Jabir reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be
upon him) said: Iblis places his throne upon water; he
then sends detachments (for creating dissension) ;
the nearer to him in tank are those who are most notorious in creating
dissension. One of them comes
and says: I did so and so. And he says: You have done nothing. Then
one amongst them comes and says: I did not spare so and so until I
sowed the seed of discord between a husband and awife. The Satan goes
near him and says: 'You have done well. A'mash
said: He then embraces him. (Muslim)
Question: Why would he tell his minions that may have caused people to
kill, steal, commit adultery, that they have done nothing (when those
things are haram) and tell the devil that caused divorce (which
is halaal) that he has done well? Because Iblees is a long term
investor. He recognizes that a killer, adulterer or thief can
repentand there goes that devil's work. But a broken home can more
easily be messy, it can lead to children who are raised by a single
parent one time, the streetsanother time, or a step parent who usually
will not hold the same authority or care like the original parent
would — with Sabiha Riaj , Abu Rashieda Ibn Zakariyya and Deen
Al-Islam
