestimate that
nation, means to think that they are completely gullible, and that is
a grave and total error. This glorious nation is far more intelligent
and foreseeing than Darwinists could ever imagine. The fact that 99%
of people in Turkey do not believe in evolution is an explicit
reflection of this.
Darwinists have suffereda huge and profound defeat all over the world
As a result of the works that emerged from Mr. Adnan Oktar's 30-year
intellectual struggle, Darwinists have suffereda stunning defeat they
never expected. This is something they never calculated for. The more
they strive to rescue their theory, they greater the effect of the
reaction they attract. The fact that people are abandoning this theory
in droves, despite the Darwinist conditioning all over the world, is
the clearest sign that their awareness on the subject has been raised
and that they now think in the light of the scientific evidence.
People have now seen the Sun. It is enough for them to have seen the
Sun for just a second. It is now impossible to convince them that
there is no such thing outside, as the Sun. That is why broadcasting
organizations striving tospread Darwinist indoctrination under
thedirection of certain forces are aware they have been dealt a heavy
blow and that there is now nothing else for them to do in order to
defend the theory of evolution. The few examples we are witnessing
these days are mere death throes. As a small media group trying to
follow these Darwinists who have been so globally defeated, NTV is
engaged in the same hopeless endeavors, but it is suffering an even
worse disappointment, and the reports it issues to that end are a
serious embarrassment to it. Ouradvice to NTV is, instead of imitating
Darwinist broadcasts that have been profoundly defeated across the
world and that nobody takes seriously, they should go out on the
streets and see what people really think, see how intelligently and
open mindedly people think and thus see how they do not believe in the
nonsense that is Darwinism. In that even, NTV and media organizations
that engage in similar Darwinist propaganda will see how they are
being humiliated by tales such as "we evolved while cooking meat."
They will realize that they cannot deceivethe Turkish people, and we
hope that they will then cease espousing such nonsense.

Those who ignore the hundreds of portents of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as) will never believe even if they see Hazrat Mahdi (as) accompanied by angels
Our Prophet (saas) has described what will happen in the End
Times, what events will take place and what situations will arise, in
astonishing detail in the hadiths. And each one ofthese reports has
duly come about. The fact that the events reported by our Prophet
(saas) 1400 years ago are coming true one by one, just as he
described, is a blessing bestowed on our Prophet (saas) by Allah. More
than 150 phenomena revealed by our Prophet (saas) have taken place
over the last 30 years since Hijri 1400. In other words, by Allah's
leave, more than 150 miracles of our Prophet (saas) have come about.
To summarize these miracles of our Prophet's(saas); the following
events have taken place, just as he said, since the beginning of the
Hijri 1400s, the stopping of the waters of the Euphrates, the
Iran-Iraq War, a bloody attack on the Kaaba, solar and lunar eclipses
at 15-day intervals during the month of Ramadan, the occupation of
Afghanistan, the invasion of Iraq, Baghdad being enfoldedin flames,
the appearance of Halley's comet, a fire from the East being seen with
the setting fire to the oil wells during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait,
a corruption of smoke andfire arose with the attack on the Twin Towers
in America on September 11, the rulers of Sham and Egypt were killed,
Azerbaijan was occupied, a double-tailed comet moving in the opposite
direction toall other comets and known as Lulin was observed and
hundreds of other signs. These things are all evidence that we are in
the End Times, that the Prophet Jesus (as) will return to earth in
this century andthat we are living in the age of Hazrat Mahdi (as).
Some people are ignoring the clear and easily comprehensible fact that
more than 150 miracles foretold by our Prophet (saas) have all come
about and are unaware that we are living in a most excellentand holy
age. This is actually one of the marvels of the End Timesand is really
quite amazing. What is even more surprising, however, is that they
demand still more miracles even those 150 miracles of our Prophet
(saas) are there for all to see. IN THE SAME WAY THAT THEY DO NOT SEE
OR WANT TO SEE THAT THESE MIRACLES ARE TAKING PLACE ONE AFTER THE
OTHER BEFORE THEIR VERY EYES, SO THEY WILL BE UNABLE TO SEE AND
UNDERSTAND ANY OTHER MIRACLE THAT ALLAH MIGHT WORK. People who deny
the stopping of the Euphrates, the shedding of blood at theKaaba for
the first time in 1400 years, solar and lunar eclipses during Ramadan
for the first time in 1400 years and thus more than a hundred
phenomena foretelling the coming ofHazrat Mahdi (as), on thebasis of
no information whatsoever, will refuse to accept the truth no matter
what information, evidence ormiracles are shown them.
For example, some people ignorantly misinterpret
trustworthyinformation provided in the hadiths and say that when
Hazrat Mahdi (as) appears people will see angels above his head and
that these will constantly point Hazrat Mahdi (as) out and identify
him. However, even if an angel were to come and point out Hazrat Mahdi
(as) in the manner they claim, thesepeople would still not admit that
Hazrat Mahdi (as) had come and would find some quibble, in their own
eyes, to try and wriggle out of it. It needs to be made clear that we
know from the hadiths of our Prophet (saas) that there will be angels
beside Hazrat Mahdi (as) and that these angels will help him. However,
ANGELS BEING SEEN BESIDE HAZRAT MAHDI (AS) IS A PHENOMENON THAT WILL
TAKE PLACE IN THE SPIRITUAL WORLD ALONE, AND THAT WILL THEREFORE ONLY
BE VISIBLE TO ANGELS. (For detailed information on the subject, see
http://us2.harunyahya.com/Detail/T/EDCRFV/productId/14239 )
It is a fact revealed in the Qur'an that because of their persistence
in denial, people will wish to see a miracle when the messenger comes.
Indeed, as revealed in verses, these people will want an angel to come
and will say that only then will they believe heis a true Prophet:
Perhaps you are leaving aside part of what has been revealed to you
and your breast is constricted by this because they say, 'Why has
treasure not been sent down to him OR AN ANGEL NOT ACCOMPANIED HIM?'
You are only a warner and Allah is Guardian over all things. (Surah
Hud, 12)
"WHY DO YOU NOT BRING ANGELS TO US if you are telling the truth?" The
angels only descend with the truth and then they would be granted no
reprieve. (Surat al-Hijr, 7-8)
They say, "WHY HAS AN ANGEL NOT BEEN SENT DOWN TO HIM?" If We were to
send down an angel, that would be theend of the affair and they would
have no reprieve. (Surat al-An'am, 8)
However, Allah reveals that these people will still not believe even
if an angel does come:
EVEN IF WE SENT DOWN ANGELS TO THEM, AND THEDEAD SPOKE TO THEM, ANDWE
GATHERED TOGETHER EVERYTHING IN FRONT OF THEM RIGHT BEFORE THEIR EYES,
THEY STILL WOULD NOT BELIEVE UNLESS ALLAH WILLED. THE TRUTH IS THAT
MOST OF THEM ARE IGNORANT. (Surat al-An'am, 111)
What are they waiting for but FOR THE ANGELS TO COME TO THEM or for
your Lord Himself to come, or for one of your Lord's Signs to come? On
the day that one of your Lord's Signs does come, no faith which a self
professes will be of any use to it if it did not have faith before and
earn good in its faith. Say: "Wait, then; We too are waiting." (Surat
al-An'am, 158)
Although Hazrat Mahdi (as) will restore Islam to the essence of the
moral values of the Qur'an and the Sunna of our Prophet (saas), will
cleanse it of subsequent innovations (bi'dah) and superstitions, will
intellectually demolish irreligion and cause the moral values of the
Qur'an to spread. Some people in his time will say, "SHOULD THERE NOT
ALSO HAVE BEEN AN ANGELABOVE HIS HEAD?" However, these people who
expect a miracle in order to believe are forgetting one very important
fact: IN THE SAME WAY THAT NOBODY CAN SEE THE RECORDING ANGELS BY
PEOPLE'S SIDESIN THE LIFE OF THIS WORLD, IF THE ANGEL GABRIEL (AS) WHO
FREQUENTLY BROUGHT REVELATION TO OUR PROPHET (SAAS) CAME WITHOUT BEING
SEEN, THEN THE ANGELS GABRIEL(AS) MICHAEL (AS) AND RAPHAEL (AS) BY
HAZRAT MAHDI'S (AS) SIDE AND THE OTHER 46,000 ANGELSTHAT HELP HIM WILL
NOT BE SEEN, EITHER.
Times, what events will take place and what situations will arise, in
astonishing detail in the hadiths. And each one ofthese reports has
duly come about. The fact that the events reported by our Prophet

professes will be of any use to it if it did not have faith before and
earn good in its faith.
Free your heart from spite -I
●◄ - <-: http://translate.google.com/m :-> - ►● - The
importance of freeing the heart from spite: Slaves of Allaah! Islam
encourages making reconciliation between people in order to maintain
good relations amongst the Muslims, to spread love and to keep the
hearts ofMuslims free from spite. Allaah Says (what means): "So fear
Allaah and amend that which is between you" [Quran 8: 1].
Additionally, Islam ordains all that which spreads mutual love and
frees the hearts from spite, as in the narration of Abu Hurayrah who
reported that the Prophet said: "You will not enter Paradise until you
believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall
Iguide to that which would make you love one another? Spread greetings
(Salaam) abundantly amongst yourselves" [Muslim]
The Prophet was asked: "Who are the best type of people?" He replied:
"A person who is truthful in his speech and Makhmoom in his heart"
People asked: "We know what is truthful speech, but what is a
Makhmoomheart?" The Prophet responded saying: "It is a pure pious
heart that does not have envy, evil or spite." [Ibn Maajah]
Spite has greatly increased amongst people today, resulting inthe
severing of relations and in people holding grudges against each
other. This is in spite of the fact that Allaah has made legislations,
which would prevent this from happening. For example, a Muslim is
allowed to request a fellow Muslim who wants to visit him toreturn at
a later time. In normal situations, peoplewould not appreciate someone
not allowing them entry when they visit them, but since Allaah The
All-Knowing, knows that people might have certain circumstances that
wouldnot allow them to receivevisitors, He legislated this to protect
people's heartsfrom holding grudges due to this. Allaah Says (what
means): "And if it is said to you, "Go back (Or a similarexpression
showing that the occupants are not prepared to receive visitors)" then
go back; it is purer for you" [Quran 24: 28]. This is a way to condole
the person who was not granted permission to enter, lest he feels
insulted or saddened, and a means to protect the hearts from spite.
This is why some of the Salaf used to be happy when they went visiting
someone and were not permitted in, because they sought the consequence
of returning mentioned in the above verse --which is the promise of
becoming purer (i.e. in their hearts).
Having pure hearts that are free from spite is a bounty and a blessing
from Allaah which He grants to the dwellers of Paradise upon their
entryinto it. Allaah Says (what means): "And We will remove whatever
is in their chests of resentment (i.e. ill will or ill feelings
towards one another), [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing
each other." [Quran 15: 47]
In addition to a pure heart being a blessing and a bounty from Allaah,
it is also a source of comfort. This is why Islam puts great emphasis
on purification of the heart from spite, so that people can live
together in peace and harmony.
The great importance attached to this issue is because it is a
difficult state to achieve all the time. A person may have a strong
will which enables him to wake up in the middle of the nightto offer
optional night prayers, but he may not be strong enough to overcome
some of his bad feelings towards his fellow Muslims.
Undoubtedly, this quality is a praiseworthy one indeed; Allaah praised
the Ansaar (i.e. the residents of Madeenah) for possessing such a
quality saying (which means): "They [i.e. the Ansaar] find not any
[ill] feelings in their chests [i.e. hearts] of what they were given
[i.e. the Muhaahireen-emigrants from Makkah] but give [them]
preference over themselves, even though they arein privation." [Quran
59: 9] When Allaah favored the Muhaajireen with certainthings, the
Ansaar did notfeel any objection to this, nor did they harbor any ill
feelings or envy towards their brothers infaith for being
distinguished with these favors. Instead, they favored them over their
own selves with whatever they had, even if they themselves were in
need of what they offered.
The following great storyreflects the rank of possessing a pure heart
that is free from spite, and that it is a blessing from Allaah. Anas
Ibn Maalik narrated: "We were sitting with the Prophet once when
hesaid: "A man from the dwellers of Paradise will walk in now" so a
man from the Ansaar (i.e. residents of Madeenah) walked in whose beard
was dripping from the effect of ablution and who heldhis slippers with
his left hand. The next day the Prophet said the same thing, and the
same man walked in. On the third day, the Prophet said the same thing,
and the same man once again walked in. When the Prophet left the
gathering, 'Abdullaah Ibn'Amr followed that man and said to him: `I
had a misunderstanding with my father and swore not to stay in his
house three nights, so if you permit me I would like to spend these
three nights with you` The man said: `Yes, I permit you.`"
Anas added: "'Abdullaah Ibn 'Amr told us that he spent three nights
and did not noticethat the man prayed the optional night prayers
during any of these nights, but if he woke up during the night, he
would simply mention Allaah. Nonetheless, I never heard him utter
except good things, so when the three nights finished, I almost
belittled his deeds (as they were insignificant) and I said to him: `O
slaveof Allaah! There was not dispute between me and my father or
anger, but I heard the Prophet saying thrice: "A man from the dwellers
of Paradise will walkin now" and you walked in all three times, so I
wanted to sleep in your place to see what you do in order to imitate
you, but I did not see that you exert extra effort in performing any
extra deeds. How did you reach such status to deserve what the Prophet
said about you?` He replied: `My deeds are nothing more than what you
saw` Thenwhen I left, he called me back in and said: `My deeds are
nothing more than what you saw, but the only thing I do is that I do
not hold any grudge against any Muslim or envy anyone for what
bounties Allaah has granted them`; thereupon 'Abdullaah Ibn'Amr said
to him: "This difficult quality to obtain is what granted you this
rank". [Ahmad]
The keenness of the Salaf tohave pure hearts: It is not an easy task
for someone to maintain a heart free from spite and hold no grudges
against anyone. On the other hand, it is not an impossible mission
either, and can be achieved with training, practice and constant
striving.
The companions were very keen to remove any bad feelings from the
hearts of their brothers towards them. `Aa'ith Ibn`Amr Al-Muzani
reported: "Abu Sufyaan passed by Salmaan, Suhayb and Bilaal and some
other Companions (after the conquest of Makkah, when he was still a
disbeliever). They said to him: "The swords of Allaah did not exact
their due from the foes of Allaah?'' Abu Bakr said to them: "Do you
speak like this to the chief of the Quraysh and their master?'' Then
he went to the Prophet and related this to him. He said: "O Abu Bakr!
Perhaps you have angered them. If so, you have angered your Lord". Abu
Bakr rushed back to them and said: "Omy brothers! Did I offend you?''
They replied: "No. May Allaah forgive you, brother".
[Muslim]
This proves that a person must rush to make amends and apologize for
his actions, if he fears that a fellow Muslim was offended or his
feelings were hurt, to make sure his brother's heart remains pure
towards him. The one who is being apologized to mustaccept without
delay andcomfort his brother, and assure him that he is not holding
any grudge against him and supplicate for him as the companions did
with AbuBakr all.

The Prophetic Guidance on Perfumes
●◄ - <-: http://translate.google.com/m :-> - ►● - If
speech is blessed by sending blessings upon the Prophet how could
Madeenah not have been blessed during his days, while he inhabited it;
he, who refreshed its breeze, perfumed itsatmosphere and renewed its
fragrance; whose scent preceded him to wherever he went and remained
after he had left. It washe who was the one by whom Taybah (another
name for Madeenah) was blessed in his life, and still is after his
death.
Here is Anas ibn Maalik saying, "I have never smelled any ambergris,
musk nor anything [that is] more pleasant than the smell of the
Messenger of Allaah ." Small wonder, for Umm Sulaym would collect the
sweat of the Prophet in a flask and use it as a perfume. In an
authentic narration, the Prophet had a siesta in their house (that of
Umm Sulaym ), and he sweated; so she brought a bottle and kept
extracting his sweat into her bottle. The Prophet then awakened and
asked her: "What are you doing, O Umm Sulaym?" She answered, "This is
your sweat, we take it as perfume to us, and it is from the best
perfumes." By Allaah, Umm Sulaym was truthful; for this was indeed the
best of perfumes.
Despite the scent that was in his honored body, the Prophet would
perfume himself with the best perfume he could find. 'Aa'ishah also
perfumed him with the best of she could find, to the extent that the
shine of perfume was seen in his hair and beard.
The life of the beloved Prophet was between two kinds of perfume; a
moral perfume, whichhe carried in his heart and that flowed in his
blood, which was the perfume of the revelation, the Sunnah (Prophetic
tradition) and the Da'wah (call) to worshipping Allaah The
Almighty. The second was a tangible perfume that emanated from his body
and clothes. One wonders: where are those who are morally and tangibly
perfumed today? Where are those who are outwardly and inwardly, and
secretly and openly imitators andfollowers of our beloved Prophet ?
The best of the creatures of Allaah The Almighty on earth is Prophet
Muhammad whom Allaah The Almighty made an example and guide to people.
Thus, he is an excellent role-model in all things, even in the
simplest matters, and he taught those around him without affectation.
Among the things the Companions learnt from the Prophet and acted upon
was his care for perfume. He always had a fragrant smell about him,
which corresponded with his pleasant speech, that the companion may
associate and be pleased with him, the straying be guided by him, the
ignorant and the seeker of knowledge learn from him, and the seeker of
guidance be enlightened by him.
Why would the Prophet not perfume himself, when perfume was among the
beloved things tohim? Wasn't he the one who said: "Endeared to me of
your worldly life [are] women and perfume." The Prophet was good and
liked what was good, and he paid special care to perfume. He had a
vessel from which he perfumed himself, and it is said that it was a
mixed perfume combined from several materials. It had a strong smell
to the extent that if the Prophet passed by a road in Madeenah, people
would say,"The Prophet passed from here", due to the effect of his
perfume.
Although he was busy with the affairs of Muslims and in Jihaad
(struggle) with word and sword, the Prophet did not neglect to speak
about perfume and what is the best of it. He said: "The best perfume
is musk." His care to be perfumed was not in vain, but as he was
commanded to perform Da'wah (calling to Islam), one of his mainduties
was to seek to impress himself in the hearts of people and to be
pleasing and appealing in their eyes. This was so that they would not
despise him and turn away from him and the truth he came with, and is
very important for every scholar who concerns himself with conveying
the truth to people.
Another cause of the Prophet's laying importance on perfume may be
that he sat with the angels and communicated with Allaah The Almighty
several times in prayer. This was all the more reason for him to
perfume himself, as it was revealed to him(what means): {O children of
Aadam, take your adornment at every masjid, and eat and drink, but be
not excessive. Indeed, He likes not those who commit excess.} [Quran
7:31]

The origin of April Fools’ day
●◄ - <-: http://translate.google.com/m :-> - ►● Many
theories have been put forward about how the tradition began.
Unfortunately, none of them are conclusive. Thus, the origin of the
"custom of making April fools" remains as much a mystery to us as it
was back in 1708 CE.
The most popular theory about the origin of April Fools' Day involves
the French calendar reform of the sixteenth century. The theory goes
like this: In 1564 CE France reformed its calendar, moving the start
of the year fromthe end of March to January 1. Those who failed to
keep up withthe change, and stubbornly clungto the old calendar system
and continued to celebrate the New Year during the week that fell
between March 25 and April 1, had jokes played on them. Pranksters
would surreptitiously stick paper fish to their backs. The victims of
this prank were thus called 'poisson d'Avril', or April fish—which, to
this day, remains the French term for AprilFools' Day — and so the
tradition was born.
Others say that this started a long time before that, and that it was
initiated during the ancient ages as a part of polytheistic
celebrations on a set date on the beginning of the spring season. Yet
others say that fishing did not yield any catch in the first days of
the spring season and thus this was innovated as a newpractice on the
first of April.
According to legend, the Duke of Lorraine and his wife were imprisoned
at Nantes. They escaped on April 1, 1632 CE by disguising themselves
as peasants and walking through the front gate. Someone noticed them
escaping and told the guards. But the guards believed the warning to
be a " poisson d'Avril " (or April Fools' Day joke) and laughed at it,
thus allowing the Duke and his wife to escape.
"April's fish" was also said to be due to the movement of the sun from
Pisces (February 20- March 20) to the next sign. Some theories believe
that it was given this name after altering the word'passion' (as a
symbol for the torture that Jesus suffered) to 'poisson d'Avr il '.
British folklore links April Fools' Day to the town of Gotham, the
legendary town of fools located in Nottinghamshire. According tothe
legend, it was a tradition in the 13th century for any road that the
King placed his foot upon to become public property. So when the
citizens of Gotham heard that King John planned to travel through
their town, they refused him entry, not wishing tolose their main
road. When the King heard this, he sent soldiers to the town. But when
the soldiers arrived in Gotham, they found the town full of lunatics
engaged in foolish activities such as drowning fish or attempting to
cage birds in roofless fences. Their foolery was all an act, but the
King fell for the ruse and declared the town too foolish to warrant
punishment. Ever since then, according to legend, April Fools' Day has
commemorated their trickery.
The first lie on this occasion was recorded in a British magazine. The
April 2, 1698 CE edition of Dawks's News-Letter (a British newspaper)
reported that, "Yesterday being the first of April, several persons
were sent to the Tower Ditch to see the Lions washed." Sending
gullible victimsto the Tower of London to see the "washing of the
lions" (a non-existent ceremony) was a popular prank. It became
traditional for this prank to be played on April Fools' Day. Examples
of it occur as late as themid-nineteenth century In the eighteenth
century written references to April Fools' Day became numerous and
appeared throughout Europe.
One of the most famous incidentsthat happened in Europe on April 1,
was when the English newspaper, The Evening Star , announced in March
1746 CE that on the following day – April 1 st – there would be an
parade of donkeys in Islington, in England. The people rushed to see
these animals and there was a huge crowd. They continued waiting and
when they got tired of waiting, they asked about when the parade would
be held. They did not find anything, and then they finally realized
that they had come to make an exhibition of themselves, as if they
were the donkeys!
The above was just to show the history of this event. However, it is
not important to know what isits real source or how it originated.
What matters to us is the ruling of lying on this day.
This practice certainly never existed in the bright eras of
Islamduring which the Muslims highly cherished the rulings of Islam
and adhered to them as closely as they could. This event was certainly
not initiated by the Muslims, but rather, by their enemies.
The unfortunate part is that many Muslims have made it a common
practice for them to lie to their wives, friends or relativesand cause
them great sorrow and frighten them by lying on this day, claiming
that it is only a joke. Many a times, people have died as a result of
some of these lies due to heart attacks or become paralyzed from the
impact of the lie on them. Some people have even divorced their wives
and others have uttered such lies about a man's wife that he went and
killed her.
There is no end to such tragic stories associated with this day. The
only way one can restrain him/herself from falling in this evil
practice is by remembering the Islamic ruling which prohibitslying
even in jest.

Dought & clear, - Using elastic hair ties that have coloured hairs.
There are hair ties that are made of elastic and contain coloured
hairs or hair that is all the same colour. What is the ruling on that?
Praise be to Allah.
It is not permissible for awoman to attach other hair to her hair
(hair extensions) because of the warning against hairextensions.
Al-Bukhaari (5937) and Muslim (2122) narrated from Ibn 'Umar (may
Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and
peace of Allah be upon him) said: "May Allah curse the one who adds
hair extensions and the one who has them added, the one who does
tattoos and the onewho has them done."
Muslim (2126) narrated that Jaabir ibn 'Abdullah (may Allah be pleased
with him) said: The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)
forbade women to attach anything to their head.
This is general in meaning and applies to anything that may be
attached to the head. Hence some of the scholars are of the view that
it is haraam to attach string, fabric and the like to the hair; others
are of the opinion that what is haraam is attaching hair to it.
An-Nawawi said in SharhMuslim: al-Qaadi 'Iyaad said: The scholars
differed concerning this issue. Maalik, at-Tabari and many or most of
the scholars said that attaching anything is prohibited, whether it is
hair, wool, or cloth. Theyquoted as evidence for that the hadeeth of
Jaabir which was narrated by Muslim, according to which the Prophet
(blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade women to attach
anything to their head.
Al-Layth ibn Sa'd said: The prohibition applies specifically to
attaching hair; there is nothing wrong with attaching wool, cloth and
so on. Others said: All of that is permissible. This is narrated from
'Aa'ishah, but it is not narrated from her in a saheeh report; rather
the saheeh report from her is in accordance with theview of the
majority.
Al-Qaadi said: With regard to tying strings ofcoloured silk and the
like which does not resemble hair, that is notprohibited because it
does not come under theheading of attaching hair extensions and it
does not serve the same purpose as hair extensions; rather it is done
for the purpose of beautification and adornment. In the hadeeth it
states that doing hair extensions is a major sin for which the one who
does it is cursed; it also shows thatthe one who helps in doing
something haraam has a share of the burden of sin with the one who
does it, justas the one who helps in an act of obedience has a share
of the reward. End quote.
Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) issued a fatwa
forbidding doing hair extensions with artificialhair.
He (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: How sound is this hadeeth
and what is meant by it: May Allah curse the one who adds hair
extensions and the one who has them added…"? Does it refer to hair
that is made fromhair that has fallen out (i.e., natural hair), or
hair that is manufactured from fibres and other artificialmaterials?
He (may Allah have mercy on him) replied: The one who does hair
extensions is the one who attaches them to the head of another woman,
and the woman who has them added is the one who asks for that to be
done to her. Attaching hair to the hair of the head (hair extensions)
is haraam; indeed it is a major sin, because the Prophet (blessings
and peace of Allah be upon him) cursed the one who does that.
The scholars differed concerning attaching something other than hair
to the hair. Some of them said that it is not permissible, because the
Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade women to
attach anything to their hair, and the word anything is general in
meaning and includes hair and other things.
Based on that, it is not permissible to attach to the natural hair
artificialhair that resembles the hair created by Allah, may He be
glorified and exalted; rather that is included in this hadeeth. This
hadeeth contains a stern warning to the onewho does that, because the
Messenger (blessingsand peace of Allah be upon him) said: May Allah
curse the one who adds hair extensions andthe one who has them added."
What is meant by being cursed is being excluded and banished far away
from the mercyof Allah. The scholars have stated that every sin for
which Allah, may He be exalted, has decreed the punishment of being
cursed is a major sin.
End quote from Fataawa Noor 'ala ad-Darb.
If the hair ties asked about here include hair that is mixed with the
hair on the head so that it appears to be attachedto it, then it comes
under the heading of hair extensions which are haraam.
And Allah knows best.

Dought & clear, - They stipulated that he should lead a communal du‘aa’ and not place onehand over the other; should he lead them in prayer or leave them?.
I was asked to be an imam and Jumu'ah khateeb in the town in which I
live, but they stipulated that I should recite du'aa' out loud after
every prayer, and that I should not place one hand over the other in
the prayer. Please note that I am the only one who is studying Islamic
sciences in this town. Should I accept or refuse?
Praise be to Allah.
Firstly:
We appreciate your keenness to do good, follow the Sunnah and avoid
that which is contrary to it; we ask Allah, may He be exalted,to
enable you to do that which pleases Him.
Secondly:
We should differentiate between that on which the scholars are
unanimously agreed that it is a reprehensible innovation (bid'ah) and
that concerning which the scholars have differed, such as about
placing one hand over the other when standingin the prayer, du'aa'
following prayer, Qunoot in Fajr prayer every day, and so on.
So we should be more strict in objecting to the first type (that
concerning which there is scholarly consensus that it is an
innovation); objections to the second type (that concerning which the
scholars differed as to whether it is innovation) should be of a
lesser degree. In fact, one may refrain from objecting altogether and
keep quiet about it because there is such a difference of opinion
concerning it.
See the answer to question no. 70491 for information on
differentiating between issues concerning which the one who acts
differently should be denounced and those concerning which he should
not be denounced.
We should also note thatIslam came to achieve and complete that
whichis in people's best interests and to ward offand reduce that
which isharmful to their best interests.
In the event of a conflict between achieving something good and
warding off something bad, we should see which of the two is
moreimportant and then give it precedence.
Based on that, the Sunnah confirms that the hands should be placed on
the chest when standing in prayer, and the Sunnah is to recite dhikr
audibly following the obligatory prayer; each worshippershould recite
it audibly on his own, then if he offers supplication (du'aa') after
reciting this dhikr, he should do so quietly on his own.
What they are calling you to do is not good and is contrary to the Sunnah.
But should you refuse to lead them in prayer so that you will not end
up doing something that is contrary to the Sunnah and committing this
wrong practice, or should you agree?
The answer to that is as follows:
If your refusing to lead them in prayer will result in their bringing
an imam who is more able than you to make these people follow the
Sunnah and teach it to them, and he will not end up going against the
Sunnah, then you should refuse.
But if your refusal meansthat they will bring an ignorant imam who
will do these actions that arecontrary to the Sunnah and add many more
to them, and he will not teach the people the Sunnah or adhere to it;
rather he may oppose the Sunnah and those who follow it, out of
ignorance on his part or because he is following his whims and
desires, then in that case you should not hesitate to agree to be an
imam for these people, even if they make you do these actions that are
contraryto the Sunnah, because that will lead to less negative
consequences than if you refuse.
We stated above that Islam came to ward off and reduce wrong
practices. Moreover, if you develop a close connection with them later
on, then you can try to teach them the Sunnah and lead them towards it
little by little.
You can also tell them about the views of some scholars whom they
respect who spoke against what you want to denounce of innovations, so
long as you do that gradually so as not to alienate the people.
There follow the views of some scholars about the imam refraining from
some things that he thinks are Sunnah and mustahabb, so as to soften
the hearts of the congregation.
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
If the imam thinks that something is mustahabb and the congregation
does not think that it is mustahabb, and he refrains from doing it for
the sake of unity andharmony, then he has done something good. An
example of that is Witr, concerning which there are three scholarly
opinions, one of which is that it can only be three continuous
rak'ahs, like Maghrib, as is the view of some of the Iraqi scholars.
The second view is that it can only be one rak'ah that is prayed
separatelyfrom whatever comes before it, as is the view of some of the
Hijazi scholars. The third view is that both are permissible, as is
the prevalent view of the Shaafa'i madhhab, Ahmad and others, and this
is the correct view, however they favoured the view that it should be
separate from what comes before it. If the imam thinks that it should
be separate but the congregation favours the view that Witr prayer
should be done like Maghrib, and he goes along with that so as to
soften their hearts, then he has donewell, as the Prophet (blessings
and peace of Allah be upon him) said to 'Aa'ishah: "Were it notthat
your people have only recently left Jaahiliyyah behind, I would have
demolished (and rebuilt) the Ka'bah and made its door level with the
ground, and I would have given it two doors, one through which the
people could enter and one through which they could exit." But he
refrained from doing that which was better in his view lest he
alienate the people.
Similarly, if a man thinksthat the Basmalah ("Bismillah ir-Rahmaan
ir-Raheem") should be recited out loud but he is leading in prayer
people who do not thinkthat doing so is mustahabb, or vice versa, and
he goes alongwith them, then he has done well. End quote.
Majmoo' al-Fataawa, 22/268
Shaykh 'Abd al-'Azeez ibn Baaz (may Allah havemercy on him) was asked:
Is it permissible to refrain from saying Ameen out loud in the prayer
and not to raise the hands?
He replied:
Yes, if he is among people who do not raise their hands or do not
sayAmeen out loud, then it is better not to do that, so as to soften
their hearts and be able to callthem to what is good, and so that he
can teach them and guide them, and so that he will be able to teach
them the right way. That is because if he differs from them they will
find that objectionable, because they think that this is the Islamic
way, and they think that not raising the hands, apart from the opening
takbeer, is the Islamic way, and they have beenused to that all their
lives. The same applies to not saying Ameen out loud, which is the
subject of a well-known difference of opinion among the scholars; some
of them say that it should be said out loud and some of them say that
Ameen should not be said out loud. According to the hadeeth, the
Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) raised his voice,
and according to other hadeeths he said it quietly. Even though the
correct view is that Ameen should be said out loud and it is something
mustahabb, and he will be omitting something mustahabb inthis case,
the believer should not do somethingmustahabb if it will lead to
division, dispute and fitnah; rather the believer should refrain from
doing that which ismustahabb in that case. For the one who is calling
people to Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, if his refraining
from something will serve a greater interest, then he should do so. An
example of that is when the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be
upon him) refrained from demolishing the Ka'bah and rebuilding it on
the foundations of Ibraaheem. He said: "Quraysh have only recently
left kufr behind," and it is for that reason that he left itas it was
and did not change it, in the public interest. End quote.

The light of guidance - Islamic Stories
I was coming back from a long journey, and Allaah decreed that my seat
in the airplane should be beside a group of carefree youngmen whose
loud laughter and voices were too much, and the air was filled with
cloudsof smoke from their cigarettes. By the wisdom of Allaah, the
plane was completely full and I could not change my seat.
I tried to escape from the problem by sleeping, but it was impossible
When I got fed up of their noise, I took out my Mus-haf (copy of the
Quraan), and started to read what I could of the Quraan in a soft
voice. Soon after that these young men started to quieten down. Some
of them started to read newspapers, and some of them fell asleep.
Suddenly one of them said in a loud voice, even though he was sitting
right next to me, Enough! Enough!
I thought that I had disturbed him because my voice was too loud, so I
apologized to him and carried on reading in a whisper that only I
could hear. I saw him holding his head in his hands, then fidgeting in
his seat, moving a lot. Then he raised his head and said to me
angrily, Please, stop it, I cant stand it!!
Then he got up from his seat and went away for a while, then he came
back, greeted me with salaams, and apologized. He fell silent, and I
did not know what was going on. But after a while he turned to me with
his eyes full of tearsand said to me in a whisper, For three years or
more I have not put my forehead on the ground, and I have not read
even one aayah!
For a whole month I have been on this trip, and there is no evil
action that I did not indulge in. Then I saw you reading Quraan, and
my world turned black and my heart was filled with despair. I felt as
if someone was strangling me I felt every aayah that you read coming
down on my body like a whip .
I said to myself, for how long will this negligence go on? Where will
this path lead you? What willhappen after all this foolish play? Then
I wentto the washroom, do you know why?
I had the strong urge to weep, and I could not find anywhere else to
hide from the peoples sight!
I spoke to him in generalterms about tawbah (repentance) and turning
back to Allaah, then he fell silent.
When the plane landed, he stopped me, and it seemed that he wanted to
keep away from his companions. He asked me, with a serious expression
on his face, Do you think that Allaahwill accept my repentance? I
said, If you are sincere and serious in your repentance, then Allaah
will forgive all your sins.
He said, But I have doneterrible things, very terrible.
I said, Have you not heard what Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
Say: O Ibaadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves
(by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of
Allaah, verily, Allaah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft Forgiving,
Most Merciful[al-Zumar 39:53]?
I saw him smiling with joy, with his eyes filled with tears, then he
bade me farewell and left. Subhaan Allaah al-Azeem!
No matter how great a man's evil and sin, in his heart there is a seed
of goodness. If only we canreach it and make it grow, it will bear
fruit, in sha Allaah.
This seed of goodness is always fighting in man's heart, even when it
is covered by layers of whims and desires. When Allaah wills good for
His slave, He causes the light of guidance to shine in his heart and
guides him to the path of those who are guided. Allaah says
(interpretation of the meaning):
And whomsoever Allaahwills to guide, He opens his breast to Islam;
and whomsoever He wills to send astray, He makes his breast closed and
constricted, as if he is climbing up to the sky [al-Anaam 6:125]

in the airplane should be beside a group of carefree youngmen whose
loud laughter and voices were too much, and the air was filled with
cloudsof smoke from their cigarettes.
And whomsoever Allaahwills to guide, He opens his breast to Islam;
and whomsoever He wills to send astray, He makes his breast closed and
constricted, as if he is climbing up to the sky [al-Anaam 6:125]

Uqbah (RA) has narrated that he offered his 'Asr' salah with
Rasulullah (SAW). At the end of salah Rasulullah (SAW) hastily got up
and, stepping over the shoulders of the people, went to the houses of
one of his wives. People, not knowing what the necessity was, were
perplexed over his haste. On his return he perceived the people's
anxiety and explained that he had suddenly remembered leaving behind a
piece of gold inthe house and he was afraid (lest his death should
take place while he owned a piece of gold; which would become
objectionable for him on the Day of Judgement). So, he had hurried
home to tell them to distribute it immediately. Source: Bukhari and
