Allah says in the Qudsi hadeeth:
✦•By my pride and might, I will not combine two fears and two securities on my slave at the same time. If he fears ME in this life, I’ll grant him security in the hereafter. But if he doesn’t fear ME in this life, I’ll frighten him in the hereafter.•✦
