Failing Attempts to open the grave of Fatima Zahra (sa) in Jannat al-Baqi
At sunrise people gathered to participate in Fatima Zahra's (sa)
funeral, but they were informed that the darlingof Messenger of Allah
(saw) had been secretly buried during the night.
Meanwhile, Imam Ali (as) made the shapes of four fresh graves in
Jannat al-Baqi , so as to conceal the location where Fatima Zahra (sa)
was buried. When the people entered the graveyard, they were confused
as to which spot was actually Lady Fatima Zahra's grave; the people
turned towards each other and with feelings of guilt said: "Our
Prophet Muhammad (saw) has notleft behind but one daughter, yet she
has died and was buried without our participationin the funeral or the
prayer rituals. We do not even realize the place where she has been
buried."
Noticing that a revolt might be ignited becauseof the emotional
atmosphere this event created, the governing party announced: "Select
a group of Muslim women and ask them to dig these graves so that we
may find Fatima Zahra (sa) and perform prayers on her."
Yes! They attempted to execute the plan, violating Fatima's (sa) will
and causing Imam Ali's (as) attempts to hide the grave to lay vainly.
Have they forgotten Imam Ali's (as) sharp sword, Zulfiqar and his
well-known courage! Didthey really think that Imam Ali (as) would
remain indifferent to their outrageous actions up to the point of
letting them dig Fatima's (sa) grave?
Imam Ali (as) did not fight back after the Prophet Muhammad's (saw)
death because he considered the Muslim unity and over all interests.
Yet, this did notmean that he would ignore their villainous crimes
against Fatima Zahra (sa) even after her death. In other words, Imam
Ali (as) was asked by Prophet Muhammad (saw) to have patience, but
only to a certain extent; when Imam Ali (as) received the news of the
about-to-be-executed plot, he put on his fighting gear and rushed
towards Jannat al-Baqi. A man from among the people called out, "This
is Ali ibn Abu Talib leveling his sword and saying: If anyone moves
even a mere stonefrom these graves, I shall strike even the back of
the last follower of the unjust."
People who realized Imam Ali's (as) seriousness, took his threats with
complete belief that he would do just as he said if anyone were to
oppose him. Yet, a man from the governing ones addressed Imam Ali (as)
by saying: "What is the matter, Abu Al-Hassan? ByAllah, we shall dig
her grave out and perform prayers on her."
Imam Ali (as) then grabbed the man by his clothes, shook him and threw
him to the ground and said: "Son of the Sawada! I have abandoned my
right to prevent people from forsaking their faith, but as regards
Fatima's (sa) grave, by Him in whose hand is my soul, if you and your
followers attempt to do anything to it, I will irrigate the ground
with your blood!"
At this, Abu Bakr said;"Abu Al-Hassan, I ask you by the right of
Messengerof Allah, and by Him Who is above the Throne: leave him alone
and we will not do anything which you would not approve of."
Thus, until this day, the location of Fatima Zahra's(sa) grave remains a secret.
Fatima Zahra (sa) had asked to be buried at night. Her request for
hiding her shrine was in fact a message she wanted to send to history:
a message for theentire Muslim Ummah that would lead to hearing her
sad life story, and what her constant objections were. And thisin fact
could be a turningpoint in the history of Islamic civilization.
It was because of this that Fatima Zahra (sa) found life from death,
victory from defeat, and an epic and everlasting peace from misery.
She created a revolution in the hearts of all generations. Her heart
still beats to the fate of the Muslim Ummah. And her eyes await the
flag offreedom that will appear with his son the Promised Mahdi (as).
Today, like all other periods people face misery and oppression. We
must look unto the secret of the hidden grave, and think about Fatima
Zahra's (sa) tears and burning sighs, and retell her message as bestwe

Quiet Funeral of Fatima Zahra (sa), the daughter of Messenger of Allah (saw)
A small procession of devoted ones, sobbing with grief, with their
faces covered, is quietly moving towards an unknown location to bury
someone special, someone they loved. It was a dark night of the third
of Jamadi al-Thani , 11th Hijrah in the city of Madina, the city of
Prophet Muhammad (saw) just few days after passing away of Prophet
Muhammad (saw) .
They were Kids with theirfather and his close friends walking quietly
with patience and happy with their Lord over what they went through
during last few days. But they were sobbing suppressing their voices,
tears were flowing but without a sound, concealing their grief, so
that no one can hear them in the dark quiet night they wanted no one
in Madina to know about what they were going through.
Yes, their father is none but Imam Ali (as); Imam Hassan, Imam
Hussain, Hazrat Zainab and Hazrat Umm Kulthum (pbut) are quietly
walking behind their father and Abu Dharr, Ammar Yasir, Miqdad ibn
Aswad and Salman Farsi.
When eyes were asleep and voices were silent, a Heavenly procession
left Imam Ali's (as) house while carrying the Messenger of Allah's
daughter Fatima Zahra (sa) to her final abode. Yes, Imam Hassan, Imam
Hussain, Hazrat Zainab and Hazrat Umm Kulthum(pbut) were walking in
the quiet funeral procession of their beloved mother.
But, where are the thousands who inhabitedMadina? What has happened
why nobody why funeral and burial indark night. Yes Fatima Zahra (sa)
had requested Imam Ali (as) that they are not allowed at her funeral,
she wished to beburied in the dark night quietly and her grave be
hidden from everyone.
There was dead silence. So long, with no word, dead silence just tears
just sob just grief. But wait a sobbing sigh was heard somebody was
weeping. Yes it was Imam Ali (as), the hero of Badr, Ohud, Khayber,
Khandaq and several other battles. Don't you realize that he is
weeping? Why would he not weep for being separated from the leader of
all women? The lady of light passing away so oppressed and after so
many painful events!
Weeping tears flowing from his eyes his heart full of grief he was
saying, O' Messenger of Allah, peace be upon you from me and from your
daughter who has come to you and who has hastened to meet you. O'
Messenger of Allah, my patience about your chosen (daughter) has been
exhausted and my power of endurance has weakened, except that I have
ground for consolation in having endured the great hardship and
heartrending event of your separation.
To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return. (Noble Qur'an, 2:156)
Now the trust has been returned and what had been given has been taken
back. As to my grief, it knows no boundsand as to my nights, they will
remain sleepless till Allah (SWT) chooses for me the house in which
you are now residing. Certainly your daughter would apprise you of the
joining together of your Ummah (community or nation) for oppressing
her. You ask her in detail and get all the news about the position.
This has happened when a long time had not elapsed and your
remembrance had not disappeared.
My Salaam be on you both, the Salaam of a grief stricken and not
theone who is fed up; for if Igo away it is not becauseI am weary (of
you), and if I stay it is not due to lack of belief in what Allah
(SWT) has promised the patient in sorrow.
After burying Fatima Zahra (sa) the family and their friends then
rushed back to their own homes so that no one would know where She was
buried.
Back in home again the kids were sad lonely theirmother was not with
them. Imam Ali (as) was taking care of them He was consoling them. But
it was not an easy task, he would calm the kids and then himself move
away to a corner of house so that they don't see him and then cry out
himself. Yes the hero of Badr, Ohud, Khayber, Khandaq and several
other battles was sadly exhausted of grief.
They were going throughthe events that happenedafter their beloved
Prophet Muhammad's (saw) passing away, the Ghadir was forgotten, Fadak
was usurped, their house was attacked, the burning door fell upon
Fatima Zahra (sa), breaking her ribs and leaving her unborn child dead
she was then sick bed ridden, isolated and at last she passed away.
It was the Kids first night without their beloved teacher, mother,
friend their mother, after sobbing and sighing for sometime, the kids
slept, missing her. Fatima Zahra(sa) was quietly watchingher Kids from
heavens.
This was a narration of the sad and quiet funeralof Fatima Zahra (sa),
the leader of all women of the worlds, the lady who was heavenly, who
held pivotal position in the household of Prophet Muhammad (saw). She
her husband and sons would fast and give awaytheir food at the time of
Iftar for three days and Allah (SWT) would thank them in the Noble
Qur'an.Even in her night prayers, she would give preference to
neighbors and friends over her ownfamily members.
Though Fatima Zahra (sa)lived a short life fruits of her life are
never ending. She was a great teacher who taught her Kids lessons of
self-sacrifice, bravery, defense of Islam and upholding high human
values. Fatima Zahra (sa) is an ideal personality for women tofollow.
But alas! Until today ah nobody exactly knows where is the grave of
Fatima Zahra (sa) for whom Prophet Muhammad (saw) would stand with
respect and says: "Fatima is part of me. Whatever causes her hurt,
hurts me." Prophet Muhammad (saw) also said: "Whoever hurts Fatima,
hurts me, and whoever hurts me, hurts Allah, exalted be His Majesty!"
Prophet Muhammad (saw) said further: "Allah becomes wrathful for
Fatima's anger, and is pleased at her pleasure." History records that
this great lady is buried in Jannat al-Baqi graveyard of Madina but
her exact grave remains unknown.

Ubayy ibn Kab - Biographies of the Companions (Sahabah)
"O Abu Mundhir! Which verse of the Book of God is the greatest?" asked
the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. "Allah
and His Messenger know best," came the reply. The Prophet repeated the
question and Abu Mundhir replied.
"Allah, there is no god but He, the Living the Self-Subsisting.
Neither slumber overtakes him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in
the heavens and whatever is on earth, ..." and most likely he went on
to complete the Verse of the Throne (Ayat al-Kursi).
The Prophet smote his chest with his right hand in approval on hearing
the reply and with his countenance beaming with happiness, said to Abu
Mundhir."May knowledge delight and benefit you, Abu Mundhir."
This Abu Mundhir whom the Prophet congratulated on the knowledge and
understanding which God had bestowed on him was Ubayy ibn Kab, one of
his distinguished companions and a person of high esteem in the early
Muslim community.
Ubayy was one of the Ansar and belonged to the Khazraj tribe. Hewas
one of the first persons of Yathrib to accept Islam. He pledged
allegiance to the Prophet at Aqabah before the Hijrah. He participated
in the Battle of Badr and other engagements thereafter. Ubayy was one
of the select few who committed the Quranic revelations to writing and
had a Mushaf of his own. He acted as a scribe of the Prophet, writing
letters for him. At the demise of the Prophet, he was one of the
twenty five or so people who knew the Quran completely by heart. His
recitation was so beautiful and his understanding so profound that the
Prophet encouraged his companions to learn the Quran from him and from
three others. Later, Umar too once told the Muslims as he was dealing
with some financial matters of state:
"O people! Whoever wants to ask about the Quran, let him go to Ubayy
ibn Kab..." (Umar went on to say that anyone wishing toask about
inheritance matters should go to Zayd ibn Thabit, about questions of
fiqh to Muadh ibn Jabal and about questions of money and finance,to
himself.)
Ubayy enjoyed a special honor with regard to the Quran. One day, the
Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:"O Ubayy ibn Kab!
I have been commanded to show or lay open the Quran to you."
Ubayy was elated. He knew of course that the Prophet only received
commands from on high. Unable to control his excitement, he asked:
"O Messenger of God...Have I been mentioned to you by name?" "Yes,"
replied the Prophet, "by your own name and by your genealogy (nasab)
inthe highest heavens."
Any Muslim whose name had been conveyed to the heart of the Prophet in
this manner mustcertainly have been of great ability and of a
tremendously high stature.
Throughout the years of his association with the Prophet, Ubayy
derived the maximum benefit from his sweet and noble personality and
from his noble teachings. Ubayy related that the Prophet once asked
him:
"Shall I not teach you a surah the like of which has not been revealed
in the Tawrah, nor in the Injil, nor in the Zabur, nor in the Quran?"
"Certainly," replied Ubayy.
"I hope you would not leave through that door until you know what it
is," said the Prophet obviously prolonging the suspense for Ubayy.
Ubayy continues: "He stood up and I stood up with him. He started
tospeak, with my hand in his. I tried to delay him fearing that he
would leave before letting me know what the surah is. When he reached
the door, I asked: "O Messenger of God! The surah which you promised
to tell me..." He replied:
"What do you recite when you stand for Salat?" So, I recited for him
Fatihatu-l Kitab (the Opening Chapter of the Quran) and he said:
"(That's) it! (That's) it! They are the seven oft-repeated verses of
which God Almighty has said: We have given you the seven
oft-repeatedverses and the Mighty Quran."
Ubayy's devotion to the Quran was uncompromising. Once he recited part
of a verse which the Khalifah Umar apparently could not remember or
did not know and he said to Ubayy: "Your havelied," to which Ubayy
retorted;"Rather, you have lied."
A person who heard the exchange was astounded and said to Ubayy: "Do
you call the Amir al-Muminin a liar?" "I have greater honor and
respect for the Amir al-Muminin than you," responded Ubayy," but he
has erred in verifying the Book of God and I shall not say the Amir
al-Muminin is correct when he has made an error concerning the Book of
God." "Ubayy is right," concluded Umar.
Ubayy gave an idea of the importance of the Quran when aman came to
him and said,"Advise me," and he replied:"Take the Book of God as
(your) leader (imam). Be satisfied with it as (your) judge and ruler.
It is what the Prophet has bequeathed to you. (It is your) intercessor
with God and shouldbe obeyed..."
After the demise of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him
peace, Ubayy remained strong in his attachment to Islam and his
commitment to the Quran and the Sunnah of theProphet. He was constant
in his ibadah and would often be found in the mosque at night, after
the last obligatory Prayer had been performed, engaged inworship or in
teaching. Once he was sitting in the mosque after Salat with a group
of Muslims, making supplication to God. Umar came in and sat with
themand asked each one to recite a dua. They all did until finally
Ubayy's turn came. He was sitting next to Umar. He felt somewhat
over-awed and became flustered. Umar prompted him and suggested that
he say: "Allahumma ighfir lanaa. Allahumma irhamnaa. O Lord, forgive
us, O Lord, have mercy on us."
Taqwa remained the guiding force in Ubayy's life. He lived simply and
did not allow the world to corrupt or deceive him.He had a good grasp
of reality and knew that however a person lived and whatever comforts
and luxuries he enjoyed, these would all fade away and he would have
only hisgood deeds to his credit. He wasalways a sort of warner to
Muslims, reminding them of the times of the Prophet, of the Muslims'
devotion to Islam then,of their simplicity and spirit of sacrifice.
Many people came to him seeking knowledge and advice. To one such
person he said.
"The believer has four characteristics. If he is afflicted by any
misfortune, he remains patient and steadfast. If he is given anything,
he is grateful. If he speaks, he speaks the truth. If he passes a
judgment on any issue, he is just."
Ubayy attained a position of great honor and esteem among the early
Muslims. Umar called him the "sayyid of the Muslims" and he came to be
widely known by this title. He was part of the consultative group
(mushawarah) to which Abu Bakr, as Khalifah, referred many problems.
This group was composed of men of good senseand judgment (ahl ar-ray)
and men who knew the law (ahl al-fiqh) from among the Muhajirin and
Ansar. It included Umar, Uthman, Ali, Abdur Rahman ibn Awl, Muadh ibn
Jabal, Ubayy ibn Kab and Zayd ibn Harith. Umar later consulted the
same group when he was Khalifah. Specifically for fatwas (legal
judgments) he referred to Uthman, Ubayy and Zayd ibn Thabit.
Because of Ubayy's high standing, one might have expected him to have
been givenpositions of administrative responsibility, for example as a
governor, in the rapidly expanding Muslim state. (During the time of
the Prophet in fact he had performed the function of a collector of
sadaqah.) Indeed, Ubayy once asked
"What's the matter with you? Why don't you appoint me as a governor?"
"I do not want your religion to be corrupted" repliedUmar. Ubayy was
probably prompted to put the question toUmar when he saw that
Muslimswere tending to drift from the purity of faith and
self-sacrifice of the days of the Prophet. He was known to be
especially critical of the excessively polite and sycophantic attitude
of many Muslims to their governorswhich he felt brought ruin both to
the governors and those under them. Ubayy for his part was always
honest and frank in his dealings with persons in authority and feared
no one but God. He acted as a sort of conscience to the Muslims.
One of Ubayy's major fears for the Muslim ummah was that a day would

He would then pray fervently to God for guidance and ask for His
clemency and forgiveness. Ubayydied in the year 29 AH during

the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. "Allah
and His Messenger know best," came the reply.
One of Ubayy's major fears for the Muslim ummah was that a day would
come when there would be severe strife among Muslims. He often became
overwhelmed with emotion when he read or heard the verseof the Quran."
"Say: He (Allah) has power to send calamities onyou, from above and
below, or to cover you with confusion in party strife, giving you a
taste of mutual vengeance, each from the other." (Surah al-An'am, 6:
65)
He would then pray fervently to God for guidance and ask for His
clemency and forgiveness. Ubayydied in the year 29 AH during
thecaliphate of Uthman.

Knowledge of Unseen
Some people do not accept that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) has
been blessed by Allah (S.W.T) with Ilm-e -Ghayb (Knowledge of the
Unseen).
The Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaat believes that the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) ,
afterbeing informed by Allah (S.W.T) , is aware of everything that
happened and will happen. "Ghayb" is that hidden thing which cannot be
perceived by human senses nor can be known through human wisdom.
The Holy Quran has mentioned at various places that Allah (S.W.T) has
granted the Knowledge of Unseen to His exalted Prophets. (See Surah
Baqarah Part 1, Ayah 31; Surah Baqarah Part 1, Ayah 251; Surah Naml
Part 19, Ayah 16; Surah Ambiya Part 17, Ayah 74; Surah Yusuf Part 12,
Ayah 68; Surah Yusuf Part 12, Ayah 96; Surah Qasas Part 20, Ayah14)
The fact that Allah (S.W.T) has granted Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) the
Knowledge of Unseen, can be explained in three dimensions:
1) Firstly, he was given the Knowledge of the Unseen directly: (Surah
Hud Part 12, Ayah 49) "These are the news of the unseen, We (Allah)
reveal to you. Neither you did know it before, nor your people. Have
patience. Surely, there is good end for thepious." (This is also
referred toin Surah Yusuf Part 12 Ayah102 and Surah Tukweer Part 30,
Ayah24) .
2) He was given the Quran, which is the treasure house of the
Knowledge of the Unseen : "O people of the Book surely, Our (Allah's)
this Rasool (Messenger Muhammad (S.A.W) ) has come to you who makes
clear to you much of what you had hidden about the Book and he pardons
you much. Surely there has come to you from Allah aNoor (light of
enlightenment) and a very clear book"
(Surah Maidah Part 6, Ayah 15; See Also Surah Nahl Part 14, Ayah89;
SurahYusuf Part 12, Ayah 111;Surah Al -Inaam Part 7 Ayah 38; Surah
Naml Part 19, Ayah 75)
3) He was sent as a witness. A witness can only be that person who is
present at the place and time of happening and sees everything by
himself. "Surely, We (Allah) have sent you as a Witness and a Bearer
of good news and a Warner." (Surah Fath Part 26, Ayah 8; Surah Nisa
Part 5, Ayah 41)
These verses prove that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) will stand witness on
the Day of Judgement. He will not only bear witness for his own Ummah
but also forthe Ummah of other Prophets.
And, finally, what can be hidden from the person who could see Allah
(S.W.T) ! The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) says: "I saw Allah the Almighty.
Allah (S.W.T) put His Hand at my back and I felt it's coolness in my
chest. That very moment, everything became known to Me and I
recognised everything." (Tirmidi; Mishkat)
From the evidence above, it is quite clear that our Beloved Prophet
(S.A.W) has been bestowed with the knowledge of Unseen.
Within a period of approximately 1500 years, from the time it was
proclaimed by Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) , Islam has encountered an
infinite amount of tribulations. In spite of these scathingattacks
against our beloved Deen, never once was it tarnished or disrupted
because, Alhamdulillah, it is Allah (S.W.T) Himself who is the
Protector and Helper of it. He (S.W.T) states in the Holy Quran;
"Surely, We (Allah) have revealed this remembrance (Quran) and We
(Allah) are surely its guardian". (Surah Hajr, V9)
Mischief varying in nature, e.g. the fitna of Yazeed, the scourge of
Hajjaj ibn Yusuf, the deception of the Khaarijees etc., had previously
unsuccessfullytried to demolish the foundations of Islam, butthe most
formidable fitna this Deen had yet to face was the Wahabism of Najdis.
It is stated in a Hadith that our Beloved Prophet (S.A.W) has said,"In
the period prior to the Day of Judgement, false and deceitful groups
will emerge. They will say things to you, which neither you nor your
forefathers willhave heard before. Stay away from these deceitful
people and do not let them come near you! Do not be misguided by them
and do not let them cause strife amongst you!"
(Muslim Sharif)
The beliefs and practicesof Ahle Sunnah wal Jamaat are questioned by
other sects to be unauthentic and the seed of doubt is placed in the
minds of Muslims to encourage them to divert allegiance.
In this blessed month of Ramadan, Janathi Message aims to clearly
outline with evidence, what the Aqaid and practices of Ahle Sunnah wal
Jamaat are; from Shirk and Tauheed to proclaiming Ya Rasoolallah
(S.A.W) , from celebrating Milaad-un-Nabi (S.A.W) to reading Darood
Shareef before and after Azaan.
We intend to make you aware of some of the main deviated sects that
are present in our time and what beliefs they hold. We will clearly
highlight and expose theblasphemous beliefs held by these misguided
sects.
The biggest threat to Islam these days is from the Wahhaabi, Deobandi,
Tablighi and Salafi sects. This threat to an average Muslim is not
obvious at all. These days they want to call themselves Sunnis to
deceive innocent Muslims.
The physical appearanceof these renegades may deceive one as they
decorate their deceitful faces with the Sunnah ofthe beard and perform
compulsory acts such as Salaat, in a most convincing manner. However,
their corrupt beliefs prove that they have no love for the Beloved
Prophet (S.A.W) .
Other deviant sects such as the Shia's and Qadiani's have also
continued to propagate their deviant idiologies which have no Islamic
base. From blasphemous statements against Sahaba e Iqraam (R.A) , to
believe the existence of another Prophet are proven to contradict true
Aqaid.
Our purpose in preparing these topics isto present the truth based on
authentic evidence. We don't wantto expose the differences with view
to cause segregation in theUmmah, but rather to invite all to the true
teachings of Islam with aim of following the correct Aqaid and
practices of our beautiful Deen.

Holy Prophet (S.A.W) is Alive
Some people do not accept the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) to be alive. They
say that He is dead and mixed with the soil. Allahforbid!
The Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaat believes that the Holy Prophet (S.A.W)
is"Hayaatun Nabi", that is, He is alive both physically and
spiritually.
Regarding the Martyrs (Shuhada), Allah (S.W.T) mentions in the Holy
Quran: "And those who are killed for the cause of Allah do not call
them dead, Surely they are alive but you cannot perceive it." (Part 2,
Ayah 154)
Since it is evident from the Quran that the Martyrs, who are the
Umathi of the Prophet (S.A.W) are alive, then it follows that the
Ambiya (A.S) , whose status are much greater than that of the Martyrs,
are also alive.
Referring to the Messengers, Allah (S.W.T) says in the Holy Quran:
"And ask those of Our (Allah's) Rasools (Messengers), whom We sent
before you", 'Did We (Allah) appoint any other gods except Rahmaan
(the most Affectionate Allah) to be worshipped'?". (Part 25, Ruku 10 ,
Ayah 45)
This verse proves that the Ambiya (A.S) are alive because Allah
(S.W.T) commands us to ask the Messengers about all matters. If they
had passed away and mixed with the soil, surely, we would not have
been commanded to ask themabout anything. (Tafseer Dur Manthur;
Tafseer Roohul Muaani)
Another proof supporting that the Ambiya (A.S) are alive is that on
the night of Me'raj, the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) passed by Hazrat Musa
(A.S) . He saw him in his grave standing and reading his Salaah.
The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) said, "Recite Darood upon Me in abundance on
a Friday since it is a respected day.
On that day the Angels are present and whosoever sends Darood upon me
on thatday, then his Darood is placed before me till the time when
they have completed sending Darood and Salaam".
Hazrat Abu Dardah (R.A) says, "I asked, 'Huzoor! Will you even hear
(the Salaam) after your demise?'" The Prophet (S.A.W) said, "Verily
Almighty Allah has made it Haraam upon the earth to devour the bodies
of the Ambiya (A.S) . Thus, all the Nabis of Allah are alive and they
are given sustenance." (Ibn Majah; Mishkaat Shareef)
We learn from this Hadith Shareef that the Ambiya (A.S) are alive and
they have only been hidden from us.
We cannot understand their position, like those of the Angels (i.e.
that they are alive and present but we cannot see them). However those
who have been blessed by Allah (S.W.T) caneven see them
say that He is dead and mixed with the soil. Allahforbid!

Holy Prophet (S.A.W) hears from Both Near and Afar
Some people whose Aqeeda is that the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) cannot hear
anything from a distance. They say that He (S.A.W) only hears the
voices of his Ummah who are in Madinah tul Munawwarah and that He
(S.A.W) can only hear the Darood Shareef that is recited there. They
saythat if a person believes that the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) can hear
from bothnear and far, then he is committing Shirk or Polytheism (i.e.
associating partners with Allah (S.W.T) ).
Below are a few of manyexamples, to highlight that those people who
have belief like the ones mentioned above, are completely wrong in
their thinking.
Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (S.A.W) was making Wudu for Tahajjud Salaah at
the home of Hazrat Maimuna (R.A) . He (S.A.W) suddenly called out
three times, "Labbaik, Labbaik, Labbaik!" (Here I am) and "Nusirtu,
Nusirtu, Nusirtu!" (I helped you). After sayingthis, He (S.A.W)
remained where He was and did not leave that place.
Hazrat Maimuna (R.A) further said: "When the Prophet (S.A.W) completed
His Wudu, I asked Him why He had called out those words". He (S.A.W)
replied: "Raajiz was calling me".
What actually happened was that the Quraish wanted to kill Hazrat Umar
bin Saalim Raajiz (R.A) as he was on the road leading to Madinatul
Munawwarah. He (R.A) called out: "O Nabi (S.A.W) ! Help me or else the
enemies will kill me!" Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (S.A.W) responded to his
call from home and saved him from death. (Baihaqi; Tibrani)
This Hadith Shareef proves four points:
(A) Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (S.A.W) is observing his Ummah.
(B) It is Ja'iz (Permissible)to call the Prophet (S.A.W) for help.
(C) Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (S.A.W) can hear the call of his Ummah.
(D) Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (S.A.W) can help those in distress,
regardless of distance.
While addressing the Sahaba (R.A) , Rasoolullah (S.A.W) proclaimed:
"What I see you cannot see, andwhat I hear you cannot hear." (Tirmidhi
Shareef)
In another Hadith it states that when a person recites Darood Shareef,
an Angel takes it and presents it before Almighty Allah. Allah
Almighty says, "Take it tothe Mazaar of my Beloved servant, Muhammad
(S.A.W) so that he may make Du'a-e-Bakhshish for the personwho sent
the Darood and he may gain coolness in his eyes".
From this Hadith Shareefit is obvious that the Darood Shareef is first
taken to Allah (S.W.T) , and then presented in the court of the Holy
Prophet (S.A.W) .
Some people argue that if the Prophet (S.A.W) hears the Darood, then
what need is there for the Angels to present it to Him?
This argument is baseless, as it is not only contradicting the power
of hearing of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) , but it is also contradicting
the power of Hearing of Allah (S.W.T) as well, since the Darood
Shareef is first presented in the Court of Allah (S.W.T) . Doesthis
Ma'az-Allah mean that Allah (S.W.T) cannot hear from near and afar?

anything from a distance.

Health - ADHD 'is not bad behaviour'
A child is being disruptivein the classroom - not paying attention,
talking and annoying those around him. Does he haveAttention-deficit
hyperactivity disorder? Oris he simply badly-behaved?
It is a question many parents may have asked themselves about their
child or about someone else's.
But experts say if parents think their child may haveADHD, they are
probably right.
Bad behaviour is intermittent and often premeditated, experts say.
Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, onthe other hand, affects a
child in all aspects of its life.
So a child letting off steam and running around the house when they
come home from school is not a problem initself.
But if teachers are also reporting they are failing to pay attention
in the classroom, and they do not seem to have many friends it may be
that they do need a specialist assessment.
'No clue'
Andrea Bilbow. chief executive of the charity ADDISS, (The National
Attention Deficit Disorder Information and Support Service), which
helps families affected by the condition, says ADHD "is not about a
badly-behaved child".
She adds: "It's about a problem in the brain which means a child
can'tregulate their behaviour or emotion. They don't learn from their
mistakes and they can't plan or organise, and they have difficulties
with their short-term memory.
"The bad-behaviour label is just used by people who don't have a clue."
Ms Bilbow, who has a child with ADHD herself, said parents are aware
there is something wrongfrom an early age.
"Even when he was at nursery I knew. You hope things will improve,
even though you know really that they won't."
Professor Tim Kendall who oversaw the compilation of guidelines on
treating ADHD for the National Institute for health and Clinical
Excellence (NICE), said:"When parents are saying'this is getting
really difficult and nursery or school is saying the child is
difficult to look after, then it's time to get an assessment."
But the arguments around ADHD aren't solelyfocussed on the diagnosis.
There is also debate about what causes it.
The latest research suggests it is linked, at least in some cases, to
a genetic fault.
Drug debate
But even the researcher behind the study say theirfinding will not
explain all cases of ADHD, and thata child's environment alsomatters.
Peter Hill, an honorary consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital and
ADHD expert, said linking the condition to genetic factors was not new
- and was certainly not the whole answer.
"We've known there was a link for the last 20 years. What this study
has done is shown what kind of genetic abnormalities might be
involved.
"But there are both genetic and environmental causes, and their
environmental factors are many."
Professor Kendall agreed genes and environment both played a part and
warned it would be wrong to focus solely on genetics.
He warned" It does relieve some people because they think 'it's not my
fault - my child was just born like this'.
"The important thing is making sure these kids get really good
treatment. If people thinkit's just a biological problem they will
only look for biological solutions - medications."
He said the first option for a child should be to try and help them
manage their behaviour and support for them in the classroom. Parents
can also learn methods of managing their child's behaviour, such as
introducing strict routines.
Only in severe cases should drugs like Ritalin be used, he added.
However, whether or not to use medication is yet another area that
causes argument.
Andrea Antunes, whose son takes daily medication for his ADHD, said it
had changed his life.
"He's doing well at school. He's also making friends and being invited
to parties - which he wasn't before.
"Who am I to deprive himof that?"

Health - ADHD treatment 'mayreduce risk of criminal behaviour'
People with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder who are involved
in crime are less likely to reoffend when on treatment than not, a
Swedish study shows.
Earlier studies suggest people with ADHD are more likely to commit
offences than the general population.
Providing better access to medication may reduce crime and save money,
experts and support groups say.
Researchers say the benefits of the drugs must be weighed against harms.
In the UK 3% of childrenhave a diagnosis of ADHD, with half of them
continuing to have the condition in adult life.
People with the disorder have to deal with problems with
concentration, hyperactivity and impulsiveness.
Estimates suggest between 7-40% of people in the criminal justice
system may haveADHD and other similar disorders, though in many cases
the condition is not formally recognised.
We want people to have personal choice...no one is trying to force
peopleto take drugs
Prof Philip Asherson, Psychiatrist
Researchers from the Karolinska Institute looked at data from over
25,000 people with ADHD in Sweden.
Less impulsiveness
They found people withADHD were more likely to commit crime (37% of
men and 15% of women) than adults without the condition (9% of men and
2% women).
The study published in the New England Journal of Medicine found when
people took their medication they were 32-41% less likely to be
convicted ofa crime than when theywere off medication fora period of
six months or more.
Dr Seena Fazel, an author of the study and from Oxford University,
says medication may reduce impulsive choices and may enablepeople to
better organise their lives - allowing them to stay inemployment and
maintain relationships.
Co-author Prof Paul Lichtenstein says: "It is said that roughly 30 to
40% of long-serving criminals have ADHD. If their chances of
recidivism can be reduced by 30%, it would clearly affect the total
crime numbers in many societies."
'Personal responsibility'
Prof Philip Asherson, a psychiatrist and president of the UK Adult
ADHD network, who was not involved in the study says: "We want people
to have personal choice and personal responsibility -no-one is trying
to force people to take drugs."
He points out it costs £100-£300 a month to provide medication for
someone with ADHD, and taking into accountthe costs of unemployment
and the criminal justice system, these would "vastly outweigh" the
costs of medication, he says.
The authors caution that the side effects of the drugs used, such as
Ritalin, must be taken into account.
"There are of course a lot of people with ADHD in the population who
are not involved in crime.
"But for some people with the condition - if you don't treat them,
they will try to treat themselves with street drugs," says Andrea
Bilbow, founder of the National Attention Deficit Disorder Information
and Support Service, Addis.
"A referral to specialist adult services can cost £1,500 - compare
this with the amount of money you can save if you keep people out of
prison - it's a no brainer."
'Better support'
The researchers looked at a variety of crimes - from petty crime to
violent crime, finding a reduction in all of thesewhen people took
medication.
They acknowledge when offered medication, individuals may also get
more attention from other support services - this could contribute to
the reduction in criminal behaviour.
Prof Sue Bailey, president of the Royal College of Psychiatry,
welcomes the study saying it "reminds us in an era of psychological
therapies that medication can have a positive impact too".
The authors of the study point out ADHD can exist alongside other
conditions such as conduct disorders, calling for further work to
untangle the contribution these may make to criminal behaviour.
They feel the Swedish findings are applicable to the UK and much of
Western Europe where rates of ADHD in children and the medication
prescribed are broadly similar.

Signs of the Hour - What are the questions that a person will be asked on the Day of Resurrection?
Could u please tell us relating the 'Day of judgement' it's
tortures, the questions that wud be asked.
Praise be to Allaah.
It is proven in the Qur'aan and Sunnah thatwhen a person dies, he will
be called to account for every major and minor action he did in this
world, whether it was good or bad. He willbe rewarded for his good
deeds and punished for his bad deeds. The first stage of that
reckoning is in the grave. In the grave the first thing a person will
be asked will be: Who was your Lord? What is your religion? Who is
this man who was sent amongst you? – as was narrated in the hadeeth of
al-Baraa' ibn 'Aazib (may Allaah be pleased with him), which was
narrated by Abu Dawoodin his Sunan (4753) and classed as saheeh by
al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood, 2979.
Then on the Day of Resurrection he will be brought to account for
every major and minor action, even though he has already been brought
to account for that in the grave. The first thing for which he will be
brought to account for then will be his prayer.
It was narrated from AbuHurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings
of Allaah be upon him) said: "The first thing among their deeds for
which the people will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection
will be prayer. Our Lord will say to His angels, although He knows
best, 'Look at My slave's prayer, is it complete or lacking?' If it is
complete, it will be recorded as complete, but if it is lacking, He
willsay, 'Look and see whether my slave did any voluntary (naafil)
prayers.' If he had done voluntary prayers, He will say, 'Complete the
obligatory prayers of My slave from his voluntary prayers.' Then the
rest ofhis deeds will be examined in a similar manner."
(Narrated by Abu Dawood, 864; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in
Saheeh Abi Dawood, 770).
On the Day of Resurrection, people willbe asked about other matters,
including the following:
It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) that
the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The
sonof Adam will not be dismissed from before his Lord on the Day of
Resurrection until he hasbeen questioned about five things: his life
and how he spent it, his youth and how he used it, his wealth and how
he earned it and how hedisposed of it, and how he acted upon what he
acquired of knowledge."
(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi,2422; classed as hasan byal-Albaani in Saheeh
al-Tirmidhi, 1969)
And the nations will be asked on the Day of Resurrection:
"What answer gave you to the Messengers?"
[al-Qasas 28:65 – interpretation of the meaning]
These are some of the things about which people will be asked on the
Day of Resurrection. So the wise person who is keen to save himself

Signs of the Hour - The fate of kuffaar who did not hear the message of Islam
Someone has asked me this question (she is about to
become a muslimah). Her statement: 'A lot of others will never meet a
Muslim in person. Will they be held responsible for their ignorance?
What exactly does this mean: "After the revelation of the Quran who
ever receives this message & does not abide by it is a non-believer"?
i. Who is considered to have received the message?
ii. Isn't it possible for people to have not received the message even
though the Quran is in existence?'
Praise be to Allaah.
It is part of the justice of Allaah that He does not punish any people
until He has first sent a warning to them and unless there is evidence
against them. Allaah does not treat anybody unfairly. Allaah says
(interpretation of the meaning): "… And We never punish until We have
sent a Messenger (to give warning)." [al-Israa' 17:15].
In his tafseer (commentary) on this aayah, Ibn Katheer (may Allaah
have mercy on him) said: "These words, '…And We never punish until We
have sent a Messenger (to give warning)' tell us of the justice of
Allaah, may He be exalted, and that He does not punish anyone until
after He has established evidence against him by sending aMessenger to
him. This islike the aayat (interpretation of the meaning): '… Every
time a group is cast therein [into Hell], its keeper willask, "Did no
warner come to you?" They will say, "Yes indeed; a warner did come to
us, but we belied him and said: 'Allaah never sent down anything (of
revelation), you are only in great error.'"' [al-Mulk67:8] and: 'And
those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups, till, when
they reach it, the gates thereof will be opened (suddenly like a
prison at the arrival of its prisoners). And its keepers will say,
"Did not the Messengers come to you from yourselves, - reciting to you
the Verses of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of this Day of
yours?" They will say: "Yes, but the Word of torment has been
justified against the disbelievers!"' [al-Zumar 39:71]…"
A person who has never heard of Islam or the Prophet SAWS (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him), and who has never heard the message
in its correct and true form, will not be punished by Allaah if he
dies in a state of kufr (disbelief). If it were asked what his fate
will be, the answer will be that Allaah will test him on the Day of
Resurrection: if he obeys, he will enter Paradise and if he disobeys
he will enter Hell. The evidence (daleel) for this is the hadeeth of
al-Aswad ibn Saree', who reported that the Prophet of Allaah SAWS
(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "There are four (who
will protest) to Allaah on the Day of Resurrection: the deaf man who
never heard anything, the insane man, the very old man, and the man
who died during the fatrah (the interval between the time of 'Eesaa
(Jesus, upon whom be peace) and the time of Muhammad SAWS (peaceand
blessings of Allaah be upon him)). The deaf man will say, 'O Lord,
Islam came but I never heard anything.' The insane man will say, 'O
Lord, Islam came but the children ran after me and threw stones at
me.'The very old man will say, 'O Lord, Islam came but I did not
understand anything.' The man who died during the fatrah will say, 'O
Lord, no Messenger from You came to me.' He will accept their promises
of obedience, then word will be sent to them to enter the Fire. By the
One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if they enter it, it will
be cool and safe for them."
According to another report, he said: "Whoever enters it, it will be
cool and safe for him, and whoever does not enter it will be dragged
to it." (The hadeeth was reported by Imaam Ahmad and Ibn Hibbaan, and
deemed saheeh by al-Albaani, Saheeh al-Jaami', 881).
Everyone who hears the message of Islam in a sound and correct form
(and rejects it), will haveevidence aginst him. Whoever dies without
having heard the message, or having heard it in a distorted form, then
his case is in the hands of Allaah. Allaah knows best about His
creation, and He will never treat anyone unfairly. And Allaah is
All-Seer of His slaves.

Signs of the Hour - Reconciling between the reports that Jibreel, Adam and Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon them) sawParadise, and the hadeeth “… that which no eye has seen…”
It is well known that in Paradise there is that which no eye has seen
and no ear has heard, but wasn't Adam in Paradise? Didn't the Prophet
(blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) enter Paradise too?.
Praise be to Allaah.
Firstly:
It was narrated from AbuHurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that
the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "Allaah
says: 'I have prepared for My righteous slaves that which no eye has
seen, no ear has heard and it has never crossed the mind of man. All
of that is reserved, besides which all that you have known is as
nothing.' Then he recited: 'No person knows what is kept hidden for
them of joy as a reward for whatthey used to do' [al-Sajdah 32:17 –
interpretation of the meaning]."
Narrated by al-Bukhaari (3072) and Muslim (2824) -- the report
narrated by Muslim adds:"apart from that of which Allaah has informed
you."
Secondly:
With regard to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)
seeing Paradise and entering it, that is proven in many hadeeths. Imam
al-Bukhaari, in his book al-Sharee'ah, quoted some of these hadeeths
under the chapter heading Baab Dukhool al-Nabi (sall Allahu 'alayhi wa
sallam) al-Jannah (The Prophet'sentering Paradise) in which he
narrated several hadeeths, including the following:
It was narrated from Anas ibn Maalik that the Prophet (blessings and
peace of Allah be upon him) said: Whilst I was walking in Paradise, I
saw a river whose bankswere domes of hollow pearls." I said, "What is
this, O Jibreel?" He said: "This is al-Kawthar which your Lord has
given to you." The angel struck it with his hand and its mud or its
perfume was of the mostfragrant (or pure) musk.
Narrated by al-Bukhaari (6201).
According to another report: When the Prophet (blessings and peace of
Allah be upon him) was taken up to heaven (the Mi'raaj), [he said:] I
came to a river whose banks …
According to a version narrated in Musnad Ahmad (19/66): "I entered
Paradise and saw a river whose bankswere pavilions of pearls."
Thirdly:
With regard to the issue mentioned by the questioner, it may be said:
This that has been prepared in Paradise for the righteous slaves of
Allah has not been seen by anyone, as it states in the texts. As for
what Adam and our Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be
upon them) saw, it was only part of in Paradise because Paradise, "in
which there is that which no eye has seen" is not necessarily that
which no one has ever seen. Rather it may be that there are in it
things that some eyes have seen, even though there is in it that which
is stored up and hidden, no eye has seen it and no ear has heard, and
noone can imagine it or describe it.
Perhaps the above meaning is supported bythe hadeeth of al-Mugheerah
ibn Shu'bah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of
Allah be upon him) said: "Moosa asked his Lord: 'Who will be the
lowest of the people of Paradise in status?' He said: 'He will be a
man who will come after I have admitted the people of Paradise to
Paradise and it will be said to him: "Enter Paradise." He will say: "O
Lord, how, when the people have taken their places and been given
their portions?" It will besaid to him: "Would it please you if you
had the like of what one of the kings of the world had?" He will say:
"I would be pleased, O Lord." He will say, "You will have that, and as
much again, and as much again, and as much again, and as much again."
The fifth time, he will say, "I am pleased, O Lord." He will say: "You
will have that and ten times as much, and you will have what your
heart desires and what will delight your eyes." He will say: "I am
pleased, O Lord."' (Moosa) said: 'My Lord, who will be the highest of
them in status?' He said, 'They will be the ones whom I have chosen,
and I have planted their honour with My own hand. I have set a seal
over it and no eye has seen, no ear has heard, nor has it entered the
heart of man.'" He said: And the confirmation thereof is in the Book
of Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted: "No person knows what is
kept hidden for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do"
[al-Sajdah 32:17].
Narrated by Muslim, 189.
It is as if those who are highest in status are those who have the
greatest share of this hidden treasure and blessing that no eye has
seen and no mind has imagined.
And Allah knows best.

The tongue of a chamelon is faster than a jet plane
It is quite difficult to distinguish a stick grasshopper from the
branches. A mantis is getting ready to prey upon a stick grasshopper.
At the same time, the flawless master of camoflauge, one of the most
fascinating of the Creations of Allah, the gecko is watching them
both by blending itself into the tree.
Although the gecko seems to catch the mantis easily, there is another
hunter which is not even observed : the chamelon.
The chamelon has a unique pair of legs and feet which enables it to
very move silently. It is almost impossible to see the chamelon
because ofits ability to change the color of its skin in accordance to
the environment. The chamelon's eyes can move independently from each
other in any direction. Thus, they can see their prey which is not
directly in their line of sight.
This chamelon also possesses a tongue that it can use as an arrow
byflinging the tongue rapidly from its mouth. The chamelons tongue can
move five times faster than the speed of a jet plane. Via its tongue,
the chamelon hits its prey and the tongue sticks to its prey by
forming a powerful vacuum effect.
The thing that accelerates the chamelon tongue is at least 10 slippery
rings of muscles between the tongue and hyoid bone. Those muscle
rings slip from their normal place and they closely press together
and they push the tongue forward. By means of this mechanism the
tongue pops out with a velocity of 1,5 meters per second. At the time
of the jactus, the hairs of the tongue dissociate from each other and
the tongue reaches to its maximum lenght. During firing; the tongue
stretches up to 6 times from its standby position; and it also
stretches up to one and a half times the body length of the cameleon .
After firing the system quickly regroups and reverts back to normal.
It is obvious that the form of these muscle rings cannot be explained
by the theory of evolution in any way. Dr. Brad Harrub, a scientist
who supports Creation, asks those questions which forms great dilemas
to the evolutionists in his article:
1) How come each of themuscle rings evolved in the right position?
2) How has the tongue enlarged to that lenght?
3)How did the accelerating muscles emerge?
4) How can the muscle rings coordinate their movements in such a way
as to allow the tongue to reach its maximum lenght?
5) How did the muscle rings develop the ability of ' dissociating from
each other like the tubesof a telescope'?
6) How could the chamelon learn and carry out re-collecting allof the
necessary muscular movements after flinging the tongue?
7) If the ability to fire the tongue is a gain as an evolutionary
benefit, why hasn't that benefit yet evolved in other animals, and
why haven't other animals haven't employed a similar hunting method?
8) How has the chamelon (or its so-called evolutionary predecessor)
survived while all of those complex systems are supposed to evolve
little by little?
Undoubtedly; He is The Almighty Allah, He is the One Who Creates the
chamelon by all its features, and He is Omniscient, Mighty and Exalted
in Power. Allah informs us in a verse from the Qur'an Verse thusly:
"And verily in cattle (too)will you find an instructive sign. From what
is within their bodies between excretions and blood, We produce, for
your drink, milk, pure and agreeable to those who drink it."

The ideological basis of the Rwandan Genocide is rooted in Darwin's theory of evolution
The theory of evolution bases the development of living things on a
"struggle for survival" that exists in nature. According to the
founder of the theory, Charles Darwin, there is a ruthless fight for
survival and permanent conflict in nature. The strong invariably
eliminate the weak, and progress is only possible in this way.
Darwinism longs for a world in which human beings live and behave like
animals. When this Darwinist law of the jungle is applied to
societies, conflict and war between races and nations are inevitable.
War, killing, mass murder and barbarity in many parts of the world
assumed a scientific guise, and the 20th Century was one of pain and
ruthlessness.
Darwin's writings about "the protection of favored races," and
especially the unscientific claims in his book The Descent of Man,
supported the German error of the superiority of the alleged Aryan
race and the British idea of the superiority of the Anglo Saxons.
The mass murder of approximately 40 million people by the Nazis and
their racially driven program of systematic genocide during the Second
World War, the former apartheid systemin South Africa and the racial
discrimination against black people in the USA and the aboriginal
peoples in Australia all drew strength from the support that Darwinism
supposedly provided for racism.
How can those who say, "These ideologies are things of the past" or
"There is no longer any need to tell people of the invalidity of the
theory of evolution" ignore the fact that in Rwanda in 1994 some
800,000 Hutus and Tutsis died in 100 days as a result of skull-based
racism?
The roots of the Rwandan genocide go back to the Belgian colonization
of the country in the wake of World War I. It was claimed in those
days, on the supposed scientific basis of Darwin's theory of
evolution, that the people living in the region of Rwanda were an
intermediate race between the Aryan race and negroes, who were
regarded as an inferior race. Skull measurements were taken, common
linguistic, traditional and ethnic similarities between the Rwandan
Hutus and Tutsis were ignored and an artificial policy of racial
discrimination was followed.
In order to foment racialdiscrimination, Belgian administrators
enforced ethnic identity cards andgave everyone a card onwhich his or
her ethnicity was written. These racially-based practices between
Hutus and Tutsis from 1930 to 1994 brought the background conflict in
the country to a peak. And despite a concerted last-minute UN
intervention in 1994, 800,000 Rwandans lost their lives in just 100
days.
The documentary " Shake Hands With The Devil; The Journey of Romeo
Dallaire" , in which the commander of the UN Peace Force during the
genocide describes those events, describes how the racism in the
region wassupported by Darwinist circles:
"The problem that essentially was created by the Belgians, who had
this country as a colony, and through their whole etnictiy, exercise,
and their antropologists who had gone on a wild sphere ofidiotic
theories and sizesof heads and this and that, and the administrators
included the ethnicity on the ID cards. And then that splits the
country and identifies you as elements of difference.
"I understand the intense ethnic hatred weren't really in the soulof
Hutus and Tutsis but were encouraged by theemperial powers over the
years."
According to Social Darwinism, people's skulls need to be measured and
classifications made on that basis. Under this twisted way of
thinking, members of supposed inferior classes must be ruthlessly
eliminated and exploited. For these people, who believe thatonly when
such savageryis applied can human beings and societies progress, and
massacres, genocide, cruelty and ruthlessness on that pathare to be
regarded as successes. People, societies, cultures and nations that
fail to achieve that success must be eliminated.
This is without doubt a most twisted and dangerous way of thinking.
The dangers ofDarwinism must not be ignored. We must not forget that
Darwinism and social models based on Darwinism have inflicted the most
awful tragedies on mankind. But the moral values commanded by Allah
and revealed in the Qur'an will always bring with them well-being,
peace and tranquility.
If the pains of the last century are finally to come to an end in the
21st Century, and if this century is to be one of peace, then an end
must be put to dogmatic Darwinist education.

Everything in the Universe tends to be Covered
Allaah The Almighty safeguarded the Earth with the atmosphere before
women lived on it wearing Hijaab (Islamic covering). The Earth with its
atmosphere; alltypes of living cells; and all parts of the plants
ranging from seeds to fruits – are all covered.
A caterpillar starts its life in a cocoon; the skin covers the organs;
a corpse is shrouded in white pieces of cloth; and then buried under
the earth, men and women alike.
Inanimate objects are veiled:
A sword is kept in its sheath. When a pen loses its cap; its ink dries
up; it becomes useless and is thrown away to be trodden on,because it
lost its cap, which is the source of its protection. Why do our
children bind their books and notebooks? Is it to waste time or to
protect them? You putyour head on a pillow which is kept clean because
of its case that protects it from dirt.
Living beings are veiled:
The cell is surrounded with double membranes, inside and outside, to
protect it and regulate the activity of its components.
• The plant cell
It is surrounded by a thick wall which supports it even after death.
• The animal cell
Vertebral cells exist in holes; bone cells are located in tubes; the
female ova is kept in the ovaries; the neurons (nerve cells) are long
and sheathed, so that they are protected from damage and being cut.
Every cell has its own cover; similarly, a woman has to have her
distinctive cover (Hijaab).
Plants are veiled:
• The seed
Soil is the veil of the seed; it shelters the seed from the sunshine.
The seed lives in darkness in order to grow. The shell is a second
cover followed by a third one. The root has a growing top covered by a
cap whereby the root penetrates the soil.
Deep soil is better for the seed than the surface. Similarly, when a
woman covers herself, she rejects superficiality and thrives
spiritually; when she discards herHijaab, she brings evil upon herself
and spreads corruption among the Ummah (Muslim nation).
• The flower
The pistil is in the center of the blossom and is surrounded by petals
that protect it. Allaah The Almighty protects the pistil in this way.
Is the woman not entitled to such protection? Whatare the means of
this protection? Is not a woman who discards theHijaab like a beautiful
flower, looking dazzling in her adornment, spreading her fragrance,
and attracting all kindsof creatures towards it? But all flowers
wither and mix with the dust – the difference is that the flower has
no reckoning, but human beings do. Would you likethis end?
• The fruit
Consider: What happens to an apple when you cut part of it andleave
it? Why does a banana turn black after peeling it?
Animals are veiled:
• Sea animals
In the sea, we find various types of corals, shells and snails – all
of them form covers to guard mollusks. Surely, blessed Is Allaah, The
Creator, The Originator and The Fashioner!
• Land animals
The butterfly passes through different stages of development. It
receives a great command from the Allaah The Almighty, that it carries
it out. It secretes sticky threads, spins them, and weaves them to
produce a veil for the developing pupae inside acocoon.
If an unthinking creature obeys the orders of Allaah the Almighty, then
how can a woman who is favored with reason and logic disobey Allaah
The Almighty?
Reptiles have scales; a hedgehog has sharp spines; a turtle carries a
big, heavy shell on its back throughout its life. A turtle has the
heaviest veil that bears witness to its patience. Which woman has the
most precious Hijaab? A woman who spends a fortune on a showy, costly
Hijaab which itself needs to be covered with another Hijaab in order
to be Islamically acceptable; or the modest garb of a woman who
desires the dress of Paradise?
Covers vary from one animal to another, and they may vary among the
same species according to the needs of the animal.
Young birds are protected by the fragile shell of the egg that can
easily break. So, women should not claim that Hijaab is merely a piece
of cloth, for this piece of cloth is sufficient to protect you –Allaah
willing. Eggs hatch, letting chicks come out with light fluffy hair
which later develop into longfeathers that protect the bird.
Humans are veiled:
Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {He creates you in the wombs of
your mothers, creationafter creation, within three darknesses.} [Quran
39:6]
• The fetus in its mother's womb
The fetus remains safe in its mother's womb for nine months, and the
womb is surrounded by membranes and layers. The threetypes of darkness
are: darkness of the placenta, darkness of the womb's wall, and
darkness of thewalls of the belly.
These membranes provide the fetus with comfort, security, foodand oxygen.
• Veils in the man's body
The diaphragm exists in the bodyand separates the heart and the lungs
from the rest of the organs. It perfectly performs its function
because it is thick, and neither light nor transparent.
On the contrary a woman's Hijaabnowadays is light and revealing the
details of the body. Not only is the woman's Hijaab transparent, but
it is also revealing – as if it were designed to allure, not to
conceal – thus, belying its very purpose.
• The skeleton
It consists of a hard, protective skull where the brain is located.
The brain is the man's treasure, because it is the site of the mental
faculties which distinguish him from animals, and it is located
securely inside a bony container. A skillful doctor'slancet cannot
reach it except after sawing the skull. It is a mighty safe given to
the rich and the poor, and is similar to an ironsafe where precious
jewels are kept. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {…And in
yourselves. Then will you not see?} [Quran 51:21]
• The heart
The heart is like a gift wrapped inmultiple layers. There are five
soldiers guarding it: the pericardium, which is light; two soft lungs
surrounding it; a breastbone securely containing them; muscles and
tissues garmenting the breastbone; all ofwhich is covered with
protective skin. Likewise, the mercy, love and wisdom of our Lord
encirclesus, so He legislated Hijaab for us.
• The eye
The eye is the most valuable itemman possesses. It is like a ball that
fits in the eye sockets to protect it from injury. A woman, like the
eye, puts on Hijaab to guard herself from being exploited as a sex
object. People who misuse the faculties grantedby Allaah The Almighty
start with an unlawful look at a non-Mahram (marriageable) woman,
followed by a smile, then a greeting, then a conversation, then a
date, then a meeting, then impermissible exposure of adornments and
freeintermixing. The result usually is committing unlawful sex,
diseases, shame, destruction, andfinally torment in Hell. Allaah The
Almighty Says (what means): {Tellthe believing men to reduce [some] of
their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them.}
[Quran 24:30]
• The skin
The skin is a thick tissue which covers the body entirely and hides
the bones, muscles, blood vessels, and so on. Let the woman imagine:
If the skin had been transparent and showing what is under it, what
would people have looked like? Allaah The Almighty Says (what means):
{We have certainly created man in the best of stature.} [Quran 95:4]
You sterilize the wounds on your skin in order to protect your body;
however, Hijaab protects both your body and soul. How could you
carelessly and indifferently discard it? With yourHijaab, you are a
representative of Islam, a role model for others, and a guide for the
whole world to the existence of a great religion.
With Hijaab, you are a protected jewel, and without it, you are likea
sweet left uncovered for flies toland on. Are you a commodity forsale,
or a corpse on which bacteria and worms gather? No. By Allaah, you are
a well-protected pearl.
So, put on your Hijaab, because everything in the Universe is covered.
Do not behave at odds with laws of the Universe, for deviation leads
to The Fire.

women lived on it wearing Hijaab (Islamic covering). The Earth with its
atmosphere; alltypes of living cells; and all parts of the plants
ranging from seeds to fruits – are all covered.
A caterpillar starts its life in a cocoon; the skin covers the organs;
a corpse is shrouded in white pieces of cloth; and then buried under
the earth, men and women alike.

She got pregnant before she started to make up missed fasts, and she cannot fast
My wife owed some daysthat she did not fast last Ramadaan because of
her menses, but before she formed the intentionto fast those days
beforethe next Ramadaan, she got pregnant, and the doctor told her
that she should not fast at all during her pregnancy and possibly
during the breastfeeding period too, because of her general weakness
and fearing for the foetus. Hence she will not be able to fast these
days. What should she do about these days? What should she do if she
cannot make up the daysof the next Ramadaan before the following
Ramadaan comes?.
Praise be to Allaah.
Allaah has given the one who missed some fasts because of a legitimate
excuse until the following Ramadaan to make up those fasts, but the
Muslim should not use this as an excuse to delay making them up,
because he may be facedwith some need or changes that make it toohard
for him to make them up or prevent him from doing so, especiallywomen
who may become pregnant, or be faced with menstruationand nifaas
(postpartum bleeding).
Whoever delays making up the fast with no legitimate excuse until
there is very little time left, then Sha'ban ends and he has not made
up the fasts he owes, is sinning, but if he has an excuse then there
is no sin on him. In either casehe has to make up those fasts after
the second Ramadaan. Some scholars stated that he also has to feed one
poor person for each day. If he is able to do that then that is on the
safe side, otherwise making up the missed fasts is sufficient.

Shaykh Muhammad Saalih al-'Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him)
was asked: Whatis the ruling on one whodelays making up missedfasts
until the next Ramadaan comes?
He replied:
Delaying making up missed Ramadaan fasts until the next Ramadaan comes
is not permissible according to the most well known scholarly opinion,
because 'Aa'ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: "Iwould owe
Ramadaan fasts and I would not be able to make them up except in
Sha'baan." Thisindicates that there is noconcession after the second
Ramadaan. If a person does that with no excuse, then he is sinning,
and he must hasten to make up thosefasts after the second Ramadaan.
The scholars differed as to whether he must also feed the poor or not.
The correct view is that he does not have to feed the poor as well,
because Allaah says(interpretation of the meaning):
"but if any of you is ill oron a journey, the same number (should be
made up) from other days"
[al-Baqarah 2:184]
Thus Allaah did not enjoin anything on people in this situation apart
from making up the missed fasts.
Majmoo' Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen, 19, question no. 357.
The Shaykh was also asked:
A woman did not fast some days of Ramadaan last year, then she made
them up at the end of Sha'baan. Then her period came and lasted until
Ramadaan began this year, and she still had one day to make up.What
should she do?
He replied:
She has to make up that day that she was not able to make up before
Ramadaan began this year. When this Ramadaan ends, she has to make up
what she missed from the Ramadaan of the previous year.
Majmoo' Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen, 19, question no. 358.
And he was asked:
A woman did not fast during Ramadaan because of nifaas (postpartum
bleeding), and she was not able to make up the fasts beforethe next
Ramadaan came because of breastfeeding. What should she do?
He replied:
This woman should fast and make up the days that she missed, even if
that comes after the second Ramadaan, because she was unable to make
up the fasts between the first and second Ramadaans for legitimate
reasons. But ifit is not difficult for her to make up the fasts during
the winter, even if she does it day after day, then she has to do
that, even if she is breastfeeding. She should strive to do whatever
she can to make up the missed Ramadaan fasts before the next Ramadaan
comes. If she cannot manage to do that then there is no sin on her if
she delays it until the next Ramadaan.
Majmoo' Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen, 19/ question no. 360.
To sum up: These days remain a debt which your wife owes, and which
she must make upwhenever she can.

What is meant by learning by heart the beautiful names of Allah, may He be exalted
What is meant by the phrase "whoever learns them by heart will enter Paradise"?.
Praise be to Allaah.
Al-Bukhaari (2736) and Muslim (2677) narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may
Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of
Allah be upon him) said: "Allah has ninety-nine names, one hundred
lessone. Whoever learns them by heart will enter Paradise."
"Leaning by heart", which is mentioned in the hadeeth, implies the following:
1. Memorising them
2. Understanding theirmeaning
3. Acting in accordance with the meanings. So if a person knows
that He is One, he does not associate anything else with Him. If he
knows that He is the Provider (ar-Razzaaq), he does not seek provision
from anyone other than Him. If he knows that He is Most Merciful
(ar-Raheem), then he does acts of obedience and worship that are
themeans of attaining this mercy… and so on.
4. Calling upon Him by these names, as He, may He be glorified and
exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): "And (all) the Most
Beautiful Names belong to Allah, so call on Him by them' [al-A'raaf
7:180]. So he might say: O Most Merciful (Ya Rahmaan), have mercy on
me; O Oft-forgiving (Ya Ghafoor), forgive me; O Accepter of repentance
(Ya Tawwaab), accept my repentance, and so on.
Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-'Uthaymeen said: Learning them by heart
does not mean writing them down on a piece of paper then repeating
them until one has memorised them. Rather what it means is:
Firstly: learning how to pronounce the names
Secondly: understandingtheir meanings.
Thirdly: worshipping Allah in accordance with what they signify,
whichinvolves two things:
(i) Calling upon Allah by them, because He, may He be
exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): "… so call on Him by
them" [al-A'raaf 7:180], to that they may become a means of attaining
whatyou seek, so choose a name that is appropriateto what you seek.
When asking for forgiveness, say: O Oft-forgiving (Ya Ghafoor),
forgive me. It is not appropriate to say:O You Who are stern in
punishment (Ya Shadeedal-'Iqaab), forgive me; rather that is more akin
to mockery. What you should say (if you call upon Allah by this
name)is: Save me from Your punishment.
(ii) In your acts ofworship you should do iswhat is
implied by these names. What is implied by the name ar-Raheem (Most
Merciful) is mercy, so do righteous deeds that will bring the mercyof
Allah. This is what is meant by learning them by heart; if it is done
likethis, then it deserves to be the price of admission to Paradise.

Paradise - Jannah - Conversations in Paradise
They will say: "Praise be to Allah, Who has removed all sadness from
us. Truly our Lord isEver-Forgiving, Ever-Thankful: He Who has lodged
us, out of His favor, in the Abode of Permanence, where no weariness
or fatigue affects us." (Surah Fatir, 34-35)
The Qur'an contains detailed accounts of conversations among
believers, to whom Allah has given an exalted position in Paradise.
These conversations are important, because they provide a good example
for believers in this life. The verses: "They will hear no idle talk
in it, nor any call to sin. All that is said is: 'Peace! Peace!'''
(Surat al-Waqi'a, 25-26) show the importance of avoiding empty talk.
Elsewhere, the same point is expressed as:
They will hear no idle talk nor any lying there, as a recompensation
from your Lord, a commensurate gift. (Surat an-Naba', 35-36)
Now, let us look at every word of wisdom in the conversations taking
place in Paradise.
After giving their account, believers are sent to Paradise in groups.
The gates of Paradise are opened for them, and they are greeted by the
gatekeeper, who says to them:
"Peace be upon you! You have done well, so enter it timelessly,
forever." (Surat az-Zumar, 73)
In another verse, it is said that angels who willcome in to welcome
them from every gate will say to them:
"Peace be upon you because of your steadfastness! How wonderful is the
Ultimate Abode!" (Surat ar-Ra'd, 24)
Believers answer:
"Praise be to Allah, Who has fulfilled His promise to us and made us
the inheritors of this land, letting us settle in the Garden wherever
we want. How excellent is the wage of those who work!" (Surat
az-Zumar, 74)
"Beforehand we used to live in fear among our families. But Allah was
gracious to us and safeguarded us from thepunishment of the searing
wind. Beforehand we certainlyused to call upon Him because He is the
All-Good, the Most Merciful." (Surat at-Tur, 26-28)
"Praise be to Allah, Who has guided us to this! Wewould not have been
guided had Allah not guided us. The Messengers of our Lord came with
the Truth." (Surat al-A'raf, 43)
This verse continues:
It will be proclaimed to them: "This is your Garden, which you have
inherited for what you did." (Surat al-A'raf, 43)
In another verse, the believers' thanksgiving in Paradise is described as:
Their call there is: "Glory be to You, O Allah!" Theirgreeting there
is:"Peace!" The end of theircall is: "Praise be to Allah, the Lord of
all the worlds!" (Surah Yunus, 10)
Another verse says:
They will say: "Praise be to Allah, Who has removed all sadness from
us. Truly our Lord isEver-Forgiving, Ever-Thankful: He Who has lodged
us, out of His favor, in the Abode of Permanence, where no weariness
or fatigue affects us." (Surah Fatir, 34-35)
The conversation between believers in Paradise is related as follows:
They will turn to one another, asking each other [about their past
lives]. One of them will say: "I used to have a friend who would say
to me: 'Are you one of those who say that it is true, that after we
have died and are turned to dust and bones, we will face a
Reckoning?'"
[And] he will add:"Would you like to look [and see him]?"
So he will look down and see him in the midst of the Blazing Fire and
say: "By Allah, you almostruined me! If it were notfor the blessing of
my Lord, I would surely be [now] among those whoare given over [to
suffering]. But then [Omy friends in Paradise,] is it [really] so that
we are not to die [again,] beyond our previous death and we shall
never [again] be made to suffer? Truly this is the Great
Victory!"(Surat as-Saffat, 50-60)
As we see from these verses, believers are aware that they have
arrived at this final happy end only by Allah's merciful will. Their
consciences are keen, and they remember the past. Perhaps their whole
lives are shown to them in detail, where they seethe members of their
intimate circle trying to make them deviate fromthe right path. And
they understand that if Allah had not protected them with His endless
grace, they could have followed the wrong path. Believers who come to
this awareness give thanks to Allah in Paradise, just as they didin
the world.
The verses below tell about the words spoken between the people of
Paradise and those in Hell, and give expressionto the latter group's
sorrow:
In Gardens they will ask the evildoers: "What caused you to enter Saqar [Hell]?"
They will say: "We were not among the prayerful, and we did not feed
the poor. We plunged with those whoplunged, and denied theDay of
Judgment until the Certainty came to us." The intercession of those
who intercede willnot help them. (Surat al-Muddaththir, 40-48)
So, the people in Hell confess the evil that theydid during their
earthly lives, and understand that there is no escape from their new
abode. Another such conversation is related in these verses:
The Companions of Paradise will call out to the Companions of Hell:"We
have found that what our Lord promised us is true. Have you found that
what your Lord promised you is true?" They will say:"Yes, we have!"
Betweenthem a herald will proclaim: "May the curse of Allah be upon
the wrongdoers, those who bar access to the Way of Allah, desiring to
make itcrooked, and reject the hereafter." (Surat al-A'raf, 44-45)
The Companions of Hell will call out to the Companions of
Paradise:"Throw down some water to us, or some of what Allah has given
youas provision." They will say: "Allah has forbiddenthem to the
disbelievers." (Surat al-A'raf, 50)
So, the suffering of those in Hell increases several fold. In addition
to the many pains they endure, they can see the blessings of Paradise
and speak with the people there. However, they cannot attain the
blessings that those people enjoy, and it is too late to be sorry.
This spiritual suffering is described in another verse:
On the Day when those who were unbelievers are exposed to the Fire,
[it will be said to them]:"You dissipated the good things you had in
your worldly life, and enjoyed yourself in it. Sotoday you are being
repaid with the punishment of humiliation for being arrogant in the
earth without any right, and for being deviators." (Surat al-Ahqaf,
20)
So, disbelievers are imprisoned forever in Hell as a "reward" for the
evil that they committed during their earthly lives. But believers
have found their perfect happiness and salvation.
