land' is a fraud
Even the discovery of a living dinosaur would have been less
surprising. Because fossils show that the coelacanth existed 150-200
million years before the appearance of the dinosaurs. The creature put
forward by many scientists as the ancestor of land-dwelling
vertebrates, believed to have disappeared at least 70 million years
ago, had been found! 1
These words from a Darwinist, in the April 2003 issue of Focus
magazine, describe the astonishment at the discovery of a living
Coelacanth ( Latimeria chalumnae ), for years portrayed as a
transitional form, in today's waters. Prior to 1938, Darwinists had
made countless claims about the fossil Coelacanth, interpreting its
fins as "legs about to start walking" and a fossilized oil sac as "a
primitive lung." With all this speculation about the fossil, they
suggested that they had discovered a missing link.
The capture of a living Coelacanth at such a time came as a terrible
disappointment to Darwinists. This and more than 200 other living
Coelacanths, the latest of which was caught in May 2007, totally
discredited all theDarwinist conjecture about the fossils. It was
realized that the Coelacanth was an exceedingly complex and highly
developed bottom-dwelling fish, about 150 cm in length. In addition,
the animals showed no sign of change over 450 million years. To put it
another way, its complexity today is the same as it was 450 million
years in the past.
Following the scientific realization of all this, theCoelacanth
assumed its place as an example of a living fossil and all the claims
about its being a transitional form were withdrawn. Darwinists lost
yet another fossil they had speculated about so much. Had this animal
not been found today's seas, then, just aswith Archaeopteryx , there
would have been no end to the Darwinist speculation regarding it.It
would still be depictedas the greatest representative of the passage
from water to land, and there would be thousands of pieces of
conjecture about it being AS IF THE UNQUESTIONABLE FINEST TRANSITIONAL
FORM. And Darwinists would also bemaking attempts those saying that
the animal is not a transitional form, but rather a perfect marine
organism. Just asis happening with all theother transitional form
claims now.
But the fact is that those who wish to deceive others with no
scientific basis will never achieve their ends. As our Lord says in a
verse:
Do not mix up truth withfalsehood and knowingly hide the truth. (Surat

Sayings from Bediuzzaman Said Nursi referring to the dajjal's deception of the world through Darwinism
1. From the three duties of Hazrat Mahdi (as) First: "Since science
and philosophy are now dominant and the plague of materialism and
naturalism has spread among mankind, before everything belief should
be saved in such a way that it silences philosophy and materialism . …
preserving the people ofbelief from misguidance" (Emirdag Addendum,
p.266)
Bediuzzaman Said Nursi stated that the first duty of Hazrat Mahdi (as)
was the intellectual elimination of Darwinism, materialism and
atheism. The fact that, as Bediuzzaman describes, Hazrat Mahdi (as)
will perform this task "before everything"reveals that Darwinism isthe
most important corruption of the dajjal. Bediuzzaman says that the
dajjal will disseminate Darwinism "using science and philosophy." The
dajjal will spread Darwinism by way of science and philosophy in order
to turn people away from belief in Allah and to cause disorder and
anarchy to rule the world. But Hazrat Mahdi(as) will wage an
intellectual struggle and smash the false idol of the dajjal that is
Darwinism in order to ensure the rule of Islamic moral values and to
bring peace, security and justice to the world. Intellectually, he
will totally silence Darwinismand materialism.
2. . Also, since the strange circumstances and fearsome activities of
the dajjal's regime, and the covert organization and government that
he founds, have been narrated as referring to his person, their true
meaning has remained obscure. For example, "He will be so powerful and
long-lived that only the Prophet Jesus (as) will be able to kill him
(his intellectual system); nothing else will be able to." That is, it
will only be revealed elevated, pure religion that will beable to
overturn his way and rapacious regime …. Such a religion will emerge
among the true followers of the Ptophet Jesus (as), and it will follow
the Qur'an and become united with it. On the coming of the Prophet
Jesus (as) and emergence of the true Christian religion, the dajjal's
irreligious way (intellectual system) will be wiped out and will
cease. The dajjal's personcould otherwise be killed by a mere germ or
by influenza. (The Fifth Ray, Fifth Point)
What Bediuzzaman is referring to in this passage is the rapacious, that
is destructive, bloodthirsty regime of the dajjal, Darwinism, that
brings with it disorder and conflict. Bediuzzaman states that
Darwinism will spread asan intellectual system, will turn into a
heretical religion and will turn people away from belief in Allah by
deceiving them. Today the heretical ideology of Darwinism has been
spread across the world by the system of the dajjal, atheistic
freemasonry, and has become a false religion. In the face of that
danger, the important thing is the total elimination of the dajjal's
heretical system. Bediuzzaman says that a single germ can destroy the
dajjal's person, but that the real danger is the Darwinist
intellectualsystem he disseminates. Darwin, Marx, Stalin, Lenin,
Trotsky, Malthus, Hitler and other such Darwinists, all of whom have
espoused and advanced Darwinist and materialist ideas, have died from
the very simplest of causes and thus left their deceptive ideologies
behind them. The important thing is the demolition, with full
scientific proofs, of a heretical ideology, in other words Darwinism,
that allows the survival of the system of the dajjal atheistic masonic
rule and encourages people toward irreligionand immorality.
3. . Materialism is a spiritual plague which has infected man with a
fearsome fever, causing him to be visited by Divine wrath. The more
the ability to inculcate and criticize expands, so does that plague
spread.(Letters, Seeds of Reality,p. 553)
Bediuzzaman says that Darwinism, the heretical ideological system of
thedajjal, will grow like a plague under the persuasion and
indoctrination of the dajjal and spread right across the world.
Darwinist propaganda isconstantly being produced by one sectionof the
press that is monopolized by atheistic freemasonry and dominates the
world. And this terrible deception is constantly being advanced by way
of atheistic masonic publications. The reason why so many people
ignorantly sign up to Darwinism is not scholarly evidence, but rather
the intense indoctrination by atheistic masonic publications. In order
forthe ideological system ofthe dajjal to be brought down, this false
indoctrination must be eliminated and this massdeception exposed. When
the world is shown the evidence thatrepudiates Darwinism and the
deception at theheart of this heretical ideology is revealed, the
ideology will be defeated.
4. A tyrannical current born of naturalist and materialist philosophy
will gradually become strong and spread at theend of time by means of
materialist philosophy, reaching such a degree that it denies Allah.
(Letters)
Darwinism is an atheist ideology. It openly denies the existence of
Allah. It even seeks to mislead people by allegedly ascribing divine
status to blind chance. (Surely Allah is beyond that.) This is one of
the main characteristics of the dajjal set out in the hadith. The
dajjal will approach people in the name of Allah, and will then claim
to be a prophet, after which he will even say that he is divine.
(Surely Allah is beyond that.) Darwinism, atheistic freemasonry's
weapon, is currently in just that position. Darwinism is a heretical
faith that leads people to deny Allah andattributes divinity to blind
chance. The main aim of the Darwinist indoctrination carried across
the world through atheist masonic publications is to turn people away
from belief in Allah. That is why it is so misleading to describe
Darwinism, which represents the foundation of the systemof the dajjal,
as just an ordinary theory. Darwinism is the greatest weapon in the
hands of the dajjal, who leads people to denial, and it must be
destroyedcompletely, from the roots. Hazrat Mahdi (as) will discharge
that duty, and silence and intellectually destroy Darwinism.
5. One interpretation must be as follows: it is an allusion and sign
thatquantitively the spiritualcommunity of mujahidên (intellectual
strugglers) who will recognize the Prophet Jesus (as) and follow him,
will be very few and small comparatively to the 'scientific', physical
armies of the dajjal. (The Rays / The Fifth Ray - Second Station -
p.110)
Bediuzzaman's referenceto "the 'scientific', physical armies of
thedajjal" indicates that his intellectual struggle will employ
science and philosophy, for which reason the counter-attack against
him must also be an intellectual one. There must be a powerful,
scholarly campaign against Darwinism, which atheistic freemasonry, the
system of the dajjal, has spread across the world, until that terrible
corruption and deception is brought down. No matter how few their
numbers against the hordes of the dajjal, since believers are the
supporters of Allah they will inevitably be victorious and with the
coming of the Prophet Jesus (as) and Hazrat Mahdi (as) will defeat
this cunning stratagem of the dajjal.
6 . . Moreover, in the world of humanity, the secret society of the
dajjal will overturn civilization and subvert all mankind's sacred
matters, with the intention of denying theGodhead. A zealous and
self-sacrificing community known as a Christian community but worhy of
being called"Muslim Christians," will work to unite the true religion
of the Prophet Jesus (as) with the realityof Islam, and will
[intellectually] kill and rout that society of the dajjal, thus saving
humanity from atheism. (Letters / Twenty - Ninth Letter - Seventh
Section -p.516)
The committee of the dajjal described by Bediuzzaman is a heretical
one set up by atheist masons in order to lead the way in the spread of
Darwinist ideology. Fascist, communist and Darwinist leaders such
asDarwin, Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Trotsky, Engels, Hitler and Mao were
all atheist masons, and eachwas charged with spreading Darwinist
ideology and oppressingpeople by the use of thatperverted dogma. Each
one's aim was to distance whole societies from belief in Allah and
lead them in the direction of atheism. Theworld has been in tumult
right through theperiod in which the committee of the dajjal has been
active, world wars have led to the deaths of millions and mankind
suffered the worst persecution and slaughter in the history of the
world. As Bediuzzaman says, and with Allah's leave, with the coming to
Earth of the Prophet Jesus (as) and Hazrat Mahdi (as), Christians will
make an alliance with Muslims and this powerful and devout community
will strive as one against the dajjal. With the coming to Earth of
the Prophet Jesus (as) and Hazrat Mahdi (as), the Darwinistideology
imposed by thecommittee of the dajjal will be utterly silenced, and
the dajjal's deceptive intellectual system will be destroyed.
7. The dajjal is superficially like a human being. But he is arrogant
and pharaohlike and has forgotten Allah, so is a foolish satan and
intriguing man who callshis superficial, tyrannicalrule godhead. But
his huge current of atheism, his collective personality,is truly vast.
The awesome descriptions ofthe dajjal in the narrations allude to
that.( Letters / Fifteenth Letter - p.80)
The dajjal resembles any ordinary person. As described by Bediuzzaman
the dajjal is an unintelligent devil who is full of pride, aspires to
divine status (surely Allah is beyond that) and has a deceptive
appearance. The dangerous things and what really needs tobe suppressed
is the heretical ideological system that accompanieshim. That
ideological system, Darwinism, and atheistic freemasonry, the system
of the dajjal, lead people toward irreligion, disseminate heretical
ideas and achieve devilish aims by devilish methods. In this way,
schools have been turned into hotbeds of Darwinism. Darwinist
indoctrination has led tothe emergence of an anarchist, communist,
atheist, Darwinist, Marxist, Leninist, fascist and satanist youth. The
result is a younger generation who have turned away from belief in
Allah, who attach no importance to spiritual values, who seek pleasure
above all, and who are degenerate andaimless. Oppression in the world
has risen, people are aggressive toward one another, slaughter has
increased and the world is in a state of disorder. These things are
the results of Darwinism the ideological system launched by atheistic
freemasonry, the system of the dajjal. It is this mendacious
ideological system that now rules the world and that has to be
eliminated and destroyed.
8. It says in a narration: "The day the dajjal appears all the world
will hear. He will travel the world in forty days...."
Allah knows best, on condition such narrations are completely sound,
they miraculously predict thatin the time of the dajjal, the means of
communication and travel will have so advanced that an event will be
heard by all the world in a day. It will be shouted out by the
radioand will be heard in eastand west, and will be read about in all
the newspapers. One man will travel the whole world in forty days and
see the seven continents and seventy countries. These narrations thus
miraculously foretold the telegraph, telephone, radio, railway, and
aeroplane ten centuries before they appeared. Moreover, the dajjal
will be heard not in his capacity as the dajjal, but as a despotic
king (dictator). And his travelling everywhere will not be to occupy
those places, but to create dissension and to seduce people away from
the right path. (TheRays / The Fifth Ray - Second Station - p.111)
Atheistic freemasonry, the system of the dajjal, has spread Darwinism
toall mankind through the propaganda of the media, one part of which
it monopolizes entirely. Although Darwinism is a complete deception,
it has becomefamiliar to the whole world through the activities of the
atheistic masonic media, and although it is a deception, it has
becomeacceptable to almost the entire world. Through atheistic masonic
techniques, the worst deception in the history of the world has
suddenly entered schools and many military bases and now rules the
world. So muchso that this heretical belief is immune to any
objections or opposition, and is protected under national laws.
Because the dajjal has spread his corruption everywhere in the most
effective way, a way thatreaches everyone, has intellectually placed
the world under his sway and made his corruptionsovereign without
people even being aware of it. He has instilled this corruption
everywhere and then ensured that it is protected. The atheistic
masonic powers at the head of the system of the dajjal use all
possibleforms of imposition and despotism to ensure the world dominion
of this mass deception. But the corruption of the dajjal will of
course be eliminated with the coming of the Prophet Jesus (as) and
Hazrat Mahdi (as) in the End Times.
9. FIFTH MATTER : There is a narration: "At the end of time, certain
persons such as the dajjal will claim godhead and forceothers to
prostrate before them ."
Allah knows best, an interpretation is this: just as a nomad
chieftainwho denies the king imagines in himself and in other
chieftains a small rulership proportionate to their power; so those
who come to lead the school of naturalists and materialists, imagine
in themselves a sort of lordship proportionate to their power, and to
demonstrate their power, make their subjects bow down worshipfully
before themselves and their statues, and incline theirheads. (The Rays
/ The Fifth Ray - Second Station - p.105 )
10. Dajjal-like genius, blind in one eye, sees only the domain of this
life; it is materialist and worships this world. It turns men into
beasts .
Yes, deaf genius worships nature, it empowers blind force. But
guidance recognizesconscious art and looks to purposeful power. Genius
draws a curtain of ingratitude over the earth; guidance scatters the
light of thanks. (The Words / Gleams - p.749)
Atheist masons, who spread the system of the dajjal, have made
Darwinism, which they employ as a weapon, a heretical faith by
disseminating it across the world. In this way the dajjal has
literally deified himself (Surely Allah is beyond that) andby using
Darwinism to dominate people's brains he has effectively turned a
great mass of people into a monster. Even devout people are affected.
They seek to set Christians, Jews and Muslims against one another and
incite division and discord among them. In this way, the dajjal turns
some people into his own supporters. He thus aims to prevent believers
coming together and strengthening one another and eliminating the
pressure initiated by the dajjal. Through that deception, the dajjal
wants some believers to become involved in an artificial struggle
againstone another and to strengthen and maintainhis own rule at the
same time.
As also suggested by Bediuzzaman, freemasonry, the system of the
dajjal, will begin to take over schools and some barracks by the
deceptive use of scientific techniques. And he has succeeded in that.
Indeed, following schools, the dajjal did enter military
establishments and lead people toward disaster by cunning and
misleading methods. People influenced by thestratagems of the dajjal
there turned into soldiers of the dajjal who brought oppressionto the
world. The dajjal used these people to create an oppressive
andruthless system in the military establishments concerned. Darwinist
leaders such as Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin and Maowere the soldiers of
this heretical system of the dajjal, or atheistic freemasonry. In
their time, shedding blood and killing the innocent was regarded as
perfectly normal by everyone. Because of thecorruption of the dajjal,
mosques in Iraq have been bombed and Muslims martyred while
worshiping. Young children are shot in the heads in Palestine. People
are shot in the face when they open their doors. Hundreds of people in
East Turkestan have been executed, in violation of international law,
without being permitteda legal defense, and thousands recently
disappeared in a single night. People in many countries are shot as
soon as they open their doors, before they can utter a single word.
Maternity clinics and hospitals in Afghanistan are frequently bombed.
As a result of the intense indoctrination and training by the dajjal,
many armies today, suchas the Chinese and Russian armies, now bloodily
attack religious moral values within their chains of command, even
though individually their members are good people and would never
normally behave in a cruel manner. Many armies have become part of
this ruthless system. The reason why repression is so widespread is
that Darwinist indoctrinationhas become regarded as normal and can
easily beimplemented. That is because all those engaged in this
cruelty have received a Darwinist education. Under the influence of
Darwinism, these peoplehave become bloodthirsty Darwinist monsters who
follow theorders of high-ranking atheist masons. These are not their
real ideas, but under the influence of atheistic freemasonry,or the
system of the dajjal, they have becomepart of this bloody system.
Those pulling their strings are the atheist masons, the armyof the
dajjal, who spreadDarwinism across the world. Using mass psychology,
the dajjal can easily enforce his oppression by employing the atheist
freemasons. Under the influence of these atheistic masonic leasers,
troops in many parts of the world have learned repression and
bloodshed and become cruel and merciless. Onlythe heroic Turkish Army
and a few others have remained unsullied by this corruption. The
devout Turkish Army has been spared this contagion, and as a result of
its profound faith has never been taken in by the corruption of the
dajjal.
These people, who are good as individuals but who under atheistic
masonic indoctrination have become ruthless and destructive, are proof
of the danger represented by Darwinism, the corruption of the dajjal
that the atheist freemasons are spreading across the world. As
Bediuzzaman says, atheist freemasonry, which has taken command of the
cult of Darwinism and materialism, has initiated the worst corruption
in the world and propelled people toward it. By Allah's leave, the
time of the Prophet Jesus (as) and Hazrat Mahdi (as) will be one of
peace and ease, when the earth is purged of this corruption and all
believers can worship in peace.
11. There is a narration: "The Sufyan will be an eminent scholar; he
will fall into misguidance through his learning. Numerous other
scholarswill follow him ." The knowledge is with Allah, an
interpretation is this: although he has no means of sovereignty such
as strength and power, tribes and peoples, courage and riches, like a
king, he will win that position through his cleverness, science, and
political acumen, and through hisintelligence he will bewitch the
minds of many other scholars, making them dictate his wishes. He will
attract numerous teachers to support him, and pointing out to them
theway to an education system stripped of religious instruction,
willwork for its widespread enforcement. (The Rays / The Fifth Ray -
Second Station - p.106)
The corruption of the dajjal is very sly. The system of the dajjal,
atheistic freemasonry, has portrayed Darwinism as acceptable, and
through this corruption it has enfolded the whole world and the great
majority of people are now, though they may be unaware of it,
components of the system of the dajjal. Through their cunning
techniques, atheist masons have turned some educators and professors
into supporters of Darwinism. Many educators across the world are now
supporters and adherents of this terriblecorruption. The children
raised under the influence of the system of the dajjal become part of
this same Darwinist education andfall into the same corruption. Using
his own false knowledge, the dajjal works on scholars by appearing
topossess scholarship himself, and thus draws them into his
corruption. Since they receive a Darwinist education, themajority of
people began espousing this dreadful corruption of the dajjal. Since
they areunaware of the scale of the corruption of Darwinism, the
dajjal makes them into his own soldiers. When people realize the scale
of this great corruption of the dajjal and see the danger posed by
Darwinism can they understand how they have been deceived and followed
the dajjal unawares. It is thereforeof the greatest importance for the
deception of Darwinism to be exposed with full supporting evidence
andfor people to fully comprehend this greatest fraud in the history
of the world.
12. The great dajjal will abrogate the injunctionsof the Christian
Law, anddestroying the bonds in accordance with which the life of
Christian society is administered, he will prepare the ground for
anarchy and Gog and Magog ... Similarly, the Sufyan, ... due to the
devices of satan and the evil-commanding soul, will try to abrogate
some of the eternal injunctions of the Shari'a of the Prophet Muhammad
(saas), and destroying the material and spiritual bonds of human life,
and leaving headstrong, drunken, giddy souls without restriction, he
will unfasten the luminous chains of respect and compassion. By giving
people a freedom which is pure despotism so they fall on one another
in a swamp of putrid lust, he will open up the way to a terrible
anarchy. (The Rays / The Fifth Ray - Second Station - p.115)
One of the worst corruptions of atheistic freemasonry, the system of
the dajjal, is the way that it depicts itself as religious but seeks
to drive a wedge between devout Muslims, Christians and Jews who all
believe in Allah by spreading corruption among them. It tries to set
believers at one another's throats by approaching them behind a mask
of religious devotion, suggesting that the others are the dajjal
andtrying to introduce corruption into their beliefs. In this way,
atheist masons seek to neutralize the main force that is capable of
vanquishing them. If true Muslims, Christians and Jews live together
as brothers, praise Allah and strive to spread religious moral values,
thus opposing the dajjal, then of course that will put an end to his
system. That is why atheist freemasonry, the system of the dajjal,
suggests to immaculate Muslims, Christians and Jews that the others
are the dajjal, sets them at odds with one another and even incites
them to attack each other. It is devout believers that will eliminate
this ghastly corruption. It is obvious that believers will be stronger
and victorious through praising Allah, not through falling out with
one another. It is essential that they become fully aware of this
threat and wage their true struggle against Darwinism, the greatest
weapon in the hands of atheist freemasonry, the system of the dajjal,
in order to be able to put an end to the corruption of the dajjal.
13. It will be the truly pious followers of the Prophet Jesus (as) who
will [intellectually] kill the gigantic collective personality of
materialism and irreligion which the dajjal will form and destroy his
ideas and disbelief, which are atheistic. Those truly pious Christians
will blend the essence of true Christianity with theessence of Islam
and rout the dajjal with theircombined strength, in effect
(spiritually) killing him. The narration: "The Prophet Jesus (as) will
come and will perform the obligatory prayers behind Hazrat Mahdi
(as)and follow him," alludes to this union, and to the sovereignty of
the Qur'an and its being followed. (The Rays / The Fifth Ray - Second
Station - p.109)
The End Times we are living in are when Darwinism, the worst
corruption of the dajjal, have spread right across the world. It is
the fundamental source of all the irreligion, oppression and
slaughter, immorality, war and ruthlessness that have emerged in the
world. The corruption of Darwinismhas been spread through
indoctrination in the press and media by atheist freemasonry, the
system of the dajjal, and has entered most people's subconscious
without their even being aware of it, distanced them from all human
qualities and now holds the world under its sway. Darwinism is the
strongest weapon in the hands of atheist freemasonry, the system of
the dajjal, and the worst corruption of the End Times.
By Allah's leave, the return of the Prophet Jesus (as) is imminent.
And as can be seen from the hadith and statements by great Islamic
scholars, Hazrat Mahdi (as) is already among us and engaged in his
intellectual struggle. The Prophet Jesus (as) and Hazrat Mahdi (as)
will combat the corruption of the dajjal together and eliminate this
whole heretical system. This age will be one of peace, love, justice
and plenty. The corruption that atheistic freemasonry, the system of
the dajjal, seeks to insert between Muslims, Christians and Jews will
come to an endduring that time, and all believers will worship
together in peace as brothers. People will enjoy the freedom of
liberation from the corruption of the dajjal, and the world will enter
the Golden Age in all its glory. The coming of the Golden Age, when
peace, happiness and beauty rule is, by Allah's leave, close at hand.

the world through atheist masonic publications is to turn people away
from belief in Allah.

Fathwa, - It is permissible for menstruating woman to remain in Mas‘a
Question
Is it allowable for menstruating women to enter Al-Masjid
Al-Haraamwithout reaching the nave (area surrounding the Ka'bah), the
Ka'bah or the area of circumambulation? For example, to enter through
the door of King Fahd, or stand in Mas'a, i.e. the area where pilgrims
perform Sa'y between As-Safa and Al-Marwah for supplication and to
wait for her friends to perform 'Umrah?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify
that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad
, is His Slave and Messenger.
Muslim scholars hold different opinions regarding the ruling on
menstruating women entering the Masjid; the preponderant opinion is
that it is impermissible.
And this ruling applies to Al-Masjid Al-Haraam even more so due to its
nobility. This applies to all areas that are attached to Al-Masjid
Al-Haraam, such as the yard of the Masjid beyond the doors, and the
area between the nave and the Mas'a; However, it is permissiblefor a
menstruating woman to enter the Mas'a since she is allowedto perform
Sa'y between As-Safa and Al-Marwah. 'Aa'ishah narrated that the
Prophet , told her when she experienced menstrual bleeding during
Hajj: " Dowhat all the pilgrims do except that you do not perform
Tawaaf round the Ka'bah. " [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]
This proves that the Mas'ais not a part of Al-Masjid Al-Haraam.

Fathwa, - Ruling on menstruating women entering a wedding hall attached tothe Masjid
Question
Is it permissible for a bride who is menstruating to enter a wedding
hall attached to the Masjid so as to conduct her marriage contract ?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify
that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad
, is His Slave and Messenger.
If the hall was intended to be a women's prayer hall, then it is
impermissible for a menstruating woman to enter; for its ruling is as
the ruling for the Masjid itself. and according to the majority of
scholars itis forbidden for menstruating women to stay in a Masjid.
However,if this wedding hall was not pre-allocated to be a prayer room
for women, even if women pray in it, then it is permissible for
menstruating women to enter it.
It is worth mentioning that the bride's presence during nuptials is
not a requirement., Her consent can be taken beforehand and the
marriage contract can be fulfilled without her presence..

Fruits of Reliance upon Allaah The Almighty
1. Triumph:
Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): "If Allaah should aid you, no
one can overcome you; but if He should forsake you, who is there that
can aid you after Him? And upon Allaah let the believers rely." [Quran
3:160]
The command of Allaah The Almighty in the verse to rely uponHim came
after the mention of victory so as to show that one of the means of
attaining victory is to rely upon Him.
2. Protection from the accursed devil:
Allaah The Exalted Says (what means): "Indeed, there is for him no
authority over those who havebelieved and rely upon their Lord."
[Quran 16:99]
3. Courage:
He, who relies upon Allaah The Exalted, will never fear anyone or
anything. It was reported that Anas ibn Maalik said, "The Prophet was
the best and most courageous of people. Oncethe people of Madeenah
were frightened (having heard a loud sound); so, the Prophet,
sallallaah'alayhi wa sallam, met the people while he was riding an
unsaddledhorse belonging to Abu Talhah and carrying his sword (slung
over his shoulder). The Prophet said (to them): "Do not be afraid, do
not be afraid."' Then Anas added, "We found it, (i.e. the horse), very
quick." [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]
Furthermore, Hannaad ibn As-Sariyy reported in his book Az-Zuhd that
Shaqeeq ibn Salamah Abu Waa'il said,"We went out on a scary night and
passed by a thicket where we saw a sleeping man and his horse was tied
beside him. We woke him up and exclaimed, 'How could you sleep in the
open thicket like that?' The man woke up, raised his head, looked at
us and said, 'I feel bashful and ashamed to fear other than Allaah The
Almighty, the Owner of the Honorable Throne.' He uttered these words
and went back to sleep."
4. Sustenance:
'Umar ibn Al-Khattaab reported that the Prophet said: "If only you
rely upon Allaah with due reliance, He would provide you with
sustenance as He provides birds; they leave (their nest early) in the
morning hungry and then return in the evening with their bellies
full." [Ibn Maajah and At-Tirmithi]
5. An indication of true faith:
Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {The believers are only those
who, when Allaah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when
His Verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon
their Lord they rely –} [Quran 8:2]
Allaah The Almighty also Says in seven verses (what means): {… Upon
Allaah the believers should rely.} [Quran 3:122]
Sa'eed ibn Jubayr said,"Reliance upon Allaah is the essence of faith."
[Az-Zuhd by Hannaad] Moreover, Ibn Al-Qayyim related, "Reliance upon
Allaah constitutes half of one's religion and the other half is
turning to Allaah in repentance; for religion has two parts; seeking
support (from Allaah) and worshipping (Him); for reliance upon Allaah
is seeking His Support and turning to Allaah in repentance is
worshipping Him." [Madaarij As-Saalikeen]
6. Preservation and protection:
Allaah The Almighty Says (what means):
• {… and rely upon Allaah. And sufficient is Allaah as Disposer of
affairs.} [Quran 4:81]
• {… And whoever relies upon Allaah – then He is Sufficient for him.}
[Quran 65:3]
• {But whoever relies upon Allaah– then indeed, Allaah is Exalted in
might and Wise." [Quran 8:49]
Ibn Abi Ad-Dunya in his book At-Tawakkul, related, "'Awn ibn
'Abdullaah reported,
'A grief stricken man was sitting in a garden in Egypt during the
Fitnah of Ibn Az-Zubayr scraping the ground with something. A man with
a shovel passed by this man and asked him, 'Why are you sad and
depressed?' The sad man looked as if he despised the questioner and
said, 'Nothing.' The man inquired, 'Are you sad over a worldly affair;
indeed, this life is ephemeral. The fleeting pleasuresof this life are
for both pious and impious people, yet the Hereafteris a promised day
when Allaah, the Just and Powerful, will judge between falsehood and
truth.'
'The sad man liked his words andresponded on the condition of the
Muslims nowadays. The man answered him, 'Indeed, Allaah The Exalted
will save you due to your compassion and love for your fellow Muslims;
implore Allaah The Exalted; for who has beseeched Him and his
supplication was rejected? Who has asked Him and his request was
denied? Who relied upon Him and faced failure? Who trusted Him and was
disappointed?'
'The sad man supplicated: 'O Allaah, save me and save others from me.'
Allaah The Exalted protected him and his people from that Fitnah and
they were not afflicted by any harm."
7. Winning the love of Allaah The Almighty:
Allaah The Almighty also Says (what means): { Indeed, Allaah loves
those who rely [upon Him].} [Quran 3:159]
8. The best fruit is entering Paradise:
Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {And those who have believed
and done righteous deeds – We will surely assign to them of Paradise
[elevated] chambers beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide
eternally. Excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers * Who
have been patient and upon theirLord rely.} [Quran 29:58-59]
Moreover, Ibn 'Abbaas narrated that the Prophet said:
"Nations were displayed before me; one or two prophets would pass by
along with a few followers. A prophet would pass by accompanied by
nobody. Then a large crowd of people passed infront of me and I asked,
'Who arethey? Are they my followers?' It was said, 'No. It is Moosa
(Moses) and his followers. It was said to me, 'Look at the horizon.'
Behold! There was a multitude of people filling the horizon. Then it
was said to me, 'Look there and there about the stretching sky!
Behold! There was a multitude filling the horizon,' It was said to me,
'This is your Ummah out of whom seventy thousand shall enter Paradise
without reckoning.'"
Then the Prophet entered his house without telling his Companions, may
Allah be pleased with them, who they (the seventy thousand who will
enter Paradise without account) were. So the people started talking
about the issue and said,"It is we who have believed in Allaah and
followed His Messenger; therefore those people are either ourselves or
ourchildren who are born in the Islamic era, for we were born in the
pre-Islamic Period of Ignorance.''
When the Prophet heard of this, he came out and said: "Those people
are those who do not seek Ruqyah, nor do they believe in or see an
evil omen in things nor do they get themselves branded (cauterized),
but they depend (only) upon theirLord." [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]
Reliance should be only upon Allaah:
One may say, "If it were not for Allaah The Exalted then so and so…",
if that person was a means to achieve your goal. Yet, it is
impermissible to say, "I relied upon Allaah The Exalted then on so and
so..." Moreover, it is even worse to say, "I rely upon Allaah The
Exalted and so and so"; Allaah The Exalted Says (what means):
• {Say, "I am not over you a manager.} [Quran 6:66]
• {… That you not take other thanMe as Disposer of affairs…} [Quran17:2]
• {… Upon Allaah the believers should rely.} [Quran 3:122]
Hence, seeking other than Allaah The Almighty for help is permissible,
but reliance upon any other than Him, the Exalted, is impermissible.

• {… And whoever relies upon Allaah – then He is Sufficient for him.}
[Quran 65:3]
• {But whoever relies upon Allaah– then indeed, Allaah is Exalted in
might and Wise." [Quran 8:49]
Ibn Abi Ad-Dunya in his book At-Tawakkul, related, "'Awn ibn
'Abdullaah reported,
'A grief stricken man was sitting in a garden in Egypt during the
Fitnah of Ibn Az-Zubayr scraping the ground with something. A man with
a shovel passed by this man and asked him, 'Why are you sad and
depressed?' The sad man looked as if he despised the questioner and
said, 'Nothing.' The man inquired, 'Are you sad over a worldly affair;
indeed, this life is ephemeral. The fleeting pleasuresof this life are
for both pious and impious people, yet the Hereafteris a promised day
when Allaah, the Just and Powerful, will judge between falsehood and
truth.'
'The sad man liked his words andresponded on the condition of the
Muslims nowadays. The man answered him, 'Indeed, Allaah The Exalted
will save you due to your compassion and love for your fellow Muslims;
implore Allaah The Exalted; for who has beseeched Him and his
supplication was rejected?

Means of Acquiring Refined Morals
Undeniably, changing one's morals for the better is the toughest
change for the human being, but it is not impossible. There are many
ways and methods to help one acquire refined morals, which include
thefollowing:
Pure creed:
Having a pure creed is a serious matter, as one's conduct and behavior
are, very often, the fruits of one's creed and ideology. A person's
conduct is the practical translation of what he believes in.
Accordingly, any sense of deviation in behavior is the result of a
defective creed. The Prophet said: ~ "The believers who are the most
perfect in respect of their faith are those who have the best
morals."~~
Supplication:
Indeed, supplications are a great means to attain refined morals; once
Allaah The Exalted Accepted a person's supplications, he will be
showered with bounties and graces.
Hence, he who aspires to be well-mannered, giving up his badmorals,
should resort to supplication. In fact, the Prophet used to implore
Allaah The Exalted to Grant him good morals. He used to supplicate:
"Allaahumma Ihdini li Ahsan Al-Akhlaaq, la yahdi li ahsaniha illa
anta, wa Isrif 'anni sayi'aha, layasrifu 'Anni sayi'aha illa anta (O
Allaah, Guide me to the best morals, as none can guide to the best
morals except You, and Save me from bad morals, as none cansave me
from bad morals except You)."
Striving:
Acquiring refined morals is a form of guidance that one acquires
through exerting great effort. Allaah The Exalted Says (what means):#
{And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways.
And indeed, Allaah Is with the doers of good.}## [Quran 29: 96]
Self-reckoning:
This can be done through self-criticism; whenever one commits a
reprehensible deed, he can adopt the carrot-and-stickprinciple.
Reflecting on the implications and fruits of refined morals and
pondering over its good consequences is one of the greatest reasons
that drive one to strive to acquire that quality. Moreover, bear in
mind that the harder the deed is, the greater itsreward becomes.
Pondering on the consequences of bad morals:
This reflection brings to mind theevil consequences of bad morals:
they give rise to pain, grief, worry, misery, regret and hatred in the
hearts of people.
Patience:
Indeed, patience is one of the major moral bases of the Muslim
character and is one of the fundamental refined morals. Patience helps
people to endure and accept calamities, restrain their anger, adopt
forbearance, kindness, sympathy, and shun recklessness and haste.
Justice:
Justice urges one to maintain a balance in terms of morals, i.e. tobe
moderate in one's morals and not to be excessive or lax; not to be
cowardly or reckless, or lenient, in a negative sense, and angry. -

Close the Open Doors
On our journey towards handling the problem of sexual desires that
embitter the life of many Muslim young men, let us discuss an
important issue that will help you release yourself from the
captivity of sexual desires, namely, "closing the open doors".
Here, the words "open doors" stand for everything that is related to
sexual desire and sins, and for the things that can lure you to
return to them once more. Hence, your sincere repentance and honest
determination to abandon such sins requires making haste to close
these doors, which include the satellite dish, internet, magazines,
and other remnants of that past.
Taking this important decision requires a moment of truthfulness with
yourself, because you must get rid of all that can take you back to
your past, just as you have got rid of your past itself.
You must take the decision to leave the swamps of sin for the gardens
of obedience and closeness to Allaah The Exalted, like the one who
killed a hundredpeople and then Allaah The Exalted admitted him to
Paradise due to his sincere repentance.
Take the decision to get rid of everything that reminds you of the
dismal past, and that supports and gives power to yourdevil over you.
These decisions require taking the following steps:
1- Tear up all the immoral magazines that you keep. Then remove the
pictures that are hung on the walls of your room and replace them with
posters ofHadeeths (narrations) and things that remind you of Allaah
The Almighty. You could also put up pictures of natural scenery.
2- Destroy video tapes, CDs or films that you keep on your PC by
deleting them, and replace them with religious or scientific lectures
and materials.
3- Purify your PC from any pornographic sites and then force yourself
not to return to these sites by installing anti-pornsoftware on your
PC to block any pornographic sites.
4- You must immediately sever your relationship/s, if you have any,
with girls, and you must erase their phone numbers that you keep.
These steps will not be hard to take as long as you have a good
intention and strong determination, as Ibn Al-Qayyim said in
Al-Fawaa'id,
"Whoever abandons habits for the sake of other than Allaah The
Almighty, will surely face difficulty. However, whoever abandons
habits for the sake of Allaah The Almighty sincerely from his heart;
he will not find any difficulty in abandoning it except at first.
(This initial difficulty) is to test if one is sincere and truthful.
If he endures this difficulty for a short time, it will turn into
pleasure. Ibn Seereen said, 'I heard Shurayhswear by Allaah; no slave
of Allaah abandons something for the sake of Allaah and feels a sense
of loss.' It is said, 'Whoeverabandons anything for the sake of
Allaah, He will compensate him with what is better.' Of course,
compensation is of different kinds and the best is to be
compensated by Allaah with His love, and the heart's tranquility,
satisfaction, strength, activity, happiness, and contentment."
Thus, be patient, because the sweetness of good health enables one to
endure the bitterness of medicine. - - ▓███▓ Translator:->

Friday Prayers, - Speaking during the interval when the imaam falls silent between the two khutbahs.
Is it permissible to speak during the interval when the imaam falls
silent between the two khutbahs at Jumu'ah (Friday) prayer? Is it
permissible to make a gesture by pointing to one's lips with one's
forefinger in order to remind a person that he should not speak during
the khutbah?
Praise be to Allaah. It is permissible to speak during the interval
when the imaam falls silent between the two khutbahs, if there is a
need to do so. It is OK to gesture to one who speaks whilst the imaam

Friday Prayers, - Employees whose work means that they have to continue working at the time of Jumu’ah.
Some sensitive jobs require the constant presence of an employee,
including at the times of obligatory prayers and Jumu'ah (Friday)
prayers. Should these employees leave their work and go and pray, or
should they stay on the job?
Praise be to Allaah.
The basic principle is that Jumu'ah prayer is obligatory upon
individuals, because Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
"O you who believe (Muslims)! When the call is proclaimed for the
Salaah (prayer) on Friday (Jumu'ah prayer), come to the remembrance of
Allaah [Jumu'ah religious talk (Khutbah) and Salaah (prayer)] and
leave off business (and every other thing). That is better for you if
you did but know!"
[al-Jumu'ah 62:9]
And Imam Ahmad narrated from Ibn Mas'ood (may Allaah be pleased with
him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said
concerning some peoplewho were failing to attend Jumu'ah prayers: "I
had thought to tell a man to lead the people in prayer, then I would
burn down the houses of men who fail to attend Jumu'ah
prayers."(Ahmad, 1/402; Muslim, 1/452). Muslim narrated from Abu
Hurayrah and Ibn 'Umar (may Allaah bepleased with them) that they
heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon
him) say from the minbar: "There are people who should stop neglecting
Jumu'ah,or else Allaah will put a seal on their hearts, thenthey will
surely be among the negligent." And there is consensus among the
scholars on this point (that Jumu'ah is obligatory). But if a person
for whom Jumu'ah is obligatory has a legitimate shar'i excuse – such
as one who is directly responsible for a matter of national security
and protecting the interests of the ummah, and he is required to do
that job at the time of Jumu'ah, such as those who are incharge of
security, traffic, wireless and telephone communications, etc, those
whose shift happens to be at the time of the second call toJumu'ah
prayers or the time of a prayer in congregation – then such people are
excused for not praying Jumu'ah or prayers in congregation, because of
the general meaning of the verse (interpretation of the meaning):
"So keep your duty to Allaah and fear Him as much as you can"
[al-Taghaabun 64:16]
And the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon
him) said: "Whatever I forbid you to do, avoid it, and whatever I
command you to do, do as much ofit as you can." Moreover, such a person
has no lessan excuse than one who is excused because he fears for his
life or his wealth etc., who the scholars have said is excused for not
praying Jumu'ah or prayers in congregation so long as the reason is
present. But the obligation to pray Zuhr still stands, and he must
pray it on time; whenever he can pray in congregation he is obliged to
do that, as is the case with all the five daily obligatory prayers.

Friday Prayers, - They are travelling to a European country and there are 15 of them; should they pray Jumu ‘ah?.
We have traveled to a European country for leisure for a period of
five weeks as already decided (staying in a hotel which is very
comfortable, praise be to Allah). There is no mosque in the city we
are staying in. What is the ruling on joining and shortening
obligatory prayers? Do we have to do offer Jumu'ah prayer? Please note
that the number of people makes that possible (more than 15 people),
and among us there is someone who can give the khutbah forJumu'ah. Two
weeks have already passed andwe did not pray Jumu'ahon the grounds
that there is no Jumu'ah for the traveller.

If the traveller intends tostay in a place for more than four days,
then he comes under the same rulings as a resident, so he has to offer
the prayers in full from the moment he enters the city; he also has to
pray Jumu'ah where the call for it is given.
Ibn Qudaamah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The well known view
from Ahmad is that the periodwhich makes it obligatory for the
traveller to offer prayers in full if he intends to stay there is
whatever is more than twenty-one prayers. This was narrated by
al-Athram and al-Marwadhi and others. And it was narrated from him
that if he intends to stay there for four days he should offer the
prayers in full, and if he intends to stay there for less than that,
then he may shorten the prayers. Thisis the view of Maalik,
al-Shaafa'i, and Abu Thawr.
End quote from al-Mughni (2/65)
In Fataawa al-Lajnah it says: Travel in which it is prescribed to
avail oneself of the concessions of travel is that which is
customarilyregarded as travel, and the distance in question is
approximately 80 km. If a person is sure he willcover this distance or
more, then he may avail himself of the concessions of travel, such as
wiping over the socks for three days and nights, joining and
shortening prayers, and breaking the fast in Ramadan. If the
travellerintends to stay in a placefor more than four days, then he
should not avail himself of the concessions of travel, but if he
intends to stay for four days or less, then he may avail himself of
those concessions. If a travelleris staying in a place and he does not
know when he will finish his business and he has not set a specific
time for hisstay, then he may avail himself of the concessions of
travel even if he stays there fora long time. There is no
differentiation between travel on land and travel by sea. End quote.
Thus it is known that you have to offer the prayers in full, and it is
not permissible for you to shorten them.
With regard to joining prayers, this is not limited to travel; rather
it is prescribed in other cases too, such as when it is raining, if
one is sickand in case of hardship. See the answer to question number
39176 .
The basic principle is that you should offer theprayers on time, and
if there is a reason that makes you join the prayers, then it is
permissible to join them.
Thirdly:
If there are no residents living in this city where you will be
staying for whom Jumu'ah is obligatory, then you do not have to pray
Jumu'ah.
See the answer to question number 11556 .
If the traveller intends tostay for any length of time which means
that he is not permitted to shorten the prayers, then he has to pray
Jumu'ah by joining others, not by setting up Jumu'ah prayers
himself. If there are people livingthere for whom Jumu'ahis obligatory,
then this traveller has to pray with them.

five weeks as already decided (staying in a hotel which is very
comfortable, praise be to Allah).
Praise be to Allaah.
Firstly:
In the answer to question number 111934 , we have discussed the ruling
on travelling to non-Muslim countries forthe purpose of tourism and
leisure.

Islamic Stories, - We are extremly rich, yet we don't know it
Once a person came to a Shaikh (Islamic scholar) and complained to him
about his own poverty, saying that he was in great distress and
wouldprefer death to such a life. The Shaikh said to him, "Are you
willing to have your eyes taken out in exchange for ten thousand
Dirhams (silvercoins)." He replied"Certainly not." The Shaikh said
"Would you like to have your tongueplucked out and get ten thousand
Dirhams in return?" The man said,"Of course not." The Shaikh said,
"Would you agree to having both your hands and feet cut off in return
for twenty thousand Dirhams." The man said that he would not. The
Shaikh asked"Are you willing to be made a mad man and get ten thousand
Dirhams in return?" The man said that he was not willing. At this, the
Shaikh said to him, "Are you not ashamed of yourself? You admit that
Allah Ta'ala has granted you so many precious gifts, the value
whereof, in your own estimation, exceeds fifty thousand Dirhams
(counting only afew gifts, by way of illustration) and yet you
complain of poverty!"

Islamic Stories, - Why bitter fruits were sweet to Ayyaz
There was a famous ruler by the name SultanMahmud and he had a slave
called Ayyaz. SultanMahmud loved Ayyaz very much because of hisgreat
wisdom. From timeto time, Sultan would test Ayyaz with various things
to see how much love Ayyaz had for him. One day, Sultan Mahmudgathered
the most bitterfruits from his garden and called Ayyaz. Sultan told
Ayyaz to eat them. Ayyaz took the fruits in his hands and kissed them
and then started eating them without anyhesitation. Sultan observed
that Ayyaz was eating the fruits with great pleasure and the bitter
taste was not affecting him in any way. Now Sultan started thinking
that he might've picked the wrong fruits, so, he tookone of the fruits
from Ayyaz to find out. As soon as Sultan took a bite, he was
overwhelmed by the bitterness of the fruit and started screaming for
water. When Sultan settled down, he asked Ayyaz why he was unaffected
by the fruits. Ayyaz said "You only see the bitterness of the fruits
but you don't see the one who gave them to me? They were given to me
by the king himself!"
My dear friends, today we find some commandments of Allah to be bitter
and hard to follow. However, we should rather follow them with great
love because they were givento us by the King of all kings, Allah. -
