He asked: Why is it difficult at times to become a practicing Muslim?
I said•► Islam is total SUBMISSION to Allah. However, we don'twant
this as we want to have it our way. Islam is like a frame and our life
is like a picture. The proper SUBMISSION would be to put the frame
over the picture and CUT all the edges that are out of the frame!!
People instead stretch the frame even if they have to break it so that
it would fit their life, desires and whims. This is NOT true
SUBMISSION. This is not Islam.
