Story - Past Event:-/See the Beauty AroundYou:

We tend to think of beautiful places as being far away. We imagine
exotic lands like the Caribbean islands, the Mediterranean coast, the
Alps or the Himalayas, or anywhere in New Zealand, ha ha.
There is glory everywhere. Right now, in this moment, there is
something beautiful within the boundaries of your vision, or very
near.
From where I am sitting, through the kitchen window I can see a rose
bush. The pink roses are blooming and reaching for the sky, and it's
quite lovely ma-sha-Allah. I hear birds singing outside, and through
the front window I see a birds of paradise bush, with it's angular
orange flowers.
Closer at hand, on my desk is a lovely ornate metal vase from Egypt.
It is covered in intricate Islamic patterns with verses of the Quran
twining around the sides. There are other beautiful works of art in
the house if I take the timeto glance around – including a simple
artwork that my daughter Salma made by sticking different kinds of
leaves to a sheet of paper.
Beauty can be found in ordinary things as well. On the kitchen counter
I see two lemons cut in half, andbeside them a boiled egg. It reminds
me of an artist's tableau and makes me wish I were a painter. My
daughter is playing on the floor with her train set, andshe is the
jewel of my eye, ma-sha-Allah.
One of the reasons we fall into depression is that we focus on what we
don't have, or what we have lost; and we fail to see the blessings and
beauty that surround us.
Right now, look around you. Quiet your mind, and focus on beauty.
Remember that life is a gift, and a miracle, and a sign.
And the grazing livestock He has created for you; inthem is warmth and
[numerous] benefits, andfrom them you eat.
And for you in them is beauty when you bring them in [for the
evening],and when you send themout.
And they carry your loadsto a land you could not have reached except
withdifficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful.
And [He created] the horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride, and
[as] adornment. And He creates that which you do not know.
And upon Allah is the direction of the way, and among the various
paths are those deviating. And if He willed, He could have guided you
all.
It is He who sends down rain from the sky; from it is drink and from
it is foliage in which you pasture.
He causes to grow for you thereby the crops, olives, palm trees,
grapevines, and from all the fruits. Indeed in that is a sign for a
people who give thought.
And He has subjected for you the night and day and the sun and moon,
and the stars are subjected by His command. Indeed in thatare signs
for a people who reason.
And [He has subjected] whatever He multiplied for you on the earth of
varying colors. Indeed in that is a sign for a peoplewho remember.
And it is He who subjected the sea for you to eat from it tender meat,
and to extract fromit ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships
plowing through it,that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you
will be grateful.
And He has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it shift
with you, and [made] rivers and roads, that youmay be guided, And
landmarks. And by the stars they are [also] guided.
Then is He who creates like one who does not create? So will you not bereminded?
And if you should count the favors of Allah, you could not enumerate
them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Qur'an Ayath - Explanation :-/:-|Not everyone can be your friend…

Allah Ta'ala said,
"… And do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our
remembrance and who follows his desire and whose affair is ever [in]
neglect." [al-Kahf: 28]
As for good character, then 'Alqamah ibn Qays (rahimahullah) summed it
up in his final advice to his son as he was on his deathbed:
"O my son, if you ever feel the need to befriend and accompany men,
then accompany the one who protects you when you help him, adorns you
if you walk with him, and supplies you when your provisions run out.
Accompany the one who when you stretch forth your hands in goodness ,
he stretches his hand too, ifhe sees merit from you, he remembers it,
and if he sees bad from you, he remedies it. Accompany the one who
gives you when you ask , who steps up when you are silent, and who
consoles you when calamity overtakes you. Accompany the one who
believes you when you speak , entrusts you when you engage in work ,
and if you fall out, he prefers you to the fallout."
In such cases, it is said:
'Your real brother is he who stays with you
Who harms himself in order to help you
When hard times break you and scatter you
He becomes dispersed just so he can fix you'
But before all that, he mustbe knowledgeable after having attained
wara' (piety), so that you can benefit from his knowledge too. Luqman
said to his son, "O my son, sit with the scholars, crowd them with
your knees! For indeed, hearts come to life with words of wisdom just
like the dead earth comes back to life with the downpour of rain.""

''Advise'':-/:-/- What is written in the Quran about motherhood?

"And We have enjoined upon man to be kind to hisparents; in pain did
his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying
of a child to his weaning is thirty months. At length, when he reaches
the age of full strength and is forty years (old), he says, 'O my
Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Your favors, that You
bestowed me andupon both my parents; that I may do righteous deeds
that are acceptable to You; and be gracious to me with regards to (my
own) offspring. Surely, I turn to You repentant, and I wholly give
myself (to You)." (Qur'an 46:15)
Mothers are accorded a special place of honor and respect in Islam.
A man once came to Prophet Muhammad and asked, "O Messenger of God!
Who among the people is more worthy of my companionship?" The Prophet
replied, "Your mother." Then man then asked who next, the Prophet
replied "Your mother" again. The man repeated the question a third
time and got the same answer. The man asked once again, "Who next?"
Only then did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reply,
"Your father."
These, and other referencesin the Qur'an and incidents from the life
of the Prophet, clearly indicate the elevated status Islam has given
to mothers. A Muslim sees a mother as anicon of strength and courage,
tempered with compassion, kindness and love.

Qur'an Ayath - Explanation :-/:-> Your “Stuff” is Not a Part of You?

-
::-*You are not defined by the stuff you own. Your "stuff" is not a
part of you. Your "stuff" will break, disappear, or be left behindone
day.
In fact what truly defines our character is how we react to loss. If
we were stripped of all the possessions we love, who would we be in
that moment? Would we still be grateful to Allah, patient, trusting?
Hopefully it never comes tothat. But seriously, those times of
greatest sadness and joy are when our thoughts must turn to Allah, The
Eternal, The Merciful, The Wise.
Allah says, "Never will you attain the good until you spend from that
which you love. And whatever you spend – indeed, Allahis Knowing of
it." [Quran 3: 92]
Think about that. Allah is telling us to give away the things that we
love the most! SubhanAllah! Why does Allah ask this of us? Is it to
liberate us from slavery to material possessions? To f0cus our minds
on Allah and the aakhirah (hereafter)? To prevent the evil that
results from the love of money? To benefit the poor?
Yes, for all of those reasons. Excessive attachment to any
materialthing is misguidance. The love of possessions is a spiritual
trap./

Health:-/ :-> Natural wonders – Beetroots:

-
::-*The right beets for you
Members of the Chenopodiaceous family, beetroots are found along the
coasts from India to Britain. A versatile vegetable, if there ever
was one, beetroots are hailed for their richness in minerals, vitamins
and nutrients. A great source of carotenoids and lutein/zeaxanthin,
beetroots are also known as sources of dietary fibre, folic acid,
Vitamin C, iron, potassium , manganese, zinc, copper , and magnesium.
If that isn't enough, here's some more: beets are low in calories and
yet are the sweetest vegetables in themarket. So much so, they're even
occasionally used to make refined sugar.
Beetroot and its health benefits
Stronger heart: Beet fibres reduce cholesterol and triglycerides by
promoting higher levels ofHDL, which aids in fightingheart diseases.
Beetroots also contain betaine that helps reduce levels of
homocysteine, which may increase the risk of strokesand heart
diseases.
Watch Dr Devi Shetty talk about tips to prevent heart diseases.
Breathe freely: This Vitamin C-rich vegetable helps prevent symptoms of asthma.
Healthy babies: Beetroot is a great supplement during the pregnancy
period. Folic acid, the mostabundant nutrient in beetroots, is crucial
in the proper foetal development during pregnancy, and the development
of the infant's spinal column.
Prevent anaemia: Iron in the beetroot increases the production of
blood and haemoglobin levels in the body, thus preventing andcuring
severe anaemia .
Happier you: The betaine contained in the beetroot enhances the
production of the body's natural mood lifter, seratonin, andcan help
you cheer up. Really!
Stronger immune system: Beetroots pack a punch with the vitamins and
nutrients stored within. They boost the body's immune system and help
fight off infection. They also aid in stimulating the reoxygenation of
cells andthe production of new blood cells.
Beta-carotene goodness: The beta-carotene abundance in beets helps
avoid macular degeneration and prevents age-related blindness, known
as cataract.
Cure for hangover hell: The pigment that gives beetroot its rich red
colour, beta-cyanin, is an oxidant that accelerates detoxification in
the liver and converts alcohol into a substance that can be eliminated
more easily. So the next time you're readyto vow never to drink again
after a binge session, hold off till you're a beetroot down.
Word of caution
*. Though not a frequentoccurrence, beetroots may cause red colour in
urine or stool, known as beeturia.
*. Since an increased consumption of beets also means an increased
intake of fibre, it may cause bloating, gas or diarrhoea.
*. Beets can contain up to nearly 14g of sugar in one cup, so
patientswith blood sugar problems may seek medical supervision.
Quite like everything else in life, even beetroots require moderation.
Small concerns apart, you can't deny all the reasons to welcome this
lush vegetable into your kitchen. Use it for salads, soups, juices,
dips, or even in cakes! The choices are endless, and your reasons to
hold out, too few/

::-*"Know that the life of thisworld is only play and amusement, pomp
and mutual boasting among you, and rivalry in respectof wealth and
children. (It is) like a rain (Ghayth), thereof the growth is pleasing
to the tiller; afterwards it dries up and you see it turning yellow;
then it becomes straw. But in the Hereafter (there is) a severe
torment, and (there is) forgiveness from Allah and (His) pleasure. And
the life of this world is only a deceiving enjoyment." [57:20]
Allah the Exalted degrades the significance of this life and belittles
it by saying,
"that the life of this worldis only play and amusement, pomp and
mutual boasting among you, and rivalry in respectof wealth and
children."
Meaning, this is the significance of this life to its people, just as
He said inanother Ayah,
"Beautified for men is thelove of things they covet; women, children,
much of gold and silver (wealth), branded beautiful horses, cattle and
well-tilled land. This is the pleasure of the present world's life;
but Allah has the excellent return with Him." ( 3:14 )
Allah the Exalted also sets aparable for this life, declaring that its
joys are fading and its delights are perishable, saying that life is,
"Like a rain (Ghayth)," which is the rain that comes down to mankind,
after they had felt despair./

News:->What is Islam and who are Muslims?

Islam simply means to achieve peace - peace with God, peace with
oneself, and peace with the creations of God - through wholly giving
oneself God and accepting His guidance.
Islam is not a new faith. Muslims believe that it is the same truth
that God revealed through all His prophets to every people. For a
fifth of the world's population, Islam is not just a personal
religion, buta complete way of life.
Muslims come from all races, nationalities and cultures across the
globe. They have varied languages, foods, dress, and customs; even the
waythey practice Islam may differ. Yet they all consider themselves to
be Muslim.
Islam is a qualitative term -the quality of accepting God's supreme
authority above one's own. As such, being a Muslim does not mean
having to give up one's culture or traditions; rather it means
adopting the simple and logical principles of Islam to better one's
life and attain peace.
Less than 15% of Muslims live the Arab world; a fifth are found in
Sub-Saharan Africa; and the world's largest Muslim community is in
Indonesia. Substantial parts of Asia, and almost allthe Central Asian
republics, are Muslim. Significant Muslim minorities are found in
China, India, Russia, Europe, North America and South America/

Your past mistakes are not brands of shame, but teachers, stimuli to
change and do better.
You also cannot be judged by the superficial circumstances of your
life: your nationality, race, age, the language you speak, your
favorite foods or colors, your birth date, your height or weight,
whether your lips are narrow or full, whether your hair is lustrous or
thin, whether you have six-pack abs or love handles. These things do

For you pop culture fans out there, there's a scene inThe Matrix where
Neo is riding in a car, gazing out at the city, at all the places he

have these memories from my life. None of them happened. What does
that mean?" And Trinity replies, "That the matrix cannot tell you who

The Prophet 'Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus the son of Mary), peace be upon
him, has been turned into a marketing strategy. His purported birthday
has become a month of shopping insanity, presidedover by a mythical
sub-deity named Santa. People go into debt, they fight over sale
goods… no mention is made of faith.
We Muslims fall prey to thesame consumerist lifestyle. Sometimes the
holy monthof Ramadan becomes a month of shopping, sleeping and binge
eating, astaghfirullah.
Let us – Christians, Muslims,Jews and all people of God – not follow
this path. Let'shew to a way of sacrifice, zakat (purification),

be monks, but we must focus on the things that matter: faith and

Sure he did. He was a man of great wisdom, courage and natural
