*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

praise for the Qur’an bearer

►● ╠▓╣♥ ♥╠▓╣

A person is not honoured or raised
Except by what he knows and has memorised
For that reason the bearers of Qur’an
Are the nobles of this Ummah and its righteous
And they are the people of Allah amongst Mankind
And indeed our Lord has boasted of them
He spoke of them in the Qur’an, and it is sufficient
That He gives it (the Qur’an) to those He has chosen
in the Hereafter, it is an ardent intercessor
And its statement is something surely heard
it a person is given the dominion and immortality
And likewise, he is given the crown of honour
He'll read and ascend the ranks of Paradise by it
And his parents will also be clothed by it
So let a person strive to attain it
And let him never tire of its recitation.
__
* Due to the hadith: ‘Indeed Allah has people from amongst Mankind. The people of Qur’an, they are the people of Allah and His Specialties.’ [Ahmad, Ibn Majah]
* Due to the verse in Soorah Fatir, " We gave the Book for inheritance to such of Our slaves whom We chose…”[Fatir: 32]
* Due to the hadith: ‘The Qur’aan will meet its companion on the Day of Resurrection when his grave is opened for him, in the form of a pale man. It will say to him, ‘Do you recognize me?’ He will say: ‘I do not recognize you.’ It will say: ‘I am your companion the Qur’aan, who kept you thirsty on hot days and kept you awake at night. Every merchant benefits from his business and today you will benefit from your good deeds.’ He will be given dominion in his right hand and eternity in his left, and there will be placed on his head a crown of dignity, and his parents will be clothed with priceless garments the like of which have never been seen in this world. They will say: ‘Why have we been clothed with this?’ It will be said: ‘Because your son used to recite Qur’aan.’ Then it will be said to him: ‘Recite and ascend in the degrees of Paradise,’ and he will continue to ascend so long as he recites, either at a fast pace or a slow pace.’ (Ahmad, Ibn Majah)

Women site, - Fasting during Sha’baan

►● ╠▓╣♥ ♥╠▓╣

This is the great month of Sha`baan, most of which our beloved Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, used to fast. It is of paramount importance for us to keep alive this Sunnah and use it to get ready for the best time of the year to be a Muslim and feel like a Muslim—the month following this one, blessed Ramadan.
And what can be a better preparation than learning what the best example for humankind said about Sha`baan.
Usaamah ibn Zayd, may Allaah be pleased with him, said: "The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, used to fast so many days in succession that we would say: `He will never break his fast.' At other times he would go without fasting for so long until we said: `He will never again fast,' except for two days, which he would fast even if they occurred during the times he was not fasting consecutive days. Furthermore, he would not fast in any month as many days as he fasted during Sha`baan. I said: `O Messenger of Allaah! Sometimes you fast so much it is as if you will never break your fast. At other times you leave fasting for such a long period it is as if you will never again fast ]voluntarily[, except for two days that you always fast.’ He, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, asked:`Which two days are those?'I replied, `Monday and Thursday.' The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said:`Those are two days in which the deeds are presented to the Lord of the Worlds. I love that my deeds are presented ]to Him[ while I am fasting'.I said: `I do not see you fasting in any month like you fast during Sha`baan.' The Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, said:‘That is a month occurring between Rajab and Ramadan that many people neglect. It is a month in which the deeds ascend to the Lord of the Worlds, The All-Mighty and Majestic, and I love for my deeds to ascend while I am fasting.’” ]Ahmad and An-Nasaa'i[
And ‘Aa’ishah, the Mother of the Believers, may Allaah be pleased with her, said: "I did not see the Messenger of Allaah fast any month in its entirety except Ramadan. And I did not see him fast as frequently in any other month as he did during Sha`baan." ]Al-Bukhaari and Muslim[
Master Hadeeth scholar Zainuddeen ibn Rajab al-Hanbali, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said that "To fast in Sha'baan is ]to me[ better than fasting in the Sacred Months ]like the month of Rajab[. Also, the best of voluntary fasts are those done closest to Ramadan—before or after it- for they are, thus, like the voluntary so-called as-Sunan ar-Rawaatib prayers, which are done before and after obligatory prayers. ]One of the main reasons for such Rawaatib[ is that they compensate for one's shortfalls in the manner he made those obligatory prayers. The same may be said of the fasts observed ]immediately[ before ]as many as one chooses to in Sha`baan[ and after Ramadan ]the six days of Shawwaal[. Furthermore, like as-Sunan al-Rawaatib of prayer are better than other voluntary prayers, so are the immediate fasts observed before and after Ramadan. They are better than other voluntary fasts."
The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said:"The best fasting after ]i.e., second to[ Ramadan is that of ]the month of[ Muharram."]Muslim[.
So, which is a better month to fast in, Sha'baan or Muharram? Most scholars are of the opinion that the fasting in Sha'baan is better because of the Hadeeth narrated by Abu Daawood in his "Book of Sunan" that "The most beloved of months for the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, to fast in was Sha`baan, and his fasting in Sha'baan was continuous with his fasting in Ramadan." This authentic Hadeeth applies in the most general way to Sha'baan while the narration by Muslim may be seen as restricted to the first nine days of Muharram as indicated by other Hadeeths. And in addition to this and what Ibn Rajab, may Allaah be pleased with him, stated above, the Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, fasted most of Sha'baan and maintained that Sunnah until he passed away.
May Allaah accept your Fast! Ameen!

Women site, - Obscenity – the Root of Evil and Sins

►● ╠▓╣♥ ♥╠▓╣

There is no doubt that a virtuous person does not find it easy to utter obscenities lest he or she expose him/herself to the Wrath of Allaah The Almighty and disgrace in the eyes of people. Although vulgarity is certainly dispraised and forbidden, foul words indeed abound.
Motives behind this behavior
Obscenity originates from wickedness and ignobility. It is either motivated by the intention of harming others or is a habit acquired from socializing with evil and debauched people, who are accustomed to insulting others. Whatever the case, Allaah The Almighty has forbidden crude language in the verse )which means(:}Allaah does not like the public mention of evil except by one who has been wronged. And ever is Allaah Hearing and Knowing.{]Quran 4:148[
Moreover, in His Book, He illustrated obscenity as characteristic of hypocrites, describing their conduct with believers, saying )what means(:}But when fear departs, they lash you with sharp tongues, indisposed toward ]any[ good.{]Quran 33:19[
A believer does not imitate the insolent and crass people, preferring to stick to chivalry for the sake of preserving his or her honor. It was said in this regard, "Tolerating an abusive man is better than being like him and forgiving the ignorant is better than copying him."
Examples of obscenity
There are many situations and times when people of weak faith and bad manners resort to vulgarity. Imam Al-Ghazaali, may Allaah have mercy upon him, exemplified that by saying: “Situations of obscenity are various. They can generally be limited to any state that a person feels ashamed to overtly divulge. In this case, explicit words are considered obscenity. Therefore, one must discuss such issues in vague terminology.” Most of the relevant examples would be those concerning sexual intercourse and its related matters. While wicked people employ graphic and crass words when speaking about this, the righteous avoid such crude language and express themselves with figurative speech. Are we not aware that even Allaah The Almighty spoke indirectly about sexual intercourse, mentioning instead, words like touching, entering with ]women[ and companionship?
There is also obscenity in making remarks about women or defects in men that they may be ashamed of, such as a limp or baldness. Any such comments, if necessary, should not be explicitly referred to.
The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, classified obscenity as a branch of hypocrisy and said,"Indeed, Allaah hates the indecent and obscene person."Moreover, he, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, mentioned that vulgarity leads to Hell, when he said:"Modesty is from faith, and faith is in Paradise; ]whereas[, obscenity is from severity, and severity is in Hell."
Please note that crassness is also to use names of animals to describe people. Imaam An-Nawawi, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said: “Among the vilified words which are usually used is a person saying to his enemy, ‘O donkey; you goat; you dog’, and the like. It is ugly to utter these expressions because they are lies and harmful to others.”
Dear brother, the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, even forbade abusing roosters, when he instructed,"Do not insult the rooster, for it wakes ]people[ to perform prayers.''Bearing this in mind, could it be appropriate to affront people who bear witness to the testimony of truth ]i.e., Muslims[?
The admonition of the righteous predecessors
Our forefathers from the Companions and their successors were the farthest people from obscenity and indecency. They seriously warned others against this great evil which originates from lack of faith.
‘Abdullaah ibn Mas‘ood, may Allaah be pleased with him, said, "The most wicked trait a believer may possess is vulgarity." Similarly, Al-Ahnaf ibn Qays, may Allaah be pleased with him, said, "I will tell you about the worst of diseases: the crude tongue and bad morals."
That is why, when Abu Ad-Dardaa', may Allaah be pleased with him, saw an abusive woman, he remarked, "Had she been dumb, it would have been better for her."
We supplicate to Allaah The Almighty to purify us from whatever displeases Him; and may peace and blessings be upon the Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
