HADEES :- ~

1) The prophet (p.b.u.h) was reported to have said," recite Salawat
upon me inabundance on the day of Jummah, since it is this daythey are
presented to me. "{Ibn Majah }
2) The prophet (p.b.u.h) said : " Whoever sends a prayer upon me,
Allah sends ten upon him. " { Muslim 1 /288 }
3) The prophet (p.b.u.h) said : " Do not take my grave as a place of
habitualceremony. Send prayers upon me, for verily your prayers reach
me whereveryou are ." {Abu Dawud 2/218 and Ahmad 2/367 }
4) The prophet (p.b.u.h) said : " The miser is one whom when I am
mentioned to him, fails to send prayers upon me. " {At-Tirmidhi 5/551
; Saheeh al-Jaami 3/25}
5) The prophet (p.b.u.h) said : " Allah has Angels who roam the earth
and convey Salam to me from my Ummah. " {Al Hakim 2/ 421 and Saheeh
an-Nasai 1/274 }
6) The prophet (p.b.u.h) said : " Whenever someonesends Salam upon me,
Allah returns my soul to me so that I may return Salam to that
person." {AbuDawud 2041 }
So make it a duty on Fridays to convey much Salawat upon prophet
Muhammad (p.b.u.h) and you will soon realize it's importance.
