Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

The plan to slaughter one-third of the world’s population belongs to the antichrist (dajjal)
The system of the antichrist that rules the world, seeks to deceive
Christians with a false idea of Hazrat Mahdi (peace be upon him). It
tries to misrepresent to the Christian world all the excellent
characteristics of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), the holy personage awaited in
the End Times; it portrays the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), one of
peace and security, entirely differently to Christians. Because of
this vile trick of satan's, some of the Christian world misinterpret
and are wrongly acquainted with Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), who will bring
love, peace, justice and security to the whole world.
The fact is that THIS IS A VILE TRICK OF SATAN'S .
It is the antichrist, otherwise known as the dajjal, who will
perpetrate all the barbaric measures that the Christian world will be
indoctrinated with asa result of this trickery, and that will be
falsely ascribed to Hazrat Mahdi(pbuh). THIS SAVAGE AND ANARCHISTIC
IDEA INTENDED TO RUTHLESSLY SLAUGHTER PEOPLE AND WIPE OUT ONE-THIRD OF
THE WORLD'S POPULATIONBELONGS TO THE ANTICHRIST. This idea of the
antichrist IS BEING DRAWN UP WITH THE AIM OF SLAUGHTERING ONE-THIRD OF
THE WORLD'S POPULATION, APPROXIMATELY 2 BILLION233 MILLION PEOPLE ,
during the time of the coming of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh). THIS WILL
BE THE WORST MASSACRE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE
FOR ANYONE OTHER THAN THE ANTICHRIST to espouse such a slaughter. This
bloody murderer whom Christians are so wronglyawaiting, IS CLEARLY THE
ANTICHRIST.
Assuming that Muslims also espouse this perverted idea, that means the
slaughter of another 2 billion 233 million people. And assuming that
Jews support it, too, this means another 2 billion 233 million people.
This means that NOBODY IN THE WORLD, WITH ITS POPULATION OF 7 MILLION,
WILL BE LEFT ALIVE. The antichrist wants and is anticipating this
savage massacre. It is a matter of the greatest urgency for sincere
Christians to see this ruse of satan's and the terrible nature of this
horrible idea.
In addition, some Christians claim that this slaughter will take place
under the command of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)and, Allah is beyond
this,in Allah's name. They even spout nonsense to the effect that the
Prophet Jesus (pbuh) will use nuclear weapons. It is indisputably a
terrible slander to depict such a gentle prophet as Jesus as a prophet
who resortsto violence. The Prophet Jesus (pbuh) is an excellent and
virtuous prophet who, together with Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), will bring
mercy, beauty, peace and love to the whole world. The Prophet Jesus
(pbuh) will teach the world loveand affection. And all mankind will
soon witness this. It is a terrible slander to mention the name of
this holy prophet in the context of such savagery.
In the hadith revealed by our Prophet (may Allah bless him and
granthim peace), it is mentioned that through the Prophet Jesus's
descent, the peace and security will pravail the Earth; war, murder
and enmity will come to an end.
I swear that Jesus (pbuh), son of Mary will descend as a just ruler...
And all HOSTILITIES, QUARRELS, ENVY WILL ABSOLUTELY VANISH ... (Death
– Doomsday – Hereafter, p. 498)
Jesus (pbuh), son of Marywill be a just judge and a just
ruler,...abolish the jizya (from the non-Muslims), FILL THE EARTH WITH
PEACE just as the water fills the pot. There will also be unity in
religion and noone other than Allah will be worshipped anymore. (Sunan
Ibn Majah, 10/334)
The Prophet Jesus (pbuh) exists in my community as a just ruler... ALL
HOSTILITY AND HATRED VANISH. .. Earth becomes like a silver plate and
grows the plants in abundance just like in the time of the Prophet
Adam (pbuh) ... (Death – Doomsday – Hereafter, p. 496)
EARTH WILL BE FILLED WITH PEACE just like water fills the pot. NO
HOSTILITY WILL REMAIN AND ALL HOSTILITIES, QUARRELS, ENVY WILL
ABSOLUTELY VANISH. (Sahih Muslim, 1/136)
Then he will live for 40 years. Noone will die at his time. One will
call on to his animals (to be out at grass); they will go and although
they pass through the crop not even an anther they will taste. Snakes
and scorpions will not harm anyone. Beasts will standbefore the doors
and will not harm anyone ... (Imam Suyuti, Portents of Doomsday, Death
and Resurrection, p. 1699, p 184)
ENMITY AND GRUDGE among people will disappear. Scorpions and snakes
will be without poison; even a child will play with a snake with bare
hands without getting a snakebite. A girl will try to drive a lion but
that lion will not touch her. A wolf will remain among sheep as if it
were a shepherd dog. As a bowl fills with water, the Earth will fill
with the unity of religion. People will worship no being other than
Allah. NOTHING IN THE NAME OF WARS, STRIFE WILL REMAIN ...The Earth
will be like a silver table. It will give off its plantations as it
were in the time of Prophet Adam (pbuh). A bunch ofgrapes will suffice
a private. A group of people will be full with asingle pomegranate.
Theprice of an ox will be that much and a horse will be purchased in
return for a dirham.
They said:
"The Messenger of Allah! Why will a horse be so cheap?"
" BECAUSE THERE WILL BE NO WAR, PEOPLE WILL NOTNEED IT MUCH !"
"Why will an ox will be so expensive?"
"Because the entire Earth will be planted, it will be of great
demand..."(Ibn Majah reported a similar one from Umama; Great Hadith
Collection, Rudani, Volume 5, p. 370-371-372)
Jesus (as) remains among the people as a just judge, an absolute
judicious imam (religious leader) – ruler... ALL ENMITIES, GRUDGE
DISAPPEAR , the poison of each poisonous animal is drawn. Furthermore,
a child puts his hand in the mouth of a snake but that snake does not
give harm to it. A girl annoys a lion while caressing it but that lion
does not give harm to the girl. A wolf becomes like a shepherd dog
among a sheep herd. THEEARTH IS FILLED WITH PEACE AND SECURITY AS IF A
BOWL IS FILLED WITH WATER. (At that time) a single word (the word
oftawhid) remains and people worship only Allah. Warriors LEAVE THEIR
WEIGHT (THAT IS THEIR ARMS, WEAPONS ETC. ) (Death, Doomsday, the
Hereafter, p.496-497)
(Jesus (pbuh)) will then live for forty years. AT HISTIME NO ONE WILL
DIE. A person will tell his sheepand animals to go and graze, they
will go and although they will pass through crops, they will take not
a single ear of grain into their mouths. Snakes and scorpions will not
give harm to anyone. Predatory animals will lie at people's doorsteps
but they will not give harm to anyone. A person will take a scale of
wheat and plant it [in a field] without ox and catapult, but he will
still take seven hundred scales of wheat in return. (Imam Suyuti,
Portents of Doomsday, Death and Resurrection, p. 184)
"For seven years NO ONE WILL BE ENEMIES TO ONE ANOTHER ." (264- Ibn
Manda, a.e II 958-9, el-Mukhaddas, a.E. Vr. 136-a 137-b)
In his (Jesus' (pbuh)) time soil brings out its treasures in its
depths. People do not demand any possessions. Envy and grudge
disappear. Allah clears off the poison of each poisonous being. Thus
children play with snakes and scorpions, but they are not
harmed.Wolves do not give harmto sheep. PEOPLE DO NOT KILL ONE
ANOTHER. PEACE DOMINATES THE EARTH. Soil gives plenty of cropsas it
were in its initial days. (265- see. Musnad, II, 409, 437;
al-Safarini, Lavami, II 95) (Dr. Zeki Sarıtoprak, Jesus' Descend from
the Point of Islam, Cağlayan Press, Izmir, 1997, p.96)
THERE WILL BE NO PLACE FOR GRUDGE AND ENMITY AMONG PEOPLE since the
reasons disappeared... (Signs of the Doomsday, pp. 242-243)
"Jesus (pbuh), son of Mary, will descend no matter what."... "
ENMITY,GETTING CROSS WITH EACHOTHER AND JEALOUSY WILLBE REMOVED ."
(Abu Huraira (ra), Great Hadith Collection, Rudani, Vol. 5, p. 379)
Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is also described very clearly, with all his
attributes, in the hadith narrated from our Prophet (may Allah bless
him and grant him peace). And one of the most important
characteristics of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) as related in these hadith is
that HE WILL SHED NO BLOOD, ANDWILL NOT WAKEN THE SLEEPER :
People will seek refuge in Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) as honey bees cluster
around their sovereign. He will fill the world thatwas once full of
cruelty, with justice. His justice will be as such that HE WILL NOT
WAKE A SLEEPING PERSON OR EVENSHED ONE DROP OF BLOOD . The Earth will
return to the age of happiness. 1
[Hazrat Mahdi (as)] will follow the way of the Prophet. HE WILL NOT
WAKE UP A SLEEPING PERSON OR SHED BLOOD. 2
HAZRAT MAHDI (AS) WILL BE SO COMPASSIONATE THAT NO ONE WILL BE WOKEN
UP FROM THEIR SLEEP OR HAVE A BLEEDINGNOSE. 3
Those who swear allegiance to him [HazratMahdi (pbuh)] will
swearbetween the rock and the pillar (by the Kaaba). HE WILL NOT WAKEN
THE SLEEPER, AND HE WILL SPILL NO BLOOD. 4
In the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), WAR WILL COME TO AN END AND ARMIES
WILL ABANDON THEIR WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT:
War will lay down its burden (arms and the like). 5
The warriors will abandon their weight [weapons and kits]. 6
All grudges and mutual hatred will be lifted (removed)... Earth will
befilled with peace, just as a vessel is filled with water; the word
will become one [i.e., there will be only one religion], and only
Allah will be worshiped; the battle will put down its weapons [i.e.,
come to an end]. 7
In the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as), ENMITY, CONFLICT AND WAR WILL COME TO AN END.
There will be no enmity between anyone. And allenmity, quarrels and
disputes will surely disappear. 8
In the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). THE WORLD WILL BE FILLED WITH JUSTICE:
HE [HAZRAT MAHDI (PBUH)] WILL FILL THE WORLD, once filled with
oppression, WITH JUSTICEinstead. 9
The Mahdi is one of my people, and HE WILL FILL THE EARTH WITH TRUTH
AND JUSTICE, just as it wasonce filled with cruelty and torture. 10
The Qur'an reveals how our Lord calls people to peace:
Allah calls to the Abode of Peace and He guides whom He wills to a
straight path. (Surah Yunus, 25)
In the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as), THE WORLD WILL BE FILLED WITH JUSTICE.
[In Hazrat Mahdi's (pbuh) time] ALL GRUDGES AND MUTUAL HATRED WILL BE
LIFTED (REMOVED), the sting of every stinging insect willbe removed
until a baby will insert his or her finger in snake's mouth and not be
harmed, and the wolf will be like the dog among the sheep
[safeguarding them]. EARTH WILL BE FILLED WITH PEACE, just as a vessel
is filled with water; the word will become one [i.e., there will be
only one religion], and only Allah will be worshiped; the battle will
put down its weapons [i.e., come to an end]. 11
... In his [Hazrat Mahdi's (pbuh)] day the sheep will graze with the
wolf, and children will play with snakes... 12
The Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and Hazrat Mahdi(pbuh) will come to stop the
bloodshed and to put an end to anarchy and terror. It is the
ANTICHRIST who will commit all the slaughter, oppression and wars.
Hisshedding blood or planning to do so is the clearest proof that this
person is not the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) or Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). Satan
is trying to deceive immaculate Christians along those lines and to
oblige them to set up in opposition to Muslims who love andfear Allah.
It is clear that this ugly plan of satan's has been specially designed
to create division among believers. Christians mustsee the deception
going on here. Sincere Christians are wasting time by attaching
credence to this deception of satan's and turning against those
engaged in the intellectual struggle against irreligion, true
believers. The fact is thatall the revealed religionssent down by
Allah have brought with them love, brotherhood and moral virtue. It is
obvious that nobody who loves and fears Allah can be a partyto such a
slaughter. Only the antichrist can do that. As a result, this
whoperverted plan belongs to the antichrist. Sincere Christians must
immediately become aware of this and waste no time in the intellectual
struggle against irreligion in the End Times in which we are living
in.

The pitiful Darwinists who imagine the newly discovered fossil Anchiornis Huxleyi to be a transitional fossil
A fossil discovered in China the other day was quickly taken up as a
"four-winged bird" in the Darwinist media. Darwinists right away
claimed that this fossil might be "the ancestor of birds." As ever,
they immediately gave the animal a name. They baptized it Anchiornis
huxleyi, in memory of Thomas Huxley, an atheist, Darwinist and 32nd
degree freemason known as Darwin's bulldog.
The fossil belonged to a bird, with wings and also feathers on its
hind legs. The fossil, which Darwinists were unable to account for,
also conflicted with the claims of the theory of evolution. As we
know, despite being a perfect bird Archaeopteryx is regarded as a
transitional form by Darwinists making childish claims. (You can read
about the scientific evidence showing that Archaeopteryx is a perfect
bird here and here .) This new fossil, found in strata dating back
151-161 million years, was older than Archaeopteryx . But fromthe
Darwinist perspective it exhibited no imaginary transitional form
characteristics that it needed to go to Archaeopteryx. With its "four
wings," as Darwinists described it, this life form represent ahuge
puzzle in terms of Darwinist theory. As theystrive to account for the
supposed evolution of two wings, Darwinists now have to account for
third and fourth wings not observed in dinosaurs, nor flying squirrels
nor birds. This of course deals a profound and severe blow to the
Darwinist claim of evolution from bipedal dinosaurs. For that reason
Darwinists began talking about a transitional form "whoserear
wing-like structuresgradually became vestigial." Not even able to
account for the two wings possessed by birds, they now began defending
the idea "twopairs of wings that formed in some way andthen became
vestigial for some reason."But that account is nothing less than an
expression of despair.
Anchiornis Huxleyi Is Not a Transitional Fossil But a Species of Bird
Like Those Living Today
Despite all the Darwinist speculation, it appears from even a brief
examination of the Anchiornis Huxleyi fossil that it represents a
species of bird similar to those living today. The fossil in question
exhibits fully avian features in terms of skulland general anatomy. In
terms of its wings and feathers, it appears to resemble the today's
species of birds with muffed feet. In addition to wings, these animals
have feathers strongly reminiscent of wings on their back legs. The
feathers in question do not function as wings, but are important in
giving the animal an impressive appearance.
This approximately 160-million-year-old life form possesses the same
features as present-day birds with muffed feet. Itrepresents an
extinct member of the species that comprise this family. This is so
obvious that any scientist looking at pictures of it will easily see
this clear resemblance.
As we have already seen,in order to be able to suggest that this
fossil resembles a transitional form, Darwinists maintain that the
rear feathers that pose such adilemma for their theorygradually became
"vestigial." What this means, according to the theory of evolution is:
"Adinosaur gradually decided to fly, following which it developed a
pair of wings. It then thought another pair of wings would come in
handy and grew those, too. But as it grew this second pair it then
thought they were actually unnecessary. It finally decided these wings
should become vestigial and disappear and continued its imaginary
evolutionary process with just one pair of wings." That, in summary,
is the fairy talethat Darwinists are telling, dressed up in scientific
terminology, inworld-renowned journals. The points in this
extraordinarily illogical scenario, which not even a child would be
taken in by, that represent insoluble dilemmas for Darwinists are as
follows:
- There is no such thing as a transition from dinosaurs to birds. Such
a passage is physiologically impossible and, naturally, THERE EXISTS
NOT A SINGLE TRANSITIONAL FOSSIL thatmight confirm this impossible
scenario.
- Birds did not emerge from some other life form gliding through the
air. Birds have always existed as birds, and appeared suddenly with
their magnificent appearances. As with all other life forms, THERE
EXISTS NOT A SINGLE TRANSITIONAL FOSSIL to show that birds evolved.
- Bird feathers and wingsare some of the most complex structure
investigated by biology today. It is totally ridiculous to claim that
an unconscious life form decided these would be necessary, grew them
and later gave up and allowed them to becomevestigial. The proponents
of Darwinism ARE IN AN IMPOSSIBLE POSITION IN THE FACE OF A SINGLE
BIRDFEATHER.
- Four wings represent a considerable advantage for a living thing.
Four-winged life forms can maneuver relatively much better than
two-winged ones. For example, thanks to their four wings dragonflies
and honeybees are able to maneuver very much easier. Four wings should
therefore be an advantage for a life form. As we have seen, this
illogical claim is even incompatible with evolution's own claims.
- The animal HAS NOT A SINGLE STRUCTURE DEVELOPING FROM A
MOREPRIMITIVE FORM that would allow it to be regarded as a
transitional form. All of its structures are fully functional and
sublimelycomplex.
- All the fossils put forward by Darwinists inorder to supposedly
confirm their scenarios of a passage from land to air, and that they
still frequently attempt to bring up today, BELONG TO FULLY FORMED AND
PREFECT LIFE FORMS. Since Archaeopteryx and Microraptor gui , another
bird species with muffed feet, are nothing more than perfect bird
species that existed millions of years ago, they cause grave concern
to Darwinists, who have sought a way of escape from all the evidence
of Creation by depicting them as transitional forms.
Darwinists are following the same course with the newly discovered fossil.
In the same way that every fossil discovered BELONGS TO A PERFECT LIFE
FORM, so Anchiornis Huxleyi IS A PERFECT BIRD SPECIES that represents
the highly decorative species of birds with muffed feet alive today
and that has in all probability become extinct. And as a
representative of birds with muffed feet that dates back 160 million
years it constitutes significant evidence for Creation. A second
important point here is that none of its organs exhibit any
transitional form features.
Darwinists are engaging in the same offensive techniques with this new
fossil that once again reveal their own helplessness. THEY ARE TRYING
TO GATHER SUPPORT USING FALSE TECHNIQUES, by writing articles, holding
conferences and disseminating the false idea this is a transitional
form from the mouths ofthe most renowned Darwinist professors in the
world's best known journals. They have beendoing the same thing forthe
last 150 years. They always try to deceive people with the same soiled
propaganda and to impose the worst deception of the centuryon them
using the same cunning stratagems. But the media are no longer suited
to such things.
Darwinism HAS BEEN ENTIRELY ELIMINATED BY THE EXISTENCE OF 250 MILLION
FOSSILS THAT ALL PROVE CREATION.
IT HAS BEEN SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN that the handful of fossils
Darwinists claimed were SUPPOSEDLY TRANSITIONAL FORMS HAVE ALL BEEN
INVALIDATED.
The Atlas of Creation HAS DECLARED TO THE WORLD THE FACT THAT THERE IS
NO SUCH THING AS EVOLUTION, a fact which Darwinists have tried to
cover up for the last 150 years.
That is why nobody any longer listens or gives credence to these
methods of deception that have persisted for the last 150 years.
And Darwinists are well aware of this. And that isthe reason for their
feelings of despair, misery and defeat. - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

Fathwa, - What should be said afterTayammum?
Question
Is there a recommended Thikr tobe said after Tayammum (dry ablution),
just as we do after Wudhoo' (ablution)?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify
that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad
, is His Slave and Messenger.
There is no evidence that indicates that there is a certain Thikr to
be said after Tayammum. Nevertheless, the Shaafi'i scholars stated
that itis recommended to utter the two testimonies of faith. They
mentioned that as one of the Sunnahacts of Tayammum. Stating the
recommended acts in Tayammum, An-Nawawi a Shaafi'i scholar, said: "
The eleventh: it is recommended to follow Tayammum by uttering the two
testimonies of faith, just as we mentioned in Wudhoo' and Ghusl. "
Al-Khateeb Ash-Shirbeeni a Shaafi'i scholar, said: " Uttering the two
testimonies of faith means the Thikr that is recommended to be said
after Wudhoo': Ash-hadu anlaa 'ilaaha 'illa Allaah, wahdahu la
shareeka lah,wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa Rasooluh (I bear
witness that there is no god worthy or worship but Allaah Alone, there
are no partners beside, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger).
Muslim reported this Hadeeth on the authorityof 'Uqbah ibn 'Aamir
Al-Juhani from the Messenger of Allaah . "

There are three disabled brothers who can only move their limbs with
extreme difficulty. They cannot perform Wudhoo' unless there is

Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify

Scholars stated that a person who is unable to use water because he
hasan amputated limb or is paralyzed is required to seek help from
someone else in order to help him perform Wudhoo' (ablution) or
Tayammum (dry ablution) if using water is harmful to him. If he cannot

Fathwa, - Touching religious bookswithout Wudhoo’
Question
What is the Sharee'ah ruling on touching the religious books written
in languages other than Arabic, like English, Urdu, and Persian, when
one is not in a state of Wudhoo'? Are they like Arabic religious books
in this respect?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify
that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad
, is His Slave and Messenger.
Whether one is in a state of Wudhoo' or not, he/she is permitted to
touch the religious books, regardless if they are in Arabic or any
otherlanguage. This is applicable unless the Quranic quotations in
these books are more than others. Nevertheless, it is better that one
touches these books when he is in a state of Wudhoo' out of exalting
the mention of Allaah in these books.

••• AMAZING ZAMZAM WATER •••
••• AMAZING ZAMZAM WATER •••
SUBAHANALLAH
ZamZam water level is around 10.6 feet below the surface. It is the
miracle of ALLAH SWT thatwhen ZamZam was pumped continuously formore
than 24 hours with a pumping rate of 8,000 liters per second, water
level dropped to almost 44 feet below the surface.
BUT WHEN THE PUMPING WAS STOPPED, the level immediately elevated again
to 13 feet after 11
minutes.
8,000 liters per second means that
8,000 x 60 = 480,000 litersper minute
480,000 liters per minutes means
480,000 x 60 = 28.8 Million liters per hour
28.8 Million liters per hour means
28,800,000 x 24 = 691.2 Million liters per day....
So they pumped 690 Millions liters of ZamZam in 24 hours, but It was
re-supplied in 11 minutesonly.
There are 2 miracles here,
* The First that ZamZam was Re-filled immediately, &
* The Second is that ALLAH Holds the Extra- ordinarily powerful
Aquifer for not throwing extra
ZamZam out of the well, Otherwise the world will SINK.
It is the translation of theword ZamZam, which means Stop !!!!!!!!!!!!
Stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Said by
Hajirah Alaih As Salaam.
Zimam is an Arabic word, it is the rope / REIN attached to bridle or
noseband & it is used / pulled to stop the running animal.
Zamzam water has no colour or smell, but it has a distinct taste

The spread of Islam in theBalkans – II
Military and political relations
The first part of this article highlights the ways in which Islam was
introduced in the Balkans, with the trade relations being the primary
focus. In this part, other factors are highlighted, namely: military
and political relations with Muslim countries.
By 634, the Muslims, in their attempt to spread Islam to every
possible area, had started to attack the borders of the Byzantine
Empire, and made the first attempt to conquer Constantinople (now
Istanbul). Some years later, in 717-718, the Muslim army under the
commandof Maslamah surrounded Constantinople, however, they could not
conquer it. In this expedition, the Muslim army penetrated as far as
Adrianople (now Edirne) and Salonika, and this was known as the first
contact by the Muslim armies with the Balkan nations. They also built
a mosque near Gallata, known as the Arab Mosque. This ledsome Arabs
(Muslims) to settlein Constantinople and Salonika.
In the 9 th century, the Muslims were more direct in their intentions
towards the Balkan Peninsula. This was simple to understand because
they conquered Crete in 823, Sicily in 827, and some parts of the
Southern Italy as well, and the Balkan Peninsula was next in line.
During 840-841, the Muslims conquered Taranto, Italy, and undertook
incursions into the Balkan Peninsula, conquering Budva, Kotor, Rosi,
and Rijeka. They even surrounded Dubrovnik for fifteen years, but
without any success. This was the time when the Illyro-Albanians had
their firstcontacts with the Muslim armies. They kept trying to take
over the Balkan Peninsula until 1023 whenthey lost control of the
Southern Italy.
The traces of this new civilization are to be found everywhere. Nearby
the cathedral of Trogir, there is a statue of an Arab man wearing
turban, which is a sign of well established relationships. There also
are the tombs of two Arabs, which is evidence that they must have been
living there for some time.
On the other hand, the conquest of Spain by the Muslims opened a new
chapter in their relations with the Balkan nations. Some of the Slav
tribes, especially the Slovenians and Croats, had good relations with
the Muslim Spain. In the royal court of Haakimi I (791-822) there were
2000 guardsof Croatian origin. Such a large number of guards indicated
the extensive relations between them.
This variety of military relations was extended to the politics,
too.The Muslim countries had cordial relationship with their Balkan
counterparts. In 856, the Serb king, Mikhail III, sent his envoy to
the Caliph Al-Mutawakkil Ibn Ar-Rasheed of the Abbasid dynasty to
arrange a form of debate on religious matters.
In 922, moved by the Islamic teachings, the Bulgarian king sent an
envoy to Caliph Al-Muqtadir of the Abbasid dynasty to convey his
family's decision to embrace Islam.
In this point, well known are the contacts that Caliph Haroon
Ar-Rasheed had established with the European rulers. He had sent his
envoy to the Serb king, Carl the Great, in order to establish cordial
and reciprocal relations.
The Croat ruler, Prince Tomislav, had good relations with caliph
Abdur-Rahmaan III and even usedto exchange gifts. Abdur-Rahmaan III
had sent envoys to all the Slav kingdoms to discuss and charter their
future relations.
The Europeans, the Balkan nations included, kept continuous contacts
with the Muslims—the Fatimids (969-1171), the Ayyubids (1171-1250) and
the Mamluks (1250-1517)—because of various interests, trade being one
of them.
The Slavs were allies to the Muslims against the Roman and Byzantine
Empires. However, their relations with the Illyro-Albanians will
define the future military and political actors of theBalkan
Peninsula. At the beginning, those relations were cordial, but changed
rapidly.
Yet, there were various contacts between the Muslims and the
Illyro-Albanians. The fact that the Illyro-Albanians were ruled by
theforeigners—the Roman and Byzantine Empires, the Serbs, etc.—means
that they were almost never identified as an independent political
entity.
Missionaries and migrations
Maybe the most important factor that influenced the rapid spread of
Islam among the Illyro-Albanians was the work of missionaries and
migrations of different groups of people. There are indications that
travelers and theologian visited almost every part of the peninsula
centuries before the Ottomans appeared and played an important role in
preaching Islam. This was in some way assisted by the fact that the
Muslims controlled manyterritories around the Balkan Peninsula
(Southern Italy, some Greek islands, the Asia Minor, etc.), and by the
incursions of theMuslim armies as well.
Maybe the most important among the migrations was a group of Turkish
Muslims who settled in Southern Hungary (nearthe border with the
Byzantine Empire) and somewhere near theOhrid Lake (Macedonia) as well
(almost in the center of the peninsula). This was the time when the
first concentrated Muslim dwellings were seen in the peninsula.
The Russian Czar Theofil, while fighting in the Asia Minor, forced
many Muslims to migrate. They settled in the Balkan Peninsula in the
valley of the Vardar River. They came to be known the"Turks of
Vardar."
Yet, the presence of the Muslims in the Balkan Peninsula was so great
that the Christian kingdomscould no longer tolerate them. Thus, in the
13 th century, many crusades directed to the Middle East passed
through the peninsula and exterminated the Muslims living there. -

The spread of Islam in theBalkans – I
How the Islamic civilization emerged in the Balkan Peninsula is one of
the most complex problems and requires multi-dimensional research.
Unfortunately, many historic factsconcerning Islam and the Balkan
Peninsula have been "forgotten," or even distorted. This has been the
result of centuries of pressure from the Serb and European historians
and their political establishments .
The two ways that enabled the spread of Islam in the Balkans were :
(1) The military expeditions sent to extend the borders of the state
of Islam, and
(2) The persuasive powers of the Islamic teachings themselves made
people ultimately embrace it .
Insofar as the nations of the Balkan Peninsula are concerned, the
overwhelming historic evidence reveals that military expeditions were
of little significance in the spread of Islam. Thus, the teachings of
Islam were the crucial factor in winning people over. The
Quranicdeclaration that "there is no compulsion in religion," gave
people the feeling of freedom for the first time in centuries. The
very famous Albanian writer, S. Frashëri, observes: "Apart from the
usage of military might to spread Islam, there does exist another way
without turning to invasion or the force of arms, a way that is often
not mentioned by the historians." Arnold Toynbee considers this a
major point and mentions it in his book, too .
Looking back in history, it is easy to understand which way was the
most influential means of spreading Islam; the force of arms or
Islamic teachings. Most of the time, the Muslim armies only opened the
"door" for the Islamic civilization to present itself, and ultimately
the people would see the difference .
Islamic civilization entered the Balkan Peninsula mainly from theWest
through the contacts with Andalusia in Spain, from the South through
Mediterranean Seaand Sicily, and from the Northeast through Hungary.
Even though the evidence is minimal, after a serious analysis, the
abovequestion—how did Islam come to the Balkan Peninsula—would be
finally answered .
After all the research, three are the ways through which the Islamic
civilization gained its foothold in the Balkan Peninsula, and a
further elaboration of themwill follow .
Trade relations
The development of Islamic civilization and of the Muslims themselves
conditioned the expansion of trade. The goods produced were mainly
traded with neighboring nations, however, the traders often ventured
even further to far and unknown places. This is why that since the 9th
century trade relations between Europe and the Middle East through the
Mediterranean Sea has been booming. In these trade relations, the most
daring Europeans were those from Florence, Venice, Pizza, Genoa,
followed by the French, and Catalonians. The European merchants
through Egypt and Syria ventured far into the Far East .
The Illyro-Albanians had established trade relations with the Arab and
Turkish nations, andnot only the port-cities of the Adriatic Sea, but
the rural parts ofthe Balkan Peninsula inhabited bythem as well. Such
strong trade relations had been established since ancient times, and
continued into the pre-Ottoman and Ottoman periods .
The Arab gold and silver coins excavated in Potoci, near Mostar of the
present-day Bosnia-Herzegovina, date back to the time of Marwaan II
(744-750 C) which tells of the extensive trade relations the Muslims
had with the Balkan nations, first the Albanians and later the Slavs .
Port-cities along the Adriatic Sea like Dubrovnik, Tivari, Ulqini,
Durazzo, Valona, Himara, etc., andother Greek and Southern Italian
cities were centers of trade. During the 12th century, the well known
Muslim historians and travelers, Al-Idreesi and Ibn Hawkal, tell in
fine details the social and political situation of those places. They
also describe the road going through the Balkan Peninsula, from the
Aegean Sea along the valley of the Vardar River to the coasts of the
Adriatic Sea .
Usually, the Italian merchants traveled by sea, whereas the Muslims
mostly traveled overland. The merchants from Venice and Florence used
to traderegularly and exchanged their goods mostly in Istanbul and
Gallata. Well known are also the caravans from Dubrovnik to Istanbul,
and vice versa .
Such strong trade relations have had a great impact on the Balkan
nations. Apart from buying and selling, which was the primary
intention, the merchants broughtmany new ideas and changes. This was
intensified further whenthe Muslim merchants started to establish
themselves in some fortified and secured coastal cities. The first
Muslim colonies appeared. Though they were verysmall in the beginning,
they became larger, and even stronger. - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

The Da'wah of the Prophets
Calling to Allaah is the way of the Messenger Muhammad and his
followers, as Allaah, the Most High, Says (what means): "Say [O
Muhammad]: 'This is my way; I invite to Allaah with insight, I and
those who follow me. And exalted is Allaah; and I am not of those who
associate others with him.'" [Quran: 12:108]
Calling to Allaah was the mission of all the Messengers and their
followers, in order to bring the people out of darkness into light,
from Kufr (unbelief) to true Eemaan (faith), from Shirk (polytheism)
to Tawheed (monotheism), and from the Fire to Paradise. This call to
Allaah rests upon firm pillars, and is established upon foundations
which are absolutely essential. If any of these are missing, the
Da'wah (call to Islam) will not be correct and will not produce the
desired results - no matter how much time or effort is expended - and
this is the reality which we witness with regard to many of the
present-day calls which are not supported by those pillars and built
upon those foundations. These pillars, which support thecorrect
Da'wah, are clearly shown in the Book (the Quran) and theSunnah
(prophetic tradition), and can be summarised as follows:
1. Knowledge of that which one calls to:
Since the ignorant person is not suitable to be a Daa'ee (caller).
Allaah, the Most High, said to His Prophet (what means): : "Say [O
Muhammad]: 'This is my way; I invite to Allaah with insight
(Baseerah), I and those who follow me. And exalted is Allaah; and I am
not of those who associate others with Him...'" [Quran: 12:108]
'Baseerah' is knowledge. So the caller is certain to face those who
are scholars of misguidance, those who will attack him with doubts and
futile arguments in orderto rebut the truth. Allaah, the Most High,
Says (whatmeans): "…And argue with them in a way that is best..."
[Quran: 16:125]
2. Acting in accordance with that which he calls to:
This is so that he will be agood example - his actions attesting to
his words, and leaving no excuse for the opponentsof the truth.
Allaah, the Most High, informs us that His Prophet Shu'ayb said to his
people (what means): : "…I do not intend to differ from you in that
which I have forbidden to you; I only intend to reform as much as I
amable…" [Quran: 11:88]
3. Purity of intention (Al-Ikhlaas):
Da'wah should be made purely and sincerely, seeking Allaah's pleasure
to seek the Face of Allaah (and seeking His Reward)- not for show,
repute, status, leadership, nor desiring worldly goals. If any of
these goals adulterate it, the call is no longer for Allaah; rather it
is for one's own benefit or for the attainment of worldly goals.
Allaah informs us that His Prophets said to their people (what means):
: "…I ask of you for it [i.e., this message] no payment…" [Quran:
6:90] And (what means): : "…I ask not of you forit any wealth…"
[Quran: 11:29]
Let us take a glimpse at the way in which two of the well-known
Prophets, Nooh (Noah) and Ibraaheem (Abraham), may Allaah exalt their
mention, called to Allaah:
Nooh :
The name of Prophet Nooh has been mentioned in the Quran forty-five
times. Let us recall some of these Aayaat (verses) and Soorahs
(chapters). Allaah the Most High and Exalted says what means: "And We
certainly sent Nooh to his people, and he remained among them a
thousand years, and the flood seized them while they were wrongdoers."
[Quran: 29:14] And: "Indeed, We sent Nooh to his people, [saying]:
'Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment. He
said: 'O my people! Indeed I am to you a clear warner.'" [Quran:
71:1-2] And so came to pass a tradition by Allaah, the High and
Exalted, in which the propagation faced trials, ordeals etc. Along
with that, barriers were erected by the enemies of Allaah as a means
of standing in the way of the call to monotheism and towardsits
callers. This is the lengthy history of humankind, from the time of
the Prophet Nooh to our present day; full of dedicated powers standing
in the path of Da'wah to Allaah, the High and Exalted, being publicly
insurgent and intimidating, without shame or discretion. Prophet Nooh
remained among his people for a very long time, but none except a very
few believed his call.So the rest were taken away by the flood, as
they were wrong-doers.
Ibraaheem :
Indeed Prophet Ibraaheem was a trueMuslim, avoiding any creed except
that of Islam(submitting oneself to Allaah only, and following His
commands),and believing that Islam is the first and final message to
the whole of humanity. This was also the belief of those who succeeded
him from among his progeny: Ismaa`eel (Ishmael), Is-haaq (Isaac),
Ya`qoob (Jacob), and Al-Asbaat (the twelve descendants of Jacob who
form the twelve tribes of Israel), may Allaah exalt their mention.
They passed this creed on to Prophet Moosaa (Moses) and `Eesaa
(Jesus), may Allaahexalt their mention, and the matter finally
concluded with the Muslim descendents of Ibraaheem .
The story of Ibraaheem in the Noble Quran shows us that the
orderlyconduct of living, the manner of morals, and principles of
behaviour and ethics cannot be implemented and firmly upheld except if
the `Aqeedah (creed) connects the spirit with the body. Indeed,
Ibraaheem was at the peak of his youth when Allaah, the High and
Exalted, gave him maturity and adulthood, as he denounced the
worshipping of idols by destroying them. He ridiculed and mocked them,
and finally smashed them into pieces. Not only that, but he also
ridiculed the mentality of the people, and opposed them, saying (what
means): "Uff to you and to what you worship instead of Allaah. Then
will you not use reason?" [Quran: 21:67]
Thereafter, his people were overtaken by pride, which lead them to
offence, just as it always does the tyrant oppressors and the
powerless alike, when they have no proof. So, they resorted to
outrageous, tyrannical force, and severe punishment; they said to him
(what means): "…Burn him and support your gods – if you are to act."
[Quran: 21:68]
But, Allaah's mercy and assistance for those who call others to Him
totally voided their sayings and nullified their plan (to throw
Ibraaheem intoa blazing fire); Allaah Says (what means): "We [i.e.,
Allaah] said: 'O Fire! Be coolness and safety upon Ibraaheem." [Quran:
21:69] Take a good look at the 'father of prophets'. He suffered, but
was patient;and was gifted. In return,he was thankful, so the generous
end (of this conflict) was befitting to him because of his graceful
patience. From his progeny, the best of nations were sent out to the
people, guiding with the Command of Allaah, and establishing Allaah's
legislature upon guidance and light. So, similar action must be
displayed by the people of Da'wah: being patient in the face of
rejection, and in suffering in the Path of Allaah.

him from among his progeny: Ismaa`eel (Ishmael), Is-haaq (Isaac),
Ya`qoob (Jacob), and Al-Asbaat (the twelve descendants of Jacob who
form the twelve tribes of Israel), may Allaah exalt their mention.

Dought and Clear, - She is annoyed by the constant demands from her husband’s father for financial support even though he is able to work and earn a living.
I want to know if it is right to support my husbands parents even
though we both make$3000 a month. We have 2 daughters and owe$3600
debt. I dont know if there is a rule of having money for emergency,
but our surplus after deductions is $1000. I am a female and make
$1500. My husband makes$1500. Now, consider he is supposed to support
me and my daughters without my salary although I still put it in the
house. His father is 43 and lives in europe. They say we have to
support them. He has 2 other sons (22,25years old), one is married and
my husbands father has 2 twin daughters (14 years old). They do not
think to save money for winter, because that's how they live their.
Theydont work winter because there is no work. His father smokes 3
packs a day. His mother and all of them want to have things or buy
make up and stuff. Too modest. If i did that, i would not have money
for rent too. I dont buy make up and etc. They pay rent $170 dollars a
month. They live in an apartment. They recentlyturned down a job
beause they dont want to work 7 days a week baking bread at a bakery
which pays 300 euros. That is a good salary there. Overall, My
question is, Is it right or wrong to support HIS parents only,
although they are making bad decisions and are capable of working? His
parents only, father and mother, others not. the quran says to make
your parents happy? I am not sure if I have to support them even
though they are still ok to work. Theyjust dont want to work. They do
construction during summer and dontwant to work anything else. I dont
own a house,I want to buy a house for my kids, if i support them then
i cant do anything. I live in an apartment.
Praise be to Allah.
Firstly:
Undoubtedly obedience to parents, so long as it does not involve
disobedience towards Allah, is one of the greatest of righteous deeds
and acts of worship. This is a well-known basic principle in Islam.
The father has the right to take whatever he wants from his son's
wealth, but that is subject to conditions, one of which is that taking
it should not cause harm to his son and that he should not take from
him in order to give to someone else.
Moreover, he should not take from his son's wealth in order to wasteit
on extravagances or buy things that he does not need. This is more
obviously forbidden; in fact it is not allowed even if it is one's own
wealth and earnings, so how about if it is his son's earnings? See the
answer to question no. 9594 .
Secondly:
Spending on the father'smaintenance is only obligatory if the father
isin difficulty and unable to earn a living from a suitable job. If he
is not in difficulty or he is in difficulty but he is able to earn a
living from a suitable job, then his sonis not obliged to spend on
him, according to themore correct of the two scholarly opinions.
It says in Minah al-Jaleel, 4/416: Spending on the maintenance of
parents who are in financial difficulty is obligatory, even if they
have a servant and a house thatthey need but are no more than is
necessary. It seems that this is the case even if the father is able
to earn a living. Thisis the view of al-Baaji and those who agreed
with him. However al-Lakhmi says that rather he should be compelled to
work in hisprofession, and this is the correct view and is the view of
the author of al-Jawaahir. This is what appears to be the correct view
by analogy with the son, because in order for it to be obligatory for
the father to spend on his son, it is stipulated that the son should
be unable to earna living doing work that is not demeaning to him.
End quote. See: Haashiyat ad-Dasooqi, 2/523
It says in Kashshaaf al-Qinaa', 5/481-482:
We may sum up the conditions of it being obligatory to spend on
arelative in the following points: Firstly, that those on whom he is
spendingshould be poor, with no wealth or income to make them
independentof means so that they donot need someone else to spend on
them. If those on whom he is spending are well off and have sufficient
wealth or income, there is no obligation to spendon them, because the
condition is not applicable in this case. But if their wealth or
income is not sufficient for them, then he is obliged to top it up.
Secondly, the one who issupposed to spend on them should have
sufficient wealth to do so that is surplus to whathe needs to spend on
hisown maintenance and that of his wife and family. Thirdly, the one
who spends should be an heir of the one on whom he spends, either
according to the shares allocated by sharee'ah or because of blood
ties through the father.
End quote.
Thirdly:
The husband does not have the right to take from his wife's wealth
inorder to give it to his father, mother or siblings without her
consent. It is not permissible for the husband to take anything of his
wife's wealth except what she gives willingly.
See the answer to question no. 163541 .
What we think is that the son should give his father something by
wayof upholding ties of kinship, in such a way that will not adversely
affect your needs and will not be unfair to you,and he and his
siblings should encourage their father to work.
You could make your salary separate from your husband's salary, and
save all of your salary, and your husband can spend on you and the
children and shoulder the responsibility of living costs. This is his
basic duty in the first place. Then if there is anything left over, he
can use thatto uphold ties with his father in a way that will not
adversely affect you or be unfair to his children. Then he can add
whatever is left overto what you have of wealth, and you can put that
towards buying a house or you can save it for your needs.
But you have to be very careful not to let that choice lead to trouble
in your relationship with your husband. However, you are in a position
to evaluate the situation as you are living with him.
If you are afraid that that may lead to some trouble, then carry on as
you have been doing, and try to advise him to think of what is best
for you and your children whilst avoiding cutting off ties with his
father orfailing to uphold ties with him and treat him kindly, in ways
that will benefit him and not harm you. - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

Dought and Clear, - Ruling on working in a debt purchasing company.
Is it permissible for a Muslim to work in a company that specializesin
purchasing overdue debts and making a profit from them? The debts
could be anything from credit cards and loans to telephone bills.
Praise be to Allah.
Buying debts from their creditors for an immediate price that is lower
than the value of the debt comes under the heading of haraam
riba-based transactions. It combines riba al-fadl with riba
an-nasee'ah, so it is the sale of a debt for cash of a different
amount with a delay in payment. Al-fadl means that the debt is greater
than the amount of money paid and an-nasee'ah means that payment is
delayed until the time the debt becomes due.
There is also another problem that makes this transaction haraam,
which is ambiguity. There is no certainty thatyou will be able to
collect the debt that is owed, so it is something unknown, and the
Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade
ambiguoustransactions, as was narrated by Muslim (1513) from the
hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him).
There are fatwas from the scholars and resolutions of fiqh councils
stating that this transaction is haraam.
1.
The scholars of the Standing Committee for Issuing Fatwas said:
It is not permissible to buy or sell promissory notes, currently due
or deferred, for less or more than the amounts stated in them, because
this is regarded as blatant riba, and this transaction combines riba
al-fadl with riba an-nasee'ah, both of which are haraam on the basis
of the texts (of the Qur'an and Sunnah). End quote.
Shaykh 'Abd al-'Azeez ibn Baaz, Shaykh 'Abd al-'Azeez Aal
ash-Shaykh,Shaykh 'Abdullah ibn Ghadyaan, Shaykh Saalihal-Fawzaan,
Shaykh BakrAbu Zayd
Fataawa al-Lajnah ad-Daa'imah, 13/333
2.
It says in the resolution of the Islamic Fiqh Council belonging to the
Organization of the Islamic Conference issued during its
seventhsession:
Selling promissory notes is not permissible according to Islam,
because they lead to riba an-nasee'ah, which is haraam.
Reducing the deferred debt in order to expedite payment, whether at
the request of the creditor or the debtor ("reduce and paynow") is
permissible according to sharee'ah. It does not come under the heading
of riba that is haraam so long as it is not based on prior agreement,
and so long as it is decided between the creditor and debtor. If a
third party gets involved, it is not permissible because then it comes
under the ruling on selling promissory notes. End quote.
Resolution no. 66/2/7, Majallat Majma' al-Fiqh al-Islami, issue no. 7,
2/217. Promissory notes include checks, letters of credit and the
like.
3.
In the resolutions of the Islamic Fiqh Council of the Muslim World
League, in their sixteenth session, it says:
Secondly, forms of selling debt that are not permissible include:
(a)
Selling debt to the debtor for a deferred price that is greater
thanthe amount of the debt, because this is a form of riba and is
forbidden according to sharee'ah. This is what is called "rescheduling
the debt".
(b)
Selling the debt to someone other than the debtor for delayed payment
of the same type of wealth or otherwise, because this is a kind of
selling debt for a debt, which is forbidden according to sharee'ah.
Thirdly: some contemporary applications in the area of selling debt:
(a)
It is not permissible to sell promissory notes, cheques, letters of
creditetc., because that involves selling debt to someone other than
the debtor in a manner that involves riba.
(b)
It is not permissible to deal in riba-based promissory notes, whether
by issuing them, dealing in them orselling them, because they involve
riba-based interest.
(c)
It is not permissible to put debt in the form of documents or
contracts and sell them in a secondary market, because that comes
under the heading of selling promissory notes etc., which is mentioned
in item (a).
Statement no. 89/1/16:
Based on the prohibitionof this transaction, it is haraam to work in
thosecompanies and institutions that buy people's debts, whether in
the form of checks or letters of credit, or in theform of phone bills
and so on.
Those who go against the command of Allah should beware lest
someFitnah (trials and tribulations) befall them or a painful torment
be inflicted on them (cf. an-Noor 24:63).
The one who wants to work in those companies should understand that
whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will
compensate him with something better than it.
Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):
"And whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a
way for him to get out (from every difficulty).
3. And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine"
[al-Talaaq 65:2-3].
3.
He should strive hard to find halaal work. We askAllah, may He be
exalted,to help and guide him and to make him independent of means
with that which He has permitted so that he willhave no need of that
which He has forbidden.
And Allah knows best.

The woman who was the Master Of Bayazid Bustami (ra)
It is said that when Bayazid Bustami was asked who his master was, he explained:
She was an old woman. One day, I was possessedby such ecstasy and
yearning and sense of unity that not even a hair of anything else
could be found in me. In this selfless mood, I wentfor a stroll in the
desert, where I happened to meet an elderly lady burdened with a bag
of flour.
She asked me to carry the flour for her, but I was incapable of taking
it, so I beckoned to a lion to take the load. Thelion came up to me
and Ilaid the sack upon its back. I then asked the old lady what she
intended to say to the townspeople since I did not want them to
apprehend who I was.
"I'll tell them," she replied, "that I met a vain tyrant."
"What are talking about?" I exclaimed.
The lady explained thus, first asking: "Has the lionbeen put to trouble or not?"
"No," I answered. -
"Except for the fact that you burden down those whom God Himself has
not burdened!" she objected. "Is that not oppression?"
"So it is", I admitted.
"And, despite this", she continued, "still you desire the townspeople
to know that you have subjected a lion and are a miracle worker. Is
that not vanity?"
"Yes, it is", I confessed.
So I repented, experiencing abasementfrom my former exaltation. Indeed
that old woman's words performed the function of a spiritual guide and
master for me. - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

The words reflect one'sinner self
Mahmud was a very pious man, but he was not very attractive looking.
One day, he waswalking along the road, minding his own business, when
a lady came up to him, and started calling him names and abusing him.
This lady kept saying all kinds of nasty things, and Mahmud just
listened to her patiently. Finally, when she was finished calling him
names and abusing him, Mahmud just greeted her, smiled, and said
"and a nice day to you," and continued on his way.
Why did Mahmud, the pious man, behave this way?
It is because he knew that everything she said was just a reflection
of her own inner self.
If you use bad language, you are just making obvious to everybody how
far away you really are from Allah, since your words are in realitya
reflection of your own inner self.
