*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

There is no command in the Qur'an that says '...laughter is from satan, a smile is from Allah’. Allah says, “Do not say about what your lying tongues describe: 'This is halal and this is haram.''

our Prophet (saas) has a hadith; 'Laughter is from satan. A smile is
from Allah.' In your program, masha'Allah, there is always
laughter…"
Look let me tell you something. The Companions were laughing out
loud. In the verse it is said that believers laugh at the situation
of the polytheists out loud. Allah humiliates them; He shames them
in the hereafter. They grovel. They try to escape from hell. They
try to escape from where they came from; they jump and fall down.
They think that they could get out of there. They think that they
found some way to escape and they scheme about it. Muslims see them
and laugh out loud sitting on their thrones. Allah says, "So today
those who have faith are laughing at non-believers." They laugh at
polytheists out loud. They do not smile. They laugh out loud.
However TODAY BELIEVERS LAUGH AT THOSE WHO ARE NON-BELIEVERS.
SO TODAY WHO HAVE FAITH ARE LAUGHING AT NON-BELIEVERS, ON COUCHES,
GAZING IN WONDER. (Surat at-Mutaffifin, 34-35)
Laughter brings relief and opens the mind. There are people who cry
all the time. They cry from morning to night. What do they say?
They say, "Cry all the time. Don't laugh." When a person feels like
laughing, he laughs. Why "...smile a little"? Does it have a
standard? This is wrong. A Muslim can laugh, as he likes. He is
joyful and cheerful.
If we were to act according to those false hadiths of yours, let me
tell you, it would be impossible. It is also said, "Kill those who do
not pray." Women are accepted as only half a person according to
one hadith. It is said that they are half a person and they could
never become rulers. It is said, "Do the opposite of what they
say." According to the false explanations of what you call hadiths,
these are so; but all of these are fabricated and none are
paralleled in the Qur'an.
A hadith is a hadith only if it is in agreement with the Qur'an.
Laughter; you laugh as you like. However with the bigots, that's not
the case. According to you, we cannot sit at a table. We have to
sit on the floor. We cannot also wear a jacket. It is also wrong to
have a hair cut like this. There is no end to it. According to the
false hadiths you mentioned, when a woman, a donkey or a pig is
passing by, you cannot pray. He will not pray and then you will
kill him. He will not give alms and then you will kill him. He will
not fast and then you will kill him. What kind of religion is this?
None of these things are in the Qur'an. Allah says in the verse,
"THERE IS NO COMPULSION IN RELIGION ..." (Surat al-Baqara, 256) What
do you say? You say, "It is forbidden to laugh." Laughter is
forbidden. Music is also forbidden. You will not listen to music.
You will not sit at a table. You will not use forks and spoons. You
also cannot use a toothbrush.
Those who did evil used to laugh at those who had faith.
When they passed by them, they would wink at one another.
When they returned to their families, they would make a joke of them.
When they saw them, they would say, 'Those people are misguided.'
But they were not sent as guardians over them.
(Surat Al-Mutaffifin Suresi, 29-33)
Look Allah says, "Non-believers were laughing at believers in this
world ." Sinners are laughing at believers. Allah says, " When they
passed by them, they would wink at one another. " Now they are
mocking the system of the Mahdi in their own way. Surely, Allah is
beyond that. They are also mocking the Prophet Jesus (pbuh). Allah
says, " When they returned to their families, they would make a
joke of them. " They were saying, " When they saw them, they would
say, 'Those people are misguided.' " Pay close attention here. Look
at what they say to believers: " Those people are misguided. " What
are they going to say to the Mahdi? "Misguided." What does Allah say
in the verse? He says, " They would say, 'Those people are
misguided.' " They will use the same words for the Mahdi. Even our
Prophet (saas) says in one hadith, "The scholar in Istanbul will say
to the Mahdi, 'This man is misguided. He is an apostate. Do not
approach him'" This is the hadith. Allah says in the verse, " But
they were not sent as guardians over them. " Look, this is very
meaningful. " But they were not sent as guardians over them ." They
are trying to be guardians over the believers. "So today those who
have faith are laughing at non-believers." They are not smiling;
they are laughing out loud. "On their couches, gazing in wonder"
Allah says. "Have the non-believers been rewarded for what they did?"
Allah says. Abide by the commandments in the Qur'an. Do not follow
the wrong things. Do not make wrong judgments in the name of Allah.
Look. I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed satan. Allah says,
" Who could do greater wrong than someone who invents lies against
Allah or denies His Signs? Evildoers are certainly not successful.
" There is a verse: "Who could do greater wrong than someone who
invents lies against Allah… " (Surah Yunus, 17) Almighty Allah says,
"Do not say about what your lying tongues describe" , this is very
meaningful. Allah says, "Do not say about what your lying tongues
describe: 'This is halal and this is haram.'" (Surat an-Nahl, 116).
What do you say? You are trying to explain to Muslims a commandment
that is not in the Qur'an as the commandment of Allah, and you
invite Muslims to follow your lead. Allah is surely beyond that, but
you are forging a new Qur'an, a new book, a new commandment, a new
way. Allah is truly beyond that. You consider the commandments of
Allah, the Holy Qur'an, as somehow insufficient. (Allah and the
Qur'an are surely beyond that). No way. Allah says that making
additions to the religion is illegal (haram). (Adnan Oktar,
February 2 nd , 2013: A9 TV)
Among them is a group who distort the Book with their tongues so
that you think it is from the Book when it is not from the Book.
They say, 'It is from Allah,' but it is not from Allah. They tell a
lie against Allah and they know it. (Surah Al 'İmran, 78)

The background of suicide bombers who claim to act in the name of Islam

Following the World War II, the the psyche and minds of the people
living in Islamic countries in the the Middle East were affected by
the post war era and introduction of Communism . This new outlook,
which was in no way compatible with the tenets of Islam, was
stealthily changing the mindset of people on these lands that were
once shaped with the beautiful values of the Qur'an for centuries.
This also had its impact on the nascent political structures
gradually forming in the region.
Given this history, the dreadful state of Syria in our modern day
cannot be attributed to Islam. It is surely a legacy of the
communist ideology that was planted in those lands whose borders
were artificially created following the collapse of the Ottoman
Empire. In the absence of a ruling system predicated on Islamic
tenets like that of the Ottoman Empire, the countries that emerged
became vulnerable to ideologies that were either Western or
Eastern, (Communist Soviet Union and China), and did not value or
give importance to the ideas of love, brotherhood, and compassion,
or simply humane ideas.
Syria is just one example. When Hafez Assad came to power with the
Ba'ath Party in the 1960s, the state started to exert violence over
its own people. This type of harsh and cold rule by the Ba'ath party
became widely known in the world as the news of the horrible Hama
massacre dominated the international headlines of the press.
Syria was not the only country in the Middle East that was subjected
to the inhuman practices of the Ba'ath Party. The Party also became
influential in Egypt and Iraq. Meanwhile other Arab countries
including Iran silently came under the sway of communist China.
Another part of the Middle East whose roots were detached from
Islam and surrendered itself to communism was Palestine. The
al-Fatah movement that had grown in this country was not hiding the
ideology by which it was acting upon.
The conflicts and bloodshed that raged throughout the Middle East
were a result of communism coupled with Arab nationalism that
steadily intensified. Withn the regimes that identified with
communism and socialism, it is then not surprising that such
violent developments would take place, it is actually a part of the
normal course of events.
These countries - as systems and individuals – having gone through a
transformation to communism and socialism, and departed Islam still
kept their names as "Islamic Republics", and were thus always
identified with Islam. This being the case, all the crimes,
murders, mass killings perpetrated by these regimes and individuals
were always incorrectly attributed to Islam and Muslims.
A suicide bomber is a typical example. A suicide attack happening
in any corner of the world today is being identified incorrectly
with Islam and it is perceived by the West, especially those who
are unfamiliar with the tenets of Islam, as a practice encouraged
by the religion of Islam.
Islam, however, is a religion that gives the utmost value to human
life. It is a religion based upon humanity, love, compassion,
brotherhood, tolerance, justice, and peace. It treats the "human
being" as a very precious being. Communism, on the other hand, is a
savage system that in no way appreciates an individual as a human
being. It is founded on the tenets of Darwinism and the theory of
evolution, which incorrectly expounds social darwinism, namely that
the strong are eligible to survive while the weak are doomed to
perish. Thus one should not be surprised by the actions of
communists, since it is a system based on a cruel set of ideas.
Therefore communist regimes do not hesitate to kill people, even if
they are of their own nation, race or ethnicity. Indeed, killing
people is such an indispensable and inherent part of this system
that, committing suicide or taking part in suicide bombings,
becomes acceptable, while it is openly an outrageous act condemned
by God in the Qur'an.
According to Islam, suicide is an unlawful act no different from
killing another person. In other words, committing suicide equates
to murder. It is God Who gives life to a person and it is only He
Who can take back that life. A person does not have the right to
kill himself thinking that it is his own life and thus he can decide
when to put an end to that life. Therefore a person who is ready to
kill innocent children, women, that is anyone, together with
himself, openly acts against the provisions of the Qur'an and thus
can by no means be a Muslim. Such a person's mind and soul is
totally divorced from Islam and thus Islam cannot be held
accountable for such crimes.
As we have seen, individuals, communities and systems in the Middle
East of today have gone through a grand transformation. The norms
that shaped the behavior of the citizents of the Middle Eastern
countries aare no longer purely based on Islam. Communism,
socialism and other ideologies that are completely against Islam
have entered the equation and have been influencing them for a
quite long time. Since this is the root cause of radical and
extremist mindsets, one has to reflect and think deeply about the
underlying motivations for the behavior of radicals and extremists
in order to make a correct judgment, otherwise we would attribute a
false label on an entire religion.

Islam Encourages Scientific Progress

The word Islam conjures up a disturbing picture in the minds of some
people outside the Muslim world. It is a fact that many in the West
imagine Islam to be a faith far removed from modern life, closed to
science and that attaches no value to a good quality of life. The
first reason for this erroneous belief is that various people who
claim to be Muslims in fact have views and lifestyles that fly in
the face of it. However, someone looking in from the outside cannot
recognize that and will be unable to evaluate matters accurately.
Another important reason is associated with the first: Most people
are unacquainted with the truths of Islam and the correct
interpretation of the Quran. In point of fact, these people who
make incorrect evaluations are not only from outside the Islamic
world; many people within the Islamic world as well are unable to
properly understand the Quran. The reason for the appearance of
mistaken and radical views is that the Quran is not correctly
understood.
The only point of reference to truly learn about Islam is the Quran
but we see that some people do not interpret the Quran correctly and
produce their own perverse and foolish deductions from it in order
to support their own misguided and superstitious beliefs. One of the
subjects most easily capable of being misinterpreted in this way is
science and scientific activity.
Science is an important reality that enables us to know the universe
we inhabit, the Earth and our own bodies and to be able to
appreciate all the beauties around us. Scientific advances have
enlightened human life and opened the door to a healthier way of
living. For example, by means of medical advances the average human
life span today is much greater than it was a century ago. Even in
the 1950s, average worldwide life expectancy was 47, whereas
according to U.N. figures it had risen to 68 by 2010. Similarly,
advances in other branches of science have made our lives easier and
more comfortable.
Today, for instance, the benefits of the Internet are obvious. By
means of the Internet we can learn at once what is happening in
different parts of the world. Communications among people have
grown and become far easier. New concepts such as e-commerce have
bestowed a new dimension to our understanding of economics.
Information about a subject one wants to investigate can now be
accessed immediately. The Internet is just one of the benefits that
science has bestowed on mankind over the last century and those
nations making greater uses of the benefits of science now live at a
much more advanced level. Had science not progressed as much as it
has, we would very likely still be living dark and backward lives
devoid of many facilities.
For a sincere Muslim, science is a blessing that God has bestowed on
mankind. Islam advocates a rational approach. In many verses of
the Quran, God advises people to use their intelligence. He
emphasizes the need for us to think rationally and scientifically,
speaking of, "...those deeply rooted in knowledge..." and "...only
people of intelligence pay heed." (3:7). Another verse advises
people to think about the formation of the universe: "...reflect on
the creation of the heavens and the earth ..." (3:191)
Use is still being made today of the work of various Muslim
scientists in the past who understood that Islam encourages
scientific investigation. People such as Avicenna, Farabi and
Battani were among the leading scientists of the Middle Ages.
Avicenna's book "The Canon of Medicine" (al-Qānūn fī al-Tibb) was
used as a text book in the universities of Montpellier and Louvain
until 1650. Battani's "Zij" was regarded as a most important
astronomical text, and his work inspired that of Copernicus. A
crater on the moon was even named after him as a mark of respect:
"Albategnius." Al-Khwarizmi's work "Compendious Book on Calculation
by Completion and Balancing" is regarded as the first work in
which the first systematic solution of linear and quadratic
equations are presented. The very term "algebra" comes from
"al-jabr," one of the methods for solving quadratic equations in
al-Khwarizmi's book. Many other examples of contributions to
scientific progress by Muslim scientists could be given.
Today, too, there are a great many scientists, academics and
intellectuals who have emerged from the Islamic world and serve all
mankind. The spread of scientific thinking and concentration on
rationality will further increase the numbers of such people and the
contributions they make. That is why it needs to be better
understood that the Quran encourages rational thinking and
scientific research and activity. In this way, more enlightened
people will appear from within the Islamic world and bearing in
mind that societies are today in ever greater interaction with one
another, such progress will clearly be of great benefit to both the
Islamic world and to the world as a whole.

still i loved him and never forget to think of him every single night.
until i realize that being bitter will not make me a better person. i
tried to have communication on him and i did it. i tell him all my
feelings that have been hidden for almost 2 years. and told him that i
will try my best to forget all the things we shared and all the things
that made fool again. until now im trying my best. maybe a long time
is needed to heal the wounds that makes my heart break.
i told him that."balang araw makakaya ko ulit tingnan siya ng wala ng
anumang nararamdaman pa" and i really mean it. that why until now im
trying to.
moving on is really a hard thing to do if you really love that person
more that you could ever loved. =(
