*- WHAT ISLAM SAYS -* - Islam is a religion of Mercy, Peace and Blessing. Its teachings emphasize kind hear tedness, help, sympathy, forgiveness, sacrifice, love and care.Qur’an, the Shari’ah and the life of our beloved Prophet (SAW) mirrors this attribute, and it should be reflected in the conduct of a Momin.Islam appreciates those who are kind to their fellow being, and dislikes them who are hard hearted, curt, and hypocrite.Recall that historical moment, when Prophet (SAW) entered Makkah as a conqueror. There was before him a multitude of surrendered enemies, former oppressors and persecutors, who had evicted the Muslims from their homes, deprived them of their belongings, humiliated and intimidated Prophet (SAW) hatched schemes for his murder and tortured and killed his companions. But Prophet (SAW) displayed his usual magnanimity, generosity, and kind heartedness by forgiving all of them and declaring general amnesty...Subhanallah. May Allah help us tailor our life according to the teachings of Islam. (Aameen)./-

Hadees - , 82 hadith found in ' Knowledge ' of Sahih Bukhari.

56
Narrated Abu Huraira:While the Prophet was saying something in a
gathering, a Bedouin came and asked him,"When would the Hour
(Doomsday) take place?" Allah's Apostle continued his talk, so some
people said that Allah's Apostle had heard the question, but did not
like what that Bedouin had asked. Some of them said that Alllah's
Apostle had not heard it. When the Prophet finished his speech, he
said, "Where is the questioner, who enquired about the Hour
(Doomsday)?" The Bedouin said, "I am here,O Allah's Apostle ." Then
the Prophet said, "When honesty is lost, then wait for the Hour
(Doomsday)." The Bedouin said, "How will that be lost?" The Prophet
said, "When the power or authority comes in the hands of unfit
persons, then wait for the Hour (Doomsday.)"

57
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: Once the Prophet remained behind us in a
journey. He joined us while we were performing ablution for the prayer
which was over-due. We were just passing wet hands over our feet (and
not washing them properly) so the Prophet addressed us in a loud voice
and said twice or thrice: "Save your heels from the fire."
58
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said,"Amongst the trees, thereis a
tree, the leaves of which do not fall and is like a Muslim. Tell me
the name of that tree." Everybody started thinking about the trees of
the desert areas. And I thought of the date-palmtree but felt shy to
answer the others then asked, "What is that tree, O Allah's Apostle ?"
He replied, "It is the date-palm tree."
59
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet said,"Amongst the trees, thereis a
tree, the leaves of which do not fall and is like a Muslim. Tell me
the name of that tree." Everybody started thinking about the trees of
the desert areas. And I thought of the date-palmtree. The others then
asked, "Please inform us what is that tree, O Allah's Apostle?" He
replied, "It is the date-palm tree."

Narrated Anas bin Malik: While we were sitting with the Prophet in the
mosque, a man came riding on a camel. He made his camel kneel down in
the mosque, tied its foreleg and then said: "Who amongst you is
Muhammad?" At that time the Prophet was sitting amongst us (his
companions) leaning on his arm. We replied, "Thiswhite man reclining
on his arm." The an then addressed him, "O Son of 'Abdul Muttalib."
The Prophet said, "I am here to answer your questions." The man said
to the Prophet, "I want toask you something and will be hard in
questioning. So do not get angry." The Prophet said, "Ask whatever you
want." The man said, "I ask you by your Lord, and the Lord of those
who were before you, has Allah sent you as an Apostle to all the
mankind?" The Prophet replied, "By Allah, yes." The man further said,
"I ask you by Allah. Has Allah ordered you to offer five prayers in a
day and night (24 hours).? He replied, "By Allah, Yes." The man
further said, "I ask you byAllah! Has Allah ordered you to observe
fasts during this month of the year (i.e. Ramadan)?" He replied, "By
Allah, Yes." The man further said, "I ask you by Allah. Has Allah
ordered you to takeZakat (obligatory charity)from our rich people
anddistribute it amongst our poor people?" The Prophet replied, "By
Allah, yes." Thereupon that man said, "I have believed in all that
with which you have been sent, and I have been sent by my people as a
messenger, and I am Dimam bin Tha'laba fromthe brothers of Bani Sa'd
bin Bakr."
64
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Abbas: Once Allah's Apostle gave a letter to a
person and ordered him to go and deliver it to theGovernor of Bahrain.
(He did so) and the Governor of Bahrain sent it to Chousroes, who read
thatletter and then tore it to pieces. (The sub-narrator (Ibn Shihab)
thinks that Ibn Al-Musaiyab said that Allah's Apostle invoked Allah
against them (saying), "May Allah tear them into pieces, and disperse
them all totally.)"
65
Narrated Anas bin Malik: Once the Prophet wrote a letter or had an
idea of writing a letter. The Prophet was told that they (rulers)
would not read letters unless they were sealed. So the Prophet got a
silver ring made with "Muhammad Allah's Apostle" engravedon it. As if
I were just observing its white glitter in the hand of the Prophet

Narrated Abu Waqid Al-Laithi: While Allah's Apostle was sitting in the
mosque with some people, three men came. Two of them came in front of
Allah's Apostle and the third one went away. The two persons kept on
standing before Allah's Apostle for a whileand then one of them found
a place in the circle and sat there whilethe other sat behind the
gathering, and the third one went away. When Allah's Apostle finished
his preaching, he said,"Shall I tell you about these three persons?
One of them be-took himself to Allah, so Allah took him into His grace
and mercy and accommodated him, the second felt shy from Allah, so
Allah sheltered Him in His mercy (and didnot punish him), while the
third turned his face from Allah and went away, so Allah turned His
face from him likewise. "
67
Narrated 'Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakra's father: Once the Prophet was
riding his camel and a man was holding its rein. The Prophet
asked,"What is the day today?" We kept quiet, thinking that he might
give that day another name. He said, "Isn't it the day of Nahr
(slaughtering of theanimals of sacrifice)" We replied, "Yes." He
further asked, "Which month is this?" We again kept quiet, thinking
that he might give it another name. Then he said, "Isn'tit the month
of Dhul-Hijja?" We replied,"Yes." He said, "Verily! Your blood,
property andhonor are sacred to one another (i.e. Muslims) likethe
sanctity of this day ofyours, in this month of yours and in this city
of yours. It is incumbent upon those who are present to inform those
who are absent because those who are absent might comprehend (what I
have said) better than the present audience."
68
Narrated Ibn Mas'ud: The Prophet used to take care of us in preaching
by selecting a suitable time, so that we might not get bored. (He
abstained from pesteringus with sermons and knowledge all the time).
69
Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said,"Facilitate things to people
(concerning religious matters), and do not make it hard for them and
give them good tidings and do not make them run away (from Islam)."
70
Narrated Abu Wail: 'Abdullah used to give a religious talk to the
people on every Thursday. Once a man said, "O Aba 'Abdur-Rahman! (By
Allah) I wishif you could preach us daily." He replied, "The only
thing which prevents me from doing so, is that I hate to bore you, and
no doubt I take care of you in preaching by selecting a suitable time
just as the Prophet used to do with us, for fear of making us bored."
71
Narrated Muawiya: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "If Allah wants to
do good to a person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a
distributor, but the grantis from Allah. (And remember) that this
nation (true Muslims) willkeep on following Allah'steachings strictly
and they will not be harmed by any one going on a different path till
Allah's order (Day of Judgment) is established."
72
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: We were with the Prophet and a spadix of date-palm
tree was brought to him. On that he said, "Amongst the trees, there is
a tree which resembles a Muslim." I wanted to say that it was the
date-palmtree but as I was the youngest of all (of them) I kept quiet.
And then theProphet said, "It is the date-palm tree."
73
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud: The Prophet said, "Do not wish to be
like anyone except in two cases. (The first is) A person, whom Allah
has given wealth and he spends it righteously; (the second is) the one
whom Allah has given wisdom (the Holy Qur'an)and he acts according to
it and teaches it to others." (Fateh-al-Bari page 177 Vol. 1)
74
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: That he differed with Hurbin Qais bin Hisn
Al-Fazariregarding the companion of (the Prophet) Moses. Ibn 'Abbas
said that he was Khadir. Meanwhile, Ubai bin Ka'b passed by them and
Ibn 'Abbas called him, saying "My friend (Hur) and I have differed
regarding Moses' companion whom Moses, asked the way to meet. Have you
heard the Prophet mentioning something about him? Hesaid, "Yes. I
heard Allah's Apostle saying, "While Moses was sitting in the company
of some Israelites, a man came and asked him. "Do you know anyone who
is more learned than you? Moses replied: "No." So Allah sent the
Divine Inspiration to Moses: 'Yes,Our slave Khadir (is more learned
than you.)' Mosesasked (Allah) how to meet him (Khadir). So Allah made
the fish as a sign for him and he was told that when the fish was
lost, he should return (to the place where he had lost it) andthere he
would meet him(Al-Khadir). So Moses went on looking for the sign of
the fish in the sea.The servant-boy of Mosessaid to him: Do you
remember when we betook ourselves to the rock, I indeed forgot the
fish, none but Satan made me forget to remember it. On that Moses
said: 'That is what we have been seeking? (18.64) So they went back
retracing their foot-steps, and found Khadir. (And) what happened
further to them is narrated in the Holy Qur'an by Allah. (18.54 up to
18.82)

Hawwa (Eve): Mother of Mankind - Biographies of the Companions (Sahabah)

Hawwa was the first woman and the first Muslimah to be created by Allah (s.w.t).
Hawwa represents, on the one hand, womanhood and, on the other, the
source of human population. In fact, her name means"the source of
life". Hawwa also has another meaning which is used todenote a reddy
colour that is closer to the darker tone. There is an opinion that
this could allude to her skin colour.
The name Hawwa itself isnot mentioned in the Qur'an but is mentioned
in hadeeth literature. For it is there that we get such information as
the meaning of her name, how she was created andhow many children she
had.
For instance, Hawwa, according to the Qur'an, was created from Adam
(see Surah an-Nisaa:1 and Surah az-Zumar:6). From Bukhari, this was
further elucidated and we find that Hawwa was created from the upper
rib of Adam.
Narrated Abu Huraira (r) Allah's Apostle (s) said:"Treat women nicely,
for a woman is created from a rib, and the most curved portion of the
rib is its upper portion, so, if you should try to straighten it, it
will break; but if you leave it as it is, it will remain crooked. So
treat womennicely." (Bukhari) This hadeeth does not literallymean that
women are crooked or evil by nature. What it means is that women are
delicate and should be treated gently and with care. Furthermore, it
has been explained that the breakage of the rib in case one tries to
straighten it, stands for divorce which is the natural results of
disagreement between the wife and her husband. In the Qur'an, the
story of Adam and Hawwa can be found in three places, namely Surah
al-Baqara:30-39, Surah al-A'araf:11-25, and Surah Ta-Ha:116-123.As the
story goes, Allah created Adam from clay and taught him the names of
things, that is knowledge. Then Allah said in the Qur'an (surah
Ta-Ha:116-123):
When We said to the angels, "prostrate yourselves to Adam",
theyprostrated themselves, but Iblis: he refused. Then We said "O
Adam! Verily this is an enemy to you and your wife: so let him not get
you both out of the Garden, so that you art landed in misery. There is
therein (enough provision) for you not to go hungry nor go naked. Nor
to suffer from thirst, nor from the sun's heat.
But Satan whispered evil to him. He said "O Adam! Shall I lead you to
the tree of eternity and to a kingdom that never decays?" In the
result, they both ate of the tree, and so their nakedness appeared to
them: they began to sew together, for their covering, leaves from the
Garden: Thus did Adam disobey his Lord and fell into error.
But his Lord chose him (for His Grace): He turned to him and gave him
guidance. He said "Get you down both of you, alltogether, from the
Garden, with enmity one to another: but if as is sure, there comes to
you guidance from Me, whosoever follows My guidance will not lose
hisway nor fall into misery.
In all cultures and its religious beliefs, traces ofthe story of Adam
and Hawwa can be found, though it has been greatly distorted. However,
it is important to note that the Quranic story of Adam and Hawwa
differs from the Old Testament in that :
(i) Both Adam and Hawwa were equally guilty of disobeying Allahby
eating from "that" tree. "That" tree does notmean an apple tree. Only
Allah knows what fruit"that" tree bears.
(ii) Allah forgave Adam's and Hawwa's sins before their descent to earth.
(iii) It was part of Allah's will that Adam and Hawwa were to reside
onearth. For, Allah in surah al-Baqara, ayah 30, He said that He is
creating Adam as a vicegerent on earth. Furthermore, from the hadeeth
we have: Abu Hurairah reported: The Apostle of Allah (s) said: 'When
Adam and Moses held a discussion, Adam won. Moses said:"You are the
same Adam who set people astray and had them ousted from Heaven". Adam
asked: "Art you the same Moses whom Allah gave knowledge of all things
and honoured you with Apostleship?" He replied:"Yes!" Adam said: "And
yet you accused me of that which has written inmy fate!" (Al-Muwatta')
When Adam and Hawwa landed on earth they were separated. According to
traditions Hawwa landed in Jeddah while Adam landed somewhere in India
(some say in Sri Lanka). Then on the ninth of Zhuh Hijjah, they met at
'Arafat. Thus, began their life together on earth till they were
called back to Allah.
Hawwa gave birth twenty times and each time she had twins with the
exception of her last birth, where she gave birth to only a son. In
other words, she had thirty-nine children in total. The gap between
each birth was two years.

Story - , Moons Peak [FINISHED]- Wolf Eyes (chapter 12)

AFTER THE QUARTER MILE marathon I'd just exhausted my body through, I
could just make out the logwood house from across the field.
By now it had to be at least six o'clock in the morning, because the
sun had peered through the clouds, painting the sky a pinky orange
tinge.
I silently hoped someone was awake…or home for that matter. God, I'd
die ifI found out no one was home, it'll make my mini marathon I'd
just put my legs through completely worthless.
Seeing smoke trailing from the chimney, however, made me sigh in
relief. Someone had tobe awake.
In fact, I remembered Aretha Heins had always been an early bird, and
a preference for waking up early just to bake bread, while Satchel and
I would sit in front of the hearth. Sipping on a hot chocolate until
we had the privilege of honing inon the sweet taste of the homemade
bread.
I could almost smell it from my memories. Shaking of my reverie, I
felt a weird feeling crawling in my stomach.
The closer the logwood house got, the faster my heart started beating,
and I found myself nervous all of a sudden thinking about Satchel.
Actually, my sudden nervousness made me want to rethink my decision
and want to crawl back into the carriage, because I wasn't sure what I
was going to say to him once I saw him.
Would he be happy I stayed? Or will he reject me like he'd done when
Itried to kiss him? I flinched, not wanting to go down that path.
Despite the unnerving butterflies swarming in my stomach, my feet
refused to stop and urged me forward until I reached the gate that
lead to the front yard.
I stopped in front of the porch to catch my breath, and before I got
the courage to knock on the door. I caught somethingmoving in my
peripheral.
The movement was so fast, that it was almost impossible to detect. I
narrowed my eyes.
What the hell was that? My mind exclaimed.
I was a knock away from help, but my legs found movement and so I
decided to follow the edge of the house to the backyard and
found…nothing.
I wasn't sure if 'nothing' was a good sign or bad sign, but something
was here, I could feel it.
I surveyed the area, frowning at the axe that was stuck in the stump,
and a pile of cut wood lying forlornly beside it. As if Satchel had
been at work, cutting kindling just mere seconds ago.
I was startled from the slight crack of a twig, and I whipped my head
toward the pine trees that marked the backyard boundaries.
My eyes narrowed at the trees, and I swear I could make out a pair of
startling green eyes staring through the branches of pine needles.
They were camouflaged to the point where they blended in, but the slow
movement of a blink reassured me of my earlier thought that they were
in fact eyes. But notjust any eyes, they were the eyes of an animal.
Wolf eyes.
As soon as my mind summoned the thought, my heartbeat amped up, and I
wasn't sure if running was the best thing to do when confronted by an
animal, neither was looking straight into its eyes.
I wasn't a hundred percent sure, but I was betting my life that that
animal was the same animal that had attacked me from the other night.
Just judging from the color of its piercing gaze.
I wanted to run and scream, but something willed my voice box to
close, it was almost impossible to breath.
Deciding not to run, and give it any reason to chase me, I froze.
Hoping to God, that the animal would spear my life, evenif it was the
last thought I'd get, I didn't want to die this way.
I'm not going to die this way. My thoughts stated, and I almost
believed it, until it moved out of its hiding place.
I watched it stalk toward me, in a predatory gait sograceful I was
awestruck. It was beautiful and the most terrifying thing I'd had to
witness.
Not just the way it walked, but looked too. The silky black fur was so
remarkably brilliant; it shimmered from the early morning glow, every
time a paw pounded the earth.
One foot in front of the other, as it slowly neared. It had something
in its mouth but I couldn't make out what it was at this point. He
could have had a human head in its mouth for all I knew.
Or about to have one. I stifled a squeal at my thoughts and silently prayed.
Squeezing my eyes shut for emphasis, and I braced myself for whatever
was coming. I could hear my teeth grinding. Or was that the animals
teeth? I wasn't sure.
And the slight pant I remember from the time it attacked me. I could
feel it closer now, and the hairs in the nape of my neck started to
protest.
Oh God! I'm so dead! I flinched, feeling something on my hand. I frowned.
Just as I thought my death had come, I felt a sticky wet sensation on
the back of my hand, andso I peeled one eye open to investigate.
And to my astonishment Ifound the beastly animal licking me.
I didn't know what to do,so I let it. It tugged me bythe sleeve, and I
frownedat it. It looked up me with those light green eyes, and tugged
again.
"I can't...I don't know what you want me to do." I was surprised to
have found my voice. It tugged again and I realized the animal wanted
me to sit.
"Sit? You want me to sit?"He tugged me lower, as ifto say yes, so I
complied, kneeling on the ground.
The black beast sat on its haunches in front of me and stared
attentively. I still felt a little shaky, but the fact that it wasn't
staring at me like a meal, was a little comforting I guess.
I frowned at the thing I had seen in his mouth, and it wasn't a human
head (thank god!), but instead it was a green rag of something.
The wet sloshes of goulash made it impossible to know what, and I
wanted to squeal when the animal placed the thing on my lap.
I raised my eyebrows at it, realizing what it was as I noticed the
silky expensive fabric that wasonce a piece of my green blouse.
It nudged me to take it, and I reluctantly held it up to him and smiled.
"Thanks…for returning the rest of my blouse." I scoffed, not sure what
else to say. Was this somekind of peace offering or something?
It licked me again, and I finally relaxed…a little. Since it was clear
the animal wasn't going to bite my head off…well yet anyway.
Minutes passed, and I found myself being reacquainted with the animal,
petting it slightly on the head, but not pushing it by leaving my
hands near its muzzle.
After all, I intended on keeping my fingers, and any of my body parts
for that matter.
Though he seemed to like it, so I kept doing it. Petting him absent
mindedly. I was so lost in thought, that I squealed when I felt the
slick feeling of the animals tongue as he licked my cheek.
My eyes were wide, and I was about to cuss, when Icould make out the
weird way its jaws were set. Like it was smiling at me.
A wolf can smile?
I smiled raising my eyebrows.
"You do know, it's kinda rude to lick a girl on the first date?" I
teased, and Iheard a rumble coming from its chest, doing its best to
sound what I thought was a wolf-like chuckle. I was laughing too.
I marveled at his eyes though, as they stared unblinkingly into my
soul. So familiar, yet I've never seen anything like them.
Besides Satchel's, he had amazing eyes too. I sighed at the mere
thought of him. I wish Satchel were here with me. I let my fingers run
over the soft fur of the wolf, and smiled.
"You're beautiful you know that? I wish you were mine." I whispered.
The wolf lay its head on my lap, and the simple gesture felt like it
was agreeing. Then I chastised my thoughts for my absurdity. Of
course, this wolf was not mine to own. It probably had a family to go
back to anyway.
I flinched as soon as its ears perked up, and his eyes were on the fading moon.
"What's wrong?" I asked, as I followed its stare.
And just like that, the animal leapt up and raced toward the forest,
until the wolf was completely swallowed upby pine needles.
He was gone.

Sihr is a serious crime and is one of the kinds of kufr. It is one of
things with which people have been tested, in the past and currently,
among the nations of the past, during the Jaahiliyyah and in this
ummah. The more ignorance increases, the less there is knowledge and
awareness of faith, the less attention the authorities pay to this
matter - the more the practitioners of sihr and trickery increase and
spread in the land, to take the people's wealthand confuse them and do
other things. When knowledge prevails and faith increases, and the
Islamic authorities are powerful, the number ofthese evil people
shrinksand they move from oneland to another, seeking a place where
their falsehood will be accepted and they will be able to engage in
their trickery and corruption.
The Qur'aan and Sunnah have described the kindsof sihr and the rulings
on these matters.
Sihr is so called because its means are hidden or secret, and because
the practitioners of sihr dealwith things in secret which enable them
to perform illusions to confuse the people and deceive their eyes, and
to cause them harm or steal their money, etc., ina secretive manner so
that in most cases nobody realizes what is happening. Hence the last
part of the night is called sahar, because at the end of the night
people are unaware andthey do not move about much. And the lungs are
also called sahr, because they are hidden inside the body.
According to sharee'ah, the meaning of sihr is what the magicians do
to delude and confuse people, so that the one who is watching thinks
that it is real when in fact it is not. As Allaah said concerning the
magicians of Pharaoh (interpretation of the meaning):
"They said: 'O Moosa! Either you throw first or we be the first to throw?'
Moosa said: 'Nay, throw you (first)!' Then behold!their ropes and
their sticks, by their magic, appeared to him as though they moved
fast.
So Moosa conceived fearin himself.
We (Allaah) said: 'Fear not! Surely, you will have the upper hand.
And throw that which is in your right hand! It will swallow up that
which they have made. That which they have made is only a magician's
trick, and the magician will never be successful, to whatever amount
(of skill) he may attain.'"
[Ta-Ha 20:65-69]
Sihr may involve things that the magician does when tying knots on
which he blows, as is referred to in the Qur'aan (interpretation of
the meaning):
"And from the evil of those who practise witchcraft when they blow in
the knots"[al-Falaq 113:4]
And it may involve other things which they manage to do through the
shayaateen (devils), so they do things that may affect a man's reason
or make him sick;they may cause division between a man and his wife,
resulting in her looking ugly to him, or by making her hate her
husband or be put off byhim. This is blatant kufr as the Qur'aan
states. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
"They followed what theShayaateen (devils) gaveout (falsely of the
magic)in the lifetime of Sulaymaan (Solomon). Sulaymaan did not
disbelieve, but the Shayaateen (devils) disbelieved, teaching men
magic"
[al-Baqarah 2:102]
Allaah informs us that they (the shayaateen) committed kufr by
teaching men magic. Then He says (interpretation of the meaning):
"and such things that came down at Babylon to the two angels, Haaroot
and Maaroot, but neither of these two (angels) taught anyone (such
things) till they had said, 'We are for trial, so disbelieve not (by
learning this magic from us).'"[al-Baqarah 2:102]
Then Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
"And from these (angels) people learn that by which they
causeseparation between man and his wife, but they could not thus
harmanyone except by Allaah's Leave"[al-Baqarah 2:102]
i.e., this magic and any harm that results from it is subject to the
prior decree and will of Allaah, for our Lord cannot be overwhelmed
and nothing can happenin His Dominion against His Will. Nothing
happens in this world or in the hereafter except by His prior decree
and His great wisdom, as He wills. So some people may be tested by
sihr, and others may be tested by sickness, or by being killed...etc.
Allaah is All-Wise in all that He wills and decrees, and inall that He
prescribes for His slaves. Hence Allaah says (interpretation of the
meaning):
"but they could not thus harm anyone except by Allaah's Leave"
[al-Baqarah 2:102]
i.e., by His universal (kawni) will and decree, not by His legislative
(shar'i) will [i.e., He wills that it should happen but He does not
enjoin itand He is not pleased by such actions]. For sharee'ah does
not allowsuch things, indeed it forbids them, but by His universal
leave He already knows and has already decreed that So and so will do
sihr, and that So and so will be affected by sihr, just as He already
knows and has already decreed thatSo and so will be killed, or
afflicted with a certain sickness, or will die in a certain land,
andwill receive such and such provision, or will berich or poor. All
of that happens by the will and decree of Allaah, as He says
(interpretation of the meaning):
"Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments
of all things before their creation as written in the Book of Decrees
Al-Lawh Al-Mahfooz)[al-Qamar 54:49]
"No calamity befalls on the earth or in yourselves but it is
inscribed in the Book of Decrees (Al-Lawh Al-Mahfooz) before We bring
it into existence. Verily, that is easy for Allaah"
[al-Hadeed 57:22]
The evils that come at the hands of the magicians or others do not
happen because our Lord is ignorant, for He knows all things and
nothing at all is hidden from Him, as He says (interpretation of the
meaning):
"Verily, Allaah is the All-Knower of everything"[al-Anfaal 8:75]
"that you may know that Allaah has power over all things, and that
Allâh surrounds all things in (His) Knowledge"[al-Talaaq 65:12]
So Allaah knows all things, and nothing happens in His Dominionthat
He does not will, butHe has perfect wisdom and good aims in whatever
He decrees should happen to peopleof honour or humiliation, losing or
gaining power, sickness or health, magic and other things.
Everything that happens to people happens by the will of Allaah and in
accordance with His prior decree. These magicians may perform their
illusions, as stated in the aayah quoted above (interpretation of the
meaning):
"They said: 'O Moosa! Either you throw first or we be the first to throw?'
Moosa said: 'Nay, throw you (first)!' Then behold!their ropes and
their sticks, by their magic, appeared to him as though they moved
fast. [Ta-Ha 20:65-66]
It appeared to the onlooker as if these sticks and ropes were snakes,
moving fast in the valley. They were only sticks and ropes, but the
magicians, through what they had learned, made what theydemonstrated
before the people look different in their eyes to what it really was.
Allaah says (interpretation if the meaning):
"by their magic, appeared to him as though they moved fast"
[Ta-Ha 20:66]
And in Soorat al-A'raaf Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
"He [Moosa] said: 'Throw you (first).' So when they threw, they
bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them, and
they displayed a great magic" [al-A'raaf 7:116]
But in fact their sticks and ropes did not change; it was the
people's sight which changed because of the sihr, so they thought they
were snakes, because of the illusion brought about by the magicians.
Some people call this taqmeer, which is when the magician does things
to make a person not sense reality as it really is, so his eyes do not
see what is really there and things may be taken from his shop or his
home without him realizing it, i.e., he does not know what is really
happening. So he may see a rock as a chicken or as an egg, and so on,
because reality has beenchanged in his eyes because of the
confusionwrought by the magician, and because his eyes have been
bewitched. There are things that the magicians do with certain
substances to make people's eyes not see what is really happening.
This is the kind of magic which Allaah describes as "great" [i.e.
serious, powerful] in Soorat al-A'raaf (interpretation of the
meaning):
"... So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and
struckterror into them, and they displayed a great magic" [al-A'raaf
7:116]

Jinn, witchcraft and the evil eye - , Should the one who hasbeen affected by witchcraft see the one who put the spell on himduring the ruqyah?

When someone is sick because of sahr (magic)and he does ruqueyah, is
it possible, when the man who readthe Coran, that the sick sees who
did the sahr to him and how it was done? Some people say that what the
sick sees during ruqueyah can be right but it can be also wrong. Those
people say that if someone accuse someone else then he has to do tawba
becausehe accuse someone who maybe didn't do anything. Are those people
right? Please answer my question because a lot of people have problems
because of this.
Praise be to Allaah.
What people have told you, that the one who has been affected by
witchcraft should see the one who put the evileye on him or put a
spellon him, may or may not be true. It is not correct to accuse an
innocent person of using witchcraft against the victim. What the
victim sees during the ruqyah cannot be taken as being correct for
sure, rather what usually happens is something imaginary from the
Shaytaan that is aimed at stirring up enmity andhatred among people.
So we should not pay any attention to it. But even though, according
to sharee'ah, such thingscannot be relied on, thatdoes not mean that
we should not take precautions against those whom it is feared may
cause harm throughwitchcraft or the evil eyeetc, without that implying
any accusation without proof or causing any feeling of enmity.
This accusation is very serious because it may be tantamount to an
accusation of kufr, and not just an accusation of causing harm. That
is because the practitioner of witchcraft is either a kaafir or an
evildoer. The ruling varies according to the way in which he practices
witchcraft.
Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen said in his commentary on the hadeeth, "Avoid
the seven things which doom a person to Hell: associating others with
Allaah, witchcraft…":
The word sihr (witchcraft) is one of theactions that doom a person to
Hell. The apparent meaning of the words of the Prophet SAWS (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him) is that it makes no difference if
that is done through the devils or by means of medicines and potions.
Because if it is done through the devils, that can only be done by
associating them in worship with Allaah, which comes under the heading
of shirk (associating others with Allaah). If it is other thanthat, it
is also a major sin, because witchcraft isone of the worst crimes that
can be committed against the sons of Adam. It adversely affects the
spiritual and worldly affairs of the victim, and causes him anxiety,
thus making him like an animal. Indeed it is even worse than that,
because animals were created like that, but if a human being is
diverted from his true, sound nature, this causes hardship and anxiety
to an extent which only Allaah knows. Hence witchcraft comes second
only to shirk in this list of grave sins.
Al-Qawl al-Mufeed Sharh Kitaab al-Tawheed, 2/287.

Jinn, witchcraft and the evil eye - , Is there any virtue or distinction for one who dies as the result of witchcraft?

I have a colleague whose grandmother died as the result of witchcraft,
after three years of being bewitched. They tried to treat her but to
no avail. My colleague is asking me whether her death isnormal or
whether thereis any virtue or anything that distinguishes a person who
dies as the result of witchcraft?.
Praise be to Allaah.
After researching the matter, we could not find any evidence or report
which indicates that there is any special virtue for one who dies as
the result of witchcraft, except that if the victim of witchcraft
bears this calamity with patience, he will have the reward of those
whoare patient, and what a great reward that is. Allaah says
(interpretation of the meaning):
"Only those who are patient shall receive their reward in full,
without reckoning"
[al-Zumar 39:10]
"And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss
of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As- Saabiroon
(the patient).
156. Who, when afflictedwith calamity, say: 'Truly,to Allaah we belong
and truly, to Him we shall return.'
157. They are those on whom are the Salawaat (i.e. who are blessed
andwill be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive
His Mercy, and it is they whoare the guided ones"
[al-Baqarah 2:155-157]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The
greater reward comes with the greater trial. When Allaah loves a
people He tests them; whoever accepts that will earn divine
pleasureand whoever is discontent with that will earn divine wrath."
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2396; Ibn Maajah, 4031; classed as saheeh by
al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.
And he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Calamities
will continueto befall the believing man and woman in regard to
themselves, their children and their wealth, until they meet Allaah
with no sins on them." Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2399; classedas saheeh
by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.
Al-Bukhaari (5653) and Muslim (2576) narrated that 'Ata' ibn Abi
Rabaah said: Ibn 'Abbaas said to me: Shall I show you a woman from
among the people of Paradise?" I said, "Yes." He said: "Thisblack
woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
and said, 'I suffer from epilepsy and I become uncovered. Pray to
Allaah for me.' Hesaid, 'If you wish, you may bear it with patience
and Paradise will be yours, or if you wish I will pray to Allaah to
heal you.' She said, 'I will be patient.' Then shesaid, 'But I become
uncovered; pray to Allaah for me that I will not become uncovered.' So
he prayed for her."
It should be noted that witchcraft is something real, and it may lead
to the victim becoming sick, and may even kill him.
Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: In
sharee'ah, witchcraft is divided into two kinds:
1 - Spells and incantations, i.e., recitations and unclear words by
means of which the practitioner of witchcraft is able to use the
devils to do whathe wants of harming his victim. But Allaah says
(interpretation of the meaning):
"but they could not thus harm anyone except by Allaah's Leave"
[al-Baqarah 2:102]
2 - Medicines and potions that affect the body, mind, will and
inclinations of the victim, so that he turns away from a person or
inclines towards him or her.
So they make a man incline towards his wife or towards another woman,
so that he becomes like a dumb beast that she can lead wherever she
wants. Or they make the opposite happen.
They affect the victims physically by weakening him little by little,
until he dies.
Or they make him imagine things to be other than they really are.
Their affect on his mind may go so far as to makehim insane - Allaah forbid.
End quote from Sharh Kitaab al-Tawheed, 2/5.
The victim may attain the reward of the martyr, if the witchcraft
leads to him suffering a stomach disease, the plague or pleurisy, or
it leads to a woman dying in pregnancy. Ahmad (23804), Abu Dawood
(3111) and al-Nasaa'i (1846) narrated that the Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "What do you think martyrdom
is?" They said: "Being killed for the sake of Allaah." The Messenger
of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Martyrdom
is seven things besides being killed for the sake of Allaah, The one
who diesof the plague is a martyr;the one who dies by drowning is a
martyr; the one who dies of pleurisy is a martyr; the one who dies of
a stomach disease is a martyr; the who dies by burning is a martyr;
the one who dies beneath a collapsed wall or building is a martyr; and
the woman who dies in pregnancy is a martyr." This hadeeth was
classedas saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.
It says in 'Awn al-Ma'bood:
... "the one who dies by drowning" - if his journey was for a
permissible purpose. "The one who dies of pleurisy" - this refers to
ulcers or abscesses which a person gets in his side, then they open
and the pain ceases at the time of death; its signs include pain
beneath the ribs and difficulty in breathing accompanied by fever and
coughing. "The one who dies of a stomach disease" - this refers to
diarrhoea or dropsy, or pain in the stomach. ...
"the woman who dies inpregnancy" - al-Khattaabi said: this means, if
she dies with a child in her womb. End quote.
And Allaah knows best.

Paradise and hell are in existence now in another dimension in the Sight of Allah 2

· Why did Allah, the Omniscient, create satan, earthly desires and Hell?
· How do satan, earthly desires and Hell bestow depth on a person?
· What is the wisdom behind the creation of difficulties?
As revealed in verse 30 of Surat al-Baqara, " When your Lord said to
the angels, 'I am putting a successive authority onthe earth,' they
said, 'Why put on it one who will cause corruption on it and shed
blood when we glorify You with praise and proclaim Yourpurity?' He
said, 'I know what you do not know'," Allah created conscious
entities, human beings, even though angels were already in existence
This is becauseAllah loves human beings according to their piety, who
harbor a fervent love and fear of Him, who know and praise His might,
who love and appreciate His creations, who know and are content with
all the beauties He creates and who delight in all these things, more
than He does the angels. The reason why Allah loves human beings more
than the angels is that angels simply obey Allah's commands, while
human beings strive against satan and earthly desires and believe in
the mysteries without seeing Him. It is because of these traits that
separate man from the angels that our Lord addresses our Prophet
(saas) as "beloved," thus indicating the love He feels for the
Messengers and devout believers. Rasulullah (saas) notes this love
that Allah feels for His servants in a hadith, " ALLAH said: "I have
created you from My own light, and other things from your light." (
Îmân Ahmed, Musnad IV-127; Hâkim, Mustadrak II-600/4175; Ibni Hibban,
Al- Ihsân XIV-312/6404; Ajlûnî, Keshfu' al-Hâfâ I-265/827 ).
" Who could have a better faith than someone who submits himself
completely to Allah and is a good-doer,and follows the religion of
Abraham, a man of pure natural belief? Allah took Abraham as an
intimate friend." (Surat an-Nisa, 125)
In verse 125 of Surat an-Nisa', our Lord expresses His love of those
who have faith by speaking of the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) as an
"intimate friend."
Our Lord Created Satan, Earthly Desires and Hell for Human Beings to Compare
Allah loves all fine things, including virtuous people, pleasant views
and delightful scenes and places. And He wants human beings to
delightin them, too. For example, He has sent down the verses of the
Qur'an with a delightful, melodious and magnificent harmony. Had He
wished, He could have sent them down without that harmony. Had He
wished, He could have created man in Paradise, without creating the
Earth and Hell at all. But if human beings had been createddirectly in
Paradise, theycould never have knownthe deficiencies of this world and
the torments of Hell, and could never have compared them and attained
the fervor, depth and submission desired by Allah. As revealed in
verses of the Qur'an, Allah created the Prophet Adam (pbuh) and his
wife in Paradise. Despite being a prophet,Adam (pbuh) fell into error
because he knew nowhere else other thanParadise. Indeed, verses reveal
that the sorrow the prophet Adam (pbuh) felt when he descended to
earth stemmed from his comparing this world with that of Paradise.
This regret is described as follows in verses:
" But satan made them slip up by means of it, expelling them from
where they were. We said, 'Go down from here as enemies to each other!
You will have residence on the earth and enjoyment for a time.'
Then Adam received some words from his Lord and He turned towards
him. He is the Ever-Returning, the Most Merciful." (Surat al-Baqara,
36- 37)
The beauty of anything can only be appreciated in comparison with what
is unpleasant and ugly, and virtue can onlybe appreciated when
compared with vice. Onecan compare the glorious variety and beauty of
life by putting good and bad, attractiveand ugly side by side and thus
come to appreciate all the blessings one possesses. Otherwise, one
cannot give thanks for or appreciate the value of one's blessings, and
one would not wish to strive against one's earthly desires in order to
attainthe infinite delights of Paradise. One can only appreciate
delights in this world and enjoy Paradise in the Hereafterby making
comparisons. But in that event, by Allah's will, Paradise and all of
its delights becomea true blessing.
Striving against Satan and His Supporters Bestows a Feeling of Fervor and Depth
In the verse " Mankind! Eat what is good and lawful on the earth. And
do not follow in the footsteps of satan. He truly is an outright enemy
to you" ( Surat al-Baqara , 168) Allah reveals that satan is the enemy
of man and commands man to strive against him. Had our Lord not
created satan, there would be no struggle between him and his
supporters and Muslims, and no preaching of the word. Having a
profound faith, waging an intellectual struggle to bring about the
glorious reign of Islam, intending to be a follower of Hazrat
Mahdi(pbuh), being a strong and honorable believer and intellectually
annihilating superstitionand the way of the dajjalall bring great joy
and fervor to devout believers.
Indeed Allah in the past created Pharaoh against the Prophet Moses
(pbuh), Nimrod against the Prophet Abraham (pbuh), pagans and
hypocrites such as Abu Lahab and Abu Jahil against our Prophet (saas)
and the dajjal against Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), so that believers can
enjoy beauty and zeal. Allah sends the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) back to
earth for there to be beauty and so Muslims can delight in it,and
makes Hazrat KHidhir (pbuh) instrumental in many events.
Allah gives Muslims the impression that the innocent are suffering
for the test. They appear to be suffering and dying. But they do not
suffer at all. Our Lord says this of martyred Muslims, " They are
alive and well provided for in the very presence of their Lord, "
(Surat al-'Imran, 169) thus making their condition in His Presence
perfectly clear. But by creating troubles and martyrdom in this way,
Allah increases Muslims' feelings of zeal and eliminates apathy and
monotony.
Striving against Earthly Desires and the Difficulties One Encounters
Bestow Depth on a Person
Striving against satan and earthly desires allowone to reflect very
deeply. Allah loves a servant who thanks Him deeply, finds him very
beautiful, and at the endof his life in this world He will reward the
believer with the eternal life of Paradise.
One who fails to see the marvels and details that Allah creates in
this world will also fail to seethem in Paradise. Someone who acts in
the light of earthly desires, who gives in to troubles and fails to
strive against them can take no pleasure fromPparadise if Allah places
him there. The glorious life of Paradise and all its delights will
mean nothing to him because he has not striven to earn Paradise, has
made no comparisonbetween deficiencies and beauties and has acquired
no spiritual depth. But in the face of satan, Hell, and earthly
desires one acquires a glorious depth and never forgets one's struggle
for all time. One's endeavors in the face of these tests created by
Allah give one a profound mind and soul. That is when Paradise becomes
delightful for the believer. As commanded in verses:
" O self at rest and at peace, return to your Lord, well-pleasing and
well-pleased! Enter among My slaves!
Enter My Garden.(Surat al-Fajr, 27- 30)
Mr. Adnan Oktar Describes How Allah Will Not Give One a Greater Burden
Than One Can Bear
I am 55, for example. I cannot remember any burdens I could not bear.
I entered a mental asylum. They put me in there with the worst madmen.
But I thought of that verse and was really not troubled at all.Allah,
Allah. I was really very comfortable. They put me in the lunatics'
ward in prison, and I was quite comfortable. The people put on that
ward had all killed people. They were walking around in front of me.
We became friends and talked. The colonel in charge of the prison
said, "I sent him there on purpose." . My ward was full of them, not
just one or two such people. "They became sothey would not hurt a fly.
They became full of love alongside Adnan Hodja," he said. You can ask
him, the colonel is still alive. "I sent him there on purpose. They
became so they would not hurt a fly, really pleasant-natured," he
said. He tells everyone that. You can ask him, the prison colonel.
BayrampaÅŸa Prison, he was known as the colonel at the time, though he
is retired now. Ask him. These things are part of the test. It is
Almighty Allah Who made them so mild and gentle. These peoplefight at
the drop of a hatin prison, anything couldhave happened, but nothing
did. The inmatesbroke down the door where I was and did all kinds of
things to each other. They killed seven people during my time there,
the mental patients. But nothing happened to me, alhamdulillah, and I
was not even uneasy. I was perfectly comfortable. I had a little tape
machineI took in there. I played Ceddin Deden and Turkish military
music. I made a chin-up bar, andthe inmates saw me and started making
them, too. There were iron bars there, and I coveredone with nylon and
made a chin-up bar. So Allah makes even difficult conditions bearable.
One characteristic of mine is that I enjoy boiled meat. There is a
herd of sheep in the mental hospital there, and they kill them every
day. They boil them up fresh, and the bones just melt away. I had my
own bowl, and they would ladle that meat into it. The mental hospital
also made greatbread, huge great loaves. We ate it like soldiers. Then
everyone started doing chin-ups. The inmates there thought I was a
doctor. They were amazed at mybeing there because they were all there
for murder. Most were unaware what was happening, they would fight one
another and shout and scream and were unable to take careof their
natural functions. But I was perfectly comfortable under those
conditions. But my mother's face was getting blanched when she came to
visit me. Her face was normally red but becamewhite during the visits.
She regarded them as a danger, but they were really inoffensive. They
would not harm anyone. But someone who did not know that, that would be
really alarmed. When the doctors and nurses came into the ward, they
fainted because of the terrifyingatmosphere there. You can look it up
in books. People could not even bear the sight of it. They would faint
within 10 minutes. But nothing happened to me, alhamdulillah. I was
quite comfortable. Why?.This was a test. You had to be brave. I had
alwaysexperienced difficult situations ever since I was a child. And
they strengthened and hardened me. Otherwise, who knows what might
have become of me? These difficulties are also the reason why I am so
zealous and full of love.

Paradise and hell are in existence now in another dimension in the Sight of Allah

· What incorrect ideas do some people hold about paradise
andhell being experienced in this world?
· Where are Paradiseand hell?
· What happens when a person dies?
Allah reveals the existence of angels, satan, Paradise and Hell in the
Qur'an. Whether out of ignorance or weakness of faith, some people
misinterpret these facts and the manifest existence of Allah (surely
Allah is beyond that). In these people's superstitious eyes, Paradise
and Hell exist in this world alone. There is even a widespread belief
among such people that everything takes place inthis world, and that
one can be restored to life in this world, even though this has no
place in the Qur'an. The fact is, however, that our Lord has
definitively pronounced that the life of this world ends once a person
dies and that they will be recreated in the Hereafter. In this verse
Allah refers to that recreation:
" We have created them a (new) creation."(Surat al-Waqi'a, 35)
Allah Has Created Many Dimensions, and the Life of This World Is Only
One of Them
As revealed in the Qur'anin the verse, " All praise belongs to Allah,
the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, Lord of all the
worlds " (Surat al-Jathiyah, 36), Allah has created many worlds in
many differentdimensions. The world we are now living in is but one of
these worlds and dimensions. The people living on Earth are in the
third dimension. Angels, spiritual beings and the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)
arein the fourth dimension. But these dimensions are all
interconnected. For that reason, by the will of Allah, angels and the
Prophet Jesus (pbuh)can come down to a lower dimension, in other
words, this world. This may be compared toa person reading a bookor
watching television because the paper or television are just like a
lower dimension for a person looking from the outside. A person looks
at these things from a higher dimension. Angels and other spiritual
entities watch us from a higher dimension. But since all dimensions
are interconnected, angels and spiritual beings can momentarily become
visible by descending from the fourth dimension to a lower one.
Angels come to this world when Allah so wishes to do things that He
wishes, and this shows that it is possible, by our Lord's leave, to
cross from one dimension to another. It is revealed in the Qur'an that
angels come down to Earth, by Allah's leave, to transmit His
revelation to people, to assist and support believers and do other
things of which Allah approves:
" In it the angels and the spirit descend by their Lord's authority
with every ordinance ." (Suratal-Qadr, 4)
The fact that by Allah's leave angels descend to Earth at various
times and return back into the presence of Allah does not, of course,
mean thatthey cease to exist according to our conceptions. They merely
cross from one dimension to another, and continue living outside our
understanding. In the same way, when people who die pass beyond our
understanding, or cross to the dimension of the hereafter, in
otherwords, they also continue their lives either in Paradise or Hell.
Allah Has Also Created Various Dimensions for Human Beings
- Our Dreams: The finest evidence of Allah's creation of various
dimensions for human beings is dreams. When a person goes to sleep he
enters a different dimension and environment. That new environment is
not the world he knows and is familiar with. But it is as real as the
phenomena and objects in the world he inhabits. The fact thatthis
world is in fact a dream, and that people wake up in the Hereafter, is
revealed in another verse:
" They will say, 'Alas for us! Who has raised us from our
resting-place? This is what the All-Merciful promised us. The
Messengers were telling the truth'." (SurahYa Sin, 52)
As in the verse Allah notes, the passage from this world to the
Hereafter takes place as quickly as that from dreaming to waking, and
people are unawareof that transition.
- Trance states: Waking out of a dream is not theonly way that people
change dimensions. One can pass from the third dimension to another
dimension in a state of trance. A trance, bestowed by Allah on rare
occasions on peoplesuch as messengers, religious scholars and guides,
resembles neither sleep nor wakefulness. Our Prophet (saas) spoke to
Gabriel (puuh) while in astate of trance. One can meet with Hazrat
Khidhir(pbuh) in that state. A trance is an extraordinary
dimensionthat Bediüzzaman Said Nursi often entered.
- The Rank of Martyrdom: Another verse indicatingthe existence of
other states of being outside the one people are familiar with
concerns the ranks and position of martyrs. One such verse reads:
" Do not say that those who are killed in the Way of Allah are dead.
On the contrary, they arealive but you are not aware of it." (Surat
al-Baqara, 154)
Allah has revealed that although martyrs appearto have died in our
terms, we must not referto them as dead. The verse reveals that
martyrs are alive, not dead, but that people cannot fully conceive how
this is. The words " ... but you are not awareof it.. ." indicate that
we cannot know and understand this situation under the conditions of
this world. (Allah alone knows the truth.) Other verses referring to
the situationof martyrs reveal that Allah gives them life in a very
different dimensionin which there is no timeand space:
" Do not suppose that those killed in the Way of Allah are dead. No
indeed! They are alive and well provided for in the very presence of
their Lord , delighting in the favor Allah has bestowed on them,
rejoicing over those theyleft behind who have not yet joined them,
feeling no fear and knowing no sorrow, rejoicing in blessings and
favor from Allah andthat Allah does not let the wage of the believers
go to waste." (Surat al-'Imran, 169-171)
As we have seen, martyrslive in a dimension unknown to other people.
In that dimension they are fed, feel joy and wish to sendnews of
themselves to those who come after them.
The fact that our Lord has created various dimensions and that it is
possible to pass betweenthem is revealed in another verse:
" You will mount up stage by stage!" (Surat al-Inshiqaq, 19)
Everything Is Over and Done in a Single Momentwith in the Sight of Allah
At the moment of death, a person passes from thedimension of this
world to a higher dimension, the Hereafter. Allah reveals in another
verse that one's perception is sharpened at the moment of death and
that one then passes on to the Hereafter, which is unending and far
more real than the life ofthis world:
" You were heedless of this so We have stripped you of your covering
and today your sight is sharp." (Surah Qaf, 22)
Another fact revealed by Allah in the Qur'an is the relative nature of
time. That relativity is highly variable. A period of time lasting
billions of years for us may last onlyone second in another dimension.
Indeed, such a long span of time as from the beginning of the universe
to the end may be just a single "moment" in another dimension. Allah
reveals this as follows in the Qur'an:
" A day with your Lord is equivalent to a thousandyears in the way you
count." (Surat al-Hajj, 47)
Here lies the essence of the reality of the location of Paradise and
Hell that most people failto completely grasp, andthat materialists
and people whose faith is weak deny out of that lack of comprehension.
"Things that have not happened" have not happened for us but Allah is
not fettered by time and space. Indeed, it is He Who created them. For
Allah, past, present and future are all one, and are all over and done
with. For that reason, Paradise, Hell and this world all exist atthis
moment in the sight of Allah, and eternal life has already begun. It
is clear from verses that Paradise, Hell and the Day of Reckoning are
already in existence from the way they are described as already being
over and done with:
" The Trumpet will be blown and those in the heavens and those in
theearth will all lose consciousness, except those Allah wills. Then it
will be blown a second time and at once they will be standing
upright,looking on." (Surat az-Zumar, 68)
" Those who are unbelievers will be driven to Hell in companies..."
(Surat az-Zumar, 71)
" And those who have piety of their Lord will be driven to the Garden
in companies..." (Surat az-Zumar, 73)
"... and will reward themfor their steadfastness with a Garden and
with silk. Reclining in it on couches, they will experience there
neitherburning sun nor bitter cold." (Surat al-Insan, 12-13)
Death Is Not the End for Man
In the Sight of Allah, the birth, life and death of a man takes place
and finishes simultaneously. The same reasoning applies to all human
beings. All human beingsare coming into existence and dying right at
this moment. All are being resurrected and being sent to Paradise or
Hell. Thus, noone dies and nobody is reduced to insignificance; all
individuals are alive for all eternity. Within eternity, man spends
only a portion of his time in the world, and during this period where
he is doomed to go—either Paradise or Hell—is known. Just at this
moment, some of the people currently living in this world are in
Paradise while others are in Hell. This fact is stressed in the
Qur'an; inmany verses relating to Paradise and Hell, the life in the
Hereafter is referred to in the simple present or past tense, which
draws one's attention to the fact thatall these incidents are taking
place at a single moment:
The Companions of the Garden are busy enjoying themselves today, they
and their wives reclining on couches in the shade. (Surah Ya Sin:
55-56)
Past, Present and Future; They are All the Same
In human life, another important mystery prevails. While mourning for
someone who has died, people donot consider that they, themselves,
have also died and even been resurrected. The birth and death of a
person occurs simultaneously. Even trivial details aboutall people's
lives, deaths, resurrections and eternal lives are retainedin the
Sight of Allah. In other words, everything is taking place right at
this moment. Death and resurrection are truly not incidents occurring
at distinct times. People are born in timelessness.Likewise, they die
in timelessness, they are resurrected in timelessness and, as a matter
of fact, just at thismoment, they are alive. At the moment Allah
creates man, he becomesan eternal being. To put it another way, he
starts his endless life, becoming alive for all eternity. Meanwhile,
he also witnesses his own death as a single square.Just as he sees
himself alive all through his life, he witnesses his death, but only
on one occasion.
In the Qur'an, Allah informs us that sleep is also created as a form
of death. Thus, every night one witnesses his death when he goes to
sleep and witnesses his resurrection when he wakes up in the morning.
This fact is manifested in the following verse:
Allah takes back people'sselves when their death arrives and those who
have not yet died, while they are asleep. He keeps hold of those whose
death has been decreed and sends the others back for a specified term.
There arecertainly Signs in that for people who reflect. (Surat
az-Zumar: 42)
Hence, man unceasingly witnesses his death and resurrection all
throughout his life. Similarly, he will also seehis real death.
Consequently, his birth, death and resurrection as well as his eternal
abode are all known, and man is forever alive in the Sight of Allah.
All these incidents have taken place and are finished in the Sight of
Allah.
Allah shows us that He has created a variety of dimensions. People
enter a new world and dimension through sleep. This world is another
dimension and form of life. The state of trance, a dimension lying
between sleep and this world that spiritual guides, religious scholars
and messengersenter from time to time, the dimension inhabitedby
martyrs, the dimension inhabited by angels, jinn and other spiritual
entities, and paradise and hell all exist at this very moment.
In the Sight of Allah, all events, which have occurred on earth so
far, take place at a single moment. For example, what our Prophet
(saas) went through has never been lost and will remain in the Sight
of Allah forever. These events are presented to our perception as if
theyhappened 1400 years ago. However, the truth is, right at this
moment, our Prophet Muhammad (saas) is ascending to heaven, right now,
he is taking refuge in the cave with his friend. Again, this is the
moment our Prophet (saas) is communicating the message of Allah to
disbelievers. Actually these are not events which occurred in the
past. On the contrary, they are incidents destined to exist for all
eternity. The reason whywe do not see, witness or experience these
events is simply because they are not present in our memory.
What we call "time" is in fact a method by which one moment is
compared to another. For example, when a person taps an object, he
hears a particular sound. If he taps the same object again five
minutes later, he hears another sound. Thinkingthere is an interval
between the two sounds, he calls this interval "time." Yet when he
hears the second sound, the first one he heard is no more than a
memory in his mind, merely a bit of information in his imagination. A
person formulates his perception of time by comparing the moment in
which he lives with what he holds in memory. If he doesn't make this
comparison, he can have no perception of time either. And this shows
that time is not an absolute reality, but merely a form of perception.

Al-Baatiniyyah: Their Principles and Beliefs-III

Examples of the deviated interpretations of Al-Baatiniyyah
It has previously been mentionedthat the belief of Al-Baatiniyyah
isbased on the distortion of the apparent meanings of the Quran and
Sunnah (Prophetic tradition) to other esoteric meanings. Amongst such
naïve distortions istheir claim that fornication does not mean the
illicit insertion of the male organ into the woman'svagina; rather, it
means putting the sperm of the hidden knowledge into the soul that has
not yet adopted their faith. Accordingly, they see no harm in
fornication.
They also claim that purification does not mean performing Wudhoo'
(ablution), but it meansrenouncing and purifying oneself from any
belief other than giving pledge to the Imaam. Moreover, they claim
that fasting does not mean abstaining from all that can break fasting
in a specific period, but it means abstaining from unveiling the
secret. As for Tawaaf (circumambulation) around the Sacred House seven
times, they said it means circumambulation around Muhammad and the
rest of the seven Imaams. They interpretthe five prayers as
indications to the four pillars and the Imaam. Consequently, there is
no need for performing those prayers thatMuslims perform.
Amongst the examples of their interpretations of the miracles of the
prophets are that they interpret the flood of Nooh (Nuh) as the flood
of knowledge that drowned those who adhere to the outer, exoteric
meaning ofthe Quran and Sunnah. As for the fire into which Ibraaheem
(Abraham) was thrown, it is just the anger of the Nimrod and not a
real fire. They also claimed that the Jinn of Sulaymaan (Solomon) were
in fact the Baatiniyyah of that age, and that the devils are
Ath-Dhaahiriyyah (i.e. those who oppose Al-Baatiniyyah), those to whom
the hard works are commissioned, and the like of their hallucinations
that make everyone laugh at them due to their naivety and foolishness.
Examples of the atrocities of Al-Baatiniyyah
If the discussion of the beliefs of Al-Baatiniyyah clarifies the
hiddenthoughts of that group, their practices against Muslims, when
they feel powerful, clearly show the hatred they harbor in their heart
towards Muslims. The following lines are just a reminder; the history
of Muslims with the Baatiniyyah is a bloody one. We will not list all
of their atrocities against Muslims, as a few will suffice.
The most notorious and atrocious incident that afflicted Muslims in
their most sacred places and during their best days at the hands of
Al-Baatiniyyah and at the hands of the worst and most wicked man was
what Al-Haafidh Ibn Katheer mentioned in his book Al-Bidaayah
wan-Nihaayah,
"In 317 A.H., a caravan of Iraqi pilgrims set out to Makkah under the
leadership of Mansoor Ad-Daylami. They arrived peacefully. Many other
caravans arrived from everywhere. All of a sudden, they were attacked
by the Qaramati and his group on the day of At-Tarwiyyah (8th of
Thul-Hijjah). He plundered their money and killed them. He massacred
pilgrims in the streetsand paths of Makkah, in Al-Masjid Al-Haraam and
even in the Ka'bahitself. Then their leader Abu Taahir, may Allaah
curse him, sat before the doors of the Ka'bah and said while the
people were being killed around him, 'I am forAllaah and with Allaah.
I am, I am, I give life to people and inflict death upon them.'
"People were running away from them and seeking protection in the
cloth that covers the Ka'bah but to no avail. They were killed while
they were in that state and while they were performing Tawaaf. When
Al-Qarmati, may Allaah curse him, finished his mission and committed
atrocitiesagainst the pilgrims, he ordered that the dead bodies be
buried inthe well of Zamzam, while many of them were buried in their
places in Al-Haram. They were neither washed nor shrouded, nor was the
funeral prayer offered for them because they were martyrs and also in
the state of Ihraam. He destroyed thedome of the well of Zamzam,
ordered that the Ka'bah be eradicated and its Kiswah (covers) to be
taken off. He and his followers tore the Kiswah. He also ordered a man
to mount theKa'bah and remove its Meezaab (drain pipe of the Ka'bah's
roof) but that man fell on his head anddied to enter the Hellfire.
"At that point, he left the Meezaab and ordered that the black stone
be removed from its place. A man came to it and hit it with heavy
metal in his hand and said, 'Where are the successive groups of birds,
where are the hard and solid stones?' (This is in reference to the way
Abrahah, who had tried to attack the Ka'bah earlier in history,
perished) and removed it from itsplace and carried it to their
country. It remained in their possession for 22 years until they
returned it in 339 A.H. Indeed we belong to Allaah, and indeed to Him
we will return."

Al-Baatiniyyah: Their Principles and Beliefs-II

The beliefs of Al-Baatiniyyah
The beliefs of Al-Baatiniyyah are hidden as their name indicates.
However, their doctrine and beliefs became known, although they were
very keen on hiding them, via those who embraced Islam from them.
However, they deny such beliefs. They show the adherents of other
faiths what they (the people of those faiths) like and favor. Thus, if
they meet Christians, they show that they believe in the Trinity and
assure them of the divinity of 'Eesa (Jesus) . If they meet Jews, they
show their hatred for Muslims and Christians. If they meet an ascetic
person, they show asceticism and aversion to the world and its people.
In fact, they disguise themselves in the beliefs of every group they
live among until people have trust in them. When this point is
reached, they start spreading their malicious allegations among them
and invite them to adopt their beliefs and disclose to themtheir
doctrines, after taking all measures to ensure that they willnever
renounce their belief.
Their Beliefs
1. Claiming that there are two eternal gods who have existed since
time immemorial and that their existence has no beginning. However,
one of them is the cause of the existence of the other. The cause (the
god who assumed creation) is the first godand the effect (the created
god) is the latter. The first is the creator with the help of the
latter, not independently by himself. Such belief was taken from
disbelieving groups such as the Dualists and the Magians, who believe
that there are two gods: the god of light and the god of darkness.
They (Al-Baatiniyyah) only changed their names.
2. They believe that the Prophet is an ordinary person upon whom a
sacred power was sent down by the first (god) through the help of the
latter (god).
3. They believe that the Quran is just an expression of the Prophet
about the knowledge sent down to him and that calling it 'the Speech
of Allaah' is only a figure of speech.
4. They also believe that every ageshould have an infallible Imaam who
supports the truth, interprets phenomena, and clarifies the ambiguity
of the Noble Quran, Prophetic narrations and matters related toreason.
They all agreed that the Imaam is exactly like the Prophet in relation
to infallibility and knowing the facts of every matter; however, he
receives no revelation. But he obtains such knowledge from the Prophet
because he is his successor and has the same status. They believethat
every age has to have its Imaam.
5. Furthermore, they believe that every prophetic Sharee'ah has a
specific period. When it ends, Allaah The Almighty sends another
prophet to abrogate the Sharee'ah of the previous prophet. Every
Sharee'ah lasts for seven centuries. So they claim that the Sharee'ah
of the Prophet was abrogated by the comingof the seventh Imaam Ja'far
ibn Muhammad.
6. Al-Baatiniyyah agree upon denying the Day of Resurrection and that
the witnessed system ofthe worldly life such as the alternation of day
and night, reproduction of human beings from sperm, reproduction of
plants, and reproduction of animals cannot be destroyed by time. They
also believe that the heavens and the earth cannot be destroyed. They
said about the Day of Resurrection that it symbolizes the appearance
of theImaam and the beginning of a new phase of life by the appearance
of the seventh Imaam who will abrogate the previous Sharee'ahs and who
willchange everything.
7. They deny the existence of Paradise and Hellfire. They also claimed
that the meaning of 'the appointed return' is that everything will
return to its original state, and that man is composed of two
entities: spiritual and material. The material entity will be
dissolved to what it was composed of and return to its original state.
That isthe appointed return of the body.As for that of the soul, if it
is righteous – according to them – it will unite after leaving the
bodywith the spiritual world from which it has separated before and
that will achieve happiness for it. However, the evil one will remain
eternally in the material world, transfer from one body to another and
thus it will suffer from pains and illnesses forever. Whenever it
leaves a body, another body will receive it. This, in fact, is the
essential part of thebelief of Brahmanic Hinduism.
8. They also believe in absolute permissiveness and renouncing all
obligations of religion. They believe that such obligations are like
the chains and burdens from which they have been released because of
following the infallibleImaam.
9. Some of them believe in the divinity of 'Ali ibn Abi Taalib . They
claim that he appeared in a human form to put his creation at ease.

Al-Baatiniyyah: Their Principles and Beliefs-I

Al-Baghdaadi said in Al-Farq bayn Al-Firaq, "You, may Allaah please
you, should know that theeffect of Al-Baatiniyyah is more adverse and
harmful on all Muslim groups than that of the Jews, Christians and
Magians. Rather, it is more destructive than Ad-Dahriyyah and all the
other sects of disbelievers." Al-Baatiniyyah is not an Islamic sect or
an Islamic school of thought. Rather, it is a methodology, with which
its founders aim to undermine the religion of Islam and invalidate its
beliefs and the Sharee'ah (Islamic law), as Imaam Al-Ghazaali
mentioned in his book Fadhaa'ih Al-Baatiniyyah.
The Emergence of Al-Baatiniyyah
Researchers hold different opinions regarding the time of the birth of
Al-Baatiniyyah. However, it is a justifiable difference, because the
principlesof their sect dictate hiding their beliefs and ideas. They
take promises and oaths from those who adopt their belief not to
disclose any part of it. They regard that principle as one of the
basics of their religion and itspillars that should be maintained and
not to be breached. The viewof Imaam As-Suyooti is that the first
appearance of Al-Baatiniyyah was in 92 A.H. Some others believe that
their appearance was in 205 A.H. while others say that it was 250 A.H.
There are some who believe that it appeared in 276 A.H., when their
leader Maymoon Al-Qaddaahfounded the sect.
The names of Al-Baatiniyyah
The names of Al-Baatiniyyah represent the descriptions of their
characteristics and there is a specific reason behind every name.
Amongst their names are:
1. Al-Baatiniyyah (the Esoterics):
They were named so for they claimed that there is an inner, esoteric
level of meaning of the Noble Quran and the Hadeeths (narrations) of
the Prophet in addition to the outer, exoteric level of meaning like
the core andthe skin of everything. Such inner esoteric meanings act
as symbolsand indications to specific facts and the mind that cannot
probe such secrets and inner meanings will be afflicted by 'burdens
and shackles' which mean, according to them, the religious
obligationsfrom which only the one who realizes the inner esoteric
meanings will be released.
2. Al-Qaraamitah (Qarmatians):
They were given this name after aman called Hamdaan Qarmat. He was one
of their callers and leaders, so his followers were named after him
Qaraamitah and Qarmatiyyah.
3. Al-Khurramiyyah:
They were given this name from the root word 'Khurram' which isa
non-Arabic word that means 'a good thing, which makes one feel happy
and excited whenever he sees it'. This title indicates the essence and
the core of their doctrine. It suggests transgressing the obligations,
easing the burdens of the rulings of religion for the worshipers,
giving the green light for people to follow different kinds of
pleasures and follow their desiresand lusts, enjoying all that is
allowed and forbidden. Perhaps they were named as such because of the
reasons that will be mentioned later while discussing the title of
"Al-Baabakiyyah".
4. Al-Baabakiyyah:
They were thus named after one of their leaders and tyrants, whose
name was Baabak Al-Khurrami. He appeared in 201 A.H. in Azerbaijan. He
was an atheist who fought the Muslim armies and defeated them. Thus,
he became wicked and tyrannical, spreading great fear among the people.
He ruled for twenty years causing mischief on the earth and killing an
estimated 255, 500 people. Whenever he heard that someone had an
attractive daughter or sister, he asked him for her. If she was not
sent to him, he would take her by force. He brutally routed the Muslim
armies, destroying and scatteringthem.
Then Allaah The Almighty decreedhis total destruction. Caliph
Al-Mu'tasim Billaah sent his armies to fight him and they defeated him
and his followers. They arrested Baabak and crucified him. Thus, his
followers dispersed and scattered everywhere. Historians mention that
there is still a group of Al-Baabakiyyah and they have a night in
which they all gather with their men and women and extinguish their
lights and candles. Then every man jumps on a woman to amuse himself.
They claim that whoever capturesa woman then she is lawful for him by
hunting.
5. Ismaa'eeliyyah:
They were given this name after Ismaa'eel Al-A'araj (the Lame), the
son of Ja'far As-Saadiq, who they claimed was their Imaam. They also
believe that he is the last heir of the imamate because he was the
seventh Imaam after Muhammad .
.
6. Al-Muhammirah:
They were named so because they dyed their clothes red (In Arabic,
'Ahmar' means red) during the time of Baabak Al-Khurrami. They wore
red clothes and it became their symbol. It was also said that theywere
named thus because they claimed that all other groups that do not
agree with them and the people of truth are Hameer (donkeys).
7. At-Ta'leemiyyah:
They were named so because their belief is based on invalidating
reasoning and ignoring the action of the mind and calling all creation
to learn from the infallible Imaam and that it is impossible for
anyone toattain knowledge except throughhim.

Dought & clear - , Ruling on buying clothing and other itemsduring kaafir festivals in order to benefit from discounts on prices during the Christmas season

In Australia during christmas there are hugediscounts on things like
clothing, furniture, electronics etc. is it permisible to shop to
getthis discount which is generally not available during other part of
the year?.
Praise be to Allaah.
There is nothing wrong with buying clothing, furniture and so on
during the seasons of kaafir festivals such as Christmas, on condition
that one does not buy things that are used to celebrate the festival
or to imitate the kuffaar during their festivals.
In the answer to question no. 69558 it was stated that it is
permissible for the Muslim to open his business during the daysof
kaafir festivals, subject to two conditions:
(i) that he does not sell them things that they use for
sinful purposes or to celebrate their festival
(ii) that he does not sell to Muslims thingsthat they may
use to imitate the kuffaar during these festivals.
Buying items that one needs is much less serious than selling or
opening one's business, and the basic principle isthat it is
permissible to buy things, and the fact that it happens at the time of
their festival does not matter.
And Allah knows best.

Dought & clear - Is it permissible to delay giving zakaah until the rent is due from the poor person so that it may be paid with zakaah?

Please note that my zakaah is due in Ramadan. Is it acceptable for me
to give it in the month of Hajj (Dhu'l-Hijjah) or Muharram, because
there are families who are in great need and their rent becomes due in
the months after Ramadan; if I give them the zakaah (before that) they
will spend it, then they will be borrowing money all year. Please note
that I took it out of my wallet and put it in an envelope on which is
written their names and mobile phone numbers. Then when their rent is
due, I will give it to them.
Praise be to Allaah.
It is not permissible to delay paying zakaah from the time when it
becomes due for the onefor whom it is obligatory, as we have explained
in the answer to question no. 67578 . What you have mentioned is not
an excuse for delaying it when there are so many people who are
entitled to it in Muslim countries.
If you think that these families are more deserving than others
ofreceiving your zakaah, then there is nothing wrong with you giving
the rent before it becomes due, if you think it most likely that they
will be staying in the same house or, if they move, they will not lose
the money. Giving itahead of time may be a cause of reducing some of
the rent for them.
It is also possible to pay some of the zakaah for the coming year in
advance in the month of Muharram, and to pay the rent that is due on
time, from the zakaah on your wealth. Then you can subtract what you
already paid from next year's zakaah. See the answer to question no.
98528
You can also pay the renton these families' homesdirectly to the
landlord, because when the rent becomes due, the renter is then in
debt; in that case it is permissible to give the money directly to the
one to whom the debt is owed.

Islamic Stories - , Splitting of the Moon an Amazing Story

In a TV interview with the Egyptian Geologist Dr. Zaghloul Annajar,
theanchor asked him about the verse:
"The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the
people of Makkah requested Prophet Muhammad [PBUH] to show them a
miracle, so he showed them the splitting of the moon)." (Quran 54:1)
whether it contains any Quranic scientific astounding facts?
Dr. Zaghloul answered saying that he has a story to tell about this verse.
He started explaining that at a time he delivered a lecture at Cardiff
University in the West of Britain. The attendees included both Muslims
and non-Muslims. A vital dialogue was taking place around scientific
facts included in the Noble Quran. During the course of the lecture, a
Muslim young man stoodasking me, Sir Do you see in the Saying of Al
Haq Tabarak wa Ta`ala (Allah the Truth) may He be Exalted - and he
referred to the above mentioned verse - any indication to the
scientific facts included in the Quran? Dr. Najjar answered: No
because scientific astounding discoveries are interpreted through
science whereas a miracle is something supernatural, which maynot be
interpreted through the usual. The splitting of the moon is amiracle,
which happened to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in order to prove his
prophecy. Tangible miracles are only a testimony of truth for those
who witnessed it. It is only that the incident was mentioned in Quran
and Prophet's Sunnah that made us believe other wise we Muslims of
this era would have never believed in it. In addition that we know for
sure that Allah is most capable of anything. At that point Dr.
Zaghloul narrated the story of moon splitting as included in Sunnah
books.
He said, Sunnah books tell that five years beforethe immigration of
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from Mecca to Medina, a group of people from
the tribe of Quraish came challenging him saying: Oh Muhammad if you
were really a Prophet and a Messenger bring to us a miracle to
establish this fact. So he asked them what do youwant? They said in an
effort to complicate matters for him: split themoon for us. The
Messenger of ALLAH (PBUH) stood supplicating to Allah to support him
and grant him victory in this hard situation. Allah may He be Exalted
inspired him to sign towards the moon with his finger. Immediately,
the moon cleft into two parts standing far from each other for several
hours then cling back together. The pagans started claiming: Oh
Muhammad (PBUH) practiced witchcraft on us.
At this point some of the wise men explained thatmagic would only
affect the attendees whereas itcan not maintain influence on everybody
in general. They waited for travelers who were coming back from their
journeys. The pagans harried up to the borders of Mecca in
anticipation to meet the travelers. When the first arrivals appeared,
they asked them did you see anything extraordinary happened to the
moon? The travelers answered yes on the night (X) we saw the moon
splitting into two parts which remained asunder for sometime then
reattached. Upon this statement, a number of the group believed while
the rest remained pagans. Therefore, the verse explains "The Hourhas
drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the people of Makkah
requested Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to show them a miracle, so he showed
them the splitting of the moon). * And if they see a sign, they turn
away, and say: This is continuous magic. *Theybelied the Verses of
Allah- this Quran), and followed their own lusts. And every matter will
be settled according to the kind of deeds: good deeds will take their
doers to Paradise and similarly evil deeds will take their doers to
Hell." (Quran 54:1-3) until the end of the verses which were revealed
in this regard.
Dr. Najjar continued thatat this point a British Muslim young man
introduced himself as Daoud Moussa Peetcock head of the British
Islamic Party. He carried on saying sir if you allowme I would like to
add on this issue? I said please do. He explained saying: At the time
whenI was searching in religions (before he embraced Islam), a Muslim
student gave me as a present the translation of the meaning of Quran.
I thanked him and took it home. The first Surat I came across when I
opened the book, it was Chapter of the Moon I read "has drawn near,
and the moon has been cleft asunder". I said to myself, is this
statement logical? Is it possible for the moon to split and then
reattach what kind of power may cause this? The man explained that
this verse made me reluctant to continue reading. I became busy with
my life, yet ALLAH of course Knows how sincere I was about finding the
truth.
So,one day ALLAH made me sit to watch TV. It was a talk show between a
British commentator and three American astronautics specialists. The
show host was blaming the scientists for spending thriftily over space
trips at a time when earth is suffering hunger, poverty, diseasesand
backwardness. He was telling them, it would have been more feasible to
allocate this kind of money for reconstruction of earth. To this
argument, the three men answered defending their positionthat such
technology is widely applied in many wakes of life such as medicine,
industry and agriculture. They added that the money is never wasted
but it rather supported the development of highly advanced technology.
During their dialogue, they mentioned the trip in which a man landed
on the moon surface as it consumes the the largest cost which comesto
more than US$100.000.000.000. The British TV anchor screamed saying
what kind of thrift is this? A hundred thousand million dollars just
to plant the American flag on the moon surface? They answered no; the
objective was not to plant the American flag but rather to study the
interior composition of the moon. We actually came to a finding that
would cost us double folds of this amount for people to believe and
yet they will never believe. The show host inquired what is this fact?
They replied: One day this moon was split and then reattached. The
show host again probed: how did you realize that? The scientists
responded about finding a belt of transformed rocks cutting the moon
from its surface to core and then to the surface again. The stated
saying:we consulted with earth scientists and geologists who explained
that suchphenomenon would never occur unless this moon one day split
and then reattached.
The British Muslim man said: I jumped out of my chair saying ALLAH
(SWT)forced the Americans to spend more than a hundred billion dollars
to prove to Muslims a a miracle that took place 1400 years ago for
Mohamed (PBUH)? This religion must be the truth. He added: I went back
to the Quran and recited Surat Al Qamar, which was my gate for
accepting Islam.
