Dua

When a pious man approached death, he shouted,
'If only it was new, if only it was far, and if only it wascomplete!'
When asked why, he responded,
'I saw a palace in Jannah in exchange for a robe I gave to the poor, and I prayed that it was new, I saw another palace in Jannah inexchange for me carrying aman to the Masjid, so I prayed it was further, then I saw another palace in Jannah in exchange for me feeding a portion of my meal to the orphan, so I prayed I gave the child a complete meal.'

The Prophet salAllahu alaihy wassalam said,
❝ If a man was to be dragged on his face from the day he was born until the day he died of old age -in order to gain/earn the pleasure of Allah, he wouldthink that was too little on the Day of Resurrection. ❞
