SOME BEAUTIFUL SAYINGS ABOUT THIS SURAH. MUST READ
♥ Abu Hurayrah R.A. reported that Beloved Prophet SalAllahu Alyehe
Wasallam heard a man reciting Qul huwa Allaahu Ahad, and said, 'It is
his right.' They asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, what is his right?' He
said, 'Paradiseis his right.'
[Reported by Imam Ahmad,7669]
♥ Beloved Prophet SalAllahu Alyehe Wasallam said, "Whoever recites Qul
huwa Allaahu ahad ten times, Allah will build for him a house in
Paradise." [Saheeh al-Jaami' al-Sagheer; 6472]
♥ Ayesha R.A. reported thatthe Beloved Prophet SalAllahu Alyehe
Wasallam sent a man in charge of a small military campaign, and when
he recited Qur'anwhilst leading his companions in Prayer, he would
always end with Qulhuwa Allahu Ahad. When they came back, (his
companions) mentioned that to the Prophet SalAllahu Alyehe
Wasallam,who told them to ask him why he did that. So they asked him,
and he said, "Because it is a description of the Most Merciful, and I
love to recite it." The Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon
him) said: "Tell him that Allah loves him." [Reportedby al-Bukhaari,
6827]
♥ Beloved Prophet SalAllahu Alyehe Wasallam once announced to his
Companions: "Assemble in my presence, for I will recite to you
one-third of the Qur'an." When they had assembled, Beloved Prophet
SalAllahu Alyehe Wasallam came out to them and recited: "Say: He is
Allah, the One. Allah, the Self-Subsisting . He begets not, nor is He
begotten, and there is none like unto Him.(Surah Ikhlas)" Then
hereturned to his home.
The Companions began speaking to one another about it. Someone said:
"I think a revelation has just come to Him from the heavens. That is
why he went back inside." Then the Beloved Prophet SalAllahu Alyehe
Wasallam emerged from his home again and said, "I had told you that I
would recite to you a third of the Qur'an. That is indeed a third of
the Qur'an." [Sahīh Muslim; 812]
