Question
Assalamu alaikum.Our daughter has got a proposal from a religious family.He is also religious, educated and of good moral charector.But he has white patch of vitiligo on his hand.This may become generalized making whole body white in later life and can also affect their children by 30%.This is rare.Can we move ahead with the proposal or is there evidence in Islam for rejecting proposal on medical grounds like vitiligo or is it unIslamic if we do not go ahead with the proposal.What if our parents disagree?Kindly answer within a week Insha Allah as we have to proceed. Jazakhallah Khair.

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammadis His slave and Messenger.
If you refer to vitiligo and not leprosy, then vitiligo is not among the diseases that are disgusting; it is for this reason that the scholarsdid not consider it among the diseases that give the spouse the choice to annul the marriage contract )in case he/she was not informed about it(.Al-Mardaawisaid: “As regards vitiligo, it is a change in the color of the skin, ….and it is not disgusting, so the spouse is not given the choice to annul the marriage contract.”
Moreover, this disease does not harm one’s health as stated by the specialists. Therefore, if this young man is religious and has a good moral conduct, then one should accept him as a husband for this girl.Abu Hurayrahnarrated that the Prophetsaid: “If a man whose religion and moral character are pleasing to you proposes to you, then let him marry.”]At-Tirmithi[ It might be that Allaah will bless this marriage and there will be much good in it.
Moreover, if that girl accepts him as a husband, then her guardian should not refuse him otherwise he is considered as preventing her from marriage without any sound reason.Al-Jalaal Al-Mahallifrom the Shaafi’i School of jurisprudence, said: “Preventing the girl from marriage without a sound reason happens if an adult girl who has a sound mind wants to marry a suitable and competent man and her guardian refuses to marry her off.”
In case the guardian refuses to marry her off, then she should try to convince him in a soft and gentle manner. If he refuses to marry her off, then she has the right to take her matter to a Muslim judge )to marry her off(.
The statement ofAl-Mahallicontinues as follows: “Preventing the woman from marriage without a sound reason should be confirmed to the Muslim judge so that he would marry her off, like if the guardian refuses to marry off the girl under his guardianship after he is ordered by the judge to do so.”

Question
I have been married for past 6 years and we have no kids due to medical reasons. We are staying abroad in gulf from the time of marriage. Also, due to medical reasons the relationship is reduced. We have undergone lot of medical treatment for having kids but the result was negative. Prior to my marriage i was undergoing treatment with the doctor, the biggest blunder we did was not informing about the treatment to my wife and her parents. My wife was working before but now she is at home and feels very lonely and misses having kids. Kindly advise what should be done since my wife is very depressed & unhappy and i feel like i have cheated her.

Being sterile is not considered among the defects the give the other party the right to invalidate the marriage contract; it is for this reason that the majority of the juristsare of the view that it is not an obligation )upon the husband( to inform the wife about it.
Hence, we advise you to continue seeking medical treatment. You and your wife should not give up hope; rather, you should supplicate Allaah as much as possible as He answers the supplication of people in distress. It is Allaah Who blessed the ProphetIbraaheem)Abraham(withIsmaa’eel)Ishmael( andIshaaq)Ishaq( while he was an old man, and He blessedZakariyya)Zachariah( withYahia)John( and He amended his wife for him and she became fertile after having been barren; may Allaah exalt the mention of all the Prophets and Messengers.
Indeed, the matter of having children is in the hands of Allaah; Allaah Says )what means(: }To Allaah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He creates what He wills. He gives to whom He wills female ]children[ and He gives to whom He wills males. Or He makes them ]both[ males and females, and He renders whom He wills barren. Indeed, He is Knowing and Competent.{]Quran 42:49-50[
Also, we advise both of you to seek the forgiveness of Allaah as much as possible as this is a means of having children; Allaah Says about the ProphetNooh]Noah[ )what means(: }And said, Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. He will send ]rain from[ the sky upon you in ]continuing[ showers. And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers.{]Quran 71:10-12[
On the other hand, it is permissible for you to look for a means to have children by artificial insemination as this is permissible provided some Islamic conditions are met as .

Hijaab, - France and the Hijaab - people who keep themselves pure!

The people of Loote, may Allaah exalt his mention, would practice homosexuality and considered this to be the norm while they considered purity to be the exception. Hence, they fought purity and those who called for it, at the forefront of whom was Prophet Loote, may Allaah exalt his mention. The one who would help them in their struggle against purity was his wife who would tell his people about what was happening to him. The natural end of those people was that the earth turned upside-down and the highest part of the city was made its lowest - upon them, together with the wife of Loote, may Allaah exalt his mention.
Loote, may Allaah exalt his mention, was saved by Allaah The Almighty along with those who believed in him. The story of Loote, may Allaah exalt his mention, was mentioned in more than one chapter of the noble Quran and it affirmed the end that those people deserved. Allaah The Exalted caused the earth to swallow them and rained upon them stones of hard clay. This story was mentioned in many chapters like the chapter ofHoode,Al-Hijr,Al-Anbiyaa’,Ash-Shu‘araa’,An-NamlandAs-Saaffaat. We will simply quote the verses of the chapter ofAn-Namlin order to show the extent of this people's deviated thinking as they argued in spite of the fact that they had reason and insight. Allaah The Almighty Says )what means(:}And ]mention[ Loote, when he said to his people, “Do you commit immorality while you are seeing? Do you indeed approach men with desire instead of women? Rather, you are a people behaving ignorantly.” But the answer of his people was not except that they said, “Expel the family of Loote from your city. Indeed, they are people who keep themselves pure.” So We saved him and his family, except for his wife; We destined her to be of those who remained behind. And We rained upon them a rain ]of stones[, and evil was the rain of those who were warned.{]Quran 27:54-58[
These verses reveal that the people of Loote, may Allaah exalt his mention, insisted on their homosexuality and their criminal acts. Their answer to his question that was meant to express deploration and censure, and their request to expel Loote, may Allaah exalt his mention, and his family were because they were people who kept themselves pure. Thus, purity and chastity are justifications for being expelled from the countries of the perverted and deviated.
The Muslims’ suffering in France
These very justifications are the same that the fanatical colonizing crusaders raise against Muslims in France. Let us put the issue ofHijaabaside and consider the horrible and detestable discrimination that the Muslims are suffering from all over France. In spite of the fact that they represent the second largest power after the Catholics as the number of Muslims is five million, three million of whom have French nationality, and the rest of whom are residents who have lived there for a long time, there is not one single Muslim minister in France. There are no Muslim officials in the French administration, even on the lowest levels. The Muslims there usually live in the poor quarters and have a lower standard of living than the Jews and the Catholics. Despite this, they serve the French country sincerely and give it their effort and time. The fanatics refuse to let them have a humanitarian existence or respectful entity. They simply want them to be slaves with no religion, creed, culture or identity!
Hijaabterminates the republican system
France is full of naked women, prostitutes, drug-addicts, gays and libertines. However, this is not a serious problem for France. The only thing that disturbs it on the strategic and national levels is theHijaabof the Muslim French woman who declares her Muslim identity.Hijaabhas become a sign and a badge for fanatical France and not deemed to be part of the Islamic creed that makes the woman adhere to chastity and purity. France thinks that they should get rid of this sign as it causes an imbalance in the secular equation and threatens to put an end to their republican system.
Similarity between two ways of thinking
Undoubtedly, there is a similarity between the people of Loote, may Allaah exalt his mention, in their deviated logic against those who keep themselves pure, and the French fanatics who are againstHijaab. They both have minds, insight, knowledge and understanding, however, their perversion and fanaticism throw their shadows on everyone. The people of Loote, may Allaah exalt his mention, received their punishment in the past and I do not think that the French fanatics will escape the divine punishment. Allaah The Almighty Says )what means(:}And those cities - We destroyed them when they wronged, and We made for their destruction an appointed time.{]Quran 18:59[ After all, oppression is the cause of destruction and all that leads to it regardless of time and place.
Hijaab is not the issue
In all cases,Hijaabis not the issue, even though it is part of it. It is the issue of Islam that the fanatical crusaders hate and fight day and night. They achieve great victories in this regard. However, in spite of all these victories, they fear Islam and the Muslims because the Islamic values run counter to their evil ambitions, aggressive aims and criminal attitudes against others through colonization, looting, humiliation and enslavement.
The paradox
The paradox lies in the fact that Islam is spreading on their own ground and among their youth whom Allaah The Almighty guides to His religion, its principles and legislation. Recently, it was said that a great number of Europeans and Americans reverted to Islam after the mysterious attacks of 9/11 that the Muslims were accused of planning. A great number of Americans and Europeans rushed to buy copies of the noble Quran in order to know what it says. The result of this was that some of them reverted to Islam and their women adhered toHijaab. This terrified and disturbed the oppressive and fanatical crusaders who are still following the method of Peter the Hermit.
Christianity is far away from the colonizing crusaders. The barbaric colonizers used the cross as a symbol of Christianity, while they were slaughtering and killing both Muslims and Christians )The third Crusader’s campaign headed towards Byzantine instead of Jerusalem and started killing the Christians, making them homeless and looting the country, which was absolutely awful(. This is what the contemporary crusaders are repeating in a hysterical way that is no less dangerous than the ancient crusaders as they think thatHijaabindicates the spread of Islam in their community. This is what Western people focus on and scrutinize in order to know its future and effect on the social, cultural, and political balance in the West as some researchers think. Today, Islam is prevailing in the streets of Europe and it makes the Europeans continually wonder about it and about the people who are purified byHijaab, chastity and purity and who do not flock under the banner of immorality, addiction or perversion.
This is what the fanatical colonial governments regard as a danger that threatens its existence in the long or short term. Regardless of what happens, the campaign againstHijaabwill only increase the Muslims’ adherence and sense of belonging to their religion and their desire to defend it and Allaah The Almighty is predominant over His affairs.
