*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

On Monday the priests began to assemble in the great church. Many
Christian women also came with Isabella to hear the discussion. A
little later Umar Lahmi, Muaz and some other Muslim divines also
arrived and the priests were perturbed on seeing them and they began
whispered conversation among them. Just then Umar Lahmi addressed
them.
Umar Lahmi: As decided yesterday, the Divinity of Christ and Atonement
willbe discussed today. Sinceit will be difficult to deal with both
these subjects simultaneously it will be better to take them up one by
one.
Peter: Both the problems are in fact one and interconnected, so you
may take any one of them you like.
Umar Lahmi recited someverses of Surah Furqan. This changed the colour
of the face of Isabella; she was so affected that she fell down in a
swoon and her companions helped to raise her up. Peter and Michael
asked the reason of her upset but she did not reply andwarm drops of
tears began to trickle down her face. She was revivedwith great
difficulty and said on enquiry that she was having such fits for the
last month which they should not mind butcarry on the discussion. Some
of the priests suspected that she was affected by Islam , but
herassumed reply removed the suspicion and the proceedings of the
meeting were resumed. After this interval Umar Lahmi got up again and
spoke.
Umar Lahmi: Gentlemen, we have been told that the basic principles of
Christianity are Divinity of Christ and Atonement, so I want to put
just one question which will also solve the problem of the Divinity of
Christ. What was the need of the sacrifice of the "Son of God" as an
atonement ? For this purpose any pious man could have been selected
who would have given his life as atonement for all sinners. Why in
particularwas the "Son of God" crucified?
To answer this question holy Peter was again selected, but he was in
such a plight that he got up falteringly and spoke with a wavering
tongue.
Peter: For atonement the "Son of God" was necessary, for all men,
whether prophets or apostles are sinful and a sinner cannot atone for
other sinners. Since Lord Jesus Christ was the only "Son of God" and
free from sins, so he was sacrificed for the sake of all the sinners.
Umar Lahmi: Right, but just say what was crucified, whether it was
divinity or the humanity in Christ. If the divinity ofChrist was
crucified, then it means that God as one and without any partner bore
all the tortures of crucifixion and that death came on the personality
of God, that is, "God" died. But if the humanity in Christ was
crucified, then your answer loses all its force, as in that case
crucifixionof a human being and not of God could have suited, for in
both cases it was humanity in Christ that was sacrificed and not his
divinity.
Peter: Surely, Lord Jesus was perfect divinity and perfect humanity,
that both these were fully represented in him. But his humanity, like
his divinity, was free from sins and so his sacrifice was necessary.
As other human beings are all sinful, therefore, they could not suit
for atonement.
Umar Lahmi: That is, because there was no human being in the world
free from sin, "God" Himself had to come down, and His divinity was
not crucifiedbut His humanity. Suppose a person free from sins was
needed foratonement, why did not God create a sinless man to die on
the cross for atonement?
Peter: God alone knows His secrets. We cannot say why He did not do it
and came Himself to the world for the purpose. But this much we know
that God's coming to the earth for atonement indicates His great love
and affection. That is, God loved His creatures to such an extent that
He sent here His only "Son" to give his life as a recompense for
others. This purpose could never have been accomplished by sending
merely a man.
Umar Lahmi: If God had such a great love for His creatures, why did He
notsend this Son in the very beginning to be crucified? Was there no
humanity before Christ for God's concern? Why did He manifest His love
after thousands of years?
Peter: We do not know about this mystery. God's mysteries are known to God only.
Umar Lahmi: My question still stands. Reference to mystery again and
again does not serve the purpose. Now if you say it was humanity which
was crucified, then God's coming down was purposeless Some other
person could have been sacrificed.
Peter: I have given my reply. Man being sinful could not serve for
atonement. Christ's humanity served for atonement and it was an
embodiment of innocence and sinlessness.
Umar Lahmi: Since Christ's humanity was innocent and sinless, it
became necessary to put on it the burden of the sins of all humanity.
Holy priest, even you cannot understand your logic. How can I? What
harm would have been done if this "Son of God," insteadof taking on
him the burden of others' sins, had done some such good which would
have dominated the sins of all?In this case neither the burden of sins
of all should have been put on sinless Christ, nor had he been
crucified, nor even would it have given rise to the controversy of
divinity and humanity. The remedy of sin is doing good. Christ on
coming to the world should have done such a good as to atone for all
the sins, not to commit suicide for atonement.
Peter: We cannot advise God. He did as He liked. Itis your impudence
to teach God.
Umar Lahmi: You know that Christ was born fromthe womb of Virgin
Mary. Now say whether this birth related to man or God, that is,
whether it was "God" who was born, or was it man?
Peter: God is immune from birth. It was the humanity in Christ which was born.
Umar Lahmi: And who died on the cross, God or man ?
Peter: God is also immune from death. It was man who died on the cross
that is humanityin Christ.
Umar Lahmi: So the birth and death relate to Christ's humanity and
notto his divinity.
Peter: Certainly, certainly.
Umar Lahmi (holding the Bible in his hand): Just see, it is written in
the Book of Job (Ayyub) (15:14) that "he which is born of a woman" is
sinful and since the birth was not of divinity but ofhumanity,
therefore, according to the judgment of Job, even the humanity of
Christ was sinful. And see it is written in Romans 6:23 that "the
wages of sin is death," that is, death is the proof that the dead
issinful, therefore, the question comes again : why did not God
crucify some other sinful man so that His divinity was saved ?
Further, according to you, a sinner cannot atone for the sins of
others. So Christ did not serve for atonement.
Peter (perturbed and perspiring): I have also said that all these are
Divine mysteries. God didas He liked. How can you or I criticise Him?
Umar Lahmi: If your religion is based just on Divine mysteries, then
why did you call us here and thus wasted your time and ours for two
weeks?
Since Isabella was keenly interested in theological questions, she
listened toall this talk most attentively and felt in herheart that
when these priests cannot answer a question, they take the cover of
Divine mystery. Just then priest Michael rose.
Michael: Brethren, today is a confrontation between Christian religion
and Mohammedan religion. But do you know what is Mohammedan religion?
This religion allows for four marriages. It has ordered indiscriminate
killing of non-Muslims and its Apostle married eleven women and…
Umar Lahmi: If you are unable to answer my questions, say so clearly,
and then whatever criticism you have against Islam you may put forth
and I am ready to answer all. But is this your morality to call us
atyour place and then indulge in abusive talk instead of answering
ourquestions. (Pointing to Isabella Now say if this attitude of your
priests is proper.
On this Isabella at once got up and spoke in broken words.
Isabella: I have heard thistalk from beginning to end. I am sorry that
neither holy Peter nor Michael answered the questions put to them.
Umar Lahmi's demand is quite justified that eitherhis questions should
be answered or defeat admitted. But I think you will do neither. So it
is better to conclude the discussion now so that Christian religion is
not ridiculed and whatever your learning it is not exposed. It is
quite strange that…
Peter: Isabella! are you mad that you have come down to such nonsense
talk ? (Addressing the audience:) Surely this girlis possessed by the
devil and she has deviated far from Christ, and no wonder if she has
lost her senses.
Isabella : Instead of venting your anger on mypoor self you should
either answer the question of Muslims or end the discussion. I do not
want to answer here the allegations made against me, but if this is
the reward of my frankness I do not mind if you take me to be
demented.
Michael: Will you not keep quiet? Talking, talking and talking. We
have answered all questions of Muslims. If you have the courage, come
forward and answer.
A priest: It seems that thisgirl has secretly become an unbeliever.
How couldshe answer the questionsof Muslims? Her respected father
should be informed about her impudence and she should be duly
punished.
Catherine (a companion of Isabella): It is unfortunate that you have
not done justice and all of you fall upon poor Isabella. Some call her
mad, others threaten her, but no one puts his mind to the real matter.
Isabella is quite right to say that you people have not been able to
answer the questions of Umar Lahmi, but it does not mean that
Christian religion is not just. You people are worthless andare trying
to give bad name to Christianity on account of your worthlessness.
Peter : Turn out these girls from here. Who allowed these wretched
girls to interfere in our talk?
Umar Lahmi: If you allow me to speak I will explainwhat Isabella meant.
Michael: Do not interfere in our talk. It is a matter of our own.
Another priest: What if Isabella and Catherine have both become apostates!
Michael: We cannot say this just now. These girls are foolish and want
to expedite the result of thisdiscussion, although these matters take
months and even years to settle.
These were adverse comments on these poor girls and charges framed and
attributed. Seeing this tumult Umar Lahmi in his sonorous voice
recited some versus of Surah Maryam, on which the whole assembly was
struck dumb. Eminent priests closed their ears with fingers lest the
words of the Qur'an should affect their hearts. Since there was praise
of Prophet Jesus and his holy mother and the charges leveled against
them by the Jewswere refuted, Christians were favourably affectedand
Isabella's face in particular brightened. But this time she exercised
patience and firmly set. After the recitation Isabella spoke.
Isabella: Gentlemen, I call upon you to bear witnessthat I am a strict
Christianand so I do not want thatChristians should be humiliated. I
do not mean that we have no answer to their questions, only our
priests do not put their mind to them, as they think that the help of
theHoly Ghost is needed to understand the creed of Christianity.
Muslims attribute this to our weakness. I hope that after this there
will be nomisunderstanding about me. Now I request that the discussion
be resumed.
One priest: We do not at all need any talk with these "unbelievers".
Already the talk has shaken our faith. What I mean is that these
"unbelievers" should be at once turned out from the church.
Another priest: Do not talk in excitement. The matter should be
decidedafter careful consideration. I also think that the discussion
should end, as it is of no use.
Umar Lahmi: Gentlmen, you were very proud of the teaching of your
Master that if anyone slaps you on one cheek you should present to him
the other cheek also. But what is this that we see here? Have we
entered here by force? Did you not call us here? Even now if you
frankly say that you do not want to talk we will immediately leave.
But I may tell you that we have delivered our message and Allah will
not let our efforts go waste. Now, tell me if we should go or you want
totalk.
Peter: Respected monitor, the thing is thatyou cannot understand the
realities of Christian faith, nor have you come here for this purpose.
Butif you want to continue the talk you shall have to answer my
questions.
Umar Lahmi; Very well. I give you full freedom to put any question and
we shall calmly answer.
Peter: Has the Qur'an praised the Bible? Do youbelieve in the Bible?
Umar Lahmi; Certainly theQur'an has praised the Bible and we, all
Muslims believe in the Bible, Taurat (the Psalms) and all the books
revealed to Prophets.
Peter: Then why do you not believe in our Bible ?
Umar Lahmi: Because it isnot the Bible. If anyone composes a fiction
and names it Bible we are notbound to believe in it. You may put
before us the Bible which the Qur'an has praised.
Peter: Is the Bible of the Qur'an different from ourBible? Its proof?
Umar Lahmi: Because the Qur'an, while praising the original Bible, has
falsified this Bible and pointed out its wrong statements.
Peter: What are the wrong statements of our Bible?
Umar Lahmi: For instance, the Gospel of St. Matthewin 12 : 46-50 has
called Mary an unbeliever, while the Qur'an has called her Siddiqah
(the truthful), which means that she was not an unbeliever but a
believerand pious. Similarly, in the Bible (Matthew, 12:46-50 it is
said about Prophet Jesus that he was very arrogant and used to be
disrespectful to his mother, although the Taurat strictly
enjoinsrespect and veneration to mothers. But the Qur'an refutes it
and saysthat Jesus had said that he was obedient to his mother and has
been enjoined to do good to her. Or just as the Bible says that Jesus
was accursed and because of his being accursed he was crucified [*On
Christ being accursed, see Galatians, 3 : 13. t iii, 45.].But the
Qur'an calls him the "Spirit of God" and the "Word of God" and that he
was venerable both in this world and the next (wajihan fid-dunya
wal-akhirah).
A voice: You are wrong. In the Bible he is said to be God.
Umar Lahmi: Yes, it is more surprising that according to you God
canalso be accursed. That you have cursed Christ while acknowledging
him as God and do not mind at all how God Whois the Fountainhead of
allgood and perfections candeserve curse. It is the devil who deserves
curse and not God. Islam does not deify Christ but calls him human and
at the same time makes him innocent and free from sins. Now, you can
judge whether an accursed "God" is better or a pure and sinless man.
Peter: The point is why you do not believe in the Bible. You have
thrown into it the question of curse. If you have any original Bible
which the Qur'an has confirmed, then bring that to us.
Umar Lahmi: You have noright to demand this from us. If you first
agreethat your Bible is made up and forged, then you can call for the
real Bible.I have proved that the Qur'an does not affirm the validity
of the currentBible but proves it false and has openly recounted its
mistakes. Just fancy, can this Bible in which Christ has been deified
and then killed on the cross be the Bible of the Qur'an which says
that Christ says : "Inni 'Abd Allah" [I am a servant of God) and
that"Ma qataluhu wa ma salabuho" [he was neither killed nor
crucified].* Has the Qur'an affirmed your Bible or proved it false?
Peter: Has not the Qur'an called Jesus the "Spirit of God" and the
"Word of God" ? Is it not a proof that he was above humanity.
Umar Lahmi: Surely the Qur'an has called Christ "the Word of God," but
the Qur'an also says that words of God are innumerable and that if all
oceans become ink and all trees pens they will not be able to recount
all words of God as they are beyond count. So Christ also is one of
these words of God. As to Christ being "the spirit of God," this also
does not make him above humanity for the same word is used for Adam in
the Qur'an which says: "fa iza sav-vaituhu wa nafakhfu fihi min ruhi"
[when I completed the form of Adam I breathed My Spirit into him]* so
in that respect Christ is also like Adam. If Christ is "God," then
Adam and all his progeny are "God".
Peter: If the Qur'an has called Adam the "spirit ofGod," it is a
mistake as there is no other "spirit of God" except Christ.
Umar Lahmi: You think the entire Qur'an is wrong, but it was you who
wanted that the divinity of Christ be proved from the Qur'an and so I
proved from the Qur'an that he was not divine. If he can be "God"just
by being the "spirit of God," then Adam was also "God". If you think
the Qur'an is wrong in this respect, then why did you bring in the
Qur'an?
Isabella; But you believe in the divinity of Prophet Muhammad ,
although heinitiated bloodshed in the world and ordered killing of
non-believers.
Umar Lahmi: Allah forbid! I seek protection of Allah from this
perverse belief! We regard our Holy Prophet just a man, only Chief of
all Apostles and Crown of all Goodness. The essence ofour belief is
"La ilaha ill Allah Muhammad Rasul Allah" [There is no one worthy of
worship except Allah and Muhammad is His apostle]. Anyone who regards
the Holy Prophet as a God is a non-believerand against Islam. As to
the Prophet's initiating bloodshed in the world, this is utterly
wrong. He surely waged war against non-believers as they wanted to
annihilate the Prophet and the religion which he brought, but he did
not touch those who were not so. The Qur'an enjoins fighting against
those who fight with you.
Christian priests have since long spread calumnies against Islam and
attributed various ills to it. It is these priests who used to defame
Islam by alleging that Muslims regarded the Prophet as God. The
question of Isabella is theresult of this propaganda.
Michael: You say it again and again that our Bible is not real,
although it has been compiled by Disciples with the aid of the Holy
Ghost, whom even the Qur'an praises and regards them as believers.
Further, the Christians of the world have affirmed them.
Umar Lahmi: This is just the question, whether this Bible has actually
been compiled by the Disciples to whom it is attributed or some
non-believers wrote their books giving Disciples' names as authors.
Even Christians do not agree that the Disciples have composed them.
The Qur'an does not believe in the compiled Bible. It praises only
that Bible which was revealed to Christ direct from Allah, as the
Qur'an says : " Wa atainanal, Injila" [We gave the Book to Christ] and
Christ himself says : "Atain al-Kitaba" [God has given me the Book],
On the other hand, you yourself admit that the books of the Bible were
compiled by the Disciples when the Qur'an affirms revelation of the
Bible to Christ.
Just then Isabella's father(the head priest) came and took the priests to task.
Head Priest: What is this wrestling ground you have put up here? You
are talking to "unbelievers" in the holy church and disrupting the
faith of Christians. Christians come to me daily and complain of your
inability. Many Christians have wavered in their faith and say
thateven my daughter Isabella has become unrestrained. (To Isabella
You girl, who asked you to come here and what have you got to do with
these discussions? You study the Quran secretly. I know all that you
are doing. (Turning to the priests:) Yet she is a foolish girl, but
what has happened to all of you that you are bandying words with these
unbelievers and displeasing Lord Jesus. If you do any such thing in
future I will dismiss all of you.
With this snub of the head priest all the priestswere perturbed and
Isabella's face turned pale. No one could venture to give an
explanation to the head priest. But one of the priests took courage
and addressed the head priest.
The priest: Our holy father, what you say is quite true. Surely there
isnothing but loss in talking with these "unbelievers". But, O
holyfather! do you want us tobe humiliated throughout Spain? Do you
want Christianity to die out in Spain? By our Lord Jesus, if we do not
suppress them we will not be able to show face in this country. I may
alsomention that none of us could answer the objections of Muslims. If
you are kind enough to attend to our humble request I will say that
thequestions put forth by Muslims cannot be solvedwithout your
honour's help. In the whole of Spain there is no better savant of
Christianity than your honour, who can discharge this duty, and
silence the "unbelievers" by terse answers. If your honour does not
come forward to save Christianity at thistime, then, our revered
father, the consequences for us and for Christianitywill be most
serious and our preachers will be humiliated and defamed.May I hope
that your honour will be ready to solve the problems raisedby Muslims?
Head Priest: You have yourself given importance to this matterby
calling over Muslims here. It is unfortunate that you have not been
able to answer foolish questions of Muslims, even after studying the
problems of theology. Will these Muslims be rightly guided on gettinga
satisfactory answer?
Michael: Yes, it is their promise that on being satisfied they will
give upIslam and embrace Christianity. They have also given to us a
writtenundertaking to this effect.
Head Priest (to Umar Lahmi): Say, what are your questions?
Umar Lahmi: It is only if you listen calmly to what I say that I will
put my questions. The way you have treated us and demonstrated the
Christian ethics demand that I should refuse to talk to you. But since
I ama seeker of truth, I want to seek the light of guidance through
you.
Head Priest: Gentleman, you should not take offence at my harsh words
and if our talk has injured your feelings I seek your pardon on behalf
of all. Surely you seem to be a lover of truth and surely our Lord
Christ will help and guideyou. So you may come to my house sometime
tomorrow when your doubts and misunderstandings will be
dispassionately set at naught. (To priests:) You, gentlemen, may also
come so that you may know answers to the questions of Muslims and in
future you may yourselves deal with them.

to drinkwhin You are the Lord of the worlds? He will say: My servant
So-and-so asked you to give him to drink and you gave him not to
drink. Had you given him to drink you would have surely found that
with Me.

Ever wonder why a Muslim is allowed
by Allah, subhana watallah, to get sick?
Hadith - Bukhari 7:564
I visited Allah's Apostle while he was suffering from a high fever. I
touched him withmy hand and said, "O Allah's Apostle! You have a high
fever." Allah's Apostle said, " Yes, I have as much fever as two men
of you have. " I said, "Is it because youwill get a double reward?"
Allah's Apostle said, " Yes, noMuslim is afflicted with harm because
of sicknessor some other inconvenience, but that Allah will remove his
sins for him as a tree sheds itsleaves. "
Hadith - Muslim & Bukhari
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri r.a. reported that the Prophet said: Whenever a
Muslim is afflicted with a hardship, sickness, sadness, worry, harm, or
depression --even a thorn's prick, Allah expiates his sins because of
it.
Recorded by Bukhari in al-Adab ul-Mufrad (no. 493), verified authentic
by al-Albani
"Expect good, because Allah (s.w.t.) makes a believer's sickness an
expiation (for his sins) and a period of repose. As for a disbeliever
falling sick, he is like a camel whose owner ties it and then lets it
loose --it does not understand why it was tied, nor why it was freed."
The cure...
Hadith - Sahih Bukhari, Book 25, Number 5466, Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah
Allah's Messenger said: There is a remedy for every malady, and when
the remedy is applied to the disease it is cured with the permission
of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious.
Hadith - Muwatta 50:12
Yahya related to me fromMalik from Zayd ibn Aslam that a man received
a wound in the time of the Messenger of Allah . The blood clotted in
the wound and the man called two men from the Banu Ammar tribe. They
looked at it and claimed that the Messenger of Allah said to them, "
Which of you is the better doctor? " They said, "Is there any good in
medicine, Messenger of Allah?" Zayd claimed that the Messenger of
Allah said, " The one who sent down the disease sent down the remedy.
"
Narration - Ahmad
"Worshippers of Allah, use medical treatments."
Hadith - Al-Tirmidhi#2170, Narrated AbdulMalik ibn Umayr
Allah's Messenger said, " Fatihatal-Kitab contains healing for every disease. "
[Darimi and Bayhaqi, in Shu'ab al-Iman, transmitted it.]
Severe Trials for those Firm in their Religion
Hadith - Al-Tirmidhi 1562,Narrated Sa'd
When the Prophet was asked which people suffered the greatest
affliction, hereplied, " The prophets, then those who come next to
them, then those who come next to them. A man is afflicted in keeping
his religion. If he is firm in his religion his trial is severe, but
if there is weakness in his religion it is made light for him, and it
continues like that till he walks on the earth having no sin. "
[Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it, and Tirmidhi said this
is ahasan sahih tradition.]
Rewards for those Afflicted
Hadith - Al-Tirmidhi#1570, Narrated Jabir ibnAbdullah
Allah's Messenger said, " On the Day of Resurrection, when people who
have suffered affliction are given their reward, thosewho are healthy
will wish their skins had beencut to pieces with scissorswhen they
were in the world. "
[Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying that this is a gharib tradition.]
Recorded by Ahmad , verified authentic by al-Hakim, ath-Thahabi, and al-Albani
The ailment is intensifiedfor the righteous. Whenever a believer is
afflicted with a hardship,be it a thorn or more, a sin is taken off
him because of it, and he is elevated on level (in Jannah [Paradise]).
Hadith - Al-Bukhari
A traveller's or sick person's deeds are recorded in accordance with
what he used to do when he was resident or well.

Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 4:468, Narrated Abu Huraira
Allah's Apostle said, " The first group (of people) who will enter
Paradise will be (glittering) like the moon when it is full. They will
not spit or blowtheir noses or relieve nature. Their utensils willbe
of gold and their combs of gold and silver; in their centers the aloe
wood will be used, and their sweat will smell likemusk. Everyone of
them will have two wives; the marrow of the bones of the wives' legs
will be seen through the flesh out of excessive beauty. They (i.e. the
people of Paradise) will neither have differences nor hatred amongst
themselves; their hearts will be as if one heart and they will be
glorifying Allah in the morning and in the evening. "
Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 4:464, Narrated 'Imran bin Husain
The Prophet said, " Verily! 70,000 or 700,000 of my followers will
enter Paradise altogether; so that the first and the last amongstthem
will enter at the same time, and their faces will be glittering like
the bright full moon. "
Many Paradises
Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 5:318, Narrated Anas
Haritha was martyred on the day (of the battle) of Badr, and he was a
young boy then. His mother came to the Prophet and said, "O Allah's
Apostle! You know how dear Haritha is to me. If he is in Paradise, I
shall remainpatient, and hope for reward from Allah, but if it is not
so, then you shallsee what I do?" He said, " May Allah be merciful to
you! Have you lost your senses? Do you think there is only one
Paradise? There are many Paradises and your son is in the (most
superior) Paradise of Al-Firdaus. "
A Ticket to Paradise
Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 2:463, Narrated Anas bin Malik , see also Bukhari 2:340
Allah's apostle said, " Any Muslim in whose three children died before
the age of puberty will be granted Paradise by Allahbecause of His
mercy to them."
Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 1:35, Narrated Abu Huraira
The Prophet said, " The person who participates in (Holy battles) in
Allah's cause and nothing compels himto do so except belief in Allah
and His Apostles , will be recompensed by Allah either with a reward,
or booty (if he survives) or will be admitted to Paradise (if he is
killed in the battle as a martyr). Had I not found it difficult for my
followers, then I would not remain behind any sariya going for Jihad
and I would have loved to be martyred in Allah's cause and then made
alive, and then martyred and then made alive, andthen again martyred
in His cause. "
Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 3:894, Narrated Abu Huraira
Allah's Apostle said, " Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e. one-hundred
minus one, and whoever knowsthem will go to Paradise. " (Please see
Hadith No. 419 Vol. 8)
Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 8:419, Narrated Abu Huraira
Allah has ninety-nine Names, i.e., one hundred minus one, and whoever
believes in their meanings and acts accordingly, will enter Paradise;
and Allah is Witr (one) and loves 'the Witr' (i.e., odd numbers).
Hadith - Transmitted by Tirmidhi, Narrated Umm Salamah
The Prophet said: If a woman dies while her husband was pleased with
her, she willenter Paradise.
Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 8.481, Narrated Sahl bin Sad
Allah's Apostle said, " Whoever can guarantee (the chastity of) what
is between his two jaw-bones and what is between his two legs (i.e.his
tongue and his private parts), I guarantee Paradise for him. "

it will not be filled till Allah putsHis Foot over it whereupon it

different parts will come closer to each other; and Allah will not
wrong any of His created beings. As regards Paradise, Allah will
create a new creation to fill it with. "

Etiquette of Eid

What are the Sunnahs and etiquettes that we should act in
accordancewith on the day of Eid?.
Praise be to Allaah.
The Sunnahs that the Muslim should observe on the day of Eid are as follows:
1 – Doing ghusl before going out to the prayer.
It was narrated in a saheeh hadeeth in al-Muwatta' and elsewhere that
'Abd-Allaah ibn 'Umar used to do ghusl on the day of al-Fitr before
going out to the prayer-place in the morning. Al-Muwatta' 428.
Al- Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said that the Muslims were
unanimously agreed that it is mustahabb to do ghusl for Eid prayer.
The reason why it is mustahabb is the same reason as that for doing
ghusl before Jumu'ah and other public gatherings. Rather on Eid the
reason is even stronger.
2 – Eating before going out to pray on Eid al-Fitr and after the
prayer on Eid al-Adha:
Part of the etiquette is not to go out to pray on Eid al-Fitr until
one has eaten some dates, because of the hadeeth narrated by
al-Bukhaari from Anas ibn Maalik, who said that the Messenger of
Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used not to go out
on the morning of Eid al-Fitruntil he had eaten some dates… of which
he would eat an odd number. Al-Bukhaari, 953.
It is mustahabb to eat before going out to emphasize the fact that it
is forbidden to fast on that day and to demonstrate that the fast has
ended.
Ibn Hajar (may Allaah have mercy on him) suggested that the reason for
that was so asto ward off the possibility of adding to the fast, and
to hasten toobey the command of Allaah. Al-Fath, 2/446
Whoever does not have any dates may break his fast with anything that
ispermissible.
But on Eid al-Adha it is mustahabb not to eat anything until one comes
back from the prayer, so he should eat from the udhiyah if he has
offered a sacrifice. If he is not going to offer asacrifice there is
nothingwrong with eating before the prayer.
3 – Takbeer on the day of Eid
This is one of the greatest Sunnahs on the day of Eid because
Allaahsays (interpretation of the meaning):
"(He wants that you) must complete the same number (of days), and that
you must magnify Allaah [i.e. to say Takbeer (Allaahu Akbar: Allaah is
the Most Great)]for having guided you so that you may be grateful to
Him"
[al-Baqarah 2:185]
It was narrated that al-Waleed ibn Muslim said: I asked al-Awzaa'i and
Maalik ibn Anas about saying Takbeer out loud on the two Eids. They
said, Yes, 'Abd-Allaah ibn 'Umar used to say it out loud on the day of
al-Fitr untilthe imam came out (to lead the prayers).
It was narrated in a saheeh report that 'Abd al-Rahmaan al-Sulami
said, "They emphasized it more on the day of al-Fitr than the day of
al-Adha.". Wakee' said, this refers to the takbeer. See Irwa'
al-Ghaleel, 3/122/
Al-Daaraqutni and othersnarrated that on the morning of Eid al-Fitr
and Eid al-Adha, Ibn 'Umar would strive hard in reciting takbeer until
he came to the prayer place, then he would recite takbeer until the
imam came out.
Ibn Abi Shaybah narrated with a saheeh isnaad that al-Zuhri said:The
people used to recite Takbeer on Eid when they came out of their
houses until they came to the prayer place, and until the imam came
out. When the imam came out they fell silent, and when he said takbeer
they said takbeer. See Irwa' al-Ghaleel, 1/121
Saying takbeer when coming out of one's house to the prayer place and
until the imamcame out was somethingthat was well known among the
salaf (early generations). This has been narrated by a number of
scholars such as Ibn Abi Shaybah, 'Abd a l-Razzaaq and al-Firyaabi in
Ahkaam al-Eidayn from a group of the salaf. For example,Naafi' ibn
Jubayr used torecite takbeer and was astonished that the people did
not do so, and he said, "Why do you not recite takbeer?"
Ibn Shihaab al-Zuhri (may Allaah have mercy on him) used to say, "The
people used to recite takbeer from the time they came out of their
houses until the imam came in."
The time for takbeer on Eid al-Fitr starts from the night before Eid
until the imam enters to lead the Eid prayer.
In the case of Eid al-Adha, the takbeer begins on the first day
ofDhu'l-Hijjah and lasts until sunset on the last of the days of
tashreeq.
Description of the takbeer:
It was narrated in the Musannaf of Ibn Abi Shaybah with a saheeh
isnaad from Ibn Mas'ood(may Allaah be pleased with him) that he used
to recite takbeer during the days of tashreeq:
Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, laa ilaaha ill-Allaah, wa Allaahu akbar,
Allaah akbar, wa Lillaah il-hamd (Allaah is Most Great, Allaah is most
Great, there is no god but Allaah, Allaah is Most great, Allaah is
most great, and to Allaahbe praise).
It was also narrated elsewhere by Ibn Abi Shaybah with the same
isnaad, but with the phrase "Allaahu akbar" repeated three times.
Al-Mahaamili narrated with a saheeh isnaad also from Ibn Mas'ood:
"Allaahu akbaru kabeera, Allaahu akbaru kabeera, Allaahu akbar wa
ajallu, Allaahu akbar wa Lillaah il-hamd (Allaah is Most Great indeed,
Allaah is Most Great indeed, Allaah is most Great and Glorified,Allaah
is Most Great and to Allaah be praise)." Seeal-Irwa', 3/126.
4 – Offering congratulations
The etiquette of Eid also includes the congratulations and good wishes
exchanged by people, no matter what the wording, such as saying to one
anotherTaqabbala Allaah minna wa minkum (May Allaah accept (good
deeds) from us and from you" or "Eid mubaarak" and other permissible
expressions of congratulations.
It was narrated that Jubayr ibn Nufayr said: When the companions ofthe
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) met one another on
the day of Eid, they would say to one another, "May Allaahaccept (good
deeds) from us and from you." Ibn Hajar said, its isnaad is hasan.
Al-Fath, 2/446.
Offering congratulationswas something that was well known among the
Sahaabah, and scholars such as Imam Ahmad and others allowed it. There
is evidence which suggests that it is prescribed to offer
congratulations and good wishes on special occasions, and that the
Sahaabah congratulatedone another when good things happened, such as
when Allaah accepted the repentance of a man, they went and
congratulated him for that, and so on.
Undoubtedly these congratulations are among the noble characteristics
among the Muslims.
The least that may be said concerning the subject of congratulations
is that you should return the greetings of those who congratulate you
on Eid, and keep quiet if others keep quiet, as Imam Ahmad (may Allaah
have mercy on him) said: If anyone congratulates you, then respond,
otherwise do not initiateit.
5 – Adorning oneself on the occasion of Eid.
It was narrated that 'Abd-Allaah ibn 'Umar (may Allaah be pleased with
him) said that 'Umar took a brocade cloak that was for sale inthe
market and brought it to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings
of Allaah be upon him), and said, "O Messenger of Allaah, buythis and
adorn yourself with it for Eid and for receiving the delegations." The
Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saidto
him, "Rather this is the dress of one who hasno share (of piety or of
reward in the Hereafter)…" Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 948.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) agreed with
'Umar on the idea of adorning oneself for Eid,but he denounced him for
choosing this cloak because it was made of silk.
It was narrated that Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had a cloak which
he would wear onthe two Eids and on Fridays. Saheeh Ibn Khuzaymah,
1756,
Al-Bayhaqi narrated with a saheeh isnaad that Ibn 'Umar used to wear
his best clothes on Eid.
So a man should wear the best clothes that he has when going out for Eid.
With regard to women, they should avoid adorning themselves when they
go out for Eid, because they are forbidden to show off their
adornments to non-mahram men. It is also haraam for a woman who wants
to goout to put on perfume orto expose men to temptation, because they
are only going out for the purpose of worship.
6 – Going to the prayer by one route and returning by another.
It was narrated that Jaabir ibn 'Abd-Allaah (may Allaah be pleased
with him) said: On the day of Eid, the Prophet (peace and blessings of
Allaah be upon him) used to vary his route. Narrated by
al-Bukhaari,986.
It was said that the reason for that was so that the two routes would
testify for him on the Day of Resurrection, for the earth will speak
on the Day of Resurrection and say what was done on it, both good and
bad.
And it was said that it was in order to manifest the symbols of Islam
on both routes, or to manifest the remembrance of Allaah (dhikr), or
to annoy the hypocrites and Jews, andto scare them with the large
number of people who were with him. Andit was said that it was in
order to attend to the people's needs, to answer their questions,
teach them, set an example and give charity to the needy, or to visit
his relatives and uphold the ties of kinship.
And Allaah knows best.

Ruling on Eid and the Sunnahs of Eid

I would like to know some of the Sunnahs of Eid and the rulings thereon.
Praise be to Allaah.
Allaah has set out severalrulings concerning Eid, including the following:
1 – It is mustahabb to recite takbeer during the night of Eid from
sunset on the last day of Ramadaan until the imam comes to lead the
prayer. The format of the takbeer is as follows:
Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, laa ilaaha ill-Allaah, Allaahu akbar,
Allaahu akbar, wa Lillaahi'l-hamd (Allaah is Most Great, Allaah is
MostGreat, there is no god except Allaah, Allaah is Most Great, Allaah
is MostGreat, and all praise be to Allaah).
Or you can say Allaahu akbar three times, so you say:
Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, laailaaha ill-Allaah,
Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, wa Lillaahi'l-hamd
(Allaah is Most Great, Allaah is MostGreat, Allaah is Most Great,
there is no god except Allaah, Allaah is Most Great, Allaah is
MostGreat , Allaah is Most Great, and all praise be to Allaah).
Both are permissible.
Men should raise their voices reciting this dhikrin the marketplaces,
mosques and homes, butwomen should not raise their voices.
2 – You should eat an odd number of dates before leaving for the Eid
prayer, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon
him) did not set out on the day of Eid until he had eaten an odd
number of dates. Heshould stick to an odd number as the Prophet (peace
and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did.
3 – You should wear your best clothes – this isfor men. With regard to
women, they should not wear beautiful clothes when they go out to the
Eid prayer-place, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah
be upon him) said: "Let them go out looking decent" i.e., in regular
clothes that are not fancy. It is haraam for them to go out wearing
perfume and makeup.
4 – Some of the scholars regarded it as mustahabb to do ghusl for the
Eid prayer, because it is narrated that some of the salaf did this.
Doing ghusl for Eid prayer is mustahabb, just as it is prescribed
forJumu'ah because one is going to meet people. So if one does ghusl,
that is good.
5 – The Eid prayer. The Muslims are unanimouslyagreed that the Eid
prayer is prescribed in Islam. Some of them say that it is Sunnah,
some say that it is fard kafaayah (a communal obligation) and some say
that it is fard 'ayn (an individual obligation), and that notdoing it
is a sin. They quoted as evidence the fact that the Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him) commanded even the virgins and women
in seclusion, i.e., those whodid not ordinarily come out, to attend
the Eid prayer place, except thatthose who were menstruating should
keep away from the prayer-place itself, because it is not permissible
for a menstruating woman to stay in the mosque; it is permissible for
her to pass through but not to stay there.
It seems to me, based on the evidence, that it is fard 'ayn (an
individual obligation) and that every male is obliged to attend the
Eid prayer except for those who have an excuse. This wasthe view
favoured by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on
him).
In the first rak'ah the imam should recite Sabbih isma rabbika
al-A'ala (Soorat al-A'la 87) and in the second rak'ah he should recite
Hal ataaka hadeeth ul-ghaashiyah (al-Ghaashiyah 88). Or hemay recite
Soorat Qaaf (50) in the first and Soorat al-Qamar (54) in the second.
Both optionsare narrated in saheeh reports from the Messenger of
Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
6 – If Jumu'ah and Eid fall on the same day, the Eid prayer should be
held, as should Jumu'ah prayer, as is indicated bythe apparent meaning
of the hadeeth of al-Nu'maan ibn Basheer which was narrated by Muslim
in his Saheeh. But those who attend the Eid prayer with the imam may
attend Jumu'ah if they wish, or they may pray Zuhr.
7 – One of the rulings on Eid prayer is that according to many
scholars, if a person comes to the Eid prayer-place before the imam
comes, he should sit down and not pray two rak'ahs, because the
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) prayed Eid with
two rak'ahs, and hedid not offer any prayer before or after it.
Some of the scholars are of the view that when a person comes he
should not sit down until he hasprayed two rak'ahs, because the Eid
prayer-place is a mosque, basedon the fact that menstruating women are
not allowed there, soit comes under the same rulings as a mosque,
which indicates that it is a mosque. Based on this,it comes under the
general meaning of the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of
Allaah be upon him): "When any one of you enters the mosque, let him
not sit down until he has prayed two rak'ahs." With regard to the fact
that the Prophet(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not
offer any prayer before or after the Eid prayer, that is because when
he arrived the prayer started.
Thus it is proven that weshould pray Tahiyyat al-Masjid (two rak'ahs
to"greet the mosque") when arriving at the Eid prayer-place, as in the
case of all mosques, because if we assume from the hadeeth that there
is no Tahiyyat al-Masjid for the Eid mosque, then we should say that
there is no Tahiyyat al-Masjid for the Jumu'ah mosque either, because
when the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon
him) arrived at the Jumu'ah mosque he would deliver the khutbah, then
pray two rak'ahs then leave and pray the regular Sunnahs of Jumu'ah in
his house, so he did not offer any prayer before it or after it (in
the mosque).
What seems more likely to be correct in my view is that we should pray
two rak'ahs in the Eid prayer-place to greet themosque, but we should
not denounce one another with regard to this issue, because it is a
matter concerning which the scholars differ. We should not denounce
others with regard to matters wherethe scholars differ, unless there
is a clear text. So we should not denounce the one who prays (Tahiyyat
al-Masjid) or the one who sits down without praying.
8 – One of the rulings on the day of Eid – Eid al-Fitr – is that
Zakaat al-Fitr is due on this day. The Prophet (peace and blessings of
Allaah be upon him) enjoined thatit should be paid before the Eid
prayer. It is permissible to pay it oneor two days before that,
because of the hadeeth of Ibn 'Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him)
which was narrated by al-Bukhaari: "They used to give it one or two
days before (Eid) al-Fitr."If it is paid after the Eid prayer, it does
not countas Sadaqat al-Fitr, because of the hadeeth of Ibn 'Abbaas:
"Whoever pays it before the prayer, it is Zakaat al-Fitr, and whoever
pays it after the prayer, it is ordinary charity." It is haraam to
delay Zakaat al-Fitr until after the Eid prayer. If one delays it with
no excuse then it is not acceptable zakaah, but if there is anexcuse –
such as if a person is traveling and does not have anything to give or
anyone to give it to, or he is expecting his family to pay it and they
are expecting him to pay it, then in this case he should pay it when
it is easy for him to do so, even if that is after the prayer, and
there is no sin on him because he has an excuse.
9 – People should greet one another, but that results in haraam
actionson the part of many people, such as men entering houses and
shaking hands with unveiled women without any mahram being present.
Some of these evils are worse than others.
We see some people denouncing those who refuse to shake hands with
those who are not their mahrams, but it is they who are the
wrongdoers, not he. But he should explain to them and tell them to ask
trustworthy scholars to verify his actions and he should tell them not
to get angry and insist on following the customs of his forefathers,
because they do not make a permissible thing forbidden or a forbidden
thing permissible. He should explain to them that if they do that,
they will belike those of whom Allaah says (interpretation of the
meaning):
"And similarly, We sent not a warner before you(O Muhammad) to any
town (people) but the luxurious ones among them said: "We found our
fathers following a certain way and religion, and we will indeed
follow their footsteps"
[al-Zukhruf 43:23]
Some people have the custom of going out to the graveyard on the day
of Eid to greet the occupants of the graves, but the occupants of the
graves have no need of any greeting or congratulations, becausethey do
not fast or pray qiyaam.
Visiting the graves is not something to be done especially on the day
of Eid or Friday or any particular day. It was proven that the Prophet
(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) visited the graves at
night, as mentioned in the hadeeth of 'Aa'ishah narrated by Muslim.
And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
"Visit the graves for they will remind you of the Hereafter."
Visiting graves is an act of worship, and acts of worship are not
acceptable unless they are in accordance with sharee'ah. The Prophet
(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not single out the day
of Eid for visiting the graves, so we should notdo so either.
10 – There is nothing wrong with what men do on the day of Eid of
embracing one another.
11 – It is prescribed for the one who goes out tothe Eid prayer to go
by one route and return by another, following the example of the
Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). This
Sunnah does not apply to other prayers, Jumu'ah or anything else, it
only applies to Eid.

Is it permissible for a man to put a house in his ex-wife’s name?

My father divorced my mother irrevocably, and they cannot get back
together. He subjected my mother to all kinds ofinjustice,
humiliation, bad treatment and stinginess. He even betrayed her
physically with more than one woman.
The point is that all of this mistreatment made my mother mentally ill
and she could no longer bear to live with that. Now he has two houses,
one in which my mother and her children live andthe other in which he
lives. The two houses arebuilt of bricks and concrete without
reinforcement, and the roofs are made of wood. The house in which we
live with our mother was not built for us by him; rather it was built
for us by some well-wishers five years after he left us and ran away,
but he is threatening to sell it. Is itpermissible for us, in order to
protect our rights and our mother's rights, to ask him to register
this house in which we live, in return for our mother giving upto him
things that she is entitled to, namely her mahr and the delayed
portion of it, and the maintenance he is obliged to give her for the
rest of her life, giving up all of that in return for him registering
this house in which we live in our name?.
Praise be to Allaah.
It is permissible for your father to put the house asked about in your
mother's name and to make that a pure gift or to do it in return for
what she has of the mahr and the delayed portion, if applicable.
However some things must be borne in mind:
-1-
That your mother is no longer regarded as his wife, so if your father
has another wife, he is not obliged to treat them equally, because she
is no longer his wife.If he does not have another wife, then thereis
nothing to prevent him from giving a house or anything else to his
ex-wife.
-2-
If he wants to put the house in your name, thatis in the name of his
children, if he does not have any children from another wife, then
thereis nothing wrong with him putting it in your name, because a man
may give his children whatever he wants. If hedoes have other
children, then he has to treat them fairly in termsof giving, so if he
gives something to one of them, he has to give the others something
similar. See the answer to questions no. 22169 and 89720
-3-
If your father does not own any part of the house, either the land
orthe structure, and it was built for you by well-wishers, then it is
your property and your father has nothing to do with it.
If the land belonged to your father, then the same applies as stated
above: it is permissible for him to register it in his ex-wife's name
or in his children's names, if he does not have other children, or if
he has other children and he treats all the children fairly in terms
of giving.
We should point out thatit is not permissible to accuse your father of
zina and that this is regarded as slander, so long as you have not
produced four witnessesto that, because Allah, may He be exalted, says
(interpretation of the meaning):
"And those who accuse chaste women, and produce not four witnesses,
flog them with eighty stripes, and reject their testimony forever,
they indeed are the Fasiqoon (liars, rebellious, disobedient to
Allah).
Except those who repentthereafter and do righteous deeds, (for such)
verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
[an-Noor 24:4-5].
Moreover, the father hasthe right to be treated with kindness and
respect, and to have ties upheld with him, even if he is an evildoer
or wrongdoer.
We ask Allah to set straight the affairs of all the Muslims.
And Allah knows best.

"O son of the Messenger of Allah, I suffer constantly from a complaint
in my head, and sometimes it keeps me awake at nights and distracts me
from performing the night prayer." He replied: "O Dawud, when you
experience any of that [pain], pass your hand over it and say: 'I take
refuge in Allah, and seek protection for myself from all that afflicts
me, in the Name of Allah, the Mighty, and His Perfect Words, which
neither therighteous nor the ungodly can disregard, I seek protection
for myself with Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, and with the Messenger

Tamana, O Tannat". They are Sublime Names and have an authority given
by Allah, the Exalted and Sublime. Allah will turn that [pain] away
from them.'
'Abd Allah b.Bistam narrated from Ishaq b.Ibrahim from Abu al-Hasan
al-Askari, peace be upon him, that he [Ishaq] said: 'I was with him
[al-Askari] one day when one of our brothers complained to him,
saying: "O son of theMessenger of Allah, my family suffers much from
this accursed pain." He asked: "And what is it?" The man replied:
"Pains in the head." He said: "Take a cup of water and recite over
it: Have not the unbelievers then beheld that the heavens and the
earth were a mass all sewn up, and then We unstitched them and of
water fashioned every living thing? Will they not believe? (21:30).
Then drink it and pain will not afflict them, Allah, the Exalted,
willing."
Tamim b.Ahmad al-Sayraff narrated from Muhammad b.Khalid al-Barqi from
'Ali b.al-Numan from Dawud b.Farqad and Mualla b.Khunays, who both
said: 'Abu Abd Allah, peace be upon him, said: "Combing the hair on
thecheeks strengthens the teeth (al-adras); combingthe beard dispels
infectious diseases (al-waba); combing looselocks of hair dispels

Remember

O' you who love to party and rave
Remember one day you will go to the grave
Friends and guys wanna be in your 'crew'
Remember the darkness and loneliness of the grave awaits you
Fashion and clothes you love to adorn
Remember the day will come to sound the horn
Raised up will be the whole of mankind
Our deeds presented from ahead or behind
If from in front – to Jannah you are shown
From behind – into Hellfire you will be thrown
Trust me, now is the time to toil and sweat
Before in the hereafter you remorse and regret
Accumulate many good deeds whilst still alive
For the pleasure of Allah continue to strive
For this, Inshallah, Jannahis your reward
Repent now, come and worship your Lord.

Fast or Feast?

C'mon its time to pray
Magrib time is moving away
Just wait Im almost done
Please just 1 more savory bun
Remember Salaatul Awaabeen
An opportunity for us to strengthen our Deen
Just 6 Rakaats, hardly muchpain
And 12 years sawaab to your name
Just wait! My samoosas arerunning away
Don't forget I was fasting the whole long day!
Some time for ALLAH 's words wont you spare?
It's the month of the Qur'aan, don't you care!
What! These pies I can't waste!
My favorite I at least have to taste
Some Zikr to enlighten your heart?
A few moments for taleem wont you part?
Not now! A good time it doesn't seem
I'm just about to tuck in to my delicious haleem
The month is over much too fast
And 1 more Ramadhaan has already passed
Wasn't it such a spiritual feat?
Oh Definitely! But atleast now I can eat!
